00:02 Thank you for being a part of 3ABN Today, Bible Q and A. 00:04 What a blessing to have you part of our family 00:05 and joining in. 00:07 Hopefully you enjoyed it. 00:08 Opened your Bible, 00:09 took some notes with your pen and paper, 00:11 or maybe on your tablet, or phone. 00:12 But we have again, Pastor John Lomacang, 00:14 thank you for joining us. 00:15 Pastor Ryan Day, Jill, thank you so much. 00:17 It's been fun. It's gone by in a hurry. 00:19 A lot of questions were submitted. 00:22 Anything you want to talk about in closing 00:23 'cause maybe we expound upon a little bit more. 00:25 Sure, I mean, I've been behaving myself 00:27 'cause Doug Batchelor we'll be answering 00:29 both questions together, 00:30 but this thing about burning forever 00:32 we got that question. 00:33 Here is one of the things that there is only one passage 00:35 in the Bible I think that proves this entire thing 00:37 about forever. 00:39 Romans 6:23, "For the wages of sin is death, 00:42 but the gift of God 00:44 is eternal life in Christ Jesus, our Lord." 00:46 Ask yourself a very simple question. 00:48 Do the wicked receive eternal life? 00:50 The answer is no. 00:51 You can't burn eternally unless you can live eternally, 00:54 that simple. 00:55 Excellent. I love it. I like that. 00:57 I just want to expound back on this unpardonable sin, 01:00 Holy Spirit conversation. 01:01 John 16:13. 01:03 This is a powerful text. 01:04 John 16:13. 01:06 It says, "However, when he, the Spirit of truth has come, 01:09 he will guide you into all truth." 01:12 So it kind of goes back to what we were talking about. 01:13 We need to submit ourselves to the Holy Spirit's guidance. 01:16 If we're allowing the Holy Spirit to speak to us, 01:19 that he will guide us into all truth. 01:20 And that's kind of what this program 01:22 is all about, right? 01:23 It's to help get the truth out there 01:25 and the Holy Spirit may be leading you 01:26 to watch this program right now 01:28 because there's Bible questions that you have, 01:30 and you can get answers stills by the leading and the guiding 01:33 and the power of the Holy Spirit. 01:35 So I just wanted to read that and just remind us 01:36 that we need to be submissive 01:38 to the leading, guiding power of God's Spirit. 01:41 Amen. Thank you. 01:42 Anything you want to add or? 01:43 I wanted to jump in on one of the last questions 01:45 we were answering together here. 01:47 Why does God only answer certain prayers when you pray? 01:49 John 15, I like this passage, John 15, 01:52 that whole passage on fruit bearing. 01:54 But verse 16 says, "You did not choose me, 01:57 but I chose you and ordained you 01:59 or appointed you 02:01 that you should go and bear fruit 02:02 and that your fruit should remain 02:04 that whatever you ask the father, 02:06 in my name he may give it to you." 02:10 Now that we would think is a blanket statement, 02:12 but it's actually whatever you ask the Father 02:14 in relation to fruit bearing. 02:16 Again, it's in relation to our walk with God 02:19 and our spiritual journey and our character, 02:22 whatever you ask God in relation to that, 02:24 He will hear you. 02:26 Amen. That's right. 02:27 And quickly on the Sabbath question. 02:29 This one always gets me. 02:30 Why do people have an issue with the fourth commandment 02:33 when it's the only one that says remember? 02:34 And they always call, 02:36 I've heard this so often they call the Sabbath, 02:37 the Jewish Sabbath. 02:39 Well, the Bible never refers to it 02:40 as the Jewish Sabbath. 02:42 It refers to as the Sabbath of the Lord. 02:45 And so it's been stigmatized 02:48 to purse a certain sect of people. 02:51 So it makes it seem like it's theirs, but it's not. 02:53 It's the Sabbath of the Lord, thy God. 02:55 One of the 10. 02:57 And if you love Him, 02:58 you'll remember instead of forgetting. 03:00 Amen. 03:01 And I love about the Sabbath, Exodus 20, 03:02 the fourth commandment, 03:04 it talks about Sabbath in relation. 03:05 Ryan, you brought that out beautifully 03:07 in relation to creation. 03:08 And Deuteronomy 5, 03:09 the Sabbath in relation to redemption. 03:11 I love how both are connected 03:12 with the Sabbath. 03:14 Amen. Amen. Yeah. 03:15 You know, and, Pastor Ryan, 03:16 the question that came to you too, 03:18 was about the Witch of Endor 03:19 and you're thinking about the movies 03:21 and stuff with even kids programs, 03:22 how much spiritualism is out there 03:23 and how Satan is out there causing a lot of confusion. 03:26 Right? 03:28 So it's a great question on that, 03:29 but what happens when you die? 03:31 We just, again, want to say thank you for joining us. 03:33 Again, thank you, Pastor John, Pastor, Ryan and Jill, 03:35 for joining us. 03:37 And we want to say thank you for joining us 03:38 on the very first 3ABN today Bible Q and A. 03:41 We'll see you next time same place. 03:44 We'll see you, God bless. |
