00:32 Our topic today is on assurance. 00:35 In Matthew 28:19-20, 00:38 Jesus told us to 00:39 "Go and make disciples of all the nations, 00:42 baptizing them in the name of the Father 00:43 and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 00:46 teaching them to observe all things 00:47 that I have commanded you, 00:49 and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." 00:54 Known as our Lord's great commission, 00:56 it is also His great assurance. 00:59 He will be with us always as we proclaim His Word, 01:03 as we proclaim Him to those nearby 01:05 and those who are far away, 01:07 not necessarily in just preaching and teaching, 01:11 but also in actually living Him. 01:14 How can we live Him? 01:16 Well, the biographies of Bible heroes 01:18 show that He leads us through life's circumstances 01:21 to cause us to surrender to His lordship. 01:25 He led King David in victories 01:27 and gave him great understanding 01:29 through a personal relationship with him. 01:31 He was with Joseph and Daniel building faithfulness, 01:35 using them to save His people. 01:38 He liberated Paul and Peter from jail 01:41 and used them to convert the jailers. 01:44 On and on He led people 01:46 until they chose to commit to Him. 01:48 And He still does that today. 01:51 Be assured, 01:53 God will keep working to win us to Himself 01:56 because He loves us. 01:58 And once that happens, 01:59 you can rest assured He will keep you 02:02 and nothing can separate you from Him and His love for you. 02:12 Blessed assurance 02:15 Jesus is mine 02:19 Oh what a foretaste 02:22 Of glory divine! 02:26 Heir of salvation, 02:30 Purchase of God 02:34 Born of His Spirit 02:37 Washed in His blood 02:41 This is my story 02:45 This is my song 02:49 Praising my Savior 02:53 All the day long 02:57 This is my story 03:01 This is my song 03:05 Praising my Savior 03:09 All the day long 03:15 Dear heavenly Father, 03:17 thank You for the assurance 03:18 that through every circumstance of our lives, 03:21 You keep working on us, 03:24 bringing us closer and closer to understanding of Your Word 03:29 and to surrendering 03:30 to Your precious saving will for our lives, 03:34 Your will for the salvation of all mankind. 03:38 Based on Your assurance of Your ever presence with us, 03:43 we want and claim to be strong, faithful, 03:47 and peaceful in Your arms. 03:50 Even in the midst of the storms 03:52 that You allow us to pass through. 03:55 Thank You for assuring us, of being with us always. 03:59 In Your precious name we pray. 04:01 Amen. 04:08 Dear heavenly Father, 04:09 we look for assurance 04:11 in this world of chaos and confusion, 04:13 and sometimes very hard to find that kind of assurance. 04:17 But we know that God exists, 04:19 for since the creation of the world, 04:21 God's invisible qualities, 04:23 His eternal power, divine nature 04:25 have been clearly seen 04:26 being understood from what He has made 04:28 so that people are without excuse. 04:30 This is Romans 1:20. 04:33 I think it's wonderful to know You, Lord God. 04:35 And to know that for by grace, 04:37 we are saved through faith 04:38 and not by ourselves for it's a gift of God, 04:41 not of works lest any man should boast. 04:43 Help us to remember this as we try our best 04:46 to grab on to the assurance 04:47 and know that it comes from You. 04:49 Amen. 04:54 1 John 5:13, 04:57 "These things I have written unto you 04:59 that believe in the name of the Son of God, 05:02 that you may know that you have eternal life, 05:05 and that you may believe in the name of the Son of God." 05:09 Lord Jesus, thank You so much 05:11 for that assurance that You give us 05:13 that if we simply believe upon Your name, Lord, 05:16 and we follow in Your footsteps, 05:18 You will take us home to be with You. 05:25 Perfect submission 05:29 Perfect delight 05:33 Visions of rapture 05:36 Now burst on my sight 05:41 Angles descending 05:45 Brim from above 05:48 Echoes of mercy 05:52 Whispers of love 05:56 This is my story 06:00 This is my song 06:04 Praising my savior 06:08 All the day long, 06:12 This is my story 06:16 This is my song 06:20 Praising my savior 06:25 All the day long 06:31 Heavenly Father, 06:32 in these days we find little assurance 06:34 in the events around us. 06:36 Children look to their parent. 06:38 Parents look to their careers. 06:41 Communities look to their elected officials. 06:44 The end events and situations crumble our assurances. 06:49 But praise the Lord, 06:51 we have full assurance of faith 06:53 that Jesus who promises is faithful. 06:58 Amen. 07:04 Oh heavenly Father, You are a loving God, 07:08 a God that has given us assurance of our future. 07:12 Assurance, Lord, that You love us. 07:15 You sent Jesus here to live with us and die for us 07:19 and redeem us, Lord, 07:21 and restore the relationship with You. 07:23 We have the assurance of salvation 07:25 because of that. 07:27 Thank You, Lord, 07:28 we have the assurance of Your love 07:30 and Your protection and Your care. 07:32 Oh, Lord, You are a wonderful God. 07:34 And thank You for the assurance that You are with us always, 07:38 even to the ends of the world. 07:40 Thank You for the Word that gives us this assurance. 07:44 That gives us the certainty 07:46 of the faith that we have in You. 07:48 Thank You, Lord. 07:49 We pray in Jesus' name. 07:51 Amen 07:58 Our loving Father in heaven, 07:59 we thank You for the privilege of prayer. 08:02 We come to You today. 08:03 We lift up this thing called assurance, 08:05 Lord, we have this assurance based upon Your Word. 08:08 We have this assurance based upon what You said. 08:10 You said, 08:11 "I'll never leave You. I'll never forsake You." 08:12 You said, 08:14 "I've gone to prepare a place for You 08:15 and I will come and receive you unto Myself, 08:17 that where I am, there you may be also." 08:20 Thank You for the assurance of Your Word. 08:21 You said, 08:23 "I love You with an everlasting love. 08:24 I'll never leave You, I'll never forsake You." 08:26 During this stressful time that we're living in 08:28 we need that assurance, assurance based upon Your Word, 08:31 based upon Your promises 08:33 that You've left for each and every one. 08:34 I pray today that every precious individual, 08:37 the sound of my voice 08:38 will reach out and claim a promise 08:40 based upon Your Word today 08:41 You promised to hear and to answer. 08:43 May we look to Jesus now, 08:45 the author and the finisher of our faith, 08:46 help us to be faithful until the very end 08:48 till Jesus shall come. 08:49 In Jesus' name, amen. 08:54 So many scripture in the Bible to give us assurance. 08:58 1 John 5:13, 09:00 "These things I have written to you 09:01 who believe in the name of the Son of God, 09:04 so that you may know that you have eternal life." 09:07 Hebrews 10:22, 09:09 "Let us draw near with a sincere heart 09:12 in full assurance of faith." 09:15 2 Timothy 1:12, 09:18 "I know whom I have believed, 09:21 and I am convinced 09:22 that he is able to guard what I have entrusted to him 09:26 until that day." 09:28 1 John 5:11-13. 09:32 "And the testimony is this 09:34 that God has given us eternal life 09:37 and this life is in His Son. 09:39 He who has the Son has the life. 09:42 He who does not have the Son of God, 09:44 does not have the life. 09:46 These things have I written to you 09:49 who believe in the name of the Son of God, 09:51 so that You may know that you have eternal life." 09:57 And finally John 6:47. Yeah. 10:00 "Truly, truly, I say to You, 10:02 he who believes has eternal life." 10:05 Thank You God for assurance. 10:09 It's not a guess so, think so, hope so, may be so, 10:13 it's a know so. 10:15 Thank You, Father, that You are our God. 10:18 Thank You, Father, that You are ruler overall 10:22 that You'll hear our prayer 10:25 and, Lord, we trust You to be answering prayer, God. 10:30 Lord, I thank You for our viewers who are, 10:36 who have assurance that You are their father. 10:42 Lord, I pray for those 10:43 who are battling cancer and disease. 10:48 Who are battling brain tumor, 10:54 other distortions in their body. 10:57 Father, I ask for Your healing, heal as only You can. 11:04 Lord, I pray for healing 11:05 for those who have recently 11:09 been involved in accidents. 11:12 God, I pray for workers, 11:16 I pray for safety for those who work on the highways, 11:22 the construction and, 11:27 Lord, for those who are traveling, 11:30 God, traveling mercies all around. 11:35 Lord, I pray for doctors and hospital staff 11:40 for Your protection 11:41 and Your hedge of protection to wrap around them. 11:46 I ask for prayer for caretakers 11:49 of those who are close to the sick, 11:53 Father, that You would give them 11:55 a special protection, 11:59 then a special strength 12:00 and a special patience and tolerance. 12:07 God, a special touch. 12:11 So many needs salvation, 12:14 a move of Your Holy Spirit. 12:19 Father, I just pray for those 12:20 who are watching that are 12:25 needing an assurance from You. 12:29 God, I pray that You will just reach down 12:33 and may Your Spirit rest on them. 12:37 Give them the assurance. 12:42 If You are unsure that you are a child, 12:46 all you have to do a child of God, 12:49 all you have to do is just ask Christ 12:52 to be the ruler of your life 12:55 and follow Him in His way. 12:58 And then you can know without a shadow of a doubt 13:02 that You will have assurance. 13:04 This will be your song. 13:05 This will be your story, 13:07 praising your savior all the day long. 13:10 I love John 10:28 that says, 13:12 "And I give eternal life to them 13:14 and they will never perish, 13:17 and no one will snatch them out of My hand." 13:20 You can have that assurance. 13:24 You can know that you are His child. 13:26 He is your father, 13:28 and what a wonderful gift 13:30 to walk in that assurance. 13:32 Amen. 13:35 Please send us your prayer request 13:37 or become a part of our Prayer Warrior Team. 13:39 For more information, please visit 3abn.tv/prayer 13:44 or call for prayer at 618-627-4651 extension 1. 13:49 And thank you for being a part of the worldwide 3ABN family. |
