Emily. 01:52 All the family's here 01:53 and I don't know anybody's name. 01:55 But you're here and you're here. 01:57 So we're glad that you're here. 01:58 Today, we're going to talk about telling the truth. 02:01 And so I'm glad that you told your true name, 02:04 your real name, right? 02:05 Nothing like telling the truth, right, Aaron? 02:07 That's right. Yeah. 02:08 So there was a man in the Bible 02:11 who had a bad habit of telling lies 02:14 and his name was Jacob. 02:17 Anybody ever read about Jacob? 02:20 So, Jacob lied and he lied to his dad. 02:24 Have any of you ever lied to your parents? 02:27 Yes. Yeah, me too. 02:30 Everybody does. Well, you think everybody does? 02:32 Yeah, it's not really a smart thing is it? 02:34 It's sad and you know, it makes God's heart really sad 02:38 when we lie, when we lie to Him, 02:40 when we lie to each other. 02:42 So we just know that lies hurt people. 02:45 And we want to talk about the opposite of lying 02:50 which is telling the truth, right? 02:54 So what there's a certain person 02:58 in the Bible 02:59 that the Bible says they are the truth. 03:02 Who is the truth? 03:04 Jesus is the truth, right? 03:06 So Uncle Aaron wrote a great song 03:10 about telling the truth of Jesus Christ. 03:14 So if we will fill our hearts and our minds 03:16 with the truth of Jesus 03:19 then we can go out 03:22 and tell everybody about Jesus 03:24 and we will be doing the opposite of lying 03:26 which is telling the truth. 03:28 All right? 03:29 Now let me tell the rest of the truth. 03:31 Tim helped me write it. 03:32 Okay, so there's two parts to that truth. 03:34 Now he's giving me credit. Well, we work together. 03:37 And now I'm gonna give you credit. 03:39 Thanks, Aaron. I appreciate that very much. 03:41 And that is the truth.
