" 01:15 It goes on to talk about the darkness and deep 01:18 darkness that covers this world. 01:20 There are people who are lost and alone; 01:22 people hurting... broken. 01:24 People who don't know the name of Jesus 01:28 or have not met Him for themselves. 01:31 That's why this ministry exists. 01:34 In 1984, November of 1984, 01:37 God gave Danny Shelton the vision to build a TV station 01:41 that would reach the world with the undiluted 3 angels' 01:45 messages, one that would counteract the counterfeit. 01:48 3ABN actually began broad- casting November 23 of 1986. 01:54 And from that first network, we call it 3ABN parent network, 01:59 were birthed many other networks. 02:01 Right now 3ABN has grown to a total of nine networks 02:05 and then we have the Radio familly as well. 02:09 Nine television networks and then Radio networks as well. 02:12 This afternoon you are in for a treat 02:15 because we're going to have rolls from each one of these 02:18 networks, and you'll have the opportunity to hear from 02:21 our network managers as well. 02:23 But first we have to go back to how it all began: 02:26 that's 3ABN, the parent, roll. 02:30 Let's go to that now. 02:32 Today's world is fragmented, broken, torn apart. 02:36 Marriages are dys- functional and disintegrating. 02:38 Children are abused and neglected. 02:41 Pain is masked by addiction, by depression, or even violence. 02:45 We live in a society more interconnected than ever before 02:49 while people are increasingly isolated, lonely, depressed 02:53 and suicide rates continue to climb. 02:56 Our healthcare advances rapidly 02:59 while people develop more diseases and become sicker. 03:02 The opportunity to read the Word of God is widespread 03:06 while people turn their backs on God 03:08 and continue in their ever- increasing pursuit of pleasure. 03:11 With all of our advances in medicine, education, 03:14 and technology we are increasingly separated, lost, 03:17 and alone. Is there any solution? 03:20 Is there any hope? Who can heal us? 03:24 3ABN began in 1984 with a mission to proclaim 03:27 this gospel of Jesus Christ: 03:29 the undiluted 3 angels' messages to those lost and alone, 03:33 to those seeking for answers, to those on the very brink 03:36 of destruction. February 28, 2000, 10:07 3ABN Radio was launched. 10:10 And that grew into a whole family of networks 10:12 which we'll talk about in a moment. 10:14 And let's take a look at the roll from 3ABN Radio. 10:19 After the fall in Eden life became confusing, 10:22 hard, and unjust. 10:24 Sin abounded and God needed special people 10:26 to reach His creation with solutions to their problems. 10:30 You know the story... only a few listened. 10:33 As time progressed problems worsened and today 10:36 if you think about it we're just about at the same place 10:39 as the antediluvians were just before the flood. 10:42 Crime, selfishness. Out of the almost 7 billion people 10:47 in the world only a relatively small number 10:49 are truly interested in the things of God. 10:52 People are addicted to alcohol, drugs, pornography, 10:56 and more. Even with our technology and social contacts 11:00 we're very lonely. In 1984 Danny Shelton 11:04 was given a vision by God to create a television station 11:07 to reach a lost and dying world. 11:09 Then in 2000 the ministry launched another form 11:12 another form of reaching those people: 11:14 3ABN Radio and a little later 3ABN Radio Music Channel. 11:19 Today people are searching for answers to their perplexing 11:22 problems that cause them so much pain and fear 11:26 as danger lurks in so many places: 11:29 demonstrations, rebellion, and violence. 11:32 Taking it to the simplest common denominator 11:35 everyone has needs... I'm sitting here right now with 13:08 the general manager of 3ABN Radio Network Jay Christian. 13:12 And Jay, we're so glad you're here today. 13:14 You've been here since the beginning of 3ABN Radio, right? 13:18 Tell us about the start and who was here then. 13:19 I came in; I was actually the 3rd employee for 3ABN Radio 13:24 so two preceded me. 13:26 But I came in the late summer of 1999 13:30 and they gave us the commission to get started as quickly 13:35 as we could. We had to build everything from the ground up. 13:37 And so we were involved even in some of the actual building 13:41 of the studios. Not the major things, but you know 13:44 putting things up on the walls and things like that. 13:48 And then we were told: "We want to be on by Feb. 28. " 13:52 And: "What? " That's a little quick! 13:55 Right. So we had to kick it into the next gear 13:58 and get going. And we made it, you know... just barely. 14:00 We all sat down and caught our breath on February 28th 14:04 because we had to really work fast and hard to go from 14:07 nowhere... nothing... to a full radio network in that time. 14:12 And we had some interesting people. Actually we've had 14:16 a very long staff. We've had some people come and go. 14:19 But Teresa Booth was the manager that first started it 14:23 and she did a wonderful job. We were very happy with... 14:26 with what she did. Mike Babb came, our engineer. 14:30 Nikki Anderson, who has donned many hats over the years. 14:36 And she'll be leaving actually shortly after Camp Meeting 14:40 for retirement. So we have a replacement for her 14:43 trying to learn all the ropes and everything like that. 14:47 But three of us have, Nikki Anderson, Mike Bobb, and myself 14:52 have been there somewhere around 18 to 20, 21 years... 14:57 something like that. We have some longevity in 14:59 3ABN Radio. Angela Lomacang, too. She's been there for 15:01 a long time. She has... absolutely! 15:02 So tell me how Radio has spawned some other networks 15:07 you could say. Not just 3ABN Radio but 15:08 but you've launched a music channel and some others, 15:10 so tell us about that. Well, we have 3ABN Radio music channel 15:15 which is music 24/7. 15:17 And we just listen to people. The Lord impressed me finally 15:22 one day that we needed to start a station that focuses 15:26 mostly on music and so we do that. 15:29 And we actually... One of the great things about the music 15:33 channel is we're able to get all sorts of Bible teaching in 15:36 there, comments like that. 15:40 We'll read Ellen White texts and messages 15:44 and writings and so forth, so we can get a lot of 15:47 information in there and some great Christian music as well. 15:51 There's also 3ABN Latino Radio, 15:55 3ABN Australia Radio, 15:57 3ABN Russia Radio, 16:00 so there's a lot of radio out there. And praise God for that - 16:03 Amen - because some people are oriented toward video. 16:07 Some people are oriented toward audio. 16:11 And sometimes they can't watch TV but they can listen to radio. 16:14 Absolutely! At 3ABN Radio we just talked abou they launched 20:23 in 2000. Fast forward just a couple years 20:26 and we come to 3ABN Latino. 20:29 They launched on August 24, 2003. 20:35 We're going to interview John Dinzey in just a moment 20:37 but first let's go to a roll from Latino. 20:41 When the Lord impressed me that there was a need for 20:43 a Spanish channel I had no idea how many 20:46 Spanish-speaking people there were in the world. 20:49 Estimates indicate that there are more than 570 million 20:54 people that speak Spanish. 20:55 I was surprised to find out that Spanish is the second-most 20:59 widely spoken language. If you ask Hispanics 21:03 what they watch on television, 21:04 the answer will be telenovela, which are soap operas 21:08 that are broadcast mainly during prime time. 21:11 They also watch sports... the number one being soccer... 21:14 and then baseball and movies. 21:16 I believe 3ABN Latino is a channel of divine origin 21:20 to reach people that Satan is corrupting with immorality 21:24 and artificial excitement. 21:26 Hispanics tend to be very family oriented. 21:30 3ABN Latino offers a wide variety of programming 21:32 to strengthen family ties. 21:34 This includes marriage seminars like Edificande Familias. 21:38 We have children's programming like Estrelita de Jesus 21:42 and Con mis Manos. 21:44 Hispanic families are facing an increase in 21:48 diabetes, heart disease, cancer, and obesity. 21:52 We have informative and interesting health programs 21:55 to help people avoid diseases, recover their health, 21:59 and maintain a better quality of life. 22:02 This is part of preaching the gospel. 22:04 But the preaching of God's Word in a more direct way 22:08 is our highest priority, 22:10 so we developed excellent Bible study programs, 22:13 seminars, and evangelistic campaigns 22:16 that are changing lives by bringing people to Jesus. 22:19 What a joy it is to see people giving their hearts 22:23 to the Lord in baptism. 22:26 Now this year has been a historic year. 22:29 COVID-19 has impacted the whole world. 22:33 Our 3ABN Latino team rose to the challenge 22:35 as God directed us. 22:37 We produced special programming to keep people informed 22:41 on how to avoid getting infected 22:43 and how to strengthen their immune systems. 22:47 We had presentations by doctors, nutritionists, 22:51 even surgeons and nurses that were working in ICUs. 22:55 Unfortunately, people were unable to attend church 22:59 so we presented a 3ABN Latino Worship Hour 23:01 during the stay-at-home crisis 23:03 which our viewers say has been a tremendous blessing. 23:07 There have been so many signs that point to the fact that 23:10 we are living in the last days. 23:13 This is why we developed programs with a panel of pastors 23:17 to speak about end-time events. 23:20 Our viewers were provided with an opportunity 23:23 to ask questions and they received clear Bible answers. 23:28 Please pray for 3ABN Latino 23:30 and consider supporting us financially 23:33 as we do our part to help people prepare for the soon return 23:37 of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. 23:45 Amen! We're so grateful for John Dinzey 23:48 and his leadership with 3ABN Latino as well as his 23:52 wife Idalia. With me now is Pastor Johnny Dinzey. 23:55 And tell me Pastor Johnny: 3ABN Latino has grown 23:58 incredibly since you first launched in 2003. 24:01 How has it grown? I am completely amazed 24:04 at what God has done because I remember the day 24:08 that I was in my office and considered... 3ABN Latino had 24:13 just been launched. And I know a little bit about 24:17 trying to get on cable and cable companies, especially 24:21 in the United States, and how much work is involved 24:24 contacting churches, church leaders, and doing 24:27 campaigns to try to get on cable. 24:30 And I did a big: "Wow, there's a lot of work ahead of us! " 24:35 But you know, God is in control. He took over 24:40 and without us asking pastors and lay people, 24:44 lay members of the church, started contacting cable 24:47 companies and we were growing completely, surprisingly, 24:51 faster than I could have possibly imagined. 24:54 So right now we are on over 1,300 cable companies. 24:57 Praise the Lord! And we don't know the exact number 25:01 like I said before. In some places cable companies just 25:05 put us on and sometimes later they tell us... 25:08 sometimes they don't. 25:10 So we are on. We know bcause people contact us from 25:13 different places. Amen. And we just praise the Lord that 25:16 even this year, we haven't gotten in touch with any of them 25:18 but five cable companies have approached us on their own 25:22 wanting to put our programming on. Amen! That's amazing. 25:25 We have time for a short story. Could you tell us a story? 25:29 Well there are a lot of stories but I decided to pick one 25:31 that... a testimony we received not too long ago 25:36 that I just say: "Praise the Lord! This is what 3ABN 25:38 is all about! " He says: "Hello, my name is Carlos 25:41 Alberto. I live in the municipality of Candelaria 25:45 Valle del Cauta in Colombia. " 25:47 You may remember just Colombia. Yes! 25:49 "I would like to begin by thanking you for 3ABN Latino. 25:52 They have been of immense help to me! 25:55 God, through all the ministers who work together 25:58 have given me encouragement to continue, have instructed me 26:01 on the right path. Since my situation from a young age 26:04 has not been so easy - I am currently 24 yrs. old - 26:08 but the good news is that I already made the right decision 26:11 and gave my life to the Lord Jesus Christ. " 26:14 And he continues, but it's amazing what God is doing. 26:18 All of this is to change lives for the Lord Jesus Christ 26:22 and people are just giving their lives to the Lord, 26:24 being baptized. And we just praise the Lord 26:26 that we have a part in that. Amen! We are: 27:01 from 3ABN Australia. 27:03 We produced our first series for 3ABN in 2007. 27:07 And since 2013 we've been making programs 27:10 from the studio in Morrisset as well as on location. 27:14 Also, through kind donors we've been paying for the 3ABN 27:18 signal on Optus D2 every month since mid 2005 27:23 and now through Vast Channel 603. 27:26 However, we have not been able to reach the South Pacific 27:29 island nations despite requests 27:32 due to satellite difficulties and costs. 27:35 And the Internet can be expensive so we've needed 27:38 another solution. God motivated Moses Primo 27:42 to find a solution through mySDATV. 27:45 And 3ABN Australia has committed to support this great 27:49 venture for our island people AND the world. 27:53 In faith we have ordered 1,000 of these units 27:56 which are currently being manufactured. 27:59 It is called Interless. So let's go to Dare to Dream. 30:48 As I look at the world today I see a world that has 30:50 strayed so far from God's ideal for mankind. 30:54 Unfortunately, when Adam and Eve yielded to temptation 30:57 sin entered the world and life changed drastically. 31:00 Soon after the fall of man we saw the lack of value 31:03 that was placed on human life. 31:06 A prime example of this was when Cain killed his brother Abel. 31:09 Fast forwarding to the day and age in which we live 31:12 we become desensitized and witness real murders on TV 31:16 and the Internet. As I look at the world today 31:19 I see a global pandemic that has been around prior to COVID-19 31:23 and it's called sin. 31:25 I see parents that are struggling to train up their 31:27 children in the way they should go. 31:29 I see homes without fathers or if the father is in the home 31:33 he struggles with displaying healthy emotions. 31:36 I look at the world today and I see the crime rate 31:39 on the rise and a massive rate of incarceration. 31:43 As I look at the world today 31:45 I see people that are surprised when they head to their demise 31:48 due to their physical and spiritual diet. 31:51 As I look at the world today 31:53 I see people being taken advantage of by financial 31:56 predators such as pawn shops, credit card companies, 31:59 and check cashing places. 32:01 Even though there's a long list of problems that I see in the 32:04 world there's a solution that outweighs them all. 32:08 The solution is Jesus Christ. 32:10 3ABN's Dare to Dream network is here to introduce people 32:14 to Jesus and to put on display the practicality 32:17 of the gospel. We do that by creating television programs 32:21 that deal with issues that are plaguing inner city residents. 32:25 We are a Bible-based, solution-oriented network. 32:29 If parents are struggling to train up their children 32:31 in the way they should go, they can watch Pumped Up Parents. 32:34 If fathers are having a hard time opening up 32:37 or they just don't know how to be there for their kids, 32:40 they can watch A Father's Heart. 32:42 If someone's struggling with criminal activity, 32:45 they can watch The New Journey. 32:47 If someone doesn't know how to make meals that are both 32:50 delicious and nutritious, they can watch Creative Cooking. 32:53 If you're tired of barely making ends meet, 32:56 you can watch Dollars and Sense. 32:59 We have programs designed with you in mind 33:02 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. 33:05 We need you to partner with us. 33:08 One way you can do so is by sharing Dare to Dream 33:11 with two people. For the future I consider 33:51 two things: one is adaptability and accessibility. 33:56 And so with adaptability... You know, the world has a long 34:01 list of problems, and as time goes on 34:04 the problems change but the solution remains the same 34:07 and the solution is Jesus. 34:09 But I think that as Christians we should have a voice 34:12 for these problems. The world is very vocal 34:15 but Christians need to be vocal as well. 34:18 But we not only need to have a voice. We need to 34:22 live out our Christianity. So it's not enough to talk 34:26 the talk of Christianity but we have to walk the walk 34:29 of Christianity as well. And so that's what D2D wants to do 34:33 is embody that walk and provide people with tips 34:35 and strategies how to live out Christianity. 34:41 Now with accessibility we want to increase the level 34:46 of accessibility to the gospel. And so one of the problems that 34:50 came about was the fact that, you know, in prisons 34:54 volunteers aren't able to go in there. 34:57 And I'm big on prison ministry. 34:59 So where there's a problem some- times there's an opportunity. 35:03 And the opportunity arose for us to get these Interless 35:07 systems, these hard drives, into prisons where we can 35:11 store content on there that will last up to 2 years 35:15 without having to be refreshed. Amen! 35:17 We have to get the gospel behind the walls as well. 35:20 So that's kind of the focus right now for Dare to Dream. 35:24 So we're trying to garner some funds for that cause. 35:27 Amen! Adaptability and accessibility. 35:30 I like it! In the last few seconds we have 35:32 you have a testimony for us. Yes, absolutely. 35:34 One of the viewers was watching an Urban Report interview 35:38 and it was entitled Overcoming Spiritual Depression. 35:41 And he said, you know: "Thank God for this program. 35:45 This is exactly what I needed at this very time. " 35:48 And that was powerful! That was powerful because it's reaching, 35:52 the programs are reaching people where they need to be reached. 35:55 Amen! Just a couple years later 38:55 3ABN Kids Network was launched. 38:58 That would have been August 1, 2013. 39:01 And we're so grateful for the opportunity and privilege 39:04 to be able to minister to God's young people and young at heart. 39:07 Aunt Francine is our general manager of Kids Network 39:11 and let's take a look at her roll. 39:14 We are living in unusual times. 39:17 Families are forced to adapt to the new normal with social 39:20 distancing, wearing masks, and having children 39:23 as co-workers due to their virtual schooling and working 39:27 from home. We are living in a world where there are so many 39:30 stimuli vying for the attention of our children 39:32 with negative influences 39:35 distracting, polluting, and corrupting their minds. 39:38 We have a responsibility to train and guide our children 39:41 in the way they should go that leads them to our Savior 39:44 Jesus Christ. At 3ABN Kids Network 39:46 our mission is to provide quality programming 39:49 and resources to children around the world 39:51 that encourages them to reflect the character of Jesus. 39:55 Programs like Tiny Tots Worship, 39:57 Tiny Tots Kitchen, and Tiny Tots for Jesus 39:59 are influencing the hearts of some of our youngest children 40:02 who want to dedicate their lives to Christ. 40:06 Then we have programs like Bible Treasures, 40:08 Cook 30: for Kids, and Kids Praise Too! 40:11 that encourages mental growth. Many kids enjoy programs 40:14 from our Kids Camp like Bible Gems, 40:17 Bible Buzz, Creation Crafts, Kitchen Fun, and our singalong 40:21 which are not only fun but help kids grow spiritually. 40:25 Many of these programs can be found on YouTube 40:28 so you can watch whenever and wherever you want. 40:31 We are working on a platform on demand 40:35 programming that will make it even easier 40:37 to access programs that you and your kids will love. 40:40 We also have resources like Detectives of Truth 40:43 where there are new lessons each week during this time 40:46 to encourage families to study their Bible together. 40:49 Each one of these lessons has a craft that is far from ordinary 40:53 as we know kids enjoy being creative and active. 40:56 These crafts will help with fine motor skills 40:59 while reinforcing God's Word and Christian values. 41:03 With your support we can reach more children 41:06 and provide many more programs that not only meet the spiritual 41:10 needs but the educational needs that will help children 41:14 develop mentally, spiritually, and physically. 41:17 Would you be willing to partner with us 41:19 by sharing with other families what is happening at our 41:22 3ABN Kids Network? I'm hearing from kids that want 42:16 to participate even from Australia to Rwanda, Nigeria, 42:21 and I'm praying that kids around the world 42:24 will see Jesus and want to be more like Him. 42:27 And so I'm hoping that that is something in the future. 42:30 Hopefully we can include some on radio. We're looking to do that 42:33 too. OK! So maybe some kids can call in. 42:36 We're talking with Mr. Christian 42:39 and participating with radio programming. 42:43 So we're hoping to be able to do that as well. 42:45 Yes... oh, that's very exciting! 42:47 Now I'm sure you get e-mails and letters from people 42:50 over the world. Tell us some testimonies that you get. 42:52 Well, one of them that I really enjoyed is from Isaac. 42:55 And he's only 14 years old but he's a young man, 42:59 and even though it's a kids network he feels like it's... 43:02 it's a program just for him. 43:04 And so even when he's an adult he says: "I believe I'm still 43:07 going to be watching them. " He just finds value 43:10 in seeing who Jesus is. And so... people like that. 43:13 We have young kids as young as 4 like little David. 43:16 He wants to give his heart to Jesus 43:19 and he says: "I will do what- ever Jesus wants me to do. " 43:22 And it's testimonies like that. And we have older people. 43:26 Some that are maybe a grand- parent age like Eleanor. 43:30 She used to be able to watch programs with her husband, 43:33 but unfortunately her husband has passed away. 43:35 And she still finds wonderful programs that she enjoys 43:39 seeing the young people and how they're shining for Jesus. 43:42 And so that's... Again, these are things that are 43:45 wonderful to see. But I also get e-mails of kids wanting to 43:49 participate. And they can by e-mailing me at: 43:57 And we have kids from Malawi that want to come 44:00 and some from West Indies like Abigail. 44:03 So I enjoy just seeing... wonderful programs. 44:07 So hopefully, if you know any- body that wants to participate 44:10 I hope you will e-mail me. Amen! 44:12 So in the few seconds we have left, tell me: what has being 44:15 general manager for Kids Network, what has that done for you 44:18 personally? I have to say I see how Jesus works 44:22 wonderful miracles. It's time and time again! 44:25 I mean, I used to see it in the classroom, but now 44:27 it's very humbling to see God orchestrate different things. 44:30 How the team works and how it's changing lives 44:32 and hearts in young people. Amen! It's just humbling 44:35 constantly. Amen! Thank you for your leadership 44:38 and for the exciting new programming that's coming out 44:40 with 3ABN Kids Network. We're going next to 3ABN Français. 44:44 On September 27, 2014, 44:47 3ABN Français officially launched. 44:51 However, all the way back to 2009 44:53 they had been streaming some programs in French. 44:57 Moses Primo is the director of broadcasting and engineering 45:01 here at 3ABN as well as general manager for 3ABN Français. 45:06 And let's go to that roll right now. 45:10 Imagine being confined in your home 45:13 lonely and running low on the basic necessities of life. 45:18 This has been the reality this year. 45:21 God created us to be social beings 45:25 but the recent events have left many people isolated 45:29 and afraid. Continuing on the journey 45:32 to feel the desire to communicate 45:36 social media platforms began seeing a tremendous increase 45:40 in activity. 3ABN Français recognized that 45:44 people were not only seeking ways of communication 45:48 but that they were hungry for answers to the current events. 45:53 It was of the utmost importance 45:56 that we form a lifeline for people to connect to 46:01 so we developed more programs that strengthen family ties. 46:05 In these highly stressful times 46:08 we created programs that provide practical tools 46:12 to manage stress, anxiety, and depression. 46:16 Ultimately we pointed people to Jesus Christ 46:19 the Author and the Finisher of our faith. 46:22 We answer questions on FaceBook, YouTube, Twitter, 46:28 Instagram, and we created a What's Up? number. 46:39 One important thing that we want to do 46:42 is pray for you, so we dedicated a prayer request 46:47 e- mail address. Our goal is to implement 46:50 Christ's method of evangelism. 46:53 It's like Danny Shelton always says: 47:00 We would not be able to do what we do 47:03 if you didn't catch the vision. " 48:15 So I thought: "Well... let's try. " 48:19 So we sent some inquiries 48:22 and we've started to receive several short videos 48:25 from pastors. So what we are planning to do this year 48:29 is just to have like short videos before the Camp Meeting 48:35 and then tell the audience: "We're going to go to 48:38 3ABN Camp Meeting in the English language 48:41 and then we come back to the French regular programming. " 48:45 This is going to be a preparation, and we are hoping 48:48 that the next year we'll be able to do a French Camp Meeting. 48:52 Oh, that's very exciting! What are some of the needs 48:55 at 3ABN Français? 48:56 Well the first need is prayer. We always ask that the people 49:00 pray for us. We have a direct phone number 49:04 or e-mail address for that and the phone number 49:08 for What's Up? We are trying to work a little 49:12 more on social media. We notice that 49:15 we receive e-mails, we receive text messages 49:20 and that tells us that our audience 49:24 is a little younger and middle aged. Yes. 49:28 Of course, they are different ages. 49:31 But we want to fulfill that targeting audience 49:34 or younger audience with social media 49:38 so we are going to push more of the social media. 49:41 Amen! Do you have any testimony to share with us 49:43 in our last few seconds? Yes, we have several testimonies 49:46 of people that write saying how this programming is being 49:52 a blessing to them. And one testimony that we like 49:57 is when they take the time to encourage us. Yes! 50:00 Just saying how good we are doing and to please don't stop. 50:04 That they enjoy the French programming. 50:07 So it is a blessing to receive testimonies 50:10 from all the viewers. " 51:04 From the moment we rise in the morning 51:06 we pinpoint our attention toward something that we deem 51:10 worthy of our focus, yet our finest possessions, 51:13 our highest personal achievements, 51:16 our dearest relationships... none of these can meet the need 51:19 of connecting with our heavenly Father, 51:22 our Creator, our Redeemer. 51:28 invites us to "worship and bow down. 51:30 Let us kneel before the Lord, our Maker. 51:33 For He is our God and we are the people of His pasture 51:36 and the sheep of His hand. " 51:38 The Praise Him! music network exists to direct the viewer's 51:42 heart and ears above everyday distractions 51:45 to focus on God's goodness, 51:48 His mercy, grace, His love. 51:51 Around the clock around the world 51:53 we are making His praise glorious 51:56 through God-glorifying musical programming, prayer, 51:59 and testimony. Our message is in the music. 52:04 Praise Him! Our aim in our name! 52:08 Praise Him! But as much as God deserves glory 52:12 you and I have the greater need... 52:15 the need to praise. 52:17 Acts 17:25 states that God is not worshiped with men's hands 52:23 as though He needed anything 52:24 since He gives to all life, breath, and all things. 52:29 Focusing our attention on our eternal Father 52:32 lifts our eyes above this troubled world's cares 52:35 and struggles. Songs have always been a means of expression 52:40 and a way to communicate our love and affection. 52:43 As our praises go up, God's Spirit transforms our attitude 52:47 and re-adjusts our gaze from mundane, temporal things 52:52 to the hope for everlasting life found in Jesus Christ. 52:56 Praise Him! is our name but it's also what we do. 53:01 And we invite you to join with viewers around the world 53:04 in giving God the glory for His magnificient greatness. 53:08 Your life will be changed through worship. 53:11 So make Praise Him! part of your day 53:14 and watch the difference praise makes. 53:22 Amen! There's something really special about music. 53:25 How it ministers to the heart and touches the heart 53:27 and leads us to the foot of the cross in a way that even 53:30 the spoken word cannot do. 53:32 I'm here on the set with Tim Parton as our general manager 53:35 of Praise Him! So our goal is to encouarge 54:16 the saints, encourage those who are watching 54:19 and to glorify God in everything we do. 54:23 We have these songs that are 3-1/2, 4 minutes long 54:27 and sometimes it can be overwhelming to come up with - 54:32 as I've mentioned before - to come up with a number of songs 54:36 that will fill up 24 hrs. a day, yes, and for it to be different. 54:40 A lot of our viewers will comment how: "We'd like to see 54:44 some new material. " Well, I encourage you to 54:47 try to get something new out of even the same song. 54:51 But when we focus our mind on Christ 54:54 and allow music to set the mood I think praise has the ability 55:00 to do that. You know they tell us when you're angry 55:02 to count 10 seconds before you say anything? 55:05 Well, we at Praise Him! like to think: "Listen to a song. " 55:10 It's longer than 10 seconds but it will also allow you to 55:14 change your heart, change your mind. 55:17 And you may not like the song, you may not like the style, 55:19 you may not like the singer, but the power is in the music. 55:23 Yes. It's just like when David played for Saul. 55:26 Amen! So I encourage people to listen with an open heart 55:29 and let that music soak in. Amen! 55:32 Now I know you do a program Your Favorites by Request 55:34 which we also air on 3ABN parent. 55:36 And you get requests from all over? It's amazing, Jill. 55:39 I am just always stunned. Every time... I can always tell 55:43 when a program has aired because I will get an e-mail 55:47 from somewhere around the country in a foreign land. 55:50 And what's amazing is: the same song that I grew up singing 55:55 these people thousands of miles away, they know the same song. 56:00 So that just is so endearing to me 56:02 how that we are a part of the family of God 56:05 singing the same songs. Sing- ing about a wonderful Savior. 56:09 And so yeah, it's powerful. And also 56:12 the people have been sending in around Camp Meeting 56:16 they send their memories of how music was impactful. 56:20 They remember a particular song being powerful for them 56:25 in Camp Meeting, so I love the power of music. 56:28 Amen! It's just a wonderful thing. It's really powerful. 56:30 Absolutely. 56:31 I can't believe we're coming down to the end of our hour. 56:34 It's amazing to think how God birthed this network, 56:37 Tim. You know, God gave Danny the vision 56:39 35, 36 years ago 56:42 and how it has grown to a whole family of networks. 56:45 Isn't that amazing? It's a beautiful thing 56:47 for him to be obedient - yes - for Danny to be obedient. 56:51 But that's the call for each of us: to be obedient. 56:55 Amen. Absolutely. You know Danny always says: 56:58 "It's not the messenger... it's the message. " 57:01 So as long at 3ABN is faithful to proclaim 57:04 that undiluted three angels' messages, as long as we 57:07 stick to the Word of God and share that with a lost and dying 57:11 world, God will - I believe that - continue to bless 57:14 this ministry.
