00:33 I'm pretty sure 00:35 like me, you desire a home where Christ can feel at home. 00:38 Deuteronomy 6:5-7 tells us, 00:42 "Love the Lord, your God, with all your heart, 00:44 with all your soul, with all your strength. 00:47 These commandments that I give you today 00:49 are to be in your hearts, impress them on your children. 00:52 Talk about them when you sit at home 00:54 and when you walk along the road 00:57 and when you lie down and when you get up." 00:59 These verses speak volumes about how our belief in God 01:03 should be an integral and influential part of us 01:06 in our spirit, to our family members, 01:08 in public and at home. 01:11 My heart breaks for homes 01:12 where no word is spoken about the love of God, 01:16 because it has, as it has been said, 01:18 so the home goes, so goes the nation. 01:22 Proverbs 24:3-4 says, 01:25 "By wisdom, a house is built, 01:26 and by understanding it is established, 01:29 by knowledge the rooms are filled 01:31 with all precious and pleasant riches." 01:33 I can think of nothing greater and more affordable 01:37 than filling my home with the wisdom of God. 01:39 And I joined Joshua in declaring that 01:41 as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord. 01:50 Happy the home When God is there 01:55 And love fills every breast 02:00 When one their wish And one their prayer 02:06 And one their heavenly rest 02:14 Happy the home 02:16 Where Jesus' name Is sweet to every ear 02:25 Where children early speak His fame 02:31 And parents hold Him dear 02:40 Father God, thank You so much 02:42 for the opportunity and the privilege 02:45 to have young people in our home, 02:47 to live our lives with them, 02:49 glorifying You to the best of our ability. 02:52 I pray, Lord Jesus, that You would show us ways 02:55 in which we can shine for You 02:57 in front of these young people that we can impart to them 03:01 our love for You 03:03 and the desire to serve You, Lord Jesus, 03:06 and all that they do in their lives. 03:08 I pray, Father God, 03:10 that You would touch each one of them 03:12 with Your Holy Spirit, fill them to overflowing. 03:15 Lord Jesus, 03:16 set these young lives on fire for You. 03:19 And if we may be 03:21 some small part of that kindling, Lord, 03:23 show us how, 03:25 show us where we can be better and do better 03:28 to show these children the way, the truth and the life. 03:35 Heavenly Father, 03:36 I pray for the Christian family. 03:40 There're so many homes spread around the globe 03:44 that are under assault, under pressure from the enemy. 03:48 Father, I pray that You protect our homes, 03:51 that You protect the children in those homes, 03:53 that You protect the parents, 03:55 the mother and the father in these homes. 03:59 Father, we need You now 04:00 in this day and age more than ever, 04:02 because the enemy does not want the family 04:04 to be a family of God. 04:07 Father, bless the families of those hearing this prayer, 04:11 give them strength and guidance 04:13 that they can withstand the evil arrayed against them 04:17 and that they might lead their families, 04:19 their children, their husband, or their wife 04:23 to eternal glory 04:25 in the name of Jesus Christ. 04:27 Amen. 04:30 Dear God, thank You for our homes, 04:32 thank You for shelter, thank You for family. 04:35 I pray that You will bless 04:37 and protect our homes from harm. 04:39 I pray for those 04:40 who do not have the blessing of homes 04:42 that You will bless and protect them as well. 04:45 Keep us safe and healthy 04:47 as we continue on in your abundant grace. 04:50 We ask these things in Jesus' name. 04:52 Amen. 04:58 Happy the home where prayer is heard 05:04 And praise is wont to rise 05:10 Where parents love The sacred Word 05:16 And all its wisdom prize 05:25 Lord, let us in our homes agree 05:32 This blessed peace to gain 05:38 Unite our hearts In love to Thee 05:45 And love to all will reign 05:56 Our most precious Heavenly Father, 05:59 You have provided us 06:00 with such a beautiful example of a home. 06:03 Lord, we want to be a part of Your divine experience. 06:08 Love, compassion, understanding and worship 06:13 are an integral part of your home 06:15 that will never go away. 06:17 No more arguments, no more cheating, 06:20 no more unfaithfulness, no more abuse. 06:24 What an exciting future we have with you, Lord. 06:28 We pray, we will be ready 06:30 to make the journey to the new earth 06:32 You have so delightfully prepared for us. 06:36 Please, please, Lord, 06:38 come soon and take us quickly to Your heavenly home, 06:42 where we can savor Your love. 06:45 We ask all these things in thy wonderful name. 06:48 Amen. 06:52 Dear Heavenly Father, thank You so much for this day. 06:54 Thank You so much for being my Father 06:57 that care for me, 06:59 but I want to thank You so much more 07:00 for my home, 07:02 for the people who are part of my home, 07:04 my children, my husband, 07:06 be with them 07:08 because each one of them is important to you, Lord, 07:11 and You want them to be safe 07:13 and I want you to be with the homes, 07:16 the Christian homes, the Adventist homes 07:18 around the world 07:19 because they are the light to this world right now. 07:24 As we face this time of trouble, 07:26 Lord, be with each one of the homes, 07:28 the Christian homes, 07:30 so they can reach out to their neighbors, 07:32 to those around them 07:33 and share Your light, Your love with them. 07:36 Please help also all those homes 07:39 that don't know you, Lord, 07:40 that Your Spirit may be with them 07:44 as they face this time of trouble. 07:46 Lord, is hard on people, 07:49 isolation and not be able to share 07:51 with other family members, 07:53 be in those homes, Lord, 07:55 that Your peace and Your love and this time 07:58 can come through 07:59 and be with each one of us in Jesus' name. 08:02 Amen. 08:06 Heavenly Father, 08:07 our homes are under attack as never before, 08:11 our homes are where we teach Your children 08:13 and grandchildren 08:14 about the goodness of our God. 08:17 Let angels that excel in strength 08:19 be around us to protect us from the attacks of the devil. 08:23 Thank You, Lord, 08:25 for the promise of Your protection 08:27 in Jesus' name. 08:28 Amen. 08:33 Isaiah foresaw a day, 08:35 Dear God, 08:37 when Your people will live in peaceful dwelling places, 08:41 in secure homes and undisturbed places of rest. 08:46 Lord, I pray 08:48 that You will let it happen today. 08:52 And, Jesus, You told the parable 08:54 of the rain coming down, 08:55 the streams rising and the winds blowing 08:58 and beating against the house. 09:01 Yet it didn't fall 09:02 because it had its foundation on the rock. 09:07 And, Lord, I choose today to build my life upon You, 09:12 my firm foundation. 09:20 There are many prayer requests that come in, 09:24 this one says, 09:26 please pray for God 09:27 to draw my friend 09:29 into a deeper relationship with the Holy Spirit, 09:31 and to fill them with power, love, Christ's mind, faith, 09:35 hope and beauty. 09:37 God, we want these characteristics 09:39 in all of our lives, God. 09:42 Ask the Holy Spirit to comfort and deliver them 09:45 from the enemy from all evil, 09:47 Holy Spirit, grant a hunger for the Word of God 09:51 and lead them to the right Christian teachers 09:55 of God's holy word. 09:58 Father, there are many of us around this world 10:01 who have loved ones that we want to see 10:05 turn their lives over to You, 10:07 that You would be their savior, that you would be their Lord. 10:12 Oh God, save our loved ones. 10:17 Save them God. 10:22 We pray for those 10:24 who are facing anxiety and fear. 10:30 This one says, 10:32 "They have negative thoughts that come to their mind 10:35 and they need deliverance from this." 10:38 Please pray that I will completely trust God 10:41 and do His will. 10:44 Another comes in and says, 10:46 "Pray for healing for my daughter. 10:48 She has cancer and it was in remission 10:52 and she had to continue with treatment." 10:55 Another says, 10:56 "Pray for my aunt who has cancer, 10:58 pray for my family, 11:00 that they will completely give their hearts to the Lord. 11:04 Pray for our close friend 11:06 who is struggling with his Christian faith, 11:09 as well as with some long-term mental health issues. 11:13 Please pray that he will not lose faith, 11:17 that God will heal him mentally, 11:20 and will bring him peace." 11:25 Father God, 11:28 thank You, Lord, that You, You are the answer. 11:32 You are the answer to this world 11:34 and to their needs. 11:37 You are the answer to our world's hurts. 11:41 So, Father, I pray that You will reveal Yourself, 11:47 reveal the answer. 11:53 Proverbs 3:33 says, 11:57 "The Lord's curse is on the house of the wicked, 12:01 but He blesses the home of the righteous." 12:06 And Psalm 91:1-2 says, 12:10 "Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High 12:14 will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. 12:17 I will say of the Lord, 12:19 He is my refuge and my fortress, 12:23 and my God in whom I trust." 12:31 Just take a moment and thank Him 12:35 for being the Lord of your home, 12:40 and pray for those who you know need a closer walk with Him. 12:46 Just take a moment right now. 13:14 You're nearness, oh God, is our good. 13:20 We thank You, Lord, 13:21 for loving us, for caring for us. 13:25 We thank You that 13:27 we can have the privilege of knowing You 13:29 and claiming You as our Father. 13:33 Amen. 13:39
