00:05 Hello, I'm Yvonne Shelton. 00:06 I've always had a fascination with names. 00:09 Invariably, when someone is sharing the news of a newborn 00:12 in the family, I'll ask, "What's the name?" 00:14 I guess somehow it helps me to better connect with them. 00:18 My father named me Yvonne Maria. 00:21 "Yvonne" is a French name 00:23 and "Maria" is Spanish 00:24 and I guess he was trying to be international or something. 00:26 But when he named me, 00:28 he wasn't thinking about the meanings. 00:30 He just liked the sound of it. 00:32 But Bible times... were different. 00:35 Names had incredible significance. 00:37 They were used to forecast the direction of the child's life. 00:40 The parents, when ascribing a name to their child, 00:43 were assigning a purpose and a direction in their training 00:47 so, yes, a name was important 00:49 as it could indicate the character and personality 00:52 of the one who bore it. 00:53 So, how much more significant 00:56 are the names and titles of our God? 00:59 It's been said that there are over 100 titles of God 01:03 in Scripture. 01:04 What do they reveal about His relationship to us? 01:07 The study of God's names and titles has so enriched my life. 01:11 I had the privilege last year of writing a book entitled: 01:15 Glimpses of His Glory: 01:17 A Revelation of God's Character through His Names and Titles 01:20 and it has been an amazing blessing 01:23 for me to get to know God more intimately 01:26 and more personally through His names. 01:30 I've entitled this Presentation: What's in a Name. 01:34 Pray with me. 01:35 "O Elohim, we thank You and praise You for this opportunity. 01:41 I pray that we will all come to know You better. 01:44 We praise You and thank You in the name of Yeshua, 01:47 Jesus our Savior, amen. " 01:49 Our Scripture reading for today is taken from Psalm 9 verse 10 01:57 and it's from the Amplified Version. 02:00 "And they who know Your name 02:02 will lean on and confidently put their trust in You, 02:06 for You, Lord, have not forsaken those who seek You. " 02:09 As I read this Scripture, I realized 02:12 that knowing God's name 02:14 gives one a deeper faith and confidence in Him 02:17 because His names reflect 02:19 different aspects of His character. 02:21 The third commandment found in Exodus 20 verse 7 02:24 admonishes us not to take the name of the Lord our God 02:28 in vain 02:29 and that's one reason that we're to show reverence for His name. 02:32 It reflects His very essence. 02:35 The incomprehensible God reveals Himself through His names 02:39 which is one of the ways that He makes Himself known to man. 02:43 According to James Boice, the phrase: The Name of God 02:47 is a Semitic phrase for speaking of God's attributes. " 02:51 He says, "To be protected by the name 02:55 is therefore to be protected by the One Who is sovereign, 02:59 holy, all-knowing, wise, compassionate, 03:02 and anything else that can be properly said of God. 03:05 And there's more, 03:06 for to be kept 'in the name' 03:08 is not merely to be kept by God, as if He were some distant force 03:12 that could be called in to defend us 03:15 if that were necessary. 03:16 It is rather that we are actually in Him, 03:19 much like being in a fortress. 03:22 Thus, His power and other attributes 03:25 surround us constantly. " 03:28 Proverbs 18:10 says, 03:30 "The name of the Lord... " YHWH 03:33 "is a strong tower; 03:35 the righteous run to it and are safe. " 03:38 God's name is like a fort that provides protection and strength 03:43 to the believer. 03:44 One theologian said that as we grow to understand 03:48 the very nature and character of God, 03:50 we will find ourselves running to His name 03:52 to find safety and strength. 03:54 No... there's not one name 03:56 that can sum up the awesomeness of our God... 03:59 no finite words can describe the infinite one. 04:02 However, we can look at His names 04:04 as shared by Him in Scripture 04:06 and get a picture of who He is... 04:08 His character and personality... 04:11 His names are self-revelatory and relational 04:14 as they demonstrate His relationship to His creatures. 04:17 He reveals Himself to us with each name 04:21 and knowing these names fortifies us in Him. 04:24 The famous theologian, Charles Spurgeon said, 04:29 "There's a glorious fullness of assurance in the names of God. 04:32 By knowing His Name 04:34 is also meant an experimental acquaintance 04:37 with the attributes of God, 04:39 which are every one of them 04:41 anchors to hold the soul from drifting in seasons of peril. " 04:46 I would venture to say that each name or title of God 04:52 is an anchor for the soul 04:54 to keep us steadfast and immovable in times of stress 04:58 and hardship. 04:59 I believe that God wants every Christian to know His names 05:02 and titles... so that they can get closer to Him. 05:05 Would you like to know and experience Him in a new way? 05:09 Are you open to a richer, deeper understanding 05:15 of who God is? 05:16 Well, we're going to identify three names of God 05:20 that are anchors for the soul 05:22 that will keep you from drifting in seasons of peril. 05:25 Anchor Number 1: YHWH The Self-Existent One. 05:31 The most frequently designated name for God 05:36 in the Old Testament is YHWH. 05:39 Among the Jewish people of antiquity, 05:43 YHWH also known as: The Unutterable Name, 05:46 The Four Letters or the Tetragrammaton 05:49 had particular sacredness. 05:51 It was so holy that the Jews wouldn't speak it 05:54 for fear of blasphemy or taking it in vain. 05:56 So, instead of speaking it, they would write it 05:59 and when the name was written in Scripture to be read aloud, 06:03 they would substitute the name Adonai... 06:05 meaning Lord or Master. 06:07 In fact, in your Bible, 06:09 every time that you see the word LORD 06:11 written in uppercase letters... all Caps... 06:15 it is the English translation for YHWH 06:18 because all of the letters in the Hebrew alphabet 06:22 were consonants. 06:24 No one really knows how to pronounce YHWH 06:27 so most scholars say, Yahweh 06:29 and it's written as such 06:31 in the "Names of God" version of the Bible 06:34 but the true pronunciation is unknown. 06:36 So, just to be unauthentic 06:38 unless quoting from a source that uses Yahweh, 06:41 here in this Presentation, I allude to YHWH or the LORD 06:47 but think all caps... think uppercase. 06:50 In Exodus 3 verses 13 through 15 in the "Names of God" Bible, 06:58 Moses said to God, 07:00 "Suppose I go to the people of Israel and say to them, 07:03 'The Elohim of your ancestors has sent me to you... ' 07:06 and they ask me, 'What is His name?' 07:08 What should I tell them?" 07:10 In verse 14, God said, 07:12 "this is what you must say to the people of Israel, 07:16 'Ehyeh has sent me to you. Ehyeh asher ehyeh. '" 07:21 That's the name that God first gave Moses 07:23 in answer to his question about His name. 07:26 But check this out, 07:28 Ehyeh is not a noun but it's a verb. 07:33 A noun is the name of a person, place or thing 07:37 but a verb is an action word or a state of being. 07:41 So, a more correct translation of this 07:44 is the idea of the One Who Was... 07:47 Is... and Will Be. 07:49 He is the Self-Existent One without beginning or end. 07:53 Again, in the "Names of God" Bible, 07:57 Exodus 3:15... it states again, "Elohim said to Moses, 08:02 'This is what you must say to the people of Israel... 08:06 YHWH... Yahweh... Elohim of your ancestors... 08:10 the Elohim of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob has sent me to you: 08:15 this is My name forever, 08:17 this is My Title throughout every generation... '" 08:23 YHWH is probably an acronym for Ehyeh asher ehyeh. 08:29 Elohim, the Creator God, 08:32 stated that YHWH is His title throughout every generation. 08:39 Why is this important? 08:41 It's because God is showing Himself to be eternal. 08:44 There is none like Him. 08:46 He's self-existent 08:47 and there is no one higher than He. 08:50 Therefore, in Malachi 3:6 when it says, 08:52 "I am YHWH... I change not... " 08:56 He assures us of His reliability and omnipotence. 09:00 He's the same yesterday... today and forever. 09:04 What a mighty God we serve. 09:07 Anchor Number2: Yeshua. 09:10 Anchor Number 2 means YHWH is salvation. 09:19 When an angel of the Lord visited Joseph in a dream, 09:22 he told him about Mary. 09:24 She will give birth to a Son 09:26 and you will name Him Yeshua... He saves 09:29 because He will save His people from their sins. 09:32 That's Matthew 1:21 in the "Names of God" Bible. 09:36 Yeshua is a shortened form of the name Yehoshua 09:40 which we first find in the Old Testament book of Yeshoshua 09:44 or what we call: Joshua. 09:46 Yeshoshua is the literal Hebrew word for salvation. 09:51 Yeshoshua consists of two parts: 09:53 Yeho... which is a shortened form of YHWH... 09:58 the Tetragrammaton... when it's the first part of a name. 10:01 The English form is "LORD" 10:04 and then the second part is "shua" 10:07 and that's an abbreviated form of the verb: Yasha 10:10 which means to save, rescue or deliver. 10:13 Thus, the name Yehoshua means: The Lord saves or delivers. 10:18 The ancient Hebrew name for Jesus was Yeshua. 10:22 Jesus... that word "Jesus... " that name 10:26 is a transliteration of the name Yeshua 10:29 and we've learned to use them interchangeably 10:32 much as Peter in English 10:35 is the transliteration of Pedro in Spanish. 10:39 So, Yeshua was the name that Jesus was probably called 10:43 as a child growing up in His home 10:45 and although it was a rather conventional name at that time, 10:48 when applied to the Lord, 10:51 it was a name that had a unique and special significance. 10:55 Yeshua is the Savior of the world. 10:58 Many people want to say that there are many roads to God 11:02 but the Bible teaches that there is only one way 11:05 and that is through our Yeshua: The Lord Jesus Christ. 11:09 There is salvation in no one else 11:12 for there is no other name under heaven 11:14 that has been given among men by which we must be saved. 11:17 Acts 4:12. 11:18 Interestingly enough, 11:21 many people today don't want to acknowledge sin. 11:24 They think that to do so is to insult 11:26 or demean them in some way 11:28 and there are even some Evangelical preachers 11:31 who won't preach about the cross... repentance 11:33 or the blood of Jesus. 11:35 Well, that suits Satan just fine 11:37 because if we cannot call sin by its proper name, 11:41 then, we can't realize our need for a Savior. 11:44 Someone had to pay the price for humanity's sin. 11:47 Someone had to remove the wall of separation that sin creates 11:51 between us and our Creator... our Elohim. 11:53 How wonderful to have a God who would assume our form... 11:58 live a sinless and holy life... 12:00 allow Himself to be crucified 12:02 in order to pay the price for the sins of humankind 12:05 and then promise to return to take us home with Him. 12:09 He loves everyone... 12:11 no matter how distant they may be from Him. 12:14 Yeshua said that He came to seek and to save 12:18 that which was lost. 12:20 Is that you? 12:21 One day Yeshua is going to return to take us home with Him 12:25 and on that day, even those who rejected Him 12:28 will have to acknowledge who He really is. 12:31 God highly exalted Him and bestowed on Him the name 12:35 which is above every name 12:37 that at the name of Yeshua, the Lord saves or delivers... 12:41 every knee should bow... 12:42 of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth 12:46 and that every tongue should confess 12:48 that Yeshua... Messiah is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. 12:52 Philippians 2 verse 9 through 11. 12:55 When we read in the Bible about Yeshua... Jesus... 12:59 we realize that He has power 13:02 not only to save but to transform... 13:05 not only to transform but to deliver us from the evil forces 13:09 that seek to destroy us. 13:11 Samuel found this out for himself. 13:14 Samuel knew that he was gay at a very young age. 13:18 Born in Iraq Kurdistan into a Muslim family, 13:23 he knew that a same-sex attraction 13:25 was socially tabooed. 13:27 At 15, Samuel moved to Sweden as a refugee. 13:30 He thought that he would at last be happy 13:33 and able to live his life freely as a gay man 13:36 but instead, he became more and more depressed. 13:39 Eleven years later, Samuel packed his bags 13:42 and he moved to Los Angeles 13:43 where he lived for about 17 years. 13:45 It was in Los Angeles that he became recognized 13:49 as the 24th most successful Realtor in the nation. 13:52 It was there in Los Angeles 13:55 that Samuel lived the "high life" with private jets, 13:58 multiple lovers and lots of money 14:01 but he couldn't have been more unhappy. 14:04 He began to look for happiness and peace 14:07 in the New-Age Movement. 14:08 He did yoga... 14:10 he practiced Transcendental Meditation. 14:12 He tried hypnosis and even became a Level 3 Reiki Master, 14:16 he was still miserable 14:18 and so, one night he was at a party 14:21 with his boyfriend at the time 14:22 when he met a guy who said that he had left homosexuality 14:26 and had given his life to Jesus Christ. 14:29 Samuel thought to himself, "Poor guy... 14:31 someone's brainwashed him. " 14:33 Samuel, by his own admission, was a proud gay man 14:37 who would get angry if anyone implied 14:39 that homosexuality was something to be saved from. 14:41 Six months later, his niece, Wala, 14:44 who had been struggling with drug addiction since she was 13 14:48 also said that she had met Jesus Christ. 14:50 She was one of Samuel's closest friends 14:53 and he witnessed how she was set free from all depression 14:56 and all drug use... it was a miracle. 14:59 This really got Samuel thinking 15:02 that maybe he too should get to know Jesus. 15:04 If Jesus could help the guy at the party 15:07 and set his niece free from drugs and depression, 15:10 could He do the same thing for him? 15:13 Samuel decided to surrender his life to Jesus Christ 15:17 and he says it was the best decision that he ever made. 15:21 He said that he's never had more peace and joy in his life 15:25 than he does now. 15:26 Samuel said, "The peace and joy that I have 15:31 since I've been saved surpasses all human understanding. 15:35 I don't miss anything from my old life. " 15:37 He said that Jesus Christ has given him victory 15:41 over homosexuality 15:43 and when he tells people that he's repented of it 15:46 and he follows Christ, many feel sorry for him. 15:49 They think that he's denying his identity 15:51 or that he turned his back on the gay community. 15:54 But the truth is, he says, 15:56 "God had saved me from a life of pain and selfishness 16:00 and self-destruction. 16:01 I wish more people would give Jesus a chance. " 16:05 One of Samuel's favorite verses is, 16:09 "I count all things but loss 16:11 for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus 16:13 my Lord: 16:15 for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, 16:17 and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ. " 16:20 Philippians 3:8. 16:22 Only Yeshua, Jesus, has the power to change a life. 16:26 He removes despair and replaces it with joy and peace. 16:31 Samuel found out for himself. 16:33 What about you? 16:34 Do you want to find out for yourself 16:37 just what Yeshua has to offer? 16:40 Romans 10 verses 9 and 10 says, 16:44 "If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus 16:46 and believe in your heart 16:48 that God has raised Him from the dead, 16:50 you will be saved. 16:52 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, 16:56 and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. " 17:00 Whether you're a seasoned Christian 17:02 or a curious Agnostic... 17:04 renewing or accepting Yeshua as your Savior... is life-changing. 17:09 Samuel saw the transforming power of the Lord 17:12 as demonstrated in his formerly gay acquaintance 17:15 and in his previously drug-addicted depressed niece, 17:18 Wala. 17:20 Samuel made a decision to give Yeshua a try 17:22 and it's a decision that he has never regretted. 17:25 You may have parts of your life that need to be changed 17:29 and you just can't seem to do it. 17:31 You won't be able to do it on your own but Yeshua can 17:35 because He saves. 17:37 Our third anchor is the name: YHWH-Shammah... 17:43 The Lord is there. 17:45 The prophet Ezekiel's name in Hebrew was: Yehhez'qeyl 17:50 which means: God strengthens me 17:52 or: strengthened by God. 17:54 He was another case in which a name 17:57 had significance in the individual's life 17:59 for Ezekiel needed strength 18:01 to deal with the assignments and tasks of his ministry. 18:04 You see, he lived during the painful time 18:06 of the Babylonian captivity of Judah. 18:08 It was a situation that Israel had brought upon itself 18:12 by perpetually disregarding God's laws 18:15 and taking on the pagan customs and worship practices 18:18 of the neighboring kingdoms. 18:19 Hmmm... does that sound familiar? 18:22 Sounds like something that we do in this time too. 18:25 It had gotten to a place 18:28 where they were even sacrificing their children 18:31 in their worship of other gods. 18:33 YHWH had given them multiple chances to repent 18:36 and to turn back to Him but they wouldn't listen. 18:40 Now, before you shake your head at their disobedience, 18:43 what about yours? 18:44 How many times have you ignored the promptings 18:47 of the Holy Spirit and done your own thing? 18:49 I'm certainly guilty of that from time to time. 18:52 How many idols do we have in our own lives 18:55 that need to be discarded and replaced 18:57 by a focus on and a commitment to God? 19:00 Before we judge anyone else, 19:02 we really need to examine ourselves. 19:05 Despite the judgment that Israel faced, 19:07 the Lord promised restoration. 19:10 The children of Israel would be restored to their homeland 19:13 after 70 years of captivity. 19:15 The temple that was torn down during the Babylonian invasion 19:19 would be rebuilt 19:21 and God would dwell with His people once again. 19:23 The city would be called: YHWH Shammah... 19:28 the Lord is there. 19:30 There's only one place in the Bible 19:32 where YHWH-Shammah occurs and that is Ezekiel 48:35. 19:38 It's the very last verse in the book of Ezekiel. 19:42 In that text, the name YHWH-Shammah 19:44 is given to the city of Jerusalem. 19:47 This is also the last name or title of God 19:50 revealed to His Old Testament prophets. 19:53 The text teaches that the presence of YHWH... 19:58 the Self-Existent One... 19:59 the One whose name denotes a God who is ever revealing Himself 20:03 is ever present. 20:04 The word Shammah is derived from its root: Sham 20:08 which is translated as: there. 20:11 In other words, God is there 20:14 and just as God was sending a message of hope and restoration 20:17 to His people, so it is with us as individuals. 20:20 When we've moved away from God... 20:22 when we've placed idols in the position of our hearts 20:25 that only God should occupy... 20:27 when we've strayed away and see no way forward, 20:29 God can restore us. 20:31 The same message that he sent to Israel, 20:34 He gives to us today. 20:36 "For I will take you from among the nations, 20:39 gather you out of all countries, 20:42 and bring you into your own land. 20:44 Then I will sprinkle clean water on you, 20:46 and you shall be clean; 20:48 I will cleanse you from all your filthiness 20:50 and from your idols. 20:52 I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; 20:55 I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh 20:59 and give you a heart of flesh. " Ezekiel 36:24-26. 21:05 YHWH-Shammah proved Himself to Jaime many times over. 21:11 Jaime was born in Colombia 21:13 and brought up in a very secular environment. 21:16 His father was an alcoholic 21:18 and wanted Jaime to be just like him. 21:19 He was very proud that Jaime was drinking at 9 years of age 21:23 and bragged about it to his friends. 21:25 As Jaime got older, he was drawn into gangs 21:28 with all of the drinking and the violence 21:30 that goes along with it. 21:31 He was in and out of Juvenile Detention Centers 21:34 and by the time he was 16, 21:36 he felt that he'd had enough of that life. 21:38 He decided to leave Colombia and go to the United States. 21:42 Here in the States, Jaime worked 21:44 but developed relationships with young people 21:48 who were all involved in the drug world. 21:50 So, after two years of trying to stay outside of that world, 21:54 Jaime found himself drawn into it. 21:56 His first paid assignment 21:58 was to smuggle money from the US into Colombia 22:01 and then he was offered the job 22:02 of killing some high-level drug dealers 22:05 but he refused that job 22:06 but decided to set up his own drug distribution network. 22:10 He built a chain of distribution from Texas to New York, 22:14 Miami, Dallas and Colombia. 22:17 In fact, at his peak in that world, 22:19 Jaime was Dallas' number one drug dealer 22:22 and then one day, things changed. 22:24 He got arrested. 22:26 While he was in jail, he made a decision... 22:28 he thought: as soon as I get out, 22:30 I'm going to shut down everything 22:32 and never do this again... it's just not worth it. 22:34 So, that's what he did. 22:36 Only one week later, 22:38 Jaime was released on a technicality 22:40 and he totally left the drug world. 22:42 He became a car salesman and was pretty successful at it. 22:46 One night, he went over to his boss' house 22:49 where they were drinking 22:50 and Jaime left and headed home drunk 22:52 but he never made it home. 22:54 He fell asleep and slammed into a tree 22:57 where he was knocked unconscious. 22:58 The next morning a policeman approached his car... 23:01 told him to roll down the window and asked for his ID. 23:04 Jaime obliged him and sat in his vehicle 23:06 while the policeman returned to his. 23:09 Jaime waited for several minutes 23:11 and then two, four, six, eight, ten police cars came 23:14 and surrounded his. 23:16 What was happening? Jaime wondered. 23:18 The policeman came back to his car and said, 23:21 "We've been looking for you for about a year now... 23:24 there's a warrant for your arrest. " 23:25 Jaime told himself that there must have been some mistake. 23:29 What he didn't know was that while he was incarcerated, 23:32 they had re-opened his case... 23:34 he was now in serious trouble. 23:36 Jaime was arrested that day and sent to jail 23:39 awaiting extradition from Miami 23:41 where he lived at that time... to Texas. 23:43 Previously, when anyone had tried to talk to Jaime 23:46 about the Lord, he wasn't interested. 23:49 He had absolutely no interest in hearing about God 23:52 but this time... this time while incarcerated, 23:56 he found a Bible in Spanish and began to read it. 23:59 He couldn't understand any of it 24:01 and although he couldn't understand it, 24:03 he continued to read it. 24:05 One night while sleeping... by his own words... 24:08 he said, "Something strong came to me. " 24:11 It was a feeling of joy and peace 24:13 like I've never had before. " 24:16 Jaime knelt down and began to pray. 24:18 He opened his heart to the Lord. 24:21 This went on until daylight 24:23 and the next day Jaime read his Bible 24:26 and it was as though a light switch had gone on. 24:28 He understood what he was reading. 24:30 He learned about the beautiful plan of salvation 24:33 and found that if he confessed his sins 24:35 and came repentantly to the Lord, 24:38 He would forgive him and give him eternal life. 24:41 Jaime was so excited about this 24:44 that he began to share this good news with other inmates 24:47 and his family. 24:48 He talked about Jesus to anyone who would listen. 24:51 He now had hope and strength from the Word of God... 24:54 what a blessing... 24:56 Jaime was extradited to Texas via Oklahoma 25:00 and on the day that he was to leave Miami to go to Oklahoma, 25:03 he had his Bible in his hand preparing to leave the prison. 25:07 The guard told him that he was not allowed to remove that Bible 25:10 and take it with him. 25:12 To Jaime, it was like taking off his arm. 25:15 What would he do without it? It was his lifeline. 25:17 He practically begged the guard to let him take the book 25:20 but the guard flatly denied every plea. 25:23 Reluctantly, Jaime left his Bible there. 25:25 It was late at night when he arrived at the Facility 25:29 in Oklahoma. 25:30 Lights were out in the surrounding cells. 25:33 No one was in the corridor. 25:35 The Correction Officer 25:38 that secured Jaime in his cell had left. 25:42 While looking the cell over, 25:46 Jaime saw a black man standing outside of his cell. 25:51 This was strange 25:53 because there had been no other person in the hallway 25:56 except the guard that had escorted him to his cell. 25:59 It was very late 26:00 and the inmates in the surrounding areas were asleep. 26:02 The man asked Jaime, 26:04 "Hey, would you like to have a Spanish Bible?" 26:06 Jaime couldn't believe it... 26:08 he gratefully reached through the bars and took the Bible. 26:11 He looked at it and when he looked up to thank the man, 26:14 he disappeared. 26:15 Jaime believes that that was an angel. 26:18 What a miracle! 26:19 Jaime was moved from floor to floor in the Oklahoma Facility 26:23 and shared Jesus with other inmates. 26:25 Jaime's Sentence was supposed to be 39 years in prison 26:31 but his attorney got him out. 26:34 Jaime knows that it was his Divine Attorney... his Savior... 26:38 his YHWH-Shammah who was right there and delivered him. 26:42 YHWH-Shammah was always there with Jaime. 26:46 When Jaime was in the gangs... He was there. 26:49 When Jaime went to prison... He was there. 26:52 When Jaime needed a Spanish Bible... He is there. 27:23 When you get a serious diagnosis from the doctor, 27:26 He is there. 27:27 When your husband or wife leaves you... God is there. 27:31 When you feel lonely... He is there. 27:33 When you can't shake that habit 27:34 or that sin that has you in its grip... He is there. 27:38 There is no situation in our lives in which God is unaware... 27:41 wherever you are... He is there. 27:44 YHWH-Shammah our God is there. 27:47 So, knowing that He is YHWH... the Self-Existent One... 27:54 He is Yeshua who saves us 27:57 and YHWH-Shammah... the LORD who is there... 28:00 that should give us more confidence in Him. 28:03 They are just a few of the many... 28:06 these are just a few of the many names and titles 28:09 that our God has 28:12 and so, what's in a name? 28:15 There's power in His name. 28:17 There's deliverance in His name. 28:20 There's healing in His name. 28:23 What's in His name? 28:25 There's salvation in His name. 28:26 Acquaint yourself with as many names and titles 28:30 and deepen your relationship with Him. 28:33 Call upon Him using those many names. 28:36 It will bring you closer to Him. 28:39 It will restore your confidence in Him. 28:42 You will have strength in Him 28:44 because the name of the LORD is a strong tower... 28:48 the righteous run in and are saved. 28:51 Call upon the name of the Lord 28:53 and He will be there. |
