00:02 - [Narrator] This presentation is brought to you
00:03 by the friends of the Amazing Facts ministry. 00:09 What do you think of when you hear the number 666? 00:13 Perhaps it conjures up ominous images of occult ceremonies 00:17 and the evil powers mentioned in Bible prophecy. 00:20 Some people have even refused phone numbers, license plates, 00:23 and credit cards that might contain the number 666 00:27 because of their fearful superstitions. 00:29 While we don't need to be afraid of the number 666, 00:32 it is interesting to note that mathematically, 00:35 666 is a very unique number. 00:38 It's the sum of the first 36 natural numbers, 00:42 meaning if you add one plus two plus three plus four 00:45 on up to 36, it adds up to 666, 00:49 and that would mean if you add up all the numbers 00:51 on a roulette wheel, it comes to 666. 00:54 It's also the sum of the squares 00:57 of the first seven prime numbers. 01:00 Furthermore, if you add together 01:02 the first six Roman numerals, 01:04 the total is, you guessed it, 666. 01:08 Even organic molecules are based on carbon 12 01:11 with six protons, six neutrons 01:14 in the nucleus surrounded by six electrons. 01:17 Revelation 13 speaks of a beast and a man 01:20 whose number is 666. 01:23 Obviously, it helps us to identify a power 01:25 that is opposed to God, 01:28 but what exactly is this power 01:30 and how can we avoid receiving its deadly mark? 01:34 Join me now as we explore the Bible facts 01:36 about the mark of the beast. 01:43 All right, we're gonna be talking tonight 01:46 about the deadly mark, 01:47 talking about the mark of the beast 01:49 and not just the mark of the beast. 01:51 We're gonna be talking also about the seal of God 01:54 and you've been waiting for this presentation. 01:57 The Bible tells us, in the book of Genesis, 01:59 Adam and Eve had two sons. 02:01 We alluded to this story a little earlier. 02:03 Their names were Cain and Abel. 02:07 You read in Genesis 4:2, "Abel was a keeper of sheep, 02:11 but Cain was a tiller of the ground," 02:14 sort of like Jacob and Esau. 02:15 One took care of sheep and the other was a hunter. 02:18 Twins, but they were different. 02:19 The Bible doesn't tell us Cain and Abel were twins. 02:22 Cain was probably the the firstborn. 02:24 You see, the Lord established the sacrificial system 02:27 right after Adam and Eve's sin. 02:29 They tried to cover their sin with fig leaves 02:32 and God said that will not do. 02:34 And he covered them with skin 02:36 that required something to die. 02:38 God explained that the death of these lambs were a symbol 02:42 for when his son would come as the lamb of God 02:45 and the sacrificial system was established, 02:48 they would bring their sacrifices 02:49 to their gates of the garden of Eden. 02:51 They'd been evicted, but when the time came for them 02:55 to make an offering to the Lord, 02:58 Cain as a tiller of the land, he said, Look, Abel, 03:00 you keep sheep. 03:01 That makes sense for you to offer a lamb 03:02 that's kind of messy, I don't wanna do that. 03:04 I'm a farmer, I'm gonna offer fruit. 03:08 And Abel said with his brother, 03:09 he said, "But that's not what God told us to do. 03:11 We need to obey God." 03:13 We got to this problem because we didn't obey God 03:15 and he kind of aggravated him that his younger brother 03:20 was telling him what to do. 03:23 And eventually it says that now "Cain talked with Abel, 03:26 his brother and Cain rose up against Abel 03:29 his brother and killed him." 03:31 Here you have the first murder in the universe. 03:35 You've got two brothers ostensibly 03:37 worshiping the same God. 03:39 Cain made an offering to God. 03:40 He built an altar, he made a sacrifice, 03:43 but he's doing it his own way. 03:44 He's changed it, it's manmade worship, 03:47 and he now persecutes his brother. 03:49 The Bible says Abel's offering was accepted, 03:52 that bothered Cain when he saw fire come from God 03:54 and accept Abel's offering, 03:56 but it didn't accept his offering, 03:59 and he became so angry that he killed him. 04:02 Did he kill Abel for his badness or because of his goodness? 04:06 Why were the religious leaders so angry at Jesus 04:08 because of his badness or because his goodness made 04:11 their badness stand out? 04:15 If you have light in you, 04:16 it will reveal the darkness in others 04:18 and it will either convert them or really bother them. 04:23 And the Bible says, because of Cain's awful sin, 04:27 it says, "The Lord set a mark on Cain 04:29 lest anyone finding him should kill him." 04:32 And so you have here worship persecution 04:36 and a mark is placed on one group. 04:40 I'm gonna read a passage to you 04:42 that explains why this subject is so important. 04:44 In Revelation 14:9, 04:47 "Then a third angel followed them saying with a loud voice, 04:51 'If anyone worships the beast in his image 04:54 and receives his mark on his forehead or on his hand, 04:57 he himself will also drink of the wine of the wrath of God 05:00 that is poured out full strength into the cup 05:04 of his indignation, 05:06 He will be tormented with fire and brimstone, 05:07 in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence 05:10 of the lamb and the smoke 05:12 of their torment ascends up forever 05:14 and ever and they have no rest. 05:15 No rest, day or night who worship the beast in his image 05:20 and whoever receives the mark of his name.'" 05:23 Then it contrasts that with, "Here are those that keep. 05:27 Here is the patience of the saints. 05:29 Here are those who keep the commandments of God 05:31 and the faith of Jesus." 05:33 So when we're talking about this very important subject, 05:35 the reason we covered is the Lord 05:38 is making the very strongest possible arguments in 05:41 the last days and he's saying, "Do not worship the beast. 05:45 Do not receive the mark of the beast." 05:47 But everybody in revelation has a mark. 05:50 Turn with me please now to Revelation chapter 14, 05:52 and this will set the stage 05:54 and then we'll go from there into the slide program. 05:57 Revelation 7:1. 06:01 "After these things, 06:03 I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, 06:06 holding the four winds of the earth." 06:08 Now everyone realizes these angels are symbols 06:10 of the four directions 06:12 of the earth, north, south, east, and west. 06:14 That no wind should blow upon the earth or on the sea 06:18 or any tree. 06:20 Those winds or storms was talking about trouble. 06:23 And I saw an angel ascend from the east 06:24 having the seal of the living God, 06:27 and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels 06:30 to whom it was granted to harm the earth and the sea saying, 06:33 "Do not harm the earth or the sea or the trees 06:35 till we have sealed servants of our God in their foreheads." 06:40 All right, question number one, with that background, 06:42 I think we can move along and it'll make more sense. 06:44 Who is protected through the seven last plagues? 06:47 So before these angels release the grip on the storm 06:49 and that storm is the plagues, what has to happen? 06:55 It says in Revelation 7:3, 06:56 "Do not harm the earth, the sea, 06:59 or the trees till we have sealed the servants 07:01 of our God on their foreheads. 07:04 Now with the mark of the beast, it says, hand and forehead. 07:07 With the seal of God, it just says forehead. 07:11 Question two, what is this seal? 07:15 Instead of focusing on the mark you don't want, 07:17 let's talk about the seal you do want, amen. 07:19 Then we'll get to the mark, look at the positive first. 07:22 What is this seal that the righteous have 07:25 in their forehead? 07:26 Well, you know the Bible tells us two or three places, 07:29 we are sealed with the Holy Spirit. 07:33 Everybody that has the mark of the beast 07:35 has got the spirit of the devil. 07:37 You already knew that, 07:38 everybody that has the seal of God has the spirit of God. 07:41 You're not gonna find anybody with the seal of God 07:43 that doesn't also have the spirit of God. 07:44 So that's the inner essence of that seal. 07:47 We have God's spirit in us. 07:49 "Grieve not the Holy Spirit, 07:51 we're with you are sealed for the day of redemption." 07:53 Paul tells us us, 07:55 but there's something more that's more specific. 07:57 What is this seal? 07:59 You look in Isaiah chapter 8:16, "Bind up the testimony, 08:03 seal the law among my disciples. 08:09 Everybody that has the seal of God 08:10 has the law of God in their hearts, 08:11 but there's more in the law. 08:14 What is a seal? 08:17 A seal biblically, contains three characteristics, 08:20 even in our world today. 08:23 When you go and you hear the President give a speech, 08:27 he'll come to the podium and it'll have the seal. 08:31 It'll say the president's name, it'll say a president, 08:35 his office, United States of America. 08:37 You got to Britain, it'll say Elizabeth, Queen England. 08:43 Wherever you have a government seal, 08:45 it's got three characteristics. 08:46 When there was a seal placed on the tomb of Jesus, 08:48 what did it say? 08:49 Remember, Pilate put a seal, Pontus Pilate, Governor Judea. 08:55 When there was a seal placed on the lions' den 08:56 then they took a stone, 08:58 they put it on Daniel's lions then 09:01 and it said Darius King, Mede-Persia. 09:04 It's got the name, their title, their territory. 09:09 All right, so you've got these three components in a seal. 09:13 Now here's the question. 09:15 Do you find the seal of God in the law of God? 09:19 Question number three, 09:21 which of the 10 commandments contains 09:23 all of the elements of a seal? 09:26 You read there in Exodus 20:11, 09:28 "For in six days the Lord," that's his name, Jehovah made, 09:34 that's his office. 09:35 He is the creator and sustainer of all life, 09:38 the heavens and the earth and the sea 09:40 and all that is in them. 09:42 That's his territory, his name, his office, his territory 09:47 is in the middle of the law 09:48 in the longest of the 10 Commandments, 09:50 in the only commandment that begins with the word remember 09:54 and I think I shared this with you the night 09:55 that we talked about the Sabbath truth. 09:58 That's why this subject's important 09:59 is because in the world you've got the holy land there 10:03 in Israel and in the holy land you've got the holy city. 10:06 And in the holy city you've got the Holy Mount, 10:08 and on the Holy Mount you've got the holy temple. 10:10 And in the holy temple you've got the holy place 10:13 and within the holy place you've got the holy of holies. 10:16 And in the holy of holies you've got the holy arc. 10:18 And in the holy arc you've got the holy law. 10:20 And in the holy law you've got the word holy one time, 10:24 you know where that is? 10:26 Fourth commandment. 10:28 God is asking us to keep a special time holy 10:31 for his worship. 10:33 Now we should worship God. 10:35 Some people say, Oh Pastor Doug, 10:36 you guys, you worship God one day a week. 10:37 I worship God every day of the week. 10:40 That sounds very sanctimonious when you say it, 10:42 but it's really not valid 10:43 'cause God is the one who thought up 10:45 the idea of worshiping him in a special way, 10:47 one day a week, right? 10:49 And if you say I'm worshiping God seven days a week, 10:53 that's wonderful, I do too. 10:54 But if you're saying that you're keeping the Sabbath seven 10:57 days a week, you're not holy, you're lazy 10:59 because it says you're not supposed to work. 11:01 And so it is definitely itemized by God. 11:04 It's not the church's Id, the Sabbath was God's idea, right? 11:08 Let's keep that straight. 11:09 And so this is in the middle of God's law, 11:13 the seal of God's law is there, 11:16 people who love the Lord Jesus said, 11:17 'Come to me, I'll give you rest.' 11:20 What did we learn about those who worship the beast? 11:22 They have no rest. 11:24 Day or night, 11:26 the Sabbath is a sign of the rest that we have in Christ, 11:29 every week, amen. 11:31 And people think about it like it's a burden, 11:32 it's a blessing and it's also very important 11:35 in the last days, it talks about who we worship. 11:37 Why has God given this special sign of his power? 11:42 Let's look at some of these verses. 11:44 Ezekiel 20:12. 11:46 I also gave them my Sabbath to be a sign, 11:49 like a seal between me and them that they might know 11:53 that I am the Lord that sanctifies them. 11:55 Does God only sanctify Jews or does every believer need 11:59 the sanctification of the Holy Spirit? 12:01 The Sabbath is a sign. 12:03 First thing that God did after he made Adam and Eve, 12:05 he made a day and he made it holy, he sanctified it. 12:09 He made their marriage holy. 12:11 There are two institutions that God gave us out of Eden, 12:13 the Garden of Eden marriage, holy and a day that is holy. 12:20 Do you realize that you can't experience love without time? 12:23 All love requires time to express it, isn't that right? 12:29 Your life requires time. 12:32 So if you believe that the Lord sanctifies, 12:34 then this is an important truth. 12:37 Again, Ezekiel 20:20, 12:39 "Hallow My Sabbaths and there'll be a sign 12:41 between me and you that you might know 12:43 that I am the Lord, your God." 12:45 He says it's a sign also says it's a sign 12:48 that he is the creator. 12:50 He not only sanctifies us, but he creates us. 12:54 Exodus 31:13, "Surely my sabbaths, you shall keep 12:58 for it as a sign between me and you 13:00 throughout your generations that you might know 13:03 that I am the Lord who sanctifies you." 13:06 Several times God says, it's a sign, it's a sign. 13:09 Don't forget this. 13:10 And the very fact that the children of Israel 13:12 were told to remember it means it existed 13:15 before it was given on Mount Sinai 13:18 when they were raining bread down from heaven. 13:20 In Exodus chapter 16, that's before Exodus 20, 13:22 where God gives the 10 commandments. 13:24 It tells us that he said there's not gonna be any bread 13:27 on the seventh day because that's my Sabbath. 13:30 Where'd that come from? 13:31 Back in Genesis chapter two, it was made for man. 13:35 That's not how you spell Jew, M-A-N, it's mankind, 13:40 that's talking about humanity. 13:42 Don't go anywhere friends, in just a moment, 13:45 we'll return with the rest of today's presentation. 13:47 The mark of the beast is probably the most controversial 13:51 and feared subjects from the book of Revelation. 13:55 Some say it's a numbered tattooed in our foreheads 13:58 or a computer chip embedded in our hands. 14:01 Others suggest the number is being secretly introduced 14:04 in the world now through a super ID credit card. 14:08 But if you're confused or even a little apprehensive 14:10 about this ominous issue, you don't have to be anymore. 14:13 A simple practical Bible study 14:16 will help the whole subject make perfect sense. 14:19 And that's why Amazing Facts wants to send you 14:21 a very special and inspiring Bible lesson 14:24 that'll help you to do just that. 14:26 It's called "The Mark of the Beast." 14:29 It's a comprehensive, yet easy to understand study 14:31 that will not only help you avoid the devil's schemes, 14:34 it will help provide step by step guidance 14:37 on how you can receive God's seal of protection 14:39 in your life today. 14:41 To get your free copy, call the phone number on the screen 14:44 and ask for offer number 127 or visit the web address. 14:48 And after you read this incredible resource, 14:50 be sure and share it with a friend. 14:52 Let's return to today's presentation 14:54 and learn some more Amazing Facts from the word of God. 14:59 Number seven, is either the mark of the beast 15:03 or the seal of God visible? 15:05 This is where I want you to pay special attention. 15:08 Look in Hebrews 10:16 that "Says the Lord: 15:14 I will put my laws in their hearts and in their minds, 15:18 I will write them." 15:20 The law of God in the heart and in the mind. 15:23 Is that physical or is that something inside, spiritual 15:26 Exodus 13:9, 15:28 "It shall be assigned to you on your hand 15:34 and a memorial between your eyes." 15:35 What do you call this spot between your eyes? 15:38 Your forehead. 15:39 What did David use to bring down Goliath? 15:43 A rock. And where'd it hit him? 15:45 Between the eyes. 15:46 See for the Jew, this is between the eyes. 15:49 It's not talk about where your glasses hang. 15:52 It's talking about in the hand and in the forehead. 15:54 Now I'm gonna show you a few other verses on this. 15:56 Look at Isaiah 59:6. 16:01 "There are works or works of iniquity 16:02 and the act of violence is in their hand." 16:04 So in the Bible, when it says in the hand, 16:07 represents your actions. 16:09 In the forehead, your thoughts and your worship. 16:13 If I say, "Can you please lend me a hand?" 16:15 You don't unscrew your hand and throw it to me, right? 16:17 It means can you give me some action. 16:20 Let me give you a couple more verses. 16:21 If you go in your Bible to the book of Deuteronomy, 16:23 one of the most important scriptures for the Jewish nation 16:26 was the great Sherma 16:28 that you would find in Deuteronomy 6:4. 16:32 But I want you to notice here what it says right after that. 16:34 Deuteronomy chapter five, they have the 10 commandments, 16:37 Deuteronomy six, this is all one message. 16:41 So Moses is not stopped and is part of a continuation 16:44 of the 10 Commandments being repeated. 16:45 "Hear all Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one. 16:49 You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, 16:51 with all your soul, 16:53 with all your strength and these words 16:54 that I command you today." 16:55 Now, Jesus said the greatest commandment, 16:57 is loving the Lord, right? 16:58 That was it, the greatest commandment. 17:00 What does he say immediately after that? 17:02 These words I command you today, 17:03 He just recited the 10 commandments. 17:05 Chapter five will be in your heart. 17:07 Now, when he says in your heart, 17:09 does that mean you make an incision in your chest 17:11 and you peel it open and you put the law in there 17:14 and sew it up? 17:15 Or is it a metaphor? 17:17 Metaphor, right? 17:18 Keep reading. 17:19 You shall teach them diligently to your children. 17:22 Verse seven, talk of them when you sit in the house, 17:24 when you walk by the way, when you lay down, 17:26 when you rise up the law of God, 17:28 you shall bind them for a sign. 17:31 It's like a seal, bind them for a sign on your hand. 17:34 They shall be as frontlets between your eyes. 17:37 Friends, this is just so easy when when you think about it, 17:40 God is saying over and over in His word, 17:42 the law of God is to be in your actions, 17:46 in your hands and in your forehead, in your mind. 17:49 And it starts by being in your heart. 17:51 If first it is in your heart, 17:53 it'll then be in your hand and in your head, right? 17:56 And so if you do not have the law of God in your heart, 18:00 in your hand, in your head, in the last days, 18:01 you'll have the mark of the beast in your forehead 18:03 or in your hand. 18:06 Quite simply, 18:07 there's gonna be two kinds of worship in the last days. 18:10 There's gonna be laws that will compel us to worship, 18:13 that is gonna require us to violate the law of God. 18:18 And we're gonna have to make the same decision 18:19 that Daniel and Esther and Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego 18:23 they all made. 18:24 Does anybody have the mark of the beast now? 18:29 Not yet, when will it become official? 18:35 You look in Revelation 13, it says, 18:36 "No man might buy or sell except the one who has the mark 18:39 or the name of the beast or the number of his name." 18:42 See, the anti-Christ power is gonna try to compel people 18:47 to worship a certain way. 18:50 Now in Daniel chapter three, it was the second commandment, 18:54 Daniel chapter six. 18:55 It was the first commandment and the last days 18:57 the issue is gonna revolve around the fourth commandment. 19:00 The fourth commandment is the seal of God 19:04 and the beast power is gonna be saying, 19:06 No, you cannot worship on the day God said, 19:08 you've gotta worship on the day that we set aside. 19:12 What was God's criticism against his ancient pastors 19:15 and priests? 19:17 He said, "You have caused many to stumble at the law. 19:20 You have not kept my ways, 19:22 but you have shown partiality in the law." 19:25 Hosea 4:6, 19:27 "My people are destroyed for a lack of knowledge." 19:29 He said his people, today it would be Christians. 19:31 Why are they destroyed? 19:33 Because you've rejected knowledge. 19:35 I'll reject you from being a priest for me 19:37 because you have forgotten the law of your God. 19:41 I will forget your children. This is pretty serious. 19:45 It's one of the prophets 19:46 that lived lived just before the time of Jesus. 19:48 And he said the people were forgetting the law of God. 19:51 How did God's ancient leaders regard 19:53 the great things from his law? 19:56 He says, 19:58 "I've written to them from the great things of my law, 20:00 but they were counted as a strange thing." 20:04 What specific solemn rebuke did God give religious leaders 20:07 regarding his Holy Sabbath? 20:09 Answer, he says, 20:11 You have despised my holy sayings 20:13 and you've profaned my Sabbath. 20:16 Again, Ezekiel 22:26, 20:18 "Her priests have violated my law 20:20 and profaned my holy things. 20:22 They have not distinguished 20:23 between the holy and the unholy." 20:26 My friends, I don't ever wanna apologize 20:28 for telling you that God said, 20:29 "Blessed are the pure in heart, they will see God." 20:31 God is calling us the holiness. 20:34 Jesus will cover you with his blood 20:36 and give you his holiness as a gift. 20:38 But he wants us to then grow in sanctification 20:41 and learn how to live holy lives 20:43 where we are dedicated to him. 20:44 We are doing our best, that's why we sing that song. 20:47 Make me willing to do your will. 20:48 What is the will of God? 20:50 I love to do thy will, thy law is in my heart. 20:53 That's what it says in the Psalms, Psalm 40:7. 20:56 And so we're talking about living holy lives, 20:59 but this is what was forgotten. 21:02 They're not distinguishing between the holy and the unholy, 21:05 God said that I have blessed, God. 21:08 Think about how big God is. 21:10 Think about how powerful God is. 21:12 I have blessed the seventh day, he commands, 21:16 "Remember the seventh day, keep it holy." 21:19 He's wanting this quality time with us. 21:22 But a lot of religious leaders back in the Old Testament, 21:26 they haven't changed much, Christ time, New Testament, 21:29 they go through the motions. 21:30 They got a form of godliness, 21:32 but they lack the power thereof. 21:36 Number 10, what two things 21:38 does the Antichrist power attempt to change? 21:42 You read in Daniel 7:25, 21:43 it describes as little horn Antichrist power 21:45 does all the things you find there in Revelation 13. 21:48 And Revelation 17, it speaks great words, exalts himself, 21:53 persecutes the saints, speaks words of blasphemy. 21:56 And it says, well think to change, what? 22:00 Times and laws. 22:01 Now, which one of the commandments 22:03 is both a time and a law. 22:05 There's only one commandment and they freely admit. 22:08 Now can any man change the law of God 22:11 or did they think to? 22:14 You can attempt it, you can't change the law of God. 22:17 God's got the original written in heaven, 22:18 you can't reach it. 22:20 And so Jesus said, 22:21 "Heaven and earth will have to pass away 22:23 before one shot or one tittle in any wise passes 22:25 from the law." 22:26 And by the way, Jesus said, 22:28 "Whosoever will break one of this," 22:29 This is Matthew chapter five also, 22:31 whoever will break one of the least of these commandments 22:33 and teach men so he will be called least 22:35 in the kingdom of heaven. 22:37 That means they'll be spoken of as the lowest 22:38 in the kingdom of heaven. 22:40 They're not in the kingdom. 22:41 People in the kingdom of heaven speak of them 22:43 as the lowest kind of person. 22:44 But whoever will do and teach my law 22:48 will be called great friends. 22:50 I not only want to do it, I want to teach it. 22:51 And the Lord says, 22:53 "Those that teach it will be called great 22:54 in the kingdom of heaven." 22:56 So if you say, why are you making an issue out of this? 22:58 Jesus told me to. 22:59 He says, We need to exalt the law. 23:02 The law, you know why the devil hates the law? 23:04 Sin is the transgression of the law. 23:07 When we see the law of God, we see our sin. 23:09 When we see our sin, we realize we need a savior 23:13 and we go to Jesus for forgiveness. 23:15 It is perfectly healthy and appropriate 23:17 for someone to preach the law. 23:19 If it brings conviction, 23:20 it then drives you to Christ for forgiveness. 23:24 The Bible says we must humble ourselves 23:26 under the mighty hand of God. 23:27 Cry out loud, weep. 23:28 And then James says, "And he will lift you up." 23:30 He doesn't leave you in a state of repentance forever. 23:33 He wants you to then be lifted up 23:34 and have the joy of the Lord. 23:36 The gospel is good news, 23:37 but first those seeds sprout through tears 23:40 and people need to be aware of their sins. 23:43 - [Congregant] Amen. 23:45 - Friends, in the last days, 23:47 God is calling his people back to the book. 23:49 What do you say? 23:50 - [Congregant] Amen. 23:51 - And the doctrines of devils 23:53 have crept into the church over time. 23:54 People have drifted away from a thus sayeth the Lord 23:57 and taken up these man-made traditions 24:00 and they've tried to sanctified man-made traditions, 24:03 make them holy and only God can make these things holy. 24:05 My father was a multi-millionaire 24:08 and I really wanted more time with my father. 24:12 He was a workaholic, like many multi-millionaires. 24:15 And it was much easier for my father to give me a donation 24:18 than to give me his time. 24:20 And a lot of people, 24:21 it's easier for them to go to church 24:24 and make an offering than to give God a day. 24:27 It really tells who you worship 24:29 if you're willing to give God a day as holy. 24:32 - [Congregant] Amen. 24:34 - And it's not a recommendation. He says this is a commandment. 24:36 You know the Bible says if you break one commandment, 24:37 you're guilty of all, the book of James. 24:39 Whosoever shall break one commandment is guilty of all. 24:42 You can't go into the courtroom and say, 24:44 Your honor, I realize I murdered somebody, 24:46 but I'm keeping the other nine commandments. 24:49 He's gonna say, "Oh, you gotta pay for that though." 24:52 And the sin is a transgression of the law, right? 24:55 So it does matter. 24:57 I think we underestimate how the Lord feels about this. 25:01 "If you turn away your foot from the Sabbath, 25:02 from doing your pleasure on my holy day 25:04 and call the Sabbath a delight. 25:07 It's not a burden, friends, it's a blessing. 25:08 Holy day of the Lord, honorable, 25:13 then you will delight yourself in the Lord. 25:16 He's blessed it, he didn't curse it. 25:18 He wants you to receive that blessing 25:20 and you will 'cause he's promised it. 25:23 When you decide to accept Jesus 25:24 and fully follow him, what happens? 25:27 You can read in his word, "Take my yolk upon you, 25:31 learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart 25:34 and you will find rest under your souls." 25:37 We want you to have that rest. 25:39 The Bible tells us in Revelation 15:2, 25:42 "And I saw something like a sea of glass mingled with fire 25:46 and those who had gotten the victory over the beast 25:49 and over his image and over his mark 25:51 and over his number of his name, 25:52 standing on the sea of glass, having the harps of God." 25:56 Now, before you can say no to the mark of the beast, 26:00 you need to say yes to the seal of God. 26:03 If what you've heard is true, 26:07 it's so important that you respond and then God can release 26:08 his power in your life. 26:09 Some of you're thinking, oh Lord, 26:11 I don't know how I'm gonna follow you in this area. 26:15 If you surrender to the Lord and say, Lord, 26:17 I wanna follow you, God will open the door. 26:19 Don't worry how you're going to obey him. 26:21 God will never ask you to do something 26:23 without giving you the power to obey. 26:25 Do you believe that, friends? 26:31 - [Narrator] Don't forget to request today's 26:33 life-changing free resource. 26:35 Not only can you receive this free gift in the mail, 26:37 you can download a digital copy straight 26:39 to your computer or mobile device. 26:41 To get your digital copy of today's free gift, 26:44 simply text the keyword on your screen to 40544 26:48 or visit the web address shown on your screen 26:50 and be sure to select the digital download option 26:53 on the request page. 26:54 It's now easier than ever for you to study God's word 26:57 with Amazing Facts, wherever and whenever you want, 27:01 and most important, to share it with others. 27:05 - [Announcer] Did you know Amazing Facts 27:06 has a free Bible school that you can do 27:09 from the comfort of your own home? 27:10 It includes 27 beautifully illustrated study lessons 27:13 to aid in your study of God's Word. 27:16 Sign up today for this free Bible study course 27:18 by calling 1-844-215-7000. 27:22 That's 1-844-215-7000. 27:29 - [Narrator] Would you like to know God's plan 27:30 for our troubled world 27:31 and solutions for your life's challenges? 27:34 Beautifully redesigned and updated, "Amazing Facts," 27:36 27 Bible Study Guides provides straightforward 27:39 Bible-based answers that are enlightening, encouraging, 27:42 and easy to understand, 27:43 giving you real relevant Bible answers to questions like, 27:46 How can I have healthier relationships? 27:48 When will Jesus come and much more. 27:50 Order yours today by visiting afbookstore.com 27:53 or by calling 800.538.7275. 28:03 Don't forget to request today's free offer. 28:05 It's sure to be a blessing. 28:06 And thank you for your continued support as we take 28:09 the gospel of Jesus Christ to the world. 28:12 We hope you'll join us next week as we delve deep 28:15 into the word of God to explore more Amazing Facts. 28:23 This presentation was brought to you 28:25 by the friends of the Amazing Facts ministry. |
