They laugh together, right. 02:15 Well, today we're going to talk about friends. 02:18 The Bible tells us 02:19 that Abraham was called the friend of God 02:21 because he believed God. 02:23 Who wouldn't want a friend like God, right? 02:26 Well, what if I were to ask you 02:28 for if I knew you only had one toy 02:31 and I asked you to give me that toy? 02:34 Would I be a very good friend? No. 02:36 Well, the Bible says that God told Abraham 02:40 to give his son Isaac, 02:43 the son that Abraham and Sarah had waited so long to have. 02:48 Well, it just didn't make sense 02:50 that God would take their son away. 02:53 But sometimes God doesn't necessarily make sense, 02:57 He asks us to give things that don't seem fair. 03:01 But if we'll trust Him, 03:03 and we find that He has a greater plan in mind, 03:06 He just wants to know we're willing to obey Him. 03:09 So whether it's sharing our toys with our friends 03:12 or helping somebody you don't even know, 03:15 you're obeying God, 03:17 you can be a friend to God by obeying Him. 03:20 So that's what we're going to sing about today called, 03:22 the song is called, Let's be a Friend of God. 03:25 And it goes like this. 03:27 I'm going to say a line and then you can repeat it. 03:28 Actually, I'll start with two lines. 03:30 Let's be a friend of God. 03:31 Let's be a friend of God. 03:32 You say that. 03:34 Let's be a friend of God 03:35 Let's be a friend of God 03:38 Follow His lead, meeting a need 03:40 Follow His lead, meeting a need 03:43 Let's be a friend of God 03:45 Let's be a friend of God 03:48 Spend time with Him each day 03:50 Learning about His ways 03:52 Spend time with Him each day 03:54 Learning about His ways 03:56 Being like Him, being a friend 03:59 Being like Him, being a friend 04:02 Let's be a friend of God 04:04 Let's be a friend of God 04:05 Okay, so that's kind of long 04:07 but you listen to it once and then we'll sing it. 04:09 Okay?
