00:15 "Dark Deeds of Antichrist Revealed." 00:19 Now, folks, want you to look at this 00:22 because even though this, you know, it looks good, 00:24 it's a great opening graphic, doesn't really tell the truth. 00:30 You got a person there who looks a real nasty person. 00:35 But the antichrist doesn't look like a nasty person. 00:39 He is beautiful to behold and he is charming, 00:44 and he says lots and lots of good things. 00:48 But today, we gonna tell you 00:50 how the antichrist in the church 00:53 has actually challenged God old mighty 00:57 by changing the law of God. 01:02 Now, before we talk about this one, 01:04 I want to talk about something that's even more important. 01:06 I want to talk about, "how can we be saved 01:09 and go at last to heaven?" 01:12 Because somebody is going to come to me 01:13 after this meeting today, and they're going to say, 01:17 you don't need to keep God's law anymore 01:20 because we're just saved by grace. 01:22 And the grace of God has abolished the law of God. 01:26 But we're going to see today 01:28 that the antichrist has deceived 01:30 almost the whole wide world. 01:31 Come with me in the Bible 01:33 to the Book of Ephesians 2:8-10, 01:38 dear hearts and gentle people. 01:40 Ephesians Chapter 2 01:43 and verses 8-10, you got it. 01:49 The Bible says, "For by grace you have been saved 01:52 through faith, and that not of yourselves, 01:57 it is the gift of God, not of works, 02:01 lest anyone should boast. 02:04 For we are His workmanship, 02:05 created in Christ Jesus for good works, 02:09 which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them." 02:14 We've got three tremendously important words here. 02:18 And the first word is the word, grace. 02:21 The Bible says we're saved by grace. 02:23 We're not saved by our righteousness 02:26 or by our goodness or by our success. 02:31 The Bible says we're saved by grace. 02:33 Grace is another name or another word for mercy. 02:39 Then the Bible says you're saved by grace 02:41 but through or by faith. 02:44 Now, what is faith? 02:47 The Bible tells me grace first, then secondly faith. 02:51 Faith is what you have when you get on a plane 02:58 and you see the captain get on the plane. 03:03 And people tell me who are unbelievers, 03:05 "I can't believe in faith." 03:07 Every time you get on a plane, 03:09 you're showing faith in the person 03:11 who is flying the plane. 03:13 Faith means trust or reliance. 03:16 We're saved by God's grace demonstrated in Christ, 03:20 and we rely upon it by the act of faith." 03:25 But the Bible says not by works. 03:28 You can't be saved by your works. 03:30 For the simple reason, you can't do enough works 03:33 in order to merit the God and to merit God's favor, 03:38 therefore we're saved by grace through faith, 03:42 not by works. 03:44 But the Bible does say, 03:47 we were created in God to do good works, 03:51 so while we are not saved by our works, 03:55 or our commandment keeping, 03:58 works are the fruitage 04:01 of a true relationship with God. 04:04 So by grace through faith, not by works, 04:09 but the works are going to come. 04:13 I was reading sometime ago about Armenian family, 04:16 lived about 100 years ago. 04:18 And this was the time of the terrible atrocities 04:20 took place in that part of the Middle East. 04:26 The family, father, mother, 04:30 two sons and two daughters 04:33 were taking captive. 04:37 The father and mother was shot in front of the family, 04:43 then the two sons. 04:46 The girls were given away to the soldiers. 04:49 The Turkish captain kept the prettiest, 04:53 the oldest girl for himself. 04:57 Her virtue was blasted by his lust. 05:04 She escaped and found refuge in a British hospital, 05:07 for refugees. 05:09 They trained her to become a nurse. 05:11 One night she was walking down the ward, 05:14 holding up the lantern 05:16 and the light of the lantern flashed upon her face 05:19 that was so familiar, that terrified her. 05:23 There was the face of the Turkish captain. 05:30 Later on she told of the struggle 05:32 went on her soul. 05:35 She didn't have to kill him with the bare hands. 05:37 She need only be in attentive, he is so close to death, 05:42 but she nursed him back to life, 05:44 to strength and health 05:46 until the doctors marveled at her devotion. 05:50 And when he was recovered, 05:53 they brought the Turkish captain, 05:55 this young Armenian girl. 05:59 His family had been destroyed, her virtue had been blasted 06:05 and the British doctor said, captain but for this girl, 06:08 you would have been dead. 06:11 He went white. 06:14 When the doctor left he hissed at her, 06:16 why didn't you kill me? 06:19 She said because I belong to the religion of him who said 06:23 love your enemies, 06:25 because hatred cannot be healed by hatred 06:30 and vice by vice. 06:34 He said I would like to know more of such a religion, 06:39 because it is not in my religion. 06:43 And what did she show to this man 06:45 who deserved hell? 06:46 She showed him grace, she showed him mercy. 06:51 And because of her faith, 06:54 she showed him works of love and compassion. 06:59 So that's the first great truth, 07:01 we're not saved by the law of God, 07:03 we are saved by grace through faith 07:07 to do good works. 07:10 Here is the next truth, listen to this. 07:13 God's law is sacred 07:17 and eternal. 07:21 Did you get that? 07:22 God's law is sacred and eternal. 07:24 Turn in the Bible please to Romans 3:31, my friends. 07:31 Romans 3 that talks about grace and faith. 07:36 The great Apostle Paul, 07:37 the great exponent of the gospel says, 07:40 "Do we then make void the law through faith? 07:43 Certainly not! 07:44 On the contrary, we establish the law. 07:48 Now everybody look at me, the television audience, 07:52 we're saved by the grace of God, 07:55 but we're not saved to break the law of God, 07:57 by the grace of God, we're saved to keep the law of God. 08:01 And the Bible says that the holy law of God 08:04 is established through faith in Jesus Christ, 08:07 never forget it. 08:10 And today, we're gonna talk about 08:12 how the great antichrist church 08:17 actually changed the law of God 08:21 and deceived the whole wide world 08:24 and continues to do so. 08:26 Now, we're gonna have a review of the last program 08:30 about the antichrist. 08:32 This is especially for those who missed it last week. 08:35 Last week, we took you to the prophecy, 08:37 and we're gonna do this very fast. 08:38 Not trying to prove anything at this point. 08:41 Last week, we went to Daniel 7. 08:44 And there we saw the four great monarchies of the world. 08:47 The lion which was Babylon 08:52 and the bear which was Medo-Persia. 08:55 And then you had the leopard with four wings 08:58 which was Greece, 09:00 and then you had this awful monster 09:03 that has 10 horns. 09:06 You remember this. 09:08 Now we proved it to you last week, 09:10 this is not sectarianism, 09:13 this is not the teaching of some cult. 09:17 This is history. This is Bible prophecy. 09:22 Two and half thousand years ago, 09:24 the Prophet Daniel in the city of Babylon 09:27 spoke about Babylon, followed by Medo-Persia, 09:31 followed by Greece, and followed by-- 09:35 Yeah, tell me. 09:36 The iron monarchy of Rome, and this power has ten horns 09:42 that are representative of the ten kings of Europe. 09:46 This is not trying to prove it to you, 09:48 we did this last week. 09:50 Now, I'm gonna give you some points 09:52 to identify the antichrist 09:54 and this is simply a review of the last meeting. 09:58 Number one, the antichrist is a counterfeit 10:03 and the text is 2 Thessalonians 2, 10:06 please turn fast to these texts. 10:08 I've got so many good things 10:10 and amazing things to tell you today. 10:13 2 Thessalonians Chapter 2 in the holy scriptures 10:18 and verses 3 and 4. 10:20 Have you got the text, my friends? 10:23 Listen. 10:24 "Let no one deceive you by any means, for that Day, 10:29 the coming of Christ, will not come 10:31 unless the falling away comes first, 10:35 falling from the truth, and the man of sin is revealed, 10:39 the son of perdition who opposes and exalts himself 10:42 above all that is called God or that is worshipped." 10:45 So that he sits as God, where? 10:49 The Bible says in the temple of God, 10:52 taking to himself the prerogatives of God. 10:56 Number one, 10:58 the antichrist is a counterfeit, 11:00 and the antichrist is found in the church. 11:04 Not in the Kremlin, 11:06 even though that has been an antichristian power, 11:09 maybe not so today. 11:11 But in the days of the communist 11:13 it certainly was. 11:14 But the Bible says, number one, 11:16 the antichrist is a great pseudo Christian power 11:21 and he wasn't like the man, on the title page, 11:27 that we put up on the screen there. 11:29 He doesn't look like a monster. 11:33 He's the copy of Jesus Christ 11:36 and says all the right things at all the right time. 11:40 He sits in the church. Number two, he is European. 11:46 Come back now to the great prophecy 11:48 of Daniel 7, 11:49 and Jesus said we ought to study 11:51 and understand this prophecy. 11:52 Daniel 7:8, "I was considering the horns, 11:57 the kings of Europe, and there was another horn, 12:00 a little one, coming up among them, 12:04 before whom three of the first horns 12:07 were plucked up by the roots. 12:09 And there, in this horn, 12:10 were eyes like the eyes of a man, 12:12 and a mouth speaking pompous words." 12:15 Verse 24, "The ten horns are ten kings 12:19 who shall arise from this kingdom, 12:21 the Roman kingdom. 12:24 And another shall rise after them, 12:26 He shall be different from the first ones, 12:28 he shall subdue three kings." 12:32 So every commentator who knows anything at all 12:38 has recognized the fourth beast is the Roman beast 12:43 and the ten horns are the kings of Europe 12:46 and antichrist comes up out of those ten horns, 12:49 therefore the antichrist is a European king. 12:55 The antichrist is not found in America or in China, 13:01 but he is found in Europe, and he comes up after 500 AD, 13:07 because the ten horns was settled 13:10 by around the year 500 AD. 13:14 Look at Daniel 7:24. 13:17 We're repeating some of these texts 13:20 and there's a purpose for it. 13:21 "The ten horns are ten kings 13:24 who shall arise from this kingdom. 13:27 And another shall rise after them, 13:30 He shall be different from the first ones, 13:33 And he shall subdue three kings." 13:38 The text says he shall rise, look at it. 13:42 He shall rise after them. 13:46 So he comes up as the world power 13:48 after 500 AD. 13:50 Point number four, the antichrist, 13:52 this religious king in Europe overthrows three kings. 13:57 Daniel 7:8, "He overthrows three kings." 14:02 I was considering the horns, 14:04 kings that came out of Europe, out of Rome. 14:07 And there was another horn, a little one, 14:10 coming up among them, 14:12 before whom three of the first horns 14:15 were plucked up by the roots. 14:17 And there, in this horn, 14:18 were eyes like the eyes of a man, 14:20 and a mouth speaking pompous words." 14:23 History tells me that when the great church 14:30 of Rome arose, 14:34 on the ruins of the Roman Empire, 14:36 there were three powers that withstood Him. 14:41 The Heruli, the Vandals, and the Ostragoths, 14:46 this is history. 14:49 Now point number five, the Bible tells me 14:53 the antichrist is greater than any other king in the world. 14:58 Look at Daniel 7:20, 15:03 "The ten horns that were on its head, 15:07 and the other horn which came up, 15:10 before which three fell namely, that horn which had eyes 15:14 and a mouth which spoke pompous words, 15:17 whose appearance", what does it say? 15:20 "Was greater than his fellows. 15:25 So here is a king, a religious king 15:27 who is in the church, who comes up after 500 AD. 15:32 He is a European king. 15:34 He starts small but the Bible says, 15:36 he becomes the greatest king in all the world, 15:40 he is greater than the other kings, his fellows. 15:44 And he is, point number six, he is different. 15:48 Look at Daniel 7:24. 15:51 Daniel 7:24, "The ten horns are ten kings 15:56 who shall arise from this kingdom, 15:58 the Roman kingdom. 15:59 And another shall rise after them, 16:01 He shall be different from the first ones, 16:05 And shall subdue three kings." 16:07 The Bible says, this king shall be different 16:11 and the reason this king is different, my friends, 16:15 is because he is more than a apolitical king, 16:20 he is a religious king, 16:23 and he sits in the temple of God 16:26 and he is so beguiling, 16:31 so seductive, 16:34 that virtually the whole world bows down to him 16:36 and follows him in whatever he says. 16:39 And they bow down because they are, 16:42 pardon my saying this, 16:43 they are grossly ignorant of the Word of God. 16:48 And so we're here today 16:50 because we don't care about what you are to say. 16:53 We don't care about what preacher say, 16:55 we're very interested in what the Word of God says. 16:58 Amen. You hear this. 17:00 So he is different. 17:01 Now number seven, number 7, got to keep going, 17:04 Daniel 7:25, "He shall speak pompous words 17:07 against the Most High, 17:09 Shall persecute the saints of the Most High, 17:12 And shall intend to change times and law. 17:15 Then the saints will be given into his hand 17:17 for a time and time and half a time." 17:20 We proved you last week that the time, 17:23 times and half a time symbolize three and a half years 17:28 or 1260 days and these are prophetic days, 17:33 the antichrist rules for 1260 days 17:37 from around 538 through until 1798. 17:45 The evidence is so conclusive 17:50 that we can come to only one verdict. 17:54 Point number eight, 17:56 the antichrist is the union of church and state. 18:00 Now come with me over here to Revelation 17:3, Revelation, 18:05 the last book in the Bible. 18:07 Revelation 17 18:10 and we're just giving you a little bit today, 18:13 because we proved this to you last week. 18:15 Revelation 17:3, "So he carried me away 18:19 in the Spirit into the wilderness. 18:22 And I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast 18:26 which was full of names of blasphemy, 18:29 having seven heads and ten horns." 18:33 Now listen carefully. 18:35 In Bible prophecy, the woman is the church 18:41 and the beast is the state. 18:44 Every commentator knows this. 18:47 And so here is the harlot 18:49 and the harlot represents the harlot church. 18:54 You say this is too strong. 18:58 This is God's word. 19:01 This is God's word, it is the strong word. 19:04 In Bible prophecy, the women, there are two women, 19:08 a pure women who is the true church 19:10 that keeps the commandments, 19:12 and then you have the adulterous woman 19:17 who makes the world drunk with a wine of her fornication, 19:22 and when people drink the doctrine 19:24 because the wine is the symbol of doctrine. 19:27 When people drink the doctrine of the church, 19:32 they become drunk. 19:34 And when a person is drunk, he cannot think straight 19:38 until he is no longer inebriated. 19:42 That is the great problem in the world today. 19:44 The world has drunk of the wine of this woman 19:48 and they can't think straight. 19:50 There's only one way that you can learn to think straight 19:52 and that is through the agency 19:55 and the efficacy of the Holy Spirit of God 19:58 working through the word. 20:01 So here is the woman who persecutes the true church, 20:06 who is the union of church and state. 20:09 And this woman resides in a great European city. 20:14 Look at Revelation 17:18 would you mind. 20:19 Revelation 17:18, "And the woman, or the church, 20:24 whom you saw is that great city 20:27 which reigns over the kings of the earth." 20:30 Any school boy knows, any school girl knows 20:34 that when this prophecy was given, 20:36 when the Book of Revelation was given 2000 years ago, 20:41 there was only one city 20:43 that reigned over the kings of the earth. 20:46 Everybody knows this. It is the city of Rome. 20:51 So we're talking here about a church 20:55 that ruled the world for more than a thousand years, 21:00 that persecuted the saints of God 21:03 and that resides in the city of Rome. 21:07 People say you're making it up. No, we're not making it up. 21:10 It's history. This is what the Bible said. 21:14 Look at Daniel 7:25, the Bible says, 21:19 "This is a persecuting church." 21:21 And you know the religion of Jesus 21:23 never persecuted to single soul. 21:26 Never forget that. 21:27 The Bible doesn't believe in torture, 21:29 the Bible doesn't believe in persecution. 21:32 Daniel 7:25, the Bible says, "He shall speak pompous words 21:37 against the Most High, 21:38 Shall persecute the saints of the Most High, 21:41 And shall intend to change times and law. 21:43 Then the saints shall be given into his hand 21:46 for a time and times and half a time. 21:49 History tells me 21:53 that there was a period in church history 21:57 when this book was the Bible for clerics. 22:01 You can see it there, this is the actual book. 22:04 It is the bloody book of the bloody inquisition. 22:09 And millions and millions of dissenting Roman Catholics, 22:15 Protestants and Jews were persecuted by this church, 22:20 and this went on for more than a thousand years, 22:26 and the Bible teaches 22:27 that this power is going to come back 22:29 with all the ferocity of the Dark Ages. 22:39 Point number 11, 22:40 this power changes the law of God 22:42 or at least tries to. 22:45 Look at Daniel 7:25, Daniel 7:25, 22:49 He shall speak pompous words against the Most High, 22:52 Shall persecute the saints of the Most High, 22:55 And shall intend to change times and law, 22:59 and the saints shall be given into His hand for a time, 23:03 which means a year, times, two years, half a time, 23:07 half a year as we proved from Revelation 12 23:10 and Revelation 13. 23:13 Now all look at me. 23:16 Here is a power that becomes so mighty, 23:21 and so seductive, and so pervasive 23:26 that he actually has the audacity 23:29 to change the law of Almighty God. 23:34 And this is not taking about the law of man. 23:38 Any country can change its own petty little laws, 23:41 but this power makes war against the Christ of God, 23:46 the saints of God, the people of God 23:50 and the law of God 23:54 which is summed up in the Ten Commandments, 23:58 and we shall see how he does this today. 24:01 Point number 12, 24:03 this power endures to the second coming, 24:06 so he's still here. 24:08 Daniel 7:25 and onwards. 24:10 "He shall speak pompous words against the Most High, 24:13 Shall persecute the saints of the Most High, 24:15 And shall intend to change times and law. 24:18 Then the saints shall be given into his hands 24:20 for a time and times and half a time. 24:23 But the court shall be seated, 24:24 And they shall take away his dominion, 24:26 To consume and destroy it forever. 24:30 Then the kingdom and dominion 24:31 and the greatness of the kingdoms 24:33 under the whole heaven, 24:34 Shall be given to the people of the saints of the Most High. 24:37 His kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, 24:40 And all dominions shall serve and obey Him." 24:46 The God of heaven. 24:49 Now my dear American friends, 24:52 and those watching around the world. 24:57 There's only one power on the face of this earth 25:00 that fulfils all of the specifications 25:05 of this divinely inspired prophecy. 25:10 It is the state church of the Dark Ages 25:17 that continues to live on. 25:23 And the Bible prophecy tells us 25:26 that this power would do some dark deeds. 25:32 The Bible says that this power would consider himself 25:37 with so much authority 25:39 that he could even reach into heaven 25:42 and he could change the law of God 25:47 which is blasphemy against God. 25:51 We shall deal with this in our next program 25:55 when the antichrist changed the law of God 26:01 and duped the whole world. 26:16 Hello, friend. 26:17 I'm John Carter in Havana, Cuba. 26:21 I'm standing here in Revolutionary Square. 26:25 This great square is dedicated to the great communist 26:28 revolution under Fidel 26:30 that came to this country back 50, 60 years ago. 26:35 This place is still undergoing a revolution. 26:39 We've come to check out the reality of the situation. 26:43 Freedom of speech is not allowed here still. 26:47 Preaching the gospel out of doors 26:49 is not allowed here, 26:51 still whatever you hear about reconciliation, 26:54 nothing has really changed. 26:57 We've been told, we cannot run public campaigns in Cuba 27:03 in any part of this world. 27:06 We can run meetings in churches, that's allowed. 27:09 So what are we going to do? 27:11 We're going to support the people of God 27:13 in this part of the world. 27:14 We're going to step through those doors 27:16 as God opens those doors. 27:19 We're not going to come and cause a commotion 27:23 and cause trouble to the people of God. 27:27 We will work diligently and as wise as serpents 27:32 and as harmless as doves. 27:35 Stand with us in the preaching of the gospel, 27:38 wherever it is, stand with us. 27:41 Write to me, P.O.
