00:01 Okay.
00:02 Now what I have done, I'm interested in the bowls. 00:05 In the bowl. In the bowl. 00:07 You can actually do any combination of things. 00:09 Okay. 00:10 So you know at the end of the program, 00:11 they will see what the supper bowl looks like 00:13 because we took the black beans, 00:14 and we've got brown rice, and we got the plantains, 00:18 and we've also got some salad. 00:19 You're going to see it decorate at the end, all right? 00:21 So now we moved over to another bowl 00:23 which is the breakfast bowl. 00:25 So now we're covering all three. 00:27 We're covering the supper bowl... 00:29 Or lunch, supper. 00:31 Lunch? Uh-huh. 00:32 And then also the dinner. Yes. 00:34 Well, lunch and lunch depending on where you live. 00:36 Yeah. Depending on where you live. 00:38 Now this is the breakfast. 00:39 This is the breakfast one. 00:41 So called the healthiest 00:42 and most important meal of the day. 00:44 Absolutely, the most important meal. 00:46 Absolutely. 00:47 So with that, you know, we want to make sure 00:48 we get in the whole grains. 00:50 We want to make sure we get in the fruits, 00:51 and we want to make sure we get in the nuts 00:53 and the seeds 00:54 because it's a good way to start today. 00:56 They've seen over and over again 00:58 when the other children have gone to school 00:59 and they've had no breakfast at all. 01:01 But there's a difference in them being able to retain 01:05 or keep the information they have at school. 01:08 Yeah, the breakfast is so important, folks. 01:10 I mean, even the Bible talks about it. 01:12 I think it's Ecclesiastes 10:17. 01:15 I think that's it. 01:16 For the precious eat in due season, in the morning, 01:20 it says in the morning time. 01:22 And again breakfast in the morning time... 01:24 And how did that word breakfast got its name. 01:25 I think you know about that. You talk about that. 01:27 Well, you know, we talk about the fact breakfast, 01:30 split the word in half break, a fast. 01:34 So you've been fasting hopefully all night. 01:37 While you're sleeping. 01:39 Yes, you have not, 01:40 you've stopped eating at a certain time, 01:41 and you're now moving towards eating time, 01:43 and you want to stop eating all that food 01:44 before it starts getting real late, right? 01:46 So in the morning, you are hungry. 01:48 It's time to break the fast. Break the fast. 01:51 And you know what, I think sometimes 01:53 we turn that word around, fast break. 01:56 Fast break. 01:57 Coffee and donuts out the door. Out the door. 01:59 I mean, just turn the word around, fast break. 02:00 And, you know, also 02:01 when you do something like that, 02:03 like I know, for instance, if you're on a job 02:04 and you haven't had any breakfast, 02:06 and they have birthday parties, 02:08 they might bought cakes and cookies and pies in 02:10 to have a break time around 10 o'clock. 02:12 Oh! Yeah. Oh, yeah, yeah. 02:13 Now you might come to work with an attitude, 02:15 you know, you're upset you just, 02:17 you know, everybody, kids work your nerve and everything. 02:19 So then you go into the break room 02:21 and you get the dessert, 02:23 which is the donuts, the cookies, 02:24 the pie and all that stuff. 02:25 Refine carbohydrates. 02:27 And you come back to your desk and you are like, yo! 02:29 High. Feeling real good, all right? 02:31 You're gonna have a low that afternoon. 02:32 Oh, yeah, yeah. 02:33 You're gonna have a crash. 02:35 Because that glycemic index is it 02:36 we're eating the whole grain type food, 02:37 we're doing today. 02:39 It means that it goes slowly 02:41 so that we have a longer staying power for the food. 02:44 Where in when we eat something like 02:46 the cookies and the donuts... 02:48 Refine carbohydrates... What happens then? 02:50 That's a glucose spike. Spikes. 02:51 The high the spike, the greater the drop. 02:55 So now we are at the desk 02:56 and you've been there for about hours. 02:57 So after you've had the donut, 02:59 and now you got a real attitude. 03:00 You got the blues. Yeah. 03:02 You just aren't really feeling good at all about this pie. 03:04 Got the blue. 03:05 So now this is going to be more steam power the oatmeal. 03:08 And this is like quick old... 03:10 This is old-fashioned oats, 03:11 and there are a lot of oats on the market right now. 03:13 Remember? Right. Okay. 03:14 The wheat berries are out there, 03:16 you can cook them I just finished talking to someone 03:17 about the wheat berries. 03:18 You can cook those that have to cook 03:20 in a crock pot overnight 'cause you cannot cook them 03:21 like you would do a regular cereal 03:23 'cause you're gonna be unhappy. 03:24 Okay, but the bottom line is that 03:26 whatever your favorite oats are, 03:27 and try some of the new things on the market as your oats. 03:30 All right, what I've got, Curtis, 03:32 is I actually did the old-fashioned oats. 03:35 Do you have some raisins in there? 03:36 Well, you know, I know that you like 03:38 whenever we're doing oats make it up any kind of oatmeal, 03:40 you like it with raisins in that. 03:42 Right, okay. 03:43 brown raisins, regular raisins. That's true. 03:45 That's really good to kind of cook up in your cereal as well. 03:47 And so we've already got this made up 03:49 because we got to make another bowl 03:51 and this bowl is going to be the breakfast bowl. 03:54 I'm gonna tell you right now, 03:55 you can tell just from seeing is 03:57 that is going to be something 03:59 is going to be nice and healthy. 04:01 Now see there here on the side here 04:03 on the counter you had the other fruits 04:05 and things you're going to add to this as well. 04:07 So this is going to be a power packed, 04:10 nutrient dense breakfast bowl. 04:13 Yes, it is. Yes, it is. 04:14 It's gonna have everything it needs to have in it. 04:16 You don't have to have anything extra with it 04:18 because you have a day, 04:19 as matter of fact you get your fruit... 04:21 Yes. You got your grains. 04:22 Whole grains. That's right. 04:24 Okay, so now this can last I mean a person for 45 hours. 04:29 Oh, yeah. 04:30 Normally doing breakfast time real fast, 04:33 and coffee, donuts, whatever, it doesn't last, 04:35 and about two hours, we're hungry again. 04:37 You're hungry again. Yes, okay. 04:39 So I have down here really so that you can just see this. 04:42 And that is remember, you know, how we always do it, 04:44 you know that at the end of the show, 04:46 you know, you're going to see the finished product, right? 04:48 So what's going to happen is 04:49 I just bought out the fresh blueberries 04:51 and raspberries and walnuts and pumpkin seeds. 04:56 That's what's going to go on this bowl. 04:58 So if you will stay by, guess what? 05:00 You're going to see the supper bowl, 05:03 our lunch supper bowl that we prepared, 05:05 and you're also going to see the breakfast bowl. 05:07 So we want you just to stay by. 05:12 Okay, you know, 05:13 that we had to get that artistic talent. 05:17 You worked on this table, Baby. 05:19 So we didn't want just look like anything 05:21 'cause we want you to see 05:22 what you're actually seeing out there. 05:24 Yes. How you can make your own. 05:25 I mean, think about it. 05:26 If someone came in, 05:28 this is the one we did for to suffer. 05:29 Okay, and then that we had the black beans, 05:31 we had the plantains, we had the steam brown rice, 05:34 you know, and then we had the spinach 05:37 and that's the spinach like a salad. 05:39 So we're not cooking it, 05:41 and it makes a beautiful presentation. 05:43 So I'm gonna say this was one of the most beautiful bowls 05:45 I have ever seen. 05:46 I mean, just it's pretty, just gorgeous. 05:49 Not gorgeous, but gorgeous. Which makes you want to eat it. 05:51 And then we also made today, the breakfast bowl. 05:54 Breakfast bowl. Check out this. 05:56 This is, I mean, we've come down 05:57 and you got this going on, all right? 05:59 We've got... Go ahead, Baby. 06:01 Okay, we started off with the whole grain oats, okay? 06:03 We got the oats, old-fashioned oats, 06:05 and then underneath 06:06 and then on top of we got raspberries 06:08 and blueberries and walnuts, 06:11 and by the way that wasn't a cup of walnuts, 06:13 that was a half a cup of walnuts. 06:14 Oh, half a cup? Just half a cup? 06:16 And we got the pumpkin seeds. And the pumpkin seeds. 06:18 Isn't that neat? That's good for my prostrate. 06:21 All right. Yes, it is. 06:23 Now so... 06:25 Because I knew that you were going to... 06:27 Oh, I see something on the side. 06:28 Okay. I'm hiding this from you. 06:30 But anyway I know... 06:31 Yeah, okay. Well. 06:32 So I'm looking at the clock. 06:34 And so let's go with the plantain. 06:37 Or you said, plantain or plantain. 06:40 Depends on where you're from. Okay. 06:42 Plantain or plantain. 06:44 Okay, well, we're on 3ABN, so... 06:51 Okay, that will work right there. 06:53 Okay, now you want some raspberries. 06:57 Just wash down with some raspberries. 06:58 Oh, my goodness, we're out of time. 06:59 John 10:10, Jesus said, 07:01 "I come that they might have life 07:02 and have it more abundantly." |
