You're welcome. 35:30 I know there are so many people watching this now 35:32 who are missing loved ones, 35:34 and I know that sometimes 35:36 Christmas is a hard time 35:37 but I hope with all my heart 35:39 that you can remember the good times 35:41 that you had with the people that you loved, 35:43 and take heart that 35:45 you will see them again one day in heaven. 35:48 And I pray that if you're lonely today, 35:51 that you would find someone to be with 35:53 or someone that needs help today, 35:55 that maybe you could just go down the street 35:57 and take something to your neighbor 35:59 or take a casserole, 36:01 we love casseroles in our house. 36:03 We love to do things like that in the south, 36:05 that's where we're from, 36:06 but I know all over you love that 36:08 because we've visited so many wonderful places, 36:10 and you've been so good to us, 36:12 so I just pray that today that if you're lonely 36:15 that you'll reach out and you'll say, okay, 36:17 if I'm lonely, someone else is lonely. 36:20 And so I can do something for someone else 36:22 and in giving you receive so much. 36:25 That was such a gift I received just now, 36:27 and thank you so much for that. 36:29 I just appreciate the kids coming. 36:32 They mean so much, they're special to us 36:34 so we wanted these specific kids to be here today, 36:36 and thank you so much for coming and being a part. 36:41 You know, Ladye, I was just thinking about it 36:42 as one of us play and that was just amazing 36:45 and I was thinking about Mr. JR, 36:46 that was her daddy's name. 36:48 JR, he was a World War II veteran. 36:51 And we went to Hawaii one time and he said, 36:54 well, I came through here to board the ship 50 years ago. 37:00 Well, it's been lot longer that now 37:02 but you know when he said, 37:03 we played mandolin right here. 37:04 And he just played them, 37:06 we would sit and play those hymns 37:07 there in this season. 37:08 You know what... 37:10 I want to say there is, every Christmas Eve 37:11 he would pick his mandolin up 37:12 and you would get on the piano 37:14 and we would play till midnight 37:16 'cause we're late night people. 37:17 Now here's the thing, 37:18 it wouldn't sound quite like Mr. Tim. 37:20 Yes. 37:23 Did she just said, no, I mean yes. 37:26 Yeah, it didn't but it's absolutely beautiful. 37:27 And my mom is not a late night person, 37:29 so she would be lying in the bed 37:31 and she'd be going, that's a good one. 37:32 Okay, that was good, that was great. 37:34 But you know what... And we would just sing... 37:37 We'd just sing Christmas carols and hymns 37:39 till and bring in then... 37:41 But, Ladye, I was just thinking about what you said, I mean, 37:43 you've seen a lot of times, you know, 37:45 this season a lot of people are sad 37:49 or maybe they're hopeless. 37:50 Yes. 37:52 Jesus said, He will never leave us 37:55 nor He will forsake us, 37:57 and He's promised us that, you know, 37:59 and who... 38:01 The miracle of the birth, 38:04 the virgin birth 38:06 and what that takes on, love wins. 38:08 That's right. 38:10 Love wins, it just, it just beat hatred every time. 38:12 Because there's a lot of bad things 38:14 right now going in. 38:15 A lot of people, a lot of hate in the world 38:17 but the love, his love is bigger 38:20 and will conquer all the hate in the world, 38:23 but like we've heard so many times, 38:25 Satan comes to steal and kill, and destroy. 38:27 Yeah. But love conquers all. 38:29 Love conquers all. 38:32 Ladye, I want you to... Can you join me right up here? 38:34 I want to do another number with you. 38:36 And love actually really truly came down 38:39 one Christmas to us. 38:42 It was the gift to us, a free gift to us 38:44 that we all can receive, 38:46 and if you're sitting there 38:47 and you don't know anything about this gift, 38:49 just please take hold of it, 38:52 reach out and grab it and hold on to it 38:54 because Jesus is ready to help you 38:55 through your hard times, 38:57 through the sad times 38:58 'cause those are going to come, 39:00 through the happy times and the joyful times. 39:02 Love came down on Christmas. 39:29 Love came down at Christmas 39:35 Love all lovely, love divine 39:42 Love was born at Christmas 39:48 Star and angel gave the sign 39:56 Worship we the Godhead 40:01 Love incarnate 40:03 Love divine 40:10 Worship we our Jesus 40:16 Offering what for sacred sign? 40:24 Love will be our token 40:30 Love will be yours 40:32 And love be mine 40:38 Love to God and to all men 40:44 Love for heaven's gift 40:47 And sign 41:02 Love divine 41:09 Love was born at Christmas 41:14 Star and angel gave the sign 41:21 Worship we the Godhead 41:27 Love incarnate 41:29 Love divine 41:36 Worship we our Jesus 41:42 Through our heart may His love shine 41:47 Through our heart may His love shine 41:55 Love will be the sacred sign 42:29 Ladye and I are from Nashville, Tennessee, 42:31 and we actually have... 42:33 We told you earlier 42:34 we brought some friends of ours 42:35 in the background here play the piano 42:37 and all the instruments over there 42:39 and the big bass there 42:40 but we have another dear friend of ours, 42:42 and we met in the studio, her name is Dr. Yvonne Lewis. 42:46 We did. 42:47 How are you doing, Yvonne? 42:48 Hey! 42:53 Yvonne, you know what honestly... 42:54 We met in the studio 42:56 and truly I know we've told this story many times 42:58 but truly we were little bit nervous about 43:02 singing with someone who would... 43:03 You know, singing background is different. 43:05 It is. Heilige Nacht. 53:53 And I just remember that was so wonderful to me 53:55 the feeling to know that we were all together 53:57 and we were just thinking about love that night, 54:00 about the love, Christ love, you know, 54:03 and the tiny baby being born, so that he could die for us. 54:07 And it was just amazing to me. 54:09 I also remember going to my grandparents 54:11 and riding in the back of the car on the way home, 54:14 and couldn't wait to get back home, 54:16 and couldn't wait 54:18 when we got there to be with my cousins. 54:19 And, you know, as I got older, 54:21 anywhere I was, 54:23 I could be in college 54:24 or we would be traveling singing, 54:26 I couldn't wait for Christmas to get home 54:29 to Christmas to my parents. 54:31 Yeah. 54:32 And they're no longer here 54:34 and this song was always so special to me then, 54:38 and now it's even more special 54:40 because, you know, what I know, 54:42 I know that even though they're not here anymore, 54:45 that one day we'll all be home together. 54:48 We'll all be home together and I can't wait. 54:52 And even though this is a song 54:54 that's not necessarily a Christian song 54:56 or religious song, 54:58 it evokes some memories for me that were wonderful, 55:03 and like I said, I'm dreaming of that place 55:06 one day when we'll be together again. 55:13 I'm dreaming tonight 55:18 Of a place that I love 55:22 Even more than I usually do 55:30 And although I know 55:35 It's a long road back 55:41 I promise you 55:48 I'll be home 55:53 For Christmas 56:00 You can count on me 56:13 Please have snow and mistletoe 56:24 And presents under the tree 56:38 Christmas Eve will find me 56:50 Where the love light gleams 57:02 I'll be home 57:08 For Christmas 57:13 If only in my dreams 58:16 Christmas Eve will find me 58:28 Where the love light gleams 58:41 I'll be home 58:47 For Christmas 58:53 If only in my dreams 59:06 If only in my dreams |
