00:20 Hello, and welcome to 3ABN Today
00:22 to our special Christmas program today. 00:25 We have some great things planned. 00:26 I don't know how they'll turn out, 00:28 but we got some great things planned. 00:30 And hopefully with the Lord's blessing 00:32 they'll turn out, Tim, okay. 00:33 For His glory. 00:34 Yvonne, tell us about our friends right here. 00:37 Have you seen them before? 00:39 They look slightly familiar, I think. 00:42 Reggie and Ladye Love Smith, 00:43 two of our dearest friends on the planet, 00:46 and they are amazing singers. 00:47 And look over here. Of course. 00:50 We call him Dr. Tim. 00:52 The Tim, the one and only Tim Parton. 00:55 We call him Dr. Tim 00:57 because anybody who can dominate 00:58 a piano like that, 00:59 I could see him like Dr. Carson in the surgery, 01:03 you know, working on there. 01:05 I was thinking of Dr. Pepper, but... 01:06 Yeah, she's thinking Dr. Pepper instead of Yvonne and me. 01:09 All right. That's enough. 01:11 Let's turn around, introduce our other guests over here. 01:13 We have Candy Carson, 01:14 we're so glad you're here today. 01:16 Well, thank you so much for having me. 01:17 It's great to be here. 01:19 You notice my lead in to you by referring to Dr. Ben Carson, 01:22 you know, than over here. 01:23 Yes, I notice, he's fabulous on that piano. 01:25 I mean, he can make it do things that nobody does. 01:27 Doesn't He? 01:28 Yes, it talks too. Yeah. 01:30 So the doctor's worthy right of that, 01:32 we give him the doctor name. 01:33 Of course. Definitely, Dr. Tim. 01:36 Thank you. There you go. 01:37 We're so glad to have Dr. Candy with us. 01:39 So, absolutely. 01:40 And our special guest today also Kris Wilkinson. 01:45 Now, Kris, we've been working together 01:47 for I figured it up earlier since '82. 01:51 So that's 39 years. 01:53 Thirty nine years, we've been working together. 01:55 We must have been little kids, right? 01:57 We were five years old. Kris was new. 02:00 Kris was new in town at the time. 02:03 Yvonne, she was new. 02:04 She was like a new string arranger. 02:06 And I was looking for somebody 02:07 that I didn't have to pay a lot of money, 02:09 but was really good. 02:12 And Bobby Bradley told me, you know what? 02:14 Kris Wilkinson is fabulous, says, "She is great. 02:17 And better get her before she gets too famous 02:19 and her prices go really high." 02:21 Oh, yeah. 02:22 So we've been friends 02:24 and I always lay on that part of. 02:25 Remember now, Kris, 02:27 I need you to do this work, but we're friends. 02:28 Yeah. 02:30 Can you keep this, you know, remember our '82 prices. 02:32 You know, Kris, we're so glad you, 02:35 you and of course your husband, Larry, 02:36 we've been working with him for just as long. 02:38 Yes. 02:40 Missing him today, 02:41 but I know he had other things to do. 02:42 And so we're glad you're here. 02:44 Tell us about our other players here today? 02:47 All right. 02:48 I brought two of my dear friends 02:50 from Nashville. 02:51 We work together on recording sessions 02:53 for many stars, and, you know, television shows 02:57 and this is David Davidson on violin. 03:00 Glad you're here, David. Yes, welcome. 03:02 And this is Emily Rodgers. I almost said Nelson. 03:07 Emily just got married. So she's Emily Rodgers. 03:10 Congratulation. Yeah, all right. 03:11 And she's playing the cello. 03:14 All right. Some of the... 03:15 Candy, some of you, 03:17 y'all just met now you and Kris, 03:18 so you working out something together? 03:20 What have you found out about her yet? 03:21 Anything the audience needs to know? 03:23 It's the Country Music Awards Association awards 03:25 that you're one of the big things 03:27 that's coming up with you now 03:28 that she's doing arrangements for that. 03:31 And your husband Larry, 03:32 of course, has plays bass with the Grand Ole Opry 03:37 and that you're in Nashville. 03:38 Yes. 03:40 Yes, of course. Yes. 03:41 And I know, you're near Nashville, too, 03:42 you know, getting married and marrying a pianist 03:44 who's also a classical and jazz, right? 03:47 So I'm sure 03:48 that's an interesting combination, 03:50 that classical and jazz together. 03:51 David here just bought a farm. Oh, okay. 03:54 Yes. Yeah. 03:56 Okay. Just outside of Nashville. 03:57 Yeah. Outside, wonderful. 03:59 So you've been doing this professionally 04:01 how many years, Dave? 04:03 Playing the fiddle? Yeah. 04:05 The violin? Well, I guess for 44 years. 04:07 Forty four years. All right. 04:09 We're so glad you're here today. 04:11 Kris said we're gonna bring up some players 04:13 that are gonna knock your socks off 04:15 or something like that. 04:16 I think I'm not sure she said that term. 04:18 But definitely 04:20 so because we've already heard a little bit 04:22 when they were warming up while ago. 04:23 So we're looking forward to that. 04:25 And so what we'd like to do, 04:27 we're going to do a little song with our viewers. 04:29 I turn my back there a minute, I hope they get us here. 04:31 We're not turning our back on you. 04:33 But this, the reason we're doing these programs 04:36 and these Christmas programs, because it's all about Jesus. 04:39 It's all about this time of year 04:41 and I always have to say this 04:42 because people write if I don't, 04:44 we know Jesus was not born on December 25. 04:47 But we do know that whatever season 04:50 whenever He was born, 04:51 He's right now ever interceding 04:52 at the right hand of the Father for you and for me 04:55 and someday He's coming back very soon 04:57 in the clouds of glory, 04:59 and all we have to do to go home with Him 05:01 forever is surrender our lives to Him 05:04 and ask Him to forgive us from our sins. 05:06 He will cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 05:09 So because He lives, I can face tomorrow. 05:12 How's that for an intro? 05:14 That was great segue. 05:15 All right. Let's do it. 05:17 Sing it, Danny. 05:18 God sent His Son 05:24 They called Him Jesus 05:31 He came to love 05:36 Heal and forgive 05:43 He lived and died 05:49 To buy 05:52 My pardon 05:57 An empty grave 06:01 Is there to prove 06:04 My Savior lives 06:08 Okay, y'all sing with us at home, okay? 06:11 And because He lives 06:18 I can face tomorrow 06:24 Because He lives 06:30 All fear is gone 06:34 Because I know who holds the future. 06:36 Because I know 06:42 He holds the future 06:46 Life is worth the living. 06:48 And life is worth the living 06:53 Just because 06:57 He lives 07:03 All right. 07:04 Amen. 07:05 Thank you, Brother Tim Parton, 07:07 what an incredible job that you do. 07:08 And now we're going to go to our guests. 07:09 And again, thank you at home. 07:11 Without you, there would be no 3ABN. 07:14 So we thank you for your love 07:15 and your prayers and financial support. 07:18 And again, too, for our crew. 07:19 Look what an incredible set we have here. 07:22 We're probably not actually outside 07:24 for those of you think we're outside freezing, 07:25 we're really not. 07:27 It just looks like they've done 07:28 such an incredible job. 07:30 But, Candy, I wanted you right before y'all play a song. 07:34 And thank you again for being here. 07:35 And I know your schedule is unbelievably hectic. 07:38 But we got you here, 07:40 so we're gonna keep you a little bit, 07:41 and I know you have to take off again 07:43 and head off to another state to meet with Dr. Ben. 07:47 But tell us a little bit of some Christmas memory 07:49 with your family, your kids? 07:51 Yeah. 07:52 Well, when the kids weren't so little 07:54 but they were a little enough. 07:55 We found a violin, 07:58 well, a string teacher 07:59 who had them reading music in three months. 08:02 This guy was phenomenal. 08:04 He was only half an hour from the house. 08:05 And I was afraid to try to teach myself 08:07 because my teacher used to call us names 08:09 and throw stuff at us. 08:10 But anyway, getting back, you know, if you did something, 08:13 I mean, just a little mistake. 08:14 And, but anyway, um, yeah. 08:17 So he and I'm reading, I said, 08:18 "Well, you guys can read, we're gonna do stuff." 08:20 So we became Carson 4 string quartet. 08:22 Okay. 08:23 And the group at University of Maryland hospital 08:26 heard about us, 08:28 they had a volunteer Christmas caroling group 08:30 that would do carols in the foyer, 08:33 free lunch hours in December. 08:35 And the head of cardiology, 08:37 who was saying, you know, he played violin. 08:39 And he was saying, 08:40 you know, you guys should come and play with us. 08:42 And I was thinking it was more 08:43 because he'd have all the parts covered 08:45 because of the volunteer group. 08:46 So at least the cards were covered. 08:48 The kids played, we played together for, 08:51 I don't know, over 10 years. 08:52 But it was really fun to do that, 08:55 you get caroling in your bug. 08:56 I mean, the caroling bug in your blood, 08:59 you know, so you know, wherever we go now, 09:01 I carol whether the kids are with me or not. 09:03 And actually, they're all married women 09:04 that don't play, 09:06 so they're not playing much anymore, 09:07 but I get the instrument so I can play them. 09:08 So that's a good thing. I can try other things. 09:10 We're glad that you're here today 09:12 and working with Kris and Dave and Emily. 09:15 And we're going to sit down, Yvonne, 09:16 and let them minister to us, all right? 09:18 Wonderful. All right. 09:20 Let's play Carol of the Bells. 14:02 Praise the Lord. You know what? 14:04 We were waiting on Candy. 14:05 We were waiting on the bow. 14:07 We wanted to make sure you had your bow up 14:09 before it was perfect. 14:10 Yeah. 14:13 Yeah. 14:14 Reggie's doing this. Okay. 14:16 Oh, beautiful. Thank you all so much. 14:18 Wonderful. 14:20 I know you have to leave in just a little bit, 14:21 but we're so glad you're here. 14:23 Yeah. 14:24 And so next time when you come, we're gonna make sure 14:25 you can stay with us a little longer. 14:27 But thank you so much. 14:28 Give regards to your husband and family, Dr. Ben Carson. 14:32 And we're praying for y'all. 14:33 And I know you're doing a lot of traveling, 14:35 and lot of speaking. 14:36 Yeah. 14:37 And our book deadline is Sunday. 14:39 So, yes. 14:40 And now and then y'all are running into engagements 14:42 with Reggie and Ladye I hear around the country. 14:45 So anyway, thank you for being here today. 14:47 Thank you so much for having me. 14:51 Amen. Wow. 14:53 All right. It is Christmas time now. 14:55 It is. That's right. 14:56 And what a joy to have folks up here 14:58 and Yvonne was just saying, 14:59 we got to do this more often, bring some strings next, 15:02 next year there won't be room for probably some of us, 15:04 Yvonne, we'll have a full all of great orchestra here, 15:07 that would be great, but... 15:09 Ah, gorgeous. 15:10 Anyway, we've been having a great time 15:11 so now it's your turn to help us sing, 15:14 O little town of Bethlehem. 15:24 O little town of Bethlehem 15:29 How still we see thee lie! 15:34 Above thy deep 15:37 And dreamless sleep 15:39 The silent stars go by 15:44 Yet in thy dark streets shineth 15:49 The everlasting light 15:54 The hopes and fears of all the years 15:59 Are met in thee tonight 16:42 O holy Child of Bethlehem 16:47 Descend to us, we pray 16:52 Cast out our sin and enter in 16:57 Be born in us today 17:02 We hear the Christmas angels 17:08 The great glad tidings tell 17:13 O come to us, abide with us 17:18 Our Lord Immanuel! 17:27 Amen. 17:35 What Child is this 17:41 Who laid to rest 17:46 On Mary's lap 17:52 Is sleeping 17:57 Whom angels greet 18:03 With anthems sweet 18:08 While shepherds watch 18:13 Are keeping 18:19 This, this is Christ 18:26 The King Whom shepherds guard 18:32 And angels sing 18:37 Haste, 18:39 Haste to bring him laud 18:45 The babe, 18:47 The son of Mary 19:02 So bring Him incense, 19:06 Gold and myrrh 19:10 Come peasant king 19:13 To own him 19:17 The King of kings 19:21 Salvation brings 19:25 Let loving hearts 19:30 Enthrone him 19:35 This, 19:37 This is Christ the King 19:42 Whom shepherds guard 19:46 And angels sing 19:51 Haste, 19:53 Haste to bring him laud 19:59 The babe, 20:01 The son of Mary 20:14 Amen. Wow, that's beautiful. 20:16 Oh, that just took me to another whole place. 20:18 It did. It did. 20:19 Since we're having church, let's just keep going. 20:21 What do you want to do next? 20:23 Maybe you guys could do something, okay? 20:24 Angels we have heard on high. 20:38 Angels we have heard on high 20:46 Sweetly singing 20:49 O'er the plains 20:55 And the mountains in reply 21:03 Echoing their joyous strains 21:14 Gloria, 21:25 In excelsis Deo 21:31 Gloria, 21:41 In excelsis Deo 21:52 Come to Bethlehem and see 22:00 Him whose birth the angels sing 22:08 Come, adore on bended knee 22:16 Christ the Lord, 22:18 The newborn King 22:23 We're singing, yeah 22:26 Gloria, 22:37 In excelsis Deo 22:42 Gloria, 22:53 In excelsis Deo 23:03 And He shall reign 23:06 Forever and ever 23:16 And He shall reign 23:19 Forever and ever 23:23 King of kings 23:28 And lord of lords 23:34 And He shall reign 23:36 Forever and ever 23:44 Gloria, 23:56 In excelsis Deo 24:02 Gloria, 24:12 In excelsis Deo 24:22 And He shall reign 24:24 Forever and ever 24:38 Amen. 24:39 Beautiful. All right. 24:44 I love and He shall reign forevermore. 24:45 Yes. 24:47 And just knowing that it didn't start. 24:50 It started when He was born, 24:51 but then when He came to earth 24:54 to be a redeemer for us all and to give us eternal life, 24:59 that's where the whole story comes full circle, right? 25:02 Amen. 25:04 I love this old song, this old Keith Green song. 25:07 You want to do that just a little? 25:09 Yes, we want to hear you. Such an anointing. 28:55 Now, you guys have just messed up 28:56 all my little makeup here, so beautiful. 29:00 We're worshiping back here. Yes, we are. 29:03 What a blessing. Praise God. 29:06 Brother Tim, what's on your heart today? 29:10 That message is so powerful, 29:13 because we all need redeemed. 29:16 And so there's a song 29:20 that they sing at the beginning of Advent 29:23 that says, O, come O come, Emmanuel. 29:26 And it's the cry 29:28 that before Jesus came, 29:32 the Jews were singing the song. 29:35 And they were crying for their Redeemer to come. 29:39 And so I love that 29:43 God so loved the world 29:44 that He heard their cry. 29:46 He heard our cry and He still hears your cry. 29:51 And He has sent a Redeemer. 29:54 All you have to do is reach out and claim Him as your own 29:58 and He will claim you forever as His own. 30:03 And that's the message of Christmas 30:06 is that since Christ came, 30:10 we are never again without hope. 30:13 And so I like the song. 30:26 Oh the silence, the deafening silence 30:31 When God wasn't speaking a word 30:35 Oh the darkness that hung like a veil 30:40 Of deep hopelessness covering earth 30:45 Till the child's cry breaks into the story 30:50 And Heaven is heard once again 30:55 And a start bright points to a manger 31:00 In Bethlehem 31:04 We're never again without hope 31:09 We have a savior, we're never alone 31:14 Jesus is here 31:16 To make our hearts his home 31:20 Oh, we're never again without hope 31:31 Oh the promise that brought us his presence 31:37 And cannot be stolen away 31:41 Oh the courage the confident peace 31:46 Knowing he walks with us all our days 31:50 What a wonder 31:52 Oh, how great his mercy 31:55 And what an extravagant love 31:59 Come and worship 32:02 behold Emmanuel God with us 32:09 We're never again without hope 32:14 We have a savior, we're never alone 32:18 Jesus is here 32:20 To make our hearts his home 32:25 So we're never again without hope 32:45 We're never again without hope 32:50 We have a savior, 32:53 we're never alone 32:55 Jesus is here to make our hearts his home 33:02 So we're never again 33:07 Never again without hope 33:21 Never again. 33:23 Amen. Beautiful, beautiful. 33:25 Come on up, guys. Wow. 33:28 There's a lot of new songs this year. 33:30 I mean, that we've been the songs 33:32 I haven't heard before 33:34 and some of these are fabulous. 33:35 Yes. It's so beautiful. 33:37 Yvonne, minister to us for a couple of minutes. 33:41 In Isaiah it says, 33:44 "And His name shall be called Wonderful, 33:47 Counselor, the Mighty God, the Everlasting Father, 33:51 the Prince of Peace." 33:54 And in your life right now, you might need a counselor. 33:59 In your life right now you might need some peace, 34:04 you might need some joy. 34:06 And all of that comes from knowing Jesus. 34:10 As I was sitting here listening to you guys, 34:13 it was just such a beautiful experience 34:16 because you can almost picture Jesus being in our midst, 34:20 and us singing to Him and worshiping Him, 34:24 because He's so worthy of worship. 34:27 So if you don't know Jesus today, 34:29 you need to know Him 34:30 because He will change your life, 34:32 I promise you. 34:33 Several years ago, 34:35 when I had walked away from the Lord, 34:38 I needed peace, and I needed joy. 34:41 And I didn't know what I was missing 34:43 until I found Him. 34:46 And then when I found Him, my life changed totally 34:50 and yours can change too. 34:51 If you don't know Him right now, 34:54 please just invite Him to come into your heart. 34:56 He will, He will come into. 34:59 He said, "Behold, I stand at the door and knock. 35:02 If any man hears My voice and opens the door, 35:05 I will come into him and sup with him." 35:08 He's going to hang out with you. 35:11 So please open the door. 35:13 Let Him in. 35:15 And your life will never be the same again. 35:17 Amen. 35:19 Ladye Love, I want you to talk for just a moment. 35:21 Ladye is one of the most caring people 35:24 I've ever met in my entire life. 35:27 Right now I know that there has to be 35:29 because of worldwide audience. 35:31 There's people may be in a hotel room 35:33 by themselves this time of year. 35:35 They're like nobody really cares. 35:37 People may be incarcerated, people in the hospitals, 35:40 nursing homes, 35:41 people that's basically on the streets 35:43 and they feel like I'm all alone, I don't have. 35:46 We have family here. And you all have family. 35:48 But there's people that are watching. 35:50 It's no accident. 35:52 And what could you say to them today, 35:54 look into the camera and just, just talk to the folk? 35:56 Well, just like Yvonne said, Jesus loves you so much. 36:00 And you may feel like 36:02 there is not a soul with you right now. 36:04 And that you're so desperate and alone. 36:06 But you are not alone. 36:08 He said, "I'll never leave you or forsake you. 36:10 I will be with you till the end of time." 36:13 All you have to do like Yvonne said 36:14 is just say, "Jesus, I need you. 36:17 God, I need you. 36:19 I need you in my heart. I need you in my life. 36:21 I've tried to do it myself. 36:23 I've done everything I can 36:24 and I failed pretty miserably at that. 36:27 But I need you to come into my heart." 36:29 And I just think about so many times 36:31 and there's a song that it reminds me of 36:35 that you don't really have to do anything, 36:38 He says, "I will be your Lord of life, 36:41 the Lord of your life. 36:42 All you have to do is want Me and ask Me. 36:46 He says, "I'm not gonna make you do anything 36:48 you don't want to do, I'm not gonna force you." 36:50 You have freewill, 36:52 but all you have to do is call in His name. 36:54 And there's a little song he says, it says, 36:58 softly and tenderly. 36:59 Okay, come on. 37:01 Softly and tenderly 37:06 Jesus is calling 37:11 Calling for you 37:15 And for me 37:20 And see on the portals 37:25 He's waiting and watching 37:31 Calling, O sinner 37:35 Come home 37:38 Sing, Yvonne. Tim, let sing it. 37:41 Come home, 37:46 come home 37:52 You who are weary 37:56 Come home 38:02 Earnestly, tenderly, 38:07 Jesus is calling 38:12 Calling, O sinner, 38:18 Come home 38:25 Reggie, there's folks out here that are busy, maybe too busy. 38:29 They're overwhelmed by things in their life right now. 38:34 I love to have a relationship with Jesus. 38:37 I love to go to church, but I'm too busy. 38:40 Now you're one of the busiest people 38:42 that I know. 38:43 Singing with a vocal band 38:45 and you guys are recording for everybody 38:47 and producing records and doing studio work. 38:52 How do you put all that together 38:54 to make time for Jesus? 38:55 It's not on me, Danny, 38:58 'cause I can run out real quickly, really quickly. 39:01 I know I have a lot of energy and I can go. 39:03 But he does, he does. 39:05 I do, but you know what? 39:07 At the end of that rope that we all have, 39:10 don't we all have end of the rope. 39:13 I need the Lord, 39:15 and He is the hope that Tim was singing about 39:18 in the song, He is my hope. 39:20 He's my hope for me personally, individually. 39:23 He's the hope for my family. 39:26 He's a hope for my friends. 39:28 He's a hope for our ministry. 39:31 And so that's why this season to me, 39:34 it's just always a new restart, and He is our energy. 39:39 He's our energy. 39:41 I mean, how can I have energy when... 39:43 Danny, we're on the winning side. 39:45 That's right. We win. 39:47 We win, we win. 39:48 So that's how I think that you, we all run out of... 39:54 We run out of energy, 39:55 we run out of steam at the end of the day, 39:58 we get tired. 39:59 You know, we have our children 40:01 that we're dealing with every day, 40:02 not dealing with, that sounds like a bad word. 40:04 But you know trying to help them grow 40:06 and trying to nurture them 40:09 and trying to show them 40:11 the way and they make mistakes as we do every day, 40:15 but my goodness that's why we all need the Lord, 40:17 old, middle and young, we all need the Lord 40:20 and I tell you, He is our source of energy. 40:24 They keep talking about He and Jesus this and Jesus that 40:29 and the hope and all these things 40:31 that almost makes me 40:32 want to hear you sing a little bit 40:34 if Tim would play it for you something about that name. 40:36 This is a Christmas song year round to me. 40:40 Maybe give us a key and we'll sing with them. 40:43 All of you at home sing with us. 40:48 Jesus, Jesus, 40:53 Oh, Jesus 40:58 There's just something 41:01 About 41:04 That name 41:09 Master, Savior, 41:15 Jesus 41:19 Like a fragrance 41:23 After 41:25 The rain 41:30 Jesus, oh, Jesus, 41:35 Jesus 41:40 Let all heaven and earth 41:45 Proclaim 41:51 Kings and kingdoms 41:56 Will all pass away 42:01 But there's something 42:05 About that name 42:10 For He's the great shepherd. 42:14 For He's the great Shepherd 42:19 The Rock of all ages 42:24 Almighty God 42:28 Is He 42:34 Bow down before Him 42:39 Love and adore Him 42:45 His name is wonderful 42:51 Jesus my Lord 42:58 Jesus, Jesus, 43:04 oh, Jesus 43:09 There's just something 43:13 About 43:15 His name 43:20 He's our Master, Savior, 43:26 Jesus 43:31 Like a fragrance 43:34 after the rain 43:41 Oh, Jesus, 43:45 Jesus, Jesus 43:52 Let all heaven and earth 43:57 Proclaim 44:03 Kings and kingdoms 44:08 Will all pass away 44:13 But there's something 44:17 About 44:20 That name 44:25 Don't you love it 44:26 when the Holy Spirit takes over? 44:28 Yes. 44:30 And you're doing things you didn't plan. 44:33 So you know that the Lord is doing it. 44:35 You know why? 44:37 Because it's uplifting the name of Jesus. 44:40 You can't go wrong with that. 44:41 So I'd like to encourage you today. 44:44 Each and every one of you, you've heard the testimony, 44:46 we all have things in our life. 44:48 But today is the day of salvation. 44:50 When you look around us and you see what is happening, 44:54 all you have to do is turn on the news, 44:55 and I don't care what channel you turn it on, 44:58 it makes you just want to run and jump off a bridge, right? 45:01 If you didn't have Jesus in your life, 45:03 and that's why so many people are literally, 45:06 literally people taking their lives. 45:08 All kinds of things are happening around us, 45:10 not just COVID, 45:11 but all the things that are coming. 45:13 And it's just amazing 45:14 how mixed up right seems wrong and wrong seems right. 45:19 And how do any of us know anything, 45:21 because there's so much media around 45:23 and it's deceiving our minds. 45:25 The only thing we can do is stick to the Word of God. 45:28 We have to read the Bible, trust Jesus, 45:31 because everything else will fail. 45:34 There is nothing on this earth that will last. 45:38 Nothing that will last, everything here is temporary. 45:41 My Dad used to say it's temporal. 45:43 He says temporal, this is just temporal. 45:45 So everything in this life is just temporal. 45:48 And so it's going to end. 45:50 And so where are we going to be? 45:52 I mentioned it before, 45:53 we're going to be able to look up and say, 45:55 "Lo, this is our God whom we've waited for, 45:57 He's come to save us, 45:58 or we going to be running into the rocks and mountains. 46:01 What are you going to do? Today is the day of salvation. 46:04 I'm so thankful to have the opportunity 46:07 to be a Christian in the closing moments 46:09 of earth's history. 46:10 There's nothing like it. 46:12 Someone I just talked to yesterday, 46:13 99 years old said 46:15 that he had been watching 3ABN since you started. 46:19 I've never seen you happier than you are now. 46:22 She said, "I've never seen you happy. 46:23 You just seem to be so happy." 46:25 I said, "I am. I am." 46:27 Have Jesus, have Yvonne, have you guys, 46:30 have you at home, our family, our kids, our grandkids, 46:33 great grandson now. 46:34 I mean, we've read the back of the book, 46:37 we say it over and over, but I can't say it enough. 46:40 Daniel and Revelation, 46:42 when you look to the prophecies, 46:44 Revelation says and the last book, 46:47 "And they overcame him, Satan, 46:49 by the blood of the Lamb and the word 46:51 of their testimony." 46:52 So what do we have to fear? 46:54 What do we have to be afraid of? 46:56 You're going to go through storms, 46:57 we go through storms. 46:59 But guess what? 47:00 You're going to have peace in the midst of the storm. 47:03 I can't believe our time is almost gone, Ladye Love. 47:05 You know what? 47:07 From the beginning to the end, 47:09 because He lives I can face tomorrow. 47:11 Oh, I love it. 47:13 From the beginning of this show, 47:14 from the beginning of time. 47:15 That's true. Because He lives. 47:17 Because He lives, isn't that something? 47:18 That's right. That's amazing. 47:21 I think she's wanting us to do that again 47:23 because he says. 47:24 Here was a clue. 47:26 God Sent His Son 47:29 Thank you. 47:31 They called Him Jesus 47:36 He came to love, 47:41 Heal and forgive 47:47 He lived and died 47:53 To buy my pardon 47:59 An empty grave 48:03 Is there to prove 48:06 My Savior lives 48:13 And because 48:15 He lives 48:20 I can face tomorrow 48:26 Because He lives 48:32 All fear is gone 48:38 Because I know 48:45 He holds the future 48:50 And life is worth the living 48:56 just because 48:59 He lives 49:04 Yvonne... 49:05 Because He lives 49:11 Because He lives 49:19 Because He lives 49:29 Okay. All right. 49:31 Why don't we have our prayer? 49:32 That's about all the time we have. 49:33 Would you say a prayer for us? Sure. 49:35 Lord, what a rich day this has been. 49:38 Thank You so much for being in our midst, 49:40 the mighty one, 49:41 the one who will rejoice over us 49:44 with gladness one day. 49:46 Lord, we just thank You and we just pray 49:48 that You will be with our viewers now, 49:50 continue to bless them 49:51 and be with us, Lord. 49:53 Continue to be with us, guide us, direct us, lead us, 49:55 Lord, and help us one day to stand at the tree of life 49:59 and to sing before Your throne praises to You. 50:03 We thank You and bless Your name 50:05 in Jesus' name. 50:06 Amen. Amen. 50:08 Well, all I've got to say 50:10 is because He lives I can face tomorrow. 50:12 Let's do that chorus again. 50:13 We're just gonna go out sing 50:15 and we want you to sing with us. 50:17 Because He lives 50:22 I can face tomorrow 50:27 Because He lives 50:33 All fear is gone 50:38 Because I know 50:44 He holds the future 50:49 And life is worth the living 50:54 Just because He lives |
