00:05 - Oh yes.
00:06 Stay right there.
00:08 Stay right there I'll be right back.
00:13 Hey welcome everybody to Talking Donkey International
00:16 in our new television series Country Wisdom.
00:19 - Let's set the tone for this new series of ours
00:22 it's found in Proverbs 4.
00:24 Let your eyes look directly forward
00:27 and your gaze be straight before you
00:30 ponder the path of your feet
00:33 and then all your ways will be sure.
00:36 - Join us now for Country Wisdom.
00:43 - Bank vaults weigh hundreds of tons,
00:46 hundreds of tons it's even hard
00:48 to get this door going and open.
00:50 But there's something that's far more precious.
00:54 Stay tuned to find out what it is.
00:58 - [Narrator] Introducing Talking Donkey International
01:00 God once used a donkey to spread His word
01:03 but He'd rather use all of us.
01:06 It's time to prepare quality programming
01:09 created to attract and reach viewers of the world.
01:11 Not just those of our denomination
01:14 together we can carry the final advent message
01:17 to the individuals of planet earth
01:19 and hasten the return of our Lord.
01:21 Please pray for and support the successful mission
01:24 of Talking Donkey International.
01:29 - This vault is so amazingly big and heavy.
01:33 I just tried to shove this door
01:34 - I watched you trying
01:35 - And then I couldn't hardly stop it,
01:37 but this is the building actually,
01:39 where I was banking as a kid.
01:41 - So it used to be a bank.
01:43 - It was a bank, and then they changed it
01:44 into a different type of store,
01:46 but still had the vault and I thought,
01:48 well this was the perfect thing
01:49 to talk about security, right?
01:51 - Oh, and they took security seriously.
01:53 I don't know if he read here.
01:55 - No.
01:56 - This vault can be opened only
01:57 by a team of two authorized persons.
01:59 And only after elapse of the time preset
02:02 on the time lock mechanism.
02:04 And you've got two different locks here.
02:07 Nobody could have gotten into this door.
02:10 - It's got to be tons and tons and tons.
02:12 And that's why they left it in the building.
02:14 They couldn't take it out.
02:15 - It's this kind of thing though
02:17 that too many people bank on,
02:20 excuse the pun
02:21 they bank on vaults like this
02:24 they bank on what they keep in those vaults.
02:27 Whether it's, 401(k), stocks, safe deposit boxes
02:33 because that makes you feel secure.
02:35 It's like, okay
02:36 no matter what happens in the future,
02:38 I'm ready.
02:39 If you're my age you're thinking,
02:42 okay, retirement, everything is set.
02:44 I'm good.
02:45 And yet we're not focused on where our real security is
02:49 because none of that is going to last.
02:52 And none of that is ultimately important.
02:54 - I'm sure a lot of these safety deposit boxes
02:56 had a lot of jewelry in them.
03:00 And people bet on that too.
03:00 And they believe in that.
03:03 The list goes on and on and on.
03:04 But you mentioned gold and silver.
03:06 - Oh I have friends.
03:07 I know people
03:09 some are collecting that gold bullion.
03:12 Every payday they're putting aside a little bit in gold.
03:16 Others who say, no, it's silver
03:18 that's going to hold its value.
03:20 And they're stocking up on silver.
03:23 And occasionally I feel this little fear,
03:25 like, well maybe I should be doing something like that.
03:29 And yet that's not going to do them any good
03:32 if their real security isn't in the right place.
03:35 - Do you remember when one of the disciples
03:38 walked up the steps of the temple?
03:40 And there was a beggar there who was a paralytic
03:44 and the beggar thought,
03:45 well everybody that goes to the temple,
03:47 he gives money.
03:49 - They were taking offerings in.
03:50 - They've got all money.
03:52 They've got it,
03:53 so he puts out his bowl
03:55 and disciple looks pulls out his pockets and said,
03:58 I don't have any gold.
04:00 And I don't have any silver, but what I have I give to you
04:04 rise and walk and the man got up rejoicing.
04:07 He could walk.
04:08 Now.
04:10 - That was way better than any coins he might have got.
04:12 - Yeah my question is what didn't he have?
04:15 - Well, he didn't have any gold or silver.
04:17 The things that we think are so valuable.
04:19 - Yeah, exactly we have the gold we have the silver,
04:21 now what did he have?
04:23 - He had God,
04:24 he had the Holy Spirit with him.
04:26 He had that power.
04:27 That foundation.
04:29 - Yeah, the thing that really counts
04:31 The thing that really counts.
04:33 You look at this world,
04:35 God takes care of those who trust in Him.
04:39 - And in fact,
04:40 the scripture say
04:42 birds out in the field.
04:43 They don't worry about, are they going to eat tomorrow?
04:46 Do they have enough put away?
04:47 Do they have a 401(k)?
04:49 Do they have a safe deposit box?
04:51 - You're a birdwatcher so you know right?
04:53 You pay a lot of attention to birds.
04:55 - Now there are birds that do store food for the winter.
04:58 They've been programmed.
04:59 Their God made them to know, okay, it's going to snow.
05:02 We need to have those seeds tucked away,
05:06 but they're not worried.
05:09 They're not trying to build security themselves.
05:15 They actually know the Lord's taking care of them.
05:18 They just know that.
05:19 - Yeah, it is difficult sometimes
05:22 when we can talk about this
05:24 and we can say things
05:26 but in the reality of life,
05:28 sometimes we have problems.
05:29 And sometimes we forget.
05:32 - Oh, my default setting is anxiety.
05:35 And so I'm talking to myself here,
05:38 the lecture is for me
05:39 because I realized I put security in my husband.
05:44 Steve is so stable and I rely on that.
05:49 And sometimes I have to go,
05:50 do I rely on him more than I'm relying on God?
05:54 And sometimes I think I am.
05:59 - Everybody is always looking for security
06:02 of some sort of another.
06:04 - Certainly the people behind those gates,
06:06 you can have gates that are locked.
06:09 You can hear big dogs up there.
06:10 Those are not poodles that I heard earlier.
06:13 Things to make you feel safer, more secure.
06:17 And I have a tendency.
06:19 I want those things.
06:20 I like security.
06:21 I like knowing where the next paycheck is coming from.
06:26 I like having not only A plan,
06:27 but a B and usually a C as well.
06:30 And I think I've always been that way,
06:33 but I know a big part of it was because
06:36 when I was in high school
06:38 my dad was a dentist and he paid for my older brother
06:42 bought him a car when he graduated from high school,
06:45 he paid for his college
06:47 got him another car.
06:48 After that,
06:49 my sister, she came right along after John
06:52 and he paid for all of Bonnie's college.
06:55 And then I'm in high school
06:59 and dad died
07:00 and there was nothing we found out.
07:02 He had no life insurance - There goes the security
07:05 - No health insurance.
07:06 And he died of cancer.
07:08 So everything that he had had that was worth anything
07:11 mom had to sell and I'm going,
07:13 well how do I get to college now?
07:15 What am I going to do?
07:16 And it was as if the earth had dropped away,
07:20 it was like there went all of my financial security
07:23 and financial security is a big part of life.
07:27 I know that that left me feeling a little shakier
07:32 exacerbated a tendency that was already there.
07:36 Later you fast forward years later,
07:40 we had two boys.
07:42 We were in the process of adopting our daughter.
07:45 And one day Steve came home from work
07:48 and he just very casually.
07:49 It was just to let me know,
07:50 oh, by the way,
07:52 and he said,
07:53 literally, I think he started it with by the way,
07:55 I contacted our lawyer this morning.
07:58 And I made a few changes to the will
08:01 because now that we're going to have three kids
08:04 instead of two
08:05 things need to be divided different.
08:07 We need to have that down in black and white
08:09 to provide for her.
08:12 And I started to cry
08:14 and I'm sure that a lot of men
08:17 often are standing there going, what do I say now?
08:21 - Exactly.
08:21 - But he was like that.
08:23 It was like what, what did I do?
08:25 To me it was
08:27 Okay my father had not thought ahead to my future.
08:30 - All these past years keep pouring into that moment.
08:32 - Yeah dad died no life insurance, no health insurance.
08:35 I don't know what he thought, was he immortal?
08:37 I don't know.
08:39 Steve hadn't even met his daughter yet.
08:43 And yet he was already providing for her future.
08:46 And to me,
08:47 I don't care how many flowers you bring home
08:49 or how many anniversaries you do or do not remember
08:53 the fact that he was planning for the future of a daughter
08:57 that he wasn't even in his life yet
09:00 meant so much to me.
09:02 It's like, that is love.
09:04 - It's amazing in this life.
09:06 We're so surrounded,
09:08 we just need that security.
09:09 Children of Israel, God led them out of slavery
09:14 and they got out and they said
09:16 oh Lord, that we just had the leekes of Egypt.
09:18 If we just had the food of Egypt,
09:20 if we just had that security blanket
09:22 of slavery - Of being provided for.
09:24 - Yeah of slavery, yeah.
09:26 If I just had that slavery,
09:27 I'd feel so much better.
09:29 And pretty soon God said, okay, you want that?
09:32 Go ahead.
09:33 See how it is without Me.
09:35 And really that's the way it is here on earth now,
09:38 we either,
09:39 - We kind of crave the security,
09:40 the attachments we can see
09:42 the guard, the gate, things that are tangible
09:46 make us feel better
09:47 - Exactly.
09:48 - When all of that could be gone tomorrow.
09:51 - It can
09:53 I think about this families
09:55 that were down in the Paradise California fire
09:59 and that fire as you know was raging.
10:00 And many many people just, it was horrendous.
10:04 This neighbor came to them and they had known him that long.
10:07 They had just moved.
10:08 We had moved from Maryland.
10:09 They had moved from Maryland
10:10 settled in that particular location.
10:13 And the father said, please take my children.
10:15 And he said, I'll meet you down in the city.
10:18 I'll get out.
10:19 I need to do a few other things.
10:20 They grabbed the kids.
10:22 They finally got out of there,
10:23 but dad never showed up.
10:27 The things of this world,
10:28 all of this stuff
10:29 it's all going to burn up.
10:30 Matter of fact, we're at the base of a volcano right now.
10:33 Yeah and you were worried about the volcano the other day.
10:37 That volcano may explode and wipe us all out in a heartbeat.
10:39 That's what happened in Pompeii.
10:42 They were all just enjoying life.
10:43 Everything was great and wonderful and poof in the moment.
10:46 They're all dead.
10:47 I don't know if you've been there but
10:49 - To Pompeii.
10:50 - Yeah.
10:51 - No, I have not had the privilege.
10:52 - Been there and these people are shriveled up
10:54 trying to cover up themselves from the ash and the vapors
10:58 and everything and they're just gone.
11:00 There are just shells left.
11:02 That's what's going to be left of this life is just shells.
11:05 - And their life probably felt very secure.
11:07 Five minutes before that.
11:09 - Oh yeah, it did.
11:11 Yeah they were
11:12 well, like the Bible says eating and drinking
11:14 and marrying and giving in marriage.
11:16 They were doing all these things,
11:20 but it doesn't matter
11:21 because all of this is going to be gone.
11:24 And the only place to find security is one place.
11:28 - In the right father, the real father.
11:31 - The real father yeah.
11:32 You had a tough time with that for a while
11:34 with the real father,
11:35 because he really wasn't the best.
11:40 - And sometimes I think that is an inhibition
11:42 for a lot of people if you haven't had loving parents,
11:46 it's a little harder to relate to God
11:48 and to realize that he is caring for you
11:51 providing for your needs
11:52 more than any earthly parent would ever do.
11:55 - Yep.
11:57 I got to go say hi to your guard up here.
11:58 He's kind of cute.
12:00 He's been staying there he looks so official.
12:01 Let's go check him out here.
12:04 - Hey, I'm Jim.
12:06 Could we shake hands.
12:15 - It's no secret that the world is in a major mess.
12:19 We are in a major mess.
12:22 Even if you have escaped, many of life's difficulties
12:25 most homes still struggle with daily living.
12:29 So the question arises is there hope for the future
12:33 for your future?
12:35 I want to tell you there absolutely is hope.
12:39 And that's why I'm asking you to order this free pamphlet.
12:43 Is there Hope for the future?
12:46 You will be happy you did, it will change your life.
12:50 Go to TalkingDonkeyInternational.org today
12:55 and order offer 105.
12:58 Is there Hope for the future?
13:01 - [Narrator] Introducing Talking Donkey International
13:04 God once used a donkey to spread His word
13:07 but He'd rather use all of us.
13:10 It's time to prepare quality programming
13:12 created to attract and reach viewers of the world.
13:15 Not just those of our denomination
13:18 together we can carry the final advent message
13:20 to the individuals of planet earth
13:23 and hasten the return of our Lord.
13:25 Please pray for and support the successful mission
13:28 of Talking Donkey International
13:43 - We're probably standing
13:45 in front of one of the most popular
13:46 buildings in America.
13:47 There are many more,
13:49 - Well I know it ranks right up there in the top 10
13:51 with my husband
13:52 who has never met a sporting goods store that he didn't like
13:55 - He's mainly a fisherman.
13:57 - He is a fisherman.
13:58 He also goes for birding supplies,
14:00 binoculars, spotting, scopes, but mainly it's fishing.
14:04 - Here's one of the things
14:05 that one of their departments has just gone skyrocket
14:07 us with many around the country that's guns.
14:11 - I can imagine, because I read just recently
14:14 that just in this last year,
14:16 the rise in gun sales has gone up by 60%.
14:21 - That's huge 60%. - That's six zero.
14:23 - Let me share the stats with you
14:24 393 million guns in United States.
14:29 - That's more than there are people.
14:31 Someone has my share.
14:33 - So more guns than every man, woman and child.
14:40 - Well, the article I was reading
14:42 said that there are three main reasons
14:44 for the rise this past year.
14:46 One of them was just COVID the lockdowns
14:49 the uncertainty
14:51 has had a lot of people on edge
14:54 also the election
14:55 and all of the rioting that took place over the summer.
14:59 Those three combined
15:01 made people who maybe even hadn't thought about it before.
15:04 Think maybe I need a way to protect myself.
15:06 I need something to secure my house,
15:10 secure my person.
15:11 - They're looking for security of some kind.
15:14 - And I'm no different.
15:17 I have friends who own guns.
15:19 We don't have one in our household.
15:22 I'm not sure my family would trust me with one
15:25 but a lot of people are doing it.
15:28 And it begins to make you think,
15:32 well maybe that would be a wise thing to do.
15:34 I know that I talked about Steve.
15:36 He comes here for fishing equipment.
15:39 And when I look at the future and I start to feel like,
15:43 Ooh is society really going to keep breaking apart?
15:46 And my mind goes to worst case scenario.
15:49 It's just on speed dial to worst case scenario.
15:52 And I think, okay
15:53 I am married to absolutely the best person
15:56 to be married to in an emergency
15:58 for one thing, unlike mom, he stays calm.
16:02 He's a physician.
16:04 He fishes,
16:05 even though he doesn't eat them
16:07 he's a complete vegetarian.
16:09 His family has no idea where the obsession came,
16:11 - But somebody going to write and say
16:12 what does he do with them?
16:13 - But what gives him away.
16:14 He makes a lot of people happier.
16:16 Most of them,
16:17 he actually just releases
16:18 and maybe they've learned their lesson.
16:20 - I interrupted you, go ahead.
16:22 - So I know he could find food.
16:24 He's a gardener.
16:26 So between now and then we probably won't starve
16:28 because he can always find a place to fish.
16:31 And we've got a little greenhouse and a big garden
16:36 and he could suture me up if,
16:39 if I trip and fall.
16:41 But then I realized, who, where am I putting my security?
16:46 What happens if something happens to just Steve?
16:48 And there goes my whole future security.
16:55 - I remember my grandmother.
16:57 She had lots of good stories
16:59 but I remember her telling me that when she was a newlywed
17:02 and I forget if it was 1916, 1917,
17:05 somewhere around there.
17:07 Well, what was happening in the world?
17:09 What was the world like about 1916, 17.
17:12 - Falling apart.
17:13 - It was falling apart.
17:15 She had World War I.
17:17 They referred to it as the great war
17:19 the war to end all wars,
17:21 which it didn't
17:23 but they thought it can't get worse than this.
17:25 This is the worst war ever.
17:27 We're going to kill ourselves.
17:29 It will annihilate humankind.
17:31 If something doesn't happen
17:33 then you had the Spanish flu right on the heels of it.
17:37 And she was convinced,
17:40 this is the time of the end.
17:41 This is what the book of Revelation was talking about.
17:44 The Lord has to come because we can't get any worse.
17:49 And yet that was how many years ago,
17:52 over a hundred years ago and we're still here.
17:55 And I find myself with those same feelings
17:58 looking around and going,
18:00 this has to be the end.
18:03 And that's why people are flocking to stores like this
18:06 stocking up on ammunition,
18:08 stocking up on guns
18:09 because they're trying to do whatever they can
18:13 to be secure,
18:14 to secure their persons
18:15 to secure their property.
18:17 And they're losing sight
18:19 of where our real security has to come from.
18:22 - It's true.
18:24 Interesting side note on that.
18:25 When you say they thought it was time,
18:28 well it actually was,
18:30 if you look in scripture, you dig deeply.
18:32 The Lord was ready to come several times
18:35 in our recent past history.
18:37 But scripture also says
18:38 that He's not willing that any should perish
18:41 but that all should come to repentance.
18:43 God wants to save everybody.
18:45 He doesn't
18:46 - Keeps give us a little more time
18:47 - Just a little more time.
18:48 Now Jesus said,
18:50 look you're not going to know the time of the end.
18:52 I don't only the Father knows the exact date.
18:56 So the Father has his fingers on the hourglass.
18:59 I believe by scripture, He's actually tipped it over.
19:02 The sand is running out.
19:04 How much sand is in there?
19:06 Don't know.
19:07 But I think, like I say again by the word of God,
19:10 it's short, but you nailed it.
19:12 As far as look security is only in God.
19:15 It's not found in the guns.
19:17 It's not found in the stuff of this world.
19:19 - I don't care how big an arsenal you have at home.
19:21 There is no safety there,
19:23 - Yeah
19:24 - Nothing permanent.
19:25 - And even how great a guy Steve is
19:29 and all the stuff he preps for you,
19:31 it comes in handy and it's good
19:34 but it isn't the ultimate thing that will save you.
19:37 - No so I have to stop and think
19:39 where am I putting that security?
19:40 Like I said,
19:41 I start asking myself, am I feeling okay?
19:44 Because I think I've got Steve
19:46 or am I feeling okay because I've got the Lord?
19:49 I have a foundation that doesn't move.
19:52 - Yeah, exactly.
19:55 That's what everybody needs to come to that point
19:57 in their lives and say
19:59 what is the most important thing to me
20:02 in this whole life if I lose everything,
20:04 if I lose the guns
20:05 if I lose my spouse,
20:06 if I lose my kids.
20:08 If I lose my job
20:09 if I lose everything,
20:11 what's really important?
20:13 There's what, only one thing, right?
20:16 That's what a king David.
20:17 He had lots of troubles and he,
20:20 oh boy did he have it for 10 years,
20:22 he's anointed king.
20:23 And then he's pursued like a dog
20:25 Saul chases him down like a dog.
20:28 And he hides in a cave, said, God, didn't you anoint me?
20:31 I was supposed to be a king
20:33 and we can look at that and say,
20:35 well, it's kind of a bum rap,
20:38 but here we are now in this time in history
20:42 seem like things should have been over Lord,
20:43 but it isn't.
20:44 Well, it's close.
20:46 We need to prepare like this is the end
20:49 because it almost is.
20:52 And king David
20:54 - You have to put your trust in the right place.
20:55 - Exactly, King David said an interesting thing
20:58 as I talk about him in Psalms 20,
21:01 he said some trust in horses
21:04 and some in chariots,
21:05 but we shall remember the name of our God,
21:08 now horses and chariots in that day
21:09 they were kind of like the F-18s and the tanks.
21:14 And they were the big guns of the day
21:16 we can't trust in that stuff right?
21:19 - You can't say, oh, we're secure.
21:21 We're here in the United States.
21:23 Nothing could harm the United States
21:26 because obviously you never know what could happen tomorrow.
21:30 So your security needs to be in as he put it.
21:33 The name of the Lord.
21:34 - Yeah, he says
21:35 be the exalted Lord and thine on strength,
21:37 so shall we sing the praises of thy power.
21:41 - His strength.
21:42 - His strength, His power.
21:44 That's the key.
21:50 - It's no secret that the world is in a major mess.
21:54 We are in a major mess.
21:56 Even if you have escaped, many of life's difficulties
21:59 most homes still struggle with daily living.
22:03 So the question arises
22:06 is there hope for the future for your future?
22:10 I want to tell you there absolutely is hope.
22:13 And that's why I'm asking you to order this free pamphlet.

22:32 Is there Hope for the future?
22:35 - Janice I know we're in your favorite spot
22:37 but we're outside you can't go in right now,
22:39 - You don't know how hard this is for me.
22:41 - Yeah this is your prepping store, right?
22:45 - I am not one of those.
22:47 I live an hour away.
22:49 And so when I do come,
22:50 I've always got a list.
22:52 I know what I need
22:53 because I'm not going to be back very soon.
22:55 But when the pandemic hit,
22:58 all of a sudden
22:59 even places like this we're out of things.
23:01 And that had never happened before.
23:03 - There were lines maybe a mile long unbelievable.
23:06 - And I found myself thinking, well, what do I need?
23:10 Should I be grabbing more of that?
23:12 And there are only three of these left.
23:14 Maybe I should take all three,
23:16 forget about whoever else might need some.
23:19 And it made me feel a little shaky
23:22 a little insecure
23:24 and things like that do make you look at your priorities
23:28 and where your security is.
23:30 - Yeah It's true.
23:32 Security gives you comfort,
23:34 but the things of this world can't give us comfort.
23:38 Matter of fact,
23:39 Jesus came here to earth to die for you and for me
23:41 to give us the real security,
23:42 He gives the promise of eternal life,
23:44 which is incredible.
23:46 But as soon as He was baptized, He came up out of the water.
23:49 The Lord drove him out in the wilderness
23:50 where he met the devil for three temptations.
23:52 And the third temptation
23:54 is specifically about what kind of security there is.
23:58 He took Jesus up to a high mountain.
24:00 He revealed at that moment, all the riches of the world.
24:03 He said, it's mine I got it from Adam and Eve.
24:06 All you have to do is bow down and worship me as your Lord.
24:09 And you can have it all.
24:11 That's the promise. - King of the world
24:12 - That's the promise of the devil all the time to us,
24:15 you can have all this stuff
24:16 - And that stuff will make you happy
24:18 and give you a secure future.
24:19 - Yeah.
24:20 - But recently I had an experience
24:22 that's actually kind of humorous,
24:24 but it did illustrate a point to me.
24:28 We live in an area that gets fires not far from us.
24:31 We have had towns that have had whole swaths
24:33 of the town just disappear in a fire.
24:37 And not long ago, two, three weeks maybe
24:41 we look out our kitchen window
24:43 and there is the smoke billowing up.
24:45 And it's like, that is not just a house fire.
24:48 And Steve thought it's maybe three miles away
24:52 which is three miles way too close for me.
24:55 And I got that the first thing in my mind was
24:59 now if we have to evacuate,
25:00 what do I grab?
25:03 And so I asked Steve because he's my security.
25:07 And he thinks straighter.
25:08 And I said, so purely hypothetically,
25:12 if we got a phone call about evacuating,
25:14 what would you grab?
25:16 And he said, oh, well the dogs first.
25:18 And I said, well, yeah, that's a given.
25:20 That's like taking your kids with you,
25:22 it's just that doesn't even count.
25:24 And he said, well, then I would take that box on my desk
25:27 that has all of our insurance papers.
25:30 We're going to need that.
25:31 It has the account numbers,
25:33 things that we would need to rebuild.
25:36 And I thought, oh, that's why I married you
25:38 because you're really thinking.
25:40 And he said, why, what went through your mind?
25:43 And I said, well, honestly my first thought was
25:45 grabbing my makeup bag.
25:48 - And just think
25:49 this is going to be out there for the whole world to know
25:51 now you'd grabb the makeup bag,
25:53 but look, I understand,
25:54 and it's real.
25:55 And we all think of different things.
25:58 The key is though, there is a better security
26:00 than anything of this world
26:03 real quickly I want to tell you a story
26:04 of a lady that Terry and I were out filming a lady.
26:07 And we interviewed her in I think it was Madagascar.
26:10 Well, she was baptized.
26:12 Their house was right near the river.
26:14 And all of a sudden, as she's being baptized
26:16 that house kind of miraculously quickly burns to the ground.
26:22 The next day when the ash is cold
26:23 she went kicking through the house
26:24 and she found her Bible.
26:26 It didn't smell like smoke and it hadn't been burned at all.
26:30 - Oh my goodness.
26:31 - Let me tell you, this is the real security.
26:32 The Bible says, all of this
26:34 on planet earth is one day going to be all burned up
26:37 - But what's in here will never disappear.
26:40 - This is eternal.
26:41 This is eternal
26:42 and God says, like He said
26:44 I'm going to give it all to you.
26:46 Matter of fact, to those who overcome
26:48 and Jesus is the one who helps us do all of that
26:51 to those who overcome,
26:52 I'm going to grant for you to sit with Me in My throne.
26:56 Guess what?
26:58 We get to rule the universe with God.
27:00 What an amazing God.
27:02 That's what He's promising.
27:03 I'm imagining you kind of liked that idea.
27:05 - And I realized that if my focus is on God,
27:10 just like a hunting dog is on the prey
27:13 and you never lose sight of that.
27:15 It really doesn't matter.
27:16 What's disappearing around you.
27:18 It doesn't matter how much disappears
27:20 in your bank account overnight.
27:21 It doesn't matter if your home burns down,
27:24 you have a goal.
27:25 And it's solid.
27:28 - How about you?
27:30 When the fires are burning around your home,
27:32 in your life
27:33 fires in your life,
27:34 where are your priorities?
27:35 Where's your security?
27:37 I hope it's found in the Bible
27:39 found in Jesus Christ
27:40 because he's ready, willing and able
27:43 to help you to lift you up to eternity.
27:45 Because remember
27:46 it's not about this 70 or so years here on earth.
27:49 It's all about eternity.
27:55 Thanks for joining us for Country Wisdom
27:57 - See you next time.
