00:19 I'm Kelly Mowrer, and before we begin to read, 00:22 let's pray together. 00:23 Dear Jesus, thank You for this book of Revelation. 00:27 We'll read some things in here that we won't understand unless 00:32 Your Holy Spirit is guiding our minds. 00:34 Please send that Spirit of truth to guide us into all truth. 00:38 We know that Your word is truth, and we want to take Your word 00:42 into our very being as the bread of life. 00:44 Thank You for loving us. 00:46 We love You so much. 00:47 Amen. 00:48 When we were last together we were reading in Revelation 00:51 the letters to the churches. 00:53 One that really struck me was the letter to Ephesus. 00:56 All the good works that God wrote that He saw that they were 00:59 doing for Him, and yet He said to them, you've lost your 01:02 first love, return to Me, your first love. 01:05 That's what we need to all of us, I'm sure, remember and keep 01:09 in our minds the need to not lose our first love of God. 01:12 The way to do that is to be in His word more and more. 01:16 Let's continue now Revelation 2, and verse 18. 01:20 And unto the angel of the church in Thyatira write; These things 01:25 saith the Son of God, who hath his eyes like unto a flame of 01:28 fire, and his feet are like fine brass; I know thy works, 01:33 and charity, and service, and faith, and thy patience, 01:37 and thy works; and the last to be more than the first. 01:41 Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, 01:45 because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth 01:50 herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants 01:54 to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed 01:57 unto idols. 01:58 And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; 02:02 and she repented not. 02:03 Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit 02:07 adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent 02:12 of their deeds. 02:13 And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches 02:16 shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: 02:21 and I will give unto every one of you according to your works. 02:25 But unto you I say, and unto the rest in Thyatira, as many as 02:30 have not this doctrine, and which have not known the depths 02:33 of Satan, as they speak; I will put upon you none other burden. 02:37 But that which ye have already hold fast till I come. 02:41 And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, 02:45 to him will I give power over the nations: and he shall rule 02:50 them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they 02:53 be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father. 02:57 And I will give him the morning star. 03:00 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith 03:05 unto the churches. 03:06 We're continuing in Revelation, chapter 3, and this is the 03:10 King James Version. 03:11 And unto the angel of the church in Sardis write; These things 03:16 saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven 03:20 stars; I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou 03:24 livest, and art dead. 03:26 Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, 03:30 that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works 03:34 perfect before God. 03:35 Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold 03:41 fast, and repent. 03:42 If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a 03:47 thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee. 03:50 Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled 03:54 their garments; and they shall walk with me in white: 03:57 for they are worthy. 03:59 He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white 04:03 raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of 04:07 life, but I will confess his name before my Father, 04:10 and before his angels. 04:11 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith 04:16 unto the churches. 04:17 And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; and knowest not that thou art 06:23 wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked: 06:27 I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou 06:34 mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be 06:37 clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; 06:41 and anoint thine eyes with eye salve, that thou mayest see. 06:46 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, 06:52 and repent. 06:53 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my 06:57 voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, 07:00 and will sup with him, and he with me. 07:03 To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my 07:07 throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father 07:13 in his throne. 07:14 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit 07:18 saith unto the churches. 07:20 We're continuing now with Revelation, chapter 4. 07:24 This is the King James Version. 07:26 After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in 07:31 heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of 07:36 a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will 07:40 show thee things which must be hereafter. 07:43 And immediately I was in the Spirit: and, behold, a throne 07:49 was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne. 07:52 And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine 07:57 stone: and there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight 08:02 like unto an emerald. 08:03 And round about the throne were four and twenty seats: and upon 08:08 the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white 08:12 raiment; 08:53 and they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day 08:57 and night, saying Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, 09:03 which was, and is, and is to come. 09:07 And when those beasts give glory and honor and thanks to him that 09:12 sat on the throne, who liveth for ever and ever, the four and 09:15 twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, 09:19 and worship him that liveth forever and ever, and cast their 09:24 crowns before the throne, saying, Thou art worthy, O Lord, 09:28 to receive glory and honor and power: for thou hast created 09:33 all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created. 09:38 Continuing to read Revelation chapter 5, and this is the 09:42 and this is the King James Version. 09:43 And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne 09:48 a book written within and on the backside, sealed with 09:53 seven seals. 09:54 And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, 09:59 Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof? 10:03 And no man in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, 10:09 was able to open the book, neither to look thereon. 10:12 And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and to 10:18 read the book, neither to look thereon. 10:21 And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion 10:27 of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open 10:33 the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof. 10:36 And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the 10:42 four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it 10:47 had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are 10:52 the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth. 10:55 And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him 10:59 that sat upon the throne. 11:01 And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and 11:05 twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of 11:10 them harps, and golden vials full of odors, which are the 11:14 prayers of saints. 11:16 And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take 11:21 the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, 11:25 and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, 11:30 and tongue, and people, and nation; and hast made us unto 11:35 our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth. 11:39 And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about 11:44 the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of 11:48 them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands 11:52 of thousands; saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that 11:57 was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, 12:02 and strength, and honor, and glory, and blessing. 12:07 And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, 12:10 and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are 12:15 in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honor, and glory, 12:20 and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, 12:23 and unto the Lamb forever and ever. 12:27 And the four beasts said, Amen. 12:30 And the four and twenty elders fell down and worshiped him 12:34 that liveth forever and ever. 12:37 We're continuing to read in Revelation, chapter 6. 12:42 And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, 12:46 as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, 12:50 Come and see. 12:51 And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him 12:57 had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went 13:00 forth conquering, and to conquer. 13:03 And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second 13:08 beast say, Come and see. 13:10 And there went out another horse that was red: and power 13:13 was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the 13:16 earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was 13:19 given unto him a great sword. 13:21 And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast 13:25 say, Come and see. 13:27 And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him 13:32 had a pair of balances in his hand. 13:34 And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, 13:38 A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley 13:42 for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine. 13:46 And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice 13:49 of the fourth beast say, Come and see. 13:51 And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on 13:55 him was Death, and Hell followed with him. 13:58 And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the 14:01 earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, 14:04 and with the beasts of the earth. 14:06 And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the 14:10 souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the 14:14 testimony which they held: and they cried with a loud voice, 14:17 saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge 14:22 and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth? 14:25 And white robes were given unto every one of them;
