And how they know? 06:42 Any how you know? Hopefully all of you. 06:44 He lives within our heart. 06:45 So today, what a blessing, what a privilege 06:48 to be able to give honor and glory and praise 06:51 to the Lord, that the plan of salvation is just amazing. 06:55 If it were me, in our humanness, we see people acting up, 06:58 you'd say, "Okay, they're done. That's it. 07:01 You know, we'll just get rid of them and recreate new ones." 07:05 But not God and His love. 07:06 That's why we will never understand the love of God 07:09 on this earth, but soon and very soon. 07:13 When we get to heaven, can you imagine, then the Bible says 07:16 we'll see Him face to face. 07:18 So today we want you to worship with us. 07:20 We're worshiping Christ the Lord. 07:22 And I'm so thankful we have each and every one of you here. 07:25 Reggie, why don't you do the introductions today 07:27 of our singers here? 07:29 Oh my word. 07:31 I want to start over here on the piano. 07:33 The amazing, unbelievably, talented Tim Parton. 07:38 I just want to be called your friend. 07:40 That's all I care. And you didn't say that. 07:42 And you know what? We are friends. 07:43 And we talk on the phone all the time. 07:45 - That was understood. - We are friends. 07:46 And you know what? I like your sweater. 07:48 ~ Well thank you. - That's a nice sweater. 07:49 I didn't know it was sweater day. 07:51 - And you're a good person. - It's chilly outside. 07:53 So I kind of dressed for the occasion. 07:54 ~ It's wonderful, yeah. 07:56 So Tim Parton on the piano. 07:57 We're so grateful always to be together with you, 07:59 whether we're on the road together, 08:01 or right here at home at 3ABN. 08:03 And then over here on the right we have the incomparable, 08:06 this guy right here I think not just a base singer. 08:09 I don't look at Gene as, you know, a great base singer. 08:12 A lot of people say, "Gene is one of the greatest 08:14 base singers on the planet." 08:15 I don't say that. 08:17 I think Gene is one of the greatest singer on the planet. 08:19 To me, to me. 08:21 ~ He's got a range he can sing whatever you want him to sing. 08:25 ~ So we're on the road with the Gathers all the time. 08:28 And another thing a lot of you don't know, 08:29 Gene sings the three hour concerts with us, 08:34 and also he drives all night long to get us to the 08:37 next venue, on the bus. 08:38 He drives the bus. 08:40 So yeah, and so a man of many talents, for sure. 08:43 So Gene is a dear friend of all of ours and definitely my buddy. 08:47 Matter of fact, side story. I'm sorry, I'm chasing rabbits. 08:50 Matter of fact, Gene actually met Ladye Love 08:53 before I met Ladye Love. 08:56 I'm going to make this clean and quick, 08:58 but when he was in the Arkansas State University 09:02 Ladye Love was at the University of Mississippi. 09:04 Maybe a couple more universities together. 09:07 But they came together for a big choral collection in New York 09:10 at Avery Fisher Hall at Lincoln Center to do this 09:14 massive wonderful concert together. 09:17 And I'm leaving out most of the story. 09:20 But afterwards, all the group came together 09:23 and they met each other and talked, you know. 09:24 They sang together pretty much 09:26 not knowing each other very well. 09:28 And then afterwards, he came up to Ladye Love and 09:30 he said, "My goodness," he said, "you are a 09:33 pretty little thing, aren't you." 09:36 You know, they were having fun, 09:38 and he's a jokester just like me. 09:40 Fast forward years later, we're in the studio... 09:44 Years later in the studio, and we're working together, 09:47 he hadn't seen Ladye Love that day, and he said, 09:49 "Reggie, I used to know a girl, her name was Joy Love, 09:54 Love Joy, something like that." 09:56 And I turned and I said, "Hey, Ladye Love, come here." 09:58 He said, "Oh shoot, that's her." 10:02 He said, "I almost asked her to marry me way back then." 10:05 Thought she was the cutest thing. 10:06 So we just have become great friends. 10:08 - Thank you for that. - Dear brother. 10:10 You know, alright I'm going to go fast. 10:12 I'm taking too much time. 10:13 But Ladye Love, this is my wife of 28 years, 10:17 and my soul mate, and mother to our one child, 10:22 Brett Reese Claybourn Smith, that's 21 years old. 10:25 Enough of that, okay. 10:27 Melody, okay. 10:29 So Melody, one of the most beautiful voices. 10:32 I'm listening to you, I've got this ear open so I can hear, 10:35 but just a beautiful Karen Carpenter, easy beautiful voice. 10:40 And it's just beautiful and warm. 10:43 And I know Ladye wanted to say something. 10:44 And she just has a beautiful heart. 10:46 And has been through so many things in your life 10:48 and you still sing for Jesus, and have the love in your heart. 10:51 And you love to ride with Reggie and me in the car. 10:54 You love... She doesn't. 11:00 That's another story for another time. 11:01 That's another day. 11:02 But Melody, but your story and everything is something that 11:05 Ladye Love, it's a big deal to us to know your story, 11:09 your whole story with your mother when you were a child, 11:12 and coming through all that. 11:14 And then singing right after that at such a young age. 11:18 Just a little girl singing and carrying that on. 11:21 And now you have a bunch of children. 11:24 - Eight. - Eight is enough, right? 11:26 - And one grandson. - And a grandson. 11:28 Little Danny, right? 11:29 Is he here with us? 11:31 ~ He may be, yeah. 11:32 ~ We'll get him, not this program, on another one. 11:35 Okay, but Melody, it's always an honor 11:37 to get to sing with you for sure. 11:39 Okay, and the next singer... 11:41 I'm sorry this is taking so long. 11:42 Yvonne, okay. 11:44 So, well we met in the studio. 11:47 Danny brought us to sing on a session 11:50 and someone else brought her in. 11:51 And we were both each a little bit leery of the other 11:54 because we hadn't worked together. 11:55 And studio is a different thing. 11:57 ~ Not leery as a person, just vocally and technically. 12:00 And it's time. Time is money. 12:02 - We'd never sang together. - We'd never met. 12:04 Little did we know all the things that this lady had 12:07 sung on, the world class things 12:09 all over the world that we had all heard. 12:11 And it's just amazing with all these people: 12:13 Whitney Houston and all these people. 12:14 You know, we were these little country bumpkins 12:16 coming up from Nashville, you know. 12:18 But we came in, and the first time we went, 12:21 ooh, ooh, ooh... 12:26 ~ We went to singing. 12:27 And we did that one time, and we went, 12:29 "Oh, this is great." 12:31 And so, Danny, he leaned, I could see him through the 12:33 wall over there, he said... 12:36 And we went, "Yes it's great." 12:39 So we became fast friends and loved her from 12:41 the moment we saw her. 12:43 ~ So Yvonne, it's always a pleasure... 12:44 It's an honor. 12:46 ...to be with you, and actually getting to travel 12:47 with you and Danny. 12:49 Now you see why I asked Reggie to introduce. 12:51 That's much better than I would have done. 12:53 Much more detailed. Great job. 12:56 Tim says he shaved twice during that. 13:00 Well, I tell you what we're going to do. 13:01 Now you can see, folks, we like to have a lot of fun here. 13:05 We think Christians should be the happiest, most excited 13:08 people on the planet. 13:09 Don't you? 13:10 Speaking of that, and he gave you a great big build-up, 13:13 big Gene, we call him. 13:15 So maybe you could sing for us right now, okay. 13:24 What Child is this who laid to rest 13:31 on Mary's lap is sleeping? 13:37 Whom angels greet with anthems sweet 13:43 while shepherds watch are keeping? 13:50 This, this is Christ the King 13:55 whom shepherds guard and angels sing. 14:02 Haste, haste to bring Him laud, 14:08 the Babe, the Son of Mary. 14:17 So bring Him incense, gold, and myrrh; 14:24 come peasant, king, to own Him. 14:30 The King of kings salvation brings; 14:35 let loving hearts enthrone Him. 14:42 This, this is Christ the King 14:47 whom shepherds guard and angels sing. 14:54 Haste, haste to bring Him laud, 15:00 the Babe, the Son of Mary. 15:09 O raise, raise the song on high; 15:15 His mother sings a lullaby. 15:21 Joy, O joy, for Christ is born, 15:27 the Babe, the Son of Mary. 15:34 This, this is Christ the King 15:40 whom shepherds guard and angels sing. 15:47 Haste, haste to bring Him laud, 15:53 the Babe, the Son of Mary. 16:27 When Christ was born, 16:31 the angels sang His praise. 16:39 Into a world of sin this Savior came. 16:51 Sent from a loving Father up above, 17:03 He came to show 17:07 just what it means to love. 17:16 He came to earth 17:21 a promise to fulfill. 17:28 A rugged cross He bore on Calvary's hill. 17:40 And for my sin 17:44 He cried, "Father, please forgive." 17:52 Born to die that I might live. 18:04 Born to die; a cruel cross to bear. 18:16 Born to die that I, His love, may share. 18:28 Born to die; His precious life to give. 18:40 Born to die that I might live. 18:53 Born to die; a cruel cross to bear. 19:05 Born to die that I, His love, may share. 19:17 Born to die; His precious life to give. 19:29 Born to die that I might live. 19:41 Born to die 19:46 that I might live. 20:03 Amen. 20:04 Beautiful. Absolutely beautiful. 20:30 I have traveled many moonless nights, 20:39 cold and weary with a Babe inside. 20:47 And I wonder what I've done, 20:56 Holy Father, You have come 21:03 and chosen me now to carry Your Son. 21:19 I am waiting in a silent prayer, 21:28 I am frightened by the load I bear. 21:37 In a world as cold as stone 21:45 must I walk this path alone? 21:52 Be with me now, be with me now. 22:03 Breath of heaven, hold me together. 22:11 Be forever near me, breath of heaven. 22:20 Breath of heaven, lighten my darkness. 22:27 Pour over me Your holiness, 22:31 for You are holy, 22:38 breath of heaven. 22:48 Do You wonder as You watch my face 22:57 if a wiser one should have had my place? 23:06 But I offer all I am 23:14 for the mercy of Your plan. 23:21 Help me be strong, help me be. 23:30 Help me. 23:37 Breath of heaven, hold me together. 23:45 Be forever near me, breath of heaven. 23:53 Breath of heaven, lighten my darkness. 24:01 Pour over me Your holiness, 24:05 for You are holy. 24:13 Breath of heaven, hold me together. 24:20 Be forever near me, breath of heaven. 24:28 Breath of heaven, lighten my darkness. 24:36 Pour over me Your holiness, 24:40 for You are holy, 24:47 breath of heaven. 24:54 Breath of heaven. 25:01 Breath of heaven. 25:11 ~ Amen. 25:12 ~ Beautiful. Thank you, Melody. 25:23 I love that. 25:25 Thinking of Mary singing that song, 25:34 it just reminds me 25:39 she saw herself as unworthy, clearly. 25:44 Can't imagine why she had been chosen 25:51 to bear this Son that would redeem the world of sins. 25:59 Because we don't have the mind of God to know 26:05 why He does the things He does. 26:09 The Bible says that for a good man someone might die. 26:18 But really, is there any reason for a bad man 26:24 that a man would die? 26:26 No. That doesn't make sense. 26:28 But for you and I, God sent His Son to die. 26:35 And when I think of that, and think that I am the reason, 26:41 you are the reason that God sent His Son, 26:47 it's more than I can fathom. 26:51 For what earthly reason 26:55 would the heavenly Father send down His Son 27:02 to suffer rejection 27:05 and pay for crimes that He had not done? 27:13 For what earthly reason 27:17 would the Father let Him hang on a tree? 27:25 I wept with the answer; 27:29 that one earthly reason was me. 27:38 I was the reason, 27:45 that one earthly reason. 27:53 I was the guilty, 28:00 He was the sacrifice. 28:07 I was the taker, 28:14 He was the giver; 28:21 dying while I go free. 28:29 That one earthly reason was me. 28:40 The fairest of angels were not summoned 28:46 from the throne in the sky. 28:51 To purchase my pardon 28:55 not even the angels could die. 29:02 The only provision for my freedom 29:07 was destined to be 29:12 the sweet Lamb of glory. 29:16 And His only reason was me. 29:26 I was the reason, 29:33 that one earthly reason. 29:40 I was the guilty, 29:47 He was the sacrifice. 29:54 I was the taker, 30:02 He was the giver; 30:09 dying while I go free. 30:16 That one earthly reason was me. 30:28 That one earthly reason was me. 30:40 ~ Amen. 30:42 Tim, if you don't mind, why don't you do that 30:44 chorus that folks at home know, and we'll all just... 30:46 You all have got your microphones. 30:47 I heard a lot of harmony going back here. 30:50 I'm sure you can relate to that. 30:52 So sing, "I was the reason..." 30:53 I was the reason, 31:00 that one earthly reason. 31:08 I was the guilty, 31:13 He was the sacrifice. 31:22 I was the taker, 31:29 He was the giver; 31:39 dying while I go free. 31:47 That one earthly reason, 31:51 yes, that one earthly reason was me. 32:03 Amen. What a beautiful song. 32:05 Great job, Tim. 32:09 We've got to hear him play a solo, right? 32:12 We've got to hear Tim. 32:13 Don't even think about sitting down or backing up. 32:16 We've got to hear you play. 32:18 I was going to go out and play in the snow. 32:21 ~ What do you have? Do you have a request? 32:23 No, no. Whatever pops into mind. 32:26 Okay. Other than that one. 32:31 ~ Music ~ 33:44 ~ Okay. ~ Danny, by the way... 33:47 You know, don't you love working with these professionals? 33:51 Now the little secret, if I can say it, 33:54 it will no longer be a secret, 33:56 but like that first song, Reggie and Ladye, they were singing, 34:00 and they had never heard the song, they said, 34:02 until Tim, you said, "I need you guys to sing this." 34:05 This was just minutes before we went on the air. 34:09 And they're like, "What?" 34:10 So he was... And that's a tough song. 34:12 I don't know if I could sing it after hearing it for a year. 34:15 That was a tough one. And they were... 34:16 And the thing about it is they couldn't sing it 34:18 right now if you asked them to. 34:20 ~ No, that's probably true. - Because we learned it... 34:21 What song are we talking about? 34:22 I'm not sure which we're talking about. 34:24 But the nice thing is that we're musicians and we're musical, 34:29 and that's the gift that we give to each other, 34:31 is to spring each other... 34:34 ~ Then they loved the song after you taught them. 34:35 They said, "Well, we didn't know that one." 34:37 And it's very difficult. 34:38 And then you have the interludes in between. 34:41 I was sitting there, I don't know about you, Melody, 34:43 and of course you, Gene, you see him every day, Yvonne, 34:45 but I was like, "Did they just do that? 34:48 And they don't really know this song?" 34:49 It's amazing. 34:51 I think, Gene, he kind of threw one in on you too, didn't he? 34:56 I swore him to secrecy. 34:58 Probably not the best time to say that, 34:59 because the next song I've never been over. 35:03 And we might not do so great. 35:04 But I need to say something about Tim. 35:06 He threw a special chord at the end of the last song. 35:08 I know what it is. 35:10 - What is it called. - Picardy third. 35:11 That's right, that's right. 35:13 ~ And I didn't even know I was going to 35:14 do it until the last minute. 35:15 - Right. - The last second. 35:17 Alright, well speaking of that, y'all are going to sing for us. 35:20 I think this is the perfect time for Reggie and Ladye. 35:22 I love Reggie and Ladye. 35:24 I love their spontaneity. 35:25 I love their ability to always do things with excellence. 35:29 I'm grateful. I'm not setting you up. 35:32 You've got this. 35:42 Said the night wind to the little lamb, 35:48 "Do you see what I see? 35:54 Way up in the sky, little lamb, 35:58 do you see what I see? 36:03 A star, a star, dancing in the night 36:08 with a tail as big as a kite. 36:13 With a tail as big as a kite." 36:21 Said the little lamb to the shepherd boy, 36:26 "Do you hear what I hear? 36:32 Ringing through the sky, shepherd boy, 36:36 do you hear what I hear? 36:42 A song, a song, high above the trees 36:46 with a voice as big as the sea. 36:52 With a voice as big as the sea." 37:04 Said the shepherd boy to the mighty king, 37:10 "Do you know what I know? 37:15 In your palace warm, might king. 37:20 Do you know what I know? 37:25 A Child, a Child, shivers in the cold. 37:30 Let us bring Him silver and gold. 37:35 Let us bring Him silver and gold." 37:41 A Child, a Child, sleeping in the night; 37:45 He will bring us goodness and light. 37:50 He will bring us goodness and light. 38:03 And light. 38:10 Alright. Amen. 38:12 Well, there you go. 38:14 That was beautiful. Knew it. 38:16 Arrangement on the fly. 38:17 So, Tim, we have another song that we would love to share. 38:22 This is kind of a new one. 38:23 It's a new one for you. 38:26 And I don't remember what key we're going to do it in. 38:27 What key do you want to play in? 38:29 - G-flat sounds good. - Let's try G-flat. 38:31 To me that's an F-sharp. 38:32 - F-sharp it is. - Okay, F-sharp. 38:34 - That's good. - Just move my tempo. 38:36 Hey, I want to invite Gene and Melody, if you would like. 38:39 Of course, Yvonne. 38:41 And Danny, if you're ready, come on and join us. 38:43 And Melody. 38:45 Oh, you've got... 38:46 You're sitting this one out, okay. 38:49 We'll move down this way a little bit. 38:50 Okay, come on around, guys. 38:52 A little this way. 39:00 They didn't own a house; 39:05 no crib, no toys were waiting. 39:10 Still, they had their love 39:14 for the Child they were anticipating. 39:20 He was born one winter night 39:25 on a road between two towns. 39:30 They wrapped Him up so warm and tight, 39:34 and said, "It looks like heaven's come down." 39:39 There was a new star shining 39:44 in the sky up above. 39:49 By His light that winter night 39:54 they found peace and perfect love. 40:00 If we want to find it, 40:04 I know we always will. 40:10 For that new star is shining for us still. 40:25 They worried how to feed Him; 40:30 simple trade was all they knew. 40:34 It was hard enough to make ends meet 40:39 when they were only two. 40:44 But the cold, and the dark, and the hunger 40:49 couldn't take away their joy. 40:54 And she knew that they would find a way 40:58 for that precious baby boy. 41:03 There was a new star shining 41:08 in the sky up above. 41:12 By His light that winter night 41:18 they found peace and perfect love. 41:23 If we want to find it, 41:28 I know we always will. 41:33 For that new star is shining for us still. 41:42 And if we want to find it, 41:47 I know we always will. 41:55 For that new star is shining for us still. 42:16 I'm so happy that new star is still shining for us still. 42:21 We need a star, don't we, in these days. 42:23 We need to see that star sometimes. 42:24 The world is trying to take that star away. 42:27 Trying to diminish it. 42:29 Snipe it out, stuff it out. Can't get the word out. 42:31 Snuff it out. 42:33 He wants us to not remember that star. 42:35 He doesn't want anyone to hear it. 42:37 But thanks to 3ABN, and thanks to people who still 42:40 profess His love, that star is still shining. 42:45 And we've got to keep it shining. 42:47 ~ Amen. Thank you. 42:49 You got another one, Reggie? 42:50 Sure. You know, Ladye Love, you were saying 42:53 the dark of the night, and that was a dark night, probably. 42:58 You know, but that star was shining bright. 43:00 And just that one star lit the whole sky up. 43:04 You know, so. 43:08 Let's try, Sweet Little Jesus Boy. 43:11 We'll try that key. 43:16 Sweet little Jesus boy, 43:24 they made You be born in a manger. 43:33 Sweet little Holy Child, 43:42 we didn't know who You were. 43:50 Didn't know You'd come to save us, Lord, 43:57 to take our sins away. 44:04 Our eyes were blind, we could not see. 44:15 And we didn't know who You were. 44:29 Long time ago 44:36 You were born. 44:43 Born in a manger, Lord, 44:51 sweet little Jesus boy. 44:57 The world treats me mean, Lord. 45:04 Treats You mean too. 45:09 But please forgive us, 45:19 Lord, because we didn't know 45:27 that it was You. 45:33 Sweet little Jesus boy, 45:41 born long ago. 45:50 Sweet little Holy Child, 45:59 and we didn't know who You were. 46:09 You sweet little Jesus boy. 46:31 Amen. Beautiful. 46:33 Absolutely. Thank you so much. 46:36 I'd hate to hear what they sound like if they practiced 46:39 and knew the songs. 46:40 Wouldn't you? 46:45 Yvonne, what's on your heart today? 46:48 You know, it's something when we sense the Spirit of God, 46:53 there's something so intimate about His presence. 46:56 I think we should sing, 46:58 There's a Sweet, Sweet Spirit In This Place. 47:02 Let's sing that. 47:07 There's a sweet, sweet Spirit 47:13 in this place, 47:20 and I know that it's the Spirit of the Lord. 47:34 There are sweet expressions 47:40 on each face, 47:47 and I know that it's the presence of the Lord. 48:02 Sweet Holy Spirit, 48:09 sweet heavenly dove, 48:16 stay right here with us, 48:23 filling us with Your love. 48:31 And for these blessings 48:38 we lift our hearts in praise. 48:45 Without a doubt we'll know that we have been revived 48:54 when we shall leave 49:01 this place. 49:12 ~ Sweet, sweet Spirit in this place. 49:14 I hope you at home, you have felt the anointing of the 49:18 Holy Spirit like we have here. 49:20 It's been amazing to me. 49:21 I always love it when we can get around the piano. 49:24 Thank you, Tim, for... 49:26 This guy really is, and we give honor and praise 49:29 and glory to God, but thankful that He gives talent 49:33 to people like Tim, and all of you here. 49:36 But we feel such an incredible anointing of the Holy Spirit. 49:40 So today I think it would be a good time to make an appeal. 49:45 Now we won't take up an offering, 49:48 we won't take up an offering, but we'll make an appeal today. 49:51 It's our hope and prayer that you have given your heart 49:54 and your life to the Lord Jesus Christ. 49:57 The devil is out like a roaring lion 49:58 seeking whom he may devour. 50:01 John 10:10 says he's out to "steal, kill, and destroy." 50:05 But I found out some years ago 50:08 that the devil can't really deceive us. 50:09 Being deceived is a choice. 50:12 So if we want the truth, all we have to do is 50:14 look for the truth and say, "Lord, show me 50:16 what You would have me to do." 50:18 And there's a plan. 50:20 And it's what we've been talking about and singing about 50:23 this whole program. 50:24 It's a plan called, the plan of salvation. 50:26 It's when the Godhead said, "We've got to do something. 50:29 We love man enough We're not going to just destroy him. 50:32 We don't want robots. 50:33 We want people that literally can live their lives 50:39 with the laws of life." 50:41 Now if that makes any sense to you, Jesus says, 50:44 "I am the way, the truth, and the life." 50:46 And the light. 50:48 So this is the way it is, and walk ye in it. 50:50 So for us it's like, but can we really do that? 50:53 We're frail human beings. 50:55 I mean, I have trouble all the time. 50:57 How do we do this? 50:59 But the Lord knew. 51:01 So God gave His only begotten Son, John 3:16, as you know it. 51:06 And He came down to this earth and said, "You know what? 51:09 Father, I know that they're human, they can't be perfect. 51:12 But if they'll come through Me, I'm going to shed My blood 51:18 for each and every person. 51:21 Even if there were one person, I'm going to give My life 51:24 as an atonement for those sins." 51:27 This way, the veil between us and God is suddenly gone 51:31 because we go through Jesus. 51:33 Now we can enter into the throne room with the Father. 51:38 I mean, have mercy. Think about that. 51:41 We literally can do that. 51:43 Not of our own, not of our own, 51:46 but through the great plan of salvation. 51:49 That's what we've been singing about today. 51:51 That's what we've been talking about. 51:53 All we have to do is submit and commit our lives 51:58 to the Lord Jesus Christ. 52:00 And we say, "Lord, I'm a sinner." 52:02 Because the Bible says we're all sinners. 52:04 But we're all sinners saved by grace. 52:07 So if we confess our sins, knowing that we're all sinners, 52:11 and we're sorry for our sins and we repent of those sins, 52:15 Jesus says in 1 John 1:9, "If you confess your sins," 52:20 what's going to happen? 52:22 He's what? 52:23 "He's faithful and just..." Hear that word, "just." 52:27 That's why we're not doing the judging. 52:29 "God is faithful and just to forgive us from our sins," 52:34 and cleanse us from some unrighteousness. 52:37 Yvonne's on it right here. I can't fool her, she's with it. 52:41 "...and cleanse us from all unrighteousness." 52:43 So today that's the gift that you can have this very day. 52:48 We don't worry about all the earthly presents 52:50 and all the things around us, 52:51 because those really don't mean anything. 52:54 But the greatest gift, and the only gift, 52:57 is the gift of God giving His only Son, 53:00 and Jesus being willing to come to this earth and suffer. 53:04 And He knew it. 53:06 Being God almighty, He knew in advance 53:08 that He would be rejected by much of the world. 53:11 But He said, "That's okay. 53:12 That's alright. It's worth it. 53:14 Because if just one is willing to trust in Me, 53:18 just one, I'll give My life for that." 53:21 I mean, that is an amazing, amazing sacrifice. 53:26 The love of God, how rich and pure. 53:28 Do you know that song? 53:30 Wish we could sing that right now. 53:31 But go ahead Ladye Love. 53:32 ~ I was just going to say what you're saying, 53:34 that people all over the world are seeking. 53:37 They're seeking to find wholeness and peace, 53:40 and something to make them feel like everything is okay, 53:43 and that they're loved. 53:44 And they're looking through all so many other places 53:48 to find it, to look for Him. 53:50 And they don't know it's so simple. 53:52 It's Jesus in your heart. 53:55 Jesus is the answer for the world today. 53:58 And people don't know that. 54:00 But Jesus is the answer. Above Him there's no other. 54:03 ~ Sing with me. 54:06 Jesus, Jesus; 54:13 There's just something about that name. 54:24 Master, Savior, Jesus; 54:33 Like the fragrance after the rain. 54:44 Jesus, Jesus, Jesus; 54:54 Let all heaven and earth proclaim. 55:05 Kings and kingdoms will all pass away, 55:15 but there's something about that name. 55:25 Yvonne, could you say a prayer for us, 55:27 for our viewers at home? 55:29 ~ Absolutely. 55:30 ~ Lord, we just thank You so much for the life that 55:34 You gave, the life that You lived, 55:37 and that You shared with us as human beings. 55:40 We just thank You, Lord. 55:42 We thank You for those who are listening 55:44 who might not know You, but after this program 55:47 will want to know You better. 55:49 Lord, we just pray that Your Holy Spirit will work on them. 55:53 We just pray, Lord God, that we will be ready 55:57 to be with You forever. 55:58 We want to be able to say, "Lo, this is our God. 56:01 We've waited for Him, and He will save us." 56:05 Thank You, Lord, for all that You do and for who You are. 56:08 In Jesus' name we pray, amen. 56:12 Jesus, Jesus, Jesus; 56:21 There's just something about that name. 56:32 Master, Savior, Jesus; 56:40 Like the fragrance after the rain. 56:50 Jesus, Jesus, Jesus; 56:59 Let all heaven and earth proclaim. 57:10 Kings and kingdoms will all pass away, 57:20 but there's something about that name. 57:35 Amen. |
