00:30 My name is John Dinzey. 00:31 It's a pleasure for me 00:33 to introduce this special program 00:36 to you coming from the 3ABN Worship Center 00:39 in Thompsonville, Illinois. 00:42 Thompsonville, Illinois is located about 00:44 300 miles south of Chicago 00:45 for those of you that don't know, 00:47 it's a small town of about 600 people, 00:50 but here from this place is brought to satellites, 00:56 broadcasted around the world via nine satellites 3ABN, 00:59 Three Angels Broadcasting Network bringing 01:01 the everlasting gospel to the whole world. 01:04 During this series we have five sermons with our speaker 01:11 which is the director and speaker 01:13 of Behold the Lamb Ministries. 01:15 I'm talking about Pastor Kenny Shelton, 01:18 and he will bring a series to you entitled 01:20 "A Vessel for the Refiner". 01:23 A Vessel for the Refiner. 01:25 You are watching and listening 01:27 to the first of a series of five, 01:31 the first is entitled Holiness is not just a feeling. 01:35 You will then here a message entitled, 01:37 Filled with a Spirit, 01:40 and number three is Shake of the dust. 01:44 And then message number four will be, 01:46 God will visit this planet again. 01:49 And finally the series will end with Satan's greatest fear. 01:54 We encourage you to note the time and day of the week 01:58 that you're watching this program 01:59 and listening to this program, 02:00 so that you can listen to each and every one 02:03 of the sermons in this series, "A Vessel for the Refiner". 02:10 We encourage you to grab your Bible 02:13 or other device that you may use to follow along 02:17 and listen to the program and write down the scriptures. 02:20 You may want to continue this study 02:23 and we hope this will began a journey into a life 02:28 consecrated to follow the Lord. 02:30 Once again the title for this sermon is a Vessel... 02:34 For the series, "A Vessel for the Refiner". 02:36 The first message will be that you will hear momentarily is, 02:39 Holiness is not just a Feeling. 02:43 I would like to encourage you 02:44 to join me in prayer before we begin. 02:46 Pastor Kenny Shelton may pray as well 02:49 but we want to ask the Lord to bless our time together 02:52 so we encourage you to join us. 02:54 And we praise the Lord that we have some, 02:56 they have joined us here in Thompsonville. 02:58 At this moment join me in prayer. 03:02 Our loving Heavenly Father, we are grateful to You 03:06 that we can come together Lord to study 03:09 the holy scriptures 03:11 that are able to make us wise unto salvation. 03:15 We thank you Lord for the speaker 03:17 and we pray that You will use him, 03:19 bless him with the Holy Spirit. 03:20 We pray that You will use him as an instrument 03:24 that will speak Your words 03:26 and bring Your message to Your children. 03:29 We pray Lord that everyone 03:31 that stops to listen will be blessed 03:33 and we pray that Your Holy Spirit 03:34 will guide our thoughts 03:36 so that we may understand 03:37 the message You have for each and every one of us. 03:40 We know Lord that You are aware of 03:43 where we all are in our spiritual walk, 03:45 and we pray that something some verse, 03:48 some part of the sermon will spark an interest 03:52 in continuing to search the scriptures. 03:54 We pray that Pastor Kenny will be used 03:57 by Your Holy Spirit in such a way 03:59 as to bring about revival and reformation. 04:04 And we ask You Father for these blessings 04:07 in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. 04:11 Amen. 04:12 Amen. 04:13 Well, at this moment I like to invite Pastor Kenny Shelton 04:16 to come forward and together to study this important topic, 04:20 and may God continue to bless each and every one of you. 04:23 Amen. 04:25 Thank you. 04:27 Praise the Lord. 04:29 It's good to be here, we welcome everyone 04:31 who is tuned in and those who are joining us here, 04:34 praise God. 04:35 What an opportunity to be able to study 04:37 the word of God together. 04:39 I'm excited about this series, 04:41 and I pray that you'll get excited about it. 04:44 After all we are nearing the time for Jesus to come 04:48 and He's coming after we prepare people. 04:51 We're gonna be talking about our first subject, 04:53 "His Holiness is not just a Feeling. 04:56 And what does that mean? 04:57 Think about it with me church. 04:59 Holiness is not just a feeling, 05:02 I have read in scripture, and I'm sure you have too 05:06 and again I encourage you get your Bible, 05:08 pencil and paper and jot down because once we get to moving, 05:11 you just gonna have to jot them down 05:13 and go back and do some study and know for yourself. 05:15 This may be new to some, 05:17 some of the lingo may be a little different than 05:19 some of you are used to. 05:20 But you know what? We have the same blessed Bible. 05:23 As we study this subject, 05:25 we will see that there are many things, 05:28 many things in here that maybe we just read, 05:31 must just say kind of surface reading 05:34 and we just said that I believe that's what it says, 05:36 but we're gonna do some more examining 05:39 because we want to be ready for the coming of Jesus. 05:43 I read in the Bible in Hebrews 12:14, 05:47 it just simply says, "Follow peace with all men..." 05:51 And then it goes on. 05:52 The next word is, 05:54 "in holiness without, no man shall see God." 05:59 Think about that with me, 06:00 without we need to follow peace, 06:02 we need to be holy and acceptable to God 06:06 and if we are not, what's going to happen? 06:08 We're not going to see God, so it's very, very important 06:10 as we study the word of God that we are ready 06:13 because we need to be a vessel of honor, 06:16 a vessel for the refiner. 06:20 I don't about you but I know in my own Christian experience 06:23 that I know that, you know, I want to be a vessel of honor. 06:27 I want to honor and glorify God and... 06:30 but I know I need some more can so, 06:31 as we study this, don't anybody be looking say 06:33 well, they think they're are this, 06:35 they think they're that. 06:36 He's still working on me 06:37 and I pray these still working on you as well. 06:40 Holiness is not just a feeling. 06:43 You know, we live in a world 06:45 where it seems that everything... 06:47 I mean just everything is based on feelings. 06:50 People are touchy. 06:52 I don't if you've noticed that, they are touchy, 06:53 they seemed to be upset sometime 06:55 and things may be not going their way. 06:59 But it seems almost everything is based on feelings 07:02 and it's based on emotions. 07:06 And I wonder if that's the best way to live for Jesus. 07:11 It's just a question that I'm gonna throw out to you 07:14 because I wonder if the enemy is not setting us up. 07:19 I wonder if the enemy is not setting us up, 07:22 but as we do this, you know, we're getting into, 07:24 we're gonna, I'm gonna kneel 07:26 and I'm gonna have prayer once again 07:28 because the world is basing some decisions 07:31 for eternity upon emotions and feelings, 07:34 and don't you think we need a thus saith the Lord. 07:38 Why don't you pray along with me 07:39 that the spirit of the living God 07:40 would just move upon our hearts in our lives once again? 07:44 Let's pray. 07:45 Merciful Father in Heaven, 07:47 we thank you for the privilege of prayer. 07:49 We thank You that You love us with an everlasting love 07:52 and I pray for the power of thy Holy Spirit. 07:54 Oh, Lord, consume us I pray. 07:56 Forgive me of my sins and mistakes 07:58 anything in our heart and life that needs not be there. 08:00 May we hear your sweet voice, 08:02 may the conviction of the power of the Holy Spirit 08:04 convert and convict each one of us 08:06 so we may be ready for your soon return. 08:09 Bless each one who listens and those who watch. 08:12 We just pray for that conviction 08:14 that there will be souls that will turn to you 08:16 before it's ever too late, 08:17 and I thank you for this opportunity, 08:19 I thank you for this privilege in Jesus' name. 08:21 Amen. 08:25 And so with that thoughts in mind, 08:27 we do live in an age where everything is based on feelings 08:29 and could that not just go back to we're always, 08:32 we're watching TV, we're involved in lot of things 08:35 where emotions and feelings are always involved in, 08:37 so we're kind of on the edge of our seat. 08:40 Our emotions, our circumstances 08:43 it seems like set us off at different times. 08:47 In fact, sometimes some of us may avoid 08:50 even when we see somebody going down the street 08:52 that we know, we might avoid asking them, 08:55 how do you feel today? 08:57 Oh, my. 08:59 There is no telling what you're going to hear. 09:01 Feelings are not just a true guide, 09:03 always a true guide 09:05 that we can always trust our feelings 09:08 and we can always trust our emotions. 09:10 And I'm not throwing out 09:12 that God doesn't allow us to be able to feel 09:14 and to trust and have emotions, 09:16 but it must be based upon something rather than 09:19 what's going on may be in our life. 09:22 You find a person that just gives in to their feelings 09:26 and their emotions. 09:28 You may find someone that is a physically, 09:32 may be mentally and even a spiritual rack. 09:35 And I might even say a weakling 09:38 because they can really work you over. 09:41 So holiness then it's just not what, 09:43 it's not a feeling, it's not a state of ecstasy. 09:48 I'm gonna use this word so you stay with me. 09:50 Holiness is developed. 09:53 Now, what do I mean by that? 09:55 Holiness is developed. 09:59 How does that take place? 10:02 First of all we have to realize 10:03 that we need to surrender our will to God. 10:08 After all we're talking about being holy, 10:10 we're talking about being candidates for heaven 10:12 to repopulate heaven. 10:15 What's that going to really take? 10:17 The world just throws out a lot of things 10:19 and many churches do, 10:20 but what does the word of God really say? 10:24 We're talking about holiness is 10:26 a surrender of the will to God. 10:28 I've heard that many times. 10:30 It's a surrender of the will to God, 10:32 and then sometime we just, we go on. 10:34 But why don't we just dissect just a little bit here 10:37 because it's very, very important 10:40 as we give our will to God. 10:41 What is at the will? 10:44 Think about it. 10:45 The will is simply the power of choice working in man. 10:50 So everyday I must commit that 10:52 my will to him to help me the right, what? 10:56 Right choices, if I don't, 10:57 I'm gonna make selfish ones I'm sure. 11:02 Giving the will to God. 11:04 The will is the governing power in man's nature. 11:08 Does that make sense? 11:10 It's a governing power. 11:12 Somebody say I'm not really sure about governing power. 11:16 You remember, I remember years ago 11:17 where you had a... 11:19 And today, let us just used today 11:20 may be you had a lot of young people 11:22 like the four wheelers. 11:23 They get on the four wheelers and they're not really, 11:26 you know, they're not old enough to really go fast. 11:29 And so I've heard it said many times, 11:31 oh, they are not gonna go very fast because we, 11:33 we put a governor on there. 11:35 And what does that do? 11:36 That tells them they can't go beyond a certain speed. 11:40 It helps to regulate them to keep them safe. 11:43 We give our will to God, it helps to keep us safe. 11:47 The will is the spring of all of our actions. 11:53 Give the wills to God every day as we pray about it, 11:57 and then he can do something, it's fantastic, 11:58 I love this in Philippians 20:13. 12:01 The Bible becomes very, very clear. 12:04 It says, "For it is God that worketh in you, how to what, 12:08 both to will and to do of his good pleasure." 12:13 You know, what is the will of God? 12:15 Oh, I love that because the Bible is clear. 12:17 Number one, we're setting some foundation here. 12:18 We're going to dig, we're going to build, 12:20 we're going to look to Jesus, 12:22 who nothing is impossible with him. 12:25 1 Timothy 2:4 is the will of God, 12:27 He would have all men to be what? 12:30 He would have all man to be saved. 12:32 How beautiful, and that's the will of God 12:34 that He wants to save all of us in His kingdom. 12:37 Then why are there more people going to be saved. 12:40 You say, well, everybody is going to be, 12:41 only those who will do his will. 12:44 See, holiness is just not a feeling, 12:46 there's more involved in that, 12:48 to be a vessel for the refiner. 12:52 Are you really a vessel for the refiner? 12:55 Are you gonna really allow God 12:56 to really come in through the power of the Holy Spirit. 12:59 Come with me in your Bible Revelation 18:1 just quickly. 13:03 That's in the back of the book, if you may be not familiar. 13:05 They haven't been studying for a while, 13:07 it's time that we do. 13:08 Because you know, 13:09 as we're doing this the pillars, 13:11 this is, this is, this is part of the pillar, 13:12 this is part of the moment, 13:13 this is the truth that I believe this man overlooked. 13:16 There's excuses have been made for us not following 13:18 what God has said in His word. 13:21 Revelation 18:1, 13:23 the Bible says, oh, I love it. 13:25 Don't you like when the Bible says, 13:26 the Bible says. 13:28 What authority, the Bible says. 13:30 Revelation 18:1, 13:32 "And After these things, notice, 13:34 I saw another angel come down from where? 13:37 Come down from heaven, notice, having great power, 13:41 and the earth was lightened with his glory." 13:44 Oh, we could spend much time on that verse 13:46 but just notice quickly here comes another angel, 13:49 and angel is going to join another angel, 13:51 what's talking place here? 13:52 The earth is lightened with the glory of God. 13:54 What is the glory of God? 13:55 This is important. 13:57 This is, we talk about here, a pillars of faith. 14:01 And somehow we've got past it, 14:02 sometime we've talked about it, 14:04 we talked around it, we talked through it, 14:06 we jumped over it, we went under it, 14:08 but let's just hit it head on, what do you say? 14:10 What does God really require of me? 14:14 I want to sense that 14:17 because of the sacrifice of Jesus Christ 14:20 that I'm a, I'm a candidate for heaven, 14:22 I hope you'd say, oh, I am too, I'm a candidate for heaven. 14:25 How do you feel about your life 14:27 in the direction that it's going? 14:30 You see, we read in Revelation 18 here, 14:32 it's another angel, this is the fourth angel 14:35 that comes in, it unites with the third angel, 14:38 you remember reading that in Revelation 14:9-11. 14:41 And it gives power to God's final message 14:44 just going to the world. 14:46 Many time we say, 14:47 where are the third angel's message? 14:49 Third angel's message certainly has to do 14:50 with righteousness by faith. 14:52 And how we have forgotten that 14:54 and how we have made excuses. 14:59 People of God are to be prepared 15:02 to stand the Bible said in the hour of temptation. 15:06 Most of us are living like there will not be tomorrow. 15:10 They're living like who cares, it doesn't matter. 15:13 It does matter. 15:14 Heaven matters, Jesus matters. 15:17 For you spend eternity matters. 15:21 The angel comes down and lightens, 15:23 this angel comes down from heaven that, 15:26 you know, there's gonna be power 15:27 that's going to attend this angel. 15:29 And let me tell you, 15:30 I believe this with my whole heart 15:32 that God's people need more power. 15:35 God's people need more power 15:37 in their life to gain the victories. 15:39 We need more conviction, we need to be converted, 15:41 we need to be changed. 15:42 We need to be following Jesus like never before. 15:46 This is not a time to quit church. 15:48 This is not a time to get depressed. 15:50 This is not a time to be 15:51 and I'll just mention right now, 15:52 it's not a time here... 15:54 We talk to some church and people and they'll say, 15:55 well, you know this church here is a little bit liberal. 15:57 Well, this church here is little bit conservative. 15:59 Where in the Bible does it talk about liberal churches 16:02 and conservative churches? 16:05 Politicians do. 16:08 Somebody stay with me. 16:11 We need to be Bible believing Christians. 16:15 What the Bible says, it doesn't talk about liberal, 16:18 it doesn't talk about conservative, 16:19 it talks about following the word of God 16:21 for just the way that it reads. 16:24 Until we get back to that, 16:25 how can we claim the blessings of God? 16:30 This angel comes down. 16:33 He's talking about the people of God are going be prepared 16:36 at Revelation 3, I believe it is 10 16:39 to stand in the hour of temptation. 16:42 God said He's gonna give us power to stand 16:44 through the hour of temptation, 16:46 but He only helps those who Bible says, 16:49 well, they have kept my word. 16:51 Read that verse. 16:53 Those who have kept the word of His patience, 16:56 those who have been following Him, 16:57 He's gonna keep them during that hour. 17:01 So here this angel comes that lights the world 17:03 with the glory of God, I like that. 17:05 Lights the world with what? 17:07 His character. 17:09 How often we've missed that. 17:11 Again we've talked a little better around it all, 17:13 the character of God, 17:15 to be like Him, to be like Jesus, 17:19 to be so empowered by the Holy Spirit 17:21 that conviction comes to you 17:23 wherever you're at on the street, 17:25 wherever you're at in the house, 17:26 you're studying the word God. 17:28 The conviction of the Holy Spirit 17:29 is to lead and to guide 17:30 because you first of all the morning 17:32 you've committed your will to Him. 17:34 Because you want to follow Him, you want to be like Him. 17:39 Many people talk, I found this out. 17:41 Many people talk about the latter rain. 17:42 I don't know how many 17:45 and though everybody I guess it, 17:46 you know, the latter rain, the latter rain 17:48 and we should be talking about it 17:50 but it's like it's just latter rain is going to come 17:52 and it's just gonna fall on everybody 17:54 because that's just a way it's gonna happen. 17:56 No, not at all. 17:59 But it is essential, it is life and death issue. 18:05 The latter rain can only, listen carefully, 18:07 can only fall upon those who have been, 18:11 oh, oh, cleanse from, 18:13 listen church, every defilement. 18:16 The latter rain can only fall on those 18:20 who have been cleansed from every defilement. 18:24 Look at your own life 18:26 that we by the grace of God been cleansed 18:27 from every defilement. 18:30 Do we know the importance of the latter rain? 18:32 Oh, in the series we're gonna be talking 18:34 a whole lot more about it. 18:35 We pray that Holy Spirit will makes, 18:37 it happen to make sense to you. 18:39 Remember it's not something 18:41 just automatically that falls on someone. 18:44 Latter rain givens that we may 18:46 pass through the time of trouble. 18:51 It's going to fall close, you know, 18:53 during the close of the third angel's message 18:55 and given through that loud cry of the third angel. 18:59 It gives power to the third angel's message. 19:02 It's near the end of earth's history. 19:04 Do you believe that we're there? 19:07 See I believe that we are there, 19:10 in school, in high school we had a coach 19:15 and he always said and somebody heard, 19:17 boys, let's not be horsing around. 19:20 There's no time to horse around. 19:23 I see, I believe that 19:24 I hope you understand what I'm talking. 19:26 There's no time to be horsing around. 19:27 There's no time to be playing games. 19:29 We need to get right with Jesus 19:32 and yet sometime we don't understand 19:34 how to get right. 19:37 I consider this a pillar. 19:38 I consider this life and death issue. 19:43 I've always had trouble and if you don't mind 19:45 I just confess to you. 19:47 I've always had trouble. 19:50 When I hear someone say, 19:52 no one will ever be like Jesus. 19:56 I have trouble with that, just allow me to do that, 20:00 I have trouble with that. 20:01 No one will ever be like Jesus, 20:04 but yet we read so many passages, 20:05 we're gonna be reading dozens and dozens, 20:08 that says something else and so we need to look at it. 20:13 Is that what it really says here? 20:16 Are we gonna miss heaven because we've grown careless 20:19 and indifferent and we looked in the mirror, 20:21 we see our failing self so often 20:23 that we just say well, it can't be possible. 20:26 When the Bible says that it is. 20:28 So when I hear people say always, 20:30 well, nobody is going to be like Jesus. 20:32 Oh, no one's gonna gain victory over sin in their life, 20:35 that's what I hear. 20:38 No one. 20:40 No one will ever reach the standard of righteousness. 20:46 I can hardly stand to hear that. 20:47 It's out of tune to me. 20:49 I hope it's out of tune with you. 20:53 No one will ever... 20:55 What do you mean no one will ever reach 20:56 a standard of righteousness? 20:58 Who's gonna make it to heaven? 21:00 And so when people make these little comments, 21:04 they simply say bottom line 21:05 just do the best that you can. 21:08 Do the best as you can and he'll make up the rest. 21:10 And certainly in a sense, in a sense the Bible said, 21:13 Kenny when you have done, 21:15 listen when you have done all to stand, 21:18 when I've done everything that I know 21:20 that is right by the grace of God. 21:22 It's not works, somebody get with me here. 21:27 I've done all that I know 21:28 when I'm doing the best that I... 21:30 It's what truth I understand, 21:31 I'm living up to the light that I have 21:33 that God has given me. 21:36 Then He's going to take up from there, 21:39 but some just say well, do the best you can. 21:41 What is... 21:43 Let me just ask, 21:44 what's the best that you can do? 21:46 What's the best that I can do? 21:48 It's almost like just do the best you can. 21:51 Salvation has nothing to do other than you give your life, 21:54 you. 21:55 Get you out of the picture. 21:57 See, we have to get out of the picture. 21:59 Sure, well, hours is to make a commitment, 22:01 hours is to give our life to Jesus Christ. 22:06 Salvation has to do with Jesus isn't it, His death. 22:09 So the very best that I can do without Jesus is to be lost. 22:15 Think about it. 22:18 Some of these thoughts 22:21 seem to go against clear passages of the Bible. 22:24 I don't know about you but I seems that way to me. 22:27 Bible seems so clear on these, all these issues. 22:31 May I just give you those 22:33 who are looking these up right now, 22:35 just a couple of, we call it food for thought. 22:38 I love food for thought. 22:42 And this is getting... 22:43 We're just scratching right now. 22:46 What do I do? 22:47 Lord, have mercy upon Your people 22:50 who professed to keep the commandments of God, 22:53 have the faith of Jesus or anyone 22:55 who professed to know the name of Jesus. 22:57 When we read passages of scripture like this 22:59 and then we just ignore it. 23:03 Romans 6:22, so clear in the New Testament. 23:07 The Bible says, but now oh, oh, 23:10 now being made free from sin. 23:14 And some of the pathetic excuses that you hear, 23:18 bless you heart. 23:20 Well then I know what it says, but it doesn't mean that. 23:22 Yes, it does. 23:24 Now being made free from sin. 23:29 You know what free here, 23:30 in the Greek free means you've made exempt. 23:34 Wow, you've been delivered from sin. 23:38 You're not a slave to sin, 23:42 but when you are delivered, listen, 23:44 only when you're delivered from sin 23:47 can that verse continue on, then you become servant to God. 23:51 And then you have fruits unto holiness 23:55 the Bible says purity sanctification 23:57 in the end, notice this, everlasting life, 24:00 in the end everlasting life. 24:02 This is to heavy duty just to look, 24:04 and you're gonna say, oh, 24:06 I know what it says being made free form sin. 24:09 Why did Jesus come to this earth? 24:12 Surely to set us free from sin. 24:14 Set us from the bondage of sin and so many other things, 24:18 but notice, He wants us to be free from it, 24:20 not continue in it. 24:24 What am I gonna do with like 1 John 3:6, so clear. 24:31 Notice whosoever, 24:33 now I don't know if you are whosoever 24:35 but I hope that you are a whosoever. 24:38 I'm a whosoever today by the grace of God. 24:42 Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not. 24:47 Did you get it? 24:49 Whosoever abideth in him... 24:53 This is going to tell oh, were you, 24:56 were you abiding in Him 24:58 or whether you're not abiding in Him. 25:00 You can say I'm abiding in Him, 25:02 but the Bible said if we abide in Him he sinneth not. 25:06 Whoo, Lord have mercy. 25:09 Abideth here, what does that mean 25:10 if I'm abiding in Christ you sinneth not, 25:14 that means you don't continue in sin. 25:16 That's what the word abideth. 25:20 That simply means that you, that when you stand in Him. 25:24 When you're really standing in Him, 25:26 when you're growing in Him, 25:27 when you're grafted into Him, 25:30 you receive everything from Him, 25:31 you become like Him, 25:33 by beholding this is we become changed. 25:36 A person in the Greek it says that stays oh, glory. 25:40 It stays with him. 25:42 Oh, I like that. 25:44 If you're abiding or you're staying in Christ, 25:46 you're living in Christ, you're present in Christ, 25:49 you're continuing in Christ, you don't sin. 25:52 The Bible said whosoever sinneth have not seen Him, 25:58 neither known Him. 26:00 Oh, by faith, I have seen Him, 26:02 I know him, I read about Him all the time. 26:04 The Bible is clear. 26:06 Whosoever sinneth had not seen Him neither know Him. 26:13 What does that mean you haven't seen Him? 27:47 "Jesus was manifested to take away our sins." 27:50 This is the whole... 27:51 Listen, the whole issue of the sin came in, 27:54 my brothers and sisters, sin came in to the world, 27:57 Jesus was manifest and came back 28:00 to put us in the right relationship 28:02 or to restore all things. 28:04 To put us in the sinless state, are you still with me? 28:07 Wow. 28:10 Bible said that to take away our sins and in Him was no sin. 28:16 I believe that the Bible teaches that God has power 28:19 to keep the soul in Christ, don't you? 28:24 How dare anybody must stand and say, well, He is not able. 28:27 When you do that or if I do that it's simply 28:29 because we've taken our eyes what? 28:32 We've taken our eyes off from Him. 28:34 We're trying to make excuses maybe for our lifestyle. 28:37 That's just simple passage Jude 24 it says, 28:41 he's able to keep you from what? 28:44 He's able to keep you from falling. 28:47 So see, I'm saying what do we do with that 28:49 when the Bible simply says, 28:51 He wants us to be made free from sin. 28:54 If we abide in Him, we don't sin. 28:57 As long as we keep walking and going and doing, 28:59 face God we have an affidavit with the Father, 29:00 thank you for the blood. 29:02 Jude 24 said, he's... 29:04 he'll keep you from falling. 29:07 How wonderful. 29:08 What it may be a good thought, 29:09 may be it's just a new thought for some. 29:12 But you don't get holiness is not just a feeling 29:15 not a just an emotion. 29:18 It's relationship with Jesus Christ 29:20 based upon what the word says. 29:23 There is a sobering thought. 29:26 I'm a believer in the Spirit of Prophecy. 29:28 And I'll just fuss along with, 29:32 with you on it if you don't agree. 29:34 And some would don't agree 29:35 because they don't understand it, 29:36 others have read it, may be thrown it out, 29:38 others are disregarding it 29:39 because it's stepped on your old little toes. 29:42 Yeah, oh, yeah, you got your little feelings hurt, 29:44 you want to continue doing what you're doing 29:46 and it called sin by its right name 29:48 and so you want to throw it out 29:49 rather than make a change, I know. 29:51 I'm thankful. 29:53 Notice one testimony 466 tells us. 29:57 Now I want you to take this with a grain, 30:00 I want you to think with me. 30:02 Nearly all who professed to believe present truth, 30:04 is there anyone that believes in present truth? 30:07 Almost everybody out here, 30:09 we need to get back to present truth. 30:10 Man, let's talk about present truth. 30:12 Well, praise God, we need to get back to it 30:14 because we've left it. 30:15 We need to get back to it because we watered it down, 30:17 stomped on it. 30:19 And God's asking for people to come about it 30:21 and present what is truth 30:23 while the opportunity is still there. 30:24 Present what is truth 30:26 and God said, I'll bless you for it. 30:28 So when you say, I want present truth, 30:30 we need this truth, we need those old truth, 30:32 bring them back up to the front. 30:35 But then when I read the rest of this, and oh, oh, 30:39 those who professed to believe present truth are holy unfitted 30:43 to receive the latter rain. 30:44 I know it was written quite a while ago 30:47 but then my question comes back to each one of us, 30:49 have things really improved? 30:51 Have things really gotten better? 30:52 Is world a lot better now? 30:54 Are we a lot better? 30:55 Are we really drawing closer to Jesus? 30:56 Are we really had the message? 30:58 Are we really doing right 30:59 or may be are we unfitted to receive the latter rain? 31:04 I know that we needed to live through the time of trouble 31:07 to present the third angel's message to give it power. 31:10 I've heard it said so often 31:11 well, we're presenting all the three angels' message. 31:13 We're presenting mark of the beast, 31:14 third angel's message. 31:17 Let me tell you when that fourth angel comes down, 31:20 it lends light and power to that. 31:22 The same words may be spoken, 31:23 the same Bible passages may be read. 31:25 The one that spirit of the living God gets a hold. 31:28 You see, these words are going to mean something to us, 31:31 it's going to bring conviction upon the hearts 31:32 and the minds of people, 31:33 and many will be turned to Him and many will be turned away 31:36 and turned on you. 31:39 Are we unfit to receive the latter rain? 31:41 Oh, I need it. 31:43 Do you desire it? 31:45 I read a little Manuscript 148, 31:48 this is written in 1899, but you know what? 31:51 Don't say, oh, that's a long time. 31:53 Truth is truth don't care how old it is. 31:55 if it's truth, it's truth, it remains truth. 31:58 This might shock some of you... 32:01 Oh, I think some of the people will need to be shocked. 32:04 We've grown lukewarm, we've grown cold. 32:07 We need to change, you know, it bothers, 32:09 I see it everyday in my own life 32:11 but I hear people say, 32:13 no things are going really well now, 32:14 I think we're doing real, well, we're gonna... 32:16 Don't you see that we may be lack some things 32:20 to repopulate heaven. 32:25 Notice what it says, it says 32:27 exact obedience is required. 32:32 Oh, and those that say that 32:33 it is not possible to live a perfect life, live, 32:39 notice, throw upon God the amputation 32:41 or they charge God of injustice and truce. 32:45 Did you... This is heavy. 32:47 Exact obedience is required. 32:50 Now somebody debate that. 32:52 I'm not trying to be ugly and bad, I just... 32:55 I want my mind to be clear on it. 32:58 We either believe it or we don't 33:00 because the Bible said be free from sin that you sin not, 33:02 we're gonna read all kind of passages 33:04 when we go through the study, 33:05 but right here right now exact obedience is required, 33:08 and there are those who say what? 33:11 It's not possible to live a perfect life. 33:13 Then you are saying that God is a liar, 33:16 that's what it is. 33:17 You're saying He is injust, He is not just, He is liar. 33:22 And surely you wouldn't say that, 33:24 you don't mean to say that, 33:25 but when we make these kind of statements, 33:27 look out my brothers and sisters, 33:28 you don't want to call God a liar, 33:31 I know you don't. 33:34 Little book that I love Christ Object Lesson 69, 33:37 now let's... 33:38 This is probably the most well known little quote, 33:42 we're talking about it in Adventism 33:43 but again it's new for some of you 33:45 and I don't mind to jar, you know why? 33:47 Because I believe this. 33:48 You'll say well, we didn't know what, 33:49 you know, these people here, we be careful we don't, 33:52 the Holy Spirit knows who is gonna listen, 33:53 who is not gonna be listen, 33:55 who is ready, who is not ready 33:56 who will accept it, who will not, 33:57 God didn't ask you, 33:59 he said you just tell the truth. 34:00 You tell the truth leave it to me. 34:02 Oh, that make sense to me. 34:04 I can't do anything, I'm just gonna present 34:05 what Jesus said to present. 34:07 It's all in Christ Object Lesson page 69, 34:10 notice it says, now this is it, 34:12 when the character of Christ shall be perfectly... 34:17 When the character of Christ shall be perfectly 34:20 reproduced in His people 34:22 then He will come to claim them as His own. 34:26 What do I do with that? 34:29 What do I do? 34:31 You know, we're talking righteousness by faith. 34:35 Righteousness by faith. 34:38 When His character is perfectly reproduced in His people, 34:41 then He will come. 34:43 And I've often said, 34:44 He is not waiting on all these other things. 34:47 Some people are waiting for the Sunday laws. 34:48 They are waiting for all these things and then they, 34:50 they think they're gonna shift it in gear. 34:51 No, you're not going to. 34:53 You may try to shift it in gear 34:54 but you're already ground down to the axle right now, 34:56 you're buried, 34:57 you're not gonna be able to get out, 34:58 now is the time to get out. 35:00 Now is the time to do something 35:02 while you can by the grace of God. 35:04 One of these days is going to be 35:05 oh, it's going to be too late. 35:09 What do you do with that? 35:10 Are you making excuses for these 35:13 just few Bible passage that we read, 35:14 we'll have dozens more. 35:17 What do we do with Spirit of Prophecy 35:19 when it's perfectly reproduced, you know why? 35:22 Again, we spend too much time looking in the mirror saying 35:24 oh, I'm sinful, oh, I can't get the victory, 35:26 I've tired, I've been defeated, 35:28 you've been defeated 35:29 because you've been fighting the Holy Spirit. 35:31 I'm defeated, when I'm defeated 35:32 because I've turned my back on the spirit of the living God 35:35 because you're convicted as a Christian, 35:37 you know right from wrong. 35:39 Somebody challenge me. 35:42 You know you're child of God, the Holy Spirit lets you know, 35:45 this is the way to walk. 35:47 And when you go to the opposite of that, 35:49 oh, look out. 35:51 We've let go of His hand, we've chosen another leader, 35:54 it may be temporary but you've let go of the hand of Jesus, 35:58 you got a hold of the enemy. 35:59 When you tell, I say oh, it's just a little white lie, 36:01 oh, the devil is a liar. 36:03 There is no such thing as a white lie, 36:05 you know that. 36:07 A lie is a lie. Deception is deception. 36:11 The devil is the deceiver. 36:14 And so when we do these sayings and we gossip, 36:16 we backbite, we talk about, we criticize in the church, 36:19 you're not a child of God. 36:21 That's not gonna be repopulate heaven. 36:23 We need to repent of those things, 36:24 get focused on giving this message, 36:26 after all and then 3ABN here pillars of faith 36:30 want to wake up people 36:32 to say we can't continue the same lifestyle 36:34 same way that we've always been doing things in the church. 36:38 The church should be a house of saints. 36:41 It should be of people that's been converted, 36:43 been convicted, converted 36:44 and change into the image of Jesus. 36:47 That's a wonderful place, 36:48 you can't wait to come for services 36:51 rather than avoiding or walking down another aisle, 36:53 not looking somebody in the eyes, something's wrong. 36:58 Exact obedience... 37:02 and you say, why you all worked up about. 37:07 I do get worked up about it because I'm concerned 37:09 because I do believe this. 37:12 Many will not be ready to meet Jesus, why? 37:16 If nothing else is because 37:17 they do not understand the subject. 37:21 Now I'm not saying I understand everything about it, 37:23 but I've read enough 37:24 and conviction of the Holy Spirit 37:26 to say this is the truth, walk ye in it. 37:28 And it's not been the easiest thing 37:30 because I put up a fight. 37:32 It can be easiest, we just totally submit to Jesus Christ. 37:36 Totally let his mind, right, come in. 37:38 I don't need my mind, my mind is deceased and messed up. 37:42 Anybody else want to say that? No, you won't say it. 37:47 I can't make the right choices. 37:49 I don't know how to make the right choices on my own. 37:52 I make the wrong choices. 37:53 Every time I turn around, I make the wrong choice 37:55 but if Him leading, He makes the choice for me, 37:58 that's the will that we were talking about. 38:00 This is the victory that we're promised. 38:05 I think about the loud cry. 38:07 See, we talked about there will be new words 38:09 for many of you here 38:10 but they will be old words for others, 38:12 but try to associate 38:13 and try to work it together here. 38:16 The loud cry we're talking about given in his fullness 38:20 cannot be given until the latter rain falls. 38:24 So I'm gonna challenge a lot of you, 38:25 there will probably be some letters few years old. 38:27 I don't mind backing it up. 38:29 The loud cry in his fullness cannot be given until what? 38:32 Come on church, until the latter rain has fallen, 38:36 the latter rain cannot do its work 38:38 unless we receive the early rain first, 38:41 make sense. 38:42 Got to receive the early rain first, 38:44 then the latter rain, 38:45 we'll be going in that on another study. 38:50 And when the early rain is given 38:52 or when we accept Christ as our Lord and our savior, 38:55 all the things are passed, glory, 38:57 behold all things become new. 39:00 We confessed our sins, 39:02 He's faithful and just to forgive us we stand new, 39:03 we stand righteous before Him. 39:06 Oh, how little our faith is that we cannot even acclaim 39:10 you know 1 John 1:9, 39:11 "If we confessed our sins He's faithful 39:13 and just to forgive us, 39:15 and He cleanse us from all unrighteous." 39:18 Oh yeah, I think. No, that's what the Bible said. 39:21 If you mean it from a contrived heart, 39:22 if you really ask for forgiveness of sin 39:24 and you ask Him and you claim His blood 39:26 and you're covered, 39:27 when you stand up at that moment, 39:29 you are righteous before Him because of Jesus, 39:32 not because you've done anything good, 39:33 you never will and I won't either. 39:37 But because of Him at that moment 39:39 you're perfect in that stage 39:44 because you've confessed your sins, 39:45 He is faithful and just to forgive, 39:47 either forgiven or you're not. 39:48 And mostly you'll think, I'll pray 39:49 but I'm not really forgiven, well, you're not then. 39:52 Faith. 39:55 You see our problem, 39:58 if we come to this point remember in the early rain, 40:02 we confessed our sins, overcomers, 40:04 overcome sins should be going from our life. 40:08 But if we don't come to this point then we, 40:12 and then we believe that it can't be done. 40:13 See this is, 40:15 may be the majority of many people today 40:16 that it can't be done, 40:18 so if you believe that it can't be done, 40:19 what, you don't attempt. 40:21 If you just write it off and say, 40:23 well, this isn't never gonna happen in my life. 40:24 I can guarantee you 40:25 it's not gonna happen in your life, 40:27 because it's by faith. 40:29 Used to have a lady that used to call me all the time. 40:32 Made just a little illustration if you don't mind, 40:34 called me all the time and she'll say, 40:35 Kenny, I want you to pray for me. 40:37 And, of course, I got bold, I knew her very well 40:39 and say won't you, won't you pray for yourself? 40:42 Because I knew what she's gonna say, 40:43 somebody stay with me. 40:46 Oh, I need somebody to pray with me. 40:49 I said I'll be glad to pray with you 40:50 but why don't you pray. 40:51 Well, Kenny, you know why I don't pray for myself 40:53 because my prayers go no higher than my ceiling. 40:57 I said that's exactly right. Your faith is where? 41:01 The ceiling, that's exactly, that's exact, 41:04 your faith put your prayers to the ceiling as it were 41:08 and that's as high as they go, or your faith can go what? 41:12 Boldly to the throne of God 41:14 and find help in our time of need. 41:17 Loud cry given in its fullness. 41:21 Many will not try because it simply said, pastor said, 41:25 this is not possible. 41:26 The evangelist said it' not possible. 41:28 My God says that it is possible, 41:31 but I know it's only by beholding Him. 41:33 I know it's no longer I but Christ. 41:36 I cannot do it on my own, you cannot do it on your own, 41:40 but don't say that the Holy Spirit, 41:43 God the Father, Son, the Holy Spirit, 41:46 the Godhead can't help you to do that 41:48 if you surrender to him. 41:51 Six Testimonies 128, 41:53 it's very clear the third angel's message 41:55 is the great testing truth for the time, 41:59 and notice it is to be taught. 42:03 I like that, it is to be taught, 42:05 somebody well, we've heard enough about that. 42:07 Well, who are you? Who am I? 42:10 Inspiration says it is to be taught. 42:12 This is our message, this is a pillar. 42:16 Is somebody still with me? 42:17 And then what it says pillars of faith. 42:20 The pillar of the Bible 42:21 is that we're to give the three angels' message 42:24 and not the water down version that's being given many times. 42:27 People have the audacity to preach it. 42:29 I better be careful, I'll get off this thing. 42:32 Audacity say I'll get the three angels' message 42:34 and preach the three angels' message 42:36 and I preached 30 minutes and say they've covered it. 42:42 This is the warning, 42:44 last message to go to the world. 42:47 But you know we're talking about there, 42:49 there're conditions, there's conditions that must be met. 42:54 I'm still in there fighting and by the grace of God 42:57 but there's conditions that must be met 42:59 before we receive that latter rain. 43:02 And it is life and death issue and we must be prepared. 43:06 And the latter rain cannot fall on us 43:08 if we have one un-confessed sin, 43:10 it won't don it, it can't do it. 43:13 I can't make it to heaven without it. 43:20 Maybe we would be safe to say this we know, 43:25 the latter rain is long overdue. 43:28 I hope somebody agrees with me, 43:30 the latter rain is long overdue. 43:34 How about God's people? 43:36 Maybe God's giving us another, another, 43:39 He wants another effort forward to come in line. 43:44 God has a time and I believe that God has a purpose 43:47 for the latter rain. 43:49 You say, well, you know, and again even in Adventism 43:52 or wherever it might be, 43:54 there's always two main veins of thought 43:56 or there's three main veins of thought. 43:59 I don't know if the Bible really does it that way or not, 44:01 my brothers and my sisters, 44:02 there should be a way we can find out what truth is, 44:04 don't you think? 44:08 But you know that just for the sake of people maybe, 44:12 you know, they want to know 44:14 maybe the two main vein of thought here. 44:16 Some believe the latter rain is going to be poured out when? 44:19 During the little time of trouble, 44:21 and some never heard that 44:23 but realize there's gonna be little time of trouble 44:24 and than a big time of trouble. 44:27 Soon it's gonna be pour out, 44:29 soon after the national Sunday laws 44:30 some have never heard that, 44:31 that law is past, there will be one, 44:34 I'm gonna stand right now 44:35 and you can write it down say he is talking about it. 44:38 Many others talk about it, it's true. 44:41 Second line of thought 44:43 some believe that the church, 44:45 listen, the church is going to be revived by what? 44:49 By the latter rain before the national Sunday law, 44:53 notice that, and this brings persecution to the church 44:57 and persecution, listen, comes to the church, 45:00 there will be a revival of true godliness. 45:04 If we ever need a revival of true godliness 45:07 would it not be now? 45:09 Would it not be now a revival? 45:15 This is sure. This is sure. 45:17 If you accept the message of righteousness, 45:21 let's just say by faith. 45:24 If you're proclaiming that God can give us victory in our life 45:27 that we might be like Him. 45:29 We might be like the angels of heaven. 45:31 We may be He wants us to be. 45:33 We may be a people who will vindicate God's character. 45:39 There will be a people, he's trusting you 45:42 and he's trusting me to vindicate His character. 45:44 Oh, Lord, have mercy on us, how we've let you down. 45:50 But you can be assured 45:54 if we begin to preach and teach and live this message, 45:57 there will be a revival of true godliness 46:01 in our church among us. 46:03 It will bring us out of this lukewarm condition. 46:07 Lukewarm is horrible condition to be in. 46:10 It's confusing position may be to be in 46:13 because people don't know the difference sometime 46:16 because they're not studying 46:17 to see whether these things be so. 46:20 We need to come out of that lukewarm condition. 46:23 There's gonna be a spark, 46:24 there's gonna be a revival in the church, 46:27 and that's gonna bring about I believe the latter rain, 46:29 the final loud cry, 46:31 the ceiling of God's people here in this last days. 46:36 And where does it start? 46:37 Lord, have mercy, where does it start? 46:40 Now, somebody say, let's not get too emotional about it, 46:42 somebody needs to be, 46:44 your life is on the line so as mine for eternity. 46:47 Enough of foolishness going on far as I'm concerned. 46:49 May just be me speaking to myself 46:51 but I'm gonna do it anyway. 46:52 The Holy Spirit has impressed me everyday, 46:54 all the foolishness stuff is going on in the world, 46:56 all the waste of time and all of these, and these, 46:58 and these, and these, and these, 46:59 when nothing matters but giving this message out 47:01 and getting right with God, 47:03 to live the life that will be holy 47:05 and pleasing in his sight 47:06 that one day we may repopulate heaven. 47:08 Oh, I want to that, I know you do to. 47:11 No one said it would be easy. 47:13 No one said there wouldn't be a cost, there is. 47:16 Where do I start? 47:18 Doesn't it start with you today? 47:20 Doesn't it start with me? 47:22 See, I'm not supposed to wait 47:25 for some kind of a special thing to happen, 47:29 like an Adventism would say well, 47:30 when the Sunday law, when the pope... 47:35 I don't have to watch the pope. 47:38 I read what the Bible has to say. 47:40 I already know who the beast power is. 47:42 I already know what he's going to do, 47:43 why 'cause Bible says so. 47:45 I need to be focused, 47:46 and I know we need to know this thing 47:48 but I need to know what Jesus has said. 47:51 I need to know the power that He's offered to me 47:53 and offered to you. 47:55 I don't have to wait for something big happens, 47:59 it simply lift my brothers and sisters today. 48:02 Today I give myself to you Lord. 48:05 It seems so simple. 48:09 But it's very difficult for many, 48:11 may be difficult for you today 48:12 or tonight you may say I don't know if I can do that. 48:15 Oh, by the grace God you can. 48:17 It starts I give myself to you today. 48:22 This moment, this moment things can change in your heart 48:27 and change in your life. 48:31 A beautiful book that I read and like 48:34 is called Testimonies to Ministers page 64, 48:37 remember holiness is not just a feeling. 48:42 And in this book first we've just been talking about here, 48:46 it says the church needs to be converted 48:50 and oh, the people have began to squirm and the preachers 48:54 and the teachers began to squirm and say, oh, 48:57 get them out of here, I don't want to hear that. 49:00 I say the church, I say you and me 49:03 not trying to judge anybody here, 49:05 we need to be thoroughly converted. 49:09 I need to be brokenhearted. 49:12 Bible said we need to have a contrite spirit. 49:16 Contrite spirit needs because of my wrongs, 49:19 it has literally crushed me. 49:23 Maybe some of you've lived through that, I have. 49:26 You are crushed because of the wrong choices 49:28 that you've made, you can't change it, 49:30 but you've been crushed, you have remorse. 49:36 God's people realize that time is short 49:38 that Jesus is coming. 49:40 We'll be weeping between the porch and the altar. 49:44 We'll be putting forth earnest supplications, 49:47 earnest supplications, what, for our brothers and our sister 49:51 and certainly for our self, 49:52 but we're going to be praying for our church, 49:53 we're gonna be praying for the people, 49:55 we're gonna be praying one for another. 49:59 We will be doing that because what we realize 50:02 then the Holy Spirit is going to be poured out, 50:06 and when it's poured out, it's poured out from on high, 50:08 it's gonna saturate us, 50:09 it's gonna where it encompass all around us, 50:11 we're gonna be just filled with the Spirit of God, 50:14 and then it becomes no longer I but what? 50:16 No longer I but Christ, 50:18 it's no longer you. 50:24 We often think about how does, how does God view me, 50:31 how does God really view me? 50:37 And it's good food for thought 50:38 because it keeps coming back to me. 50:42 It's not how God views me 50:47 that I may have eternal salvation 50:49 but it's how, how God views His son. 50:53 Are you still with me, church? 50:55 It's how God views His son 50:57 because He doesn't look at this miserable wretch. 51:02 Heaven will be your home, my home because of Jesus. 51:06 How does God feel about Jesus? 51:08 Oh, oh, how wonderful. 51:10 He gained the victory, He offers it to me, 51:14 He offers it to you. 51:18 God's given us some message 51:19 that we need to be carrying to the world 51:21 with deep conviction, not foolishness, 51:24 adjusting and making light of what He's given, 51:28 not mixed down in water down 51:29 like it doesn't make any difference 51:31 as long as you talk about Jesus, 51:32 it's all gonna be all right. 51:34 He's given us a specific message. 51:36 Righteousness by faith, being holy, 51:38 being like Jesus, get things right. 51:42 Remember, my brothers and sisters, 51:44 regardless of what your life has been and my life has been. 51:46 I'm so thankful to realize what the Bible has said, 51:48 there is no sin that God cannot forgive. 51:52 Oh, what an encouragement to a sinner, 51:57 a work to be done. 52:00 Is that of John the Baptist and what did he do? 52:03 His work was calling men to, we know it repent, 52:06 and prepare to stand in the day of the Lord. 52:09 That's our message to give to the world. 52:13 Prepare to meet thy God. 52:16 People would think you're nuts today, 52:17 you go around street corner 52:18 and say prepare to meet your God. 52:21 There will be a lot that might turn on you 52:23 and say you better prepare. 52:25 You know why we need to be prepared for such an hour? 52:28 So we think not. 52:30 In Great Controversy 606 makes this statement, 52:35 says man of faith, I like this, 52:37 man of faith and prayer will be constrained to go forth 52:41 with holy zeal. 52:43 Holy zeal is what we need. 52:46 I heard somebody say today, 52:48 why we need to go and visit so and so church down here. 52:50 Pastor cracks one joke after the other, 52:52 the church is rolling in the aisles, 52:54 they are laughing and having a good time, 52:56 that's an easy way to hell, I'll tell you that right now. 52:59 You can talk about all you want and criticize all you want. 53:02 This is not a time for that. 53:04 This is a time that men of faith 53:05 and prayer will go forth with zeal and says 53:08 that means a warmth, 53:10 that means an earnestness, they're sincere. 53:13 Bible said Revelation 3:19 that we do what? 53:16 We need to be zealous of good what? 53:18 Good works. 53:20 Zealous and repent, Revelation 3:19, 53:24 Titus 2:14 says, "Zealous of good works." 53:27 Acts 22, the Bible said verse 3, 53:30 "Zealous toward God." 53:31 We need to be warm, we need to be hot, 53:33 we need to be on fire for Jesus Christ. 53:37 And do Him what? 53:38 Claiming that which He has given us to give to the world. 53:43 I'll take that serious 53:44 and I'm sure that many do today. 53:47 I'm not out here and boasting, oh, I'm the only one. 53:49 I feel it day in and day out, 53:52 I'm getting more tired of this world that you, 53:54 it's just everything you see it 53:56 seems the enemy is taking control of everything 53:59 that we see out there, 54:00 everything it seems that's going on. 54:01 And I'm not trying to be just picking... 54:04 the conviction of the spirit, 54:05 that's not where the heaven's like, 54:06 the world is not what heavens like, 54:08 things are going on and that's not what heavens about, 54:10 I can't waste my time in foolishness right now. 54:14 We're to go zealous, we're to labor 54:20 and what are these labors well, 54:21 you know we're gonna have to go 54:22 and we're gonna have to have a world work. 54:24 Listen, labors were told will be qualified 54:26 rather by the unction of what? 54:28 The Spirit of God than by the training 54:30 of literary institution. 54:31 Why can't we just buy that? 54:33 Why we can't we just accept that? 54:35 God will use who He will. 54:38 Whether anybody likes it or not. 54:40 There will be people who try to stop you from doing 54:42 what God has asked you to do 54:44 because they don't see it the way you see it. 54:45 That's too bad. 54:47 Aren't you glad that God doesn't impress all of us 54:49 do the very same thing and many of us are like this, 54:52 and this is what we're doing, this is all that we see, 54:54 this is all we're doing, this is all that we're doing. 55:00 There is vast world work, 55:03 there is a place for everybody to fit. 55:04 Oh, God help me to fit where you want me to fit. 55:09 And I encourage you a last couple of minutes 55:11 that we have. 55:13 I love Revelation 22:17, 55:17 it talks about somebody being thirsty. 55:21 I don't know if you ever really been thirsty, 55:24 probably most of us have. 55:26 And really want to drink water. 55:30 Jesus uses that illustration there 55:34 and he simply says let him that is the thirst, 55:37 let him do, come. 55:40 He didn't say you have to do, he just said come on. 55:45 If you're thirsty come on. Oh, wow. 55:49 Whosoever will the Bible said, 55:51 let him take of the water of life freely. 55:55 He offers it to you, he offers to me freely. 55:58 I haven't earned it, I haven't deserved it, 56:01 it's a free gift. 56:03 But he offer it and he gives it. 56:06 Because He came and He lived that perfect life. 56:10 He won back this world. 56:12 He won back humanity from the devil, 56:16 and He offers it free to me and you today. 56:18 Why don't we just accept it as a free gift? 56:22 Oh, certainly there is things 56:23 that we need to do to follow along 56:25 'cause you know, for grafted in we're going to want to, 56:27 you know, growing to be like Jesus. 56:31 Holiness is not just a feeling so I like to pray with you, 56:34 I'm sure that many have made a decision 56:36 not because anything has been said here 56:37 but what the Holy Spirit has taken the message, 56:40 put in your ears where you hear something's brought conviction, 56:42 and would you just pray with me 56:43 as we close that the Spirit of God 56:45 would just make those decisions final right now, let's pray. 56:49 Merciful Father in heaven, 56:50 we thank You for the privilege of prayer. 56:52 We thank You we can call You our Father. 56:53 Thank you for Calvary. 56:55 Thank you for that blood that washes us whiter than snow. 56:57 Thank You that You said I'm coming again. 56:59 You're coming after people without spot or wrinkle 57:01 or any such thing. 57:02 We pray that You take the words that have been spoken 57:04 and we pray that they'll hear, 57:06 people will hear them and accept them, 57:07 be drawn to you and I thank You in Jesus name. 57:10 Amen. 57:12 You know, our last few seconds 57:14 I just thank you for joining us here. 57:16 We're talking about Pillars of Faith. 57:17 Praise God, there's many, many, many more. 57:20 You had the opportunity, be sure you tune in every time, 57:22 pencil and paper write down and you know what, 57:24 pray for us, we need it. 57:26 God bless you.
