00:41 I'm Chris Shelton your host, 00:42 I want to thank you for joining us. 00:45 Having the Seal of the Living God 00:47 is the title of our message for today. 00:50 The definition of the word seal here 00:53 is a device or a substance 00:55 that is used to join two things together 00:58 so as to prevent them from coming apart, 01:01 or prevent anything from passing through them. 01:04 This definition alone is exciting to me, 01:08 as I contemplate having the seal of the living God. 01:12 Could it be that God is joining Himself to us, 01:16 to prevent us by His strength, 01:18 His power, His leading, guiding, 01:21 and help to keep us united with Him, 01:24 and to prevent anything that would separate us 01:27 from Him from passing through? 01:30 Obtaining this seal of the living God 01:32 is based upon our choice to desire it, 01:35 and strive for it through love and obedience 01:37 to the Word of God. 01:39 Revelation 9:4 01:41 speaks of this particular sealing of God's people 01:44 in the last days. 01:45 It reads, "And it was commanded them 01:49 that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, 01:52 neither any green thing, neither any tree, 01:56 but only those men 01:58 which have not the seal of God in their foreheads." 02:02 Having the seal of the living God. 02:04 What are the Bible requirements 02:07 for receiving this seal in our foreheads? 02:09 How vitally important is this seal? 02:12 Has God had other signs or seals 02:15 that He has used in the past to signify 02:18 protection of His people? 02:20 And what about the seven seals of Revelation? 02:23 What significance 02:24 might they have in identifying the time 02:27 for the last sealing of God's people? 02:30 This is a lot of information to cover in the span of less 02:33 than one hour together today. 02:35 But by the grace of God, these questions 02:38 and even more vital information will be covered 02:41 as we study along with Pastor Kenny Shelton today. 02:44 Before we begin our study, 02:46 let's visit 3ABN and listen to a song that is entitled 02:50 If I Stand with Sandra Entermann 02:53 and friends. 03:04 There's more that rises in the morning 03:07 Than the sun 03:09 More that shines in the night 03:11 Than just the moon 03:15 It's more than just this fire here 03:17 That keeps me warm 03:20 In a shelter that is larger 03:22 Than this room 03:25 And there's a loyalty that's deeper 03:27 Than mere sentiment 03:29 And a music higher than the songs 03:32 That I can sing 03:36 Stuff of Earth competes 03:38 For the allegiance 03:40 I owe only to the Giver 03:43 Of all good things 03:45 So if I stand let me stand on the promise 03:50 That you will pull me through 03:56 And if I can't let me fall on the grace 04:00 That first brought me to You 04:06 And if I sing let me sing for the joy 04:11 That has born in me these songs 04:17 And if I weep let it be as a girl 04:21 Who is longing for her home 04:27 There's more that dances on the prairies 04:30 Than the wind 04:32 And more that pulses in the ocean 04:35 Than the tide 04:38 There's a love that is fiercer 04:40 Than the love between friends 04:43 More gentle than a mother's 04:46 When her baby's at her side 04:48 And there's a loyalty that's deeper 04:51 Than mere sentiment 04:53 And a music higher than the songs 04:56 That I can sing 04:59 The stuff of Earth competes 05:01 For the allegiance 05:04 I owe only to the Giver 05:06 Of all good things 05:09 So if I stand let me stand on the promise 05:13 That you will pull me through 05:19 And if I can't 05:21 Let me fall on the grace 05:23 That first brought me to You 05:29 And if I sing let me sing for the joy 05:34 That has born in me these songs 05:40 And if I weep let it be as a girl 05:44 Who is longing for her home 05:51 And so if I stand let me stand on the promise 05:56 That you will pull me through 06:02 And if I can't Let me fall on the grace 06:07 That first brought me to You 06:13 And if I sing let me sing for the joy 06:17 That has born in me these songs 06:24 And if I weep let it be as a girl 06:28 Who is longing for her home 06:34 And if I weep let it be as a girl 06:39 Who is longing for her home 06:57 Thank you for joining us once again here 06:59 at Behold the Lamb Ministries. 07:00 Again we want to say how much we appreciate you. 07:02 We thank God for you every day. 07:04 We thank you for your cards, your letters, your question, 07:07 your support of the Ministry 07:08 because we believe that needs to go around the world. 07:12 That's exactly what Jesus said, 07:13 you don't want to keep anything inside these walls. 07:16 So we believe in filming them getting on 3ABN, 07:19 trying to reach as many people as we can 07:22 with the message of the soon coming of Jesus. 07:24 If we ever needed to know what is truth, 07:27 if we ever needed to know prophecy, it is now. 07:30 It's being revealed before our very eyes, our ears, 07:33 our lives, every day we see 07:36 there're signs of the coming of Jesus. 07:39 And those who don't want to see and don't want to hear, 07:41 you're not going to see and you're not going to hear. 07:43 But if you're praying, 07:44 the Holy Spirit will enlighten you, 07:47 enlighten me of these things before they happen 07:50 so that we're not caught off surprise. 07:52 Today we're going to be talking about 07:53 a subject that's very important, 07:54 having the seal of the living God. 07:57 What does that mean? 07:58 Well, we're going to get into the Word of God. 08:00 And after we have prayer once again, 08:03 and we're going to ask the Holy Spirit 08:04 to take possession of each of our hearts 08:05 and lives. 08:07 And certainly my mind and my heart 08:08 that I may be what Jesus would have me to be today. 08:11 I'm going to kneel up here and pray. 08:12 And you can kneel 08:14 or you can just pray along with me please. 08:17 Loving Father in heaven, once again, 08:18 I want to commit myself into Thy care and Thy keeping. 08:21 Thank You for that promise that You would be with us 08:24 that Your Holy Spirit would be present, 08:26 that You'd speak words of life and words of encouragement, 08:28 words of truth. 08:30 May we hear them today 08:31 and we thank You that You love us 08:32 with an everlasting love. 08:34 I ask that You forgive me of any sin, 08:35 anything in my heart and life that needs not be there. 08:38 Oh, Lord, I need to hear from heaven. 08:40 Your children need to hear from heaven today. 08:42 And may we be blessed by the truth 08:44 that You present today in Jesus' name. 08:46 Amen. 08:49 Again, I invite those who are home be sure 08:50 to get your pencil and paper out 08:52 and get your Bibles out and check some of these things 08:54 that we're going to be talking about today. 08:56 If you've never been through the study, 08:58 you might be a little bit shocked 08:59 and maybe you might get some goosebumps, 09:00 maybe you might want to throw something, 09:02 please don't do that because it's new. 09:05 It's new to some people. 09:06 So you have to put yourself 09:07 in that maybe the shoes of those 09:09 who maybe have never heard it. 09:10 And so it might be a little shocking, 09:12 but check it with the Word of God. 09:14 Turn with me to Revelation Chapter 7, 09:16 I'm going to read verses 1 through 3. 09:17 Revelation 7:1-3. 09:21 Now, remember the Book of Revelation, 09:23 remember, people say stay out of the book. 09:25 They're wrong when they say that. 09:26 Can I be that bold? 09:28 They're wrong when they say stay out of Revelation. 09:31 The reason they say is because the devil is behind it. 09:33 He's saying it 09:35 because Revelation Chapter 1 it says, 09:36 Revelation is a revealing of what? 09:39 Of Jesus Christ and those things 09:41 that are shortly to come to pass. 09:43 So devil says, I don't want Jesus revealed. 09:46 I don't want you to know things 09:48 are shortly going to come to pass. 09:49 But I believe by the Word of God 09:51 and His promises 09:53 that He's made to us. 09:54 He's going to reveal these things to us. 09:55 And we're going to... 09:57 We're going to be talking about the man 09:58 having the seal of the living God, 10:00 what does that mean? 10:01 Revelation Chapter 7, 10:02 we're going to begin with verse 1, 10:04 and 1 through 3. 10:05 There are some who maybe have never read this before, 10:07 I encourage you to read it now, contemplate on it, 10:10 and think on it. 10:11 Bible says, "And after these things, 10:13 I saw a four," what? 10:15 "Angels standing on the four corners 10:17 of the earth, 10:18 holding the four winds of the earth, 10:21 that the wind should not blow on the earth, 10:23 nor the sea, nor on any tree." 10:27 Remember, Revelation is a book of symbols, 10:29 isn't that right? 10:30 And we have to let the Bible interpret itself 10:32 rather than say, I think 10:34 they're things like, 10:36 you don't have to do that 10:37 God's not what He wants you to dig 10:38 into the Word of God here. 10:40 Verse 2, "I saw another angel," notice another angel, 10:43 "ascending from the east, 10:45 having the seal of the living God." 10:47 Somebody needs to pay attention. 10:50 There's an angel that's coming from God that says, 10:52 he has the seal of the living God. 10:55 What does that mean? 10:56 It must be important if it's coming from God, 10:58 isn't that right? 11:00 And notice, "He cried with a loud voice 11:01 to the four angels, 11:03 to whom was given to hurt the earth, 11:05 and, notice, and the sea." 11:07 And he says, verse 3, "Saying, hurt not the earth, 11:11 neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have done," what? 11:14 "Sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads." 11:19 Very interesting and certainly it goes on, 11:21 it talks about the 144,000 so on so forth, 11:23 which is another subject within itself. 11:27 We start out here with there's the four angels 11:29 the Bible says here. 11:31 What are they doing? 11:32 They're holding back the forces of evil 11:35 until God's people are sealed in their foreheads. 11:40 So remember, they're holding back right now, 11:42 that just simply says, 11:43 you look at the four corners of the earth, 11:45 you look at the compass 11:46 in north, south, east, and west, 11:47 God's saying, the whole world is involved here, 11:50 and He's in charge. 11:52 And He's saying, right now, you can't hurt the earth. 11:54 You can't finish this, you can't finish off 11:57 until God has sealed His servants 11:59 in their foreheads, 12:01 four winds, four destructive, 12:03 notice this, destructive forces there in verse 3, 12:07 we can see that. 12:08 Hurt not the earth 12:10 till the work is done. 12:14 What does that mean? 12:16 How deep does this really go? 12:18 Really, if you're looking for parallels, 12:20 and many of you are, 12:21 you know, in the Bible, you can go Daniel 7:2 12:24 and when you have time read that 12:25 because you have forces there that are striving, 12:29 the great nations would rise out of strife, 12:32 or the wind's blowing upon the sea, 12:34 that'd be another nation that would come up, 12:36 another nation. 12:38 But notice here, it says here, Great Controversy in 614 says, 12:41 "The whole world is going to be involved, 12:44 notice this, and there's going to be a time of trouble, 12:46 notice this, that comes upon the earth 12:49 that's worse than the destruction of Jerusalem 12:51 in AD 70. 12:53 That's hard for us to imagine. 12:55 And many people have not studied 12:57 to see what took place 12:58 in the destruction of Jerusalem in AD 70, 13:01 where it got so bad that mothers boiled 13:03 and ate their own children. 13:04 Is somebody with me? 13:05 See, that's something we don't want to think about. 13:07 We think it's not going to happen. 13:08 God says it's going to happen. 13:10 So we need some kind of experience, 13:12 maybe that we don't have right now. 13:14 Because with what little bit, I know, it's horrible. 13:17 Those of COVID different things are going on. 13:20 But we're just beginning I believe, 13:22 we're beginning that little time of trouble 13:24 that will increase to the big time of trouble. 13:28 Do we have a connection with God, 13:31 that we can stand through this by His grace and strength? 13:34 If not, we need to. 13:36 John the Revelator said, I saw another angel. 13:38 Wow. 13:40 And this angel came from the east, 13:41 do you notice that significance, 13:43 he having the seal of the living God. 13:45 If there's an angel from heaven 13:47 coming and have a seal of the living God, 13:49 I want to be first in line, 13:50 little bit selfish maybe. 13:52 I want to be in that line. 13:53 Because I'm telling you right now, 13:55 there are only two classes of people, 13:56 you've heard that all of your life, 13:58 the saved and the lost, right? 13:59 Good and evil. 14:01 And here you have the seal of the living God 14:04 against as it were the mark of the beast. 14:07 Did you get it? 14:08 You're either, you're going to have one or the other, 14:10 you choose what it's going to be. 14:11 You're going to have the mark of the beast, 14:13 and that's the third angel's message. 14:15 That's the wrath of God is going to fall on you, 14:17 right, without any kind of mercy. 14:19 We don't want that, we're going to be lost. 14:20 We don't want that. 14:22 I'm interested in the seal of God. 14:24 I'm interested in the approval of God. 14:27 And I'm not really interested in the approval of men 14:29 to be honest because usually, 14:30 they give you a bad deal. 14:33 Not always, but sometimes you get a rough deal 14:35 from even your fellow brother and sister. 14:38 Maybe I'll just leave it there, you've got the point. 14:42 In ancient times, you know when you talked about direction 14:45 is very important. 14:46 When anyone gave directions in ancient times, 14:48 you know what they did? 14:49 They always stood facing the east 14:52 and then they went from there. 14:54 So there's something important about that. 14:56 Maybe an example, 14:58 give you a quick example in Ezekiel. 14:59 You remember Ezekiel? 15:01 He saw the glory of God coming from the east. 15:05 Interesting what he saw there. 15:07 Ezekiel 43, just read the whole chapter 15:09 when you have time. 15:10 Matthew 24, I think it's about verse 30, 15:13 you see that the sign of Jesus will appear in the east. 15:17 There's something about all of this. 15:20 This angel came from the east 15:21 from the throne of God, notice this. 15:25 And, of course, Revelation 7:1 15:26 that we read tells of a sealing process. 15:30 Many people go 15:31 in a lot of different directions. 15:32 But let's go in the direction 15:34 that the Bible tells us to go in, 15:36 not what someone else wants it to be, 15:39 but what God says that it is. 15:42 God is preparing a people to stand 15:46 in this fearful and stressful time. 15:50 Even right now, it's stressful, isn't it? 15:53 Times at, oh, it's not stressful, 15:56 somebody is lying. 16:00 Even as a Christian, 16:01 you still have to look at it 16:03 because of what's coming in this world. 16:04 What's happening right now, 16:06 because many people are not ready for it. 16:08 And if you love them, 16:09 you might be stressed just a little bit 16:11 even though you cast your cares on Him 16:13 because He cares for us. 16:15 But still, you think in your heart 16:17 you love these individuals, 16:18 you hate to see them go through 16:20 what they're going through. 16:21 Even the people of God, a sealing process, 16:26 standing in a stressful time just before Jesus comes. 16:31 Now in ancient times, we need to look at 16:33 where this was written a seal. 16:36 It was simply to testify of ownership. 16:40 Interesting. A seal testified of what? 16:43 Good, of ownership. 16:45 The seal of God then placed on the forehead 16:48 of the people testified 16:50 that he recognizes them as his own. 16:54 That makes sense. 16:55 God's gonna have to recognize us as His own 16:57 before He opens the gates and says come on in. 17:00 He's not going to allow 17:01 something to come into the gates of the city 17:03 that's going to, right, tear the city apart. 17:05 He's not going to let sin enter there again. 17:09 So God places the seal of His people. 17:12 2 Timothy talks about that, 2:19, just jot that down. 17:16 2 Timothy 2:19. 17:18 I like the way it starts out. 17:20 He said the foundation of God standeth sure. 17:23 Did you get it? 17:25 The foundation of God does what? 17:27 Stand sure. 17:28 We don't need to be blown about by every wind of doctrine. 17:31 Some people are blown around because that's all they do 17:33 is just blow around. 17:36 Somebody, didn't make sense to you, did it? 17:39 We're always in everything except the Word of God. 17:41 We're worried about what Joe says over here 17:43 and what Sally says. 17:44 I hope there's no Joe and Sally, 17:45 but they're always worried 17:47 and they're taking somebody off the street. 17:50 They'd rather listen to them 17:52 that they had read the Word of God 17:53 and let the Word of God tell them what it is. 17:54 And then what? 17:56 If they're not to have that sure foundation, 17:57 they're going to be all messed up. 18:00 We have to have that sure foundation, 18:03 having the seal. 18:05 2 Timothy 2:19 says 18:07 the seal of the Lord, notice this. 18:12 And it says He knoweth who we belong to. 18:17 We belong to Him, hopefully. 18:21 So we look at this sign, 18:22 this seal of God's people in the last days, 18:25 and maybe this would teach us some things. 18:28 Because in the church sometimes we kind of believe that, 18:32 you know, if we're in good standing, 18:34 and we go to church all the time, 18:36 and we do some of the right things, 18:38 you know, we're going to receive 18:40 the seal of the living God. 18:42 That's kind of interesting. 18:44 Not everybody that's in good standing 18:46 in an earthly church 18:48 is going to make it to heaven. 18:52 So why is this subject so important? 18:54 Why is it life and death issue? 18:57 Remember, the Bible says so, because it's God's approval 19:01 or if you're going to be on God's side or the enemy? 19:05 Because eternity depends upon it. 19:09 Eternity depends upon the choice 19:11 and decision you make, 19:12 or I make right now. 19:14 And I just want to be just real plain and simple, 19:15 so we're not confused. 19:19 No one, no exceptions to the rule will enter heaven 19:24 who does not bear the sign of God. 19:27 No one, not trying to be smart or ugly about it, 19:31 but I've challenged your thinking. 19:33 No one will enter heaven that does not have the sign 19:37 or seal of God. 19:39 Interesting. 19:41 As many say it's an outward thing. 19:43 We're all going to see it people are going to read that, 19:44 blah-blah-blah. 19:46 Is that really what it's all about? 19:48 I found a little article in little Review and Herald, 19:50 little magazine said this. 19:52 "The seal of the living God will be placed upon those only 19:56 who bear the likeness to Christ in character." 20:00 Did somebody get it? 20:03 The seal of God will be placed upon those who what? 20:07 Bear a likeness to Christ's character. 20:11 As I grew up all the time, I always heard all the time. 20:13 They say, oh, he's quite the character. 20:17 He's quite the character. 20:19 That didn't always mean it was good. 20:21 He was quite the character. 20:22 That means that's what he did. 20:24 It was his life. That's what he said. 20:26 That's what he did. 20:27 That's what that's who he was. 20:29 That's his character. 20:31 But our character must be like Jesus. 20:33 Man, we can't do it on our own. 20:36 Man, we need some help, do we not? 20:38 We're failures, the Bible said, 20:40 we've all sinned and come short of the glory of God. 20:42 So if anybody sitting on a high horse, 20:44 I encourage you to get off of it. 20:47 Isn't that right? 20:49 There's no one in here any better than anybody else, 20:52 because we've all sinned and come short. 20:54 I don't care what you're doing right now 20:55 or what's happening in your life or my life, 20:57 whatever it might be. 20:59 We are a sinner, and we are in need of a Savior. 21:02 We're in need of the seal of the living God, 21:04 but He won't place it on us 21:07 until our character is what it should be. 21:10 Does that make sense? 21:12 He won't place it on us. 21:13 He's not trying to hide and cover-up sin, 21:15 He won't do it. 21:17 Seal of God, man. 21:20 My opinion and I always say throw it out if you want to 21:23 or throw it back or throw it around, 21:25 do whatever you want to do 21:26 but I think right here 21:27 many professing Christians today 21:30 is going to be disappointed in the day of God. 21:34 Now, why do I say that? 21:37 Well, simply because they do not have the seal. 21:39 They're not really finding out searching 21:41 what the seal of God is. 21:43 They really don't care about truth. 21:45 They simply said, oh... 21:46 Heard people say, just only believe 21:48 that's all you got to do. 21:49 Believe is an action word. 21:51 Does that make sense? 21:54 It's more than talk. 21:56 Well, I heard God say, well, 21:58 I believe there's a higher power. 22:00 Well, Me and Him have good talks together. 22:01 How wonderful that is. 22:05 We all have talks together. 22:07 It takes more than that. 22:10 I've mentioned one time before the man said 22:11 and he said honestly. 22:14 He said, God and I have. 22:18 Think about it. 22:19 He puts His understanding what he wants right here 22:21 in His Word, doesn't He? 22:23 He was trying to say, man, 22:24 God's bickered and talked a little bit 22:26 and we've worked out a deal. 22:27 No. 22:29 So then we look at what the seal of God, 22:30 the mark stands for character qualifications. 22:35 How is your character? 22:36 How's my character? How's my life? 22:37 How am I responding to everyday stress and things 22:40 that are going on in the world? 22:41 Am I a Christian one moment and a non-Christian 22:43 as it were the next? 22:45 Am I like who I'm with the crowd that I'm with 22:50 or am I consistent to be what Jesus wants me to be? 22:54 Remember, the seal we talk about 22:57 placed upon God's faithful. 22:59 Listen carefully, we try to go with is the pure mark of truth. 23:04 This is part of the pure mark of truth. 23:08 So it has to do something with truth. 23:10 John 17:17 says, "Sanctify them through," what? 23:14 "Thy word, thy truth, thy word is," what? 23:17 "Thy word is truth." 23:19 Sanctification or preparation for heaven 23:22 comes by knowing what is truth, not a lie. 23:27 Not it doesn't make any difference. 23:28 Tell me, you say, oh, it doesn't make any difference. 23:30 We're all trying to get to the same place 23:31 where everybody is going a different way. 23:34 There's only one way 23:36 based on the Word of God, it's His way. 23:38 I want that to make sense. 23:39 It's not our way, we don't negotiate with God. 23:42 God says this is the way it is. 23:43 He certainly have made a covenant 23:45 and promises with us. 23:47 But He says it takes two to work it out. 23:49 We just have to be obedient to what God says. 23:51 You want to come up to heaven, then there are some things, 23:54 right, that we need to get squared away here. 23:58 Mark of truth. 23:59 God's seal has three things in it, right? 24:03 Three things in his seal. 24:05 Now, think about it just for a moment. 24:08 It's interesting that the Sabbath 24:09 or the fourth commandment 24:11 has these three things in it. 24:13 It tells who God is. 24:16 It tells His ownership. 24:18 Just for instance, let me give you this example. 24:21 President of the United States seal, 24:23 what does it have? 24:25 Three things in it. 24:26 It has the name. 24:27 It has the title and the territory. 24:31 God, Creator, heaven, and earth, president. 24:36 All right, so it says could President Biden, 24:40 okay, it just, it brought silence, 24:42 but no, President Biden, 24:44 it's what it said and what is it? 24:46 Biden, President United States of America. 24:49 So it has to have, God's seal has to have that in it. 24:53 You know, the kings all did they seal it with a seal, 24:56 saying it's authentic. 24:59 Maybe we need that too, don't you think? 25:02 Now, remember, if you look at Ephesians Chapter 5, 25:05 just jot it down 27. 25:07 Five Testimonies 214, it says, notice the church says, 25:10 he's coming after church without what? 25:13 Spot or wrinkle or any such thing. 25:17 Isn't that interesting how people can just look it, 25:19 read that and just say, yeah, but I know, that we know. 25:24 I just kind of go like I am. 25:27 I've often said, remember, 25:28 "Will heaven be a better place if you go there today 25:32 or will it be a worse place? 25:34 Just like you are?" 25:35 Is that a fair question? 25:38 Sure. Will heaven be... 25:40 Listen, church, will heaven be a better place 25:43 if you could go right now? 25:45 Boom. 25:46 Would it be a better place or a worse place? 25:48 Most of us will say, "Oh, no, 25:51 there are some things that need to be worked out 25:52 in my character." 25:54 Then let's get working. 25:55 By the grace of God, 25:56 let the Holy Spirit come and say, 25:58 God, work these things out. 25:59 Give me the victory that I need. 26:00 I can't do it on my own. I'm a failure. 26:02 I need some help. 26:04 Because after all, Bible means what it says or it doesn't. 26:08 I'm coming after a church 26:09 that means the people, doesn't it? 26:11 Without spot or wrinkle or any such thing. 26:16 So the seal of God then is not placed 26:18 on the person with a spot or stain. 26:22 Wow! 26:23 How can that possibly be? 26:26 Let me just throw four important things out here 26:28 for you that may be... 26:30 I don't want to confuse you 26:32 but just food for those who have been studying 26:33 along these issues 26:35 because I'm looking for a time kind of a time frame, 26:38 when is this really taking place? 26:40 There's something way down the road, 26:41 or something's already passed, 26:43 or as God's saying right now, 26:44 this is where we're at right now in society today. 26:48 The seal of God is going to be given during the time, 26:50 how many have heard about the latter rain experience? 26:54 Yeah. 26:56 We're gonna have to have a latter rain experience. 26:58 That means some real changes, isn't that right, 27:00 that take place so that we can receive 27:02 the seal of the living God. 27:04 Seal of God's going to take place prior 27:07 to the close of probation. 27:09 I mean, how many times you hear that in the pulpit, 27:10 close of probation? 27:11 Somebody told me today, well, don't use that word 27:13 because people don't understand. 27:15 It was about time we did. 27:16 Is that okay? 27:18 I'm not trying to be ugly about it. 27:20 It's just like, why do people who supposedly believe like you 27:23 do make those kinds of comments? 27:27 You see, don't use that. 27:29 No, I can understand that, Terry. 27:31 I can understand when it says close of probation. 27:34 That means it's over with. 27:36 Your life is one like what? 27:38 No matter how long you live is the life of probation, 27:40 to see whether you're going to make heaven 27:42 your home or not. 27:43 Heaven or hell, you choose. 27:47 I mean, really, it's that simple 27:48 and we don't want to think that way. 27:52 The seal of God's going to be given to the time 27:55 when Christ is in the heavenly sanctuary, 27:56 He's blotting out our sins. 27:58 There's a difference in covering our sins 28:01 with the blood. 28:02 And then there's time of blotting out our sins 28:04 where He remembers them no more. 28:07 Remember in the earthly sanctuary 28:08 every day they killed animals, isn't that right? 28:10 And the blood is symbolically stored 28:11 in the earthly sanctuary, right? 28:13 And then once a year, it was what? 28:15 Sanctuary was cleansed. 28:17 This is what it's talking about the blotting time, 28:19 a cleansing time. 28:24 Well, Christ is working at the close of His ministry 28:27 as our high priest. 28:29 I don't think anybody would fight that. 28:31 Now let's go back and discover a few things here 28:33 quickly as we can here. 28:35 A little bit of a timeframe. 28:37 The sealing process takes place, 28:39 what's involved in it, 28:41 and the necessity of it. 28:44 Turn with me if you will in Revelation Chapter 5. 28:47 We'll go back a couple of chapters. 28:48 I think you'll see what, I mean you can't go through all of it. 28:50 You don't have time in one hour 28:53 unless you have two or three. 28:56 Well, I'll go back and just go on. 28:58 I say unless you have two or three 29:02 then we can, right, 29:03 there's more that can be discussed. 29:04 Revelation 5:1, what does the Bible say? 29:07 He said, "I saw in the right hand of him 29:09 that sat on the throne, 29:11 I saw a book written within and on the backside, 29:14 sealed with seven seals." 29:16 What do we see? 29:18 This begins to reveal some very important information 29:22 for us to look at here. 29:25 It involves the entire universe. 29:29 And the one who wins the great controversy 29:32 between good and evil. 29:33 This is very important to understand this, 29:35 it's very important, because who is worthy. 29:38 John begins to weep when he sees the scene. 29:42 If we had time, we'd read over, John begin to cry just, oh, 29:45 because he saw the book 29:46 and he be able to visually be able to solve 29:48 some of the things was written in the book. 29:50 And some of the things were written in the book, 29:51 to me, think about do some study on it. 29:54 He understood that mankind would take the life of Jesus. 29:58 He's able to reveal that, he saw in, 30:01 and then what happened to the churches 30:03 in the Book of Revelation are seven churches 30:05 representing seven different periods of earth's history. 30:09 And we are in the seventh church. 30:11 Isn't that right? Laodicea. 30:13 There's no more churches, 30:14 if you don't believe that the Lord is coming. 30:16 Come on. 30:17 They're seven seals, we're at the end of the sixth, 30:19 the beginning of the seventh, 30:20 Jesus comes, what more do we want? 30:23 You see these things are revealed to us 30:25 that we need to understand as we study these things. 30:29 Who's the winner in this great battle 30:31 between good and evil? 30:32 And now John says, who's worthy to open this book? 30:37 There's no one worthy to open this book. 30:40 Well, they're gonna do, the records, all the events, 30:43 everything that was supposed to transpire down the road, 30:46 we say in Bible prophecy. 30:50 There's no one to open the book, 30:52 mankind's going to be lost, the world will be lost. 30:55 No one can open this book. 30:57 And so he began to weep over it. 31:01 Then Jesus steps up, do you notice there in verse 1, 31:04 even it says right here. 31:06 "And I saw in the right hand of him 31:08 that sat on the throne." 31:10 Who is that? 31:11 Somebody said God. 31:13 God, the Father sitting on the throne, 31:14 he had this book, 31:16 and there's no one that can open it, 31:19 history of the world. 31:20 But up steps somebody, it says who? 31:23 Who is it? Jesus. 31:25 The Lamb steps up, 31:27 and He takes it from the hand of the Father. 31:29 And basically, what is He doing? 31:30 Remember, He gave his life 31:32 before the foundation of the world 31:35 that was already put into place if man should fall, 31:38 I will be the substitute. 31:40 Isn't that wonderful to know you have a substitute, 31:43 you have a surety 31:46 that Jesus takes your place because we failed, 31:49 we need a Savior. 31:50 He said I'll be there. 31:52 I'll do that. 31:54 Jesus then comes and He takes the book 31:56 out of the right hand of Him 31:57 who sat on the throne, the Bible says here. 32:02 Revelation 5:9 says, 32:04 notice this, how could Jesus do this? 32:08 Because verse 9 says, Revelation 5:9, He's worthy. 32:12 Come on somebody. He's what? 32:14 He's worthy. Why is He worthy? 32:16 Because He was the Lamb slain 32:18 from the foundation of the world. 32:20 Because of His blood, 32:21 He was worthy to take that scroll and unroll that scroll. 32:26 Wow, that's awesome. 32:30 The death of Christ would bring salvation to many. 32:35 And in turn, the character of God 32:37 would be vindicated. 32:40 Isn't that what part of the great controversy 32:41 is all about? 32:43 God needed us. 32:44 I said a couple of weeks ago, God needed you. 32:47 He needs me. 32:49 That sounds so strange. 32:50 What do you mean He needs us? 32:52 He's looking for a people 32:54 that will vindicate His character 32:55 because in heaven, God's character was challenged. 32:58 The enemy challenged, did he not? 33:00 God's character, said He wasn't fair. 33:02 He wasn't good. 33:03 And God said there'll be a people 33:06 that will bear My character in the last days. 33:08 I will identify them and I'll seal them. 33:12 Now if no one steps up, my, my, the world would be lost. 33:17 No one would be saved. 33:19 And John recognized this while he was crying, wow, 33:25 that's why I think in closing 33:26 we'll be singing victory in Jesus. 33:29 Yeah. 33:30 Think about victory in Jesus, my Savior forever. 33:34 And the Bible is clear about this victory in Jesus. 33:37 He wants the results. 33:38 It says they, these ones who gained the victory 33:41 they sing a new song. 33:42 Wow. They have a new what? 33:45 A new name. 33:47 They're going to live in the New Jerusalem, 33:49 ain't that wonderful? 33:51 When all things are made new, 33:52 did you get that, Revelation 21. 33:54 Read those, Revelation 21, Revelation 2, Revelation 3:12. 33:57 Read these things when you have time. 34:00 Now let's go to opening the seals 34:02 but now for time sake 34:05 because this pertains to us. 34:06 I want to go to the sixth seal. 34:10 How many seals are there? 34:12 Seven. 34:14 And if we're in the sixth, 34:15 does that say anything about how close we are 34:16 to the end of time possibly? 34:18 I think fairly we could say, 34:20 yeah, absolutely if there's only seven. 34:24 If we can establish on the Word of God, 34:26 we're between the end of the sixth 34:28 and one more left the seventh. 34:30 It tells us we need to be ready. 34:32 If you're trying to look for some kind of a chart 34:34 and say, Oh, are we that close? 34:37 Revelation Chapter 6, quickly, let's read verses 12 and 13. 34:40 Revelation 6:12-13, are you there? 34:44 Revelation 6:12-13. 34:47 Here's what the Bible says. 34:50 "And I beheld 34:51 when he had opened the sixth seal, 34:54 and lo, there was a great earthquake, 34:57 the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, 34:59 the moon became as blood, 35:01 notice, the stars of heaven," what? 35:04 "Fell to the earth, 35:05 even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, 35:08 when she is shaken by a mighty wind." 35:11 Something's going on here? 35:13 Do you notice he said, 35:14 the sixth seal then 35:15 there would be this that would take place in the world 35:18 that we could relate to the time frame of it? 35:22 Isn't that wonderful? 35:23 Most people don't read it. 35:24 They don't want to study it. 35:26 They're scared of it. Why? 35:27 Jesus revealed it in here. 35:28 Jesus spoke about these things. 35:31 Now notice, when we read this, it's just, is interesting to me 35:35 when we read it. 35:36 John said he beheld as the sixth seal was opened, 35:40 said there was a great what? 35:41 Keep in mind, earthquake, the sun became what? 35:44 Black as sackcloth of hair, the moon became as what? 35:47 Blood. 35:48 Verse 13, the stars of heaven fell. 35:50 So there be things that would happen in order 35:52 so you would know 35:53 because there were earthquakes before, 35:54 stars fell before, 35:56 but God said it's gonna be like this 35:58 so that you can't get confused. 36:00 Man, if you look back, you can follow 1755, 36:03 November 1st, 1755 was the day the earthquake 36:08 that was followed by the darkening of the sun. 36:12 No other time had been done that 36:13 so we have to look at it closely. 36:14 The Lisbon earthquake 36:16 shook over 4 million square miles. 36:18 I mean, there's something we have to think about here. 36:21 Jesus even spoke about this. 36:22 You remember in Matthew 24:7, He said there'd be famine 36:26 and there had to be pestilence, and then they would be what? 36:29 Earthquakes. 36:32 Jesus talked about it Himself as a sign of His coming 36:35 and yet we read it and we just say, well, 36:37 well be careful, Kenny, 36:39 he didn't know what he was talking about. 36:41 If we ignore it, that's exactly what we're saying. 36:44 Is that okay? 36:46 If we ignore what He says, we what? 36:49 We've thrown Him out. 36:50 We've closed the door on the one that says Kenny, 36:52 I don't want you to miss this. 36:55 So he said those things would take place 36:57 before but when you see these back to back like 37:00 I'm talking about here, 37:02 then you're going to know under the sixth seal. 37:06 So we could know His coming is near even at the door. 37:09 Matthew 24:29, you can read it, Great Controversy, 334. 37:14 You can read all of these things 37:16 and know His coming is near. 37:19 Wow! 37:20 Then it says the sun became what? 37:23 Black. 37:25 Isn't that interesting? 37:27 Do you realize that day was recorded in history 1780, 37:31 May the 19th, 1780. 37:34 Remember, it's following in succession. 37:36 First was 1755. 37:38 Five years later, we had the darkening what? 37:41 Oh, the sun. 37:43 And then it said by side that 37:45 that then there we have the moon 37:47 became as blood, interesting, verse 13. 37:51 Then it said the stars of what? 37:53 Heaven fell. 37:55 We know that recorded in history, 1833. 37:58 So we can put it in a time frame here like that. 38:01 Then the sixth seal, you have, you all read in 1833. 38:06 Go into the end, Jesus has given us time. 38:09 And notice after that 1833 Jesus says something, 38:14 remember as the scroll what? 38:17 Unrolls, Revelation 6:14, 38:21 he says that the powers of heaven 38:23 shall be shaken. 38:25 Now, remember, when Jesus spoke 38:26 of the powers of heaven to be shaken, 38:28 He was talking about powers of heaven, 38:30 not the ones of earth. 38:32 But notice that that's not happened yet. 38:35 That is yet in the future. 38:38 But right after that, what happens? 38:40 Matthew 24:30, says what? 38:42 "Then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven, 38:46 coming in the clouds of heaven 38:48 with great power and great glory." 38:50 You can see here and you're saying, 38:51 well, that's a lot of time in between those things. 38:53 Thank God for time, who's just merciful to us. 38:56 We need it. 38:58 If God's people were ready, He would come. 39:01 We're not ready. 39:02 If we were ready He would come. 39:05 There are other decisions yet to be made. 39:07 Evidently, we're going to have to be tested and tried. 39:11 This world is in a mess. 39:13 The Bible talks about kings and the great men 39:15 and the rich men and the mighty men 39:17 and the bond, 39:19 they begin to cry out with this question, 39:21 why go back and talk about 39:22 a little bit of just touching on the edges 39:24 of some of this stuff right here. 39:25 Because in Revelation 6:17, they asked it quiet, 39:29 things that's going on in the world, 39:31 right where we're at right now 39:32 that men are scratching their head and say, 39:34 we don't know what in the world is going on right now. 39:36 And they begin to cry out because they're getting so bad, 39:38 who shall be able to stand? 39:40 Is somebody with me? 39:42 The question is asked, who shall be able to stand, 39:45 and then God goes back to Revelation Chapter 7, 39:47 said, here's the people that will stand. 39:49 These are one I'm going to get the seal of the living God, 39:51 this is how I'm gonna put my approval upon them, 39:53 and I'll tell you about them. 39:55 So between the sixth and the seventh, 39:57 Revelation Chapter 7 seals, Revelation 7 is put in there. 40:03 And then Revelation 8, the seventh seal is opened. 40:08 This is so important that a whole chapter 40:10 is dedicated to it. 40:13 Remember, the sixth, the seals, 40:17 all, they show a different phase 40:19 of the great controversy 40:21 that's going in going on between Christ and Satan. 40:25 Now, Chapter 7 reveals and answers the question 40:30 who shall be able to stand? 40:33 Let's check it out, shall we? 40:35 Now remember Nine Testimonies when you read it right there, 40:37 you know and I know, 40:39 it said great changes are soon to take place. 40:42 Hello, great, what? 40:45 Great changes I'll say, 40:46 can't tell me in the last year and a half 40:48 there hadn't been some great changes. 40:51 And this is just the beginning, what do you call, 40:53 the end of iceberg, 40:54 the beginning of tip of the iceberg. 40:57 This is just the tip of it. 40:58 The way things are going to get according to Bible prophecy, 41:01 Lord have mercy. 41:02 We need a Savior. 41:03 Man, we need some outside help. 41:05 We need some power. 41:07 We need some wisdom that we don't have. 41:10 And then we continue to read 41:12 that one of the quotes everybody knows 41:14 the last movements will be what? 41:16 Will be rapid ones, we know that. 41:18 Little book I read a lot about Education, 41:20 page 179, 180, just powerful. 41:24 It says, "Angels are now," notice this, 41:26 "restraining the winds of strife." 41:28 What did we read in Revelation 7? 41:31 The four angels are doing what? 41:33 Yeah, they're holding back the winds of strife, 41:36 "That the winds may not blow," 41:38 come on now, "until the world 41:39 shall be warned of the coming doom, 41:43 but a storm is gathering, 41:46 ready to burst upon the world, 41:49 when God should bid His angels loose the winds," 41:52 come on church, listen carefully. 41:55 It says here, notice it, 41:56 "a scene of strife that no pin can picture." 42:01 You can't even write about it. 42:03 It's too much. 42:04 So see what God is saying hold back the winds. 42:08 Again that's war, that's bloodshed. 42:10 That's all thing that turmoil going on in the world. 42:13 We're seeing it now a lot of different ways. 42:15 Nations are speaking out like 42:16 they never spoke in a long time. 42:18 Basically, they're saying won't you try us. 42:21 If you lay hands over here, 42:23 we're going to show you what we can do 42:24 and we're saying back we'll show you what we can do. 42:27 That's pretty much paraphrased, is that not true? 42:29 Wars and rumors of wars. 42:31 We don't want to see that, what if it takes place? 42:34 Our world will be changed in such a way you think 42:36 the trucking thing right now is an issue. 42:39 You think the shipping thing is an issue right now. 42:41 There'll be duck soup compared 42:42 to what we're going to be looking at. 42:44 We'll be worried about our bread 42:45 and our water which God says 42:46 is going to be sure if you're one of His, 42:49 if He recognizes you and He'd say, 42:50 I know you, here's My seal. 42:53 I recognize you. 42:55 Remember what He says to some of those? 42:57 Depart from Me you workers of iniquity. 42:58 I don't know you. 42:59 Have we not cast out demons 43:01 and done mighty amount of works in Thy name. 43:03 He said I don't know. 43:05 Well, what do you mean? We've done mighty works. 43:06 We've cast out demons. 43:07 We've done all kind of, we've helped the poor, 43:09 we spent all of our lives." 43:10 He said, "I still don't know you." 43:12 There's more than just working. 43:14 You can't work your way into heaven. 43:16 You can't just keep the law of God we say 43:19 and that's going to be make us to heaven. 43:20 No, we're saved by grace through faith. 43:22 But God has given us 10 commands 43:25 and He expects us to be obedient 43:26 to those things. 43:29 Remember, it's more than just talking, 43:30 oh, I love Jesus. 43:31 Really, if you love Jesus, 43:33 then you'd be willing to do this, right? 43:35 They're saying today if you really love your job, 43:37 you'll do this, 43:38 'cause you want to keep it, come on. 43:40 Audrey, you know that firsthand. 43:42 Work in a hospital you get fired 43:44 because you don't want to take the vaccine. 43:47 You think it's bad now, hang on to your hat. 43:51 I don't like to say that. 43:52 You like smooth things and you'll go, would say, 43:54 oh, I don't want to hear. 43:56 Somebody says oh, here he goes again. 43:58 Yes, that's right. 43:59 Now I'm gonna keep going again. 44:01 Right. 44:02 The winds are blowing on this country 44:04 on this world right now. 44:06 Strife, we need to be ready. 44:09 Angels of God, remember those 44:14 who receive the seal of the living God 44:16 will have their passport 44:18 through the gates of the city of God. 44:21 Do you know how wonderful that is? 44:24 Let's quickly go. 44:25 You remember, you say, well, I don't know about that? 44:28 You know the Israelites, right? 44:30 You know, right? 44:31 God said let the people go the Israelites the firstborn, 44:34 you remember that? 44:35 How were they saved? 44:37 They went through where angel went, right? 44:39 God went first, they put blood over the doorpost, 44:42 you remember that? 44:44 They seal the house 44:46 with the blood of Jesus, isn't that right? 44:49 Your house should be sealed with the blood of Jesus. 44:52 And when the death angel comes as it were, 44:54 and problems in the world today, 44:56 that wicked angel that wants to come and destroy 44:58 you can't do it. 45:00 He can't do it. 45:01 The blood of Christ 45:03 but we've got to be able to by faith put that there, 45:05 and certainly hope. 45:07 But you know what? 45:08 Nowadays we must do it according to God's way, 45:12 God's time. 45:15 Israelites place that over the doors. 45:17 Do you know what it was? 45:19 It was a signature. 45:20 God owns His home. 45:22 Do you think the enemy dares? 45:24 No. 45:26 He was thrown out once, he'd be thrown out again. 45:29 He'd been thrown out many times. 45:30 Isn't that right? 45:32 Somebody should jump over a pew almost, 45:34 that's so exciting, right? 45:36 He's been thrown out of your life many times too, 45:38 isn't that right? 45:39 We owe God, because the signature 45:41 God has signed His name on you and on me. 45:45 We're God's property is so good. 45:49 Today's the same. 45:50 Remember, we have to have the signature of God 45:53 in His appointed way. 45:54 And you know what it is? 45:56 He said, "If you place yourself in harmony 45:59 with My laws and My ways, 46:02 I'll be able to seal you." 46:04 Seal for eternity or to be lost, 46:06 you have to choose, I'll choose. 46:08 A mark is going to be placed on every one of His people, 46:12 just as the mark was placed 46:13 over the doors of the Hebrews home. 46:18 That mark would preserve the people 46:20 from the general ruin at that time and for us today 46:23 as the destroying angel went by. 46:25 Remember God goes by and marks, He marks His people first. 46:31 And then the destroying angel comes 46:33 after just like it did in Israel. 46:35 And they see the blood, they have to go on. 46:38 There's nothing else they can do. 46:39 Do you have that blood over the doorposts 46:41 of your home? 46:42 Do I have? 46:43 And notice how God says here's how he's doing. 46:45 He said I've got a sign and seal on My people. 46:47 You can either buy it, you can accept it, 46:48 you can reject it, you can throw it out. 46:50 This is what the Word of God says 46:51 in Exodus 31:12-13. 46:53 Do you know what God says? 46:55 The sign right now for the Christian world 46:56 when He looked at it, 46:58 He said, I gave them My Sabbath 47:00 to be a sign between me and them 47:02 that they might know that I am the Lord 47:04 that sanctifies them. 47:06 There's nothing wrong with that. 47:08 There's only one that can sanctify us, 47:10 isn't that right? 47:11 That's Jesus Christ our Lord and our Savior. 47:13 He says the sign, I gave them My Sabbath, 47:15 which is Sabbath is a sign of what? 47:18 He is our creator. 47:20 Isn't that wonderful? 47:21 Creator, Redeemer, and Sustainer, 47:24 it's a beautiful thing 47:26 when you look in the Word of God. 47:28 We have the audacity we think that 47:30 we can look at God's Ten Commandments 47:31 and we can all of sudden 47:33 just take out one if we don't like it 47:35 and add another if we like it, No. 47:38 The seal of God is not anything that we can hear, 47:43 but listen carefully not anything 47:45 that can be seen with the human eye 47:47 but it's settling into the truth 47:50 both intellectually and spiritually. 47:53 Settling into what? The truth. 47:56 Notice, and just as soon 47:57 as God's people are still in the forehead, 47:59 notice this, there's going to be a shaking. 48:02 There's a shaking going on right now. 48:04 The churches need to be going through shaking right now. 48:06 The churches need to be shook up right now. 48:09 The world's calling about woke up, I'm tired of that. 48:12 Okay. 48:13 I better leave it there, I get in trouble. 48:17 Something needs to be going on in the churches today. 48:20 It's coming in and just you know, 48:22 just blah-blah, you know, something's going on. 48:24 Jesus is telling you something's going on. 48:27 The judgments of God are falling in the land 48:29 everything that you see, 48:31 the enemy says hey, I'm the ruler of this, 48:33 the prince of this world and blah-blah. 48:36 Insurance company says blow away 48:38 100 people and billions of dollars there, 48:40 well, it's God, act of God. 48:43 No, that's a lie of the devil. 48:44 It's... 48:46 Is it okay to get into there? 48:47 It's a devil. 48:49 It's the enemy. 48:50 God would not do that. 48:52 He allows it to happen. 48:54 These judgments that are falling 48:55 in the land today are just wake-up signs, 48:58 warning signs to us today of the coming of Jesus. 49:03 New Testament in Ephesians 1:13. 49:05 Let's go quickly. 49:07 Ephesians 1:13 says this, "In whom ye also trusted, 49:10 after ye heard the word of truth, 49:14 the gospel of your salvation," 49:16 notice, "in whom also after that 49:18 ye believed you were sealed," what? 49:21 "With the Holy Spirit of promise." 49:23 Did you notice how it went here? 49:25 You trusted to Him, you heard the word of truth, 49:28 you hear the truth or the gospel, 49:31 you hear salvation that God offers to us, 49:34 and then you believed it, and after you believed it, 49:37 then you're sealed by the Holy Ghost. 49:40 Isn't that wonderful? 49:41 But believing and receiving means 49:43 you act it out in your life 49:44 by the grace and power of God. 49:48 Man, do you remember this in Ezekiel 9:2-5? 49:52 I'm not gonna read all that. 49:53 But the man with the writers' inkhorn. 49:56 Do you remember that on his side? 49:58 He was clothed in linen, 49:59 the man was called to go you remember that? 50:02 To the midst of the city, 50:04 and to set a mark on the foreheads of those 50:06 who sigh and cry for the abominations 50:08 that be done, you remember that? 50:12 Think of that with me. 50:14 And he said, destroy those who do not have the mark, 50:18 sign, and seal of God's people. 50:20 And it said slay utterly young and old. 50:24 Man, we realize that applied to Jerusalem 50:29 destruction in AD 70, 50:30 but more so even in our time right now. 50:33 God's telling us right now. 50:34 God gave Moses now stay with me. 50:36 God gave Moses on Sinai, two tables of testimony, 50:39 you remember that? 50:41 Yeah, tables of stone, written with the finger of God. 50:45 Two tables of what? 50:46 Testimony, tables of stone, written with the finger of God, 50:50 Exodus 31:18. 50:51 And the tables, now notice this, 50:53 and the tables were the Word of God, 50:54 who's going to fight that? 50:57 Anybody wants to fight it stand up. 51:01 You don't want to fight. 51:02 The Bible says and the tables were the Word of God. 51:05 And the writing was the writing of God, 51:08 well, it can't be bad then. 51:09 It was graven upon tables of stone, you like that? 51:13 Exodus 32:16 and what does God say on that? 51:16 He said, "Verily My Sabbath you shall keep." 51:20 And then He goes on and says Exodus 31:14, 51:23 "Everyone that defileth 51:24 it shall surely be put to death." 51:27 Man, we've got to put it together. 51:28 Time's running out. 51:30 You'll say well, but sin, sin, what are they? 51:32 1 John 3:4, 51:33 "Sin is the transgression of God's," what? 51:36 Put it together. 51:37 "Sin is the transgression of God's law." 51:39 The wages of sin, Romans what is it, 6:23, 51:42 "Wages of sin is," what? 51:43 "Death." 51:45 You might say, oh, yes, praise God. 51:46 That's good but you know, we're under grace. 51:48 Well, praise God for grace. 51:51 But grace is not a license to sin. 51:53 God said no, so what shall we say? 51:56 The Bible says that. 51:57 Romans 6:1-2, "What shall we say then? 52:00 Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound?" 52:03 Verse 2, "God forbid." 52:05 Did you get it? 52:07 God makes it very clear to us. 52:09 Remember, if there is no law, 52:11 and you say the law has been done away with, 52:13 then there's no transgression, 52:14 go out and party friend, go out and party. 52:18 You know, I don't want you to do that. 52:20 I'm just saying, if there's no law, 52:21 there's no transgression. 52:23 Read that in Romans 4:15. 52:25 It says, "By the law is the," what? 52:28 "The knowledge of sin." 52:29 The law doesn't save you, 52:31 but it points out what sin is, and points you to the Savior, 52:33 isn't that wonderful? 52:34 Romans 3:20, just read it. 52:37 No person can be justified by keeping the law, 52:41 or by the deeds of the law for Romans 3:24 said, 52:44 "Being justified," what? 52:46 "Freely by his grace through the redemption 52:49 that is in Jesus Christ." 52:50 Remember this, the Lord does not save sinners 52:54 by abolishing His law, 52:56 which is the foundation of His government 52:58 in heaven and earth, 53:01 for the punishment has been met. 53:03 It's been endured by our substitute. 53:06 Praise God for that, Jesus Christ, our atonement. 53:10 That's called justification by faith, 53:12 isn't that wonderful to have that? 53:14 God gave His people a mark of distinction. 53:19 A signature of God. 53:21 Let's make this clear, Manuscript 27, 1899. 53:25 Those who would have the seal of God, 53:28 let's just get down to it. 53:31 Is that okay? 53:32 Let's put it down in case somebody said now, 53:34 wait a minute here. 53:36 That's okay, you can say, listen here, here it says, 53:38 "If we would have the seal of God in our foreheads, 53:40 we must keep the Sabbath of the fourth commandment. 53:43 This is what distinguishes his people from the disloyal, 53:47 who accept a man-made institution 53:50 in the place of the true Sabbath. 53:52 The observance of God's rest day 53:54 is the mark of distinction 53:55 between him that serve God and him that serveth Him not." 53:59 Signs of Times, May 6, 1897 said, 54:02 "Satan's plan is to make of no account 54:04 the day that God instituted." 54:05 Does that make sense? 54:07 "And given to the world as a memorial to creation." 54:10 He created the world in six days, 54:12 He set aside the seventh day 54:13 so that we remember who the creator is. 54:15 If we do not honor the seventh day Sabbath, 54:17 we forget that He is the creator, 54:19 though you could be serving any kind of God. 54:22 Well, be careful now. 54:23 Historical Sketches, 217, 54:25 there is a mark placed upon God's people. 54:28 That mark is keeping the Sabbath day holy. 54:32 The Bible said in Revelation 14:12, 54:34 come on, let's end up with this. 54:35 We've got a minute or so, 54:37 somebody should stand and shout. 54:38 The Bible said, Here is the patience. 54:41 Here's the patience of the saints. 54:43 Here are they that keep the commandments of God 54:47 and have the what? 54:48 Faith of Jesus Christ. 54:50 That's what the Bible said. 54:51 Don't try to change it, 54:53 because it doesn't fit your lifestyle 54:54 and it didn't fit my life. 54:56 Don't try to change it. 54:57 He said here it is. 54:59 His member interrupted things that are going on in the seals 55:00 and he said right now there is a people 55:03 that I had seal of the living God, 55:04 but they must be obedient to all 10 of the commandments 55:07 by My grace and by My strength. 55:10 You can't just say oh, no, 55:12 we don't have to keep the fourth one, is that really? 55:15 Is it okay to kill? 55:16 Is it okay to commit adultery? Is it okay? 55:18 You say, oh, we can't do that. 55:19 It's against the law. What's law? 55:20 God's law. 55:22 James 2:10, "If you offend in one point, 55:24 you're guilty of all." 55:25 It's time, now the dust goes away 55:27 and the dirt goes away. 55:29 And we come out and say God has a sign 55:31 and seal of His people in the last days. 55:33 It is the seventh day Sabbath.
