00:03 by the friends of the Amazing Facts Ministry. 00:06 Coming to you from New York City at the historic 00:10 Manhattan Center with your host, Doug Batchelor. 00:13 Join this exciting journey of discovery as we learn the truth 00:17 about Bible prophecy. 00:19 Explore the timeless wisdom of God's Word and see how it 00:23 relates to our lives today. 00:25 Stay tuned. 00:27 Your Amazing Facts adventure begins now. 00:30 Doug Batchelor: Hello, friends, welcome back to 00:33 "Prophecy Odyssey." 00:34 In our last episode, we learned that God created a perfect angel 00:39 named Lucifer who became proud and rebellious and was 00:42 eventually cast out of heaven. 00:45 Today we're going to continue our eye-opening study of how 00:48 Lucifer became Satan, our arch enemy, and he's working to 00:52 deceive all people and twisting the truth. 00:55 We'll also learn how to resist the devil's temptation and how 00:59 he will soon be destroyed. 01:01 Remember, for a deeper Bible study experience, check out the 01:05 Prophecy Odyssey Bible lessons and our free offer. 01:09 I'll say more about that at the end of this program. 01:12 So for right now, thanks for watching, and let's return to 01:15 our "Prophecy Odyssey." 01:17 Question number five, what methods, we need to be aware of 01:21 how the devil operates? 01:22 What methods does Satan use in his work? 01:25 Well, there's several things. 01:26 Point number A, it's Satan who deceives the whole world. 01:32 Now, deception is different from just a blatant lie. 01:36 Deception is the commingling of truth with error. 01:40 Never is the devil more dangerous than he'll take 01:43 something that is 85% true. 01:47 Do you know that all religions have elements of truth? 01:52 But then the devil mixes in 15% or 5% of poison and he 01:58 attracts--how do you catch a fish? 01:59 You take a good piece of bait, you put a hook in it. 02:02 Nothing wrong with the bait. 02:04 It's the hook in it. 02:06 And so the devil, he'll take something good, but he'll mix in 02:09 something evil, and that's why as a Christian, you gotta know 02:11 your Bible because the devil will misquote it, and so many 02:15 people are deceived because they see some truth in the religion, 02:19 but they don't see where the poison is, where the danger is. 02:23 So he commingles truth with error. 02:26 Answer B, He, Jesus was there in the wilderness 40 days and 40 02:31 nights tempted. 02:32 What else does the devil do? 02:34 Tempting. 02:35 Now, we're all tempted. 02:37 It is not a sin to be tempted. 02:40 We are all tempted probably many times a day. 02:43 Some of you don't know you're tempted because you are not even 02:45 trying to resist temptation. 02:47 Do you know, you do not feel the current in the river if you're 02:51 drifting with the current. 02:53 But as soon as you try to resist the current and swim upstream, 02:56 you're going to feel the pressure. 02:58 A lot of the world says, "I don't get tempted." 03:00 It's because they're doing everything the devil wants them 03:02 to do. 03:03 Reminds me of an evangelist named Billy Sunday. 03:06 A man was coming to his evangelistic meetings and Billy 03:09 Sunday was preaching against sin. 03:12 And finally this man came stomping up to the evangelist 03:14 and said, "Pastor Sunday, will you stop rubbing the cat's fur 03:17 the wrong way?" 03:18 Said, "You keep rubbing the cat's fur the wrong way." 03:21 And he said, "No, I'm rubbing the cat's fur the right way. 03:23 The cat needs to turn around." 03:27 And if we find out that we're going in God's direction, we're 03:31 going to realize that we're getting resistance from 03:33 the devil. 03:35 Jesus was tempted. 03:37 It's not a sin to be tempted. 03:39 You just don't want to give in to the temptation. 03:43 Answer, C, they are the spirits of demons performing signs. 03:48 Can fallen angels perform signs and wonders and miracles? 03:51 Says in Revelation that they can. 03:54 Rasputin seemed to have some power. 03:58 And there are wicked powers in high places that are often 04:02 manipulating the leaders of the world. 04:05 King Saul, before he died, he went to a witch and she conjured 04:10 up an evil spirit that left him utterly discouraged. 04:14 He committed suicide the next day. 04:16 Armageddon, Revelation tells us evil spirits come out of the 04:19 mouth of the beast, the dragon, and the false prophet to gather 04:22 the kings, the leaders of the world together to that 04:25 final battle. 04:27 Evil spirits are going to be involved in deceiving through 04:29 the devil and his angels. 04:32 Answered D, he's called the accuser. 04:36 Satan is always standing around accusing. 04:39 Have you read the book of Job. 04:40 He's up there in heaven saying, "Well, the only reason Job 04:42 follows you is because you protected him." 04:44 And you read in the book Zechariah, the devil is pointing 04:47 at the high priest Joshua and says, "Well, look at his 04:48 dirty garments. 04:50 He can't get into heaven looking like that." 04:51 And when Michael comes to resurrect Moses, the devil's 04:54 there, and he says, "Ah, Moses sinned before he died. 04:57 You can't take him to heaven." 04:59 And the devil is always accusing. 05:01 The devil will tell you to sin and then he'll turn you in for 05:04 doing it, did you know that? 05:07 Some people think that, well, you know, 05:08 the devil tempted me to do this. 05:09 I thought that all of a sudden I'd get some benefits 05:11 if I sold my soul to him. 05:12 Oh no, he doesn't care about you. 05:16 Devil's much more powerful than any of us, but the devil is not 05:20 more powerful of you and God together. 05:23 You and God are always a majority, amen? 05:26 You have nothing to be afraid of if you're linked up with Christ. 05:30 You know, the Bible tells us that Jesus is the Son of David. 05:34 And if you read in the Bible, David never lost a battle. 05:39 Sometimes his army would retreat from him. 05:42 There's one story where everyone left David except one soldier 05:44 named Eliezer. 05:46 I could never forget his name, Eliezer, the son of Dodo. 05:50 And everybody retreated, but David did not retreat and he 05:53 stood and he fought the Philistines with Eliezer and the 05:56 two of them defeated the army. 06:00 If you are with Jesus the Son of David, you have nothing to fear. 06:04 Because you'll pick up the sword of the Spirit and you'll win 06:07 that battle. 06:08 The accuser of our brethren will be cast down. 06:11 He'll accuse them. 06:12 By the way, people that are always gossiping and accusing 06:14 other people, you're not doing the work of Jesus. 06:18 They're doing the work of the devil. 06:21 Answer E, he is a what? 06:24 A murderer. 06:25 He was the one who inspired Cain to kill his brother Abel. 06:29 He has no regard for human life. 06:31 Whether you're young or whether you're old or a baby, people 06:34 say, "Why does God allow all this death?" 06:37 It breaks God's heart more than it does that of any human. 06:40 This world has rebelled against God. 06:43 The devil has claimed this world as his territory, but God so 06:47 loved the world, He sent His Son into this world to save as many 06:50 as will come to Him. 06:52 And He will eventually, He's redeemed those who believe in 06:55 Him and He'll create a new heavens and a new earth, right? 06:59 But right now there's a war in this world, and he's also a liar 07:04 and the father of it. 07:06 Question number 6: When is the devil the most dangerous? 07:12 Answer, 2 Corinthians 11:14, "For Satan himself transforms 07:18 himself into a" what? 07:20 "An angel of light." 07:23 You know, when Jesus was tempted in the wilderness and the devil 07:26 came and said, "If you are the Son of God, turn these stones 07:30 into bread." 07:32 Do you think that the devil suddenly plopped down on 07:34 the ground, he had bat wings and red leotards and a goatee 07:38 and a horns and a pitchfork and said, 07:40 "I've got a proposition for you." 07:42 Is that how he came to Jesus? 07:44 No, he came as though he is a messenger from heaven. 07:47 And the devil still does that. 07:51 You know, I'm just going to be very honest with you and 07:58 Christianity is one of the most scoffed at religions in the 08:03 world because there are so many counterfeit Christians 08:05 out there. 08:07 But you do not counterfeit something that is 08:10 not worthwhile. 08:13 Have you ever seen somebody hold up a counterfeit $1 bill? 08:17 You know, you give them a $100 bill in the 08:19 store, they'll hold it up to the light. 08:20 They'll take a special pen and they'll look in the front, 08:22 they'll look at the back. 08:24 You ever see them do that with a penny? 08:26 Why? Not worth anything. 08:29 But God's truth, God's church is the most valuable thing in 08:33 the world. 08:35 And the devil has created more counterfeits. 08:38 And how many have surfed through the channels and you hear 08:42 different preachers from different backgrounds and 08:44 different perspectives and some of them they're out there 08:47 begging for money and they're promising you the world if 08:50 you'll send them money. 08:52 And you're wondering why it is they're flying around living 08:58 like gods and they're taking the money from people living on 09:02 Social Security. 09:05 That's the devil. 09:07 Now, have you noticed this meeting? 09:08 I'll make you a promise. 09:10 We're not going to beg for your money. 09:12 We're here, people have sponsored these meetings 09:13 because they want to get the truth out. 09:15 They believe Jesus is coming again. 09:16 They want people to be saved, amen? 09:19 But don't believe everybody out there that says that just 09:23 because they quote a scripture or two. 09:26 There's a lot of--Jesus warned us there are wolves in 09:30 sheep's clothing. 09:32 Paul said, "After my departure, I know that grievous wolves will 09:35 come in among you, not sparing the flock to draw away disciples 09:40 after themselves." 09:42 To buy them their Bugatti and their fancy cars and their 09:46 lifestyle, all in the name of the Lord, they do it. 09:50 They're wolves, amen. 09:52 Does Satan know the Bible? 09:55 Yeah. 09:57 Just because somebody says, "Well, I've got the Bible or 09:59 pastor quotes from the Bible once or twice does not mean that 10:02 they are following the Lord. 10:04 We're putting the scriptures in your hands. 10:06 We're saying you read it for yourself, ask any question 10:08 you can. 10:10 In fact, you tell me something that we're not doing in this 10:13 meeting that we can do to make it clear that these are 10:15 scriptural presentations. 10:18 We're doing everything we know how to do to get you to read the 10:20 Bible for yourself and discover what the truth is. 10:23 I'm not afraid of the truth, friends. 10:25 I was up in a cave in the mountains no religious 10:30 preference at all. 10:31 I started reading the Bible. 10:32 I said, "Lord, I want to know what is the truth." 10:35 I started visiting different churches--and I also want to add 10:38 there are a lot of good people in different denominations. 10:42 There are good pastors in different denominations. 10:45 They're not all shysters and con artists. 10:48 We just know that there's some flimflam pastors out there 10:51 also, right? 10:52 And so there's some good sincere people and I might respect with 10:55 some of their--disrespect some of their doctrinal positions, 10:58 but I said, "Lord, there's so much confusion in Christianity, 11:02 but I believe the teachings of Jesus. 11:04 What is the truth?" 11:06 And up there in the mountains in a cave over 45 years ago, I 11:09 prayed and said, "Lord, I just want to know what is the truth." 11:13 And the Lord revealed to me the things we're sharing with you in 11:16 these meetings and we want you to study and find it for 11:19 yourself, amen? 11:21 Does the devil know the Bible? 11:24 Better than anyone here, probably got a 11:26 photographic memory. 11:27 He was the brightest of all the angels. 11:30 When Jesus was meeting his temptations by saying, "It is 11:33 written, it is written," the devil went back, he says, I got 11:35 to regroup, okay, he wants to use the Bible. 11:38 I'll use the Bible. 11:40 And the devil came to Jesus again, he said, "If you're the 11:43 Son of God, throw Yourself down from the temple. 11:46 For it is written, 'He will give His angels charge of you." 11:49 And he began to misquote Psalm 91. 11:54 The devil knows enough. 11:56 He left out the part, "He'll give His angels charge over You 11:58 to keep You in all your ways." 12:00 He says, "Throw yourself down. 12:01 His angels will watch over you." 12:02 But Jesus came back and said, "You shall not tempt the name. 12:06 You shall not tempt the Lord your God," 12:08 quoting from Deuteronomy. 12:09 So you need to know your Bible so that if the devil has 12:14 ministers that are misquoting or distorting or reading things out 12:17 of context, you don't get deceived, friends, amen? 12:21 The devil is an expert at quoting and misquoting the Bible 12:25 for the purpose of deceiving people. 12:27 That's why it's essential that God's people know the scriptures 12:30 for themselves. 12:31 Some people think it's the pastor's job to read the Bible 12:34 and tell us what it means. 12:36 Oh no, you get into a lot of trouble like that. 12:39 Man doesn't live by bread alone, but by what? 12:43 How many of you need physical food every day? 12:46 Jesus is saying you need to live by every word. 12:48 You need spiritual food, and praise God, you live at a time 12:52 where you can have a Bible on your shelf, you can listen to it 12:55 in your car, you can read it on your phone. 12:58 There's no excuse for us not to have the Bible. 13:00 If you're blind, they've got it in braille. 13:02 I mean, everybody has access to the Word of God so we're 13:05 without excuse. 13:07 If we say, "Well, Lord, I didn't know." 13:09 We may be destroyed for lack of knowledge because we didn't care 13:12 to know. 13:13 But we can know if we want to know what the truth is, friends. 13:16 Number eight, whom on earth does the devil hate the most? 13:23 Now we're back in Revelation. 13:25 This is the last verse from Revelation chapter 12. 13:27 "The dragon," who's the dragon? 13:30 We already know that. 13:31 "Was wroth" or enraged, "with the woman." 13:34 Now that's a symbol. 13:35 Did we talk about that yet? 13:36 No. Who is the woman? 13:39 The Bible says, "Husbands love your wives even as Christ loves 13:43 the church." 13:44 The Bible tells us God says that the daughter of Zion is like a 13:50 delicate and a comely woman, speaking of his people. 13:53 All through the Bible, Hosea, he says, "My people, my bride have 13:57 been unfaithful to me." 13:59 So the dragon is wroth with the woman, but which woman? 14:03 There's some counterfeit churches out there. 14:06 "And he makes war." 14:07 This is the battle of Armageddon, "With the rest of 14:10 her offspring," this is talking about her seed, her descendants. 14:14 "Who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of 14:17 Jesus Christ." 14:19 This is the law and the prophets. 14:21 The devil is especially threatened with God's people 14:25 that have the law and the prophets. 14:26 That's the Word of God. 14:28 They are not only reading the Word, they're walking in the 14:31 commandments of the Lord. 14:33 They're being led by the spirit of prophecy, friends. 14:37 God wants us to have His Word and be filled with the Holy 14:40 Spirit, amen? 14:41 That's, you know, whoever this woman is, you 14:45 want to be part of that woman, why? 14:46 Because the devil's mad at her. 14:48 If you're making the devil happy, you're in the 14:51 wrong place. 14:53 You realize, friends, I hope I'm not scaring you, but in the last 14:57 days, you're going to make someone mad. 15:00 You just gotta decide who it is. 15:02 You're going to please and satisfy someone. 15:04 Do you want to please the Lord and make the devil angry or do 15:09 you want to please the devil and disappoint the Lord? 15:12 You cannot have it both ways. 15:14 Jesus said, "You're either with Me or against Me." 15:18 I would rather be on the winning team 15:20 because I've read the last chapter. 15:21 I know who wins, amen? 15:25 All right, "The dragon is wroth with a woman, keeps the 15:28 commandments of God." 15:29 Last prophecy in the Old Testament. 15:31 Remember the law of Moses. 15:33 Behold, I send you Elijah the prophet. 15:35 The law and the prophets, God's people have the Word of God. 15:38 Question number 9, what two deadly animals does the Bible 15:42 use to portray Satan? 15:45 You can read here in 1 Peter 5, verse 8, "Be sober, be vigilant: 15:51 because your adversary," the word Satan means actually 15:54 adversary, "Your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring 15:58 lion, seeking whom he might devour." 16:03 So he's compared in one place to a lion, and a lion uses stealth. 16:08 You know, a male lion will even eat its own cubs. 16:11 The females must protect the cubs from the male lion. 16:15 And the male lions actually don't do most of the hunting. 16:19 The females do. 16:20 The male lion, he'll go out upwind from where the zebra or 16:23 the wildebeests are. 16:25 He'll take a chest full of air. 16:26 He'll step out of the grass, he'll roar. 16:28 He'll make sure they all see him and then the animals run into 16:31 the mouths of the females that are hiding in the 16:33 other direction. 16:35 The devil will try to get you looking this way. 16:38 And you run that way, and that's exactly where he wanted you 16:41 to run. 16:43 I'm surprised how many people think the mark of the beast is 16:46 a tattoo. 16:49 Doesn't say that in the Bible. 16:50 Some versions even translate and he causes everyone to get 16:53 a tattoo. 16:54 Do you really think the devil is that dumb that in the last days 16:58 he's going to tell everybody to line up and someone's going to 17:00 have a big old, you know, stamp and you say come out, we're 17:02 going to put you go... "666, you don't mind, do you? 17:06 Forehead or the hand, just trust us, it'll be okay." 17:10 That's what some people are waiting for. 17:12 "I'm not getting 666 stamped on my forehead. 17:14 I'll be okay. 17:16 The devil wants people to be deceived, so they're walking 17:19 into the deception, walking away from the trick. 17:25 He is a deceiver. 17:27 Not only is he like a lion, the Bible says that he is like 17:29 a serpent. 17:31 "That great dragon cast out the" what? 17:34 "The serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan." 17:38 Why a serpent? 17:40 What was the first animal that the devil used as a medium to 17:43 deceive our parents? 17:45 It was the serpent that spoke to Eve. 17:48 Said, "Oh, I've been eating this fruit. 17:49 I know God said don't eat it, but look 17:50 what the fruit did for me, I can talk. 17:54 And if you eat it, you'll be like God." 17:56 What did the devil want? 17:57 To be like God. 17:59 And he implanted his own desires in our first parents. 18:03 And ever since then, our DNA has been messed up with sin, but 18:07 Jesus came to make us new creatures. 18:10 Jesus came as the second Adam. 18:13 And just like the first Adam fell, the second Adam overcame 18:16 and we can be overcomers through Christ. 18:20 Little amazing fact, you know, there's an island not far from 18:23 Sao Paulo, Brazil, they call it Snake Island. 18:26 And on that island, they've got so many snakes because they eat 18:30 the sea birds, there's one snake per square yard. 18:35 Nobody's allowed to go to that island because among the snakes 18:39 they've got the lancehead pit viper that 90% of the deaths in 18:44 Brazil are from this one snake. 18:46 It'll kill you right away. 18:48 Devils are--snakes, rather, are cold blooded. 18:50 The devil is cold blooded. 18:51 He does not care. 18:53 He's got venom. 18:54 But you know the good news, friends, Jesus said, "As Moses 19:00 lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so, the Son of 19:04 Man must be lifted up that whoever believes in Him might 19:07 not perish but have everlasting life." 19:10 Why did Jesus say that? 19:12 The children of Israel were being killed by a plague of 19:15 venomous serpents. 19:17 Shepherds used to carry staffs. 19:19 I lived in the mountains in the desert and I had a snake stick. 19:23 And I didn't reach out and just kill the snake with my hands. 19:25 I killed it with a stick. 19:27 And then you don't pick it up because you think they're dead 19:29 and they're not, they'll turn around and bite you. 19:32 And you don't want to step on the skeleton of a dead snake 19:34 because even the venom can still pierce your skin with the 19:37 dead fangs. 19:39 So when you kill a snake, you pick it up and you carry it off 19:42 out of the way of population off the trail and you bury it. 19:46 And the Hebrews knew a snake up on a pole meant a 19:50 defeated serpent. 19:52 And Jesus, when He went up on the cross, through His blood 19:56 that was spilled, He provided the anti-venom for the disease 20:00 of sin. 20:01 And He is offering you a blood transfusion so that you can be 20:06 saved from the power of sin, and some people think I've tried, I 20:09 don't know how it's possible, but through Christ, all things 20:12 are possible. 20:15 Now, I've not told you my story, but I was drinking and smoking 20:20 and using drugs, a thief, living immorally, and Jesus came into 20:24 my life and He changed me. 20:27 And He can give you victory and He can change you. 20:30 He can break the chains and set you free. 20:33 Number 10. 20:35 What's the only way that we can resist Satan? 20:39 The Bible says, "Therefore, submit to God. 20:42 Resist the devil and he will flee from you. 20:46 Draw near to God and He will draw near to you." 20:49 Do you realize every night that you tune into these meetings or 20:51 you come to this seminar, you are drawing near to God. 20:55 What does God promise? 20:56 I will draw near to you. 20:58 I hope you sense He's drawing near to you right now, friends, 21:01 and He will, and but you resist the devil. 21:05 The devil's going to say, "Oh, traffic's too much tonight. 21:09 Please come back Tuesday night. 21:13 We still got some room left. 21:15 Resist the devil and he will flee from you when 21:17 you're tempted. 21:18 And as you resist, God's power comes into your life, friends. 21:21 Number 11, how did Jesus fight the assaults of the devil? 21:27 "Jesus said to him, 'Away with you, Satan! 21:30 For,'" say it with me, "it is written." 21:35 Friends, there is power in the Word of God that sets us free. 21:40 Ephesians chapter 6, verse 17, "The sword of the Spirit, which 21:44 is the Word of God." 21:48 Hebrews chapter 4, verse 12. 21:50 "The Word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any 21:54 two-edged sword." 21:56 When David went out against the giant, and we all faced giants 21:59 of temptation. 22:01 He went out with a stone, and you know, the stone is a 22:03 symbol of the Word. 22:05 Jesus said, "These words that I speak to you, if you're wise 22:08 man, you will build on the rock." 22:11 And David killed Goliath. 22:14 Well, he didn't actually kill him yet. 22:15 He knocked him out with a rock, knocked him unconscious. 22:18 It sank into his forehead, he fell on his face. 22:21 Then David went over and he pulled out his sword and he 22:25 decapitated the giant. 22:27 You know, you kill a snake, cut off its head. 22:30 And when the devil comes to you with temptation, you pull out 22:34 the sword of the Spirit. 22:35 The Bible says, "Thy Word, I have hidden in my heart that I 22:38 might not sin." 22:39 And when you're tempted to be discouraged, you quote the 22:42 promises, "God has not given us the spirit of fear." 22:46 "Your word I've hidden in my heart that I might not sin 22:48 against You." 22:50 "Put on the whole armor of God, that you might be able 22:52 to stand." 22:54 Friends, you can stand against the wiles of the devil. 22:57 Jesus wants us to resist the devil. 22:59 Number 12, here's a good part. 23:03 What will be the final fate of Satan and his angels? 23:07 Are we going to be tempted to eternity? 23:09 Are we always going to be battling against evil? 23:12 Isaiah 14:15, it says, "You will be brought down to Sheol, to the 23:17 lowest depths of the pit." 23:19 He wanted the position of God, the highest, he's going to be 23:22 the lowest. 23:24 And Jesus who took the lowest position, who humbled Himself, 23:27 will be exalted and His name will be above every name. 23:31 If you humble yourself, you'll be exalted. 23:34 You exalt yourself, you'll be humbled. 23:36 The devil's principal problem was pride. 23:40 Jesus is motivated by love, meekness, humility. 23:45 "Take My yoke upon you," He says, "learn of Me, you will 23:48 find rest unto your souls," Matthew 11. 23:53 Matthew 25, verse 41, "He will say to those on the left hand," 23:57 is the parable of Jesus, "'Depart from Me, you cursed, 24:01 into the everlasting fire." 24:04 Now, did God prepare that fire for you and me or who is it 24:06 really prepared for? 24:08 The devil and his angels, but if you follow the devil and his 24:11 angels, you get the same reward. 24:15 "Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire 24:19 prepared for the devil and his angels." 24:21 Now, what it means here by everlasting fire is what that 24:23 fire does is permanent. 24:26 The devil's not coming back. 24:28 The result of that fire is forever, and those that go to 24:32 that fire, no resurrection from that friends. 24:34 It's called the second death in Revelation. 24:38 God is offering you life. 24:39 This time, this life is your chance. 24:42 This life is your probation. 24:44 "It's appointed unto man once to die, after that the judgment." 24:47 Don't think, "Well, I'll change my mind later in my next life 24:50 when I'm reincarnated." 24:51 Oh no, no. 24:53 You got one life, friends, amen. 24:54 Now is your time. 24:56 Today is the acceptable time. 24:57 Don't follow the devil into his doom. 25:01 "The devil, who deceived them, was cast into the," what? 25:05 "The lake of fire and brimstone" where the beast and the false 25:09 prophet are. 25:10 The Bible describes this punishment as the second death 25:13 from which there is no resurrection. 25:14 There's no parole. 25:16 Ultimately, the devil and his angels and all the wicked will 25:19 be consumed in these eternal flames. 25:22 It's the result of the fire is eternal. 25:25 Again, you can read in Ezekiel 28:18, "I brought forth a fire 25:29 from the midst of you," and it does what? 25:32 "It devours you, and I turned you to ashes upon the earth in 25:37 the sight of all who saw you." 25:39 In the final judgment, you can read about this in Revelation 25:42 chapter 20, Satan is going to make one final attempt. 25:45 We have a whole lesson on it. 25:46 To rally the forces of evil against God. 25:49 And the Bible says that God demonstrates to the whole 25:52 universe the devil is beyond repentance. 25:55 He's not going to change. 25:57 Don't wait for the devil to repent. 25:58 Doug: Friends, I hope you've been blessed by today's message, 26:01 but really, the reason we do this is so that people might 26:04 know Christ. 26:05 You know, information is not going to save us. 26:08 It's a relationship with Jesus, the one who died on the cross 26:11 for your sins. 26:12 You must personally accept Him. 26:14 And that's the most important thing and why we do 26:16 these programs. 26:17 If you've not asked Him into your heart before, then I'd 26:20 encourage you to do it right now. 26:21 His arms are open wide, just come to Him as you are and 26:25 ask Him. 26:26 Doug: Hi friends, I trust you're being blessed by what 26:29 you're watching. 26:30 If you want to be doubly blessed, then you're going to 26:32 want to get the Prophecy Odyssey study guides that go along with 26:35 these presentations. 26:37 There's 15 study guides, they're beautifully illustrated, and 26:40 they will greatly enhance your Bible comprehension. 26:43 So if you'd like to get them, simply follow the instructions 26:46 that you see on the screen. 26:47 You will be glad you did. 26:56 Doug: Friends, we learned a lot in our study today, but there's 26:59 still more. 27:01 If you'd like to better understand where Satan came 27:03 from, you're going to want to get the Amazing Facts study 27:06 guide, "Did God Create a devil?" 27:08 It's going to show you everything you need to know 27:10 about Satan and what it means for you today. 27:14 To get your copy, simply follow the instructions 27:17 you see there on the screen. 27:18 We'll send it to you absolutely free of charge. 27:21 You'll be glad you did. 27:23 ♪♪♪ 27:33 ♪♪♪ 27:43 ♪♪♪ 27:51 male announcer: You can become a Bible expert with the Amazing 27:54 Facts Storacles of Prophecy Bible study experience, 27:57 now available in 18 languages. 28:00 These 24 easy-to-read lessons 28:02 will give you confidence about what the Bible really says about 28:05 last day prophecy, the afterlife, and so much more. 28:09 Even better, it's absolutely free, at Storacles.com. 28:13 Don't miss out, get the answers you need for a happier, 28:16 healthier life today, at Storacles.com. 28:23 announcer: This presentation was brought to you by the Friends of 28:26 the Amazing Facts Ministry. |
