00:28 Hello, and welcome to 3ABN Worship Hour.
00:30 My name is John Dinzey.
00:31 It is a joy and privilege to be with you
00:34 during this hour of worship, and this hour of Bible study.
00:39 Yes, we're going to study God's Word.
00:41 We will be looking at many verses.
00:44 This is why I encourage you to record it if you can,
00:47 or copy with notes
00:51 so that you can continue studying this topic.
00:53 This is a very important topic to study
00:56 because it concerns
00:57 every single human being in the world since Adam.
01:02 And so I encourage you to follow along and pray,
01:07 so that God will help us
01:08 all understand this topic better.
01:12 We will only skim the surface
01:14 because this is a topic that deserves
01:17 and is worthy of much, much study and prayer.
01:21 Before we begin,
01:22 speaking of prayer, let's go to the Lord in prayer
01:24 and ask for His blessing
01:26 because we want to have the Holy Spirit teach us.
01:29 So I'm going to kneel, I ask you to join me in prayer.
01:32 Pray for you and for me
01:34 and everyone that will be joining us.
01:37 Our loving heavenly Father, we come to You in Jesus' name.
01:42 We pray, Lord, that as we study together,
01:44 our hearts will burn within us as we spend time with Jesus.
01:49 We pray that He will be our teacher.
01:51 We pray for Your Holy Spirit to be poured out.
01:54 I place myself in your hands
01:56 so that every word spoken
01:58 will come from Your throne of grace.
02:01 And, Lord, You know
02:02 how to reach each and every person.
02:04 So we pray that You will speak to them
02:07 in the language that he or she will understand.
02:10 All glory and honor be unto Your name.
02:12 And we thank You for the opportunity
02:14 to study Your Word.
02:16 And we ask You for these blessings
02:17 in the holy name of Jesus.
02:20 Amen. Amen.
02:23 The Bible talks to us
02:24 about how sin entered into the world,
02:27 and the Book of Genesis details
02:30 that Satan in the form of a serpent,
02:33 now it doesn't identify Satan in the Book of Genesis,
02:36 but it is the serpent
02:38 that the Bible talks about in Revelation Chapter 12,
02:41 that says that old serpent called the devil there came
02:44 to the Garden of Eden to tempt first Eve
02:48 and continued by using Eve to tempt Adam.
02:52 And the Bible records the following
02:54 in the Book of Romans 5:12.
02:57 Romans 5:12,
03:00 the Bible says, "Therefore, just as through one man,
03:06 that is Adam,
03:07 sin entered the world and death through him,
03:11 through sin and thus death spread to all men
03:15 because all sinned."
03:17 So we see that because of sin entering into this world,
03:22 death entered as well.
03:24 And because of this, there was a need for a Savior.
03:29 And I am glad, and I praise the Lord
03:31 that as soon as there was a sinner,
03:34 there was already a Savior,
03:36 and that Savior is Jesus Christ.
03:38 And if you go to the Book of Revelation Chapter 13,
03:41 you will notice
03:42 that He is the Lamb that was slain
03:44 from the foundation of the world.
03:47 In other words, God saw ahead of time
03:50 and knew that the emergency would come,
03:52 formulated a plan of salvation
03:55 and He had a plan already in place.
03:58 Let's go to the Book of Genesis,
04:00 and we're going to go to Chapter 3
04:02 and see the promise when it was first revealed.
04:06 In Genesis 3:15,
04:08 the Bible says, "And I will put enmity
04:12 between you and the woman."
04:14 This is God talking to the serpent,
04:16 in the hearing of Adam and Eve,
04:17 "Between you and the woman
04:19 and between your seed and her Seed.
04:22 He shall bruise your head,"
04:24 that is Jesus will bruise the head of the serpent,
04:26 "and you shall bruise his heel."
04:29 Here we have the promise
04:30 that the Seed of the woman
04:33 would bruise the serpent's head.
04:35 And we have that blessed hope of salvation
04:38 through Jesus Christ.
04:40 And it was hoped by Eve
04:42 and by just about every woman after her,
04:46 that her child would be the Messiah,
04:48 the Savior of the world.
04:50 This is why when Cain was born,
04:53 Eve said, "I have gotten a man from the Lord,"
04:57 with hope that Cain, her first born son
05:00 would be the Messiah.
05:02 Unfortunately, we know that they, he was not.
05:06 Now, you may see
05:09 that Cain and Abel
05:14 were taught by Adam and Eve to offer sacrifice to God.
05:18 Now, I want to point out something to you
05:21 because as soon as there was a sinner,
05:23 there was a Savior.
05:24 And from the very beginning,
05:26 God wanted to teach Adam and Eve
05:29 that death is the result of sin.
05:32 So in Genesis Chapter 3, we are now going to verse 21.
05:36 Notice what the Bible says, "Also for Adam and his wife,
05:41 the Lord God made tunics of skin
05:44 and clothed them."
05:46 So if God made tunics of skin,
05:49 this must mean that animals died.
05:52 And so the sacrifice was made
05:56 and the skin was used to clothed Adam and Eve,
06:00 and this was the first sacrifice,
06:03 that sacrifice.
06:04 Now remember,
06:05 all the animals that typified
06:08 Jesus Christ had to be without spot or blemish.
06:11 And in the Garden of Eden in the earth
06:15 made that newly created
06:17 all the animals were without spot or blemish.
06:21 So this animal was sacrificed. The blood was shed.
06:25 And by the means of the blood of that animal,
06:28 the symbol meant that
06:32 the death of the Savior would be typified,
06:36 was typified by the sacrifice.
06:38 So Adam and Eve understood that Jesus Christ,
06:41 the Son of God would come
06:43 to rescue them and to pay for their sins.
06:47 And so Cain and Abel, as you notice in the Bible,
06:51 were taught how to bring sacrifices to the Lord.
06:56 And, you can see, you can follow the Bible
06:59 and see that Abraham offered sacrifices
07:01 and Jacob offered sacrifices and on and on.
07:06 Now we go to the Book of Exodus 25:8,
07:09 when God instructs the people of Israel
07:12 to build a sanctuary.
07:14 Let us go to Exodus 25:8.
07:17 And God said to Moses,
07:19 "And let them make Me a sanctuary,
07:21 that I may dwell among them."
07:24 The sanctuary was the place
07:27 that God said His presence would be in,
07:30 in the Most Holy Place.
07:32 And we're going to talk about this
07:34 and all this has to do with the final cleansing.
07:38 So pay close attention,
07:39 because this is very important for you
07:42 because you have also sinned
07:44 and you need the final cleansing
07:46 that only Jesus Christ offers.
07:49 This is now why we move to Hebrews 9:1-5.
07:53 Hebrews 9:1-5.
07:56 This is what the Bible says.
07:58 "Then indeed,
08:00 even the first covenant
08:01 had ordinances of divine service
08:05 and the earthly sanctuary.
08:07 For a tabernacle was prepared:
08:09 the first part which was the lampstand,
08:12 the table, and the showbread, which is called the sanctuary,
08:17 and behind the second veil, the part of the tabernacle
08:21 which is called the Holiest of All,
08:24 which had the golden censer and the ark of the covenant
08:27 overlaid on all sides with gold,
08:30 in which were the golden pot that had the manna,
08:33 Aaron's rod that budded,
08:35 and the tablets of the covenant,
08:38 which are the Ten Commandments,
08:39 and above it were the cherubim of glory
08:42 overshadowing the mercy seat.
08:44 Of these things we cannot now speak in detail."
08:49 So let's take a look at a graphic that illustrates
08:53 the layout of the earthly tabernacle,
08:57 the sanctuary.
08:58 And in this graphic,
09:00 you will notice that there is an,
09:03 a large tent surrounding
09:06 and inside you see that there on the right
09:10 is the altar of sacrifice from which you see
09:13 in the picture smoke.
09:15 Then the next thing you see, as you move towards the left,
09:19 you see the altar of laver,
09:21 then you must pass the first veil,
09:24 which is what we mentioned
09:26 in the Book of Hebrews Chapter 9.
09:28 The first veil, you see the tabernacle there,
09:32 you see that there is a lampstand,
09:34 there is the table of showbread.
09:37 And just before the curtain is the altar of incense.
09:42 If you pass, as you pass through the curtain
09:45 by the altar of incense, you enter the Most Holy Place.
09:50 And there in the Most Holy Place
09:53 is the Ark of the Covenant
09:55 of which we said was the Ark of the Covenant,
09:59 there also was the golden pot that had manna,
10:03 Aaron's rod that budded.
10:05 And, of course, it doesn't mention here,
10:08 but the laws containing ordinances
10:12 were on the side of the ark.
10:15 And this all typified the work of the high priest
10:20 that were sacrifices were offered daily there.
10:24 As a matter of fact,
10:26 every evening and morning there was a sacrifice.
10:29 Let's go to the Book of Exodus Chapter 29.
10:32 And let us read quickly there,
10:34 as you will notice in Exodus Chapter 29,
10:37 and we're going to read verse 39.
10:38 Exodus 29:39.
10:41 This is what the Bible, says,
10:48 "One lamb you shall offer in the morning,
10:51 and the other lamb you shall offer at twilight,"
10:55 or at evening as some Bible version say.
10:58 So one lamb in the morning,
11:00 and one lamb in the evening was offered every single day
11:04 to typify that God was their Savior.
11:08 The lamb was a symbol of Jesus Christ in the morning
11:12 and in the evening,
11:13 know, to let them know that they depended
11:17 on Jesus Christ.
11:18 They depended on the Lord.
11:20 But also, as you notice in the Bible,
11:23 you will notice that there was a need for people
11:27 when they send to bring a lamb or another animal
11:31 as registered there in the Book of Leviticus,
11:36 you will notice that details are given to us
11:40 as to what animal for what sin
11:42 and for what person are to be offered.
11:44 Let's look to Leviticus 5:6-7 really quick.
11:48 And we have here,
11:50 "And he shall bring
11:52 his trespass offering to the Lord for his sin
11:56 which he has committed, a female from the flock,
12:00 a lamb or a kid of the goats as a sin offering.
12:04 So shall the priest make atonement for him
12:08 concerning his sin."
12:09 Now notice how God
12:11 is considerate of people's finances.
12:13 If he's not able to bring a lamb,
12:16 then he should bring to the Lord for his trespass,
12:18 which he has committed two turtledoves
12:20 or two young pigeons,
12:22 one as a sin offering
12:23 and the other as a burnt offering.
12:25 And every person that sinned,
12:28 which is, which was every one of the people of Israel
12:31 had to bring an animal.
12:34 When the animal was brought, and I want to illustrate here
12:37 just by the use of this that I have before me,
12:39 that when an animal was brought,
12:41 the sinner had to put his hand over the head of the animal
12:46 and there confess his sin on the head of the animal.
12:51 This was a symbol
12:52 that he was transferring his sin to the animal.
12:57 The animal then died in the sinner's place.
13:01 His blood was shed.
13:02 And the Bible says that without the shedding of blood,
13:05 there's no remission of sin.
13:07 This was all symbolic typifying that Jesus Christ,
13:11 the Son of God would come to take away our sins.
13:15 And so this daily took place by,
13:19 then the blood was taken into the Holy Place
13:22 and also put on the horns of the altar sacrifice.
13:26 This meant that the sin was symbolically transferred
13:32 to the Holy Place.
13:35 And so, this went on day by day,
13:39 but notice what the Bible says
13:42 concerning the sin
13:46 and the cleansing of the people.
13:48 We now move to a day
13:50 that was typified would come every single year,
13:54 because the Bible declares
13:56 that the sins were brought again to remembrance.
14:00 This is called the Day of Atonement.
14:03 The Day of Atonement,
14:04 the word atonement
14:06 is not a word we use every single day.
14:07 So if you look in the dictionary,
14:09 that means restoration,
14:11 that means brought back to divine favor.
14:15 You are reconciled to God.
14:17 And so, let's look in Leviticus Chapter 16,
14:21 in Leviticus Chapter 16.
14:23 Now stay with me
14:24 because this is all going to come together beautifully
14:27 as we go through this study.
14:29 Leviticus Chapter 16,
14:31 and we're now going to verses 29 and 30.
14:34 Notice, "This shall be a statute forever for you:
14:38 In the seventh month,
14:39 on the tenth day of the month,
14:42 you shall afflict your souls,
14:44 and do no work at all,
14:46 whether a native of your own country
14:48 or a stranger who dwells among you.
14:50 For on that day the priest shall make atonement for you,
14:54 to cleanse you,
14:56 that you may be clean from all your sins
15:01 before the Lord."
15:02 So, on the Day of Atonement,
15:05 the sins that were confessed throughout the year
15:09 were once again remembered, confessed,
15:12 and the cleansing of the sanctuary took place
15:16 and the cleansing of the people took place.
15:18 And we're going to talk about that in a moment.
15:19 But notice what the Book of Hebrews reveals,
15:23 because like we said,
15:24 these were all symbolic of Jesus Christ.
15:28 Notice what the Book of Hebrews says
15:30 in Hebrews Chapter 10,
15:32 and we're going to read verses 1 through 4.
15:36 Listen carefully,
15:37 "For the law,
15:39 having a shadow of the good things to come,
15:43 and not the very image of the things,
15:46 can never with these same sacrifices,
15:49 which they offer continually year by year,
15:53 make those who approach perfect.
15:56 For then would they not have ceased to be offered?
15:59 For the worshipers, once purified,
16:02 would have had no more consciousness of sins.
16:07 But in those sacrifices
16:08 there is a reminder of sins every year.
16:12 For it is not possible that the blood of bulls
16:15 and goats should take away sin."
16:19 So there it is, there you have it,
16:21 the animal sacrifices were not,
16:26 it was not possible for those sacrifices
16:28 to take away sin.
16:30 They were symbolic
16:32 till the time that Jesus Christ would come
16:35 to die for us to redeem us from destruction,
16:39 to redeem us from death.
16:41 And this is why now we go to the Book of John,
16:44 and in the book of John, there is a scripture
16:47 that was mentioned by John the Baptist.
16:51 One day, he pointed to Jesus Christ
16:54 in the midst of the people
16:56 that was walking amongst the people
16:58 and there in John 1:29,
17:01 he said, behold,
17:04 "The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him,
17:06 and said, 'Behold!
17:08 The Lamb of God
17:10 who takes away the sin of the world!"
17:14 Praise the Lord.
17:15 The animal sacrifices could not do it,
17:17 but the Lamb of God,
17:19 Jesus Christ could take away the sins of the world.
17:23 And I tell you today,
17:24 Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God
17:26 is the only one that can take away your sins
17:30 and deliver you from the bondage of sin,
17:34 the guilt of sin and the penalty of sin,
17:38 which is death.
17:40 So I say to you, we need Jesus.
17:43 Matthew 1:20-21.
17:46 This is concerning Jesus, notice what says,
17:49 "But while he thought about these things,
17:51 behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream,
17:55 saying, 'Joseph, son of David,
17:57 do not be afraid to take to you Mary your wife,
18:01 for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit.
18:04 And she will bring forth a Son,
18:07 and you shall call His name Jesus,
18:09 for He will save His people from their sins.'"
18:14 Notice that Jesus is able to save from our sins,
18:19 not in our sins so that you continue in them,
18:22 but from our sins
18:24 so that you're not held in bondage to them.
18:26 You're not held captive by them.
18:28 You don't have the guilt for them,
18:30 and you don't have the penalty of them.
18:32 Jesus Christ can deliver you from all your sins.
18:36 So come to Him just as you are
18:38 and ask Him to forgive you for all your sins
18:41 and Jesus will make the atonement.
18:45 Jesus is the one that makes the atonement,
18:47 like we said is reconciliation.
18:50 You see that word, we can take it and say,
18:53 at-one-ment is simplifying it
18:55 by saying, you become one with God again.
19:00 So praise the Lord for His goodness.
19:03 You see Acts 4:12.
19:06 The Bible says,
19:07 "Nor is there salvation in any other,
19:10 for there is no other name under heaven
19:13 given among men by which we must be saved."
19:18 And so Jesus is the answer.
19:21 Jesus is the one that can deliver you from sin
19:24 and do a final cleansing upon your life.
19:28 So I encourage you, come to Jesus.
19:30 He is the one that can cleanse you
19:33 thoroughly and completely
19:35 and deliver you from the power of sin.
19:38 So now I say to you
19:40 remember what the Bible reveals
19:43 in Romans Chapter 6.
19:46 And in Romans Chapter 6, we are going to verse 23.
19:50 And this is what the Bible says,
19:52 "For the wages of sin is death,
19:57 but the gift of God is eternal life
20:02 in Christ Jesus our Lord."
20:05 And praise be to God that it is a gift.
20:10 It is a gift.
20:12 A gift is given freely.
20:14 You are not supposed to pay it back.
20:17 And, in fact, you cannot pay it back,
20:20 but because of your love for the Lord,
20:22 because you are grateful to the Lord,
20:25 you will choose to be faithful to Him because you see,
20:30 you don't want sin upon you,
20:32 because if you have sin upon you,
20:34 then you will have to suffer the wages of sin.
20:38 So give up the sin, give it to Jesus,
20:41 let Him cleanse you from it,
20:43 so that you may be justified, cleansed
20:47 and finally cleansed forever and walk among God's children.
20:54 In the Bible,
20:55 we are told
20:57 that Jesus Christ took the sins of the world upon Him.
21:01 Go with me to Isaiah 53:5-6.
21:05 Isaiah 53:5-6,
21:06 speaking of Jesus, the Lamb of God.
21:10 You can start reading in verse 1,
21:12 and you will see that is brought clearly,
21:14 but we are going to start in verse 5.
21:17 Let's go to verse 5 and 6, Isaiah 53,
21:20 "But He was wounded for our transgressions,
21:24 He was bruised for our iniquities,
21:27 the chastisement for our peace was upon Him,
21:32 and by His stripes we are healed.
21:36 All we like sheep have gone astray,
21:39 we have turned, every one, to his own way,
21:42 and the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all."
21:49 Yes, on Jesus Christ was brought to Him
21:53 upon Him the iniquity of us all.
21:56 Jesus Christ has already died for our sins.
22:01 Jesus Christ has already died for your sins.
22:06 And I want to encourage you
22:08 to take advantage of what Jesus Christ has done
22:13 and is doing for you.
22:15 And what do I mean by He's doing for you?
22:17 You see, Jesus Christ is in the heavenly sanctuary,
22:21 ministering in the Most Holy Place.
22:24 And we will get to that in a moment
22:25 on our behalf.
22:27 And only those who come to Him,
22:30 only those who confess their sins
22:33 can take advantage of the fact that Jesus is our High Priest.
22:39 And He is now making intercession for us
22:43 to do a final cleansing,
22:46 a final cleansing of God's people.
22:49 What follows then is that Jesus Christ
22:53 will step out of the Most Holy Place.
22:55 And then this world will be plunged
22:57 into the last place,
23:00 eventually Jesus Christ will come
23:02 and redeem His people.
23:03 I'm getting ahead of myself.
23:05 Let's go now to the Book of Romans 5:10
23:09 and beginning in verse 8.
23:11 Notice Romans Chapter 5, beginning in verse 8,
23:14 "But God demonstrates His own love toward us,
23:19 in that while we were still sinners,
23:22 Christ died for us."
23:24 Much more than having now been justified by His blood,
23:29 we shall be saved from wrath through Him.
23:32 Notice, we are justified by His blood.
23:36 Notice now verse 10,
23:38 "For if when we were enemies," past,
23:40 "we were reconciled," past tense,
23:43 "to God through the death of His Son," past tense,
23:46 "much more having been reconciled,"
23:48 present tense,
23:50 "we shall be saved by His life,"
23:53 future tense.
23:54 Did you catch that?
23:56 And not only that,
23:58 but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ,
24:02 through whom we have now received the reconciliation.
24:07 So we see here that the death of Jesus Christ,
24:11 by His blood we are justified.
24:15 And we were enemies,
24:17 we are reconciled because of His sacrifice,
24:21 but it is because of His life,
24:23 His life as our High Priest that we shall be saved.
24:28 We shall be saved by His life, present tense.
24:32 And so I encourage you to take advantage of the fact
24:35 that Jesus Christ is our High Priest.
24:39 You see, it is only as we each individually
24:45 accept Christ as our substitute and accept His death
24:50 in payment for the penalty of our sins,
24:53 that we can be accepted in the beloved.
24:57 God's sacrifice,
25:00 the sacrifice of Jesus Christ makes reconciliation possible.
25:06 And so,
25:07 you must accept this sacrifice in order for it to be valued,
25:14 put to your account,
25:15 and the blood of Jesus Christ can cleanse you.
25:19 This is not an automatic act.
25:21 It is available,
25:23 but until you accept Jesus Christ,
25:26 you are not justified.
25:27 You are justified freely by His grace through His blood.
25:33 And I encourage you to consider the fact.
25:36 First, you're reconciled
25:38 and being reconciled, you shall be saved.
25:42 And so I encourage you to understand
25:45 reconcile is past tense, shall be saved is future tense,
25:49 the ministry of Christ
25:50 in the sanctuary in heaven is important,
25:54 vitally important and we need to understand that.
25:58 I am reading to you from the book,
25:59 Great Controversy, 489.
26:02 Notice the wording, powerful and beautiful,
26:07 better explained than I can.
26:09 Notice, Great Controversy, 489.
26:13 "The intercession of Christ
26:15 in man's behalf in the sanctuary above
26:19 is as essential to the plan of salvation
26:23 as was His death upon the cross.
26:26 By his death He began that work which after His resurrection,
26:32 He ascended to complete in heaven."
26:35 We must by faith enter within the veil,
26:38 whither the forerunner is for us entered.
26:41 Hebrews 6:20.
26:43 There the light from the cross of Calvary is reflected.
26:47 There we may gain a clearer insight
26:50 into the mysteries of redemption.
26:52 The salvation of man and woman
26:55 is accomplished by an infinite expense
26:58 to heaven.
26:59 Please understand that although salvation
27:02 is freely offered,
27:03 it was at an infinite expense to heaven.
27:06 The sacrifice made is equal
27:09 to the broadest demands of the broken law of God.
27:13 Jesus has opened the way to the Father's throne
27:17 and through His mediation,
27:20 the sincere desire of all who come to Him in faith
27:23 may be presented before God.
27:27 Praise be to God.
27:29 So yes,
27:31 you will notice
27:32 by the sacrificial system on the earth
27:35 that when the sinner brought the lamb
27:39 and confessed his sins on the head of the lamb,
27:44 it was not over.
27:45 What would happen next?
27:47 The lamb was sacrificed.
27:49 Was it over then?
27:50 No, the priest would take some of the blood,
27:54 put it on the horns of the altar
27:56 and the altar of sacrifice.
27:58 He would then go inside with the blood
28:01 and he would minister in the Holy Place
28:04 with the blood.
28:05 And you see, it's not over
28:07 when Christ dies upon the cross,
28:09 there is a final cleansing that must take place.
28:12 The blood of the lamb
28:15 had to be used to minister for us,
28:18 just the same way the blood of Christ.
28:22 He used His blood to minister for us
28:24 in the heavenly sanctuary.
28:27 This is why we must understand
28:29 that there is to be a final cleansing.
28:32 Let's go to the Book of Mark 15:37-39.
28:36 Mark 15:37-39.
28:39 This takes us to the time
28:40 when Jesus Christ was on the cross.
28:42 And when Jesus Christ was on the cross,
28:45 there something happened that is eye-opening.
28:49 Something that we should take notice of
28:52 because in Mark 15,
28:54 Jesus Christ is dying on the cross.
28:56 And it seems like the narrative,
29:00 the telling of the story
29:02 of what Jesus Christ is doing on the cross.
29:04 It seems to pause for a moment
29:06 and takes us to another scene that is in the temple.
29:12 And something happened at the temple
29:13 when Jesus Christ is dying on the cross.
29:15 Let's look at it.
29:17 Mark 15:37-39, notice,
29:19 "And Jesus cried out with a loud voice
29:23 and breathed His last."
29:25 That's on the cross.
29:26 But now notice verse 39,
29:28 "Then the veil of the temple
29:31 was torn in two from top to bottom.
29:36 So when the centurion, who stood opposite Him,
29:39 saw that He cried out like this
29:41 and breathed His last, he said, 'Truly
29:44 this Man was the Son of God!'"
29:47 You see that veil was extremely high.
29:50 It's about 18 feet high.
29:52 That veil was three inches thick.
29:55 According to rabbis and tradition,
29:58 three inches thick,
29:59 no earthly person is strong enough to tear it.
30:02 I don't know who you know, that is strong,
30:05 but some people have a hard time.
30:07 You just take three, three or four pieces of paper
30:10 and they can't tear that.
30:12 Now this is a veil, three inches thick.
30:16 No person is powerful enough to tear it.
30:21 As a matter of fact, it was high.
30:22 And notice that it says
30:23 detailed from top to the bottom.
30:29 No man tore the veil of the temple.
30:32 God sent an angel to do this work,
30:35 to give us a message
30:37 that the earthly sacrifices were over
30:40 when Jesus Christ dies on the cross.
30:42 The earthly sacrifices are over because the true sacrifice,
30:46 the real Lamb of God dies on the cross for us
30:52 and no more do we have to offer lambs,
30:55 no more need of animal sacrifices.
30:58 Jesus Christ ended all the animal sacrifices.
31:02 Praise the Lord,
31:04 because He is the Lamb of God
31:06 that takes away the sin of the world.
31:09 Would you say amen to that?
31:11 Praise the Lord, if you did. Praise the Lord if you didn't.
31:13 So, I encourage you to consider that we have a High Priest,
31:17 Jesus Christ.
31:19 Hebrews 4:14.
31:20 You see when Jesus ascended to heaven,
31:22 He became our High Priest.
31:24 We don't have enough time to detail all of that,
31:27 the hows and whys,
31:29 but read the Book of Hebrews
31:30 and you will see that you will understand this.
31:33 Let's go to Hebrews 4:14-16,
31:37 "Seeing then that we have a great High Priest
31:41 who has passed through the heavens,
31:43 Jesus the Son of God,
31:45 let us hold fast our confession.
31:49 For we do not have a High Priest
31:51 who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses,
31:53 but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin."
31:58 I say, praise the Lord.
32:01 "Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace,
32:05 that we may obtain mercy
32:06 and find grace to help in time of need."
32:11 Praise the Lord.
32:12 Jesus Christ tempted,
32:14 severely tempted by the devil over and over again.
32:18 The devil was after Jesus
32:20 like no other human being over and over again,
32:24 made it as difficult as possibly could be for Jesus.
32:29 Tempted Him severely
32:31 much more than you and I could ever be tempted,
32:33 but Jesus hung on to the power of God
32:37 and said, "Thus, it is written,"
32:41 and overcame through the power that you and I can have.
32:45 You see as a human being,
32:47 Jesus Christ had to face temptations
32:49 like you and I have to face
32:51 depending on strength from above.
32:53 And so, this is why you and I can by faith in Christ,
32:59 trusting in His strength in us,
33:02 we can be more than conquerors through Jesus Christ.
33:05 Praise be to His name.
33:07 This is why Paul was able to say,
33:09 "I can do all things through Christ
33:11 who strengthens me."
33:13 And so now I go to Hebrews Chapter 9 really quick
33:16 because something happened eventually.
33:19 We're talking about the final cleansing.
33:21 When does the final cleansing begin
33:24 in Hebrews Chapter 9?
33:26 We now enter into,
33:27 remember, let's go back to the graphic
33:29 and you will understand
33:30 that something important happened.
33:32 In the graphic you will see that there was a Holy Place.
33:36 When Jesus Christ ascended to heaven,
33:39 He went through the first veil
33:41 and there, where you see the table of showbread
33:43 the lampstand and the altar of incense.
33:47 There He ministered for 1800 years,
33:51 for about 1800 years
33:53 Jesus was ministering in the Holy Place.
33:57 The people that would confess their sins
33:59 wore, when you, when the people confessed their sins,
34:02 they were put upon Christ
34:04 and He ministered His blood in the Holy Place.
34:08 But eventually
34:10 He has to go to the Most Holy Place
34:13 to do a final cleansing of the heavily century.
34:17 You follow me along please
34:18 as we move quickly to Hebrews 9:6-10.
34:20 Notice,
34:22 "Now when these things had been thus prepared,
34:24 the priests always went
34:26 into the first part of the tabernacle,
34:28 performing the services."
34:30 This is what Jesus did.
34:31 "But into the second part
34:33 the high priest went alone once a year."
34:36 So eventually Jesus Christ would pass
34:39 from the first apartment to the second apartment.
34:41 Why?
34:43 Because it is time for the final cleansing.
34:45 Notice verse 7,
34:47 "But into the second part
34:48 the high priest went alone once a year
34:50 not without blood,
34:51 which he offered for himself
34:53 and for the people's sins committed in ignorance,
34:56 the Holy Spirit indicating this,
34:58 that the way into the Holiest of All
35:00 was not yet made manifest
35:02 while the first tabernacle was still standing."
35:05 That is the earthly tabernacle.
35:07 Notice verse 9.
35:08 "It was symbolic for the present time
35:11 in which both gifts and sacrifices are offered
35:15 which cannot make him
35:18 who performed the service perfect
35:19 in regard to the conscience,
35:21 concerned only with foods and drinks,
35:24 various washings,
35:25 and fleshly ordinances imposed
35:28 until the time of reformation."
35:32 And the time of reformation came
35:34 when Jesus died on the cross,
35:35 He became our Great High Priest.
35:38 And this is why I point you now to Revelation Chapter 14.
35:43 And we're moving now to Revelation 14:6-7,
35:46 because there a cry is to be made, was made,
35:50 began already in the 1800s,
35:54 to talk about the message of the time
35:57 when Christ entered the Most Holy Place.
36:00 Revelation 14:6-7,
36:02 "Then I saw another angel
36:04 flying in the midst of heaven,
36:06 having the everlasting gospel to preach unto those
36:10 who dwell on the earth
36:11 to every nation, tribe, tongue and people
36:14 saying with a loud voice,
36:16 fear God and give glory to him,
36:18 for the hour of His judgment has come,
36:21 and worship Him who made heaven and earth, the sea
36:24 and the springs of water."
36:26 In the year 1844,
36:29 Jesus Christ went from the first apartment
36:31 in the heavily sanctuary to the second apartment,
36:34 which is the Most Holy Place in heaven.
36:36 Let's go quickly to the Bible
36:38 and look at how this, this took place.
36:41 First, we moved to Hebrews 9:23,
36:45 and it says,
36:46 "Therefore it was necessary
36:48 that the copies of the things in the heavens,"
36:52 those on the earth,
36:53 the copies of the things in the heaven,
36:55 "should be purified with these,
36:56 the blood of animals,
36:58 but the heavenly things themselves
37:00 with better sacrifices than these."
37:02 The better sacrifice is Jesus Christ, my friend.
37:06 Hebrews 9:24.
37:11 Notice beginning there,
37:12 "For Christ has not entered
37:15 the holy places made with hands,
37:17 which are copies of the true,
37:19 but into heaven itself,
37:21 now to appear in the presence of God for us,
37:25 not that He should offer Himself often,
37:28 as the high priest enters the Most Holy Place every year
37:31 with blood of another,"
37:33 that is of animals,
37:34 "He then would have had to suffer often
37:37 since the foundation of the world,
37:39 but now, once at the end of the ages,
37:42 He has appeared to put away sin
37:44 by the sacrifice of Himself."
37:47 Time is moving quickly and I must move quickly.
37:50 Please follow along.
37:51 Daniel 8:13-14.
37:54 Notice what the Bible says there.
37:56 "Then I heard a holy one speaking,
37:58 and another holy one said
38:00 to that certain one who was speaking,
38:02 'How long will the vision be,
38:04 concerning the daily sacrifices
38:06 and the transgression of desolation,
38:09 the giving of both the sanctuary
38:11 and the host to be trampled underfoot?'
38:13 And he said to me,
38:15 'For two thousand three hundred days,
38:17 then the sanctuary shall be cleansed.'"
38:20 We're talking now about the final cleansing,
38:22 2,300 days,
38:25 and some versions it says
38:27 2,300 evenings and mornings
38:29 because a day is composed of an evening and the morning.
38:33 In Ezekiel 4:6,
38:35 we are told,
38:36 "And when you have completed them,
38:38 lie again on your right side,
38:40 then you shall bear the iniquity of the house
38:43 of Judah forty days.
38:44 I have laid on you a day for each year."
38:47 What we're trying to say is this, my friend,
38:49 the 2,300 days mentioned in Daniel 8:14,
38:56 a day is equal to a year in Bible prophecy.
38:59 So, then it was revealed to Daniel
39:02 and to us that we, as we read it
39:04 that unto 2,300 days, 2,300 years,
39:09 then the sanctuary will be cleansed.
39:11 Which sanctuary?
39:13 We're talking about the sanctuary in heaven.
39:15 So, let's move quickly now as we go to Daniel 9:24,
39:20 so that we can understand when this began.
39:23 In Daniel Chapter 24,
39:25 it says,
39:26 "Seventy weeks are determined for your people
39:29 and for your holy city,
39:31 to finish the transgression, to make an end of sins,
39:34 to make reconciliation for iniquity,
39:37 to bring in everlasting righteousness,
39:39 to seal up vision and prophecy, and to anoint the Most Holy."
39:43 And that that is a lot.
39:44 We do not have enough time to unpackage all of this,
39:47 but notice what it says 70 weeks are determined.
39:50 Determined is the word cutoff.
39:51 In the Hebrew that's what is brought out.
39:53 Cut off from what?
39:54 Is cut off from the 2,300 years,
39:58 or days equal to years in Daniel 8:14.
40:02 It is describing the time
40:05 when the 2,300 days equal to years should begin.
40:10 Notice verse 25,
40:12 "Know therefore and understand,
40:13 that from the going forth of the command
40:17 to restore and build Jerusalem
40:19 until Messiah the Prince,
40:21 there shall be seven weeks and sixty-two weeks,
40:25 the street shall be built again,
40:26 and the wall, even in troublesome times."
40:29 This is the beginning of the prophecy, 2,300 years.
40:34 You can look at the Book of Ezra Chapter 7.
40:36 There are several decrees given.
40:38 There's one that is the longest,
40:40 and the one that allows for all of the things detailed
40:44 in Daniel 9:25, to do all of these things,
40:49 to build Jerusalem and to build the wall
40:52 and all these things to take place.
40:54 The decree that gave all of these rights,
40:58 it occurred in 457 BC, 457 BC before Christ.
41:04 So, taking this as the starting point
41:06 for 457 BC
41:07 moving to 2,300 years,
41:10 takes us to 1844.
41:13 Let's be, continue reading in Daniel 9:26-27,
41:17 to see more details of what should take place
41:20 and notice what is says.
41:24 "And after sixty-two weeks Messiah shall be cut off,
41:27 but not for Himself,
41:29 and the people of the prince
41:30 who is to come shall destroy the city
41:32 and the sanctuary.
41:34 The end of it shall be with a flood,
41:36 and till the end of the war desolations are determined.
41:39 Then he shall confirm
41:41 a covenant with many for one week,
41:43 but in the middle of the week
41:45 He shall bring, notice,
41:47 He shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering.
41:51 And on the wing of abominations shall be
41:54 one who makes desolate, even until the consummation,
41:57 which is determined,
41:58 is poured out on the desolate."
42:00 So, remember this,
42:03 in the middle of the week,
42:04 in the middle of the last week of the 490 years,
42:09 detailed by 70 weeks,
42:11 the Messiah is cut off and it says
42:14 He shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering.
42:16 When Jesus dies on the cross,
42:18 He brings an end to sacrifice and offerings.
42:20 But notice that we said
42:22 that in Daniel Chapter 29, 9:24,
42:27 it says, "And to anoint the Most Holy."
42:30 This is talking about anointing the Most Holy Place in heaven.
42:35 Jesus Christ is the Messiah, the anointed one,
42:38 but to anoint the Most Holy here,
42:40 it is talking not about a person,
42:42 it is talking about a place,
42:44 and that is a place, the Most Holy in heaven.
42:48 I don't have time to detail all this,
42:50 but it means that Jesus Christ
42:52 would anoint the Most Holy Place,
42:56 the temple in heaven
42:57 to begin His ministry as our High Priest.
43:01 So, in 1844
43:03 began the time of final cleansing.
43:08 And in 1 Peter 4:17,
43:11 we have what the Bible tells us,
43:14 who it begins with.
43:16 Notice 1 Peter 4:17,
43:18 "For the time has come for judgment
43:21 to begin at the house of God,
43:23 and if it begins with us first,
43:27 what will be the end of those
43:29 who do not obey the gospel of God?"
43:33 In this verse it tells you
43:35 that it begins with the house of God,
43:38 those that claim to be children of God,
43:41 those that claim to be part of God's family.
43:47 The judgment begins with those
43:49 that claim to be God's children.
43:51 So, God's children beginning with Adam
43:53 in 1844 began all the,
43:57 those that died before Christ begins His ministry.
44:01 It begins with them.
44:04 Then it moves to those that are living.
44:07 And God knows when that time is.
44:09 We do not know, it is not revealed,
44:11 but the time would come
44:13 when the final cleansing will move to those
44:16 that are alive.
44:18 And I tell you, the time is coming,
44:21 when that time will begin, if it has not already begun.
44:24 In Revelation 22:12,
44:28 we are moving quickly because of time.
44:30 Revelation 22:12,
44:32 the Bible tells us,
44:33 "And behold I am coming quickly,
44:35 and My reward is with Me to give to everyone,
44:38 according to his work."
44:40 You see, when Christ comes, the work of judgment is done.
44:46 All of the people that have said,
44:48 I believe in God, I want to be a child of God,
44:51 all of that has been done
44:53 and investigative judgment is done.
44:55 And all the cases of all those that died
44:59 believing in God and all those that are alive,
45:02 believing in God,
45:03 the time when Jesus Christ returns,
45:05 all that work is done.
45:06 And He's coming with His reward to give to every man,
45:08 according as his work shall be.
45:11 Now, let's move quickly to Leviticus Chapter 16
45:13 and go to verse 6.
45:15 Leviticus Chapter 16 moving to verse 6.
45:18 There are a lot of scriptures and we must move quickly,
45:22 so that we can bring the complete as much as we can
45:25 in the time that we have.
45:26 Leviticus Chapter 16,
45:28 we're going to go to verses 6 through 9.
45:30 Leviticus 16:6-9.
45:32 This is what the Bible says.
45:34 "And Aaron shall offer the bull..."
45:38 Oh, I'm sorry, I'm reading, yes, verse 6,
45:41 "And Aaron shall offer the bull as a sin offering,
45:44 which is for himself,
45:45 and make atonement for himself and for his house.
45:48 He shall take the two goats
45:50 and present them before the Lord
45:52 at the door of the tabernacle meeting.
45:54 Then Aaron shall cast lots for the two goats:
45:57 one lot for the Lord
45:59 and the other lot for the scapegoat.
46:01 And Aaron shall bring the goat on which the Lord's lot fell,
46:04 and offer it as a sin offering."
46:07 Here my friend, there are two goats.
46:09 One is a Lord's goat.
46:10 It is offered as a sin offering
46:13 with the blood of that goat, atonement is made
46:17 to cleanse the sanctuary
46:19 back then in on the Day of Atonement,
46:21 cleanse the sanctuary,
46:23 the altar and cleanse the people.
46:26 Upon this goat
46:28 the sins of God's people are confessed."
46:31 They are symbolically then transferred to the goat,
46:35 and this goat dies for the sin of the people
46:38 to cleanse the people and the sanctuary.
46:41 But there's another goat, a goat that remains alive
46:44 that is called the scapegoat.
46:45 On that goat something happens to it
46:48 and we need to pay close attention
46:50 to understand what that is.
46:52 We now move to verse 10,
46:53 "But the goat
46:55 on which the lot fell to be the scapegoat
46:57 shall be presented alive before the Lord,
47:00 to make atonement upon it,
47:01 and to let it go as the scapegoat
47:03 into the wilderness."
47:05 Remember, only when an animal is sacrificed,
47:08 can you make atonement with it.
47:10 This goat,
47:12 the goat that is presented alive
47:14 before the Lord
47:15 is a symbol of the devil.
47:18 Why is he a symbol of the devil?
47:20 You see, the devil has brought temptation
47:23 upon every human being since the Adam and Eve.
47:27 And he has some participation
47:29 in the fact that people fall into sin.
47:31 And this scapegoat symbolizes that Satan at the end of time,
47:37 when God's people are rescued by Jesus,
47:41 Jesus Christ comes the second time.
47:43 Jesus comes and places upon the devil
47:48 all of the sins of God's people.
47:50 Why?
47:52 Because he has had participation
47:54 and he must bear the guilt of the part
47:58 that he had to play in people falling into sin.
48:02 He must bear the guilt,
48:03 not to be offered as a sacrifice,
48:06 but to be punished for the part that he has done.
48:09 Notice then,
48:10 let's move to Leviticus 16:15-16.
48:13 It's a lot to take in. You must follow quickly.
48:15 "Then he shall kill the goat of the sin offering,"
48:17 that is the Lord's goat.
48:19 Then he shall kill the goat of the sin offering,
48:21 which is for the people,
48:22 bring its blood inside the veil,
48:24 do with that blood
48:25 as he did with the blood of the bull,
48:27 and sprinkle it on the mercy seat
48:29 and before the mercy seat.
48:30 So shall he make atonement for the Holy Place,
48:34 because of the uncleanness of the children of Israel,
48:37 and because of their transgressions,
48:39 for all their sins,
48:40 and so shall he do for the tabernacle of meeting
48:43 which remains among them
48:45 in the midst of their uncleanness.
48:46 It is the Lord's goat that is sacrificed.
48:48 It is the blood of that goat that does the cleansing.
48:52 Notice verse 17,
48:53 "There shall be no man in the tabernacle of meeting
48:56 when he goes in to make atonement
48:57 in the Holy Place,
48:59 until he comes out,
49:00 that he may make atonement for himself,
49:02 for his household,
49:04 and for all the assembly of Israel.
49:06 And he shall go out to the altar
49:08 that is before the Lord, and make atonement for it,
49:10 and shall take some of the blood of the bull
49:12 and some of the blood of the goat,
49:13 and put it on the horns of the altar all around.
49:16 Then he shall sprinkle some of the blood on it
49:18 with his finger seven times,
49:20 cleanse it, and consecrate it
49:22 from the uncleanness of the children of Israel."
49:25 Cleansing is taking place with the Lord's goat.
49:30 But notice now the scapegoat.
49:32 And when,
49:34 we're moving to verse 20 of Leviticus 16,
49:36 "And when he has made an end of atoning for the Holy Place,"
49:39 atoning has been done,
49:41 "for the Holy Place the tabernacle of meeting,
49:43 and the altar, he shall bring the live goat.
49:46 Aaron shall lay both his hands on the head of the live goat,
49:49 confess over it
49:50 all the iniquities of the children of Israel,
49:52 and all their transgressions, concerning all their sins,
49:56 putting them on the head of the goat,
49:58 and shall send it away into the wilderness
50:00 by the hand of a suitable man.
50:02 The goat shall bear on itself
50:05 all their iniquities to an uninhabited land,
50:08 and he shall release the goat in the wilderness."
50:10 He is not sacrificed in the Lord's tabernacle.
50:15 He's not sacrificed
50:17 because he is not an offering for sin.
50:20 He is bearing the guilt of the people
50:22 outside the camp.
50:23 And that is a symbol of the devil
50:25 that has to bear
50:26 and the responsibility for his participation
50:29 in tempting people.
50:31 Praise the Lord for that.
50:32 Jesus Christ dies for our sin.
50:35 He cleanses us from all sin,
50:36 His blood cleanses the Most Holy Place in heaven,
50:39 cleanses the heavenly sanctuary.
50:41 And then afterwards,
50:43 the blood, all the sins are confessed upon the devil
50:46 and he has to bear for his part in it.
50:49 Revelation Chapter 20 details
50:52 what actually is happening there.
50:54 Notice what it says,
50:55 "Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven,
50:57 having the key to the bottomless pit
50:59 and a great chain in his hand.
51:01 He laid hold of the dragon, that serpent of old,
51:04 who is the Devil and Satan,
51:05 and bound him for a thousand years,
51:07 and he cast him into the bottomless pit,
51:09 and shut him up, and set a seal on him,
51:12 so that he should deceive the nations no more
51:14 till the thousand years were finished.
51:15 But after these things
51:17 he must be released for a little season.
51:20 "Now he has all these sins upon him,
51:22 the devil, after Jesus Christ comes
51:25 and a thousand year begins
51:26 and he has time to consider the work of his hands,
51:29 all of the wicked things he has done
51:31 and consider all of the iniquities
51:33 that he had caused people to do.
51:36 He has to bear that responsibility.
51:38 In Hebrews 16:22.
51:41 The Bible says, and according to the law,
51:43 almost all things are purified with blood.
51:45 And without the shedding of blood,
51:47 there's no remission.
51:48 The blood was shed
51:49 with the blood of the Lord goats.
51:54 The blood of the scapegoat is not shed.
51:57 It is set out into the wilderness
51:59 to die on its own out there,
52:01 to die at the hand of somebody out at the...
52:04 By some animal
52:06 or falling into a precipice or something,
52:08 but he is not sacrificed.
52:11 This is a symbol of the devil.
52:13 And I say to you,
52:15 let's go now to Leviticus 16:29-34.
52:19 I hope you're following along,
52:21 so that you can understand this better.
52:22 Let's move quickly.
52:23 Notice what the Bible says,
52:25 "This shall be a statute forever for you:
52:27 In the seventh month, on the tenth day of the month,
52:29 you shall afflict your souls, and do no work at all,
52:33 whether a native of your own country
52:34 or a stranger who dwells among you.
52:37 For on that day
52:39 the priest shall make atonement for you,
52:41 to cleanse you,
52:43 that you may be clean from all your sins
52:45 before the Lord."
52:47 Yes, my friend, Jesus Christ will do this.
52:50 He's doing this
52:51 and the time will come when your name will come up.
52:55 Jesus will do a final cleansing.
53:00 This is the Day of Atonement. You can continue reading there.
53:03 Let's go to verse 31.
53:04 It says,
53:06 "It is a day of solemn rest for you,
53:07 and you shall afflict your souls.
53:09 It is a statute forever.
53:10 And the priest,
53:12 who is anointed and consecrated to minister
53:14 as priest in his father's place,
53:16 shall make atonement, and put on the linen clothes,
53:18 the holy garments,
53:19 he shall make atonement for the Holy Sanctuary,
53:21 and he shall make atonement for the tabernacle of meeting
53:24 for the altar,
53:25 he shall make atonement for the priests
53:27 and for all the people of the assembly.
53:29 This shall be an everlasting statute for you,
53:31 to make atonement for the children of Israel,
53:33 for all their sins, once a year.
53:35 And he did as the Lord commanded Moses.'"
53:40 So, we see brothers and sisters, friends,
53:44 Jesus Christ is going to do a final cleansing.
53:46 This was typified in the sanctuary service.
53:49 The yearly service,
53:50 the Day of Atonement would come once a year.
53:53 The people prepare themselves.
53:54 And when the high priest was ministering
53:57 and they say, there's a tradition that says
54:01 that the high priest
54:03 had some kind of a rope attached to him
54:06 in case he died inside there,
54:09 there was some sin that he did not confess.
54:12 They could pull him out
54:13 because only the high priest
54:15 could go into the Most Holy Place.
54:17 I say to you, we are living in solemn times.
54:20 Jesus Christ is ministering
54:22 in the Most Holy Place in heaven.
54:26 A final cleansing is taking place.
54:29 And the time will come, if it has not already come,
54:32 that the names of those alive will be coming before Christ.
54:37 And you must, at that time,
54:39 be completely surrender to the Lord,
54:41 given to the Lord
54:42 that He can do a final cleansing on your life.
54:45 Revelation 22 beginning of verse 10,
54:47 "And he said to me,
54:49 'Do not seal
54:50 the words of the prophecy of this book,
54:52 for the time is at hand.
54:54 He who is unjust, let him be unjust still,
54:57 he who is filthy, let him be filthy still,
55:00 he who is righteous, let him be righteous still,
55:03 he who is holy, let him be holy still."
55:06 The time will come
55:07 when Jesus takes the very last name
55:11 upon His lips,
55:13 He cannot say, and He will say to the Father,
55:15 Father, I died for him.
55:18 I died for her.
55:20 Whoever may be,
55:22 please take My blood
55:25 because of My blood,
55:27 I cleansed from all sin and unrighteousness.
55:30 And the final cleansing
55:31 of the final person will take place.
55:33 And only those who confess their sins
55:37 can only be cleansed and forgiven.
55:39 So go to the Lord, confess your sins.
55:42 And I say to you in 1 John 2:1, it says,
55:46 "My little children,
55:48 these things I write to you, so that you may not sin.
55:51 And if anyone sins,
55:53 we have an Advocate with the Father,
55:55 Jesus Christ the righteous."
55:58 And He Himself
55:59 is the propitiation for our sins,
56:01 and not for ours only,
56:02 but for the sins of the whole world.
56:05 And I say to you,
56:07 Jesus Christ is the Lamb of God
56:11 that takes away our sins.
56:13 So, 1 John 1:9,
56:15 "If we confess our sins, notice the if.
56:17 "If we confess our sins, He is faithful
56:20 and just to forgive us for our sins
56:23 and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
56:25 Take advantage of that,
56:27 confess your sins before the Lord
56:29 so that you can be cleansed from all unrighteousness
56:31 and receive the final cleansing from Jesus.
56:34 1 Peter 1:18-19,
56:36 "Knowing that you were not redeemed
56:39 with corruptible things, like silver or gold,
56:42 from your aimless conduct
56:44 received by tradition from your fathers,
56:46 but with the precious blood of Christ,
56:49 as of a lamb without blemish and without spot."
56:53 I encourage you
56:55 to give yourself completely to the Lord,
56:57 say to Him, I want to be Your child.
57:00 I want to receive the cleansing,
57:03 the final cleansing that Jesus offers
57:06 and live each day, looking unto Jesus,
57:09 following Jesus with all of your heart,
57:11 looking unto Jesus,
57:13 the author, and finisher of our faith.
57:14 And when you face difficulties,
57:16 when you face trials and temptations,
57:18 trust in the Lord and through His strength,
57:21 you will be more than a conqueror
57:23 through Jesus Christ.
57:24 I put myself in the hands of the Lord.
57:26 I encourage you to do the same
57:27 so that you too may receive the final cleansing.
