00:22 - Hello and welcome to "Jesus for Asia Now."
00:25 I'm Natalie Wood and my husband, Jon, is joining me today.
00:28 Hello love.
00:29 - Hi darling. How are you?
00:30 - I'm doing fine.
00:31 - That's awesome.
00:33 - I'm excited about our story today
00:34 because it talks about somebody
00:35 who is finding that Christ is taking care of her every need.
00:40 - Yes.
00:41 - But, it's a lot more than that.
00:42 - Oh, yeah.
00:44 The way that the Lord has led her into this place
00:45 is just a beautiful story.
00:47 - Right.
00:48 But, first let's meet the pastor
00:49 who's been working with her.
00:50 - Okay.
00:51 His name is Pastor Padmanapan.
00:53 And I'm sure that all of our viewing audience
00:55 will be able to say that precisely, first time they hear it.
00:57 - No. - [Jon] No.
00:58 - 'Cause we can't either.
01:00 - (laughing) We're not even sure we're saying it right.
01:02 - [Natalie] Right.
01:03 - But, is a wonderful man and his wife is just amazing.
01:06 In fact,
01:07 we featured him and his wife on a previous show
01:09 talking about some of the miracles that God has done
01:12 in their lives.
01:13 - Right.
01:14 - Very inspiring.
01:14 - Right.
01:15 - When he met Christ,
01:17 he was so in love with Christ that he started his own church
01:21 and he was teaching all that he knew from the Bible.
01:25 But, then he met one of our Bible workers.
01:27 He learned about the Sabbath.
01:30 And he said, I want my whole church to know about this.
01:33 So, don't baptize me yet
01:36 because I want to introduce the teachings to my church
01:39 before they have a chance to put up the prejudice walls,
01:43 you know, walls of prejudice.
01:44 And so he started teaching,
01:47 bringing these teachings into his church
01:49 and the congregation was accepting.
01:51 And then he started inviting some of our Bible workers
01:54 to preach in his church.
01:56 And little by little,
01:58 they started accepting and more and more
02:01 started being baptized.
02:02 - Right.
02:03 And now from last I heard,
02:05 almost the entire church has accepted these doctrines
02:08 and these truths and have been baptized.
02:11 - Yes, when we were there in 2019,
02:13 we got to visit his church
02:14 and I got to preach in this church.
02:16 - Okay. So, we have a few pictures.
02:18 - Yes.
02:19 - [Natalie] So, this is the exterior picture of the church.
02:21 - [Jon] Yep.
02:22 And this is the interior of the church.
02:23 This is taken from about halfway up.
02:25 - [Natalie] Okay.
02:26 - [Jon] And then this is before
02:28 I was getting ready to preach,
02:30 you can see it at churches packed out.
02:32 - Yeah.
02:33 - And he's a beautiful man, a very good preacher,
02:35 very on fire for God,
02:37 just really excited to know about God
02:39 and the truth that he's learning and that he's growing in.
02:43 - Wow. Awesome.
02:44 - Yeah.
02:45 So, I took a little clip from a previous video
02:47 that we showed in a previous episode of "Jesus for Asia Now"
02:50 to show you who pastor Padmanapan is
02:53 and give you a little glimpse of who this young lady is.
02:56 - [Natalie] Okay.
02:57 (singing in foreign language)
03:06 - We're here in Southern India.
03:08 We just worshiped, just finished worship
03:10 in a church right behind me.
03:13 It's a rather large church for this part of the world,
03:16 for Seventh-day Adventist Church.
03:18 And it's got a very interesting story of how it came to be
03:22 a Seventh-day Adventist Church.
03:24 (speaking in foreign language)
03:26 - My name is Pastor Padmanapan.
03:28 I'm working in the place called Krishnaburam.
03:31 I was working in the military as a police.
03:35 And after that, I came to know about Jesus.
03:39 And I became a Christian.
03:41 The place where, right now, I'm working is full of Hindus.
03:44 When I first started this work of the ministry
03:48 as a Christian, there was so many opposition.
03:52 (speaking in foreign language)
03:55 and God told me, "Anything which comes against you
04:00 "will not affect you.
04:01 "If one comes in one way, I will split into seven ways.
04:05 "And that will go off from you."
04:07 Since I was a military man,
04:08 and I have the promise of the Lord,
04:12 I've got this courage to do the work of the Lord,
04:15 amidst this lot of problematic areas,
04:18 amidst these Hindus people.
04:19 They said, there is a man who have come to capture people
04:23 for Christianity.
04:24 Don't allow him inside this village.
04:27 (speaking in foreign language)
04:28 Wherever I went, there were devil possessions.
04:31 We prayed and devil fled from those people.
04:34 God was blessing my ministry like that.
04:37 (speaking in foreign language)
04:39 In my church, members were gathering, added up.
04:42 We were worshiping on Sundays,
04:44 but one time, one lady, called Manogry,
04:47 she came and told us about this remanent truth,
04:51 about the Sabbath truth.
04:53 (soft piano music)
05:05 - She alerted some of our JFA Bible workers
05:08 about his openness.
05:10 And so, three of our Bible workers,
05:13 pastor Thomas, sister Jennifer and sister Susan came
05:17 and started meeting with him and conducted Bible studies
05:20 over the course of several months.
05:22 And he was so excited about this new truth
05:24 that he was finding.
05:26 He says, I've never heard this before. This is so wonderful.
05:27 I'm so happy to know this new truth.
05:30 (speaking in foreign language)
05:32 - The Bible says in Genesis 2:3,
05:35 "If you observe the Sabbath and keep it holy,
05:37 "God will bless you."
05:38 I was moved by this message,
05:40 which I have not heard in my life before.
05:43 I accepted that message.
05:45 - And he says, but if I come and accept the truth,
05:48 then my church, my members won't understand
05:52 and they'll all leave.
05:53 And so he says, let's do this wisely.
05:55 And they did Bible studies for several months.
05:58 And then he and his wife were baptized.
06:01 And then he kept preaching in his church.
06:04 and then he started inviting the Bible workers
06:06 to preach in his church on Sundays.
06:08 And over the course of a year or two,
06:11 almost his entire congregation
06:13 has changed over to the Seventh-day Adventist Church .
06:16 (speaking in foreign language)
06:18 - We, not only me, even my church members
06:22 accepted this truth and started to believe.
06:25 And now as a family, as a whole church,
06:28 we have accepted this truth and took baptism
06:31 in this remanent church.
06:33 Now, our church is a Seventh-day Adventist Church.
06:36 Whenever there is a big revival meeting in our church,
06:40 there are people always ready for baptism,
06:43 five, six, seven people are there accepting Jesus.
06:48 And they are coming forward to take baptism.
06:51 (soft piano music)
07:01 - Okay, You notice the lady that was before the last man,
07:04 she was standing in the baptismal tank?
07:06 - Yeah, with the green and yellow, blue sari.
07:09 - Yeah. She's the one that this episode is about.
07:12 - Okay.
07:14 So, when I was there, the Pastor Padmanapan,
07:16 he said, this lady is interested in becoming baptized,
07:21 but he told me that the reason why she was nervous
07:24 about being baptized is that her family would disown her.
07:29 And she was a widow. Her husband had passed away.
07:32 Her children had gone and they had their own careers.
07:35 And so, she was afraid that she was gonna go hungry.
07:41 And so I told her trust in God.
07:44 If God is leading you,
07:46 he will provide for you.
07:47 He'll take care of you.
07:48 - Yeah.
07:49 And so with some tears, she said, okay.
07:52 And she was baptized that day.
07:54 - Wow.
07:56 And then I found out that she knows how to do sewing
07:58 because as a widow, you know,
08:00 we have the Widows Sewing School.
08:01 - Right.
08:03 - I thought, well, maybe we can teach her.
08:04 - Teach her to sew.
08:05 - [Jon] But, she already knows.
08:07 - Okay.
08:08 - So, I said to Israel and the people there locally,
08:10 I says, you have to find a place to set her up
08:13 in a business.
08:16 Please do this for her. Normally we don't do that.
08:20 We usually baptize people and then, you know,
08:24 let them fend for themselves.
08:26 But, you know, that's not what Christ did.
08:29 - Right.
08:30 - And so I says, you know,
08:31 and then over the next few months,
08:33 I kept inquiring about how she doing,
08:36 did she have a business, what's going on?
08:40 - So, before you get into that part of the story too far,
08:42 we do have a video from her baptism.
08:44 - Okay.
08:46 (soft piano music)
08:56 (speaking in foreign language)
09:01 - [Female Translator] I come from a Hindu background
09:04 and I used to have a lot of mental difficulties.
09:07 I was very depressed because my husband was a heavy drinker.
09:10 He couldn't go without drinking for even an hour.
09:13 So, I left him and went to live with my mother.
09:16 Then I became even more depressed
09:18 and thought that I should just kill myself.
09:21 But, the one thing that kept me from doing it
09:23 was my two daughters.
09:25 They were my only hope.
09:27 And I decided that I should at least live for their sakes,
09:30 but I was still having mental problems.
09:33 My relatives and friends said that I was mentally retarded
09:36 and decided to put me in a hospital for awhile.
09:40 Then, one of my older sisters came
09:42 and told me that I should to to a Christian Church.
09:45 You will find healing there, she told me.
09:48 So, she took me to a church and I went there for a while,
09:51 but I still didn't feel completely healed.
09:59 After a while I moved from my mother's house to this house.
10:02 And since my church was a long distance from here,
10:05 I started looking for a new church.
10:07 I found a church that was close by and started going to it.
10:11 But, this church was very different than the other one.
10:14 So, I started asking Pastor Padmanapan questions.
10:30 I said, why are you worshiping on Sabbath?
10:32 You're supposed to worship on Sunday.
10:34 Sunday is the day we have to worship the Lord.
10:38 Pastor Padmanapan showed me from the Bible
10:40 that Saturday is the true Sabbath.
10:43 He encouraged me to keep it and see how God would bless me.
10:46 He encouraged me to obey God and trust that he would help me
10:49 with my health problems and be with me.
10:52 By now, my husband had passed away also.
10:55 So, I was a complete widow.
10:57 As my two daughters and I started to keep the Sabbath,
11:00 we began to see improvements in my health.
11:03 I was recovering and all my suicidal thoughts were gone.
11:07 Now, I don't think about killing myself anymore.
11:10 I want to live and be a witness for the Lord.
11:15 When some of my old friends saw that I was going to church
11:18 on Saturday, they started asking me questions.
11:21 So, I shared with them about the true Sabbath,
11:24 my daughters and I continued to study the Bible together
11:27 and God taught us many more things and answered our prayers.
11:31 Then I decided to be baptized
11:33 and was baptized into the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
11:36 (singing in foreign language)
11:50 - And so that's how she not only found Jesus,
11:53 but she found healing through Christ
11:55 and worshiping on the true Sabbath day.
11:58 - Yeah.
11:59 That's a beautiful story.
12:01 You know, I'd like to know the story
12:02 of her older sister too,
12:04 that told her, you need to go to a Christian Church
12:06 to find healing.
12:07 - Yeah.
12:09 - I think we'll have to get some more information
12:10 about that, I think.
12:12 And the next part of our story
12:13 goes into what God has done since then.
12:16 - Yes, absolutely.
12:18 - But first, we have a picture of all the people
12:20 who were baptized that day with her.
12:22 - [Jon] So, the person on the far right
12:25 is Pastor Padmanapan and his wife is on the far left.
12:29 - [Natalie] Okay.
12:31 And standing right beside his wife is sister Asha.
12:34 - [Natalie] Okay.
12:35 - Her name is kind of unique.
12:36 Sometimes I hear Asha. Sometimes I hear Ashana.
12:39 Sometimes I hear Usha.
12:42 So, I'm not quite sure what her actual name is,
12:43 but we'll call her Ashana.
12:45 - Okay.
12:46 But, you know,
12:47 the time between her baptism
12:49 and when she finally got established in a business
12:52 was quite a number of months.
12:54 And I was a little bit frustrated,
12:56 but, hearing her testimony,
12:58 this was a time where God was really working in her life.
13:00 - Right.
13:01 - [Jon] And establishing her faith.
13:03 - Right.
13:04 - And we have a video talking about that time in her life.
13:07 (speaking in foreign language)
13:08 (soft piano music)
13:12 - [Female Translator] After I was baptized,
13:13 my relatives said that they were not going to support me
13:16 anymore.
13:17 And I didn't have a job.
13:18 So, I got worried.
13:20 I said, oh Lord, how am I going to live?
13:22 How am I going to take care of my daughters?
13:25 What am I going to do? I don't know Lord.
13:28 But, since that day, God has taken care of my needs.
13:31 Sometimes when I pray for people and the prayer is answered,
13:35 they want to give me money.
13:36 But, I tell them that the money belongs to God.
13:39 So, instead they bring me rice and beans and oil.
13:43 Also, my sister had completely stopped talking to me,
13:47 but all of a sudden, she called me last month.
13:50 She wanted to know how I was doing.
13:52 She wanted to know how I was able to care for my family.
13:56 So, I told her how God was providing for us.
13:59 We both cried as I shared.
14:00 And now our relationship is restored.
14:03 And even though she didn't help me financially before,
14:06 last month, she came and gave me 2,000 rupees to use
14:09 to buy food.
14:11 See how God is leading me?
14:12 I am so thankful
14:14 and amazed to see how He is providing for us.
14:17 (soft guitar music)
14:25 (speaking in foreign language)
14:29 After I was baptized, I couldn't keep the truth to myself.
14:33 I started sharing what the Bible teaches with my friends.
14:36 And God has really blessed.
14:38 Now, by God's grace,
14:40 there are 10 people that I have helped lead to Christ
14:43 that are ready for baptism.
14:50 - One testimony I want to share just happened the other day.
14:53 I got a call at 10:30 at night from an old man
14:56 who used to be my neighbor.
14:59 He called me and said, I am old.
15:01 And I'm afraid that I might die
15:02 because of this disease that I have.
15:05 Please pray for me that I will have peace of mind.
15:08 This man was a strong Hindu.
15:10 And here he was calling me late at night for prayer.
15:13 I tried to comfort him
15:15 and assured him that I would pray for him.
15:17 Then I prayed for him asking the Lord to heal him
15:20 and take away his pain.
15:22 After I prayed,
15:24 I told him that when he woke up in the morning,
15:26 he would be healed.
15:28 He wouldn't have any more pain in his body.
15:31 The next morning at nine o'clock he called me and said,
15:34 thank you so much.
15:36 You prayed and God gave me healing.
15:38 He took the pain away from me.
15:41 More than the pleasures of this world,
15:43 I want to keep serving the Lord.
15:45 He has healed me
15:47 and I am excited to be able to meet more people
15:49 and share the love of God with them.
15:53 - Isn't that amazing?
15:54 - Yeah.
15:55 - She was worried about surviving.
15:57 And yet during that time she was ministering to others.
16:00 - Yeah.
16:01 And that's a lot of faith to tell him,
16:03 when you wake up in the morning, you will be well,
16:05 - What an amazing faith statement.
16:07 I mean, most times we pray for somebody to get well,
16:09 and then we wait and see if they get well
16:12 to see if God's worked.
16:14 And then when they're not well
16:15 or when they're not healed, then we say, well,
16:18 I guess it's not God's will or something like that.
16:21 But, she made that statement of faith.
16:23 - Right.
16:24 - And that faith is what God can use to heal them.
16:26 - Right.
16:28 - That's beautiful.
16:29 - Yeah. That's wonderful.
16:30 So then, after these months where she was learning
16:34 more faith and God was providing for her,
16:37 then this business that you had such a burden for,
16:40 actually they were able to find a place and get her set up
16:44 to have this business.
16:46 - Yeah.
16:48 It's a little difficult for Christian people to work
16:50 and survive, even to rent a house, in India.
16:53 And so to find a place where she could have,
16:57 and I thought that she just had a little stand
16:59 on the side of the road,
17:00 but they found a nice storefront.
17:02 It's like a duplex storefront,
17:03 right on the main busy highway coming out of Udumalpet.
17:07 And so they rented this little place.
17:09 It's like $65 a month and she set up her business there.
17:14 - [Natalie] Wow.
17:15 - And so we can see that video.
17:16 - [Natalie] Okay.
17:17 (happy guitar music)
17:21 (speaking in foreign language)
17:22 - [Female Translator] After I was baptized,
17:24 one of my requests was that God would help me to find a job
17:26 where I could be free to share about Him.
17:40 - I'm standing right now in the village called Krishnaburam
17:44 and I'm so delighted today
17:46 because we had the grand opening
17:48 of this wonderful shop today.
17:50 We were planning and we were praying for these things
17:53 because we came to know that sister Ashana was a widow.
17:57 She didn't have a husband and she has two daughters.
18:01 And you know, it's really, really difficult be a widow
18:05 in India.
18:07 Widows are really they're seen
18:09 like a very, very kind of untouchable.
18:12 Or men, they use them in a very bad ways.
18:16 And sister Ashana was having a very terrible time.
18:38 Now she has got this wonderful business
18:42 where she can be on her own,
18:44 not depending on anyone for the livelihood
18:47 and she can take care of her needs.
18:49 And it is a great blessing
18:51 because they deal with mostly women.
18:54 Men are not involved in this.
18:56 And moreover, more than that,
18:58 it's a great blessing to have your own business
19:00 because there won't be any Sabbath issues
19:03 because here in India,
19:04 it is very difficult to get Sabbath off.
19:07 (tender piano music)
19:12 (speaking in foreign language)
19:15 - [Female Translator] It is an answer to my prayers
19:16 that I have been given the opportunity
19:18 to have this sewing shop.
19:20 And one of the blessings is that I already know how to sew
19:24 because of my niece.
19:25 She used to call me and ask me to come learn from her.
19:29 So, before I ever had the shop,
19:31 I was able to learn how to make clothes.
19:34 Also, I have decided that whenever people come
19:37 to buy something or to have me sew something,
19:39 I will share God's word with them.
19:42 My main aim is not to earn money.
19:44 My main aim is to do God's work.
19:47 I thank the Lord for opening this door
19:49 that I had never thought of before.
19:52 I also want to thank everyone who gave their support
19:54 and prayers to give me this opportunity
19:57 to have my own business.
20:00 I'm thankful also,
20:01 because here you cannot directly invite Hindu people
20:04 to come to church.
20:05 But now, since they are going to come to my shop,
20:08 whenever it is needed to stitch clothes,
20:10 I am going to teach them about Jesus.
20:13 The Jesus who loves them.
20:18 - This was the beginning of her business
20:20 and when I visited last week,
20:22 I was surprised to see
20:24 that they were nearly about six to seven ladies
20:28 were there in her shop.
20:30 I thought they came to buy some materials,
20:33 buy some sari dresses for them.
20:35 But, when sister Ashana started explaining about each lady.
20:40 I was really, really thrilled because this lady, Ashana,
20:44 she's using this business as a tool to spread God's word.
20:50 Now she's more focused on reaching people for heaven
20:55 than earning money for own.
20:59 And these people are really,
21:01 really been blessed by sister Ashana.
21:04 All those seven ladies who were waiting there,
21:07 they were all waiting for her to give Bible study,
21:09 to be prayed for them.
21:11 She told me that these are the people,
21:13 they are ready for baptism.
21:15 I was really thrilled because I never thought that this
21:18 would happen in that shop.
21:20 When I asked her, How is your shop running now?
21:23 How are you able to pay off your debt
21:25 or pay off your rent and pay off everything?
21:28 She says, when I'm doing God's work,
21:30 God is taking care of all my needs.
21:33 He's giving me the needed the business.
21:35 He's taking care of whatever is needed here.
21:38 And by the grace of God, now she's having a very happy life.
21:47 (speaking in foreign language)
21:53 - That's beautiful.
21:54 - That's so amazing.
21:55 - I love how she said in there,
21:57 she's like, the business is the business,
21:59 but what is important is that these people know Jesus.
22:01 - Yes.
22:03 Yeah. She's like, I'm not worried about the money.
22:04 God will take care of,
22:05 but I want these people to know about Him.
22:08 - Right.
22:09 And so she's working like a regular Bible worker.
22:11 - Yeah.
22:12 - When I was there.
22:13 She said that she works part time
22:16 and I said, you've got a big rent payment to make.
22:19 She says, Oh, God takes care of that.
22:20 I focus on his work.
22:22 And he brings in just enough business that I can take care
22:25 of my rent and I can live nicely.
22:27 And so, she's working like a Bible worker
22:29 without Bible worker stipend.
22:31 - Wow.
22:32 - And this was all, you know, we didn't plan on this.
22:35 We didn't think, well, if we set her up in business,
22:38 then she will bring souls to the kingdom.
22:40 - Right.
22:41 - It's just that as we followed the Lord's prompting
22:44 to help a widow who is in need, who was following Christ,
22:48 then He started moving on her heart
22:50 and she stepped out by faith and is living by faith
22:53 and bringing other people in and helping them find healing.
22:56 And that's the main focus.
22:58 Like brother Israel said, this is a tool.
23:02 - Right, right.
23:03 It's wonderful.
23:05 We do have a picture of the shop
23:07 because we had video before, but we have a picture here.
23:09 - [Jon] Now, this is the next year. This is in 2020.
23:12 So, a year after her baptism
23:14 and got to visit her in her shop.
23:16 - Wow.
23:17 - I was traveling with some friends
23:18 and so they got to witness and see what was happening.
23:20 And here she is standing in her shop.
23:22 You can see how decorated it is and how happy she is
23:25 and established by faith.
23:28 - Wow.
23:29 - In her shop. And here she is working with her machine.
23:32 And then these are the ladies that she has now helping.
23:38 They're all widows.
23:39 And she's helping them to find the healing and the hope
23:42 and the joy in life that she has found.
23:45 - [Natalie] Awesome.
23:46 - Through Christ.
23:46 - Yeah. That's wonderful.
23:48 - So, this is the beauty of the Widow Ministry.
23:50 - Right.
23:51 - You know, these ladies, when they don't have a husband,
23:54 they're like untouchables.
23:56 They become like beggars.
23:57 Many of them don't have an education.
23:59 So, they're not able to earn a living for themselves
24:00 and for their children. - Right.
24:02 They're not trained in anything except household duties.
24:05 - Exactly.
24:07 And even if like Ashana, she had a skill,
24:09 she didn't have any funding to start that business,
24:11 to buy a machine, to set up a shop,
24:14 to buy the material and the thread
24:16 and everything that's needed
24:17 to start actually earning from that.
24:20 So, this Widow Ministry gives opportunities to people
24:23 that are really looking and motivated to earn.
24:27 And they are very appreciative
24:29 because they're like the outcast
24:32 nobody really wants to help.
24:33 - Right.
24:34 Right. And it opens doors.
24:36 I mean, huge doors because they, like you said,
24:39 she had no funds,
24:41 no resources with which to even buy a sewing machine.
24:44 And so, because we have the widow program,
24:46 we were able to provide her a sewing machine
24:49 and help her with the initial costs.
24:51 And then she's taking it from there and she's taking it
24:54 and dedicated it to God, obviously.
24:57 From the grand opening,
24:58 she was dedicating it to God and having the pastors there,
25:00 speaking and sharing God's word.
25:03 And it just, it's so beautiful to see God's reward for her,
25:07 but also the joy that he's giving her in this process
25:11 and in this day to day living.
25:13 - Yes.
25:14 And the faith that she is learning and walking in,
25:17 it is just very inspiring to us as well.
25:20 And so through her ministry,
25:22 we're going to learn more about other widows
25:26 that are struggling and having a hard time as well.
25:28 And we're gonna be able to see how we can expand
25:31 this ministry in areas of true need.
25:34 - Right. Right.
25:36 Well, it's such a blessing to hear her story
25:38 and to know that we've had a small part
25:39 in being a blessing to her, but not only to her,
25:42 to the people that she's been witnessing to
25:44 and bringing to Jesus.
25:46 - Absolutely.
25:46 - It's such a blessing.
25:47 - Yeah.
25:49 And there's many millions of widows throughout India
25:52 that are struggling just like Ashana was.
25:55 And so, we need real prayer that we can find ways
25:57 to reach out and find them and extend a helping hand.
26:02 Maybe we'll find more people like Ashana
26:04 that not only received the help physically, financially,
26:10 food wise, but also find healing in Christ.
26:13 - Right. Right.
26:15 Well, this has been a really good story.
26:17 And I'm so thankful we had the time today to share this.
26:20 The videos are a blessing.
26:22 It almost makes me feel that I was there.
26:25 Although I wasn't, but anyway,
26:27 I'm just so thankful to see what God can do
26:30 when people step by step, follow Him,
26:32 because what would have happened if she hadn't listened
26:34 to her sister and gone to that Christian Church?
26:37 And what would have happened if she hadn't moved
26:39 and gone looking for another church?
26:41 And if she hadn't asked the questions,
26:42 why do you keep the Sabbath?
26:45 You know, if she had just turned away and said,
26:47 this is unfamiliar to me, you know?
26:49 What would have happened?
26:51 She would still be in the same type of situation.
26:53 She would still be hurting and-
26:55 - Thinking about taking her own life.
26:57 - Yeah.
26:58 So, I'm so thankful and so grateful to the Lord
27:00 that she had the courage to follow and to be baptized,
27:05 but also just to follow His leading step by step.
27:08 - Yes. It reminds me of one of my favorite author's quotes.
27:11 She says, that there are millions that are looking wistfully
27:15 to heaven, longing for more light,
27:18 longing for hope that they can walk in.
27:21 And we found one,
27:22 you know, and there are millions others out there like that.
27:25 - [Natalie] Right.
27:27 - So, just inspires us to move forward and say,
27:29 you know, I love the cause of God.
27:31 I love what he does in people's lives.
27:33 And I just want to expose more people to his love.
27:37 - Right.
27:38 And I would like to invite you to pray for this ministry,
27:41 pray for the widows in India, pray for Ashana.
