00:01 If you've just joined us on Cook:30 for Kids,
00:02 we're having so much fun here in the kitchen.
00:05 We have Lucy from Arkansas and Jailey from Iowa.
00:08 What's on the menu, guys?
00:10 Mediterranean chickpea pizza
00:12 with stuffed sun dried tomato hummus.
00:15 And for dessert there is mango, papaya and lime sorbet.
00:25 Cool.
00:27 So we've just taken the pizza out of the oven.
00:29 We've cut it carefully into slabs
00:31 and put it on to this board here.
00:32 And now we're gonna start dressing it
00:34 with our lovely ingredients.
00:35 Good.
00:37 Oops. Isn't it amazing?
00:38 See how this was like liquid a few minutes ago
00:40 and now it's like a pizza base.
00:43 Isn't it very cool?
00:44 So just make it around here
00:45 so you can just move the board around a little bit,
00:48 coming through here.
00:49 Get the lemons and limes out of the way.
00:51 Okay.
00:52 So this is kind of a soft base
00:54 but you can cook it for about 25-30 minutes
00:56 and you can get like more of a crispy base.
00:58 So it's just kind of whatever you want to have.
01:00 So if I give you, Lucy,
01:02 to spoon some of this stuff here.
01:05 This is our sun dried tomato hummus,
01:07 under here I'll just do on for you just to start you off.
01:10 So you kind of want it to look like something like that,
01:12 kind of like a tomato sauce would look like on a pizza.
01:15 So you can do that on all of them.
01:17 That would be great.
01:19 So there you go.
01:20 Go with that.
01:21 I'll put that there for you.
01:24 And we're gonna need to top it,
01:26 so there are some really nice colorful ingredients.
01:28 So if you can start chopping
01:29 some of these cherry tomatoes in half.
01:32 Okay. That would be great.
01:34 And we've also got our lovely vegetables here as well.
01:37 So just, looking good there.
01:39 With this knife?
01:40 Sorry?
01:41 With that knife, yeah, that would be great.
01:43 Okay.
01:44 Just chop those up.
01:45 So we got lovely toppings to go on top.
01:47 So this pizza is actually served warm,
01:49 so we got a warm base, we got on the cold hummus
01:52 and we've got the warm vegetables as well.
01:53 You can put it back in the oven
01:55 and give it a heat up if you want,
01:56 but I find it's just quite nice being warm.
01:59 Looking good there, that's awesome.
02:00 Hey, put...
02:03 Get around nicely.
02:06 Keep putting it on. Yeah, that's looking great.
02:09 And just put a little bit of green stuff on here as well.
02:11 Okay. Just to make that look good.
02:13 Please do not put it in my hair.
02:16 I will try not to.
02:17 That would be interesting. Yes.
02:19 Shall we eat you for dinner instead?
02:20 It's all done there, you can stop doing that.
02:22 No, thanks.
02:24 We're just gonna sprinkle these tomatoes on here
02:26 just some colors.
02:28 Isn't it starting to look beautiful?
02:29 Oh, gorgeous.
02:30 Okay, we're running out of time,
02:32 so you might finish off.
02:33 We'll put some avocado
02:34 and those vegetables on top of that in the break so...
02:36 Okay, all right. So we kind of play with that
02:38 well before we finish.
02:39 But now we better finish the sorbet,
02:41 we're running out of time.
02:42 So if you're going to get to the fridge
02:43 and get the papaya
02:45 and if you're gonna get the frozen mango.
02:46 I'm just gonna flip this board over
02:48 so we can use the other side.
02:50 We've been chopping vegetables on here,
02:51 when you're chopping fruit, you want to make sure we're...
02:54 We chop, we're using a clean surface.
02:56 Thanks a lot. There's a mango.
02:57 And your new name is Luck.
03:02 I'll put a cool sticker. Thank you so much.
03:04 It's awesome.
03:05 So we've got here a papaya, look at this.
03:07 Isn't this beautiful?
03:09 So what we're gonna do is use some fresh papaya
03:11 and we're just gonna take the skin off.
03:18 We just scrape the seeds out.
03:20 So we're gonna chop it up into chunks,
03:22 so we've got around about two cups of this.
03:24 Okay.
03:25 And we're just gonna put it in the blender.
03:27 And we're gonna put in the bottom,
03:28 so the blender can get speed up like that.
03:32 And throw the few of the mango chunks.
03:35 We're gonna put some mangoes
03:36 so the frozen will get very nice texture.
03:39 In there, so mango and papaya
03:42 and the really finishing touch is some fresh lime juice.
03:45 So limes don't have seeds often,
03:47 so we're just gonna squeeze
03:49 about three tablespoons of lime juice.
03:53 Does that look good? Yes.
03:55 We give it little blend up.
03:57 Perfect for papaya.
03:58 And let's have a look and see how this goes.
04:15 It's good.
04:22 And look at that lovely smooth kind of sorbet taste.
04:26 So pour that in some nice glasses
04:27 and then we'll be ready to serve.
04:29 I'll get the glasses.
