00:40 to Behold the Lamb Presents. 00:41 I'm Chris Shelton, your host. 00:43 I wanna thank you for tuning in today. 00:45 Our message for today is entitled 00:47 Socialistic Ideas, not God's Plan. 00:51 Many Americans these days 00:52 are simply scratching their heads, 00:54 trying to decide if these socialistic ideas 00:57 are political, social, economic, 00:59 and social ownership are a way of life 01:02 that we really want to adopt here in America. 01:05 So as with most, any subject, 01:08 if we want to learn what truth is, 01:11 where do we turn? 01:12 We turn to God's Word 01:14 and to see if that subject is presented in Scripture, 01:17 or if we can find fundamental principles 01:20 of a particular subject that's addressed, 01:23 then we have an absolute teaching of truth 01:27 from which we may ascertain and gain 01:30 a clear path of understanding 01:31 upon such as this one here today. 01:34 And, of course, the subject of socialistic ideas 01:38 would clearly affect each and every one of us 01:41 in one way or the other. 01:43 In the way we live, the way we work, 01:45 the way we interact with one another. 01:47 If these principles 01:49 are ever fully adopted here in the United States, 01:52 obviously this would also include 01:56 how we are able to share God's Word, 01:58 televise His Word, 02:00 mail out books that are written about His Word, 02:03 or even holding meetings 02:05 speaking on His Word 02:07 from my understanding of socialistic ideology 02:11 and it's connection, 02:12 now listen, 02:14 and its connection with doing what is right 02:17 for the common good of all. 02:18 I know many of you have heard that phrase before, 02:21 for the common good of all. 02:23 I believe that living in 02:25 or adopting this type of society 02:28 would no doubt 02:29 have a great bearing upon 02:31 what we teach from God's Word or listen, 02:34 what we don't teach from God's Word 02:37 for that matter. 02:38 Psalms 119:105 states that, 02:41 "The word of God is a lamp unto my feet 02:44 and a light into my path." 02:46 Would it not then be wrong 02:49 to not teach the Bible 02:52 all that it offers to others that we care about so deeply. 02:56 That reminds me when I thought about this, 02:59 of the song, this little light of mine, 03:02 you know, where we would sing 03:04 about hiding the light under a bushel and the song, 03:07 the answer is always, no, we wouldn't do that, 03:11 but is it possible that the world is crying. 03:13 Yes, hide it, hide it under a bushel. 03:16 We want to, we don't want to see it anymore. 03:18 Well, let's just take a few moments 03:21 and join Pastor Kenny Shelton 03:22 and see what he's discovered 03:24 as he studied about this title, 03:26 the subject socialistic ideas, not God's plan. 03:30 But first we're going to go and visit 3ABN 03:34 and listen to a song 03:35 that is entitled In Times Like These. 03:38 What an appropriate title, 03:40 what an appropriate song 03:41 In Times Like These 03:43 with Stephanie Dawn, Pastor John Lomacang, 03:45 and accompanied by Dan Thornton on the piano. 04:08 In times like these 04:14 You need a Savior 04:19 In times like these 04:23 You need an anchor 04:29 Be very sure 04:34 Be very sure 04:39 Your anchor holds 04:43 And grips the Solid Rock! 07:25 Be very sure 07:29 Be very sure 07:34 Your anchor holds 07:38 And grips the Solid Rock! 07:51 Thank you for joining us here at Behold the Lamb Ministries. 07:53 And we appreciate so very much 07:55 your cards, your letters, your support, 07:56 keep the message going around the world. 07:58 Again. 08:00 We believe by the grace of God that Jesus is coming soon. 08:03 There's no doubt about it. 08:04 Signs foretell this, 08:05 we need to be wide awake as God's people, 08:08 and we believe the message for today. 08:10 Today, will, we pray 08:12 'cause we're going to hit home in your life. 08:13 You may be struggling with something you may be, 08:15 you know, looking for answers. 08:17 God has the answers for you. 08:19 We're going to be going to His Word 08:20 and searching the scriptures. 08:22 As we talk about this subject, 08:24 you know, as I look at and study this week, 08:26 I thought, you know, 08:27 God does have a message for His people. 08:29 God is speaking to His people here. 08:31 We're going to be talking about. 08:32 And again, things that are going on, 08:34 so socialistic ideas, 08:36 notice, not God's plan. 08:41 Socialistic ideas, not God's plan. 08:46 And I think we'll prove that as we go along. 08:48 So again, we're glad that you're with us today 08:50 and get a pencil and paper and get your Bible out 08:52 because I think you need to check the preacher out. 08:56 That means all of them, 08:58 no one gets a free pass right in this life. 09:00 We are supposed to check him out to see 09:02 whether it be so based on the Word of God, 09:05 if it's not, 09:06 I guess I should be careful. 09:08 I was going to say, throw him out. 09:09 But I guess I'll go ahead and say that anyway. 09:11 I've been known to say things like that, 09:12 because we need to match up with the Word of God. 09:14 I'm going to, you don't have to if you want, 09:17 that many people say they join us. 09:18 Every time we come on, 09:20 you know, they're home, they're watching, 09:22 they get down off of their couch, 09:23 out of that easy chair 09:25 and they get down on their knees and they pray. 09:26 Thank you for doing that. 09:27 But I'm going to kneel up here 09:29 and you can do what you want to do there at home, 09:31 but we need to ask the blessings of God 09:32 upon this service. 09:34 Merciful Father in heaven, 09:36 we thank You again for the privilege of prayer. 09:38 Thank You that we can call You our Father. 09:40 Thank You that we have Your blood. 09:42 We thank You that it cleanses us 09:43 from all unrighteousness. 09:45 We're thankful for the Word of God 09:46 reveal signs of the times are everywhere 09:50 and we need to be wide awake. 09:53 We need not little fluffy 09:54 wasn't or a message in this hour that we live in. 09:57 We need to be determined by the grace of God 09:59 to set our eyes, our hearts, our minds upon heaven. 10:02 And let nothing 10:04 keep us from walking down that road 10:05 that you have for us. 10:07 Thank You for Your love and Your mercy. 10:09 We ask now in a special way, Your Holy Spirit 10:11 will take possession of my heart, 10:12 my life, my mind. 10:14 I ask for forgiveness, 10:15 Lord of any sin, anything in my heart and life 10:17 that needs to not be there. 10:18 Dear God, I need to hear from you today. 10:20 There Your people need to hear from you today. 10:22 We pray as you join us, that we will in Jesus' name. 10:25 Amen. 10:28 Again, we're going to talk about 10:30 socialistic ideas, not God's plan. 10:33 You know, there's a story that was told 10:34 this was taken from here of Allan P. Kirby. 10:37 And as I heard it, 10:38 I thought it was very, very interesting. 10:40 And it does talk a little bit 10:41 about what we're going to be speaking on today. 10:45 He's the, uh, 10:46 works for the Center of Constitutional Studies 10:49 in the city, in Washington, DC. 10:52 So he has quite a big, important job 10:55 and he on a speech he gave this story. 10:58 I thought it was very, uh, interesting, 11:00 and that it'd be nice to share it today. 11:03 He starts out with, he said, I have three kids. 11:07 As soon as I read that, I said, bless his heart. 11:09 That'll sink in for a long, bless his heart. 11:12 He said, I have three kids. Notice this. 11:14 He said, I have one 12 and I have nine and five. 11:18 You know, that's quite a difference 11:19 in the age there. 11:21 And so a lot of different things are going on. 11:23 He said, they're just average kids. 11:26 Most of the time, our children, we think they're above average. 11:29 They're a little bit better than everybody else. 11:31 A little bit better looking than everybody. 11:32 Okay. But he said, these are just average kids. 11:34 And he said, you know, they're really good. 11:37 He said, last fall, 11:38 we're sitting around the dinner table 11:40 and you know, children, 11:41 my 12 year old was doing what he's best at, 11:43 agitating the other ones. 11:46 Have we been ever known to do something like that? 11:49 Yeah. 11:50 Maybe some have, I don't know if I have or not, 11:52 but I've done my share of agitation 11:55 I'll tell you. 11:57 But, you know, finally, 11:59 the 12 year old was there talking along. 12:00 And then I said, oh my. 12:02 And the little girl said, 12:04 Oliver, Oliver, that was a 12 year old's name. 12:07 She said, "Would you stop talking!" 12:10 And then she looked at him and she said, 12:12 and, and forever. 12:15 I've been told to stop talking sometime 12:17 or stop preaching, sit down. 12:18 But I don't think it's been forever. 12:21 So naturally that kind of, 12:22 you know, got him riled up just a little bit. 12:25 And then the volley went back and forth 12:26 with all three of them. 12:28 You know, they were in, 12:29 so finally dad said, wait a minute here 12:30 at the dinner table, you know, let's stop in this. 12:32 I want to restore some peace. 12:34 So I'm going to ask you a question. 12:37 He said, I'm going to ask you a question. 12:39 I want an answer from each one of you. 12:41 He said, tell me what you think free speech means. 12:47 Since we are challenged with that today, 12:50 it deserves our attention. 12:53 Is anybody with me? 12:55 It deserves our attention 12:57 and anybody that says it doesn't, 12:58 I just ask you to rethink it. 13:01 Rethink it, 13:03 the enemy is trying to shut it down 13:04 so that we can't give the message 13:06 that God wants us to give. 13:09 So they said, okay, well we can do that. 13:11 So the 12 year old went on and started talking 13:14 and he said, you know, 13:16 dad said, well, he's a pretty serious student in school 13:19 and pretty sharp guy. 13:21 And he started out, he said, "Congress shall make no law." 13:24 I mean, he's really going to lay it down. 13:26 Congress shall make no law. 13:29 And, then he continued on after that 13:32 and there contained several more things he brought out. 13:34 He talked about the Constitution, 13:35 the Bill of Rights 13:37 and warnings about certain exceptions 13:40 for public safety and liable. 13:43 Well, man, that's quite a bit for a 12 year old 13:45 and maybe a lot for us today. 13:48 And dad, after the son got finished, 13:50 he said, I'm sure, glad now that I heard all of that 13:53 because of all the... 13:54 I sent him to private schools and it cost a lot. 13:56 It sounds like he's learning something. 13:58 So now he switched to the nine year old. 14:01 Nine year old went next 14:03 and they notice this, 14:05 a rebel convinced that everyone ignores her. 14:09 So she's a rebel. 14:10 Dad says, 14:12 and she's convinced that no one wants to listen to her. 14:13 And she just, she has a lot of ideas. 14:17 And she said, you know, I don't know 14:19 what public safety is. 14:20 I don't know what liable is. 14:22 And it really doesn't matter 14:24 because to me nine-year-old free speech should be, 14:29 notice this, there should never be any restrictions on anything 14:34 that anybody says any time anywhere. 14:39 Hmm. 14:40 And she added, notice this, 14:41 that we all could start by listening to her 14:44 what she has to say. 14:47 She did have an ax to grind, did she not? 14:50 She wanted people to listen to her. 14:52 So she has free speech 14:53 so that the, well that's pretty good. 14:55 Now the five-year old steps to the plate. 14:58 He turns, and he says, 15:00 you know, you could tell, 15:02 he said, this is a girl said, 15:04 she, she'd been thinking hard 15:05 about what she was going to say when her turn came up. 15:09 So she fixed a real stare on her brother and sister. 15:13 I mean, she was really looking at them, 15:14 five years old, remember now, and she says, there's a stare, 15:17 "Free speech, 15:20 she says, is that you can say what you want 15:25 as long as I like it." 15:30 That doesn't sound a whole lot different 15:31 than grown-ups today in high places. 15:34 You can say what you want, 15:36 that's free speech for as long as I like it. 15:38 Huh. 15:42 Dad said, you know, is that, that moment 15:43 that I looked around and I thought for a moment, 15:46 and I said, you know, 15:48 I realized that my oldest 15:50 was a constitutional conservative, 15:54 my middle child, a libertarian, 15:58 and my youngest, notice this, 16:00 my youngest, a socialist with totalitarian tendencies. 16:06 A socialist, 16:09 who with socialistic ideas, 16:14 free speech. 16:16 But I need to agree 16:18 with what you're saying before you say it. 16:20 Doesn't sound like anything that maybe 16:23 that I think free speech is all about. 16:26 Deuteronomy Chapter 11, we'll read these things, 16:29 so just keep this in mind as we go. 16:31 There are three verses 16:32 and so, you might say 16:34 why usually you give one passage of scripture 16:36 and that suffices, 16:38 but each one has 16:39 just a something little bit different, 16:40 little touch, 16:42 little something that helps us understand 16:44 as we go through this lesson. 16:47 Deuteronomy Chapter, was it 15? 16:50 Is it 11? 16:52 Or is it 15 verse 11? 16:53 Somebody help me. 16:55 Okay. Deuteronomy 15. 16:56 I'm going to read verse 11. If it doesn't gel, you stop me. 16:59 Okay. 17:00 Verse 11, Deuteronomy 15:11 says, 17:02 "For the poor shall never cease out of," what?" 17:06 It shall never, notice that, 17:07 because that's what we'll talk about different times 17:09 as we come back here. 17:10 The Bible says, 17:12 "The poor shall never cease out of the land." 17:15 But you notice today there are plans 17:16 to try to get rid of the poor as it were 17:20 and to make everybody the same. 17:22 But Jesus says right, 17:24 through the holy Spirit, through Moses, 17:25 through the writings here in Deuteronomy. 17:26 "Thou shalt open thine hand wide to thy brother, 17:30 to the poor, and to the needy in the land." 17:33 God had a plan for those of us who are less fortunate, 17:37 kind of interesting, isn't it? 17:38 Matthew 26, notice, 17:40 just in case, we're still wondering. 17:42 Turn to New Testament, Matthew Chapter 26, 17:46 little more insight on this verse. 17:47 11, Matthew, 26:11, 17:52 just a couple of lines, but notice how powerful it is. 17:55 It says, "For you have the poor..." 17:59 Somebody will say what? 18:00 "You have the poor always with you." 18:02 So that kind of gets to my, my all. 18:05 You mean there's, that's not going to change? 18:07 Jesus said it would never change, 18:09 but the world says it's going to change. 18:11 It's going to have to change. 18:12 Well, how they going to make it change? 18:14 Jesus says, you're going to have him with you always, 18:15 but me, you know what? 18:17 You don't always have. 18:19 You have not. 18:20 One more Mark Chapter 14, which says somewhat the same, 18:23 but there's just a little added jewel in there 18:26 that we don't want to miss. 18:28 So turn with me to Mark 14, Mark 14 verse, was it 7? 18:33 Mark 14:7. 18:35 I always like to say it and I'll say it 18:36 time and time again. 18:37 I can't help us but say, the Word of God says, 18:40 the Word of God says. 18:41 When the Word of God says that settles, isn't that right? 18:44 It should settle it. 18:45 Where we get into trouble many times 18:47 as we don't leave it with God and God's Word. 18:49 We try to add our own little to bit. 18:52 We try to add just a little bit. 18:54 The Bible said, verse 7, Mark 14, 18:56 "For you have the poor with you," what? 18:58 "Always, whensoever you will you may do them good." 19:03 Jesus said what? 19:05 Do the poor good, but Me you have not always. 19:08 Now, remember there was a squabble 19:09 that was going on there at Simon's feast. 19:11 You remember Mary came in 19:13 while she had the spice and she spent a lot of money. 19:15 You know, that Judas was saying, 19:17 need to go to the poor. 19:18 He wanted to go to his poor pocket within it. 19:22 That's what he was thinking about was the self. 19:26 And so they just couldn't understand that. 19:27 But Jesus said, hey, this is all right, 19:31 for you're going to always have the poorest, 19:32 what he says, 19:34 but there are some times in our life 19:37 that there comes situation where duty is, 19:40 notice this, transcended. 19:42 There's something that takes its place 19:44 even though it's duty, 19:46 buy something just like this. 19:49 Jesus said it was okay. 19:52 Mary spent the money on what? 19:54 Ointment, 19:55 and the rest of the disciples didn't dig it. 19:58 They didn't want it. 20:01 And certainly Judas one of those coins 20:02 because there's about... 20:04 What was, it was about a year's work, 20:06 you know that she sacrificed and worked hard 20:09 and get that ointment to anoint to Jesus. 20:12 Said, no, you need to be giving to the... 20:13 You need to be giving it to the poor. 20:16 Where does this fit in? 20:18 Me, you have not always, Jesus makes it very clear, 20:23 try as though we may. 20:26 Hmm. 20:28 To try to take from the rich and try to and give to the poor 20:34 or what I've been hearing a lot of that, 20:36 all things in common. 20:38 Anybody hear that out there all the time? 20:41 All things what? 20:42 In common. 20:43 Let's not be scared about some of these things. 20:45 People don't like it. 20:46 Some of our own people don't like it. 20:49 It's the way it is. 20:50 It either is truth or it's not truth. 20:52 It's easier, is things that are leading up 20:54 to the end of time. 20:55 And it behooves us to take the warning 20:57 that God gives us. 20:59 The things that we're discussing here 21:01 are things or avenues 21:02 that are leading to the greater and bigger things 21:05 that's developing on the horizon right now. 21:08 Get it. 21:09 A lot of times they'll say, 21:11 well, you know, this might be a little bit far out. 21:12 Yeah, things are going to get far out 21:14 before it's over. 21:15 So far out, you're not going to make sense of it, 21:17 and I'm not going to make sense of it. 21:18 But I need to know that it's coming to that point, 21:22 because I hear people say, 21:24 well, we need to have all things in common. 21:26 With man that is an impossibility, 21:29 but I know Holy Spirit in Acts, 21:30 you know that they had all things what? 21:32 Because they were under the direction of what? 21:35 The Holy Spirit of the living God. 21:37 Selfishness had gone. 21:39 Man's thoughts were gone 21:40 and his thought was upon Christ and everybody else. 21:46 When I was in high school, I worked at a body shop. 21:48 Then we had a man there. 21:50 His name was Dennis, that's about far as I'll go. 21:54 And he said, 21:56 I never once saw you get a break, right? 21:58 When you're working along, you get a break. 21:59 And then there's a candy machine 22:01 or soda machine or something right there. 22:03 And most generally I'd, 22:04 you know, I wasn't really prepared 22:06 for that kind of stuff. 22:07 You know, I might've had a dollar bill or something 22:09 and I'd say, Dennis, you had some change 22:10 because he always had 22:11 a pocket full of change, always. 22:13 And every time I don't care, if he had $5 worth of change, 22:17 he'd reached in his pocket. 22:19 He had pulled out and he looked at me 22:20 and he'd say, 22:21 let's see if I have enough for myself first. 22:25 He's making a point, didn't he? 22:26 I'll see if I've got enough for myself for. 22:28 That's usually the way 22:30 that we think and we shouldn't, but we do. 22:33 And then he said, if I have enough, 22:35 then I'll help you. 22:37 Would that be interesting if that reversed? 22:38 And he said, 22:40 I don't really have enough change 22:41 for me and you both, 22:43 but why don't you take it. 22:44 Wow. Sacrifice. 22:49 But people in high positions as I mentioned 22:51 are trying to change things up. 22:54 A world that I don't hardly understand anymore. 22:59 The world I don't, 23:00 I don't recognize 23:02 like I used to. 23:04 Well, you say you're getting old, 23:05 but let me tell you. 23:07 Even the young people will say, things are changing. 23:10 Our vocabulary is changing. 23:11 You know, over words ever, nothing means the same anymore. 23:14 And we're having to change 23:16 and the things that we held at high esteem right now, 23:18 they're taken down, they're burnt, 23:20 they're forgotten, 23:21 they're erased from the history books. 23:22 We don't know what's going on. 23:24 Something big is about to happen. 23:26 And we need to wake up. 23:29 People in high places 23:31 are trying to redistribute wealth. 23:36 Ain't that true? 23:38 See, some people will say that speculation. 23:40 And I say, it's not. 23:42 Is that okay to be firm about it? 23:44 It is not. 23:46 They, it's in fact over and over and over 23:48 we need to redistribute the wealth 23:51 so that everybody is on the same page. 23:54 And I say to you, that is socialism, 23:57 and that is not acceptable with God. 24:02 You may be, uh, you may like socialism, 24:04 well, that's okay, 24:05 but since I don't agree with today, 24:06 that's, it's my turn. 24:10 You can fuss with me later. 24:12 It's okay. 24:13 We can be different, 24:15 but that's one of the things 24:16 that's going on in the world today. 24:18 And we need to find out 24:19 God's plan from the enemy's plan, 24:23 because this is going to be wide and separated 24:26 to where it's easy to see if you want to see. 24:28 If you don't, you close your eyes 24:30 and, boy, I'm telling you you're in danger. 24:31 Huh. 24:33 Jesus said, the poor is going to always be among us. 24:36 Evidently, they're going to try some things, 24:38 but it's not going to work 24:41 because the heart and the mind has not changed. 24:44 This world cannot change 24:47 unless the heart and the mind is submitted to Jesus Christ. 24:49 Isn't that right? 24:51 When that mind is there and it is converted, 24:53 then we will love God supremely 24:55 and our fellow man as ourselves. 24:56 Wouldn't it make sense to me. 24:59 They say, well, it's going to work 25:01 if you let them have the opportunity. 25:02 Jesus says, no. 25:04 Now you can choose who... 25:07 I'm going to stay with Jesus. 25:08 He says, no, 25:10 this kind of thinking is promoted by many. 25:15 And it's going... 25:16 Listen, the reason I'm talking about is because 25:18 it will affect the people of God. 25:20 Who are the people of God? 25:21 Anybody that wants to be the people of God. 25:24 Does that make sense? 25:25 Oh, it's this church. 25:26 Oh, it's that church. 25:28 Oh, it's that church. 25:29 It's anybody who wants to be, 25:32 you can be a part of the family of God 25:34 if you want to be. 25:35 And you're willing to come to Him 25:37 and willing to follow Him. 25:39 This business, I was raised this way 25:41 and I've been this way for 40 or 50 years. 25:43 And I've got an edge. No, you don't. 25:46 By grace are you saved through faith, 25:48 isn't that right? 25:50 Jesus says coming to him. 25:54 Yes. 25:56 I want to read a paragraph 25:58 that I found very interesting. 26:02 Now, some of you might be acquainted with, 26:04 or some of you may not. 26:05 I'm going to say up front, I love The Spirit of Prophecy. 26:10 I'm saying I love, 26:13 I do, The Spirit of Prophecy. 26:16 My mind is just not maybe good like yours. 26:18 And I need something to make it clear and simple 26:21 that I might understand it. 26:24 Does that make sense? His people. 41:35 As the crisis increases, 41:39 as it comes on us, 41:43 especially religiously. 41:46 If you become indifferent or if you shift it to neutral, 41:51 it's a grievous crime to God. 41:54 This is no time for what? 41:56 Neutrality. 41:59 There's nothing worse than the vehicle 42:01 that you can't get in gear. 42:06 Got this nice big... 42:07 I don't know if anybody has one here or not, 42:08 a big Cadillac out there. 42:11 Now, what you do has gotten, all you have is neutral in it. 42:13 Hey, right, give me the Volkswagen. 42:18 Give me the bicycle. It's too late. 43:32 Jesus said, when He gave a warning, 43:33 He gave the warning, didn't He right then and there? 43:36 He gave warning sometime 30 what? 43:38 30, 40 years in advance. 43:39 Remember, he's talking about destruction of Jerusalem. 43:42 That right in AD 70, 43:44 it's almost 40 years in advance. 43:45 He was saying, beware that 43:47 your flight be not in the winter, 43:49 nor on the Sabbath day. 43:51 Christ didn't know of any change. 43:52 I'm glad you're here on the seventh day 43:54 because that's the right day according to the Word of God. 43:57 Jesus didn't know about changes 43:59 that people are talking about today. 44:00 Things have been changed. 44:02 I'm so thankful for the young man 44:03 the other day, 44:05 he thought, well, didn't know diddly. 44:06 Can I say diddly? I'm dead serious. 44:25 And I said, well, that's good stuff. 44:30 Why can't the world see that? 44:35 This is all beautiful. 44:38 As the young man said yesterday, 44:40 he said, we need to be 44:42 in the presence of the Holy Spirit 44:44 more than we are. 44:45 Amen. 44:48 I'm batting my eyes and carrying on, 44:51 man, he's got it. 44:53 Just he needs to keep it. 44:56 And so I tried to encourage him. 44:58 Enemies not may, 44:59 but he's so mad at you right now, 45:00 he can't see straight. 45:03 You've went from being underneath 45:04 his banner to the banner of Christ. 45:06 And he is not, he is not going to, 45:09 he's determined not to lose you, 45:11 but we need to be 45:12 in the presence of the Holy Spirit, right? 45:15 A God that doesn't change. 45:17 He's the same yesterday, today and forever. 45:19 And what he's anointed, what he's blessed, 45:21 what he's sanctified, right? 45:23 It remains that way. 45:25 Man, if we just, people really believe that, 45:27 oh, we can say it and we can talk about it right, 45:29 day in and day out, blah-blah, blah-blah, 45:31 and blow a lot of hot air. 45:33 It has to be more than that. 45:34 It has to be the reality of it. That's what the Bible says. 45:38 You either believe it or you don't. 45:40 Call God a liar if you're big enough. 45:44 I'm not big enough. He got behind Him. 46:50 We say, get behind him. He said, make me. 46:53 Ain't that right? 46:55 You see, the devil say to you, 46:56 make me, you'll say, well, I can't do it, but Jesus can. 46:59 Oh, he's gone. He's gone. 47:02 We need to realize that. 47:05 We live in this hour, six or seven minutes to get to. 47:08 The pope, Pope Francis said this. 47:10 You may like to hear about the pope. 47:12 You may not like to hear about the pope. 47:14 Prophecy talks a whole lot about it, 47:15 and we need to be talking about it 47:17 here in the last days. 47:18 If we're God's last day, 47:20 people will be giving the three angels' message to the world. 47:22 We're not going to just give the first 47:23 and sit down and shut up. 47:25 We're not going to just give the second 47:26 and then sit down and shut up. 47:28 We're going to give all three. 47:30 In fact, the third angel's message 47:31 is the most fearful warning in the Bible and the what? 47:36 The majority of people just don't want to hear it. 47:40 Jesus says, they'll give it 47:42 whether they will listen or forbear. 47:44 Remember what he says? 47:46 He said, give it, that didn't mean force it on. 47:47 But he said, there's going to be people. 47:49 And we're going to have to go to the highways and byways 47:51 and compel them to come in. 47:53 We're going to have to offer them 47:54 something better I believe with all my heart 47:56 than we've ever offered before. 47:58 We need to offer him Jesus like we've never offered it before. 48:00 Don't you believe that? 48:02 When we talk about keeping the command, 48:04 we talk about being Christ followers. 48:05 We talk about all the identifying marks 48:07 of God's last day church. 48:08 We talk about the sanctuary message 48:10 and the Seventh-day Sabbath. 48:11 And we talk about all these beautiful truths, 48:15 death and hell, and you know, sanctuary. 48:17 Oh, it's just, they're beautiful. 48:19 When you find it from the Word of God, 48:20 it gives you such peace, 48:22 but it's time to get over just talking about it. 48:25 It's got to become part of us. 48:27 It's got to be so inside that it comes from the men. 48:30 If you don't give it, 48:32 if you don't tell somebody that day, 48:34 you feel like you're going to explode. 48:37 In fact somebody gave you a million dollars. 48:38 And he said, don't say anything to anybody. 48:41 I'm going to explode if I can't tell somebody. 48:45 Some of us selfish ones might say, 48:47 I ain't gonna tell him 48:48 so because everybody's my friend then. 48:49 Okay, you'll get it. 48:51 But you see what I'm talking about? 48:52 There's times that I feel like 48:54 I'm going to explode if I can't say something. 48:57 You see you're going to blow up. 48:58 He wants to come out. He wants to come in. 49:00 Then he wants to get back out. 49:05 As we mentioned that the papacy, 49:06 the Pope Francis in his booklet Laudato si' 49:09 written in 2015, I want to mention this 49:11 quickly as we go on. 49:13 Notice, he content. 49:14 He has, he has laid out a plan for the world. 49:19 Somebody's got to hear it. 49:21 If you've never heard it before, 49:22 just God bless you. 49:24 But he's laid out a plan for the whole world 49:27 to follow with him as the leader. 49:29 And as I look today, I see based upon Scripture, 49:34 Spirit of Prophecy that the whole world 49:36 is following in his steps. 49:40 Socialism could be, the government is, 49:45 socialists are, we at time named 49:47 a lot of those things which we look as very, 49:50 very simple to see. 49:51 He's, pope's said, 49:52 while I've laid out a plan of common, 49:55 I'm going to come. 49:57 All things be in common and for the common good of all. 50:00 Have you heard it? That's what he says. 50:03 Now to ignore that would be to ignore. 50:05 Maybe God's speaking to you 50:07 and kind of wake you up and me up to say, 50:10 we just have a very limited time 50:12 to make a noise. 50:13 And next time you make a noise, 50:15 it may be because somebody lends 50:16 some stripes on your back. 50:18 You may be making some noise next time, 50:19 because you're in jail. 50:20 And people say, oh, that's not going to happen. 50:22 Man, wake up, please somebody wake up. 50:25 My lands that we only had 50:26 the COVID thing and people with mask on, 50:28 a person out there in the ocean, right? 50:30 Was on some kind of, what was it? 50:32 A canoe? What was it? 50:34 A kayak or something by themselves, way out there, 50:37 quarter mile from shore. 50:39 The police went out there and arrested them 50:41 because they didn't have a mask. 50:44 I'm talking about here. 50:45 Don't think, well, 50:47 this can't happen in this country, it already is. 50:50 Do you believe it. It already is. 50:52 That tells us, right? 50:54 It's not, they did not, they haven't got it together. 50:58 Man's trying to put back together 51:00 what is falling apart. 51:02 You can't keep cranking out money, money, money, money, 51:04 and nothing to back it up. 51:06 It's going to blow up in your face, 51:07 enjoy your $600 or your $1,200 51:11 or your little gift like 51:12 that's going to pull you out of financial bind. 51:15 That's about as... 51:20 It's almost laughable. 51:21 Somebody agree with me on that? I mean, really. 51:23 And I, you know, I'm thankful we're trying to help people 51:25 and do different things. 51:27 But you know, if you, if you've got a house payment, 51:28 you got a car payment and you're trying to, 51:30 two or three kids in your house, 51:31 that won't go, hardly buy groceries with that. 51:38 They're looking for answers. 51:40 The answers is in the Word of God, 51:42 but they're going farther and farther away. 51:46 All you do is read that book Laudato si', 51:49 you will see the plan 51:50 that's laid out for this country and the world. 51:53 I went through it again the last several days 51:55 and read it again and again, and I got goosebumps. 52:00 This book came out in 2015, 52:05 as I mentioned, if we had time, 52:10 maybe next time I'll go on with it. 52:12 I don't know. 52:14 My wife gets mad at me because I say, 52:15 we're going to do one part, and I ended up doing two parts. 52:19 I don't know what to do. 52:21 But you know, to, to look at this thing, 52:24 to look at it quickly. 52:25 Oh, my, it came out in 2015 and people said 52:29 some of those things ain't going to happen. 52:32 They're not going to happen. 52:34 You look at it five years later, 52:36 six years later, look at five years, 52:37 six years later, everything that was said about 52:39 what was going to take place and what was planned 52:41 is taking place right now. 52:44 There's proof in the pudding and to ignore that 52:48 is just dead wrong as far as I'm concerned. 52:51 And they start with things like, you know, 52:53 oh, I'm, we're socialism, we're attacking free speech. 52:57 Hmm. 52:59 Socialism we're redis, you know, 53:01 redistributing all the wealth. 53:04 And we want socialism. We want climate change. 53:08 Wish to have more time to go into that. 53:10 It's an environmental crisis, COVID-19, fear, force. 53:15 We need to stay close to God. 53:17 I have to close on time or I'll get in trouble. 53:20 Surely I believe that Jesus is coming. 53:24 I believe all this stuff right 53:26 here is just little signs that foretell. 53:29 That means we need to be making changes, 53:31 not just talking about them. 53:33 Making those changes 53:35 and by the grace of God, isn't that right? 53:37 By the grace of God make those changes. 53:40 God bless each and every one of you, 53:41 I'm going to have prayer here. 53:42 We'll probably go out with that, 53:44 but I'm going to pray right now. 53:45 Would you pray with me as we close? 53:49 Merciful Father in heaven, we come to You and our minds 53:53 and hearts are just overwhelmed, 53:56 overwhelmed of the goodness that You have for us. 54:00 The promises that You left 54:02 in Your Word, You said, you know, 54:04 before these things take place, I'm going to warn you. 54:09 And You are warning us and sad to say 54:12 is possible that 54:14 the majority of the world will not listen. 54:18 Lord, I pray through the power of thy Holy Spirit. 54:22 There'll be someone today. 54:23 Someone who hears, 54:25 someone who listens around the world, 54:27 part of this message, all of it, 54:28 one word, it doesn't matter. 54:29 Only Your Spirit can do 54:31 the convicting and the converting. 54:32 All I've done is made a mess of things I always do. 54:35 And always pray beforehand that you'll take the mess 54:38 that I'm getting ready to make and you'll make it a blessing. 54:41 Only You can do it. 54:42 I thank You that You're going to do that 54:43 in the name of Jesus. 54:45 Thank You. 54:46 Thank You for those who have made a decision. 54:48 Those who have maybe been a little bit drowsy, 54:50 a little bit sleepy, they're slumbering right now 54:54 know they're wide awake and they can see the things. 54:58 As Jesus said in the Word, 55:00 we need to lift up our head 55:02 for our redemption draweth nigh. 55:04 Thank You for hearing. 55:05 Thank You for answering prayer.
