And can you imagine the prayers of Mary and 03:33 Joseph when they saw the shepherds and the wise men 03:35 visiting them. Does anyone have that one item that you seem to 11:55 always lose all the time. It could be your glasses, your 12:00 hoodie, clothes or most commonly your phone. And when people ask 12:06 you well where did you last put it? You get even more mad 12:09 because if you knew where you last put it you would have that 12:12 object. Well my item that I always seem to lose are my air 12:17 pods. And if you don't don't know what air pods are they're 12:20 wireless head phones designed by the company Apple which you 12:23 probably know. But let me tell you about the first time I got 12:27 air pods. The first time I got air plods I loved them. I got 12:32 them for Christmas as we are in right now and I was so excited 12:36 to use them. So I used them, I used them, I started using them 12:39 during school and after school and then one day I'm like okay 12:44 let me put my ear pods in but I'm not with them. I lost my air 12:49 pods. And so I decided, Oh no what am I going to do? And I 12:52 have this guilty feeling because of course I'm not the one who 12:56 paid for them; my parents paid for them and it would be pretty 13:00 rude to tell them that I lost the thing they paid for me. 13:02 So I decided, I'm going to look for them and search for them 13:06 everywhere in my house and soon I'm figuring out that I can't 13:11 find them. And so I decided, you know what I'm going to pray. So 13:15 I decide to pray. I decide to ask God, Lord please help me be 13:20 able to find my air pods. You know how expensive they were. 13:23 And so I opened my eyes after I prayed and then I had an idea. 13:28 I should check the car because what if they fell out of my 13:31 pocket while I was inside driving home. So I go inside the 13:35 car, I look for it and it's not there. And, of course, I start 13:40 to cry. And as soon as I walk into my bedroom that's where I 13:46 see my air pods on the night stand where they always are. 13:51 After spending 30 minutes looking for these air pods and 13:55 crying because I couldn't find them they were right there 13:59 where they always were. You know what this reminds me of? This 14:03 reminds me of God. Sometimes we feel like we lost Him kind of. 14:08 We look everywhere and we start to cry because we feel God is 14:12 not with us and He's not present and every time we look somewhere 14:16 we think that we're so close to finding Him and then He's not 14:21 there. Just like how I had searched everywhere and thought 14:24 I would find my air pods in the car. But they were not there. 14:27 But guess what. Soon we find out that God is where He always was 14:35 and always is. And guess where He always is. He always is with 14:41 us through prayer. Whenever we need to find God we can just 14:46 pray. And sometimes we feel like we can't find Him anywhere but 14:50 that's just because we're looking in all of the wrong 14:54 places. I have this verse for you, a promise for you that God 14:59 is always with you through prayer and that you can find Him 15:03 by just praying to Him. It is found in Matthew 7 verse 7. 15:08 Let's read it. It says: Keep on asking and you will receive what 15:13 you ask for. Keep on seeking and you will find. Keep on knocking 15:19 and the door will be opened to you. Sometimes, or maybe it 15:24 feels like all the time we can't find God in all of our trials. 15:29 Or maybe we can't find anyone in all of our trials. But I want 15:34 to leave you today with this message that God is always there 15:38 whenever you need a friend. You just got to pray. 15:43 Thank you, Logan. Aren't you glad God can be our very best 15:47 friend who's always there. He's only a prayer away. Is there a 15:52 special prayer that you have this Christmas. Bring it to 15:56 Jesus.
