00:40 Good to see you each and every one.
00:42 We pray God's blessing upon each one of us 00:45 as we study the Word of God together today. 00:48 Now, we've come together 00:50 to talk about two edged sword, right? 00:52 And, you know, a lot of times 00:53 we needed to rightly cut and rightly divide. 00:56 So praise God for today. 00:58 And as usual before we go, 01:01 you know what, we believe it, and church believes in prayer. 01:04 And we believe that we need to pray often. 01:05 And so once again 01:07 before open this beautiful book called 01:09 the Bible, 01:10 I'm going to kneel here and have prayer. 01:12 I'd like you to pray with me please. 01:13 Let's pray. 01:18 Merciful Father, in heaven again we thank You 01:20 for the privilege of prayer. 01:22 We thank You 01:23 that we can call You our Father. 01:25 Thankful that we can be part of the family of God. 01:27 Today Lord, we need You, 01:28 we need the power of Thy Holy Spirit. 01:30 Please send Thy Spirit to illuminate 01:33 these beautiful truths of the hour in which we live, 01:36 help us to realize that Jesus is coming soon, 01:38 and there is a preparation that needs to be made. 01:41 Pray that You'll open hearts, and minds, and ears today. 01:45 We're thankful that these messages stay 01:46 not within these walls but they go into all the world. 01:50 We pray now for the mighty working 01:52 of Thy Spirit upon each one of us 01:53 that we may see Jesus in a very special way. 01:56 In His precious name we pray and for His sake, amen. 02:04 So within harmony with the children story today, 02:08 we pray that you've brought your sword. 02:10 Everybody has their sword, right? 02:11 We need to have the sword 02:13 because a preacher may be lying to you. 02:16 Somebody heard that? 02:17 Preacher may not be telling the truth. 02:19 You know, not every preacher 02:21 in the world can tell the truth. 02:22 Let's be honest, not maybe intentionally 02:24 they would tell something that's not true, truthful. 02:26 But everybody, 02:28 you know, telling lot of different things 02:29 and there's only one truth in the Bible. 02:31 My dad always say, 02:33 "How many ways can you tell the truth?" 02:35 There's only one way. 02:36 And we go to the Word of God today. 02:39 I'm going to entitle this message for today. 02:42 And you may say, 02:43 "Well, we've heard it over and over." 02:46 But we have to realize the hour in which we live. 02:49 We have to realize 02:51 that probation is soon to close, 02:52 and that we as a people have a work to do. 02:56 And I know many times in the pulpit 02:57 you like to hear a lot of good stories 02:59 and have a lot of, they say laughter, 03:01 and good times, and leave. 03:03 But you know we live in a very solemn time. 03:07 We have to realize that probation is closing. 03:09 And if we do not realize these things 03:11 and that we have a job to do 03:13 that we will get sidetracked with all the things 03:16 that are going on in the world. 03:18 And we're going to think that, 03:20 you know, it's just kind of a get together 03:21 and some kind of a, 03:23 you know, country club setting. 03:25 This is not what we're here today. 03:26 We're here to study the Word of God. 03:28 We're going to talk a little bit about 03:30 that third angel, that third angel. 03:33 What is the purpose of that third angel 03:36 or the three angels' message of Revelation 14. 03:40 I thought it was very interesting 03:42 because the third... 03:43 We realized that the power 03:46 of the third angel's message increases 03:49 in its importance near the close of earth's history. 03:53 Now remember, third angel's message, 03:56 as we come nearer to the coming of Jesus, 03:58 it increases in importance. 04:02 And if it increases in importance, 04:03 I need to know this third angel. 04:07 I need to know the purpose of the third angel. 04:10 Why this message God is giving to the church? 04:13 Thought how interesting that is. 04:15 And I like just to read that quickly 04:17 with the Revelation 14. 04:19 This should be 04:20 one of the most familiar passage of Scripture, 04:23 especially to Seventh-day Adventist. 04:26 If they do not know 04:27 where the three angels' messages 04:29 are found, shame. 04:32 Shame on you. Is that okay to say that? 04:34 Shame. Why? 04:35 Because we should be talking about it, 04:37 praying about it, learning. 04:38 These are the most important solemn three messages 04:41 as it were to go into the world before Jesus comes. 04:45 These are testing truths of the hour. 04:48 And certainly in Revelation 14, we'll just read. 04:51 If you read verses 6-12, 04:53 you've got the three angels' message. 04:55 You've got it in a nutshell. 04:58 But we realize it encompasses the gospel of Jesus Christ. 05:02 There's a lot there. 05:04 But we're just going to talk a little bit about 05:05 the third angel's message today, Revelation 14. 05:08 Just going to read verses 9 and 10. 05:11 Now remember, 05:12 there are many Christians today. 05:14 It's not to belittle, 05:15 it's not to try to hurt anybody. 05:17 But if you say, 05:19 "Have you heard about the three angels' messages?" 05:22 Very few people in the world will say, 05:24 "Yeah, I've heard about that, they don't know, 05:26 they've never heard." 05:28 Now that makes me feel bad 05:29 because I look at myself and say, 05:30 "You know what? 05:32 Maybe I haven't done my job." 05:34 I'm not look at somebody else 05:35 trying to criticize someone else, 05:37 but I'm looking deep within and saying, 05:39 "Why haven't they heard?" 05:41 This is the roots. 05:44 This is what, the thing that holds us together 05:47 as a movement. 05:49 It's giving out this message to the world to wake them up 05:52 before Jesus comes. 05:54 The Bible said, Revelation 14:9, 05:56 it says, "The third angel followed them, 05:59 saying with a loud voice, if any man worship," what? 06:02 "The beast and his image, 06:03 and receive his mark in his forehead, 06:06 or in his hand." 06:07 Notice what it says, it says, 06:09 "The same shall drink of the wine 06:12 of the wrath of God, which is," what? 06:14 It's going to be 06:15 "poured out without mixture 06:17 there is no mercy into the cup of his indignation, 06:21 he shall be tormented with," what? 06:23 "Fire and brimstone 06:26 in the presence of the holy angels, 06:28 and in the presence of the Lamb." 06:31 Now this is heavy duty. This is life and death. 06:35 This is not something that you mess with. 06:37 This is not something that you think 06:38 you can take it or leave it. 06:40 This is laid out there for God's last day people. 06:44 It refers to all of us. 06:47 We're not exempt from this. 06:49 It encircles the whole world. 06:53 Why? 06:54 Have you ever asked this question? 06:56 Why are these messages even given? 06:58 What is the purpose of giving three angels' messages? 07:03 I've heard a lot of people stumble 07:04 around on that one. 07:05 I've heard a lot of people don't understand it. 07:07 But, you know, to me 07:09 it's very, very simple when we look at it. 07:11 These messages are given because of the principle. 07:16 The principles of the churches today 07:18 have become corrupted. 07:19 The principle is what? 07:21 The doctrines and the teachings 07:24 of most churches have become corrupted. 07:27 And so God is going to bring us back to center. 07:30 He's going to bring us back by testing truth to see 07:34 who are His people. 07:36 So we realized, principles have become what? 07:39 Corrupted. 07:40 In Revelation 14: 9 and 10, that we just read there, 07:44 these angels represent what? 07:46 What do these angels represent? 07:49 You know, as a little child, I heard this read. 07:52 And they say angles flying. 07:53 Well, I always pictured angels flying 07:55 in the midst of heaven giving the message. 07:57 But you realize that's not so farfetched 08:00 because angels and human beings work together. 08:04 But we didn't realize that these angels symbolic 08:07 what of what? 08:09 Of messengers, of us. 08:11 We are those angels. 08:13 We are those individuals that are to give this message. 08:17 And think about how God has entrusted you 08:19 with this responsibility and me, 08:22 to give this message. 08:24 The angels could have done it, God could do it. 08:27 Heaven can do it without us. 08:30 But heaven has chosen 08:31 to let us be a wonderful part of giving 08:35 this salvation message to the world. 08:38 How wonderful that is? 08:40 I look at and say, 08:42 "God must see an awful lot that I don't see." 08:44 And certainly He does. 08:46 You know, 'cause really if you look at yourself, 08:48 do you really trust yourself. 08:50 You know, I look at myself and say, 08:52 "I am untrustworthy." 08:54 And how many would say, you look at yourself, 08:56 are you really trustworthy. 08:58 Are we really trustworthy to give these messages? 09:01 I might add this. 09:02 If we had been trustworthy 09:05 to give these messages ere long, 09:07 He would have come. 09:08 So that says, we haven't been trustworthy. 09:11 That means we've failed in our responsibility. 09:14 Now I realize a lot of people 09:15 don't want to hear about failure. 09:17 But sometimes if we hear about failure, 09:19 it will help us to get our act together. 09:23 And want to make a change 09:25 because it depends on this change 09:27 the coming of Jesus and how soon? 09:30 Isn't that interesting? 09:31 But when this gospel is preached where? 09:33 Into the whole world, Jesus is going to come. 09:37 This I can say for sure that we know. 09:40 This we know. 09:42 God's work is going to be finished 09:45 under the third angel. 09:47 See, I'm interested in that third angel. 09:49 And we can go in to the mark of the beast and so on, 09:52 the image of the beast and so on and so forth. 09:54 That's really not the purpose of this. 09:56 But we need to understand that, 09:58 if this is the life and death issue. 10:00 And I'm so shocked many times 10:03 when you talk to people is that you say 10:05 the mark of the beast, "You know what it is?" 10:08 They'll say, "No, I don't." 10:09 And they really don't care if they hear it or not. 10:13 At least we should want to know. 10:16 If I didn't know, I'd say, "Well, what is it? 10:19 What do you think it is?" 10:23 It's life and death. 10:26 The mark of the enemy or the mark of God, 10:28 you're going to have one or the other. 10:30 Seal of God, the mark of the beast, 10:32 it's just that simple. 10:34 We're either going to follow the enemy 10:35 or we're going to follow Christ. 10:37 But we know the work will be finished under what? 10:39 The third angel. 10:42 I love the book The Great Controversy. 10:45 And, you know, so sad 10:46 that many of us have these books 10:48 and all they do is gather dust. 10:50 We don't read the books. 10:51 We don't spend time underlining, circling, 10:56 looking at every word 10:58 because they've been given to us by God, 11:00 just like this right here. 11:02 This right here is holy men of God, 11:04 as they are inspired by the Holy Spirit. 11:06 They work together. 11:08 Notice what it says, 11:09 and maybe we'll come back and read it again 11:12 after we make a couple more comments. 11:14 The Great Controversy, page 613 says this, 11:18 "When..."notice 11:20 "When the third angel's message closes, 11:23 mercy no longer pleads 11:26 for the guilty inhabitants of the earth." 11:28 Did you notice that it wasn't a certain class, 11:31 it said we're all what? 11:32 Everybody's guilty 11:34 because we've all sinned and come short. 11:36 Notice that The Great Controversy says, 11:39 "No mercy pleads 11:40 for the guilty inhabitants of the earth." 11:42 The people, notice, 11:44 the people of God have accomplished their work. 11:48 God's people are going 11:50 to finish the work by the grace, 11:52 right, and power and strength of God. 11:54 Notice the work is finished. 11:56 I look at it today in my little human eyes 11:58 and I say, and I've said all my life, 12:00 "How can it be? 12:02 How can this work is so vast worldwide, 12:05 how will it be finished? 12:07 Who's going to finish it?" 12:08 And I see this, we're just getting lukewarm 12:11 and little more, 12:12 you know, lukewarm, and lukewarm, and lukewarm. 12:15 We need people on fire for Jesus today. 12:19 What does that tell us? 12:21 It simply tells us under the third angel's message, 12:24 God is going to complete His work, 12:27 its probation is going to close, 12:29 no more mercy in the world. 12:31 He that is righteous will be righteous still. 12:33 He that is filthy will be filthy still. 12:36 Notice, probation comes to a close. 12:39 And this is where you have your Bible, 12:41 turn with me. 12:42 This is where the Book of Daniel 12:44 really comes in very handy for us. 12:47 Daniel 12, I've heard many people read this, 12:50 sometime they relate, sometime they do not. 12:53 This is where Daniel 12:1 comes really into effect here. 12:57 Notice what it says, Daniel 12:1, 12:59 very familiar passage of Scripture. 13:01 Notice, this comes into play. 13:04 It says, "At that time shall," who? 13:08 "Shall Michael stand up, 13:10 the great prince would standeth 13:12 for the children of thy people:..." 13:14 This is some good news here by the way. 13:17 This is shouting news. 13:19 This is getting exciting news 13:21 because Michael is going to standeth for what? 13:24 His people. 13:26 There's going to be a time that God says, "It's enough." 13:29 There's going to be a time He says, "I'm finished with it, 13:31 it's done. 13:32 They've done all they're going to do, 13:34 I give them every opportunity, 13:35 every decision has been made one way or the other." 13:37 And Michael said, 13:39 "Now, I'm going to stand up for my people." 13:41 Oh, how wonderful that is. 13:43 "Their shall be though a time of," what? 13:46 "Trouble, such as never was since there was a nation 13:49 even to the same time." 13:52 This is the time we were talking about 13:54 as probation does what? 13:56 As closes. 13:57 What does that really say to you? 14:00 You know, it says something to me as probation 14:01 that this closes. 14:03 Notice in Daniel 12:1, 14:06 it's always a debate going on in the Christian world today. 14:11 Well, Michael it does, it's not Christ. 14:14 It says, Michael referred, 14:15 you know, and on and on, and on, 14:17 rather than to read it and compare line upon line 14:19 and precept upon precept. 14:21 It's very simple to find out who Michael is. 14:25 It's really, I want to say a crying shame, 14:27 if it's all right. 14:29 It's a pitiful shame 14:31 that we can't find something of this simple 14:33 and put it together just very quickly here today. 14:37 Then at that time the Bible says, at that time. 14:40 And really that's translated at the time of the end, 14:43 at the time of the end, Michael stands for what? 14:47 He stands for His people. 14:48 That means that Michael comes to deliver His people. 14:52 Why? Because they're in trouble. 14:55 Some of us are not getting it. We're in trouble. 14:59 We're in deep trouble. 15:03 We're in mud up to here. Somebody still with me. 15:06 I'll leave it at that. 15:08 And we don't realize it sometime. 15:09 I don't think we realize what's going on here. 15:13 We're almost to here, you see. And that's all she wrote. 15:17 He comes to deliver us, His people. 15:21 Michael, you know, 15:22 the name is like, who is like God. 15:26 Michael means, who is like God. 15:28 Now remember and now we get confused 15:30 because some people said Michael refers to the enemy. 15:32 Why? 15:33 Because the enemy wants to be like God. 15:36 Are you still with me? He's striving to be like God. 15:38 He wants to be like God. 15:40 Isaiah 14 talks about what he wants to do. 15:44 I will sit in the place. 15:49 But there's a real Michael 15:50 and then there's a counterfeit Michael. 15:52 Right. 15:54 For every truth there's, you know, counterfeit. 15:56 We know Michael who's like God. 15:59 In the Bible he's also referred to as the chief Prince, 16:03 you remember that. 16:04 And we just read where he's described 16:07 as Israel's protector. 16:11 Did you get that in Daniel 12:1? 16:13 What is it saying? 16:16 It says, "Shall Michael stand up, 16:17 the great prince which standeth 16:19 before the children of thy people." 16:22 He stands for us. 16:25 Jude 9, he called the archangel. 16:30 Jesus is called the archangel. 16:33 And how that is associated 16:35 with 1 Thessalonians 4:16, isn't it? 16:38 Where it says the dead come out 16:40 of the grave at the voice of, what? 16:42 The archangel. 16:43 Who calls the sleeping saints up? 16:46 Jesus calls them up. 16:48 He's referred to as the archangel. 16:51 And how wonderful that as they hear His voice 16:54 and they come forward everlasting life. 16:57 The saints, they're coming. 16:59 John 5, read more about that verse 28. 17:04 So the name Michael, 17:05 notice this in Scripture it seems always is used 17:10 when there is a direct conflict between Christ and Satan. 17:16 Did you get it? 17:17 When there is a conflict between Christ and Satan, 17:21 Michael is referred 17:22 to kind of interesting many times 17:24 when Michael is used. 17:25 Wow. 17:26 That helps us to understand, 17:28 we have good and then we have bad. 17:30 Interesting. Wow. 17:32 It says the time of trouble. 17:35 When Christ mediation ceases. 17:39 I mean how sobering that is to my mind, 17:44 that the time will come 17:48 when we're no longer have a mediator. 17:51 When we have to stand aside 17:53 of a holy God without a mediator, 17:56 means sin has to go. 18:01 And each one of us may look at our life today. 18:06 And we're going to see things that maybe shouldn't be there. 18:10 It's not going to be tolerated when probation closes. 18:14 We will have that robe of righteousness. 18:17 He's not putting it on us 18:18 to conceal defective character and sin. 18:21 It can only be put upon those 18:23 who have gained the victory by the blood of the lamb. 18:28 But think about it when Christ is finished. 18:33 Now watch my terms here. 18:36 I'll be watchful today because I'm saying. 18:39 I'll tell you everything's going to bust loose. 18:42 Did you get it? 18:44 Everything is going to bust loose 18:46 when Christ stands up and says, "It's finished." 18:49 When there's no mediator anymore, 18:51 that means Satan 18:52 has full control down here, look out. 18:55 He's going to throw everything that he possibly can throw 18:58 at anybody and everybody, 19:00 even the saints 19:01 because there's no such thing as a rapture. 19:04 We'll be raptured away, 19:05 we don't have to worry about it. 19:07 No, you will go through the time of trouble 19:09 if you are alive. 19:10 God's people will go through that time. 19:15 Man, I'll tell you that the devil likes it always, 19:18 if you don't worry about it 19:19 'cause, you know, you won't be here. 19:22 You will be here. 19:23 The Bible is clear that you will be here. 19:26 Name someone in Scripture then, give me some evidence, 19:30 give me some evidence from the Word of God right here 19:32 where when they were God's men and women were challenged 19:35 that he just took them out. 19:37 Is that why they threw Daniel in the lions' den? 19:41 Took him out, huh? 19:43 No, the devil want to take him out, 19:44 but, you know, that lions weren't hungry 19:45 at that time, I guess. 19:49 God closed their mouth, didn't He? 19:52 But just look and think of all the test 19:55 that God's people have been through, 19:57 they weren't taken out, 19:58 they went through them by the grace of God. 20:01 By His mercy, by His strength they made it through 20:03 and they come forth as mighty conquerors. 20:06 That's what the Bible talks about. 20:08 But the enemy now, he lets loose his fury. 20:12 The Great Controversy, we just read it while ago, 20:14 page 613 and 614 says, 20:18 what happens is no pen can write it out, 20:22 make it a picture. 20:23 Did you get the scene of strife such as no pen can picture. 20:28 You can't even write it down. 20:30 You've never seen anything on the airwaves. 20:34 You've seen a lot of junk on there. 20:35 But it's nothing when the enemy turns loose. 20:38 What a time of trouble. 20:41 Remember, every case, talking about the third angel. 20:45 Every case has been what? 20:47 Been decided has it not, life or death. 20:51 Sins have already been atoned for. 20:54 And they've been blotted out. 20:56 Notice, but we find the other class, 20:58 the wicked who have rejected and spurn God's long suffering, 21:02 and mercy, and probation is just closed. 21:07 Can you really accept that? 21:09 Can you really deal with that when you know 21:11 that's going to come someday 21:12 and you think about maybe your husband, 21:14 your wife, your children, your grandchildren, 21:16 they're not in the ark of safety, 21:17 they don't even want to get in. 21:21 They wouldn't want it too 21:22 if you want to throw them out there 21:24 in the water to save them. 21:25 Are you still with me? 21:26 Here's a tube, inner tube, you're drowning here, here, 21:28 I threw the tube out. 21:30 No, we don't want, we're all right. 21:32 And they've already been under two or three times. 21:36 Can you be content with that thought, 21:39 that it's okay that they're lost? 21:41 Can you be content with that thought? 21:43 By the grace of God, 21:44 if you be in that New Jerusalem coming down, 21:47 that you see your sons, and your daughters, 21:49 and your moms, and your dads outside those walls, 21:51 are you going to be happy about that? 21:53 No, you will not be. 21:56 Now it's the time to do 21:57 by the grace of God something about it. 22:00 Now is the time to give them the message. 22:02 Well, they don't want to hear it. 22:04 Well, pray that their ears will be open. 22:06 Pray that they want to hear you. 22:07 You can't give it if they don't want to hear it. 22:12 But you have to have that peace in your soul 22:16 that by the grace of God you've made 22:17 every effort available. 22:19 Not just because 22:21 they'll get little peeved at you, 22:22 not because they won't talk to you for a week 22:24 because you bring it up. 22:25 That's too bad. 22:27 Somebody still with me? 22:29 Their soul is worth it. 22:33 Their soul is worth it. 22:36 How many people have you heard 22:39 in some kind of disaster to say, 22:41 I think maybe I could have saved my child 22:43 or I could save my wife if I just tried. 22:47 It could be a car accident, it could be a fire. 22:49 If I just try. 22:52 And this is not just some things in this life, 22:55 we're talking about for eternity. 22:58 Well, I didn't want to upset him. 23:00 Upset him. 23:03 It's all right, upset him a little bit. 23:05 If you love them, Jesus said if He loves you, 23:09 you're going to get chastised, right? 23:10 Persecution, 23:11 there's going to be some chastisement go on. 23:14 Oh, they live Godly in Christ, Jesus shall suffer a little. 23:20 We know that God has a purpose for giving 23:25 this third angel's message. 23:26 Now all three of them we understand. 23:28 And all three of them are valid today. 23:30 All three of them must be given today. 23:32 But you know what? 23:34 You hear very little about it in our own churches. 23:36 You don't hear about it 23:37 at all in other churches to be honest. 23:40 And then in Adventism you just hardly ever hear 23:43 because people don't want to hear. 23:45 They want to hear doom and gloom. 23:47 But you know what? I like a warning. 23:51 I like somebody who cares enough for me to say, 23:53 "Hey, be careful when you go cut that tree down. 24:00 Be careful when you drive the car, 24:02 fasten your seat belt." 24:04 Seems so minute, 24:06 but yet you want them to fasten up. 24:08 Put the kids in the car seat, fasten them up. 24:14 Be careful about this. Don't drink this water. 24:16 Don't do... 24:17 You want to hear warnings. 24:19 But when it comes to giving three angel's message, 24:20 well, we don't want to hear because, oh my, 24:22 it's a time of trouble 24:24 that world has never been through. 24:25 We don't want it. 24:31 Paul makes an interesting statement 24:33 in Romans 13:12. 24:37 Romans 13:12. 24:39 Here's how Paul was looking at, he said this, Romans 13:12. 24:43 Notice, it says the night is far, what? 24:47 The night is far spent. She's almost gone. 24:51 It's almost all over. He's talking about in his day. 24:55 He was catching a heavenly view that it was almost over with. 24:59 Even then he said the night is far spent, 25:02 the day is what? 25:04 Is at hand, 25:05 let us therefore cast off the works of darkness. 25:09 Let us put on the armor of light. 25:12 Cast off the old enemy. 25:14 Be gone, you're dirty devil. 25:17 Some of you probably never prayed 25:19 that or have you? 25:22 Go away you dirty devil. 25:25 Every time he attacks, 25:27 we have that right in the name of Jesus to say, 25:30 "Get behind me." 25:31 Jesus did it, did He not, 25:33 when he was approached about it, get behind me. 25:37 I would say, "Get behind me. I don't want to see your face. 25:41 Don't want to hear you. 25:44 Get behind me, Satan," 25:46 because I guarantee 25:47 if he's out there in front of your face, 25:48 he's going to get you 25:50 because you'll be carrying on a conversation with him. 25:51 You don't want to do that. 25:53 The night's almost gone. 25:55 We need to cast off the works of darkness, 25:57 or the works of the enemy, or the things of this world. 26:00 Let them go, put on the armor of light. 26:04 Reflect Jesus Christ to the world. 26:06 Do what you were meant to do here. 26:10 You came in this movement to give 26:12 the three angels' message. 26:13 And lo and behold, most of us are not doing it, 26:15 should be ashamed. 26:19 Now remember, you know, if you are, you aren't. 26:21 So don't everybody get long faced 26:23 and start carrying on about it. 26:25 You know if you are. 26:27 And you know if you aren't doing, 26:28 if you aren't doing, you need to hear. 26:30 If you are doing it like 26:31 I'm trying to by the grace of God, 26:33 I still need to be more, more dedicated, more sincere, 26:36 more consecrated to the cause of Christ. 26:40 We haven't reached that point. 26:43 So I look at myself here and say, 26:44 "Oh, we must have fallen short." 26:46 Paul talked about it. 26:48 And then John the Revelator, 26:49 he comes up, I love the book of Revelation, 26:52 and what a prophetic book. 26:54 What a book we need to be reading and studying 26:56 in this hour. 26:57 He says it this way, when he's referring to this. 27:00 There's a purpose for giving this message. 27:03 Paul said there was a purpose, why? 27:04 Because time's almost over with. 27:06 Get away from the old devil 27:08 and let's represent Jesus Christ to the world. 27:10 I'm paraphrasing, did you get it? 27:12 Now John comes along and he says in Revelation 1:3. 27:16 He starts out blessed, I like that. 27:19 "Blessed is he that readeth, and they that," what? 27:22 "Hear the words of this prophecy," 27:25 good "and they keep those things 27:29 which are written therefore, for the time is at hand. 27:35 John said, "The time is at hand. 27:37 Blessed the person who reads, and hears, 27:40 and obeys those things." 27:42 You may be a reader, it's not good enough. 27:45 You may be a listener, it's not good enough. 27:48 You've got to read, and hear, 27:49 and understand and then do by the grace of God 27:53 more than hearers of the word, right? 27:56 More doers of the word, not hearers only, 28:00 we're deceiving our own self. 28:02 Notice that. 28:03 Interesting, Jesus has talked about it. 28:05 Paul is talking about it here. 28:07 John the Revelator comes by and he's talking about it. 28:10 He said, the time is at hand. 28:12 Paul said, put on the armor of light. 28:15 And John goes on in Revelation 22:7. 28:20 You noticed, I always had loved this, 28:21 he said, "Behold I come quickly" 28:25 you notice that, 28:26 "blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy 28:30 of this book." 28:33 The blessing is always pronounced upon those 28:35 who keep the sayings of this book. 28:38 Why is it that most churches are not interested 28:41 in the Book of Revelation or the Book of Daniel? 28:43 Because they are the two books we need right now. 28:46 They are books of prophecy. 28:47 They are the ones that tell us 28:49 what is to take place in this world 28:50 so that we're not surprised. 28:52 So that we don't say, I knew it was going to happen 28:55 but no one should be saying that, 28:58 no one has come in 28:59 and studied himself into this faith. 29:01 No one is going to sit here in this church 29:03 because you're going to hear it over and over, and over 29:06 'cause you need it and I need it. 29:08 I don't want to be surprised. 29:11 There's no need to be surprised. 29:12 You think Jesus wants you to be surprised and say, 29:14 oh, I didn't know. 29:16 Absolutely not. Oh, I didn't know. 29:19 You didn't know 29:20 because you were watching the news 29:22 rather than reading the Bible. 29:25 Messing around rather than reading the Word. 29:27 Let's just be honest about these things. 29:29 Something's going to take our time. 29:31 And whatever that might be, 29:32 we all have the same amount of time, 29:34 and we have to make choices 29:36 of where we're going to spend that time. 29:37 Behold I come quickly. 29:40 To me those sounds like warnings. 29:43 Is that not a warning? Sure. 29:46 And, of course, we realized Spirit of Prophecy 29:47 'cause lot of warning, Manuscript 95, 29:50 this was written in 1906. 29:53 Manuscript 95, in 1906. 29:56 Notice this little warning it says, 29:58 when probation ends... 30:00 Somebody help me now. 30:02 When probation ends, it will come suddenly. 30:08 It will come how? Suddenly. 30:10 Unexpectedly at a time 30:12 when we are least expecting it. 30:17 So what is going on that we're not expecting it? 30:24 Because we should expect it. 30:26 Jesus said what, you're going to know. 30:28 You're going to know, right? 30:30 You're going to know the signs of the time. 30:31 You're going to know 30:32 when the leaves are on the trees. 30:34 You're going to know the season. 30:35 You're going to know what's going on 30:37 if you're in the Word. 30:38 But now it says, 30:39 a similar comes to most of the world as what? 30:41 As a overwhelming surprise. 30:44 We didn't know. 30:48 Preacher's not worth two cents that doesn't warn his people. 30:52 He's not. 30:53 He needs to get him another job. 30:55 He needs to do something else. 30:57 It's about warning. 30:58 It's about going over the message 30:59 that maybe you know and that you've come to love. 31:02 But it's still going over to remind us 31:05 that we have Brother John, 31:06 we have a job to do and it's not just on Sabbath. 31:11 We have a message to give. God has appointed you. 31:14 Listen, you chose to come in. 31:17 Nobody made you. 31:20 Did you not join the movement? 31:22 You knew the message. 31:24 You studied the message. I've studied the message. 31:28 I'm learning all the time. 31:31 Again, God has a purpose for giving of this message, 31:35 the third angel's message. 31:36 This is going to be a little bit a reading here, 31:38 found in First Selected Messages, 31:40 page 67 and 68. 31:43 It's quite a lengthy paragraph. 31:44 But listen anybody goes to sleep, 31:46 I will catch you, all right. 31:49 I'll scream and holler and I'll quick out. 31:51 I'll make noise, I'll do something. 31:52 You know why? 31:54 Because your life is on the line, 31:55 you're worth it. 31:57 My life is on the line. 32:01 It's worth waking up for Word. 32:04 It's worth being excited about. 32:07 And it just goes over First Selected Message 67 and 68. 32:10 It goes over the responsibility that I have chosen 32:15 by accepting Jesus Christ, by hooking up with Jesus. 32:19 Divinity and humanity working together. 32:22 I have said, okay, by God's grace. 32:25 God said this is what I want you to do. 32:27 I mean, how many would turn that down today. 32:29 If you heard that voice say this is what I want you do, 32:32 how many of you will say, well, no, I don't have time. 32:36 Notice what it says, very interesting. 32:39 God had committed to His people 32:41 a work to be accomplished on this earth. 32:45 What has God done? 32:47 He's given us a work to do. 32:49 You remember, 32:50 He talks about laborers all the time. 32:53 He talks about activity. 32:55 He talks about going into, going forth, 32:59 getting up and going, showing up, doing something. 33:02 It's always about doing, not as a means of salvation, 33:06 but you're active. 33:08 You can't bear just to sit all the time 33:10 and do nothing for the cause of Christ. 33:12 He's committed. 33:14 He has a work for us to do, notice, to accomplish 33:17 and it will be on this earth with or without us. 33:20 And then it goes on and says, 33:22 the third angel's message was to be given. 33:25 The minds of the believers were be, 33:28 were to be directed to the heavenly sanctuary 33:31 where Christ had entered 33:32 to make atonement for His people. 33:36 When you give the three angels' message, 33:37 what do you do? 33:38 You have to get into the judgment hour. 33:40 You have to get into Sabbath reform. 33:42 You've got to get into these areas 33:44 and that's what it is about. 33:45 God said, I want to wake the people up. 33:48 I'm getting ready to make a move. 33:50 So this is exciting. 33:52 I'm getting ready to make a move. 33:54 See, people can't even figure out where He's at. 33:57 As you look at it, they'll say, oh, I know it. 33:59 The majority of Christian believers think 34:01 that He's still in the holy place. 34:05 When He first went back to heaven, 34:06 what did John talks about it, what did he say? 34:09 He said he looked around, what did he see up there 34:12 where Jesus was...? 34:13 Did he see the candlestick? 34:15 Table of showbread? Altar of incense? 34:18 This is what he saw. 34:19 This is where Jesus was there, the work that he was doing. 34:24 For many years he was doing it. 34:26 Now a change was getting ready to be made. 34:29 We're talking 1844, aren't we? 34:31 Jesus move from the holy to the most holy place. 34:36 Think about it, 34:37 making that move to the most holy place. 34:39 When Jesus move, we have to move. 34:43 We are to follow the lamb wherever He goes. 34:46 And if we want His mediation for us, 34:49 we have to show up 34:50 in the most holy place by faith. 34:52 Are you there? 34:54 If you do not, 34:55 you cannot be benefited by His work. 34:58 And the majority of the world 35:00 does not even understand the sanctuary, or that message. 35:03 And they have not followed Him into the most holy place. 35:07 And the enemy has... 35:08 when He left the enemy came in. I wish somebody would listen. 35:17 How disturbing Brother Mark, 35:19 how disturbing that is to think about. 35:21 Remember when Jesus is present, the devil can't do anything. 35:26 Are you with me? 35:27 He couldn't come in the holy place 35:28 or he couldn't go to the most holy place. 35:30 He couldn't go anywhere until he's told to. 35:32 But soon as Christ left the holy place, 1844, 35:36 he move what? 35:37 Read Daniel 8:14, 2300 days, 35:40 then shall the sanctuary be cleansed. 35:42 It's a simple Bible prophecy. 35:44 Man, it just nails it down just like that. 35:47 Jesus stepped in the most holy place, 35:49 His very last stop until He comes. 35:51 This is it. 35:53 He's made His last stop 35:54 before He comes back to this world. 35:56 And He's the mediator, right. 35:57 He's standing in between me and God right now. 36:00 We're in the hour of God's judgment. 36:02 Our names are coming up. 36:03 And when our names come up, 36:05 He must say, "Father, My blood." 36:08 He must say, "Father, My blood." 36:09 They have accepted Me and My life, why? 36:11 Because my life was rotten, that's why. 36:14 I'm a sinner. I'm under death decree. 36:16 I'm no good, there's none good, no, not one. 36:20 And so God doesn't need to see me. 36:21 I'm in a world of hurt if He sees me. 36:24 He sees His son. His son says, "He's mine. 36:27 Look at Him, He's mine." 36:28 Look at those nail pierced, mine. 36:30 God says that's good enough. 36:32 How wonderful that is. What good news. 36:35 The world doesn't know that. 36:38 We haven't done our job. 36:40 Evidently, something's wrong here. 36:44 Something is wrong. 36:47 The most holy place. 36:48 And so when He leaves, 36:50 the enemy comes into the holy place as it were. 36:53 And he looks around 36:54 and majority of the Christian world 36:56 as it were, 36:57 their thought and their mind is in the holy place. 36:59 Some of you will get that sometime. 37:01 You get it? That's worked out. 37:04 Well, he's still here, he's still working here. 37:08 The Spirit of Prophecy says what? 37:09 The enemy just, 37:11 he just breathes 37:12 as it were his power upon those. 37:14 And they're actually following the enemy and not Jesus Christ 37:16 because He's left. 37:18 He's no longer there. That's a test. 37:20 Do we move with Him or do we stay. 37:25 I mean, do we really realize what that really means 37:28 if we're under the leadership of the enemy 37:30 and we think we're under the leadership of God. 37:36 Yeah. 37:38 We're drunk a little wine, you see. 37:42 How real this is when you think about it. 37:46 The article goes on, we can go on. 37:48 But it said the Sabbath reform was to be carried forward, 37:52 the breach in the law of God must be made up. 37:56 Somebody's got to tell people about the seventh day Sabbath. 38:00 Somebody's got to preach the message. 38:03 Somebody's got to give Bible studies. 38:05 Somebody's got to have 38:06 spiritual backbone enough to say the seventh day 38:10 is the Sabbath of the Lord, thy God. 38:13 Sunday is no more than a work day. 38:15 There's not one iota of any kind of a blessing 38:17 put upon Sunday, but it's a work day. 38:19 That's what we have to be saying right now. 38:22 It will agitate people who do not know any better, 38:24 I understand that. 38:25 But better to agitate them 38:27 and get them to looking in the Word of God to see 38:29 whether be so. 38:31 If it's not the truth, then don't worry about it. 38:33 But if it's the truth, you better worry about it, 38:36 better do something about it. 38:40 See this is where I believe 38:41 that we are at in the period of earth's history. 38:45 We have to say when somebody say, 38:47 "Well, this is a blessed day over." 38:48 There's only one day that's been blessed, 38:49 that's the seventh day Sabbath." 38:51 There's only one day, 38:52 the other days have not been blessed. 38:54 There's not, there's only one the seventh day. 38:57 And anybody can figure out, 38:58 third grader can figure out which day is the seventh day. 39:03 And somebody... 39:08 Some people say, 39:09 "Oh well, he's frustrated about him and..." 39:11 No, it hurts inside to realize the majority of the world 39:15 that the devil has deceived them. 39:17 And there's no reason to be deceived 39:19 by the enemy 39:20 because these truths are so plain 39:22 in the Word of God. 39:23 There is no reason for us to be deceived and to be lost. 39:28 And there has to, yeah, we have to study, 39:30 we have to get back in the Word of God. 39:32 We've got to put it out there for somebody. 39:35 Somebody will say, "Well, you're an agitator," 39:36 you better believe it. 39:38 Call me an agitator if you want, I don't care. 39:43 Sister Wallace will remember the wash machine years ago. 39:47 You know what it was called? Agitator. 39:51 The washing machine, you remember the agitator, 39:53 that's what it did, it just kind of went down, 39:55 I'd say, that's how I washed the clothes. 39:56 Now they spin and do all kind of things, you know. 39:59 But it was actually called, I'm getting serious, 40:01 had anyone called the agitator. 40:03 God's people need to be agitators 40:05 in the world, in the sin. 40:06 Remember we read Spirit of Prophecy say, 40:08 agitate, agitate. 40:09 It don't mean try to make somebody mad. 40:11 It simply says present the truth as it is. 40:14 Don't be apologetic about it. 40:17 Don't be embarrassed about it. Why? 40:19 Because you're on the majority side in heaven. 40:22 You're doing what God has asked you to do 40:24 by advocating that, by standing for that. 40:27 Don't be ashamed about the gospel of Jesus Christ. 40:31 All the inhabitants of the earth 40:33 might receive this warning. 40:34 The people of God must purify their souls, notice, 40:37 through obedience to the truth and be able to stand, 40:43 notice this, without fault before Him at His coming. 40:49 Even in Adventism we can't figure it out 40:50 that we have to gain victory over sin. 40:52 Mine, mine, mine! 40:55 I don't mean to harp about it. 40:56 And I'm not trying to harp about it, 40:57 but I don't want somebody to believe a lie. 41:04 And what good would be the example of Jesus be 41:07 if we weren't supposed to be like Him. 41:09 If He come down here 41:10 He's was fully human and fully divine, 41:12 so we'll separate the two. 41:14 That He had nothing that we can't have, 41:16 but He gained the victory over the enemy without that. 41:19 And why can't we have the same power. 41:21 We can. 41:22 We can if we so desire 41:25 where we're spending our time you see, 41:26 where we're putting our effort, 41:28 well, we spend some time on our knees. 41:29 Oh, this is... 41:30 Why hasn't Jesus come? 41:34 You know the work will be finished 41:35 under the third angel 41:36 and we're just getting a good warm up, 41:38 I've talk about again Brother Mark, 41:39 I'm just sorry next time I'm just a way. 41:41 That's the way it is. It's the way it is. 41:44 Because there's so much to it 41:46 and there's so much that we've missed. 41:50 But I'm convinced 41:51 that we need as it increases close 41:53 to the end the power of the third angel 41:56 we need to understand more. 41:57 We need to understand 41:58 what our role is and why we are here. 42:04 But for 40 years Israel was not allowed 42:07 or didn't go into the land of Canaan, why? 42:10 Could they have just marched through in a few days? 42:13 Come on, church, could they? 42:15 Yeah, there was no reason. 42:17 Josh, there was no reason for them 42:18 to spend 40 years out in that mess. 42:22 Now some of you don't get 42:24 what 40 years is we better wake up. 42:26 Forty years is a long time to be in the desert. 42:29 And is not marching around in a place 42:33 and then turn around marching back, 42:35 and marching back again, and marching again, 42:39 until basically they just refuse, 42:41 and they rebelled, and they murmur, 42:42 and they complain 42:44 until lot of them was dead 42:47 but too, isn't that right? 42:52 Now tell me God doesn't want obedience. 42:56 Those were His people, were they not? 42:58 Man, He worked miracles to get them out of bondages, 43:01 Avery, come on somebody, 43:03 to lead them into the Promised Land, 43:05 representing heaven for us today. 43:07 But no, they didn't do it, 43:09 they murmured, and they complained, 43:11 and they were backbiting, and they were gossiping. 43:17 The Great Controversy says notice that, 43:19 you say, well, that's not us today. 43:21 Wake up. 43:23 Wake up, children, wake up. 43:25 Notice what the article says, 43:27 "The same sins have delayed the entrance of modern Israel 43:32 into the heavenly Canaan." 43:34 All we have to do back is look what Israel, 43:37 what they murmur and they complained about. 43:39 And were doing the very same thing today, 43:41 no doubt and more of it. 43:45 That just means we need to make a change. 43:48 This is good news. 43:49 The good news is the door probation 43:51 is still open just a little bit. 43:53 There's still room at the cross for you. 43:55 That's the good news for us today. 43:58 There's time to repent. 43:59 There's time to make changes right now. 44:02 Just don't be caught up in this miserable 44:04 forsaken world. 44:08 We live in a world were God, 44:10 the Holy Spirit 44:11 is ever had been almost thrown completely out. 44:16 Think about it. 44:17 We're thrown Him out of this country and say, 44:19 "God we trust." 44:21 Come on. 44:23 This is so sad. 44:26 Well, you know He's going to take me. 44:28 There is going to be a place for me. 44:30 We're so confused. 44:34 We're so confused. 44:36 One businessman told me years ago working construction. 44:39 He belonged to another church. 44:41 And he was a kind of high up there in the church, 44:43 but he also had a lumber yard. 44:46 And he knew about Seventh-day Adventist. 44:49 And so he always wanted to talk a little bit 44:51 and you know gouge a little bit. 44:53 When he could not, I gouged him back. 44:55 Nicely and lovingly. 44:58 You have to have an answer for every man that I ask. 45:02 He said, "I'm going to heaven. I know I'm going to heaven." 45:04 I said, "Boy, that's nice." 45:06 By the grace of God I'm going to make it. 45:08 But, boy, I don't know just by the grace of God, 45:10 you know I'm... 45:12 Oh, I know what you think about me already. 45:14 I said, "Well, Gary, what is that I think about you?" 45:18 "You know I smoke." 45:20 Come on, I'm just going to lay it out. 45:21 Worthy, come on. 45:22 "You know I smoke." 45:24 I said, "Yeah, I do know that you do, 45:25 but that's not my judgment on that. 45:26 You know it's not good for you, you know you shouldn't do it. 45:28 But I'm saying 45:30 whether you're going to heaven or you're not." 45:31 "No, you think I'm not going to heaven 45:33 because I smoke." 45:35 He said, "I'll tell you one thing, said, 45:37 you don't realize this," he said. 45:38 I said, "Well, what is that, I'd like to know what it is." 45:41 He said, "I believe this. 45:42 I believe that God will take me, 45:44 I still smoke. 45:46 And I believe He's got smoking rooms there 45:48 in heaven for me." 45:49 I said, "You got to be kidding." 45:54 In other words there's a place somewhere in heaven, 45:57 if you don't gain the victor here, 45:58 you can go there and light one up. 46:00 I said, "Gary, come on. I said, that's it Gary. 46:03 I was a good friend of his from lot of year, 46:04 so you could talk to him. 46:07 So here some people you can't really talk to, 46:08 you know, they're not going to let you, 46:10 you don't know him that well. 46:11 I know him very well for years, 46:13 so I could say what I want to say, 46:14 he could say whatever he want to say. 46:15 I said, "Gary, you're fooling yourself." 46:17 That is not going to be that kind of... 46:20 I won't say malarkey. 46:21 I don't even know what that is. 46:23 Better get a dictionary before I say that. 46:28 They're not going to be that stuff in heaven. 46:29 Are you still with me? 46:35 You know why? I know that, you know why? 46:38 Because the Bible say so. 46:40 I'm not trying to be a judge. 46:41 I might have lot worse problems than the smoking. 46:43 Are you still with me? 46:44 I'm not trying to be judgmental here. 46:45 I'm just looking around and saying, 46:47 here's what the Bible says. 46:48 And if it's for me and it's for you, 46:49 we're going to close with this because of the time. 46:51 And then we're going to pick it up 46:52 and go on 46:54 because this is heavy duty stuff. 46:56 Revelation 21:27. the Bible says. 47:01 Revelation 21:27. 47:04 And the Bible says, 47:05 "And there shall no wise enter into it," what? 47:10 That Holy City, none of us going to enter into, 47:12 "that defileth, 47:13 neither of whatsoever worketh an abomination, 47:17 or maketh a lie." 47:19 Did you get it? 47:21 There are some people 47:22 who'd rather lie than tell the truth. 47:24 The Bible said 47:26 there is nothing going to enter 47:27 into that defileth, nothing. 47:32 I'm not an exception and you're not either. 47:34 And I'm not trying to be ugly about it. 47:36 I'm just saying, 47:37 I just hear people all the time saying, 47:39 "Well, God's going to make an exception for me 47:41 and that breaks my heart 47:42 because I know that God doesn't make exceptions." 47:45 He gives you the strength and the power 47:46 to gain that victory 47:49 so that you can be there, He wants you there. 47:52 He's made every preparation so that you can be there. 47:54 It's your choice. 47:56 But my Bible says right here and there nothing that defileth 47:59 or whatsoever that maketh an abomination or maketh a lie. 48:04 Any of this stretching the truth they say, 48:06 the little white lie. 48:08 A lie is a lie. 48:12 The only ones that will be there 48:14 as that passage continues on. 48:16 It says they which are written in the Lamb's book of life. 48:20 I like that book after that we get done. 48:23 None of this stuff's going to be up there. 48:24 But only ones that will be there 48:26 is their names are written in the Lamb's Book of Life. 48:29 If your name is not written in the Lamb's Book of Life, 48:31 you will not be there, I will not be there. 48:36 Won't be there. Why? Because the Bible says though. 48:39 Only ones that is going to be there 48:41 if their name was written in Lamb's Book of Life. 48:45 And here's how simple it is today 48:46 as we close. 48:48 It's simply all we have to do 48:50 by the grace of God is to accept Jesus Christ. 48:53 This where it starts. 48:54 Because the Holy Spirit has already been working on you 48:57 and already working on me. 48:58 We couldn't even come to Christ without the Holy Spirit, 49:00 we know that. 49:01 It's not just one day you get up and say, 49:03 "Oh, I'm going to give my life to Jesus." 49:05 Wait a minute, I'll come up with that on my own. 49:06 No, you didn't. 49:08 We need to get that self out of... 49:10 Remember one who said, 49:11 Holy Spirit is already been working with you, 49:12 pleading and begging to come to Jesus. 49:16 If you want your name written in the Lamb's Book of Life, 49:19 just come to Jesus and accept Him 49:22 as your Lord and as your Savior. 49:26 And then while as you do that and confess your sins 49:29 and you lay everything at the feet of Jesus, 49:31 your name is written in the Lamb's Book of Life. 49:35 Isn't that wonderful? 49:39 There that name remains written 49:43 until the investigative judgment 49:45 which no one talks about. 49:50 It remains until the investigative judgment. 49:54 Every name will pass in review of the one 49:58 who says in Revelation 3:1. 50:01 The Bible says, 50:02 "Jesus said, 'I know thy works.'" 50:05 Did you get it? 50:07 He said the one that 50:08 the name passes in review as it were, 50:10 the character, the whole life, he said, "I know your works. 50:14 I know your works." 50:17 Paul said in Romans 2:6. 50:19 He said that he's going to render 50:21 to every man according to his deeds, 50:25 to his works, to his deeds, 50:28 did you get that. 50:32 And I can say this, if the word if, big letter if, 50:38 in that day all of our sins are not fully repented off, 50:44 our names will be blotted out of the Book of Life. 50:49 Our names will be what? 50:50 Blotted out of the Book of Life. 50:54 How simple it is. 50:55 It can't be any simpler for us to get on our knees 50:58 and ask God to forgive us of our sins, 51:01 repent and turn that's what it says. 51:06 You don't like the term, 51:07 we'll talk about more about blotting out. 51:10 More reason the passage of scripture says, 51:12 God said, "I will blot out. 51:15 I will blot out his name." 51:17 Not some judge, not somebody that pops up 51:20 and says I'm in control, I'm taking over here, 51:23 I'm going to decide 51:24 who's going to make it and who's not. 51:26 God said I will blot his name out. 51:32 Friends, that's heavy duty to me. 51:34 I don't want my name blotted out. 51:36 I'd rather come to Jesus, how about you today? 51:38 I'd rather come to Him today and say, "You know what? 51:43 Anything in my heart and life that needs not be there. 51:45 Oh, Lord, have mercy on me. Please forgive me." 51:50 I'm saying, "Lord, show me things 51:53 that I need to gain victory over." 51:54 We think when we come to Him, 51:55 we ask for forgiveness everything's okay, 51:57 and we've got it made right then. 52:00 You realize how we must look from heaven's standpoint. 52:05 How dirty and filthy. 52:09 And we're supposed to be repopulating heaven. 52:15 Jesus said, "I'll clean you up. 52:20 I'll give you the victory that you need." 52:25 That's so simple that today that we want to pray 52:29 that God will take away, 52:31 you know, we live in that time of we need to repent 52:37 or we're going to be blotted out 52:38 of the Lamb's Book of Life. 52:41 So close, we realize 52:43 we're in the hour of the judgment 52:44 right up of those who have passed. 52:47 But how close we are to the living. 52:50 A lot of debate 52:51 whether we're in that time of the living. 52:55 And what if your name would come up 52:59 in the judgment this week? 53:01 What would be the sentence? 53:04 You don't have to answer that. 53:05 Just think, that's between you and God, 53:07 that's between me and God. 53:10 If my name comes up, and when it does, 53:13 it's not going to be 53:15 what we're going to put this case off 53:16 for two or three years. 53:18 You know, how they do in the court system. 53:19 Men's on death row for 20 or 30 years 53:21 'cause they've got to go through this whole big... 53:23 When your name comes up, 53:25 sentence will be pronounced right then and right there. 53:30 That's it. 53:32 And even though the world will maybe carry on 53:33 for a little bit longer, 53:36 when your name comes up 53:38 that's it 53:39 'cause God knows everything that will happen in the future. 53:42 We need to make sure that it's right. 53:45 We need to make sure everything 53:47 that we know of is taken care of for today. 53:54 What do you say about that today? 53:56 Do we need special prayer on that? 53:58 I do. 54:00 Anybody need special prayer besides me? 54:01 Oh, Lord, I want to make sure everything is taken care of, 54:05 my name should come up. 54:07 I want well done thy good and faithful servant 54:09 in our own end. 54:12 We receive this seal of God, how wonderful. 54:15 And remember, my brothers and sisters, 54:17 if it's not the seal of the living God, 54:18 it's going to be the seal of the enemy. 54:20 I think it's very simple. 54:22 One or the other. 54:25 We can live forever with Jesus. 54:29 But we can miss out on heaven and being with Jesus. 54:31 I know you don't want to do that today. 54:33 How many would like special prayer 54:35 as we close here today with special prayer, 54:38 that the Holy Spirit will convict and convert us 54:41 if there be other changes that need to take place. 54:44 And I'm sure as I look at myself in the mirror, 54:46 there needs to be other changes to take place. 54:48 I may not know what they are for today, 54:50 but I know that there is. 54:52 Why? Because I'm not there yet. 54:55 That says something, isn't it? 54:58 There needs to be some other changes. 54:59 I need to be more like Jesus. 55:01 And so we're going to pray about that today. 55:03 Lift your hands with me. I'm going do a two hander. 55:05 Oh yes, Lord have mercy on me. 55:07 Remember if you leave one hand down, 55:08 the devil's got it. 55:10 Let's pray, shall we together, let's kneel. 55:14 Kind loving heavenly Father, again what a privilege 55:17 we have to be able to just talk to You. 55:20 We're thankful for that grace and for that mercy 55:22 we're unworthy as we are, none good, no, not one. 55:26 And you know the message of the third angel 55:28 and the timeframe 55:30 that it is in and the urgency and sometimes people listen 55:34 and they hear things and they say, oh, boy, 55:36 everybody's talking about such an urgent time. 55:38 It is an urgent time. 55:41 It's slipping past us, right now, 55:43 as we're even praying right now, 55:44 we're seconds closer to the coming of Jesus. 55:48 And, Lord, sometime my heart aches 55:50 as we look around and see our own life 55:52 and the victories that need to be gained in life 55:55 with family and friends and different ones. 55:57 Lord, we want them on that sea of glass. 56:00 We want to be able to spend eternity with Him. 56:03 And what thoughts can go through the human mind 56:07 as we think about heaven, and what it's going to be like, 56:10 and to realize 56:11 it's not going to be like this earth. 56:15 It's just not going to be, praise God for that. 56:18 And we know 56:19 it's going to be worth it all someday when we see Jesus. 56:23 We won't go over all the things that we've been through, 56:27 all the things that have happened. 56:30 We simply want to praise His name. 56:31 We cast our crown at His feet and say, 56:34 "We're here because of Jesus and Jesus only." 56:38 It's not because I was a Seventh-day Adventist. 56:41 It was not because I did all of these works. 56:45 It's not because of, there's only one because of, 56:49 it's Jesus. 56:51 We thank You for accepting us today 56:53 as part of the family of God. 56:54 And, Lord, You've begun the work 56:56 and You've seen the hands today. 56:57 I pray that You would finish that work 56:59 in each and every one of us. 57:00 Instill in each one of us that there is a need. 57:04 We have joined this movement to give this last message. 57:08 We want to be faithful to that calling. 57:10 If not, we will be found unfaithful. 57:12 Bless us as we pray to this 57:14 and give us Holy Spirit's power, 57:15 give us victory every day of our life. 57:18 And, Lord, may have all of us settled, 57:20 all say it all done 57:22 that we may spend eternity with You is my prayers, 57:24 I thank You in Jesus' name, amen. |
