I just know that 02:10 they're just not liking each other. 02:14 I know that you do. 02:16 And pastoral ministries 02:19 shared 02:21 the do's and don'ts. 02:23 What would you have to put scriptures to? You have that 02:26 you I always get calls from people that are having marital 02:29 issues, manly issue. So here's some scriptures for those of 02:33 you we want to share with your neighbors or whoever might be 02:36 having an issue. Here's Genesis Chapter 2 verse. 24 does. 02:41 And a man and his wife shall become one flesh. That was 02:44 God's ideal will become 1, 1, in my character, all of those 02:49 things. And then Roman's 14, 19, 02:52 it says, pursue the things which make for peace and the 02:56 building up of one another. You know, when you join 02:59 yourself with another person, you promise to think good of 03:04 the other person and want to benefit them in rather than 03:08 being of yourself. So that's what 03:10 God's words telling us. Here's Colossians 3.14, above all 03:14 these things put on love, 03:18 which is the bond of perfection. When we're thinking 03:21 of others were saying love, we're thinking Southwest Luv 03:25 with thinking about the other person rather than selfish. 03:27 That's usually the problem isn't that the people have are 03:30 thinking about ourselves and so selfishness and guards come to 03:34 take care of our selfishness. When we you are soft and geez, 03:37 we can't do it by ourselves. We've got to keep fueling our 03:40 ourselves to Jesus. And there's another one. Love is patient. 03:44 Love is kind and it does not envy. It does not boost its not 03:49 proud. He's not rude. It is not self-seeking. 03:55 It is not easily angered. Wow. That's amazing. It keeps 03:59 no record of wrong. Haha 04:01 and love does not delight in evil, not rejoices with the 04:06 truth. 04:08 It always protects. Always trusts. Always hopes 04:14 always perseveres. 04:17 Love never fails again. That's first Corinthians 13, 4 through 04:22 8. There's more money. 04:25 >> But I mean, please remember that first group is 30. Some people, he's homeless means any 05:27 money hurt. So he said these people say here's $100 for 05:30 doing our yard work you. So how about a little puppy 05:32 there in the kennel or cage can kind of have a little puppy. 05:36 And so yesterday you can take the place. You can keep $200. 05:39 I want the puppy won something to love. You just talk whether 05:44 he wants something to love. And I just don't know when the 05:46 story got. So that's good enough. You need to pray with 05:49 him. And then I said, oh, so came back on some kind of war 05:52 to pray with you. He suggest, please pray for my mom or his 05:55 mom, Brenda. She had cancer. They said they're now down with 05:59 him on that payment. I pray with him. He just looked at me 06:01 said thank you so much. Prayer does something for moves, 06:05 things just incredible when you can have the opportunity to 06:08 prove something that and that brings up means. 06:12 >> I think that we've all heard this, that bda obedience is the 06:16 pathway to blessing move 06:19 or there's a lot of words or 06:22 what does that even mean had to say by study that will be used 06:27 as the pathway to blessing? 06:29 Yes, 06:31 what does it say? A few weeks ago, 10:05 I decided to try to go back to church and I got to the parking 10:09 lot and said there for about 20 minutes, but physically could 10:15 not get out of my car and pray that I can overcome and claim 10:20 the victory. 10:21 >> Jesus says from us and can I say a prayer for that absolute 10:27 on the other past year while father in heaven? The our 10:30 hearts are just burdened by this man here. That used to be 10:34 a part of your group and lard. We as a church messed it up 10:38 where he felt come down by us large. We're asking you for 10:42 forgiveness for what we have done to put a barrier between 10:46 this man in you nor were lifting him up to you just now 10:49 specifically praying that you given that courage and strength 10:53 in his legs wouldn't move at you would come inside of him 10:57 and be able to join a group and pray that that church will be 11:00 open arms and welcome him back. Lord, 13:55 you can take down this demonic forces trying to hold our 13:57 brother doing down as a demonic lord was of just driving in 14:01 cutting himself with stones and frothing at the mouth. Please also pray for my dad and 14:52 in-laws to give their lives to God to instill with Laura from 14:56 South Korea. I pray that God would heal my friend's mom who 14:59 has been going through a lot of pain for a long time now, 15:02 even though she already had surgery and I praise the Lord 15:06 for my mom and sister who pray for others a lot. I pray to God 15:09 blesses them and you in a very special way, 15:13 a prayer request from anonymous via text. She's been in a coma for almost a year after a 15:43 surgery that was supposed to be successful for an aneurism. 15:47 Please pray God's mercy and grace to be shown by waking her 15:50 up for strength and comfort. Her pastor Rudy as he goes 15:54 through this trial. And finally on this page here, pretty 15:57 please pray for her friend. This is from Stella. Please 16:01 pray for a friend. Pauline. Her son is in prison. She sent 16:06 and all the paperwork to go. Visit her son who she hasn't 16:09 seen in 5 years. Another prison is saying that they never 16:12 received the paperwork. I think of 16:28 Pauline, whose desire is to visit her son was in prison and 16:33 it makes me think of you whose desire is to be reunited with 16:37 your children. Learn. It's not a matter of paperwork is just a 16:41 matter of hearts being reunited with you. But we lift up all 16:44 the situation and we just ask for you to intercede in grant 16:48 her access to her son. We pray for Vivian Lord that it's been 16:54 in a coma for over a year. I don't comprehend the inner 16:58 workings. Well, the mind or the heart of the body, the brain, 17:01 but, you know, all those things and we lived her case. Her 17:04 situation up to you number, the hairs of her head and her very 17:08 life is in your hands. Lord, we ask for your intervention for 17:12 your name to be glorified when through all that happens, 17:17 Lord, I pray for Sarah and Michael, their children to 17:19 desire crazed man and we join with the Lord's Prayer request 17:24 that to her 8 year-old daughter hope that daddy would keep the 17:27 Sabbath. And Lord, I know there are countless others right now 17:31 we're praying for loved ones, family members near and far, 17:35 but their hearts would turn to you. And you promised that to 17:39 the hearts of family would be turned to each other and 17:42 ultimately to you that we give thanks to you for what you've 17:44 done in the name of Jesus, Amen. 17:48 >> Joe, I want to I'd like for you to share something or just 17:51 a second. I've got colon cancer. 18:18 Barber is one of those type of people you talk to for a while 18:21 you just leveled. 18:23 So we are praying for you, Barbara. She says we will 18:26 continue to pray for you. We all know Ashley Barber and 18:29 you know, so just keep her really joy or English accent. 18:34 Yeah. Yeah. Strong accent. Joe, what were you shocked? 18:38 Sure. 18:39 >> I I'd like to add to what Dan said a moment ago about 18:42 marriage and just add one little thing that's worth 18:45 looking up in the Bible. And that is First Corinthians 18:49 chapter 7. It's a short chapter. It deals with marriage 18:54 issues and I think it's well worth writing that down. 18:58 First Corinthians chapter 7. Add that to your study on 19:01 marriage. 19:03 >> I would also include Ephesians 5, 2, years. A lot to 19:05 say 19:06 and 19:08 >> the prayers we're saying here are important to us 19:13 because it's well, it's not a business. It's a ministry, 19:16 but a meme. But it's serious. 19:19 It's serious because the creator of the universe is is 19:23 letting us have the opportunity and the privilege to pray for 19:27 people. And 19:30 God says you receive not because you asked not. So he 19:36 less is everybody. I don't care how deep into sin you are at 19:40 the moment. 19:41 Talk to him. He will help you man. 19:45 And at the same time, he says 19:48 the prayers of a righteous person availeth much 19:52 and that means a person who kneels before God 19:59 shares his sins and says 20:02 I'm tired of that. I don't like it. I'm asking for forgiveness. 20:05 I want a clean heart McLean mine and especially if we pray 20:10 for people, it's important 20:13 that for your sake, 20:15 we do what we're called to do and that is get our lives right 20:18 with God. 20:19 So that the prayers of a little much an example of this taking 20:24 place would be 20:29 a story that is is not a request from someone, but but a 20:33 testimony of thank you. 20:35 Give you an example because we get a lot of these 2. 20:40 The woman calls in and she says this is from North Dakota. 20:44 A woman calls in it. She says 20:47 pray for my daughter. She has a job. The employer doesn't pay 20:51 on time. And so she has trouble getting her 20:54 house payment, made her rent payment, made on time and so 20:59 pray that the check will come to come to it on time. Pray 21:03 that should give her rent paid on time 21:06 this month because it's that time again. 21:09 And so we had a prayer about that. 21:13 And then 21:15 a little later about a week later, she calls again, we're 21:18 talking and she says, I just want to 21:20 I just want to thank you for praying for my daughter because 21:26 she got her check on time 21:28 and she paid her rent on time came out and her landlord 21:33 reduced her rent on. How often do you hear that? Yeah, it's 21:39 it's fun to walk with God because, well, here's an 21:43 example. When people get tired of church when they get tired 21:48 of praying and nothing ever happens, they don't get their 21:51 their answers. They begin to say, well, I don't have time 21:55 for that. 21:57 And so they call in and complain. You know, I I prefer 22:01 blessing this and that blessing in I don't get anything. 22:04 And 22:05 so what what use is it? What good is it? And they're about 22:08 to walk away from Christianity and God and Jesus and the whole 22:14 the whole gift. 22:15 And 22:18 I want to say this to help us all. 22:21 No, how 22:23 to increase our blessings. 22:27 I love this one. There's a few things I can say like 22:31 Matthew 6.33, says seek first the kingdom of God 22:36 and his righteousness, 2 things 22:40 and all these other things will be added unto you. Now 22:44 God owns everything. And he says all these things will be 22:48 added unto you. 22:51 There's the key. 22:53 If you 22:54 seek first the kingdom that means go to church. 22:58 That means pay your ties. 23:00 That means 23:02 follow him 23:04 and his righteousness, which means we have 10 Commandments, 23:09 never right. And we should follow those. At least it's a 23:12 start. And then he says 23:15 all these things will be added to add in Titus. It says 23:21 in hope of eternal life. Now that's a big gift, 23:24 which God 23:27 that can align. So if he says he's going to bless you, 23:30 he wants to bless you. He's trying to bless you. Let him 23:34 bless you will. How 23:37 here's that. It's very simple. This a, you know, a grammar 23:40 school child can understand this. 23:43 Behold, I said before you this day, 23:46 a blessing and a curse, 23:49 a blessing if you obey the commandments of your Lord. 23:53 Thank God and a curse if you will not obey the commandments 23:58 of the Lord, your God. 24:00 So we've got a saying is 24:03 I can't bless sin. 24:07 If you're not getting blessings, look at your life. 24:09 Don't look at gun. Say, where are you with the matter with 24:11 you and you're hearing my prayer. He's hearing it. 24:14 But what we need to do is look at ourselves and ask what am I 24:17 doing wrong? Okay. Because 24:24 everything we do or say 24:27 a blessing 24:28 or a curse, you can't just 24:31 go around doing what is right and good and then say, well, 24:36 I should have all blessings 24:39 because if you've got a secrets in somewhere in your life, 24:43 every time you touch it, 24:45 it's like stow. You tell the young person now don't touch 24:49 the still. While I go out to get the wood, 24:52 the curse is built into the sand. 24:57 You think about drinking smoking drugs, everything that 24:59 curse is built into it. 25:02 And so if you've got the secrets in given up 25:06 so God can bless you, we can't bless you and your sons and get 25:10 right with him. And 25:13 this is a from a guy that can ally 25:16 and he says 25:18 for this is the love of God. What do you mean? The love of 25:21 God? What is God's love? 25:24 I wonder what God loves us. Well, 25:29 and first, John, 5, 3, he says this is the love of God. 25:35 It's something he can yet for by himself and actually 25:40 something we own 25:42 that we can give to God that he wants but actually 25:47 can't created. 25:49 It has to be given by us to him. 25:53 This is the love of God that we keep his commandments and his 25:56 commandments are not grievous. 25:59 So gun doesn't force us to keep his commandments. We have to 26:04 give that love to him. 26:06 I trust you. I want to be loyal to you. 26:10 I wanna live according to your will. Satan said no. I want to 26:14 live according to my my will. 26:17 And that was the problem. 26:19 God is looking for people who want to 26:23 obey him believing him, trust him, do things his way, not our 26:27 own way 26:29 because 26:30 when he creates the new heaven and new earth, 26:35 the people that are going to be allowed into that new earth, 26:40 our trusted 26:42 it to be loyal 26:44 and faithful to never seen again. And that's why son won't 26:47 reoccur. And it's because we have been mourning in and 26:52 that's the love of God. Yeah. And he can't go get it. He has 26:57 the love has to be given where it's not love him. I mean, 27:01 I listen to this just wrapping up with this 27:05 John 14. 23 27:08 Jesus answered the said to him. If a man loves me, he will keep 27:12 my word and my father will love him 27:16 and we will come on to him and make our abode with him. 27:22 She says is going to a boat on planet Earth made new with us 27:27 it. 27:29 >> And the man, you're exactly right, Joe. Good word. 27:33 >> That's what's neat about prayer is that we get to know 27:36 in order to know somebody you get to have to have 27:39 conversation with them, get to know them into when we get to 27:42 know gone. We learn to love him because we love him because he 27:47 first loved us. You know, I had a professor this last semester 27:50 finishing up my master's from Andrews University. 27:53 Put a plug in for them while they're really create school 27:56 kid to school to go to their finished up by pastoral 27:59 ministry. Yeah. Anyway, this one professor, he said that he 28:04 was reading through John. He saw all the conversation 28:07 that Jesus had in there with, you know, I make a guy miss was 28:09 a conversation. He had the woman at the well was a 28:13 conversation. And so really 28:15 our relationship with God, it's all about conversations. 28:18 Wet. What prayer is all about this conversation that we're 28:21 having with him and we all were all mass. But when we conversed 28:25 with cheese reporter we hang out with, we've become like so 28:28 conversing with Jesus through his word. He's speaking to us 28:32 anyway. Just I just thought I'd throw that in there. But I've 28:35 got some more requests that you guys are ready to head, right. 28:37 So thank you for sending these in, by the way. He has a lot of medicine medical issues. 29:24 She has Parkinson's along with asthma, low oxygen and she 29:28 hallucinate doesn't want to lose her and have then he's 29:32 been her caregiver for over 30 years in all my time to pray 29:35 for her. And then Rosemary and Oregon, her color, her nephew 29:39 watch prayer for a full-time job. He only has a part-time 29:43 one now. And here's one says year 3 Avian family, please 29:46 pray for my son RK who migrated to Sweden with his wife that 29:51 had that God will bless him with an englishspeaking job and 29:55 also that he will learn fast. The Swedish language. Well, 29:58 we pray that the Lord will use him in his music ministry as 30:02 well. Thank you.
