00:01 Have you ever wondered how to prepare healthy,
00:03 tasty meals, raw and cook that actually tastes good?
00:07 Well, stay tuned while Evita Tezeno
00:09 and yours truly Nyse Collins show you how to do so
00:12 and give you A Taste of Paradise.
00:31 It's Evita Tezeno,
00:32 welcome to A Taste of Paradise.
00:35 Yes, and happy holidays.
00:37 We are doing some more holiday recipes for you,
00:41 and this one is a quick and easy one,
00:44 no equipment necessary.
00:47 Yes, I'm a sweetaholic.
00:51 Yes, I love my sweet things.
00:53 And I'm going to show you a quick and easy
00:58 holiday recipe that will please anybody.
01:02 Yes, we're doing a holiday fudge,
01:05 that's what we're going to do today.
01:06 And let's read those ingredients right now.
01:38 Now, I said it's quick.
01:41 Now time me
01:42 because I can do this in five minutes flat.
01:45 We have our almond butter,
01:50 and most commercial almond butter
01:52 is roasted almonds.
01:55 Raw almond butter tends to be a real expensive.
01:58 So you can cheat on this one.
02:00 You can get the roasted almond butter
02:04 and it's okay.
02:06 Don't stretch yourself out a bit.
02:09 So we're going to put
02:10 all the liquid ingredients first
02:12 because when we put the carob powder
02:14 that's what kind solidifies it.
02:18 So we're going to start off with the honey.
02:20 Now if you wanted a little more sweeter,
02:22 you can put more honey in it,
02:24 but so carob powder is already sweet
02:27 and then all the dried fruits that's in there.
02:30 It is yummy.
02:33 Coconut oil...
02:37 And we're going to stir this up real quick.
02:42 And then let's start with our dried fruit.
02:45 We have our dried cranberries,
02:48 and see if you could get cranberries
02:50 that are not sugary.
02:54 These have been dried with apple juice,
02:58 so it doesn't have refine sugar in them.
03:02 We have our dried apricots and I like to get the apricots
03:05 that are not sulfured
03:08 so to keep down on the chemicals
03:10 'cause you remember we want to live life fresh.
03:16 We have our golden raisins.
03:20 And if you want to, you can soak them
03:22 and plump them up a little bit, if you don't want
03:25 the real dried consistency in there.
03:31 And our chopped pecans.
03:35 We want to keep it moving.
03:37 You're timing me?
03:40 It's quick and easy.
03:48 And last but not least, here is our carob powder.
03:57 Now carob is high in calcium
04:01 and most chocolate lovers do not like carob,
04:06 but it is a good replacement for chocolate.
04:09 I love it.
04:15 So you want to make sure that you incorporate
04:17 all the ingredients.
04:41 And one thing good about this,
04:42 this is not having a caffeine in it
04:45 which chocolate does,
04:47 it doesn't have the stimulant theobromine in it
04:50 which chocolate does.
04:52 This is really a nice and healthy treat.
04:56 So now we have our 8/10 pyrex dish.
05:07 We spread it out.
05:14 And we stick it in the fridge
05:18 or we could stick it in the freezer.
05:19 I would rather say let's stick it in the freezer
05:21 so it could harden up really, really quickly.
05:28 And because I prepared ahead of time,
05:31 I have a finished product for you.
05:40 Look at this, okay.
05:43 We're going to take it to the face.
05:49 Do you want some?
05:50 I know you're jealous but you don't have to be,
05:53 you could just make it at home.
05:56 And while doing so, remember to live life fresh.
06:07 Happy holidays, welcome back
06:09 to A Taste of Paradise special edition.
06:11 This one is going to be super special
06:13 'cause we have our manager, our general manager here
06:16 Dare to Dream on a holiday network.
06:18 Happy holidays. Happy holidays.
06:20 You can't say that be sitting down.
06:22 Oh, well, I got to stand up.
06:23 Amen, happy holidays.
06:24 Happy holidays, Yvonne. Happy holidays. Thank you.
06:26 You know, this is good times, you know,
06:28 people always happy during the holidays
06:30 and stuff like that
06:31 or I consider every day to be a holiday.
06:32 Okay.
06:34 Everyday I'm alive, it's a holiday.
06:35 So where is my gift then?
06:37 Well, what happen was...
06:39 You see I got a gift for you,
06:41 but today's gift is going to be pretty cool
06:43 and we're going to take a look at it.
06:44 But in general talking about the holidays and stuff,
06:46 that's true, we should give everybody a gift everyday.
06:49 Now you know what?
06:51 I like that,
06:52 like a random active kindness every day.
06:53 A random active kindness, do these things
06:56 and matter fact the study show that
06:57 by doing good to others,
06:59 you even help yourself even more,
07:00 like my mom she doesn't have to wait
07:02 for Christmas, birthdays and stuff like that,
07:04 literally in our family we stop that stuff.
07:06 Okay.
07:08 Now I'm not saying that everybody has to
07:09 because why should somebody have to wait till once a year
07:13 to get something that they need.
07:14 Okay.
07:16 You know, what I mean, so if they need something now,
07:17 hey, you spoke to mom, yeah, she need that.
07:20 All right, I'm gonna be in New York,
07:21 let's bring it to her and stuff like that.
07:23 So she can celebrate and enjoy life now
07:26 instead of waiting all the way over there,
07:28 like who knows when they're going to make it that far,
07:30 so we try to celebrate every day.
07:33 I celebrate my birthday every day.
07:34 Okay.
07:36 Literally I mean, every day is a new day, I mean,
07:38 you can't go back to yesterday so every day is the new day
07:41 so I'd always try to do something special.
07:43 I don't know whether I'm traveling
07:44 or buy extra strawberry, amen.
07:46 Not the moment with the chocolate on time.
07:48 But you know, I try to do something
07:50 so everyday it's cool and I have,
07:52 you know, good look on stuff,
07:54 and I think that's I don't know it works for me.
07:56 Well, I think it's great to really think about others,
07:59 that's what the Lord would have us do.
08:01 Yeah.
08:02 Think about others all the time
08:03 and honor prefer you one and another.
08:05 So we do nice things for people and it actually helps us
08:08 to get better, actually helps us heal.
08:11 So if you're sick... And it is crucial.
08:13 And you start doing nice things for other people,
08:16 it actually can be healing to you.
08:18 You hit that on a head.
08:19 Actually in one of our resources that we developed
08:22 called Give Them Something Better.
08:23 Can we show them and let them know.
08:25 Yeah, go ahead.
08:26 You want to give people something better.
08:28 Lot of times we take from people, don't eat it,
08:30 don't, don't do, don't, don't, but let's find something
08:33 that we can give them and give them something better.
08:35 It's one of the books that we developed
08:36 with many of the recipes that we do here
08:38 and it's based on a National Geographic Health study,
08:40 and National Geographic itself studied the healthiest group
08:43 on the face of the earth the Seventh-day Adventist,
08:45 Loma Linda, California,
08:46 and those who watch A Taste of Paradise.
08:48 You know what they found, they found you
08:50 improve the quality of your life by two years
08:52 if you're vegetarian and other two years
08:54 if you eat a handful of nuts,
08:55 you improve the quality with exercise.
08:57 But watch this.
08:59 If you just volunteer and help somebody once a week,
09:04 this is the healthiest people on face of the earth
09:05 what they do, they help people, they volunteer once a week.
09:08 They show and improve the quality
09:09 and benefits your body,
09:11 improves the quality by seven years.
09:14 Like National Geographic has shown us that look man,
09:17 you have to do good, you can be vegan vegetarian.
09:20 You could all of the recipes
09:21 that we do on Taste of Paradise.
09:22 But if you're angry and you're selfish
09:24 and you know, those items...
09:25 That's right.
09:27 You ain't no healthier than anybody else.
09:29 You can watch our and to be all organic and still be sick
09:32 but you have to do for others.
09:33 That's right.
09:35 And help others and that's the crucial part.
09:37 So that's why with the holiday thing,
09:39 we always want to help and you know,
09:41 as during that Christmas time, Thanksgiving,
09:43 people want to help, so imagine if we celebrate it every day.
09:47 So if you see this program, playiing in just random June
09:51 every day is a holiday, all right, so don't get it to,
09:53 don't be like man, they ran out of show
09:55 or something like that.
09:56 No, because we want to celebrate every day
09:58 and one of the things that
09:59 we've been encouraging people to do
10:01 is one what is called
10:03 the Taste of Paradise Cooking Club.
10:06 I love this idea.
10:08 What do you think about that? I love the idea.
10:09 I think it's great.
10:11 A Taste of Paradise Cooking Club
10:12 where you just watch this
10:14 if you're not a expert chef and all that stuff.
10:15 You see Evita be doing some things,
10:17 I cannot dream of doing these things
10:18 you know what I mean.
10:19 Well, she does and I'm like cool,
10:21 but if you can just go ahead and show some of these videos,
10:24 we develop a little package as you see here.
10:26 It just has the first five seasons on it, you know.
10:29 Make sure you call us or something.
10:30 And just play the video
10:31 or if you can have people come over to your house,
10:33 and it's playing in your area at your time.
10:35 Let them watch the program and all you have to do
10:38 is have the food ready behind the scenes.
10:41 So for the 25 minutes we had talk
10:42 and I cooking the stuff, you just let them watch it.
10:45 As soon as the program is over you bring out the food.
10:48 And you will be helping your family, your friends,
10:51 your neighbor, I mean most of the recipes
10:52 we're doing are pretty good.
10:54 Oh, they're delicious.
10:55 Very tasty. And I think it's important...
10:56 So I'm having little vegan comfort food but it's all good.
10:58 It's delicious.
10:59 It's important for people to see that it,
11:02 they have to see it in person and they have to taste it.
11:04 Yes.
11:06 And when they taste it and they see how good it is
11:07 and they're going to want to eat healthier
11:09 and you can help.
11:10 There're so many people in our communities
11:12 who have hypertension or hypercholesterolemia,
11:15 or all these things that they're sick,
11:18 diabetes and cancer...
11:19 Things are happening left and right.
11:20 And so we can have people over and do something and then
11:23 you don't have to be like a super chef
11:24 to be able to do this.
11:26 Oh, no.
11:27 This is, it's easy and it tastes good.
11:29 There it is and that's the key, so we want you all
11:31 to start that Taste of Paradise Cooking Club
11:33 and the coolest thing about starting
11:35 A Taste of Paradise Cooking Club is that
11:37 as people watch that one program
11:38 with Taste of Paradise then you make sure
11:41 you call Dare to Dream and get some of those
11:43 flyers and stuff like that,
11:44 and give them all a flyer of the Dare to Dream
11:47 and then they could start watching other shows.
11:49 That's right.
11:50 Because the health message is supposed to be
11:52 the entering wedge... That's right.
11:53 And it makes room for all the fullness
11:56 of the three angels' messages and the fullness of the truth,
11:58 so make sure you get started,
12:00 and you can improve the quality of your life by seven years
12:03 even better than all the healthy cooking
12:04 that we're doing here.
12:06 So we're talking about doing good to others,
12:07 why don't we, you know,
12:08 holidays everybody is making gifts
12:10 and give it somebody, video games,
12:11 or this, or this shirt or whatever like that.
12:13 Why don't we make like a gift that they can actually eat?
12:18 Now, you know that I'm not like the person
12:22 to make stuff, I'm not great at that.
12:24 I'm not so but you know what,
12:26 I represent all the ladies
12:28 that might not be that great at doing it,
12:30 but if you tell me what to do, I think I can do it.
12:32 You see my face right now.
12:34 Look at Sister Yvonne, look at Dr. Yvonne here.
12:38 Does she look like she have a problem making things up
12:41 and some, look at her, amen, she is beautiful.
12:43 So I'm sure by God's grace she can make a nice gift,
12:47 but yes, for those ladies who can't get
12:49 the twist in the ties, in the cuts and all that,
12:51 we're gonna try to do something
12:52 really simple and easy because
12:54 I'm not pre se a gift person as well.
12:55 Okay. I like to help people my...
12:58 I guess they talk about languages of love.
12:59 I just like to help and you know, what I mean.
13:01 If I could do for others then that's cool one.
13:03 Sometimes I go on trip, they're like what, you know,
13:05 what did you bring me back?
13:07 Oops, sorry, but did you notice
13:09 I grabbed all the garbage, I clean up the house
13:11 or whatever like that, you know,
13:12 so I mean but it's good to give gifts.
13:15 Some people like gifts,
13:16 so let's learn how to make some of these.
13:17 Yes, let's step into the kitchen here.
13:19 Okay.
13:20 And we're going to make some edible gifts.
13:22 Okay, cool. As we see here.
13:23 Thank you.
13:24 Look at her she told me like she can't make stuff like that.
13:26 Yeah, they're going to know in a minute.
13:27 All right, so let's step over here.
13:28 We're going to make a couple simple edible gifts.
13:30 I know you all are like what, Taste of Paradise doing gifts.
13:32 We're going to show you how to make a couple of things.
13:35 You like the granola, right, so here is the coolest thing.
13:38 If you want somebody to think about you every morning,
13:41 then you make the granola edible gift.
13:44 And it's really simple.
13:45 Basically what you're going to do
13:47 is you're going to put together the ingredients
13:49 for that recipe.
13:50 What we're going to put together?
13:52 The ingredients for the recipe.
13:53 Just simple, you see she got it,
13:55 the ingredients for the recipe, and of course it's going to be
13:58 and we're going to put it in this bottle layered
13:59 and stuff like that, and then all you're going to do
14:01 is write on a little card what they need to add to it.
14:04 So now that person when they get this gift from you,
14:07 they're going to go home, they're going to cook
14:08 and they're going to follow your instructions.
14:11 Ladies like to have people follow it,
14:13 you know what I'm going to say.
14:14 Oh, watch it, watch it now.
14:15 So you want to gift or the guys that if you want to give her
14:17 a nice little gift and have her listen to you,
14:20 then you write the instructions on a little card,
14:22 so here is what we're going to do.
14:24 Okay.
14:25 We're going to start with the granola one
14:27 so every morning they take a bite
14:28 they're thinking of you.
14:30 Is that all right? That's nice.
14:31 So here is the simple recipe or the ingredients
14:33 that you would need for your edible gift jar,
14:36 and for the granola crunches we see right here.
14:39 All you need is:
14:55 Literally and then all you have to do on your,
14:57 write on your gift card that you just,
14:59 on a gift card you put:
15:06 That's it, that's easy,
15:08 you can put this together, Dr. Yvonne.
15:10 You know, what's great about it?
15:11 What's that?
15:13 It's because you're making it up here
15:14 and then there is just a little,
15:16 a couple of added additions that they have to do
15:18 and then that's it.
15:20 You remember that old school pancakes where it's just like,
15:23 just add water.
15:24 Yeah. Oh, yeah.
15:26 You always go to store, you look for the one
15:27 that just add water, I won't be adding eggs,
15:30 all that hours, it's too much work.
15:32 And that's basically what we're trying to do here.
15:34 Well, you just add the water or may be a little bit of oil
15:37 or something like that to get that nice texture going so.
15:40 This is what you do and it's really simple,
15:42 you just put on your little funnel,
15:44 or if you don't have a funnel, we try to make something up,
15:46 just get it in there.
15:47 And then we're going to start with the rolled oats.
15:50 And there you go, you're going to put that in.
15:51 Okay.
15:53 So just like that.
15:54 And that's it.
15:56 Okay, see I told him I'll make a mess, but okay.
15:58 I don't know how she still made a mess
16:00 but you see what happen,
16:02 and she said it will happen so it will happen, you know.
16:05 So here we go, so we have them and then you did it correctly.
16:08 You just shake it out so it gets in nice...
16:11 So it settles, right?
16:12 Yeah, settled in there. Okay.
16:13 And then what we're going to do?
16:15 We're going to mix up the colors a little bit,
16:16 so why don't we go 'cause if we put
16:17 each oat by each other, it's not going to look,
16:19 it's not going to stand out.
16:21 So let's go with the coconut may be.
16:22 Okay.
16:24 So we're going to pour a coconut in there.
16:25 Right here, you don't even need a spoon.
16:27 Just pour it? Just try it.
16:28 Show us them a little bit... Oh, boy.
16:30 Have faith, have faith. Okay.
16:32 There you go. Okay.
16:33 And then you just.
16:35 Well, I kind of need the... Yeah, okay.
16:36 Well, I wash my hands. All right, good.
16:38 So you just shake that in there,
16:40 and then you course it to settle again.
16:42 So you want to settle it out.
16:43 So settle it out.
16:46 Okay. Like so simple.
16:48 All right, then we're going to go over another color,
16:50 we're going to add the quick oats.
16:52 Now if you notice the difference between
16:53 the regular oats and quick oats one is just larger than other,
16:56 so we're going to add the quick oats in,
16:58 and the quick oats give it that nice little cluster there,
17:01 so we're going to settle it one more time.
17:04 As you see there,
17:05 then we're going to go over with another one.
17:06 We're going to go with the... What do you want to do?
17:08 You want to do the sliced almonds?
17:10 Yeah, sure. So let's do the sliced almonds.
17:12 That's another choice, it's good for cholesterol,
17:14 so somebody have little cholesterol
17:16 will put some almonds in there.
17:17 And then we're going to add a last one
17:20 which is the cane juice crystals.
17:22 There it is all right, so we get that.
17:24 Now I'll have a spoon.
17:25 So we're going to get the cane juice crystals
17:27 in there and...
17:29 Oh, oh,
17:31 Yvonne put a little extra that means she...
17:33 Whoever she's making this for she love them,
17:35 she put a lot of sweetness in there, all right.
17:37 So there you go and that's it, and if you all can see...
17:40 You know what? We left out the salt.
17:42 And the salt, so you just put the salt on top.
17:44 Okay. Yeah.
17:45 And basically that would be the just of it.
17:49 Then you put your top on.
17:51 Okay.
17:52 All right.
17:54 Here we go. Okay, it has to be like that.
17:55 Yeah, 'cause this is mason jar so that it got the lids,
17:58 it has lids and the seals.
17:59 Okay. And this keeps it fresh for a long time.
18:01 This keeps it fresh one person
18:05 packed up some of granola and we had it there for year,
18:07 and I thought it was going to be all stale and stuff,
18:09 and surprisingly it still had its crunch, all right.
18:12 But if you can eat it earlier, please eat it earlier,
18:14 you know what I mean.
18:15 If I can do this,
18:17 you guys can do this, I'm telling you.
18:18 You heard it. You heard it, she said.
18:20 I'm the worse, okay. Okay.
18:21 Here it is, so you have your different layers right there,
18:24 if you can take a little close up there
18:26 and then what are we going to do.
18:27 We're going to put a little decorated tissue papers
18:30 that is that what it's called.
18:32 Yeah. And ooh, I'm so sorry.
18:34 What?
18:35 Before you do that,
18:37 we get a nice little gift cards here right,
18:39 you know little note cards and stuff.
18:41 And so, Yvonne,
18:43 you could just write a little note on there,
18:44 you know to, I won't look
18:46 who you're writing it to, all right.
18:48 I love you, you are the best.
18:50 God is good, amen.
18:52 Whatever you want to put on that card,
18:54 put it in there.
18:55 You could even send them a little scripture as well.
18:58 Cool, okay.
19:00 I did it. You can look.
19:01 It's okay. I saw who it was.
19:03 Watch out, now somebody is getting something special.
19:05 And you also basically write what you need to add to it,
19:09 yes, so you need to add some water,
19:13 and also a little of oil and then that should be good.
19:16 There you go.
19:17 So then we'll put the, the tissue paper.
19:20 Now I have to tell you when it comes to wrapping...
19:22 Oh, positive, positive, positive.
19:23 No, I'm just saying. I'm here to help you.
19:25 Okay, all right, you gonna walk me through it.
19:27 All right, so you put that on there.
19:29 Put that on.
19:30 I'll hold it for you.
19:32 Okay, thank you. And then...
19:33 Okay, so this should be hanging kind of off like that, right?
19:35 Very good. And then we're going to put it tight.
19:37 Just little bit tighter, I'll hold this down
19:39 and you do what you got to do there.
19:40 Okay.
19:41 So squeeze it in basically and then you just put tie...
19:45 A bow?
19:46 A little bow, watch this now... Watch it now.
19:48 We're going to put a knot, she put a bow.
19:49 I'm getting fancy. I'm getting fancy.
19:51 Voila, you have your gift there,
19:53 so that's really simple, easy
19:56 and what it does, it lets people know,
19:57 you put a little time and effort into this thing.
19:59 Yeah, it's a little love in there.
20:01 Hello, love.
20:02 Some people who you think may not be able
20:05 to just follow by, add water or add oil and can't do it,
20:08 of course you put how much time they should bake in,
20:10 and how to mix it and all that stuff.
20:12 You can go ahead and prepare some of the granola crunch.
20:16 Take a quick look at this. This has been already prepared.
20:19 What some people like to do, they like to make a big batch,
20:22 get about ten jars, and basically
20:25 you just fill them all in
20:27 and you write a card to each person.
20:29 Okay.
20:30 Watch this, the best ministry.
20:31 You do this for your neighbors, hello.
20:34 Oh, I like that.
20:36 Hello, we're in this society, nobody knows anybody anymore,
20:39 we're all in the same building, house, condo, whatever.
20:42 That is so true. What's their name?
20:44 I don't know.
20:45 We did do evangelism,
20:47 you don't even know your neighbor's name.
20:48 That's very true.
20:49 So make about ten of these and give one
20:51 to each of your neighbors, all right.
20:53 And you could put sealed with love from the Lord
20:56 or something like that and then that's it.
20:58 So what we're going to do, we're going to try
20:59 another one here,
21:00 and this one will be carob, carob cupcakes.
21:04 Everybody loves some carob cupcakes.
21:06 Yeah. Yeah.
21:07 And so if you will take a quick look.
21:09 This is a carob cupcake, and a lot of people enjoy that
21:12 instead of the chocolate cupcakes
21:14 and stuff like that.
21:15 So for those who love it, then you make this one
21:17 and just say, hey, this is my special cupcakes
21:21 since I know you like it, don't tell them
21:22 it's carob or something.
21:23 And then you do the same thing, you ready?
21:25 I'm ready. I'm ready.
21:26 We're going to try one more time here.
21:28 Okay.
21:29 So I'm gonna put this gift aside.
21:30 Don't forget, this one is for you.
21:32 Okay.
21:33 And here we're going to do it.
21:35 Here's the ingredients for the carob cupcakes with love.
21:39 And all you need is:
22:09 You got this thing down. You know what?
22:11 I'm feeling like, you know, like I can do this.
22:13 Hey. It's your birthday. Hey, okay, all right.
22:16 It's your birthday, watch it.
22:18 There we're gonna put that in there
22:19 and we're going to add those ingredients again.
22:21 Okay. And we're going to layer it.
22:22 So we're going to put the flour in first
22:23 'cause that's the biggest one, yeah.
22:25 You see.
22:26 You got it. Think positive.
22:27 You can't be boasting, you can't be acting all proud
22:29 'cause you'll get humbled real fast.
22:32 All right, but that's why we're going to eat
22:34 some humble carob.
22:36 Humble carob.
22:37 Cupcakes. Oh, I'm making a mess.
22:38 Where? I see no mess.
22:40 Oh that's right we're in a kitchen, that's why...
22:42 Okay, we're in a kitchen. We make in a kitchen.
22:43 Okay, cool.
22:44 We don't do this stuff in a living room and stuff.
22:46 That's right. All right.
22:47 Next ingredient so we're going to,
22:48 what we're going to do there?
22:50 Now we're going to shake it.
22:51 You're gonna shake it up a little bit.
22:53 Just settle it. And then.
22:54 Let's add a little color to it.
22:55 Let's add the strong color,
22:57 so you have the carob powder there.
22:58 All right, so if you notice it'll stick there
23:00 little bit for you.
23:01 And if you lift that up as we got to break up
23:03 just the chunks a little bit.
23:05 Okay.
23:07 All right, here it is so I'll just put that there,
23:10 and they get the point.
23:12 Yeah.
23:13 And then what are we're going to do,
23:14 we're going to add... Add some sugar.
23:16 Add the sugar. Some cane juice crystals.
23:17 Some cane juice crystals, preferably you want to put
23:19 about half a cup if they really have a sweet tooth,
23:21 you add a little bit more.
23:22 And then we're going to add that in there.
23:27 Notice how we get Nyse to do this
23:29 by the way, okay, good.
23:31 And then the last two ingredients
23:32 is the pastry flour.
23:34 Oh, you passed the bag to me.
23:36 Oh, yeah I'm passing the bags, 'cause if she open up
23:37 her mouth, we'd pass the bag.
23:40 And you put in the rest there. Okay.
23:42 You want to put another extra carobs
23:43 so it can have a good clear layer but hey,
23:46 it is what it is and then we add our featherweight.
23:48 Okay. And then you should be done.
23:51 Done.
23:52 All right. And that's great.
23:54 There it is and then they already have
23:56 their instructions on what they should add.
23:59 And then we here is you sign again.
24:02 Sign again, okay. Sign again.
24:04 Well, look I'm giving her a hand all your gifts
24:06 going to be done by the time.
24:07 I love it.
24:09 The holidays come and you know, watch this,
24:10 not to be anything but it's very cost effective.
24:12 Look at that man, there's snow and there's rain,
24:14 there's thunder in and all of that.
24:16 Yeah. So it's cost effective.
24:18 And what else,
24:20 it's simple and it's a healthier option.
24:22 Absolutely. Yeah.
24:24 So you're giving gift of health and for something
24:26 homemade is really special, isn't it?
24:28 You can't beat that.
24:30 You know, you want to give somebody something that
24:31 that makes them feel special.
24:33 Yes, this is true.
24:34 Now this also has the featherweight in it,
24:36 so this one you have to make you tell them put make asap.
24:39 You know what I mean? Oh, okay.
24:41 So here we go, we're going to close that up
24:42 and then it has so much air in there that.
24:44 And then we're going to do one more time.
24:46 Okay.
24:47 Oh, I did it wrong.
24:49 There you go.
24:51 So I'll hold it and you'll sign off on it one more time
24:54 and we have one more items
24:55 so we're going to knock this one up.
24:56 Okay. Okay.
24:58 Here it is, so we got that going.
25:00 You tie it tight. Tie it tight.
25:03 So it doesn't fall off.
25:05 And then somebody think that...
25:07 And I think that
25:10 if you do like the nice thing
25:12 and you run it down the end of this,
25:16 you can get nice little spirals,
25:18 that's what I was told.
25:19 Oh, look to that,
25:21 she's taken this thing to the next level,
25:22 so you could take the knife here.
25:23 Right.
25:25 And just I think, okay.
25:27 I think you run it down like that.
25:29 Watch, got little curve on that thing.
25:30 Get a little spiral in, there you go.
25:32 All right it's getting there, we're getting it.
25:34 Hey, okay. Here we go.
25:35 And then hold it tight.
25:37 Well, she's straightening in here over here.
25:39 Yeah, okay.
25:41 I think I have to do on the other side.
25:43 There you go.
25:44 Oh, we got a double spiral over there.
25:46 There it is, so that's it, done deal.
25:49 And you have that this.
25:51 So now you're knocking out your gifts.
25:52 Get the kids to do this as well,
25:54 'cause we don't need to be spending over
25:55 500, 600 dollars on video games and all of that.
25:58 So the last one, here it is, this is the one that
26:00 they always smell and think of you
26:03 and check it out the simple essence
26:05 that you can make as a gift for people.
26:07 And a recipe is for the lemon rosemary room scent.
26:10 All you need is:
26:20 You could put a little bit more with love.
26:21 And this is how it's going to look.
26:23 We basically take this,
26:24 so let's grab one of those lemons.
26:26 Okay.
26:28 Okay, and then we should have
26:30 our nice little knife right here.
26:33 Here it is, so I'm just going to cut this end,
26:36 and I'm going to cut this end.
26:37 And basically you're ready for this.
26:40 I'll grab this nice little cutting board.
26:43 Sorry.
26:44 We're going to take this and we're going to just cut.
26:47 It ain't matter.
26:49 Just don't add a finger.
26:50 Finger is not part of the recipe here.
26:52 I don't think that will make a good gift.
26:54 Yeah, well, some people will want your finger,
26:56 watch it now.
26:58 All right, and then we'll take what, the rosemary.
27:00 I'm going to put that in here, put that in there.
27:03 Okay.
27:04 And you're ready for this y'all, this is real simple.
27:06 We're going to take some warm water or hot water.
27:09 This is going to give it that, this is going to get
27:10 the juices and stuff out of it.
27:14 So it's going to pull that aroma.
27:15 Yes, it's gonna pull that aroma.
27:17 And then last but not least,
27:19 you have to add your extract there so.
27:22 I love it.
27:23 Oh, it smells so good.
27:25 You put a little extra in there.
27:27 Okay.
27:28 And then you close it up
27:31 that humidity items going to seal it there for you.
27:34 Shake it up a little bit.
27:35 And then, voila, you basically have that,
27:38 so when they go home and they open it up
27:40 and they leave it in a room,
27:41 everybody will definitely enjoy the carob cupcakes,
27:45 the granola, all of these edible gifts.
27:47 I love it.
27:49 We cannot do without Yvonne, happy holidays.
27:50 Happy holidays. God bless you.
27:52 God bless. See you.
