00:08 Doug Batchelor: You probably know sometimes notorious
00:10 criminals will receive a prison sentence that's far longer than
00:14 the average human lifespan.
00:16 Some stretch to more than 1,000 years, but the longest prison
00:20 sentence on record was handed to Chamoy Thipyaso, a woman in
00:24 Thailand who defrauded more than 16,000 of her countrymen out of
00:29 hundreds of millions of dollars back in the 1980s.
00:33 Her sentence was more than 140,000 years.
00:37 Remarkably, after an appeal to challenge the legality of the
00:40 sentence, her epic prison term was reduced to 20 years, and she
00:44 ended up only serving about 8 years.
00:47 The Bible book of Revelation explains that following the
00:50 Second Coming of Jesus, the most notorious criminal of all time,
00:54 the devil, will be handed a sentence of 1,000 years, after
00:59 which, he's briefly paroled, but where is this prison, and why
01:04 would God briefly let him out, and what's happening on Earth
01:08 during this 1,000 years when Satan is bound?
01:11 Join me now as we take a closer look at this fascinating Bible
01:15 prophesy topic known as "The Millennium."
01:23 Doug: Tonight's subject is one of my favorites, and it's
01:26 based on a passage you find in Revelation chapter 20.
01:29 We're calling it the devil's dungeon.
01:32 I think it was George Washington Carver who was famous because
01:36 he really helped an economic resurrection in the South
01:38 following the Civil War.
01:40 The sharecroppers, they kept farming cotton, cotton, cotton,
01:43 and it sapped the ground from its nutrients, and Carver said
01:47 you got to let the land lay fallow.
01:49 You got to let it recover and so that it can generate more
01:53 nitrogen, and he had them introduce crops like sweet
01:55 potatoes and peanuts, and that really was an economic salvation
02:00 for them when they finally realized you got to rest the
02:02 land, you can't keep farming the same thing all the time.
02:07 The Lord told the children of Israel when they came out of
02:09 Egypt, Moses said, Exodus 23: "Six years you will sow your
02:13 land and gather its produce, but the seventh year you shall let
02:19 it rest and lie fallow, that the poor of your people may eat."
02:23 They were to rest the land.
02:24 They used to have a farming Sabbath every seventh year,
02:28 don't farm.
02:30 Well, it's kind of hard sometimes to ask farmers not to
02:32 farm because it represents and economic loss, and evidently,
02:38 the children of Israel often ignored this law, and so you
02:42 find that from the time of King David up until the time of the
02:46 Babylonian captivity, they were farming the land year after year
02:51 after year, were not letting it keep the Sabbath, and so when
02:54 God finally brought judgment on them 490 years after David,
02:58 "then they burned the house of God and broke down the wall of
03:01 Jerusalem, and burned all of its palaces with fire--" notice this
03:04 very carefully--"and those who escaped from the sword he
03:08 carried off to Babylon until the land had enjoyed her Sabbaths.
03:15 As long as she lay desolate she kept Sabbath,
03:18 to fulfill seventy years."
03:21 So if you've got 490 years, how many annual Sabbaths
03:26 would you have?
03:27 How many 7-year Sabbaths would you have in 490 years?
03:30 Seventy.
03:32 So for every year that they neglected to let the land rest,
03:35 God said, "You're going to spend a year in captivity.
03:37 Jerusalem and the people--Jerusalem is going
03:41 to be uninhabited.
03:43 The land is going to rest."
03:45 It's very interesting.
03:47 You can read about this Nehemiah 1:3, "The wall of Jerusalem is
03:49 broken down.
03:51 The gates are burned with fire."
03:53 So God sort of compelled the land to rest.
03:57 You know, the Bible tells us that for about 6,000 years now,
04:02 Jesus has been sowing the gospel seed.
04:05 Revelation tells us that he's coming with a sickle to harvest
04:07 the earth.
04:09 Several parables, Jesus talks about farming and harvesting,
04:14 and during that time after we are caught up to meet the Lord,
04:18 the Lord is going to keep--the land is going to keep, or the
04:21 earth, a 1,000-year Sabbath when it is desolate.
04:25 Sometimes it's referred to as the millennium.
04:29 First question, what events mark the beginning of this 1,000-year
04:32 period, what we call the millennium?
04:34 It begins with the coming of the Lord.
04:37 It tells us "for the LORD Himself will descend from heaven
04:40 with a shout, and the dead in Christ will rise first.
04:44 We shall not all sleep, but we will all be changed," and you
04:50 read on here 1 Corinthians 15:52, "In a moment, in the
04:53 twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet, for the trumpet will
04:58 sound, and the dead shall be raised."
05:01 Now, those who are dead, they're raised, they're given
05:03 glorified bodies.
05:05 Those of us who are alive, we get new bodies.
05:08 You read in Philippians 3:21, "Who will transform our
05:12 lowly body that it might be conformed to His glorious body."
05:16 This verse wasn't near as important to me when I was,
05:18 like, 19 years old as it is now.
05:23 The older you get, the better this verse looks, amen?
05:27 "And then this lawless one will happen so the wicked--then that
05:30 lawless one will be revealed whom the Lord will destroy with
05:34 the brightness of His coming."
05:36 And so you've got the righteous who are alive.
05:39 They're transformed.
05:40 The righteous dead are resurrected.
05:42 The wicked who are dead stay dead.
05:44 The wicked who are alive are destroyed, and we are caught up
05:49 to meet the Lord in the air.
05:50 What is the condition of the earth during the 1,000 years?
05:54 Now, this is where a lot of people are surprised.
05:57 Look at this: "I beheld the earth and indeed it was without
06:00 form, and void, and the heavens, they had no light."
06:03 If I stop right there, you'll think he's describing
06:05 before creation.
06:07 Oh, keep reading, he's not.
06:09 It says, "I beheld the mountains and indeed they trembled.
06:12 I beheld and, indeed, there was no man, and all the birds of
06:16 heaven had fled, and the fruitful place was a wilderness,
06:20 and all its cities were broken down."
06:22 There were people there, but they're not there anymore.
06:25 The birds have all fled.
06:27 "And the cities are broken down--" what caused all
06:29 this devastation?
06:32 It says the presence of the Lord and by His fierce anger.
06:35 Look at this verse in Jeremiah 25:33, "And at that day the
06:39 slain of the Lord shall be from one end of the earth even
06:43 to the other end of the earth.
06:45 They are not be lamented, or gathered, or buried," why?
06:49 There's no one alive to gather, lament, or bury them.
06:54 See, what happens is when Jesus comes back, what
06:56 direction do we go?
06:58 We go up. What happens to the wicked?
07:00 They're destroyed by the brightness of his coming.
07:04 This earth is going to get a 1,000-year Sabbath.
07:05 We are not living and reigning here on the earth
07:07 over the wicked.
07:09 I don't know about you, but I have no desire to reign
07:10 over sinners.
07:12 We are living and reigning with Christ and His ambassadors.
07:16 He says, "I've gone to prepare a place for you."
07:18 We go up when He comes.
07:20 "And an angel laid hold of the dragon, that serpent of old, who
07:23 is the devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years."
07:27 So we see that Satan is captured, he's bound.
07:29 Now, where is he bound?
07:31 It tells us that the devil is cast into this--what is it?
07:34 Bottomless pit, that word there, "bottomless pit" has confused a
07:38 lot of people, and folks wonder, "Is it a black hole out in the
07:41 universe somewhere, and is it a wormhole, and what is
07:44 this bottomless pit?"
07:46 Well, the word in Greek is abussos, and the word
07:50 simply means abyss.
07:51 It means a place where the devil has no one to inhabit.
07:55 It is the same word that is used in the Greek Septuagint that is
07:59 for "when the earth is without form and void."
08:03 It describes our world in a state of chaos.
08:07 The earth is a dark chaotic mess.
08:09 Satan is bound on the void, this abussos.
08:13 Where will the saints be during the 1,000 years
08:17 and what are they doing?
08:18 All right, Jesus said, "I will come again and receive you to
08:22 Myself; that where I am--"
08:25 He's on-- up in heaven with the Father
08:27 in the mansions He's prepared-- "you may be also."
08:31 So as the dead in Christ rise, we're caught up, we meet Him in
08:34 the air, we go with Him to that place.
08:37 We've got glorified bodies now.
08:40 What are we doing?
08:42 "I saw thrones, and they that sat upon them, and judgment was
08:46 given to them, and they lived and reigned with Christ
08:50 for a thousand years."
08:52 So what are we doing during the 1,000 years?
08:55 Well, someone said there's going to be three big surprises
08:59 in heaven.
09:00 I think I mentioned this.
09:02 One surprise is that you're there.
09:04 The other surprise is that you're going to see people there
09:06 that you never dreamed would be there, and the third surprise is
09:10 that there are going to be people missing that you thought
09:13 would be leading the parade in heaven.
09:15 Now, suppose you get to heaven and you got your uncle Elmer,
09:21 and he seemed like such a godly man, deacon in the church,
09:24 smiled all the time, carried his Bible under his arm, and you
09:27 thought that, "Wow, he's going to be in heaven."
09:29 You're going to get to heaven, say, "Where's Uncle Elmer?"
09:32 And the angel's going to put his eyes down, say, "Well, you know,
09:35 I got some sad news.
09:37 He's not here."
09:39 "What?" "Come with me."
09:42 The Bible says there's books.
09:44 I don't know if God is going to have old-fashioned books or a
09:47 video or how He's going to show us, but He'll show us
09:49 everything's recorded, and the angel's going to play back.
09:54 You realize the Bible says everything done in secret will
09:56 be proclaimed from the housetops.
09:59 Unless your sins are under the blood, you're in trouble.
10:02 I don't want you seeing my book, and you don't want me
10:04 seeing yours.
10:05 Can you say amen?
10:07 But if you're lost, your book is going to be opened, because your
10:10 sins are not covered by the blood, and you're going to look
10:13 and see Uncle Elmer, ooh, he looked real good in public,
10:16 but there was some private sin.
10:18 "Well, Lord, but why didn't you save him?"
10:19 You'll see everywhere in his life where God tried to reach
10:22 him, and he hardened his heart, and finally you'll say, "Lord,
10:26 You did the right thing.
10:27 You had no choice."
10:29 See, during that 1,000 years, we're going to have
10:30 a lot of questions.
10:32 The Lord wants us to enter eternity trusting His judgment.
10:37 The Bible says in the book of Revelation, chapter 15, "Thy
10:41 judgments have been made manifest."
10:44 All that God's judgments will be open so that we can trust Him
10:48 as we enter eternity.
10:50 What will happen at the close of the 1,000 years?
10:53 "Behold, the day of the Lord is coming, and in that day His feet
10:58 will stand on the Mount of Olives--" this is Zechariah 14,
11:01 verses 1, 4, 5, 9--"His feet will stand on the Mount of
11:04 Olives, which faces Jerusalem on the east.
11:07 And the Mount of Olives will split in two."
11:09 This is one of those apocalyptic prophesies in the Old Testament
11:12 where Zechariah pictures the Savior coming down.
11:15 It's at the end of the 1,000 years.
11:18 Feet touch the Mount of Olives.
11:19 Why the Mount of Olives?
11:21 This was a place that was especially precious to Jesus.
11:25 Now, He was born in Bethlehem.
11:27 It was just down the hill from the southern side of
11:30 the Mount of Olives.
11:32 On the Mount of Olives He told His disciples about the fall of
11:36 Jerusalem and the signs of His Second Coming.
11:38 It was on the Mount of Olives that Jesus wept over Jerusalem
11:41 when they came in and had the triumphal entry.
11:44 It was on the Mount of Olives you've got the garden of
11:46 Gethsemane, where He was arrested, and He sweat and
11:50 prayed "Not My will, Thy will be done."
11:54 And it was from the Mount of Olives by Bethany when He
11:57 ascended to heaven.
11:59 He said, "As I left, I'm coming back."
12:01 That's what the angel said in Acts chapter 1.
12:04 So Jesus is coming back.
12:06 He'll be visible, He'll be real, and He's coming back the same
12:10 place He left.
12:12 Doug: Don't go anywhere, friends.
12:13 In just a moment we're going to return for the rest of
12:15 today's presentation.
12:17 What happens before and after the millennium, and how does it
12:21 fit in with the two resurrections that are mentioned

13:04 Well, let's get back to today's presentation and learn some more
13:07 amazing facts about the Word of God.
13:11 Doug: And when His feet touched the Mount of Olives,
13:12 something happens.
13:14 You know, the earth is already a mess.
13:15 You know, when bulldozers come in and they try and rebuild
13:18 after a terrible earthquake, they just clear a big area.
13:22 Jesus's feet touch that mountain and it splits.
13:26 There's seismic activity.
13:27 It splits and it forms a tremendous valley, and in that
13:31 valley, the New Jerusalem comes down.
13:35 What happens next to free Satan from his prison?
13:40 The Bible says that when Jesus comes down, not only does a new
13:44 Jerusalem descend but the rest of the dead don't live again
13:48 until the thousand years are finished.
13:50 There you've got it, Revelation 20, verse 5, which means what?
13:53 At the end of the 1,000 years, the devil's released
13:57 from his prison.
13:58 You know one reason the earth is called a prison for Satan,
14:02 a bottomless pit during the 1,000 years?
14:04 Satan is a workaholic.
14:07 Would you agree?
14:09 You ever heard someone say, "He works like the devil"?
14:12 I remember hearing a story where it talked about this man.
14:15 He worked in an office where there was a lady, and she was
14:19 always a positive, upbeat Christian.
14:22 This man was kind of a negative atheist, and whenever he'd say,
14:25 "Aw man, it's pouring cats and dogs out there," she was
14:26 always positive.
14:28 She'd say, "Yeah, the flowers are going to be beautiful
14:29 in May."
14:31 And he said "You know, what the politicians are
14:33 doing is terrible."
14:34 She said, "I'm so thankful for the freedoms that we enjoy."
14:36 And he used to get so irritated at her because everything he
14:38 said where he's just complaining, she'd always
14:40 turn it positive.
14:42 One day he thought, "I got her.
14:44 She's a Christian."
14:45 And one day he went into the office, he says, "Boy, that
14:47 devil, isn't he terrible?"
14:50 And she said, "Well, he certainly is busy."
14:54 He can't stand to be idle.
14:57 Do you realize what is going on?
14:59 Why is Satan being released from his prison?
15:01 Why is he bound like this for 1,000 years?
15:03 Why doesn't Jesus just destroy him?
15:08 You realize that for 1,000 years Satan and his angels are bound.
15:12 The Lucifer--the devil Lucifer, he told these other angels,
15:16 "If you follow me, I've got a better government.
15:18 I can do better than God."
15:19 Satan said, "Six thousand years in this world" to demonstrate
15:22 what his government would be like.
15:24 I know you're thinking it's not fair that it happened here
15:27 to us, but our first parents chose to listen to Lucifer
15:30 instead of God.
15:32 God said, "Don't eat it."
15:33 The devil said, "Eat it," and they listened to the devil,
15:37 and whoever you obey, that's whose servants you are.
15:39 Satan set up his rebellion here on this planet, and look
15:42 at what's happened to our world under his leadership.
15:45 Now, for 1,000 years, Satan and his angels need to roam this
15:49 dark, cold planet, and they look at the results of the rebellion:
15:53 broken-down cities, the earth is all cracked.
15:56 It was a paradise, and his government of self-first
16:00 selfishness destroyed everything.
16:03 So at the end of the 1,000 years when the New Jerusalem comes
16:07 down, Jesus's feet like a hypodermic needle, He brings all
16:10 the dead back to life.
16:11 He calls them back to life.
16:13 The devil can't resurrect anybody.
16:15 Even Jesus is the only one who can resurrect the lost.
16:19 He brings him forth.
16:20 Now all the people who have ever lived through the ages, we got
16:24 almost eight billion people alive on the world today, you
16:27 add that up with all the people who have lived through history,
16:30 you've got billions of people that are coming out
16:31 of the grave.
16:33 What will Satan do when the wicked are raised?
16:36 "He'll go out to deceive the nations that are in the four
16:39 corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them
16:42 together to battle.
16:44 The number is as the sand of the sea."
16:47 And they went up on the breadth of the earth.
16:50 This is a global army.
16:51 It's not just one nation.
16:53 "And they surround the camp of the saints, the beloved city,
16:55 the new Jerusalem."
16:57 Now, friends, this is where it gets really interesting.
17:02 Everybody here this evening, do you know we are all going to
17:05 meet again someday.
17:07 I promise you.
17:09 See, there's only four kinds of people.
17:12 You've got the righteous alive and the righteous dead.
17:15 You've got the wicked alive and the wicked dead.
17:18 This is an event where everybody will be present
17:21 and accounted for.
17:23 You've got God and Christ and the good angels.
17:27 You've got the devil and his fallen angels, all present and
17:30 accounted for at this event.
17:34 And this is going to be a time that is going to be very
17:36 profound, and there will be some very sober situations there when
17:40 everybody meets again, and I think there's going to be a lot
17:43 of revelation, everything that the lost have ever done against
17:48 anybody is going to be playing.
17:50 You're going to see fights breaking out among the lost.
17:53 "I'm here because of you.
17:54 Why didn't you tell me?"
17:56 Parents, they said to their kids, "Oh, you can go to church
18:00 if you want to, but we're staying home."
18:03 And the kids grow up and they go wild, and they said,
18:06 "Why didn't you tell me?
18:08 Why didn't you lead me to God?"
18:10 It's going to be a very sobering time.
18:14 Says, "You will come up against My people Israel like a cloud to
18:17 cover the land," all the wicked who've ever lived.
18:21 At this crucial moment, what stops everything, before Satan
18:24 launches his final attack?
18:26 I don't know if he's going to have enough intelligence or
18:29 materials or resources to build weapons or put together
18:32 nuclear bombs.
18:33 I don't know, but he's going to try and launch this attack
18:36 against the new Jerusalem.
18:39 At this crucial moment, just before they launch their final
18:41 attack, and Satan says charge, let's attack the city, the only
18:46 chance they've got is attacking the city and listening
18:48 to Lucifer.
18:49 They know they're doomed otherwise.
18:52 You read in Revelation 20, verse 11, now.
18:54 "I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, and the dead
18:59 were judged according to their works by the things that were
19:03 written in their books."
19:04 We are saved by grace through faith, but if we're not saved,
19:07 we're judged by our works.
19:09 Matter of fact, even the saved are judged by their works
19:12 because their works show whether they're saved, even if that work
19:15 is a work of believing.
19:17 Now, Jesus once said, "This is the work you shall do.
19:19 Believe on the one the Father has sent."
19:22 Now, can the Lord save 3,000 people at one time at Pentecost?
19:27 Can He judge 1,000 people at one time?
19:30 I think sometime we think of the judgment, God's going to say,
19:33 "Okay, line up, take a number--" like when you go to
19:36 Baskin-Robbins or the parts store, and everybody's waiting,
19:41 "Okay, next," the bailiff says, the angel there, and you come up
19:44 and they open the books.
19:46 God is going to play out in the heavens the whole thing.
19:51 There just before Satan launches attack, Christ is going to be
19:54 exalted above the city where everybody in the world can see
19:57 Him, enthroned, the right hand of the glory of the Father, and
20:03 in the sky and panorama of the great controversy between good
20:07 and evil is going to play out, how God sent His own Son, and
20:11 all the sufferings of Christ, and the opportunities in every
20:14 person's life to be saved.
20:16 I think you've heard one person almost dies, their life flashes
20:19 before them, happens very quickly.
20:22 This may not be so quick.
20:25 God is going to take people all through the history.
20:27 Their memories are going to be restored.
20:28 They're going to see everything God did to try to save them, and
20:31 they would not, and ultimately, they realize there's nothing
20:37 else that God could do.
20:39 What will happen after the wicked are judged?
20:42 "As I live, says the Lord, every knee will bow to Me, and every
20:47 tongue will confess to God."
20:50 See, Satan, he wanted to be God.
20:53 He told Jesus, "Bow down, worship me, and I'll give you
20:54 the world."
20:56 Christ said, "Though shalt not worship anyone but God."
20:59 And Satan wanted Christ's position.
21:04 Ultimately, everybody's going to be brought to the point where
21:06 they bow down and they confess.
21:08 Now, for the righteous, if you repent and confess Jesus's name
21:12 before he comes, you can be saved.
21:15 Those who confess the name of Jesus afterward are confessing
21:18 like Judas confessed, when he went into the temple and he
21:22 threw down the blood money, and he said, "I have betrayed
21:23 innocent blood."
21:25 That was too late.
21:26 He was just overwhelmed with a sense of his guilt and the
21:29 foreboding of his punishment.
21:32 That is the wrong kind of repentance.
21:34 It's like when the Pharaoh repented when all
21:36 the plagues began to fall.
21:38 That repentance won't save you.
21:39 It says, "I heard a loud voice," Revelation 19:1 and 2, "I heard
21:43 a loud voice of a great multitude in heaven saying,
21:46 'True and righteous are His judgments.'"
21:51 Before we enter eternity,
21:53 God wants us to see that He is just, that He is
21:56 fair, that He is good, that He is love, and even in
22:02 the punishment of the wicked,
22:04 He is doing the loving, just thing.
22:06 God has no alternative but to do that.
22:09 So everybody's going to meet again that day.
22:12 What happens next?
22:16 "Fire comes down from God out of heaven and devours them."
22:20 Before they ever get the fire off the first shot, after they
22:23 all kneel and they say Jesus Christ is Lord, after this
22:27 white-throne judgment where everyone's life passes before
22:30 them and they see that God did all he could to save them, but
22:33 they kept procrastinating.
22:34 They would not surrender.
22:35 They would not trust Jesus, and God rains fire down
22:39 upon the wicked, and it says it devours them.
22:43 Now, different people are going to suffer different lengths
22:47 of time.
22:48 He that sinned much will suffer much.
22:51 To whom much is given, much is required.
22:53 There will be some people that will probably die very quickly.
22:55 They had very little light or knowledge in their lives, and
22:59 who do you think is going to suffer the longest?
23:01 The devil.
23:04 He has on his back the guilt of the whole world and all
23:08 the fallen angels he led and he instigated.
23:11 You know, all of us have an influence for good or evil.
23:16 I want my life to tell for good.
23:18 I spent too many years in my youth having an evil influence,
23:22 and but everybody, the Bible says that we'll answer
23:26 for those things.
23:27 If your sins are not forgiven and under the blood,
23:30 there's a punishment for that.
23:31 So everyone is going to be rewarded according to what
23:33 they deserve.
23:34 There will be some lost, young people that maybe did not have
23:36 knowledge.
23:38 They'll die very quickly.
23:39 Adolf Hitler, Idi Amin and others?
23:42 They're going to look at the millions that died.
23:45 Joseph Stalin?
23:46 Millions that died because of their evil leadership.
23:50 "And anyone who is not written in the Book of Life was cast
23:54 into the lake of fire."
23:55 As that fire rains down, it continues to build up until it
23:58 forms a lake.
23:59 We saw that happen here in California about a week ago, how
24:02 that famine in the land--and then we had a downpour, and now
24:05 there's lakes where there was dust.
24:08 Have you noticed?
24:10 And the wicked are then devoured.
24:12 This is the second death.
24:15 Now, let's just review what's going on here.
24:17 Beginning of the 1,000 years, First Resurrection, Second
24:20 Coming of Jesus; the end of the 1,000 years, the wicked Second
24:25 Resurrection, Holy Spirit--a holy city descends, a new
24:29 Jerusalem comes down to earth.
24:31 During the millennium, the righteous are in heaven, we're
24:34 engaged in judgment, having our questions answered, enjoying
24:36 a 1,000-year Sabbath with the Lord.
24:40 For 6,000 years you have this battle between good and evil
24:44 here in the world, right?
24:45 We're going to get a millennial rest with the Lord
24:48 during that time.
24:49 The earth is desolate.
24:51 It is keeping Sabbath during that time.
24:53 After the fire goes out, what will God do for His people?
24:57 Ah, friends, I want to see this.
24:59 The Bible says, "For I create a new heavens and a new earth."
25:04 Eventually, the fire goes out.
25:08 Bible says there will not be a coal to warm at.
25:11 Christ then creates a new heavens and a new earth.
25:14 Whether He'll do it in six days or not, I don't know, but you
25:17 and I will get to watch God speak a new paradise into
25:21 existence from these balcony seats of the new Jerusalem.
25:25 On the wall, we'll see a beautiful, new environment
25:27 for us.
25:29 The Bible says, "Blessed are the meek.
25:31 They will inherit the earth."
25:33 It's an earth made new, amen?
25:35 "You shall go forth from the gates of the new Jerusalem."
25:38 It says, "You shall go forth and thread upon the wicked, for they
25:41 are ashes under the soles of your feet."
25:44 If that's clear, please say amen.
25:46 So they're being, they're receiving their judgment
25:50 here in this world.
25:52 "We, according to His promise, look for a new earth in which
25:56 dwells righteousness."
25:59 We've just seen how things are going to play out in
26:01 the last days.
26:03 And God--this is not very far in the distance, friend.
26:06 You know, the Bible tells us a day with the Lord is
26:09 like 1,000 years.
26:11 Here we are now about 6,000 years into human history based
26:14 on Bible times, and then we're going to live and reign with
26:19 Christ for 1,000 years.
26:20 We are at the sundown, right now, of the sixth day.
26:26 That millennial Sabbath is going to begin soon.
26:29 Jesus is going to come.
26:30 There's going to be a resurrection.
26:32 Those that serve him are going to be transformed and caught up
26:35 to meet him in the air.
