00:01 Music...
00:30 Thank you for joining us at the 3ABN Homecoming Concert 2019.
00:37 we are really excited
00:38 because the singers are singing to the Lord.
00:41 They want to praise God
00:43 and we want you to be part of it.
00:45 That's right... and we are so glad that you have joined us
00:50 because I know that we're going to really be blessed
00:53 with the music here tonight
00:56 and we just want to say, first of all,
00:58 a big thank you to all of those who are going to be sharing
01:02 the talent that God has given them with us tonight.
01:05 Our first group... we have a group tonight...
01:09 we have two... is called, "Redeemed. "
01:12 They sang earlier
01:13 and "Redeemed" began over 10 years ago,
01:16 it was a group of people who enjoy harmonizing together
01:19 to sing powerful and uplifting messages to God.
01:23 They have sung at fundraising events for Asian Aid,
01:26 Women's Retreats...
01:27 Inspire...
01:29 Hope Channel and 3ABN Australia Homecoming
01:31 last year.
01:33 As part of the Ignite Concert in 2017...
01:37 they supported Reggie and Ladye Love Smith.
01:39 They also sang at Ignite this year.
01:42 So, some of you will have seen them there.
01:44 In addition, "Redeemed" have had the opportunity
01:47 to sing for God in Singapore and India.
01:50 They are grateful for the opportunity
01:52 to be God's instruments
01:54 and they come from Stanmore Church.
01:57 So, please relax and enjoy "Redeemed. "
02:00 Pause...
02:23 Piano...
02:36 In a dream
02:41 I was transported
02:49 By the Spirit
02:56 to the heavenly throne
03:02 There stood I
03:07 before the Eternal
03:15 "Lord," I begged
03:19 "What is your name?"
03:25 He said,
03:27 "I am...
03:33 I am
03:39 that to you
03:45 I am wisdom
03:51 truth and mercy
03:57 the Almighty One
04:05 the Lord, your God
04:09 I am...
04:15 I am
04:21 That I am... "
04:27 Then arose
04:33 a mighty chorus
04:39 Saints and angels
04:45 sang before us
04:51 Halleluiah
04:54 I sing Halleluiah
04:57 Halleluiah...
05:03 Praise Him,
05:07 Praise Him...
05:09 Praise Him!
05:15 Rising, His white
05:22 light coursed outward...
05:29 With a mighty voice
05:35 He spoke again...
05:41 "I am
05:47 I am...
05:48 Alpha and Omega
05:52 Who was and is
05:57 King of all kings
06:00 and is still to come
06:05 I am... I am...
06:11 I am...
06:16 That I am. "
06:22 Amen...
06:28 Amen
06:30 A...
06:39 Amen.
06:42 Piano.
06:47 Pause...
06:50 I have to say something...
06:51 that was a beautiful... beautiful harmony...
06:55 it's unbelievable...
06:56 Yes... it's very good.
06:58 Sandra Entermann is no stranger to viewers of 3ABN
07:02 around the world
07:03 and I saw Sandra Entermann the first time at 3ABN.
07:06 She is the youngest of six children
07:10 and grew up in a musical family.
07:12 As a soloist, she has sung in many countries around the world
07:16 on a number of different continents
07:19 and islands on 3ABN and Hope Channel
07:22 as well as with a long list of well-known singers.
07:26 She has released four solo CDs
07:30 and I'd encourage you to consider those,
07:33 and two with her brother, Greg, and sister, Linda,
07:37 as the Entermann Trio.
07:39 She has been involved in a number of other CD projects.
07:43 In normal life, Sandra is actually...
07:46 this is interesting... actually has the record
07:51 as the world's first certified female Glazier...
07:56 but simply... she works with glass.
07:58 Through her music, Sandra desires to lift up Jesus
08:03 and to draw broken people to Him...
08:05 the source of their healing.
08:07 Yes, and with her tonight, we have Sanja Kitevski on piano
08:14 and Sanja is well-known to 3ABN Viewers
08:17 for playing for the children on 3ABN Programs
08:21 and we have Joe Tyler who I see playing guitar...
08:26 bass guitar for Sandra all over the place,
08:28 and he's been doing it for how long?
08:30 Quite a while...
08:32 and Brayden Entermann... is Sandra's nephew.
08:35 Now, Brayden has been working as a Pastor-Associate
08:40 or an Assistant Pastor
08:42 and I think you're going to go into Glazing too.
08:45 So, he's going back to Queensland,
08:47 it's going to be our loss because he actually appears
08:49 on our "Let God Speak" Program.
08:52 "A Day With the King... "
08:53 And "A Day With the King"
08:55 where he's done music
08:57 so, Brayden, we're really grateful
08:59 but right now, these talented people
09:02 are going to give us two items.
09:04 The first one is called, "Wounded Soldier"
09:07 and the second one is, "Complete"
09:10 so, sit back, relax and listen
09:13 to the beautiful sound of Sandra Entermann
09:15 and her friends.
09:17 Thank you.
09:23 Pause...
09:25 Piano...
09:45 See all the wounded
09:49 Hear all their desperate cries for help
09:55 Pleading for shelter
09:58 and for peace
10:03 piano...
10:05 Our comrades are suffering
10:10 Come let us meet them at their need
10:16 Don't let a wounded soldier die...
10:24 piano...
10:26 Come let us pour the oil
10:32 Come let us bind their hurt
10:36 Let's cover them with a blanket
10:40 of His love
10:47 Come let us break the bread
10:53 Come let us give them rest
10:57 Let's minister healing to them
11:03 Don't let another wounded
11:08 soldier
11:13 die...
11:19 piano...
11:33 Obeying their orders
11:39 They fought on the front lines for our King
11:44 Capturing the enemy's
11:48 stronghold
11:55 And weakened from battle
11:59 Satan crept in to steal their lives
12:05 Don't let a wounded soldier
12:10 die...
12:15 Come let us pour the oil
12:22 Come let us bind their hurt
12:27 Let's cover them with the blanket
12:31 of his love...
12:37 Come let us break the bread
12:43 Come let us give them rest
12:48 Let's minister healing to them
12:53 Don't let another wounded
12:58 soldier
13:03 die...
13:08 Come let us pour the oil
13:16 Come let us bind their hurt
13:20 Let's cover them with a blanket
13:25 of His love
13:31 Come let us break the bread
13:37 Come let us give them rest
13:42 Let's minister healing to them
13:47 Don't let another wounded...
13:52 We can't let another wounded
13:57 soldier
14:03 die.
14:10 Piano..
14:16 Amen.
14:19 Piano...
14:37 Here I am,
14:40 O God
14:43 I bring this sacrifice
14:46 My open heart
14:51 I offer up my life
14:55 I look to You, Lord
14:59 Your love that never ends
15:04 Restores me again
15:09 So I lift my eyes to You Lord
15:19 In Your strength will I break through Lord
15:27 Touch me now,
15:32 let Your love fall down on me
15:38 I know Your love dispels all my fears
15:44 Through the storm I will hold on Lord
15:53 And by faith
15:56 I will walk on Lord
16:01 Then I'll see beyond my Calvary
16:09 one day
16:11 and I will be complete in You.
16:19 Piano...
16:25 Here I am,
16:27 Oh God
16:31 I bring this sacrifice
16:33 My open heart,
16:38 I offer up my life
16:42 I look to You, Lord
16:46 Your love that never ends
16:51 Restores me again
16:57 So I lift my eyes
17:01 to You Lord
17:05 In Your strength
17:07 will I break through Lord
17:12 Touch me now,
17:16 let Your love fall down
17:19 on me
17:22 I know your love dispels all my fears
17:28 Through the storm
17:32 I will walk on Lord
17:36 And by faith
17:39 I will walk on Lord
17:44 Then I'll see
17:47 beyond my Calvary
17:51 one day
17:53 And I will be complete in...
17:58 I will be complete in..
18:03 I will be complete in
18:08 You.
18:15 Audience: Amen.
18:23 Pause...
18:27 Thank you Sandra, Brayden, Joe and Sanja,
18:31 wasn't that beautiful?
18:33 I think it was exceptional.
18:34 I do... now, one of the instruments
18:37 that I have really enjoyed
18:40 is listening to the Cello
18:43 because when you get a good Cello coming through music,
18:47 it just... I don't know... it just seems to fill it out.
18:49 It does.
18:51 And my mother's grandfather...
18:53 actually that's one of the instruments
18:54 that he used to teach at an academy in London
18:57 so, I think the Cello is beautiful
19:00 and this time, we have Stephen Aveling-Rowe
19:03 and he's going to be playing the Cello
19:06 and Stephen has been playing the Cello
19:08 since he was five years old
19:10 and we first remember seeing him carrying his Cello around
19:14 at AYC in 2008.
19:16 He was only in Primary School then... when we saw him...
19:20 now, he has gone on to bigger and brighter things in music
19:24 and he's currently studying at Avondale University College
19:28 in Cooranbong.
19:30 Stephen Aveling-Rowe is a very talented man
19:32 and part of a family who's very talented.
19:34 He'll be playing for us, "Longing for Revival"
19:38 and his mother, Merilyn Aveling-Rowe
19:41 is playing the Piano, and it's Psalm 80 arrangement
19:44 of a Psalter number 221.
19:47 Pause...
19:57 Tuning...
20:07 Piano...
20:19 Cello
20:22 My Jesus, I love Thee,
20:26 I know Thou art mine;
20:32 For Thee all the follies
20:38 of sin I resign;
20:43 My gracious Redeemer,
20:49 my Savior art Thou;
20:55 If ever I loved Thee,
21:01 my Jesus, 'tis now.
21:06 Great Shepherd Who leadest Thy people in love,
21:11 'Mid cherubim dwelling, shine Thou from above;
21:16 in might come and save us, they people restore,
21:22 and we shall be saved
21:26 when they face shines
21:31 once more.
21:33 When Thou shalt revive us,
21:36 Thy name we will praise,
21:40 And nevermore, turning, depart from Thy ways;
21:45 O Lord God Almighty, in mercy restore,
21:51 And we shall be saved when Thy face shines once more.
21:59 Cello...
22:19 My Jesus, I love Thee
22:24 I know Thou art mine;
22:30 For Thee all the follies
22:35 of sin I resign;
22:41 My gracious Redeemer,
22:47 my Savior art Thou;
22:53 Cello...
22:57 If ever I loved Thee,
23:06 my Jesus,
23:12 'tis now.
23:17 Audience: Amen.
23:23 Thank you Stephen... thank you very, very much
23:27 and Merilyn too for playing for him.
23:29 We have a very special person now... you can read it.
23:34 I wonder why she's special.
23:36 Diane Hope is a Registered Nurse and a gifted singer
23:39 that uses her talents to minister to her patients.
23:43 A native of the Philippines,
23:46 she has lived in Australia since 2014
23:49 and is part of the 3ABN Australia family.
23:52 Her husband, James,
23:54 is our Technical Director at 3ABN Australia
23:57 and according to her...
23:58 her role is to make the Director happy.
24:01 What would you expect any more from a wife?
24:04 She also enjoys cooking and serving others
24:06 in whatever way she can.
24:09 She has a special gift of hospitality
24:12 and her cheerfulness makes her a favorite
24:14 with hospital patients.
24:16 She's special to us as she is part of our family.
24:20 So, she is a special girl.
24:22 And Diane is going to be singing a beautiful song,
24:26 "My Tribute"
24:28 and Sanja and Sandra are going to be accompanying her.
24:32 Pause...
24:54 Piano...
25:00 How can I say thanks
25:04 For all the things that You've done for me?
25:11 Things so undeserved
25:18 Yet You gave to prove Your love for me;
25:24 The voices of a million angels
25:30 Could not express my gratitude
25:37 All that I am and ever hope to be
25:43 I owe it all to Thee
25:51 To God be the glory
25:58 To God be the glory,
26:05 To God be the glory...
26:11 For the things He has done
26:18 With His blood He has saved me
26:25 With His power He has raised me;
26:31 To God be the glory
26:38 For the things He has done
26:45 Just let me live my life
26:50 Let it be pleasing, Lord to Thee
26:57 And should I gain
27:01 any praise
27:04 Let it go to Calvary
27:11 With His blood He has saved me
27:18 With His power He has raised me;
27:25 To God be the glory
27:31 For the things He has done
27:38 Just let me live
27:41 my life
27:44 Let it be pleasing, Lord to Thee
27:51 And should I gain
27:54 any praise
27:57 Let it go to Calvary
28:05 With His blood He has saved me
28:12 With His power He has raised me;
28:19 To God be the glory
28:25 For the things, He has done
28:32 For the things
28:36 He has
28:39 done.
28:42 Audience: Amen.
28:45 And who have we got next?
28:47 We've got "Persuaded. "
28:49 "Persuaded" began in 2012 from members in the Waitara Church.
28:53 They have sung in many places around Sydney and yonder
28:56 and are happy to go wherever they are invited.
28:59 Their music is always appreciated.
29:02 They are not professionals
29:04 but love to praise God through music.
29:06 By profession they are... and have been...
29:09 nurses, lawyers, teachers, doctors, software engineer,
29:14 and TV Director.
29:15 So, "Persuaded" are very persuasive...
29:19 they have quite a few very smart people
29:23 but they also sound good for God
29:26 and they're going to be singing a beautiful song,
29:29 "Sitting at the feet of Jesus"
29:32 and Sanja Kitevski is once again going to be playing for them.
29:36 Pause...
29:53 Piano...
30:02 Sitting at the feet of Jesus,
30:10 Oh, what words I hear Him say!
30:18 Happy place! so near, so precious!
30:27 May it find me there each day;
30:35 Sitting at the feet of Jesus,
30:44 I would look upon the past;
30:53 For His love has been so gracious,
31:01 It has won my heart at last.
31:10 Piano...
31:14 Sitting at the feet of Jesus
31:22 Where can mortals be more blest?
31:30 There I lay my sins and sorrows,
31:39 And, when weary, find sweet rest;
31:47 Sitting at the feet of Jesus,
31:55 There I love to weep and pray;
32:04 While I from His fullness gather
32:12 Grace and comfort every day.
32:21 Piano...
32:26 Bless me, O my Savior, bless me,
32:33 As I sit low at Thy feet;
32:41 Oh, look down in love upon me,
32:49 May I see Thy face so sweet;
32:58 Give me, Lord, the mind of Jesus,
33:06 Make me holy as He is;
33:14 May I prove I've been with Jesus,
33:22 Who is all my righteousness.
33:31 He is all my righteousness...
33:39 He is all
33:46 my righteousness.
33:54 Audience: Amen.
34:00 Thank you...
34:05 didn't "Persuaded" persuade you
34:07 that He is our righteousness?
34:09 And next, we have Marleta Fong
34:11 who is not a stranger to most people,
34:14 she sang at our Homecoming last year
34:16 and she's sung in a number of countries
34:20 including in the U.S. and ASI and GYC
34:23 and Marleta and Sanja who is going to play for Marleta
34:27 are both nurses who love sharing through music
34:31 that God loves people more than anything.
34:35 Marleta is soon to release her third CD
34:38 with Sanja on piano and vocal backing
34:41 and you can follow them on Facebook at: Marleta Fong Music
34:47 for the release of that new CD.
34:51 Thank you.
34:52 Marleta is a very gifted singer
34:53 and she's going to be singing for us,
34:55 "The Alabaster Box"
34:56 and Sanja is accompanying her.
34:57 Thank you.
35:01 Pause...
35:10 Piano...
35:20 The room grew still
35:24 As she made her way to Jesus
35:28 She stumbles through tears that made her blind
35:36 She felt such pain
35:40 Some spoke in anger
35:44 Heard folks whisper
35:46 There's no place here for her kind
35:53 Still on she came
35:56 Through the shame that flushed her face
35:59 Until at last, she knelt before His feet
36:08 And though she spoke no words
36:12 Everything she said was heard
36:15 As she poured her love for the Master
36:20 From her box of alabaster
36:26 And I've come to pour
36:31 My praise on Him
36:33 Like oil
36:36 from Mary's alabaster box
36:42 Piano...
36:44 Don't be angry if I wash His feet with my tears
36:50 And I dry them
36:53 with my hair
36:57 You weren't there
37:03 the night He found me
37:06 You did not feel what I felt
37:10 When He wrapped His loving arms around me
37:14 And you don't know the cost
37:18 of the oil
37:20 In my alabaster box
37:26 Piano...
37:31 I can't forget
37:33 the way life used to be
37:37 I was a prisoner
37:39 to the sin that had me bound
37:45 Piano...
37:46 And I spent my days
37:49 Poured my life without measure
37:53 Into a little treasure box
37:56 I'd thought I'd found
38:01 Until the day
38:04 when Jesus came to me
38:07 And healed my soul
38:10 With the wonder of His love
38:15 So now I'm giving back to Him
38:19 All the praise He's worthy of
38:22 I've been forgiven
38:25 And that's why
38:26 I love Him so much
38:33 And I've come to pour
38:38 My praise on Him
38:40 Like oil from Mary's alabaster box
38:48 Piano...
38:50 Don't be angry if I wash His feet with my tears
38:56 And I dry them
38:59 with my hair
39:04 Because you weren't there
39:08 the night Jesus found me
39:11 You did not feel what I felt
39:15 When He wrapped his loving arms
39:18 around me
39:20 And you don't know the cost
39:22 of the oil
39:26 No, you don't know the cost
39:29 of my praise
39:35 You don't know the cost
39:37 of the oil
39:39 In my alabaster
39:45 box...
39:50 box.
39:56 Audience: Amen.
40:00 That was powerful.
40:02 Thank you Marleta.
40:03 Now we have...
40:05 David Aitken...
40:06 David Aitken.
40:08 David heard a Steve Green song called, "We Believe"
40:12 while in hospital recovering from back surgery
40:15 at the age of 34.
40:16 He was convicted to share the message
40:19 and he learned the song...
40:21 though he'd never sung in public before,
40:23 he practiced in the shower.
40:24 Then his wife... his good wife, Lynne,
40:27 who is still his wife
40:29 decided to document a church to do a special item.
40:33 So he is living proof
40:36 that God asks for availability not ability...
40:39 so, he's gone on and done an awful lot more since
40:43 and he's made a CD which he did in Nashville
40:46 and David has two adult children
40:48 and three grandchildren,
40:50 so, what's he singing?
40:52 David is singing, "The Solid Rock. "
40:54 So, here's David Aitken.
40:56 Pause...
41:02 Music...
41:24 More music...
42:12 My hope is built on nothing less
42:16 Than Jesus' blood and righteousness;
42:22 I dare not trust the sweetest frame,
42:28 But wholly lean on Jesus' name.
42:34 On Christ, the solid Rock, I stand;
42:40 All other ground is sinking sand,
42:47 All other ground is sinking sand.
42:54 Music...
43:00 When darkness veils His lovely face,
43:03 I rest on His unchanging grace;
43:10 In every high and stormy gale,
43:15 My anchor holds within the veil.
43:23 On Christ, the solid Rock, I stand;
43:27 All other ground is sinking sand,
43:34 All other ground is sinking sand.
43:42 Music...
43:47 His oath, His covenant, His blood,
43:51 Support me in the whelming flood;
43:58 When all around my soul gives way,
44:03 He then is all my hope
44:08 and stay.
44:17 When He shall come
44:21 with trumpet sound,
44:24 O may I then
44:27 in Him be found;
44:33 Dressed in His righteousness alone,
44:39 Faultless to stand
44:43 before the throne.
44:52 On Christ, the solid Rock I stand;
44:56 All other ground is sinking sand,
45:02 All other ground is sinking sand.
45:11 All other ground is
45:14 sinking sand.
45:17 On Christ the solid
45:21 Rock
45:24 I
45:27 stand...
45:33 stand
45:37 stand,
45:42 stand.
45:47 Audience: Amen...
45:49 Clapping.
45:50 Thank you David.
45:52 Well, I think I'd like to sing like that, wouldn't you?
45:56 You know, I'm very privileged because
46:00 the lady that is assistant to the General Manager...
46:04 she's going to be singing next
46:05 and I could spend the whole evening
46:08 just telling you about her good points
46:10 because they are amazing...
46:13 she's an amazing lady
46:14 and, you know, I met her the first time
46:17 when I heard her singing at a big annual conference
46:21 with the church here in Australia
46:23 and I never thought that one day she would become my wife,
46:26 but together, God has blessed us
46:29 and I really look forward to her singing each time.
46:33 She doesn't go out and push herself,
46:35 She just quietly goes about it
46:37 and wherever we worked in the mission field
46:39 around the world,
46:40 Rosemary always sang for the glory of God
46:43 and she's going to be singing for us,
46:45 "At the Cross... "
46:47 John: No it's not... Rosemary: Yes it is.
46:50 "At the Cross" it is.
46:52 Rosemary: Yes it is.
46:53 So, sit back and enjoy it,
46:56 she's a beautiful lady... I'm saying that...
46:58 she's got no option to that, have you darling?
47:00 God bless.
47:02 It is, "At the Cross. "
47:04 Music...
47:15 Alas, and did
47:19 my Savior bleed?
47:25 And did my Sovereign die?
47:35 Would He devote
47:41 that sacred head
47:47 For such a one
47:51 as I?
47:56 At the cross, at the cross
48:02 where I first saw the light
48:07 And the burden of my heart
48:13 rolled away,
48:18 It was there by faith
48:24 I received my sight,
48:29 And now I'm happy all the day!
48:39 Music...
48:46 Was it for crimes
48:50 that I had done,
48:56 He groaned upon
49:01 the tree?
49:06 Amazing pity!
49:12 grace unknown!
49:17 And love beyond degree!
49:27 At the cross, at the cross
49:32 where I first saw the light,
49:38 And the burden of my heart
49:44 rolled away,
49:48 It was there by faith
49:54 I received my sight,
50:00 And now I am happy
50:05 all the day!
50:10 Music...
50:19 Ooooh
50:22 oh...
50:26 At the cross, at the cross
50:31 where I first saw the light
50:37 And the burden of my heart
50:42 rolled away,
50:47 It was there by faith
50:53 I received my sight
51:01 And now I am happy
51:06 all the day.
51:16 Oooooh...
51:25 Pause...
51:31 Boy! we've packed a lot of songs into this hour
51:35 and that was beautiful, Rosemary,
51:37 I knew you would do well.
51:38 I love that song, that's a beautiful song.
51:40 It's a 3ABN song that Reggie Smith usually sings.
51:44 Hmmm...
51:46 We've got Stephen Aveling-Rowe.
51:48 Yes, you know we have a...
51:50 Did you take note of the... the organ here?
51:53 It is beautiful
51:55 and to hear that play in a special item,
51:58 Stephen is going to be doing Concerto in G: 1 Allegro...
52:03 it's BWV 592 J.S. Bach.
52:09 Now, I've got something to tell you about him though
52:12 but I don't have my sheet here
52:13 so I've got to try and remember,
52:15 I didn't mention before but when he played the Cello,
52:20 he's the Principal Cellist in three orchestras
52:25 so, that's pretty good.
52:27 He's also done his L Mus. A which is high...
52:32 and got distinction for it.
52:33 It's higher than an A Mus. A...
52:36 he got it on Pipe Organ
52:38 so, he's now going to play a Pipe Organ
52:41 so, I think that's pretty good to get him to play this
52:45 when he got a high distinction for it.
52:47 Well, I know that he's traveled all over Europe
52:51 and played in those big cathedrals
52:53 that everyone says, "I wish I want to go
52:54 and see one day. "
52:55 He's played the organ in those cathedrals
52:58 and I think this is a special chance
53:02 for each one of us to sit back and listen
53:06 to how organ should sound, thank you Stephen.
53:09 Pause...
53:19 Stephen playing the Organ.
56:43 Audience: Amen.
56:45 Thank you Steve
56:47 and thank you everybody who's been part of this night,
56:50 I'm sure that you have all been blessed
56:53 and so, we thank God and I'd like to close with prayer,
56:58 okay...
56:59 "Father in heaven,
57:01 we just thank you for the gift of music...
57:03 we thank you that we can be part of the music...
57:08 but even if we don't have musical ability,
57:11 we can still have musical enjoyment
57:13 and that we will all sing together
57:15 in the kingdom of heaven
57:17 when we are there with the angels
57:20 and we thank you for that promise,
57:22 in Jesus' name, amen. "
