00:01 >> This medical event. And that motivates trains and equips
00:05 health professionals to share price with their patients. 00:09 In his presence, we and our patients find rest home and 00:13 powerful healing. Take hold of guns, problems, abided his 00:17 presence and experience to surrender 00:21 to faithfully minister as he did. 00:23 [MUSIC] 00:28 [MUSIC] 00:33 >> Buddy, 00:35 that was loud and wonderful. Welcome to a man conference 00:38 with a high Sabha to be able to spend this time together with 00:42 friends and new friends from near and far. So welcome today. 00:46 Those of you that have just arrived. We're so grateful to 00:49 have you here and those of you on live stream. Welcome to. 00:52 We're so happy to celebrate Sabbath and spend this time 00:55 with guide with you as well in your homes 00:59 as we open up to this morning's divine Service. Let's bow our 01:02 heads for a word of prayer. 01:05 Dear Heavenly father, thank you so much for the gift of Sabbath 01:10 for these moments that we are able to spend truly. 01:14 >> Relax in your presence as well as Tulare burdens at your 01:18 feet. And Lord made the distractions of our weeks may 01:21 hard to do lists mean nothing coming the way of what the but 01:24 what blessings you have in store for us today, Mayor minds 01:28 be attuned and large. We ask for an outpouring of the holy 01:30 spirit on this room that our hearts truly will be changed 01:34 today and your heavenly name. We pray these things. A man. 01:51 Good morning and happy Saturday. 01:53 And so. 01:55 >> I want to introduce here today, a vital member of our 01:58 team. Her name is Nicole Braxton, and she is our new 02:02 full-time, Amen, Free Clinic director. 02:05 And so as a part of our efforts to ramp up or clinic program, 02:09 Nicole will be leading that charge in her role as the 02:12 clinic director. 02:13 And so right now, I want to take the time to 02:17 ask Nicole a couple questions about clinics, Nicole, for 02:20 those of us who are here, who may not know what the amen 02:23 Clinics are, what are even free clinics and 02:27 why do we organize them? 02:28 >> Yes, tactician, even free clinics are a wonderful 02:32 mechanism and way for us to reach the community to share 02:36 free health care for medical dental and vision services to 02:41 the 02:43 underserved community members. And it's a great opportunity 02:48 where we have health care providers that volunteer their 02:51 time to serve their community to serve as the wedge to the 02:55 gospel. 02:56 >> So that you you mentioned that it serves as an intern 02:59 wedge to to the Gospel message, how to Amen Clinics function as 03:04 the right arm of the Gospel message. 03:06 >> Yes, a made free clinics act as a catalyst, the community 03:11 and they part every partner directly with the local church 03:16 to serve 03:17 and Maine beacon of hope in terms of healing die quickly in 03:23 the community. And what we do is when we go to the churches, 03:27 we have follow-up programs that are organized prior to us air. 03:32 So post are Ayman free clinics. We are able to invite patients 03:37 directly at our clinics to our follow-up programs. So it 03:41 serves as a wedge to the Gospel in the sense that we have 03:45 evangelistic programs, health programs that are already 03:49 preplanned. So that patients are invited to join that 03:53 relationship with the church and we utilize health care and 03:59 it really combines medicine and mission and ministry directly 04:04 at our aim and free clinics. 04:06 >> What I'm hearing you say is that 04:08 the clinic isn't the be all and all we organize clinics, 04:11 right? Yes. So it sounds like what we're doing is focusing on 04:16 the local church and focusing on the follow-up that comes up 04:19 after the clinic event because ultimately, if all we do is 04:24 clean some teeth and do some health screenings and that's 04:27 it, 04:28 that's of limited impact. 04:30 But what we want the medical work to do is to drive to 04:32 community to the doors of the church, Pew friend, the 04:35 volunteers, the members of the church 04:37 to get plugged in which church programs and as a result of 04:40 doing that, to have long-term follow-up that will result in 04:43 change lives and decisions for the Lord. 04:46 So we want a man to act as a catalyst is. Nicole was saying 04:49 where the church becomes the central focus of all that we 04:52 do. The right arm of the Gospel has to function as a right arm 04:56 and opening doors and we're taking a revamped looked at how 05:01 to make Amen Clinics a more effective to that cause. 05:07 To that point, Nicole, if someone here wanted to host a 05:11 name and free clinic in their church or someone wanted to 05:14 volunteer to lend their services to a clinic, but what 05:18 they do, how can they do that? 05:20 >> Yes, we're actively taking request to host clinics at 05:25 churches. You can go to Ayman Free Clinic Dot Org. If you're 05:29 interested in hosting a clinic, you can also scan this QR code 05:34 that is on the screen and you can join our network. So if you 05:39 are a health care professional, you would like to get involved 05:42 and medical missionary work and changing lives. You could go 05:46 and scanned the QR code or go to a man free clinic dot org 05:51 and join our upcoming clinics where we have over 12 clinics 05:56 that are coming up. 05:58 >> So there's a lot of health professionals in this room and 06:01 there are a lot of non balsam non-health professionals in 06:04 this room as well. So it's just simply just Florida health care 06:07 professionals. So we just want doctors and dentists at these 06:09 clinics next. Ali question, Doctor, Shannon? 06:12 >> We welcome all. We would like non medical volunteers as 06:17 well as medical volunteers to serve at our clinics. 06:21 We have health care providers that provide medical dental 06:24 vision and add-on services. And if you are not my medical 06:28 volunteer, you can serve in multiple areas such as 06:31 registration. Security has put howdy. You can pray with 06:36 patients amongst many other things. 06:38 >> Now the call I've had people ask me and they say, you know, 06:42 I have friends who are health care professionals or friends 06:45 who love to do humanitarian work. 06:48 But some are not at this the summer non-Christian, are they? 06:52 Can they play a role at these clinics to? 06:54 >> Absolutely. Come all are welcome. The excellent thing 06:59 that I like to share as I've been working with different 07:01 churches, I have found that actually non Adventists 07:06 volunteers. There are some that have come to our clinics that 07:08 have volunteered and have become that ties members of our 07:13 church. So invite them. This is an excellent way for us to 07:16 partner together as the body of Christ with believers and 07:21 nonbelievers and serve the community to meet their 07:23 immediate needs. 07:24 >> A man. So we're not just ministering only to the 07:28 community and the public who comes in for the free health 07:30 care. We're also ministering to the volunteers and for everyone 07:33 who comes in takes a part of this. I believe that one of the 07:36 most effective way to change the lives of health care 07:40 providers and volunteers is to allow them to have a front row 07:43 seat to seeing people's lives change through the power of the 07:47 love of Christ. So if you know anyone who has a heart to 07:50 serve, if you have office staff who would like to join you in 07:54 this endeavor, all are welcome to volunteer. And so you saw 07:58 that QR code that was displayed and a man free clinic Dot org 08:01 is to Ayman website. You can go there to find information about 08:05 our most closely upcoming clinics. And also if you want 08:10 to either volunteer your services or if you're 08:13 interested in hosting an Amen, Free clinic in your church, 08:17 you can submit your request here. 08:21 We're doing something different this year. Are we Nicole, 08:24 this not just business as usual because for those of you who 08:26 may not be aware, the clinics are free clinics have been 08:30 around for over a decade. So this is nothing new. But 08:33 during the time of COVID because of the pandemic, 08:35 we had to shut down a clinic operations and essentially 08:38 we're rebuilding our clinic operations from scratch again. 08:42 But this time we're trying something different and 08:45 involves a certain project in Michigan said the call, which 08:48 like to tell us about what's happening in Michigan. 08:50 >> Absolutely. A lot of exciting things are happening 08:54 with their Ayman free clinics and what we're doing, 08:56 particularly in Michigan, in addition to the clinics that 09:00 you can go ahead and register now for and to host a clinic. 09:04 We are doing a new partnership with the Michigan Conference of 09:09 7th Day Adventists and we are growing our impact in the 09:14 community and our new partnership through Michigan. 09:17 We are going to do 10 new clinics with a subsidy. So 09:24 we're partnering with the Michigan Conference to decrease 09:28 the cost an average clinic costs about $30,000, which is a 09:32 lot for some churches and smaller churches. So we wanted 09:36 to make this more assessable to the average church and to help 09:42 further the gospel through medical evangelism and in doing 09:45 so. We have through our partnership, broken up the cost 09:49 to a 3rd for each entity. A 3rd of the cost is supported 09:54 by the Michigan Conference, a 3rd through a man and a 3rd 09:57 through the local church. So we're making this more 10:00 assessable through this pilot program with the conference and 10:04 hopes that conferences and entities throughout the U.S. 10:08 will catch the vision and help us to continue to further that 10:12 medical leave and you work through a made free clinics. 10:14 >> So partnering with the conference has a twofold 10:17 purpose. One is to engage pastors and church officials 10:20 more because this is a blended work. We cannot do this just 10:24 with the health ministry by itself. It has to the right arm 10:27 has to be linked to the body of the gospel message has to work 10:29 with Costabile ministers. 10:31 But the second purpose is that we want these Ayman free 10:34 clinics are not free. As Nicole mentioned, the average 300 10:37 patient clinic costs $30,000. Many churches cannot afford 10:40 this. So we want this to be affordable for more churches. 10:44 And we're trying to get conference involvement 10:46 in order to help subsidize these costs so that clinics can 10:50 be available for more churches, which may not be able to 10:53 otherwise hosted clinic and in order to help this pilot 10:56 program off its feet, a man is putting in $10,000 per clinic 11:00 as well in the Michigan Conference. And we have 11:03 committed $100,000 total to get this off the ground. And our 11:06 hope is to then use this as a blueprint in 2 creating 11:10 partnerships with other conferences across the country. 11:13 And the goal is to reach a level of sustainability. 11:16 So going forward, Nicole, what is what is the vision for? 11:20 Amen clinics? Yes. 11:23 >> The vision for a minute for free clinics is for us to 11:26 create a way that we can scale or a man free clinics and 11:30 empower the local churches to host these clinics and become 11:34 affiliates of or Ayman Free clinic program. And 11:38 particularly with of the Michigan Partnership, we're 11:41 projecting in addition to our other clinics to serve 11:44 approximately and work alongside 5,000 community 11:48 members that are coming up. So we're really, really 11:51 excited. So with our commitment of $100,000, we're we're 11:56 excited to start this. New partnership in our vision is 12:00 for us to grow a man free clinics across the United 12:03 States and beyond. 12:06 >> We have realized that if Amen Clinics is dependent on a 12:11 single team of individuals, no matter how motivated, no matter 12:13 how hard working, 12:16 there's no way that one team can do the hundreds 100's of 12:20 clinics that churches around the country want to host. 12:25 So what we want to do is act as the catalyst. We want to teach 12:29 the teachers. We want to help churches and conferences and 12:32 leaders to catch this vision of the plan to ministry to 12:36 experience what it's like to have this kind of a free health 12:39 clinic in their church to experience the results, to 12:42 catch that vision and to take ownership of it so that men can 12:46 move on to train other churches and other conferences. So we 12:50 want to start a movement. That is what the vision is for 12:52 him in free clinics. We want to work ourselves out of a job. 12:57 We want a local church. We want the conferences and the unions 13:00 to take ownership of this to make this an evangelistic 13:03 priority in their yearly cycle. Amen. Yes, the men and so now 13:08 to highlight the impact that our most recent Amen Clinic had 13:12 we'd like to play for you a video now that gives you a real 13:15 of testimonies of what happened in Calhoun, Georgia a few 13:19 months ago. 13:19 [MUSIC] 13:23 >> This has been amazing. 13:26 It has been a great opportunity to get the community into the 13:31 church to see that we want to help them. And it's just been 13:35 neat to see all of the needs that have been met. One lady 13:38 told me today I've been waiting 2 and a half years 13:41 to get my teeth look down because they've been hurting me 13:44 that long. And she has. This has been a godsend for me and 13:48 I'm like, yeah, this is awesome. 13:49 >> Yeah. Had the dental then because I had been having the 13:52 party in my town. It was scraping. May my my out and 13:55 everything I did that nobody can do anything because I had 13:58 lost my taste buds. I couldn't everything changed its taste. 14:03 The town was being cut out paces in late in constantly. 14:06 You don't want to talk about dance, too, because you know, 14:08 you can afford it and you just keep. Thank him. I'll live with 14:12 this all live with this secret smiling. I just write about 14:15 Mike Tyson not play a frantic contact. Maine said I have 14:20 going to be doing this Martin here and I was like, wow, 14:23 we've got to get down there and I sat down with him. And in 30 14:25 minutes, peace moves. All these ref ages, all meals in this 14:29 taste. I'm like, oh, my God. I can't believe this is being 14:33 and then in my life can change. In 30 man. I looked at my 14:37 mouth. They have been locked. This its radiation from cancer 14:41 had just destroyed the bottom part of my mouth. 14:43 >> And to thank the hit going there, knew his time. And 14:46 though this second place, I've got neighbors that made this 14:50 right now, but that didn't even know anything about it. Well, 14:53 they want to maybe check it out. And I said you better go 14:55 to this one. Nice and warm it. They'll have another one. 14:58 I know people that sit indoors won't get out because of their 15:01 case that can afford it. They won't get out due to their 15:04 vision, somebodys running all their errands or it's made. 15:08 So by 10 room, God had to be working in these people that 15:12 pride with may. And everybody that came up was so nasty. 15:15 So plays it. Well, I can't wait to go until my family and other 15:18 people about have God work in this town here. 7 that managed 15:22 it was it's been a real like you could just see the people 15:25 coming in here. And they're like, this is an answer to 15:26 prayer. We've been eating this for so long. 15:30 >> So it gets my heart. 15:33 You know, 15:34 I just helps me realize that God was through this the whole 15:36 process because you can see that people are being blessed 15:41 and that they needed. And what we've met our goal and on the 15:45 on the 300 that we aimed to meet for this clinic, we just 15:49 we did want to keep it small because it was our first time. 15:51 But I can see how easily if we did this a second time around, 15:55 we could double our numbers without even trying because now 15:58 that people have come in, they've seen what we're doing. 16:01 We'll come again and they'll bring their friends. So there's 16:03 definitely a need to. 16:05 >> Best part of the clinic says it experiencing God and seeing 16:10 people blessed by the services we provide. And everybody 16:14 should experience being a part of an event like this because 16:18 God has created us to love and to serve others. And there's 16:25 nothing quite like it. We're serving each other when we're 16:28 setting up. We're serving people as they're here and the 16:32 benefits and the experience of following up with them 16:36 afterwards. It's all part of creating relationships that are 16:40 lasting 16:41 and hopefully for attorney. 16:43 >> You know, the holistic message of of the physical 16:47 wellness and the spiritual coming together. So absolutely 16:51 I I think more than ever and has as Christ Condit for Chris 16:55 Collins. I think we need to have 16:57 things like this. 16:59 >> So I've been in the 7 that his ministry this much 22nd 17:02 year. 17:03 >> And I have never seen a clinic run this efficiently. 17:08 I appreciate everything from the materials, online 17:12 registration process and the deliberate idea of mingling the 17:18 gospel with the health Ministry. I believe that there 17:21 are ways to express this in multiple forms, but the way 17:24 Amen Clinic and others brings people from all of the country 17:29 to make sure that people are taking care of is a multiply 17:32 blessing to the body of Christ, but also to the community. 17:36 There are scores of people in this community who are better 17:38 as a result of the M and playing. And I believe that. 17:41 >> This this initiative ought to be one that should be 17:45 multiplied throughout our country, water division and 17:49 also do territories around this great World Church. 17:53 [MUSIC] 17:58 [MUSIC] 17:59 >> All right. I am here with Georgia, Big Ellie and Georgia. 18:04 Can you please introduce yourself 18:06 and to tell us 18:08 about the payment student ministry in your involvement in 18:11 it? 18:12 >> As a as you say, my name is Joyce. The I'm a medical 18:15 student at Loma Linda currently between my 3rd and 4th year of 18:18 medical school. 18:19 I'm the president for student chapter of the men 18:22 and we have a student after a minute. Loma Linda that meets 18:27 every second of it of the month. 18:29 We've really focused on the mentorship program. So we have 18:32 fellowship meals and enters home. And it's a great 18:35 opportunity to get together and meet like-minded people and, 18:40 you know, kind of the mine to each other. Why we came 18:43 here and by the perceived this particular training. 18:47 >> You mentioned then the students in this game and 18:50 student chapter meet on the second Saturday of every month 18:53 to meet at a mentor is home. 18:56 I guess that means that there's such a thing as a mentor 18:58 assistant there. Can you tell us more about that? 19:00 >> Yes, there is. So a lot of physicians here even here and 19:06 dentists are the majority of our mentors. 19:09 And you can find a lot of them on the website, the ones that 19:14 are directly involved with our chapter, the ones who are local 19:17 in the Melinda. But I know that there's lots of other mentors 19:20 across the states, too. 19:23 >> When you're 19:25 talking about the experience of the students from a student 19:28 standpoint, how important what its would you say? It is for a 19:31 student to be plugged into 19:34 a mentor or to see an example 19:37 how to practice medicine or dentistry in a way that 19:41 integrates your faith into practice. How important is that 19:44 for you as a student's to shine? 19:46 >> I think it's very important and I think it's very easy 19:49 cheering training to kind of lose sight of why you 19:53 the reason that you're doing what you're doing. So it's very 19:56 important in my mind to be connected to people who are 20:01 further ahead of you and who are practicing faith 20:04 in their practice and what kind of how we structure it at the 20:09 fellowship meals is the in the afternoon. We have time for 20:11 discussions and the mentors off and help lead out in the 20:15 discussions and they incorporate stories of how they 20:18 share their faith, that patients and the family. 20:20 And it's just very beautiful, very practical. 20:23 >> So the purpose of the student ministry is to help 20:26 preserve the faith of students through the rigors of training. 20:30 And for those of you who went through medical training, 20:32 dental training, health care training, you know, that it's 20:35 very easy to become a product of the world. You know that 20:38 it's easy to lose division that got his place in your heart 20:42 because you become so one-dimensional and focus on 20:44 academics. And the goal of the game in student chapter is to 20:49 help students to find other like-minded students who have 20:51 this passion to encourage each other, not to lose that vision 20:54 and to plug them in with faculty with full-time 20:57 practitioners in the surrounding area, improper 20:59 practices who maintain that fission and apply it in their 21:02 daily lives. So now, Georgia, if someone here 21:07 I felt impressed to become a mentor to offer their guidance. 21:12 There was some of the council to students to nurture this 21:15 next generation. What can they do to become involved as a 21:17 mentor? 21:19 >> Not exactly sure. All the steps that they would have to 21:21 take that there is a mentorship page. I'm on the websites. 21:26 I'm assuming just look at the website and find out how to do 21:30 it. 21:31 >> You go to a man St ate out or G haha or mentorship. 21:36 And there is. And if you have the ability to both browse to 21:40 catalog of current mentors or to sign up as a mentor yourself 21:45 and you would submit your information, obviously your 21:47 background, but also areas of interest that you have in terms 21:51 of ministries. So the students who are interested in seeing 21:55 things that you may be experienced and can single you 21:58 out as someone they want to contact. So, for example, 22:01 if you have significant experience or interest in 22:04 overseas missions or if you have experience running your 22:07 own practice with a mission focus, these are things that 22:11 students may want to hone in on to say, oh, I want to reach out 22:14 to this meant to art. So if you feel impressed to offer your 22:18 services and to to become a name and mentor, I encourage 22:21 you to visit a messy dot org and to sign up to be a mentor, 22:27 Georgia, for students who may not be aware that a student 22:30 ministry exists. What can they do to participate in the 22:33 student Ministry Weather? 22:35 I Lo Melinda or at a non-local into school. 22:39 >> Well, if you're at Loma Linda, we send out e-mails to 22:42 the medical school in dental school, which are the schools 22:45 that were targeting with the mentorship program. So you'll 22:48 be aware of our events coming up through the mail. We have a 22:53 booth here. It's the 3rd test. It's the one that doesn't have 22:56 anything on it at the moment 22:58 that will be standing there. And I've already met a couple 23:01 of students who aren't from the line and showed interest in the 23:05 ministry and want to, you know, have something similar like 23:08 this at their schools. So we'll we'll exchange details that 23:11 way. 23:12 >> You may see the name a Mesa am. Yes, that stands for the 23:16 Adventist Medical Evangelists in the student association. 23:19 That is the name of the student chapter of the men at Loma 23:23 Linda. But we would love to start these chapters elsewhere 23:26 as well. And we're fully aware that there are medical 23:28 students, dental students, other health care profession, 23:30 students who go to secular programs who feel like islands 23:34 of faith in a sea of unbelief. And we want to create a 23:37 thriving online community for them as well. And so if you 23:40 want to be involved in our EMA Network of students, please 23:43 reach out to either Georgia or myself, 23:46 come visit the booth and see how you can get connected. 23:48 We have various resources for you. 23:51 So now, Georgia, 23:53 at the end of the day, what impact has a man had 23:57 for you and for students that, you know? 24:01 >> I think it's just been a great, great way to connect 24:04 with people who are like-minded. Remind each other, 24:07 encourage each other along the way. It's it's always lovely to 24:10 fellowship and have. 24:12 >> Free food and 7. He them come. Yes, it's our it's not 24:19 just about the food, I'm sure, but it is it. 24:22 >> And we just love hanging out. The mentors are wonderful. 24:26 Just the hospitality that they've shown us. Their 24:28 humility always blows me away every month. 24:31 And then, of course, without the support of the mentors and 24:36 the members, if they meant students would be able to come 24:38 and participate here on the weekend conference. And I know 24:42 this is a great time for revival for many of us. 24:46 >> With all the students in the audience, please stand for me 24:49 right now. If you are a student who are who is here on a 24:52 student's subsidy, could you please stand? 25:06 They represent the future 25:08 and bake. They could not be here without your support. 25:13 So thank you for those of you who have donated generously to 25:17 enable students like these to tend this weekend. 25:20 It's now get before we end here, too. I know that we have 25:23 a special guest bit like to call upon the stage. Is that 25:26 right? 25:27 >> Yes, this is my friend to me who actually went to undergrad 25:30 at we more with it. And she's currently at 30 and a good 25:33 student. And she would like to share how a man who is blessed 25:37 terror as well. 25:39 >> So welcome. You mean, can you tell us about who you who 25:41 you are and what level what state you are in your training? 25:45 Hi, my name is you make a myth there during medical student. 25:48 So their medical school so you need how has attending the 25:52 conference this year impacted your life 25:56 one more step towards life, turn you away from death 26:03 in terms of what the Lord has done for you. In your 26:07 experience here at the conference so far, can you tell 26:09 us what impact the fact that donors have allowed you on a 26:14 subsidy to come here without having to pay? 26:18 What has that done to bring a blessing to your life? 26:25 >> As I was growing up and as my upbringing was not very 26:30 pleasant and domestic violence, my father's Michael Holley and 26:34 that 26:35 so financial struggles. And and always I wanted to I have no 26:40 home. But finally, I met God in my life and it was 23 and long 26:44 story short. And God has given me this reason to become a 26:47 medical missionary. And that got from a medical school, 26:50 the money into medical school. And I started to journey, 26:53 but the journey was a lot a lot a lot harder than I had 26:57 thought. Analysts I started and 27:00 with a justify my bully was just has the sixmonth back then 27:06 and also my husband at the same time, the same program, medical 27:09 student. 27:10 And it was really, really hard and financially was burdensome 27:15 and then physical stress and mental stress, emotional 27:18 stress. And it was overwhelming. 27:21 There are some seaside of cars involved, but then still I 27:25 could make it to that 30 year. But then I started my surgery 27:28 rotation about 2 months ago. 27:30 And but there was really a time that I wanted to run away from 27:34 the hospital and then losing a hope and then got I don't know 27:38 why I'm here and the what and the why I should become a 27:41 doctor. I was losing hope. And also I was losing the 27:44 purpose of my life also as well. 27:47 I was struggling, struggling, cry and cry, 27:50 but I couldn't really find any come for it. And then, but 27:54 >> in between and then and then and then some meetings and kind 27:58 of a kind of refreshing to me as to what kind of reminded me 28:02 why I was here. So when Georgia asked me, if you catch, if I 28:05 could share my testimony with the people here, I said yes, 28:11 and it got rid of the wars and actually was really got to the 28:15 point that he set the last week. 28:21 I was one step away from death. 28:25 One more step. I can end this pain. 28:29 My hands are shaking. 28:31 There was a severe struggle between good and evil between 28:35 God and Satan. Satan jump off 28:41 made me and offered this prayer. 28:44 God, please help me. 28:46 I was struggling. There was such a hard struggle 28:51 finally got long 28:53 and then I stepped down 28:56 and gosh showed me the verses 28:58 and I could injure a few more dollars. But again, the pain 29:02 came that I could use to find the meaning of my life. 29:05 And then the following day 29:08 us Monday, it happened last Abba Monday. I got a result 29:13 myself since surgery self-exam. I felt by one point 29:18 for me, it was a sign. This is it. Let's quit. 29:22 And that a meeting with a D doctor could Tonys 29:26 and he was telling me you can take retake the exam at the end 29:30 of 3rd year. But for me, that was it. I told him I would like 29:34 to discontinue medical school 29:39 you made. This is such a life changing decision. Let's not 29:42 make a decision right now. 29:44 I said, OK, 29:47 I cried, cried and screamed at got got as such the pay 29:53 and you seem to be complete in silence. It might pay. 29:58 I did not know why I should leave. You created me without 30:01 my agreement. But I'm going through the suffering. You need 30:05 to answer my questions. But he didn't seem to answer my 30:08 question. 30:10 The time was coming. I had to decide whether or not to come 30:13 to this meeting were not. 30:15 And I wanted to cancel. It was Thursday. 04:00PM. 30:19 I was to steal this. It should I go or not, 30:23 but financially and that we would we didn't have to worry 30:26 about this because a Mensa and MN conference paid all this for 30:29 us financially where Britain but and this. We didn't have to 30:33 worry about it 30:35 but had to make a decision. 30:37 I didn't want to anything which was related to thought I hit. 30:41 You got I complain to thought God, you put me in this 12, 30:45 even you stop me from killing myself. 30:48 You have to answer this question. 30:51 I was listening to one of the testimonies and then a panel of 30:54 the guests was speaking coding Ezekiel Chapter 16, 6 saying 30:58 that you in a lot less. 31:02 I turned it off because that was the most painful message I 31:05 could there 31:06 got you didn't even me a pain killer. But you still keep 31:10 asking me to live to see its not fair. 31:14 I asked in my husband, please pray if we could come here on 31:19 not if he should come here or not. 31:21 My husband told me I don't know why, but I feel strongly 31:25 impressed that we should come. 31:28 So even I really didn't want to come. But I always had the 31:31 feeling that this really feeling I have to come. So I K 31:37 and then yesterday it was listening to the doctor at the 31:41 Scott Nelson is the story. 31:45 Where's the TSA? Is Haiti 31:48 ice El Pais? Also at the same time, I could see Healy 31:53 and little bit and the debate. I could feel that I was 31:57 reviving again 31:59 and in the afternoon for the first time in 2 weeks I was 32:04 able to sleep. 32:06 I was stress. 32:09 I was says this has to decide whether they should to Georgia 32:11 and Doctor Ihsan. I cannot share this testimony. 32:16 I took a nap and I walk off right after I was waking up 32:20 Samaritan a story of this and everything came to my might. 32:25 And I was wondering, why should I come here? And then he was 32:28 the answer 32:30 prepared this summer heat and good neighbors. 32:33 You guys 32:36 paid for this meal 32:38 and this launching I could come 32:42 rest 32:43 and rejuvenating 8 and seeking got a game 32:47 and cost 32:48 in cross again. 32:51 I'm going to have a meeting this coming Monday, but doctor 32:54 could Danis. 32:56 I know the answer, but to say 33:00 I can do today 33:02 and this is it your chapter 16 6 and I can read it 33:06 this time. 33:08 It sounds like this. 33:09 Jesus 33:11 in a lot 33:12 says to me 33:16 and I say 33:18 I do my sword 33:20 under the 8th. 33:22 Thank you very much for your generous support and I really 33:25 appreciate it. 33:28 Thank you so much, 33:48 France. 33:50 The students are future. 33:52 This is why we do what we do. 33:55 >> If it wasn't for your generous support, we could not 33:58 offer subsidies to people like you need to come here 34:02 who are at a tipping point in their lives where there's a 34:05 spiritual warfare going on. And by attending this 34:07 conference, she felt the desire 34:10 to both go on in life and in her academics. 34:15 So praise God for how he sees. And then 34:17 I also want to remind you, 34:20 I was mentored by the organization as a student. 34:24 And I cannot imagine that one day I would be on the stage 34:27 talking to you as the president of the organization since some 34:31 ways you can. You can consider me those first fruits of your 34:34 generous, giving 34:40 his focus and accomplishing 3 things. 34:43 We want to motivate train and equip 34:45 everyone. But starting with healthcare professionals 34:49 on how to conduct effective medical ministry work. 34:53 We want to ensure that when we do medical ministry work, 34:56 it is always combined with ministry. The blended work is 35:00 so essential 35:02 and last, but not least we want to inspire the next generation 35:06 because that is our future. 35:08 Everything that we do is focus on fulfilling one or more of 35:12 these 3 key objectives. 35:16 You see, we're excited to see all the doors that got us open 35:18 to us in terms of the various ministry projects we've 35:21 outlined for you today from clinics to the student ministry 35:25 toward media projects 35:28 into the sand. We ask for your prayers. That lives will be 35:32 changed as a result. 35:34 But a man is a donor supported ministry. 35:37 The only reason why we've come this far is because of your 35:40 generous giving. And the only way we will continue is because 35:43 of what the holy Spirit does through you to continue to 35:45 generously support us. 35:48 And as you know, there's a large cost associated with 35:50 organizing a conference such as this 35:53 post-pandemic, the cup of everything has gone up, 35:56 including hotels and conference rooms 36:00 and in order to keep 36:02 the price point and a place where it successful to the most 36:05 number of people, 36:07 their registration fee that we charge for this conference does 36:10 not cover our costs. 36:14 We also have over 100 students, missionaries, pastors, trainees 36:19 and volunteers here who are on a subsidy from amen. So they 36:23 can attend, including people like you mean 36:26 and the total cost of subsidizing all these people to 36:28 attend. 36:29 He's over $215,000. This year alone. 36:34 We do this so that lives can be changed. We believe that this 36:37 is a worthy investment returns of which will not be seen in 36:41 this lifetime alone. But also all the tourney team 36:47 following the pandemic donations have been down. 36:51 And since then, we've been quickly burning through our 36:53 financial reserves because we have committed to projects like 36:57 this one in Michigan with the amen Clinics where a man is 37:00 putting $100,000 down in order to encourage and inspire 37:05 churches and the Michigan Conference to engage in 37:08 effective medical ministry work. 37:10 We've hired 2 new full-time staff in order to make these 37:13 clinics happen. 37:14 And unless we have a substantial increase in 37:16 donations, now, a man will not be able to continue these 37:20 initiatives that we started in the very near future. 37:24 In addition to this, as you've seen throughout the conference, 37:27 we have various media projects that we're excited about the 37:29 waiting room videos that you're seeing. We would love to 37:32 complete this. And we're partnering with other 37:34 ministries such as amazing facts end in sight. But we do 37:38 need funds to complete the project. 37:40 The the devotional cities that many of you have participating 37:44 in filming. 37:45 This is also an additional expense. But we believe that it 37:48 merits the finances because we want to keep people inspired, 37:52 engage in being mission true all throughout the year. 37:56 So to cover all of these costs, we need to raise at least 38:00 $450,000. 38:03 That is our need. And I am fully confident that the Lord 38:07 will provide because this is his ministry. 38:10 I believe that he has placed upon our hearts to engage in 38:13 these projects because he owns a cattle on 1000 hills and he 38:17 has 1000 ways of providing for us which we know nothing off. 38:20 So that's why I stand here today to ask you to prayerfully 38:24 consider if God is moving on your heart 38:27 to donate generously. 38:29 Have you been blessed by anything this weekend? Have you 38:32 been blessed by being here? 38:35 Prayerfully? Consider if God is asking you to contribute to 38:38 this ministry, 38:40 if you believe in our vision of spreading the gospel medical 38:43 missionary, work through the arm, affected medical ministry 38:47 and for inspiring and equipping and training health care 38:50 workers to do this. 38:52 And I ask you to stand with us now 38:54 on your seat. There should be an envelope that you can use to 38:57 fill out a donation. 38:59 You can also donate electronically by scanning the 39:02 QR code on your envelope or there will be one that's 39:05 displayed on screen shortly. So you can donate that way as 39:08 well. 39:09 If you don't happen to have an envelope or if you don't have a 39:13 pen, please raise your hand so that the ushers can come by and 39:18 giving an envelope or a pen. 39:21 We're going to have a special music number now. 39:24 It's to give you time to fill out your donation slips. 39:27 But during this time, even if you cannot donate your 39:30 finances, I pray that you will donate your prayers, 39:35 pray that the Holy Spirit will move on the hearts of those who 39:37 have the ability to give to give generously so far as 39:41 they're called. 39:42 And once the song is over, I'm going to come out again and I'm 39:46 going to pray 39:48 pretty offerings and they will collect the offerings, followed 39:50 by another musical number. 39:52 So thank you. 39:53 [MUSIC] 39:58 [MUSIC] 40:03 [MUSIC] 40:08 [MUSIC] 40:13 [MUSIC] 40:18 [MUSIC] 40:23 [MUSIC] 40:28 [MUSIC] 40:33 [MUSIC] 40:38 [MUSIC] 40:43 [MUSIC] 40:48 [MUSIC] 40:53 [MUSIC] 40:58 [MUSIC] 41:03 [MUSIC] 41:08 [MUSIC] 41:13 [MUSIC] 41:18 [MUSIC] 41:24 [MUSIC] 41:29 [MUSIC] 41:34 [MUSIC] 41:39 [MUSIC] 41:44 [MUSIC] 41:49 [MUSIC] 41:54 [MUSIC] 41:59 [MUSIC] 42:04 [MUSIC] 42:09 [MUSIC] 42:14 [MUSIC] 42:19 [MUSIC] 42:24 [MUSIC] 42:29 [MUSIC] 42:34 [MUSIC] 42:39 [MUSIC] 42:44 [MUSIC] 42:49 [MUSIC] 42:54 [MUSIC] 42:59 [MUSIC] 43:04 [MUSIC] 43:09 [MUSIC] 43:14 [MUSIC] 43:19 [MUSIC] 43:24 [MUSIC] 43:29 [MUSIC] 43:34 [MUSIC] 43:39 [MUSIC] 43:44 [MUSIC] 43:49 [MUSIC] 43:54 [MUSIC] 43:59 [MUSIC] 44:04 [MUSIC] 44:06 [MUSIC] 44:11 [MUSIC] 44:16 [MUSIC] 44:21 [MUSIC] 44:22 [MUSIC] 44:27 [MUSIC] 44:32 [MUSIC] 44:37 [MUSIC] 44:42 [MUSIC] 44:47 [MUSIC] 44:49 Let us pray. 44:51 Heavenly father, 44:53 we thank you 44:55 for giving us the opportunity to get back to you. 44:59 You own everything 45:02 and it makes no sense to say that we're giving to you. 45:05 But by allowing us to give 45:07 to causes that at Seoul's your kingdom, 45:10 you tell us that when we do for the least of these, we have 45:13 done to you. 45:15 So thank you, Lord, for the blessing of being able to get 45:20 whatever amount was cannot collect it down. 45:23 I think you 45:25 I think you because it is your provision for this ministry 45:28 and it is your promise that as long as we let you lead, 45:32 you will guide us into the future. 45:35 And you will teach us to rely on you every step of the way 45:40 our lives this ministry, everything that we do, 45:44 he longs to you. 45:45 This is yours, heavenly father. So we latest gift at your alter 45:50 and we asked the father that we will use these resources 45:54 to usher in your kingdom here on Earth. 45:57 He lives be change for eternity and decisions made for you 46:01 as a result of what was given today in Jesus name. I had the opportunity of 55:11 speaking for them last night and I was blessed and 55:15 privileged and highly favored. They are a blessing. In fact, 55:19 while I was backstage, one little friend I made Hylka said 55:23 right for you 55:26 and that kind of made by whole day to kind of made my home 55:30 time here. So I just want to thank God again for the 55:32 privilege of being with you today. I never counted 55:37 a thing to be taken likely to say anything really for God. 55:42 He is so much better than I am so much better than we are. 55:46 And I'm always honored whenever I get an opportunity to say 55:50 anything forgot. I like the mission of this organization 55:54 to Motivate train and equip 7th Day Adventists physicians, 55:58 dentists and other health professionals 56:00 to team with pastors, all pastor to team with pastors and 56:04 members. I like that 56:05 uniting the church to Restore Christ Ministry of Healing to 56:08 the world. Hastening is returned. 56:13 I would dare say that the organization I represent the 56:16 LNG white estate. 56:18 I think Ellen White would be okay with that mission. 56:22 I really think she would. 56:23 And I bring you greetings on behalf of my director, 56:27 Doctor, Merlin Bird and Doctor Tim Poor EA Hour vice director 56:31 into the global Ministry of the whitest state. It is an honor 56:35 and a privilege to represent that a state and to be in 56:38 partnership 56:39 with a man and this service this morning. I want to thank 56:42 your President, 56:44 doctor, Shannon, the entire leadership team for reaching 56:48 down in the bottom of the barrel and picking me 56:51 to share with you this this word this morning. The hours 56:55 far spent. The clock says I've only got 22 minutes. It's a lot 56:59 less than they promised me. 57:01 But if you would allow me to jaywalk through this message, 57:03 I think God will still speak to his people. A man 57:07 let us Bow. Father God, thank you. 57:09 We praise you. We honor you as we turn our attention. Haven't 57:12 word. Would you please speak to us in the name of Jesus and 57:16 take all credit. 57:18 Take all glory. If there be any and all praise in the name of 57:22 Jesus? I pray. Amen. 57:25 I'm thankful for my family. I know who is praying for me 57:28 who are praying for me. Encouraging me even now with 57:31 their thoughts. 57:32 The Bible says in Matthew Chapter 6 in verse, 33 but seek 57:36 first, 57:38 the kingdom of God and his righteousness and 57:42 also 57:44 most 57:46 all these things shall be added. 57:50 The year was 19. 0, 1, April 19 to be exact on that morning. 57:55 Ellen White Rose early 01:00AM. 58:00 It was the time of the 34th General Conference session held 58:04 at the Tabernacle in Battle Creek, Michigan as 58:07 consequential a meeting in the church as there has ever been. 58:12 She had not been to a GC session for 10 years and she 58:16 arrived with the bee in her bonnet 58:19 in the preliminary meetings of church leaders, one held on 58:23 March 31st held a Ji Daniels himself recently back from 58:27 Australia. Axed her to say a few words. She said I would 58:30 prefer not to speak today. 58:35 She said it's not that I don't have something to say. I'm 58:37 pointing her. I had something to say. 58:42 Her cryptic remark speak Builder. Daniels is mind and 58:47 and unsettled the audience and he prevailed upon her to to to 58:51 to go ahead and say something. Then she said this. She said 58:54 this now should the mind of one man or the minds of a few men 58:58 regarded sufficient in wisdom and power to control the work 59:02 of the church? 59:04 I think you probably regretted telling her to speak. 59:09 She said this was not the high standard that God intended for 59:12 his people. The issue of that day was centralization of 59:15 thought in the church in Battle Creek. Among the few leaders of 59:19 the church, stifling diversity and creativity and growth and 59:23 efficiency needed for God's work to flourish. She wondered 59:26 aloud. Why is it that fields will not open for the work of 59:29 God and why is it that that there was money? First, the 59:33 leaders in the works such as those at the time in the 59:35 publishing ministry, she wondered why people were not 59:38 standing on the battle of Prince Emmanuel. She wondered 59:41 why they were not standing like the needle to the poll. 59:45 I said she came with a bee in her bonnet, 59:48 but that's not all. Sister White said. 59:52 She said some other things as well. She pointed out that God 59:56 did not want the medical work separated from the gospel work 01:00:00 that the medical minister manned mission. Every work 01:00:03 would be considered the pioneer work and these are words the 01:00:06 breaking a plow. I bet you didn't know that you are a 01:00:09 plow. 01:00:10 Hello. I told you that. 01:00:14 She wrote on April 19 in her diary. The meetings have been 01:00:17 going since April 2nd, she wrote on April 19. I am not 01:00:20 able to sleep past 1 o'clock. I promise to speak to the 01:00:24 students. I remained in the council meeting and I was 01:00:26 requested to get the brother in 01:00:29 the light that I have on setting up the medical 01:00:32 ministry. 01:00:34 They asked me what can we do to make sure it's operating in 01:00:37 correct line. It's this is her response. The matter of Doctor 01:00:42 Crest and his wife. This is Doctor Daniel Crescent is its 01:00:46 stock to watch. Just to read a crest great pioneering 01:00:49 medical evangelists of the church. They were coming to 01:00:52 Australia. She said that has come before me in tonight's 01:00:54 season. 01:00:56 She said I have been instructed that there should be connected 01:00:58 with this sanitarium a physician and his wife who have 01:01:02 to work of God and the call of gone at heart. 01:01:07 I want people who know got in the medical work. 01:01:11 She then says this. The start of the board was on sick 01:01:15 very next paragraph C it the first 01:01:19 the kingdom of God 01:01:20 and his righteousness and all these things shall be added 01:01:24 unto you. 01:01:25 Then she makes 3 statements. I want you to pay attention to. 01:01:28 She says this 01:01:30 is the condition God has made. 01:01:33 He's the foundation stone upon which we must build. This is to 01:01:38 be our very first. 01:01:45 She says this affects the entire character. All who 01:01:48 follow the principles outlined in second, Peter, secure for 01:01:52 themselves. Insurance papers as they seek the righteousness of 01:01:55 Christ in white goes on. She says again say he first the 01:02:01 kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these 01:02:04 things shall be added unto you. The next paragraph. She says it 01:02:07 is important. This is manuscript. 33 19, 0, 1, 01:02:10 She says a crisis like influence should emanate from 01:02:13 our Senate areas so that men and women find themselves in 01:02:18 the Rays of dawn righteousness. 01:02:21 She says there should be no concealment of the source of 01:02:25 our grace and power. But 2 paragraphs later she comes to 01:02:28 Min. 01:02:30 She's at your stop now. She says physicians will cultivate 01:02:33 a sense of the presence of God will impress their patients 01:02:37 with the influence of truth 01:02:39 as they show that they truly believe the words. I know that 01:02:42 my redeemer lives and to make it to second for me and that 01:02:46 because if you live show live also, she says they believe 01:02:49 that 01:02:51 for Wentz of this will be felt 01:02:55 before they say anything to their patients. 01:02:59 I'm just reading Ellen White. 01:03:02 She says physicians little know the power they will have in 01:03:06 this equipment. They recognize the presence of God. Their 01:03:08 words will be of such a character. That impressions for 01:03:11 good will be made up our minds God desires. The Senate areas 01:03:14 which are established to be a power for good. Let those who 01:03:18 are connected with them. Remember the words We are God's 01:03:21 husbandry. You are God's building. Let the Christian 01:03:25 represented by the building open every window heavenward. 01:03:29 This is white 01:03:32 living and working under the constant impression low God 01:03:37 is here. 01:03:38 Here's how it presents an influencer here which the 01:03:41 spirit is ever impressing upon heart. And my 01:03:46 in this diary entry, Ellen White puts her finger on to the 01:03:51 2 most essential truths that every physician in every 01:03:55 medical person and every medical evangelist was no 01:03:57 number one 01:03:59 first point you must seek first, the kingdom of thought 01:04:04 you must point. Number 2, you must spend time with the 01:04:08 presence of the K 01:04:10 you must not just seek the kingdom. You must seek the 01:04:13 cake. 01:04:14 The time came to the dog appears 68 times in the New 01:04:17 Testament beloved. It's a sentiment kingdom. It's in a 01:04:21 kingdom of heaven Oakhurst. 32 times. 01:04:24 It was the subject on which Jesus spoke the most. It was 01:04:27 the subject which is 4 runner shop. John. The Baptist spoke 01:04:30 to most Matthew chapter 3 verses one 2 in those days, 01:04:34 John came preaching saying repent for the Kingdom of 01:04:36 heaven. Is that hand Jesus Matthew 4 and verse 17 Repacked 01:04:41 for the Kingdom of Heaven is repentance is a part of the 01:04:43 kingdom. 01:04:44 When Jesus sends out his medical evangelists and Luke 01:04:47 Chapter 10 verse 9, he sends them with the message. She was 01:04:51 sick 01:04:52 and say to them that the Kingdom of Heaven is the year. 01:04:56 Jesus is saying here. Tell them that a new way. Yes, come a new 01:05:00 power has come a new way of operating has come to the 01:05:04 planet. 01:05:05 Tell them the kingdom is near 01:05:08 in Luke Chapter 17 versus 20. And 21 the pharisees want to 01:05:12 know or what will be the sign of the Kingdom. Jesus response 01:05:16 to them in first. 21 he says don't expect it to be here or 01:05:19 there. The kingdom of God is within you. 01:05:24 Jesus was saying in effect, the first thing that the kingdom 01:05:27 conquers is your heart. 01:05:29 It works from the inside out. That's a lesson for those of us 01:05:32 who want to cleave people before Jesus catches them. 01:05:37 You can clean fish that you have not caught. 01:05:41 Jesus says I my kingdom, frost attacks the heart, not not the 01:05:46 thing ticket in our chest. I'm talking about the thing 01:05:48 ticket in our hit, the center of our being the out of the 01:05:51 spring from whence flow, all our designers, Jason says 01:05:55 that's where the kingdom begin. 01:05:58 And when it's their Kingdom, Life 01:06:03 Kingdom of God. 01:06:05 Paul says in Romans for in verse 17, the Kingdom of God is 01:06:07 not in eating and drinking but righteousness and peace and joy 01:06:11 in the Holy spirit. When the kingdom comes get ready for 01:06:14 righteousness. The both the import of the imputed get ready 01:06:18 for Christ's righteousness when the kingdom call us 01:06:22 get ready for hold. Eagles, joy, anybody got enough. 01:06:24 Joy, if you do have enough joy at all, you need a little bit 01:06:26 more. 01:06:28 If your joy, 01:06:30 if you've got a little spice, the kingdom wants you. 01:06:33 Jesus says, get ready for joy. Not only that, but get ready 01:06:36 for. 01:06:38 >> It's. 01:06:39 >> Peace in the middle. Speak 01:06:43 the piece of the kingdom of God. There's power in the 01:06:46 kingdom. You shall receive power when the whole Dingell's 01:06:48 comes a point you there's acceptance in the kingdom. 01:06:51 He that comes out to be able to know was cast out there 01:06:56 in the kingdom. Return to the stronghold. You prisoners of 01:06:59 hope. Even today I declare to you. I will restore your Jack 01:07:02 second, Ryan Knight and verse 12. This one. Well in the 01:07:05 kingdom of great, a loaf 01:07:07 hath no man than this, then that the kid but the kingdom 01:07:10 would lay down his life 01:07:11 for his friends. John, 15, Denver starting does possible 01:07:15 truth in the kingdom. Come on, say a man as gospel truth in 01:07:18 the kingdom. It's good to us. 01:07:22 Spirit of the Lord is upon me. Jesus says in Luke 4.18, 01:07:26 he has anointed me to preach the good news to the poor. 01:07:28 The Gospel of the Kingdom shall be priests in all the world for 01:07:32 witness and then show the end come. It's a it's a kingdom 01:07:36 that got gospel power. It's a kingdom with healing power. 01:07:39 He has sent me to heal up the broken-hearted to proclaim 01:07:42 Liberty to the captives, to recovery of sight, to the 01:07:45 blind, to sacked 01:07:48 them. That all real press freedom in the kingdom. 01:07:52 A man I came to tell you this morning, you are more than just 01:07:56 a gathering of medical professionals. You are people 01:07:59 with power. Don't hide. Use it. You are people of accept it. 01:08:04 Don't make people learned of it. You are prisoners a full 01:08:08 vote. Apologize for it. Share it. You are people who don't 01:08:12 talk about it, do it. 01:08:16 You are people with a message. A man in the gospel message of 01:08:20 the 3 Angels. A revelation 40 don't silence it proclaim it. 01:08:25 You are people who you are Gautz wounded healers. God has 01:08:29 healed you and he's given you the power to heal of the 01:08:32 people. The Bible says don't be afraid of your gift. 01:08:37 Apply it to a broken world. 01:08:40 Family of God. I came to tell you this morning, the amazing 01:08:43 grace of the Kingdom of God, 01:08:45 it's what God wants to see in this plan, a touching and 01:08:49 moving and helping in changing people. Is it any wonder then 01:08:52 that when the disciples acts, Jesus teach us how to pray like 01:08:55 you how to pray for the hurting and how to lift up the helpless 01:08:59 and how to help those who are lost and the centers and and 01:09:03 heal the sick dog. ICU. Pray for these things. Teach us. 01:09:11 Is it any wonder then that when he answers 01:09:15 their question, 01:09:17 the kingdom figures prominently in Jesus is model prayer. 01:09:21 When you pray, pray like this. Stop 01:09:23 our father, which art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. 01:09:26 Thy 01:09:28 kingdom. Call 01:09:30 a diet plans come in and buy purposes come and I suppose 01:09:34 coming by priorities call. 01:09:37 Yes, Scott Price for that 01:09:40 as it is and have it. Not only that, but pray that my we'll be 01:09:43 done that the will of the kingdom be done that the way of 01:09:46 the kingdom be done, that the witness of the king to be done, 01:09:49 that the looks of the kingdom be done. 01:09:52 In other words, Jesus saying Pray for Heaven's Way 01:09:56 to come down and kissed her 01:10:00 disciples ought to pray. Amen. Disciples ought to pray 01:10:04 for the kingdom to come. Pray that it may come in Israel 01:10:07 and Gaza as it is in heaven 01:10:11 that it will come in Lewiston, Maine as it is and have it 01:10:15 that it will come in Africa and Asia and Europe and South 01:10:18 America and all parts of the world that it will cost 01:10:23 because when the kingdom comes, what have we need comes with 01:10:26 it. 01:10:27 Beautiful family of God. God says in no uncertain terms 01:10:31 seek first. I have not forgotten your theme. Seek 01:10:34 first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and 01:10:36 everything else you need. The Bible says will be added on 01:10:39 to you know how and strategy and planning resources will 01:10:43 come with the kingdom. 01:10:45 Seek first the kingdom of God, but that's not all. Number 2, 01:10:49 why put your finger on something? The Bible says that 01:10:52 we must not just seek the kingdom. We must seek the key. 01:10:56 In other words, you can do the work of the kingdom. If you 01:10:59 don't know the king, 01:11:01 if you have never been in the presence of the king or been in 01:11:04 the presence about King, you cannot really do his work. 01:11:07 When I saw your theme, I couldn't help. But think of 01:11:09 this scripture, you've chosen some 16 and verse 11. You will 01:11:13 show me the path of life in your presence is fullness of 01:11:16 joy at your right hand pleasures forevermore, the 01:11:19 Bible. He's saying here that the Servant of God has 01:11:22 absolutely no equivocation about this statement. I know 01:11:28 that if I get into God's presence, he will show me the 01:11:31 path of life. 01:11:33 That's the promise. 01:11:35 I was moved and blessed today by our Sabha school study, 01:11:38 doctor Wesson and passed the Philly where you blessed as 01:11:41 well. 01:11:43 Promise of God is if you're in my president, I will show you 01:11:46 what I promised to show you. I will show you the path of 01:11:49 life manuscript. 31 listen to Ellen White here. Much good. 01:11:53 33 19. 0, 1, Just a little for the last Messenger writes this 01:11:56 again, physicians will cultivate 01:11:59 a sense of the presence of God will impress their patients 01:12:02 with the influence of truth. Physicians little know the 01:12:04 power 01:12:06 that they will have in the sick room if they recognize the 01:12:10 presence of got things happen in the presence of God, 01:12:14 it was the presence of God that lead Israel through the 01:12:16 wilderness. Jacob was changed and that presents Moses was 01:12:20 empowered by that presents up. Elijah was comforted by that 01:12:24 presents. I say it was and on and read on in that presents, 01:12:28 Joshua found strength in the president's general. Maya found 01:12:31 answers in the present. Stephanie, Nia said these 01:12:34 sayings over you 01:12:36 in his presence and Jesus says I am the presidents. 01:12:40 I am the way I am the truth and the life and I will never leave 01:12:43 you 01:12:44 and I will never forsake you. The family presence of God was 01:12:47 with us. Steps to Christ in White says that the Holy Spirit 01:12:51 through the life of Jesus into the life of the Christian and 01:12:53 lives it 01:12:56 the presence of God, 01:12:58 not only that, 01:13:00 he says that that this presence, it's so special that 01:13:05 it transforms my life. I see pleasures forevermore and joy 01:13:09 unspeakable. It was it was the great Cs Lewis. He once wrote 01:13:14 this. He said the problem with human beings is that we are too 01:13:17 easily, please. 01:13:21 He says we want to go on playing with mud pies in the 01:13:24 slum because we cannot imagine what is meant by the offer of a 01:13:29 holiday by the sea. 01:13:31 In other words, what he's saying is we'd rather make but 01:13:34 flies in a slump. Then sandcastles by the sea 01:13:38 settle for earthly pleasures. When God has pleasures 01:13:41 forevermore too, 01:13:43 its use be to fully grass psalm 16 and verse 11 beloved. 01:13:47 You really need to read Psalm 16, 8, 01:13:52 some 69 per se. 01:13:54 David 01:13:55 is unequivocal about what he will get in the presence of God 01:13:58 in Psalm 16 because of what he has done in Psalm 01:14:03 16 8. 01:14:05 David says this. I have set the Lord 01:14:08 always before me. 01:14:11 I set the Lord always before me when I go out towards before 01:14:14 being when I come in and when I sat down with it and in 01:14:17 whatever I do, I always keep the Lord always before me. 01:14:22 It's because God is always before him that he could say I 01:14:26 know what happens in his presence. 01:14:28 God is what I have made an executive decision not and you 01:14:32 got to invite me out. Put my hands on. Gotten up. Put it 01:14:35 where I could see you. 01:14:37 I want to see him every day. I want to see it every moment 01:14:40 of the day. I want him to be in my view at all times. It's I 01:14:44 have set the law as anybody here to set the lord be for 01:14:46 you. 01:14:48 Davis said I have said the Lord, always before me. Listen 01:14:51 to Ellen White 01:14:53 through the power of the Holy Spirit. Listen to the 01:14:55 responsibility that she says you have U.S. positions. 01:14:59 The Holy Spirit will renew every organ in your body. 01:15:02 That God's servants may work acceptably and 6 by talent fee 01:15:06 increases under the influence of the spirits action. 01:15:11 This is a review it January 14, 19 to listen to this. What the 01:15:17 physician attempts to do Christ can accomplish. 01:15:21 They strive to prolong life, but he is the life giver 01:15:25 Jesus. The mighty healer is the physician in chief. All 01:15:28 physicians are on the one master 01:15:31 and bless it. Indeed, is every position who has learned from 01:15:34 his war to watch for sold while all his professional skill. 01:15:38 While with all his professional skill, her professional skilled 01:15:41 works to heal the bodies of the suffering. 01:15:44 She goes on that man only who daily and hourly little 01:15:49 Christian life can perform a right to duties of a physician. 01:15:54 Is that shocking enough? 01:15:57 If you're not living right, you can perform. 01:16:01 It's ordering just reading it. How important that the 01:16:04 physician shout ever Shelby ever under the control of the 01:16:08 defined physician, let the one who was trying to prolong life 01:16:11 looked to him to direct his every movement. 01:16:18 The time 01:16:20 that has been spent in communing with God in seeking 01:16:23 his help before undertaking to relieve those who were in a 01:16:26 critical condition has brought shows to the side of the doctor 01:16:31 and his assistant. If you spend time with doggone to come 01:16:37 to be with you 01:16:39 wherever you served in medical ministry, some patients are 01:16:42 concerned and fearful, she says. But when they see their 01:16:45 physician on his knees asking got to make the critical 01:16:48 operations of success, the prayer inspires them 01:16:51 as well as the physician with strong open confident. She goes 01:16:54 on to say that with physicians pray for their patience, 01:16:57 it shows the devil 01:17:01 and healing can begin. 01:17:03 Lord have mercy. 01:17:05 I do believe you've got something to do. My question to 01:17:07 you is this. I've got to jaywalk through this message up 01:17:10 and got a minute on this thing. But I will take a long is that 01:17:12 right? 01:17:14 They stole my time. I will take my time. 01:17:18 I will be too low. You all have been very kind to me. 01:17:21 My question to you, medical evangelists. Is this what part 01:17:25 of your work can you do without the presence of God? 01:17:30 What can you do 01:17:33 as God wanted killers? 01:17:35 What part of your work and you perform 01:17:38 without the presence of God in your life? 01:17:42 What I was saying in no uncertain terms that you work 01:17:46 is kidding. Don't work. 01:17:48 And kingdom work requires not just taking the kingdom. 01:17:52 It requires the presence of the K 01:17:55 it's possible work. It must never be forced from the 01:18:00 ministry that God has called us to. Yes, you can go through the 01:18:04 motions and you can do some things medically, but the love 01:18:06 of God in order to make lasting change and provide spiritual 01:18:10 healing, we must be in the presence of God. A man 01:18:16 without me. Jesus said you can do nothing. David said I have 01:18:19 set the Lord always before me. I have discovered that I can do 01:18:22 anything without my God. I want him always in my line of 01:18:25 sight ways where I could see up notice family to set the Lord 01:18:29 before you is to set some other things away from you. 01:18:33 It's not no way that you could keep got in the center of your 01:18:36 view unless you decide to some other things. Most receded into 01:18:40 the back, 01:18:42 our anxieties and our stresses our plans, our agendas. I will 01:18:46 monitor it. And yes, even familial responsibilities must 01:18:50 take a back seat 01:18:53 to the presence of God. 01:18:55 We must be in the presence of God. That's what she's arguing 01:18:59 for. That's what scripture is arguing for. If we are 01:19:02 constantly on our devices, how can we be hold him? 01:19:08 If our minds are filled with every waking moment digitally, 01:19:12 how can we hear his voice? 01:19:16 David said because he is at my right hand. I shall not be 01:19:19 moved. I shall be steadfast. I shall be foundational. 01:19:23 I shall not be me 01:19:25 because I have said before me and he is at my right hand. 01:19:29 God is saying to us today in no uncertain terms, kingdom people 01:19:34 put gone where they can see him 01:19:39 some 8, 01:19:41 some 16 and verse 8 is very close closely related to Psalm 01:19:46 16 and verse 11 pay attention with me at this power low for a 01:19:50 minute. Have you noticed? So may I have set the Lord 01:19:54 always before me. That is I want to be in your presence. 01:19:57 Caught verse 11 in your presence is fullness of joy. 01:20:01 I find complete joy in your presence. SOM a top 16 and 01:20:06 verse 8 now because you are at my right hand. I shall not be 01:20:09 moved. I find steadfastness and safety in your presence. 01:20:13 First 11, 0st 11 at your right to it. 01:20:18 Pleasures forevermore. 01:20:19 I find unexpected blessings in your presence caught but I 01:20:23 don't get anywhere else. 01:20:26 In first, David prioritize this time with caught in first 11 01:20:30 got prioritizes blessing. Dated in 4 say David wants to 01:20:34 say got in first 11 got C's and rewards they fit. 01:20:39 There's a progression here because David has been in the 01:20:42 presence of gone gone has put himself with David cannot just 01:20:47 experience him but experience fullness of joy. 01:20:54 I don't know any parents in the house. 01:20:57 Maybe you picked up your little ones and spawn them around the 01:20:59 time or 2. 01:21:01 I remember when I not, not not my son wants to spin me around, 01:21:05 but but I remember when I used to be able to spin him around, 01:21:08 he's about as big as I am now. 01:21:10 But I remember when I used to be able to take him by his arms 01:21:12 has been used to think to myself, when will his joy be 01:21:15 full? 01:21:21 He would spend until I was losing my mind 01:21:25 are you don't do it again that you do it again. 01:21:30 Can't walk straight to it. You know, Campbell, anywhere 01:21:32 with all of the both of us do it. 01:21:36 David says to us, the Lord waits for us in his presence. 01:21:39 He wants us to be spun around. He wants us to enjoy that time 01:21:43 with him was just horrible. Your choice is not fun until 01:21:47 you get in the presence of God. 01:21:50 You haven't experienced pleasures forevermore yet won 01:21:53 office as Earth's fleeting. Joys are. Our pleasures are 01:21:57 like poppy, spread you seize the flower. Is blooming shed or 01:22:01 like the snowflake in the river. A moment white been gone 01:22:05 for a fight 01:22:09 and not the pleasures of Cobb, 01:22:13 my beloved family of God. I've got to 01:22:17 go through some of this. Ellen White says in testimony, 01:22:20 volume one page one, 69, give yourselves to prayer. 01:22:25 She says a live look at the altar. 01:22:29 And I want to tell you the love that people who live a dog's 01:22:32 altar 01:22:34 are people who transformed the world. 01:22:37 Have you been with the person who's been with gone? 01:22:40 Have you ever seen anybody who actually knows gone the bin 01:22:43 with God and the impact they have on other lives? 01:22:47 I want to tell you a story and then I'm going to close 01:22:51 preacher. I love very much. 01:22:54 His name is Charles Granderson. Finney. 01:22:57 Although the Finney is not a 7th day Adventist, 01:23:01 he was a preacher, a revival preacher 01:23:05 back in the early 18 mid 18, 100's. 01:23:09 And I want to tell you, that was quite 01:23:12 an amazing revival 01:23:14 that happened when Delta 50 came on the scene. It was at 01:23:17 the tail end of the second great American awakening and a 01:23:20 fitting began to preach them or touch his heart. He was headed 01:23:22 to be an attorney but gave his heart to got 6 foot, 3 of them 01:23:26 piercing eyes. 01:23:28 And now the fitting was stand up and reach. And where do you 01:23:31 break? 01:23:34 It is report it 01:23:36 that for at least a generation after El the filly out of the 01:23:40 50 left for at least a generation after he left what 01:23:44 Everify says we're in the area stopped 01:23:49 there would be no prostitution. 01:23:51 After he left 01:23:53 liquor stores would close 01:23:55 the most with calls Elda where he preached the word of God. 01:24:00 His appeals were so powerful 01:24:02 that people would get their hearts the price at the sight 01:24:06 of him. 01:24:10 I'll tell you one story that always catches me. 01:24:13 He was in upstate New York reaching 01:24:16 and he was just about done with his. His message is for that 01:24:20 time. People have given their hearts to Christ was the 01:24:23 teachers had shut down. Things are already changing their in 01:24:26 Buffalo, New York when when when he came through, but they 01:24:29 took him. They they decided, you know, let's just take him, 01:24:31 you know, to see some sites in the area. And it took him to a 01:24:34 factory, it in that upper upstate New York area. And when 01:24:37 they took out a 50 to the sac to the factory, he walks into 01:24:41 the factory 01:24:42 and when he walks in, people start to cry. 01:24:47 People start to week, they walk up to him and they began to 01:24:50 confess their sins. 01:24:52 And and he leads in that moment, such a powerful 01:24:56 spiritual revival right there in that factory that they have 01:25:01 to close the factory all day 01:25:06 moved simply 01:25:08 by the sight of him. 01:25:11 Let's not even preaching 01:25:13 just walking. 01:25:15 People see the results of elder Finney's Amazing Ministry 01:25:20 and they think, wow, what an amazing gifted man of thought. 01:25:25 What they don't know is he's devotional life. 01:25:28 That was a man pretty good 01:25:32 and spent time with God 01:25:35 begging for souls. 01:25:38 He prayed for his appeals and his appeals were legendary. 01:25:43 The love of God.
