04:03 My name is, Madeline, and I am 13 years old. 04:06 Thank you, Madeline, 04:07 you're gonna have the prayer for us this evening. 04:09 Let's bow our heads as we pray. 04:12 Dear Jesus, thank you for today, 04:13 thank you for all you've given us. 04:16 Please let this rest of the day be good 04:18 and keep us safe, in Jesus name, amen. 04:22 Amen, thank you very much. 04:24 I'm gonna invite, Pastor Doug, 04:25 to come forward for our Bible questions. 04:29 Well, Pastor Doug, here we've another program 04:31 this evening and we have some video questions. 04:35 So let's start with that. 04:37 All right, we're ready to do that. 04:39 My name is Elyse, I am nine years old 04:41 and my question is, where is the Garden of Eden, now? 04:45 That's a good question. 04:46 We all know about the Garden of Eden, 04:48 that beautiful paradise that the Lord made 04:50 in the very beginning, everything was perfect. 04:53 The Bible tells us, God said it was good, good, very good. 04:58 Now, that was God's garden, he planted it. 05:01 And of course after the flood of Noah, 05:04 some people say they discovered, 05:05 the Garden of Eden, but nobody has really discovered it. 05:09 I believe that the Garden of Eden, 05:10 and the Bible doesn't specifically say this, 05:12 but I believe that the Garden of Eden, 05:14 was taken up by the Lord to Heaven 05:18 and it will be in the New Jerusalem. 05:20 Now the Bible does say 05:21 in Revelation Chapter 21 and Chapter 22. 05:24 You've got the tree of life 05:26 that was in the Garden of Eden, is gonna be in heaven. 05:28 And I think the Lord did something 05:30 to preserve that tree. 05:32 You know the Bible tells us in Revelation 21, 05:34 the New Jerusalem, we have a lesson 05:37 coming on that is gonna come down from God out of heaven, 05:42 when Jesus comes back or at the end of the 1,000 years. 05:44 If God can bring a city down out of heaven, 05:48 can he take a Garden up into heaven? 05:51 Yeah, so I think, the Garden of Eden, 05:53 is up in paradise right now, God saved it. 05:56 And we're gonna get to go there some day. 05:58 It wasn't destroyed by the flood. 06:00 All right well, we've another question 06:02 that somebody wrote in. 06:03 It's Tristan, he is in fourth grade and he asks, 06:07 why did you do the "Amazing Adventure Series?" 06:11 All right perhaps, Tristan is wondering 06:14 why do we do this series? 06:16 Well, I think this is one of the most important things 06:18 that "Amazing Facts" has ever done, 06:20 in doing a special evangelistic and exciting series 06:24 about the Bible just for kids, 06:27 because you have your whole lives before you. 06:30 And if you make decisions during this series 06:33 to put Jesus, first in your life, 06:35 nothing is more important than that. 06:38 And so everything that's happening here 06:39 with a television broadcast and with the program 06:42 and the lessons and the Bibles is all to help you 06:46 be prepare for the most exciting adventure. 06:49 The one of going through this life 06:50 with Jesus, on into eternity. 06:53 And so, we just thought it was the most important thing 06:55 we could do and that's why we did it. 06:57 Amen, we have another video question, okay. 07:02 My name is Michael, I'm 10 years old 07:04 and my question is did Jesus have any brothers and sisters? 07:09 Yes, He did, the Bible tells us that Jesus had four brothers 07:14 and he had at least two sisters. 07:15 It names four of his brothers, I mean, 07:18 if I could remember their names, Judas, Simon, 07:23 is it Joses, and Pastor Ross, knows the other one, 07:27 now he remember and it says 07:29 his brothers and his sisters, 07:31 doesn't say how many, but in order to say sisters, 07:33 is that one or two? 07:35 It's got to be at least two. 07:36 So may be He had four brothers and twenty sisters. 07:39 We don't know, but it says 07:40 He had sisters and so, yes He did. 07:43 All right, now were they born before Jesus or after Jesus? 07:46 Oh, that's a good question. 07:48 You know some people are surprised to know 07:51 that Jesus' brothers and sisters 07:52 were probably older than Him, 07:54 they were the children of Joseph. 07:57 See, Joseph, probably lost his first wife 07:59 and he had a whole oogle of kids, 08:02 before he married, Mary. 08:04 And then so, Jesus, had these older brothers and sisters 08:07 and one reason we know that when Jesus, 08:10 was hanging on the cross, He committed the care 08:13 of his mother to the Apostle John. 08:17 And so if it was His-- He would normally done it 08:21 to His real brothers and sisters. 08:23 Okay, well, we have another question from Faith, 08:26 she is a fifth grader. 08:28 What is the best thing that you can do for God? 08:31 Wow, that is the most important question. 08:35 The best thing you can do for God 08:37 is to surrender your life to Him. 08:40 You know, being a Christian, 08:42 is a battle that you win by surrender. 08:45 You win by surrendering your life to the Lord. 08:49 Everybody is gonna serve somebody. 08:51 You can say well, I don't want to serve anybody 08:53 and if you say that you're really serving the devil. 08:56 There is no such thing as a middle road. 08:59 Jesus said, "He that is not with Me is against Me." 09:03 And so if you don't make your decision to be for Jesus, 09:06 what does that mean? 09:08 You're for the devil. 09:09 So the most important thing you can do is to say Lord, 09:12 I want to surrender my heart and life to You, 09:14 I can't do it with out You, 09:15 but I want to trust you with my life. 09:17 I believe you've a big plan for me and I am yours. 09:20 And when you say that you give God permission 09:22 to activate His power in your life. 09:25 He won't force His love on you, I mean, 09:27 He loves you, but He won't force 09:28 you to love Him, you must choose. 09:31 Right, I think our last question for today 09:33 is a video question, so we'll finish up with that. 09:37 Hi, my name is Ashtyn. 09:38 I'm 11 years old and my question is, 09:41 why was the flood 40 days and 40 nights? 09:44 Why was the flood of Noah, 40 days and 40 nights? 09:47 Well, 40 is an interesting number in the Bible. 09:50 You know, there is a lot of 40s. 09:52 Moses, spend 40 years growing up in Egypt, 09:55 then he spend 40 years in the wilderness, 09:58 then he spend 40 years leading the children of Israel 10:01 from Egypt to the Promised Land. 10:04 King David, reigned for 40 years. 10:06 King Saul, reigned for 40 years, 10:09 King Solomon, reigned for 40 years. 10:12 Jesus was out 40 days in the wilderness. 10:15 Moses went up the mountain for 40 days, 10:18 lot of 40s in the Bible. 10:20 Forty seems to represent a generation in the Bible 10:23 and so these 40s that it talks about 10:25 like the 40 days when it rained, 10:28 it means a new beginning, something is gonna happen 10:30 that will bring a new beginning 10:31 and you'll often see that there is an, 10:32 a new change after 40 in the Bible. 10:35 Okay, well thank you very much, Pastor Doug. 10:37 We have some special music brought to us 10:39 by the amazing adventurous singers. 10:41 The song is "My God is a Righteous God." 10:56 Jesus knows my every word and deed 11:01 Jesus longs to meet my deepest need 11:06 He lives now to intercede He will surely stand by me 11:15 My God is a righteous God My God is a holy God 11:24 My God is a faithful God He will surely stand by me 11:33 Jesus' love has drawn my heart to Him 11:37 Jesus' love has washed away my sin 11:42 His word makes me pure within He will surely stand by me 11:51 My God is a righteous God My God is a holy God 12:00 My God is a faithful God He will surely stand by me 12:09 Christ has saved me From sin's penalty 12:14 Christ will keep me For eternity 12:19 He guides through Life's stormy sea 12:23 He will surely Stand by me 12:28 My God is a righteous God My God is a holy God 12:37 My God is a faithful God He will surely stand by me 12:45 Sing to Lord 12:46 My God is a righteous God My God is a holy God 12:56 My God is a faithful God He will surely stand by me 13:08 Amen. Thank you so much. 13:12 That's the truth, that's a beautiful song. 13:16 We're so glad that you are here with us again tonight 13:19 and this series still has more than half of it to come. 13:24 Right now is a night number three out of ten nights. 13:26 And we have an exciting presentation tonight 13:28 that's dealing with a "Journey Through The Stars." 13:32 Now I don't know about you, but when I look up at night 13:36 and I see the sky and these clear stars 13:39 that go on for ever. 13:41 I just feel there is yearning to go up there. 13:44 And I have just had this dream for years 13:47 that someday I could be on the Space Shuttle 13:50 or go visit the International Space Station. 13:53 Pastor Doug, loves to fly. 13:55 If I'm on a motorcycle, I'm looking for jumps. 13:58 If I am skiing, I'm looking for jumps. 14:00 I fly an airplane, I'm a pilot. 14:02 And if I'm skiing or whatever I'm doing on the water 14:05 I always wanted to go through the air. 14:07 And for me, the one of the greatest things 14:09 that could happen is to just fly through the stars. 14:12 You know I was very interested to learn 14:15 that back in 2004, for the first time a private company, 14:20 they won a very big award 14:22 I think it was over a million dollars 14:24 because they were able to send a man 14:26 into space and back again. 14:28 It was a private company 14:29 and it was called "SpaceShip One." 14:32 And they actually piggy back this little bitty spaceship 14:36 on top of another plane 14:37 that was called the "White Knight." 14:39 And the White Knight flew real high in the sky 14:41 and then Spaceship One took off from that one 14:43 and it just shot up like a bullet 14:45 breaking the sound barrier many times 14:47 until it got up to space, made it over 65 miles up, 14:52 it is over 320, 200,000 feet and then it stayed up 14:58 there for few minutes, long enough 14:59 for the astronauts to eat some M&M'S 15:01 that were floating around. 15:02 He wanted to make his M&M'S float. 15:04 And then he came back down again and it landed 15:07 and I thought oh, they are practicing, 15:09 so they can take private people up into space. 15:13 How many of you would like to go up into space? 15:14 Wouldn't that be fun to be weightless? 15:16 But that would be nothing because if you just 15:19 go up into space around our planet, 15:21 you haven't gone very far. 15:23 I mean, even if you go like 15:25 the Voyager 1 or the Voyager 2 spacecraft 15:27 to the end of our solar system, you haven't gone very far. 15:31 I like looking at the stars through a telescope. 15:33 Some of you heard about the Hubble Telescope. 15:36 It's the most powerful telescope that they have got 15:38 in the world right now. 15:39 And when we look through the Hubble Telescope, 15:42 you see the most incredible things, space is huge. 15:45 Sometimes you look up at the sky at night 15:47 you think you're looking at a star. 15:49 You're looking at a galaxy, 15:51 a whole cluster of stars like that one 15:54 that's on the screen right now. 15:55 From far away that looks like one little dot of light, 15:58 but you get closer you find out that it is a galaxy 16:01 that might have a 100 million blazing suns, 16:07 not counting all the planets that would be in there. 16:11 We live in the, Milky Way galaxy, 16:13 which is I think that if you were to travel 16:16 the speed of light, first of all you'll get a ticket, 16:19 no you won't it, because the police is gonna catch you. 16:22 You go a 186,000 miles per second 16:26 it would take you 100,000 years. 16:29 Think about how far you would be 16:31 in one second, 186,000 miles. 16:34 If you--how far would you be in a year 16:36 if you went 186,000 miles per second? 16:40 It would still take you 100,000 years 16:43 just to go across the little dot in the universe 16:46 called our Milky Way galaxy. 16:49 Space is huge and heaven is way back out there. 16:54 Many believe that it's in the Constellation Nebula of Orion. 16:59 And there is some beautiful things in space. 17:01 I like this picture I got from the Hubble website, 17:03 it's a Nebula but it-- it looks like an eye, 17:07 out in the space they call it sometimes "The God's Eye." 17:10 Isn't that sound, it looks like he is looking down at you. 17:12 But that's actually a Nebula up in space. 17:15 Wouldn't you like to fly through the stars? 17:17 You know, what I am telling now is absolutely true. 17:22 You can, if you trust what I am saying 17:26 and you trust the Bible. 17:28 You can take a trip through space 17:31 and fly through the stars and you won't need 17:32 a spaceship and you won't need an astronaut suit. 17:37 Wouldn't you like to do that? 17:38 Wouldn't you like to be able to skip off 17:40 of the moon and go fly down the red canyons of Mars 17:43 and go circle Saturn and ones where the rings are. 17:47 And then just take off like a sharp past Pluto, 17:50 except you won't go the speed of light, 17:52 or the speed of sound, 17:54 you'll be going thousands of times faster. 17:56 Angels travel well the way we describe it 17:58 as the speed of thought. 18:00 They can just go-- it's true. 18:04 Jesus is coming back and He is gonna take those 18:08 that trust and love Him up 18:09 and they're gonna take a journey in an incredible 18:12 amazing adventure through space. 18:14 It is real and you have the opportunity to be on that trip. 18:18 How many of you would like to go? 18:20 I know a man paid two million dollars, 18:21 I don't know personally but I heard about it. 18:23 So that he could go up into the space station. 18:27 You can go on this trip 18:28 and your ticket is paid for by Jesus, isn't that exciting? 18:32 He is coming back to get those who are ready, 18:34 take them on that trip. 18:36 We're gonna talk about the return of Jesus tonight. 18:38 Let's get to our lesson "Journey Through The Stars" 18:41 is our lesson tonight. 18:42 This is lesson number three in the series. 18:44 Question number one, you're ready? 18:46 Will Jesus really come back to earth again 18:49 and take us through the stars to heaven? 18:52 Let's find out what Jesus said in His own words 18:54 and this was our scripture reading tonight. 18:56 He said "In my Father's house are many mansions. 19:00 I go to prepare a place for you. 19:02 And if I go and prepare a place for you, 19:05 I will come again and receive you unto myself, 19:10 that where I am, there you may be also." 19:13 He says I'm gonna go and He did, 19:15 He said, I'm gonna come back, so that you can be with me. 19:18 He is preparing the place for you, 19:20 how sad that would be if you left that beautiful mansion 19:23 He has prepared for you vacant, 19:25 because you don't get ready for His coming. 19:27 Wouldn't it be terrible to miss the bus, 19:29 when Jesus comes? 19:31 I've missed some planes before and it's an awful feeling. 19:34 When your whole adventure, your whole trip 19:36 you're just sitting there in the airport, 19:37 you see the plane taken off and there you are. 19:41 Well, you want to-- don't want to miss it 19:42 when Jesus comes, amen. 19:44 You want to be ready for that. 19:45 He says again in Revelation 22 verse 12, 19:49 "Behold, I am coming quickly, and my reward is with Me, 19:53 to give to every man according to his works." 19:55 When Jesus comes He is going to reward people. 19:58 And so if you trust Him and give Him your heart, 20:01 He will take you with Him through that trip through space 20:04 and you can live for ever and ever. 20:06 Question number two, this is very important. 20:10 How will Jesus come the second time? 20:13 Let me tell you why this question is so important. 20:16 When Jesus came the first time, 20:18 He came to earth as a baby, remember, first time? 20:20 His people, the Jewish people they had Bibles, 20:23 they had their Old Testament and in the Bible 20:25 they were prophecies about Jesus coming the first time. 20:29 But they weren't reading them, 20:31 or they were misunderstanding them 20:33 and they thought that when Jesus came the first time, 20:35 He was gonna come like a "Conquering King." 20:38 But they miss the part where He said, 20:40 He was really coming the first time as a lamb. 20:43 He comes next time like a lion, with power and majesty. 20:47 They didn't know how He was coming 20:49 and so when He came as a baby 20:51 they said, oh, that can't be Him. 20:53 We're expecting our Messiah to come 20:55 as a mighty power and so they were mixed up, 20:58 they were deceived. 21:00 It says, in Acts Chapter 1 verse 9, 21:02 it tells us how He is coming. 21:04 It says, "While they watched, He was taken up, 21:06 and a cloud received Him out of their sight." 21:10 They saw Him going 21:11 and as Jesus was ascending up into the sky. 21:14 It says, "Behold, two men stood by them 21:17 in white apparel, who said, 21:20 "Men of Galilee, why do you stand 21:22 gazing up into the heavens? 21:24 This same Jesus, who was taken from you into heaven, 21:29 He will come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven." 21:33 Now see what these angels were saying. 21:35 When Christ went to heaven the first time, 21:36 the disciples were standing, they were watching Him 21:38 go up into the clouds, probably look something 21:41 like the clouds around Pastor Ross' feet 21:43 when the program begins. 21:44 And they watch Jesus just disappear 21:46 and they kept staring and the angels said 21:48 why you're gazing up into the sky? 21:50 The same Jesus, is it the same one? 21:53 Is gonna come in the same way as you saw Him go. 21:58 Now, did they see Him go? 22:01 Yeah, are we going to see Him come? 22:04 Was Jesus real when He went to heaven? 22:07 Remember after He rose from the dead. 22:09 Bible says, they touched his hands, 22:11 He ate in front of Him, they hugged Him, 22:14 He was real person. 22:16 He's gonna be real when we comes back. 22:18 Some people say, oh, Jesus, already came, 22:19 He was spiritual coming. 22:21 Oh, when Jesus comes, you're gonna know 22:23 it's gonna be very real. 22:24 You're not only need to know that He is coming. 22:27 You need to know something about how He is coming, 22:30 so you won't be deceived. 22:32 And it says, "He left in the clouds, 22:34 He is coming in the clouds. 22:36 When he left he was real when He is coming 22:38 He's gonna be real. 22:39 When he left He was visible, 22:41 when he comes back He will be visible, 22:42 you'll see him, everybody is gonna know. 22:45 Question number three, 22:47 "Will we be able to see Jesus when He comes? 22:51 Or is He going to arrive secretly? 22:54 You know, there is a lot of very dear people 22:57 and they read the Bible, but they mix up 22:59 some of the verses a little bit 23:00 and they think that when Jesus comes again, 23:02 it's gonna be a secret. 23:04 That you're gonna be driving down the road talking 23:06 to grandma and if grandma is ready and you're not ready, 23:09 all of sudden grandma is going to disappear. 23:11 And if grandma is driving the car 23:13 and you're talking to her and she disappears, 23:16 you're in trouble because that car will be going down 23:18 the road without grandma any more. 23:20 And there might be a pilot flying the plane, 23:22 all the pilots disappear and the passengers who aren't ready, 23:25 the plane is going to crash or something. 23:27 And there are people they believe this-- 23:29 that Jesus coming is gonna be secret 23:31 and folks they're just gonna disappear. 23:33 But the Bible says, when the Lord comes 23:35 everybody is going to know it, everybody is going to see it. 23:40 Now I'm going to illustrate a few things to you 23:42 from the Bible here in just a moment. 23:43 Read in Matthew 24, and you know, kids, 23:46 I know I'm giving you a lot of verses 23:48 and I want to tell our friends who are watching at the site. 23:50 Hopefully you've got a piece of paper and pencil, 23:53 because I go through them so fast 23:55 you don't have time to look them all up. 23:57 Because I want to cover as much as I can during the program, 24:00 but chalk down the verses when you get them, 24:02 or they will be on the DVD's they're on the screen, 24:04 but I want you to check on, 24:05 Pastor Doug, there is a lot more verses in the lesson 24:08 than I'm able to cover during our one hour talk. 24:11 Matthew 24 verse 26, Jesus is warning us not be deceive. 24:17 He said, "Therefore if they say to you, 24:19 'Look, He is in the desert!' do not go out, 24:22 or 'Look, He is in the inner rooms!' 24:24 do not believe it. 24:25 For as the lightning shines out of the east 24:29 and flashes even on to the west, 24:31 so also the coming of the Son of Man will be." 24:35 Have any of you ever been outside 24:38 in a lighting storm when it flashes? 24:40 And after flashes a few seconds later then you hear 24:43 the thunder and a closer the lightening is, 24:47 the sooner you hear the thunder. 24:49 I remember being in the lightening storm 24:51 when I was little boy, I was inside 24:54 with my head under the blanket, I was little bit scared, 24:56 put my head under the pillow 24:58 and I could still see the lightening flash. 25:01 Lightening was the brightest light 25:03 that they knew back then. 25:05 All right, gonna illustrate something I need a volunteer 25:08 to look in the mystery chest. 25:11 You know, I'm gonna kind take a different route here, 25:15 want to come down here, you want to help me? 25:16 Right, you come on up here. 25:18 Well, you need to be patient here, 25:19 we're gonna try and cover as many helpers as we can. 25:22 Now, in the mystery chest you're gonna find something, 25:24 it looks like a police radar gun 25:26 and you'll find something else in there, 25:28 so don't take that, just take out the thing 25:29 that looks like big police radar gun, can you find that? 25:35 Okay, you know what that is? 25:39 It's not a police radar gun, but it looks like one. 25:42 Who knows what that is? 25:43 Flash light. That's a flash light. 25:45 And what's this? Flash light. 25:51 All right, I want you to also-- 25:53 don't sit, looking for Bible here. 25:55 All right, I want to try something here. 25:56 Can you close your eyes, what's your name? 25:58 Vicky, close your eyes for second, all right. 26:02 Can you tell them, my lights on your eyes? 26:03 Yeah, yeah, okay because you're right here next to me, okay. 26:08 Now you all close your eyes for second. 26:10 don't cheat, don't cheat, 26:12 close your eyes, keep your eyes close, 26:13 did I turn on the light? Yes. 26:15 You are cheating. You saw it? 26:19 Yeah. This one is a little harder. 26:22 Are you afraid for me to shine this in your eyes? No, okay. 26:33 This is like a million lumens, 26:34 a cameraman don't want me to shine this 26:36 in the camera lenses, but can you notice that? 26:40 I'll tell you what, we have a lot of fun, 26:43 I go camping with my boys. 26:44 Let me try something here, go ahead and close your eyes. 26:48 I turn on the light, did I turn on? 26:51 No, right close your eyes. 26:55 Put your hands over your eyes, I just wonder. 26:58 You could feel it, can't you? 27:00 Even with your hands over your eyes, okay, 27:01 thank you very much, Vicky. 27:03 I go camping with my boys, 27:04 and I tell you it's a lot fun too. 27:06 You go out there right in there with this thing 27:07 and you go boom, boom. 27:09 You can shoot it up into the clouds 27:10 and it goes a long way. 27:12 See how bright this is, everybody got a chance? 27:14 Okay, oh, I don't want to leave anybody out. 27:19 Now even with your eyes closed, close your eyes, 27:24 close your eyes for a second. 27:28 Okay, now, what's gonna be brighter I wanna ask you. 27:35 What's gonna be brighter? 27:38 That light, lightening or Jesus coming? 27:42 Jesus coming, is anybody gonna say, 27:45 oh, did Jesus come in an hour and go and I missed it 27:48 or is it everybody gonna know when Jesus comes? 27:52 Everybody is gonna know when Jesus comes. 27:54 I'll say, yet some people think it's a secret. 27:56 The Bible says, in Revelation Chapter 1 verse 7, 28:00 "Behold, He is coming with clouds" 28:02 and did you say that with me what that's say? 28:04 How man eyes? Every eyes. 28:06 Every eye will see Him, that means every eye 28:10 of everybody alive in the world, they're gonna see it. 28:14 Not only they're gonna see it, they're gonna hear it. 28:17 The second coming of Jesus is gonna be 28:19 the most climatic event in the world. 28:21 You can read in First Thessalonians 28:23 Chapter 4 verse 16 "For the Lord Himself" 28:26 it's really gonna be Him, 28:28 "will descend from heaven with a shout," 28:30 now I'm not gonna ask you to shout, 28:32 but I bet we got some good shouters here, 28:33 but you can't shout like the Lord. 28:36 "And with the voice of the arch-angel, 28:38 and the trumpet of God." 28:41 All right I need a volunteer. 28:44 I'm going this way, I want to be fair here, let see. 28:52 All right, yeah, matter of fact you want to grab a friend? 28:55 You grab a friend. 28:58 All right, hurry up, you guys got to come up here. 29:01 You're gonna be sorry. 29:05 All right, come on up here, 29:06 there is something left in the chest, 29:08 very carefully get that out of the chest. 29:10 There is something I want you very carefully 29:11 get out of the chest, wave at the camera 29:14 while you're looking in there. 29:15 Okay, now very gently bring that out, 29:19 okay, you can shut the chest now. 29:22 All right, now either you guys, know how to play trumpet? 29:26 No. Oh, that's okay, I don't either, but I'll do it. 29:29 All right, come up here for a second. 29:31 You're covering your ears, what's the matter? 29:33 Now, you guys, know each other? 29:34 Yes. Thank you very much. 30:24 Give them a hand for their good job. 30:32 All right, now what's louder? 30:35 My trumpet or the Lord's trumpet? 30:37 Lord's trumpet, is it gonna be a secret when Jesus comes? 30:41 No, the Bible uses the loudest language 30:45 there is to describe the second coming. 30:48 Remember, when Jesus came the first time. 30:50 He came as a gentle baby. He came like a lamb. 30:53 He came as our sacrifice, the first time. 30:56 But, when He comes again, He is not coming like a lamb. 30:59 He is coming the next time not quietly, it's not a secret. 31:03 He is coming like a lion, there is going to be a shout, 31:06 it's gonna be with majesty. 31:07 It's gonna be with trumpet and the earth's gonna be shaking 31:09 and everybody is going to know. 31:11 You know, why you want to be ready 31:13 to take that trip through the stars? 31:15 Because this world is going to be in bad shape 31:17 when Jesus comes and you don't want to miss it. 31:19 Some of you're thinking well, Pastor Doug, 31:22 doesn't the Bible say when Jesus come it's like a thief? 31:25 Yeah, it does say that. 31:27 Yeah, you probably, you're correct if you've heard that. 31:30 The Bible does say Jesus is coming 31:31 like a thief in more than one place. 31:33 But let's read what it says. 31:36 You can read in Second Peter Chapter 3 verse 10. 31:40 Some of you have Bibles, you might have time to find that. 31:43 "But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night," 31:46 now listen to what happens in that day. 31:50 "In which the heavens pass away with a great what? 31:55 Noise, The heavens pass away with great noise 31:59 and the elements melt with fervent heat 32:02 that means intense heat 32:04 and both the earth and the works in it are burned up." 32:08 Now, if the heavens are passing way with a great noise, 32:11 that means the atmosphere and the elements are melting. 32:15 Is it sound like a secret? 32:17 What is it mean when it says, He comes like a thief? 32:20 Pastor Doug, is not proud of it, but I told you I was-- 32:22 a little bit of trouble when I was growing up. 32:24 You know, I used to be a thief. 32:26 I am not proud of it, Jesus has forgiven me, 32:28 but I used to steal things. 32:30 And I've learned that it never pays to steal, 32:32 because it seem like every time I stole something 32:34 I got caught or somebody stole something from me, 32:37 it just didn't pay. 32:39 But, when I was gonna break into home and steal something, 32:42 I never send them an announcement 32:43 and said I'll be coming to visit you, 32:45 I'm gonna be stealing stuff. 32:47 I always came, it was a surprise, 32:49 but when I came and I took something they knew it. 32:53 See what I'm saying? 32:54 So Jesus says, His coming is going to be a surprise, 32:56 but it doesn't mean that when it happens 32:58 nobody is going to know, that's what He means. 33:01 You're not gonna read in the newspaper 33:02 the day after Jesus comes. 33:04 Jesus came yesterday and all the report about Jesus coming, 33:08 that's not how it's gonna happen. 33:11 So everyone is going to know. 33:12 Question number four, who is with Jesus when He comes? 33:18 Oh, I heard some of you know the answer to this. 33:21 Let's go to-- let Jesus answer this for us 33:23 and you'll find in Matthew Chapter 25:31, 33:26 there is several verses. 33:29 Jesus is speaking "When the Son of Man comes in His glory, 33:33 and all the holy angels with Him," 33:38 how many angels with Him? 33:39 All, all, how many angels are there? 33:43 Millions, well, does everybody have a guardian angel? 33:47 Yes, and there are six billion people in the world today 33:53 and so if there are six billion people 33:54 they're at least six billion angels 33:56 and I think some people not only have a guardian angel, 33:58 there is a recording angel. 34:00 He may not be writing, he's probably got video. 34:02 And everything we say and do God knows, doesn't He? 34:05 It's all recorded, so there are billions of angels. 34:10 Can you imagine what it would be like when Jesus comes? 34:12 It says again in Matthew 24:31, 34:15 "He will send His angels with a great sound of, 34:17 there is our trumpet again, 34:19 with a trumpet, and they will gather together 34:21 His elect from the four winds," 34:23 that means from all corners of the earth, 34:25 four winds, four winds, our north, south, east, west, 34:29 that means everywhere 34:30 "He will gather together His elect from the four winds 34:33 from one end of heaven to the other." 34:35 All His angels will be there to gather all that 34:37 are ready for that trip through the stars. 34:40 And again you read in Second Thessalonians 34:42 Chapter 1 verse 7 and 8. 34:44 "When the Lord Jesus is revealed 34:46 from heaven with His mighty angels, 34:50 in flaming fire taking vengeance on those who know not God." 34:54 And so think about when Jesus rose from the dead. 34:58 God send an angel down from heaven, 35:00 they rolled away the stone and threw it aside 35:03 and there were some Roman soldiers 35:04 there guarding the tomb, brave Roman soldiers. 35:06 What did they do when they saw that one angel? 35:09 They got so scared they fell over like they were dead. 35:13 One angel, can you imagine how the wicked are going to act 35:17 when the heavens are filled with billions of mighty angels? 35:22 You need to be ready when Jesus comes, 35:25 because there's going to be two kinds of people, 35:27 those that will reach out and say I'm ready Lord 35:29 and others that will run from Him. 35:32 You know, if I go out at night with this light, 35:35 I'm having fun with this, 35:36 but I want to illustrate something. 35:39 And there are cockroaches on the ground. 35:42 What the cockroaches do when you shine light on him? 35:45 They run, but if you go out at night in the woods 35:49 and you shine this, you know, what starts happening 35:50 with the moths, do they run from the light 35:53 or come to the light? 35:54 They fly to the light and so everybody when Jesus comes, 35:58 it's either going to be a cockroach or a moth. 36:01 They're gonna run from the light 36:03 or they gonna fly to Him. 36:05 And so you want to have Jesus in your hearts, 36:07 you're ready when He comes, right? 36:09 Again something else exciting is gonna happen. 36:12 It says in, First Thessalonians 4 36:13 and this is Chapter 4 verse 16, 36:15 "For the Lord Himself will descend 36:17 from heaven with a shout, 36:18 with the voice of an archangel, with the trumpet of God." 36:21 We've read that part, but I want to keep reading now 36:23 "And the dead in Christ will rise first." 36:26 So when Jesus comes, there is a resurrection. 36:30 Some of you may be have a loved ones, 36:31 you might have a grandma, or grandpa, 36:33 or friend, or someone who's died 36:34 and you're waiting for Jesus to come. 36:36 So they can come back to life, 36:37 that's when it's gonna happen, when Jesus comes. 36:40 Those who died trusting in Him 36:41 are gonna be given glorified immortal bodies 36:44 and we'll talk about that more on another night. 36:47 Then, what about those of us who are alive, 36:49 what happens to us? 36:51 It says, "Then we who are alive and remain 36:54 we shall be caught up together 36:57 with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air." 37:01 And that's when we begin our journey 37:03 from this world that's gonna be destroyed. 37:07 He will make a new one later. 37:08 We're gonna begin our journey 37:09 through space back to those mansions 37:11 He has prepared for us in heaven, 37:13 won't that be something? 37:15 And you'll be able to just fly around 37:17 and try out your new wings that will be exciting, 37:20 I want to be there, don't you friends, 37:21 I want to be ready. 37:23 Now when we looked at the Second Coming of Jesus, 37:25 I don't want you to be deceived. 37:27 It says, that His coming is literal, 37:29 personal, it's visible, it's audible, it's physical, 37:35 it's vitalizing, it's glorious, it's climatic, 37:38 you're gonna feel it, you're gonna see it, 37:39 you're gonna hear it, it's gonna be bright, 37:41 the earth is gonna be shaking, 37:42 there's gonna be a resurrection. 37:44 Let me ask, does that sound like a secret? No. 37:48 And yet the devil has got a lot of dear people 37:50 believing that Jesus coming is going to be a secret, 37:53 nothing secret about it. 37:54 Number five, will everyone go to heaven when Jesus comes again? 37:59 No, it would be nice to think everyone would go, 38:03 but Jesus is very clear that the road to eternal life, 38:09 few find it because few are looking for it. 38:12 Most people are just happier 38:14 with what's happening here in the world. 38:15 They're preoccupied with their entertainment 38:18 and their television and their videogames 38:20 and stuff like that, right? 38:22 So they don't think about Jesus 38:25 and so a lot of people won't be ready. 38:27 Revelation 6:16, "The wicked say 38:30 to the mountains and the rocks, 38:31 Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him 38:33 who sits upon the throne." 38:35 And it goes on and says in Isaiah 11 verse 14, 38:38 "With the breath of His lips He will slay the wicked." 38:42 So the very-- when He speaks 38:44 the wicked are destroyed by the breath from His lips, 38:47 because they're not ready. 38:48 Again Jesus said, "And, behold, I come quickly," 38:52 Revelation 22:12, "And my reward is with me, 38:56 to give to every man according to his work." 38:58 He is coming, He is coming soon, 39:01 He is coming very quickly 39:02 and everyone is going to be rewarded. 39:03 We're saved by grace but we're rewarded by our works, 39:06 because our behavior shows if our hearts are changed, right? 39:10 Now, there are several signs I want to give you quickly 39:12 that tell us about Jesus coming. 39:14 So you will know it soon and you won't be deceived. 39:18 Number six, what are some of the signs of Jesus coming? 39:23 I bet you know some of these answers, 39:24 but we're gonna go through not all of them, 39:27 but many of the main signs. 39:29 Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives one day 39:31 and His disciples gathered around Him. 39:34 He told them that Jerusalem was going to be destroyed. 39:36 They thought that meant it would be the end of the world. 39:40 And so they said what, when this is gonna happen? 39:42 "Tell us, when will these things be? 39:45 What will be the sign of Your coming and the end of the age?" 39:49 Or the end of the world. 39:50 And He gave them the answers of a number of signs 39:53 that we can know when His coming is near. 39:55 And let me tell you right now before we even get into it, 39:58 we're very close to Jesus coming. 40:01 I believe that you're living in the generation 40:03 that will see Jesus come. 40:05 One thing He told us-- the first thing 40:07 He said is to be careful about "False Prophets." 40:11 Jesus warned us about wolves that come in sheep's clothing. 40:16 Matthew Chapter 24 verse 11, it says, 40:20 "Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many." 40:25 Oh, you know, I'm getting of-- 40:26 and a signal something very important is happening, 40:30 you know, we got word that there might be a special visitor 40:34 that was gonna come, how many of you know 40:36 that President George W. Bush, was coming to Texas, 40:38 because of the hurricane. 40:40 He was going to view the damage 40:41 and we put out a request to see if he can come by our meetings 40:44 because he heard about the miracle 40:45 that happened here last night, did he make it? 40:47 Did President Bush, he did President Bush is here. 40:52 Oh, let's all welcome the president. 40:56 We're so glad that you're here. 41:00 You look like you've been working hard 41:02 and you need a little more than usual too. 41:07 So what brings you by the--to visit us 41:09 here at our "Amazing Adventure Program?" 41:11 Well, I just heard about this great meeting 41:14 and had to come see it for myself. 41:17 Oh, isn't that exciting, the president is here. 41:20 When did you pick up a South African accent? 41:24 Oh, it's a Texas accent--One of your International visits, ha? 41:29 How many of you believe this is President Bush? 41:37 Who is this? Mr. Freeze--I don't know. 41:41 You don't know who it is, do you? 41:46 Well, who are you? 41:47 You look like, President Bush, to me. 41:49 President Bush. 41:54 I think, something look suspicious here about your face. 42:03 All right, I think you have to take that off 42:05 and show us who you really are. 42:09 The jinx is up, oh. It was hot in there. 42:14 I thought. Thank you very much Pastor Ross. 42:18 You know, sometimes people 42:19 pretend to be somebody else, don't they? 42:22 You know, what's gonna happen in the last days? 42:25 Satan is going to put on a Jesus mask, 42:27 except his is not gonna look so rubbery. 42:31 He's gonna seep if he can impersonate Jesus 42:34 and he is very powerful with the tricks of illusion. 42:37 How many wants to say thank you 42:38 Pastor Ross to help us on with that. 42:43 He is probably been wearing 42:44 that rubber mask for half an hour. 42:47 You know, I've got a picture on the screen 42:49 I want to show you real quick 42:50 it's what they call an optical illusion. 42:52 Now, if you look in the middle of that, 42:55 do you see that there are black spots, 42:57 how many of you see black spots? 42:59 Do you what there are no black spots. 43:03 You try to pick one of them out, look at it. 43:05 Whenever you try to put your eyes 43:06 on one of the black spots they move, don't they? 43:08 Because they're not there, but when you look in the middle 43:11 it looks like they're there, 43:13 it's called an optical illusions. 43:15 The devil is the master of illusion 43:18 and disguise and impersonation, 43:20 He knows how to pretend that he is an angel 43:22 and that's why Jesus said, 43:23 be careful about false Christ and false prophets. 43:27 How are we gonna know the difference? 43:30 We've seen just in recent years many very evil, false prophets 43:36 and people who pretended that they were Jesus. 43:38 How can we know? 43:40 We've got to read our Bibles, haven't I been telling you? 43:42 How many read your Bible today? 43:44 Good for you read it and when you go home tonight 43:48 pick your Bible up, pick a spot, read the word of God, 43:53 it will keep you from being deceived by the devil, 43:55 because the Bible is gonna tell you 43:57 how to expose his deceptions. 43:59 Some other signs that Jesus is coming soon, 44:01 I've got to go through them quickly. 44:03 Wars and Disasters, do we have war in the world today? 44:07 Yes, and it's very sad that when people die 44:09 and sometime the innocent people are dying 44:11 and it's very tragic, are there natural disasters? 44:15 Yes, or matter of fact, we just had a natural disaster, 44:18 we showed you the Ike Hurricane pass right near Dallas, Texas, 44:22 yesterday and it was raining for the first time in history, 44:25 this church, right on top of this spot 44:28 and matter of fact I got a couple of drops on my head 44:30 and we prayed all this weekend 44:33 that the Lord would push that storms somewhere else. 44:36 We need to pray for the people that got beat up 44:38 pretty bad in Texas from that storm. 44:40 There's natural disaster all over the world, everyday. 44:44 Sometimes thousands of people die. 44:47 They had a tsunami a few years ago, 44:49 240,000 people died, a natural disaster. 44:54 These things are happening more frequently. 44:56 Earthquakes and floods, fires, I'm in California, 45:00 we had record forest fires this year in California, 45:03 all at one time, hundreds and even 45:05 over a thousand fires were burning. 45:08 That's one of the signs Jesus said, 45:09 these things will increase. 45:11 Another sign that I think is really important, 45:13 "Knowledge Will Increase." 45:15 You can read for instance in Daniel Chapter 12 verse 4, 45:19 it says, "But you Daniel, shut up the words 45:22 and seal the book until the time of the end, 45:25 for many who run to and fro people travel to and fro 45:29 more quickly today than ever before. 45:31 In just a few hours I can be back in California. 45:34 Do you know back in the days of your great grand parents 45:37 or my grand father, it could take days to get to California, 45:42 before airplanes and before that it could take 45:45 weeks on a train and before that it would take months 45:48 on a horse or a foot or wagon. 45:51 In one generation things have changed so much, 45:55 knowledge has increased, not only do people go to and fro, 45:58 knowledge has increased, it's just absolutely fantastic. 46:02 How quickly things are changing, 46:04 you look at all the inventions they now got 46:05 microscopic robots they're developing 46:08 or you actually swallow a camera if the doctor 46:10 wants to see if you got a tummy ache 46:12 you can swallow a camera in a pill, 46:15 it goes in, it takes a bunch of pictures 46:17 I won't tell you how they collect it later 46:18 and then they check it out the film. 46:21 And things are all microscopic 46:23 and I won't ask for show of hands 46:25 how many of you have one of this Vee's? 46:28 I didn't want to ask for show of hands. 46:30 But I figured they were plenty of you out there, 46:33 but they got these whole interactive games now, 46:35 pretty soon they got them where you put these helmet on 46:37 and it does all the exercise for you. 46:39 I guess well, some of you actually have to exercise. 46:41 In just one generation, 46:43 look at all the changes that have happened. 46:46 When I did my grandfather's funeral, 46:48 I thought about he died at 93, 46:50 all the changes he saw, grew up, wanted home, 46:53 kerosene light, use horses to get around 46:57 and he watch things change from that 46:59 where they use cannon balls to fight to nuclear weapons, 47:03 from kerosene to electricity, 47:06 from the telephone to the television, 47:09 to the internet, to satellite, 47:12 it's all showing us Jesus is coming soon. 47:14 Speaking of that another sign of Christ soon coming 47:18 is the gospel is going to the whole world. 47:20 Jesus said, in Matthew Chapter 24 verse 14, 47:24 "And the gospel of the kingdom will be preached 47:26 in all the world for a witness to all nations, 47:30 then the end will come." 47:33 Do you know, right now while we were doing this program 47:37 these cameras are recording it, 47:38 it's bouncing of satellites all across North America, 47:42 Three Angels Broadcasting and Hope Channel are carrying 47:45 the signal all around the world from this church right here. 47:49 The gospel is being preached to young people 47:51 just like you in Australia, in South Africa, in Europe, 47:55 in many different parts of the world. 47:58 Jesus said, the gospel will be preached in to all the world 48:02 for witness to all nations then the end will come. 48:08 Do you believe Jesus? Yes. 48:10 Are you ready for that trip through the stars? 48:12 Another sign of the times, 48:14 Jesus said there would be a lot of selfishness. 48:17 People, only thinking about themselves 48:18 that's the opposite of love. 48:20 Now, I know you don't ever fight 48:22 with your brothers or sisters or friends at school, right? 48:25 So many times our fights, 48:27 oh, you don't need to raise your hands I already knew. 48:30 I had kids in my home for 30 years, I know. 48:33 But that's one of the signs, 48:36 we need more love in our hearts now. 48:37 You can read in Second Timothy Chapter 3 48:39 verse 2 and 4-- 1, 2, and 4. 48:43 "But know this, that in the last day's 48:45 men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, 48:49 lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God." 48:53 That's a sign of a last days Jesus said, people cold hearted. 48:56 We see brutal examples of crying. 48:59 People just don't care about each other 49:01 and they will shoot strangers 49:02 for a pair of tennis shoes or something. 49:04 And it's--you can read in Matthew 24:12 Jesus said, 49:07 "Because lawlessness will abound," 49:09 people are without law, "the love of many grows cold." 49:14 Again, disobedient to parents and there is so many signs 49:18 that tell us that Jesus is coming. 49:20 They're fighting all of the divorces that are happening. 49:23 This is not God's plan, He wants people to love each other. 49:27 Children it says, disobedient to their parents. 49:29 Oh, it bothers me when I hear parents 49:31 calling their children and the children don't listen. 49:35 You need to obey your parents, 49:37 that's one of the Ten Commandments, right? 49:39 Number seven, how can I be ready for Jesus coming? 49:43 How many of you want to know the answer to that? 49:46 Friends, at home do you want to know the answer to that? 49:48 Be ready for Jesus coming. 49:51 Jesus said, "Behold, I stand at the door and I knock. 49:56 And if any man hears My voice, 49:57 and opens the door, I will come in." 50:01 He wants to come into your hearts. 50:04 You know, years ago when I went to a military school 50:08 back when I was, well, I first time I went 50:10 I was five years old I went to military school, 50:12 then I went again from 11 till 13 50:15 and here's the picture here 50:16 of me and a buddy named Bobby Boyar, 50:18 in our dressed uniforms in military school. 50:20 I think I was about 11 or 12 there. 50:22 I was 12, 11 in that picture because when I was 12, 50:24 I had stripes in my uniform, I was company clerk 50:27 and every year they would inspect our rooms 50:30 and boy, I tell you they-- military school 50:33 you never had to clean your room 50:34 like I had to clean my room, 50:35 I'll just tell you that right now. 50:38 We had to clean our floor, 50:39 so you could eat our food, I mean it. 50:41 We had to fold our underwear in our drawer 50:44 and they measure how you folded it 50:47 with the ruler, it's a truth. 50:50 We washed our windows inside and out, 50:52 I know how to wash windows, 50:53 so there are absolutely no streaks in it. 50:57 Matter of fact, I'm probably little eccentric with cleaning, 50:59 because of the time I spend in military school, 51:01 cleaning, cleaning and I remember 51:03 we would wax our floors especially once a year 51:06 we would have what they call government 51:07 inspection and the most important people 51:09 in the military would inspect New York Military Academy. 51:12 It was the elementary school for West Point that's where I went. 51:17 And we had one of the top general, 51:20 four-star generals in the country, 51:21 General William Westmoreland, was inspecting one year. 51:25 And it was during the time of the Vietnam war-- 51:27 actually, yeah, it was still going on then. 51:31 And we all had to stand and it was a big-- 51:33 we had hundreds if not thousands of cadets, 51:35 we had to stand at attention in our doorway, 51:37 floors all polished waiting for the general to come. 51:41 We don't know when he was gonna come 51:42 because he'd stop at different rooms 51:43 and some rooms failed inspection 51:45 and ooh, you got in trouble if you fail inspection. 51:49 And we would stand there at attention 51:50 in our dress uniforms all our buttons polished, 51:52 our shoes polished and after waiting hours 51:55 because he inspected every room in the whole academy. 51:59 Some of the kids on my floor got tired of waiting 52:03 and there were no officers on our floor, 52:04 we were on the second floor, 52:05 they were all on the first floor. 52:07 And the kids got tired of waiting and they said, 52:09 oh, he is not here, someone look at the window, 52:11 see if we can see him coming. 52:13 And you know what they like to do? 52:14 They take off their shoes 52:16 and the floor is all waxed it was like ice 52:19 and they run up and down the halls and they would slide, 52:22 they run as fast as they could 52:23 and they would slide and some of the kids I said, 52:26 don't do that, he is gonna come you're gonna get caught. 52:29 They said oh, no, someone look at the window 52:30 watch for him, but one of the guys 52:33 who was looking at the window watching 52:35 he wanted to have fun too. 52:37 And so instead of watching 52:39 for General William Westmoreland, 52:41 and his entourage come to Dingley Hall 52:44 and inspect our building and our rooms, 52:47 the kid who was supposed to be the look out, 52:48 he got out in the hall 52:49 and he was going up and down the hall. 52:51 Pretty soon we had three or four kids 52:52 and they're taking turns and they're laughing 52:54 and they're racing up and down the hall 52:55 and they go-- they had stopped 52:57 and they had slide and knock each other down 52:58 they just slide in this wax floor 53:00 and you know I've to admit it was fun. 53:02 But we shouldn't have been doing it then 53:04 because we were getting ready 53:05 for the most important inspection of the year. 53:10 And all of a sudden we heard attention, 53:13 and I forget exactly they said something to introduce, 53:16 General William Westmoreland, 53:18 and right when he walked out into the middle of the hall 53:21 with his entourage two kids went sliding by 53:26 and they looked up, they couldn't stop 53:28 and they looked up and they saw the general 53:30 and they weren't ready. 53:33 Do you think they passed or failed inspection? Fail. 53:36 Oh, I tell you, you know, I was standing there on my door 53:38 at attention with my white gloves on, 53:39 and I kept wanting to play with the other kids, 53:41 but I thought, you know, as soon as 53:42 I'll do that he is gonna come. 53:44 And I said, I want to be ready when he comes, 53:48 I want to pass inspection. 53:50 And, oh, was I glad and you know what I got to slide 53:54 all I wanted after inspection up and down the hall. 53:56 That was not the time to do it. 53:58 Well, Jesus is coming friends, 54:01 and not just because we want to pass inspection, 54:03 but because we love Him. 54:05 We don't want to wait till the last minute to get ready. 54:08 We want to be ready now, right? Yes. 54:11 If you knew the school teacher 54:12 was coming to visit you, would you wait 54:14 until you saw her coming up the drive way 54:16 before you cleaned your room. 54:18 Or you wanna have things ready to receive her before? 54:22 Well, I am promising you right now 54:23 because Jesus is telling you, 54:25 I'm coming again and He wants you to be ready. 54:29 He wants to take you to that place He has prepared. 54:32 He wants us so much, He died to save you. 54:36 There is gonna be two kinds of people when Jesus comes, 54:39 those that are ready and those that are not. 54:42 There will be some that will look up 54:43 and say this is our God, 54:44 we waited for Him and He will save us. 54:47 They're looking for Jesus to come. 54:49 They're excited about His coming. 54:50 They want to tell their friends, 54:51 and getting others ready for His coming. 54:54 And then there are some who will say, 54:56 no I'm gonna live now for the world and for the devil, 54:59 I don't really want to live for Jesus, 55:01 I'm gonna live for myself and you know 55:03 those people are never very happy. 55:06 My last question is. 55:08 Do you believe that Jesus is coming soon 55:10 and do you want to be ready when He comes? 55:13 Yes. What is your decision? 55:16 I am hoping that you have some cards here 55:18 and we only got a minute left, 55:20 so we let's pass it on very quickly. 55:23 And I would like to ask you 55:24 and you may have to finish this after prayer 55:27 when we're off the air. 55:29 But I want to ask everybody to make a decision tonight. 55:32 Write your name, your address on the card. 55:34 They're distributing pencils here, 55:36 hopefully they're distributing these things in your group. 55:40 Very simple questions, do you want to accept Jesus? 55:44 Put a yes, put a check in box number one, 55:47 if you wanna say, I want to give my heart to Jesus 55:50 and follow His teachings in the Bible. 55:53 Check box number two, if you would like to say, 55:56 I want to be baptized and have all of my sins washed away? 56:00 You can make a decision tonight to accept Jesus. 56:03 And check box number three, may be you would like to talk 56:06 to pastor or one of your church leaders about baptism. 56:11 I like to encourage you to make that decision tonight friends. 56:14 I'm gonna have prayer with this group after we go off the air. 56:17 I hope the leaders who are watching 56:19 will have prayer with their children 56:20 and talk to them after we go off the air. 56:23 When is our next meeting? 56:25 Tomorrow night, I know some of you have school tomorrow, 56:27 but this is the most important adventure in the world, 56:30 just for seven more nights. 56:32 We're looking forward to seeing you. 56:34 Tomorrow night, we're going to 56:35 talk about "The Code of the King." 56:37 So right now, you have prayer with your groups, 56:39 we'll be having prayer. 56:40 God bless you. |
