00:38 Hello, and welcome to Behold the Lamb Presents.
00:41 I'm Chris Shelton your host,
00:42 and I want to thank you for joining us.
00:45 As we study the Holy Writ, we begin to clearly see
00:48 that there is indeed a tremendous controversy
00:51 between good and evil in our world
00:53 that began from this world's very inception,
00:56 a great controversy between Christ and His angels,
01:00 and Satan and his angels.
01:03 It is a battle that began in heaven
01:05 and is now being fought on this earth
01:08 with our lives being the choice possession.
01:11 Satan is in this battle to win over God's created
01:14 and beloved children, us, as his very own,
01:18 his desire is to be as God, our Creator.
01:22 The enemy of souls longs for our worship
01:26 whether it be an open demonic form
01:28 or a spy simply not following the truths of God's Word
01:32 that will set us free from sin and eternal death.
01:35 It doesn't matter to him
01:37 just as long as we're not worshiping
01:40 in God's Spirit and in God's truth.
01:43 Therefore, as said, many worshippers
01:46 are worshipping in Satan's church
01:49 and following Satan's plan,
01:52 and perishing for a lack of knowledge.
01:55 We don't want this to be your experience.
01:58 Therefore, Satan's church,
02:00 and his plans are hereby exposed
02:02 so that you will not be ignorant of the truth.
02:05 But before we join Pastor Kenny Shelton,
02:08 for part one of 'Satan Has a Church and a Plan, '
02:12 let's visit the 3ABN Worship Center
02:15 for a song that is entitled
02:17 'How Wonderful Heaven Will Be' by Steve Darmody.
02:51 As I see the marks of sin I feel a sadness
02:59 But there's a thought that always brings a sweet release
03:06 Soon our Savior will be here,
03:11 That day is drawing near
03:17 When tears, trials, and heartaches
03:22 All will cease
03:26 Oh, how wonderful heaven will be
03:34 To be with Jesus
03:38 Throughout eternity
03:42 No earthly thing can compare
03:49 To what is waiting for us
03:52 There
03:57 Oh, how wonderful
04:01 Heaven will be
04:19 Oh, just think
04:20 Of all the countless joys of heaven
04:26 A better land, a better life
04:30 Than we could know
04:34 We will be forever safe
04:39 Thru His forgiving grace
04:44 This gift is ours because
04:48 He loves us so
04:52 Oh, how wonderful
04:56 Heaven will be
05:01 To be with Jesus throughout eternity
05:09 No earthly thing can compare
05:15 To what is waiting for us
05:19 There
05:25 Oh, how wonderful
05:29 Heaven will be
05:33 Oh, how wonderful
05:39 Heaven will be
05:43 To be with Jesus
05:46 Throughout eternity
05:52 No earthly thing can compare
05:59 To what is waiting for us
06:03 There
06:11 Oh, how wonderful heaven
06:18 Will be
06:27 Oh, how wonderful
06:32 Heaven
06:35 will be
07:05 Thanks for joining us here, Behold the Lamb.
07:07 We appreciate you so very, very much.
07:09 We enjoy the special music always,
07:11 it just brings us real joy and excitement
07:13 before we get into the Word of God.
07:15 Again, we're thankful for those of you
07:16 who write letters, you have questions,
07:18 you know, feel free to give us a call,
07:19 you can write a letter,
07:21 and we'll do our very best to get back to you.
07:23 We thank you for your love then for your support.
07:25 And always before we get into the Word of God,
07:27 what do we always do?
07:29 We always pray.
07:30 And so once again we're going to pray together.
07:32 And I invite you all in your home
07:34 those who may just be listening or watching that if you can,
07:37 you can kneel with me and you can pray
07:38 'cause we need the power of the Holy Spirit, don't we?
07:40 Let's pray together, shall we?
07:45 Kind, loving, Heavenly Father,
07:46 again, we thank You for the privilege
07:48 that we have to open the pages of this beautiful book
07:50 called the Bible.
07:51 We pray in a very special way for the anointing
07:53 of thy Holy Spirit upon Your Word.
07:56 Lord, we can't understand the Word without You,
07:58 we can't understand what it means,
08:00 so we need to have the Holy Spirit
08:02 to come into our hearts and mind,
08:03 open our ears that we may hear that we may hear Your Word,
08:06 we may hear the admonition that You have for us today.
08:09 We thank You for those who are viewing,
08:11 those who are listening,
08:12 and we'll pray that You meet every need
08:13 of every heart and every live today
08:15 as we learn more about Jesus in the hour in which we live,
08:18 in Jesus' name we pray and for His sake, amen.
08:24 I always encourage those who are at home be sure
08:26 and even in the church to be sure and have your Bible,
08:28 have a pencil and paper
08:30 because it's so important to jot things down
08:32 because we have to move rather quickly
08:34 because we have only a certain amount of time.
08:36 We're going to be doing this study,
08:38 so it's going to be a two-part series.
08:39 So you want to make sure
08:41 we're going to set up
08:42 the foundation of this series in this first part,
08:45 it's very, very important.
08:47 The title of this message is "Satan has his church
08:53 and a plan."
08:54 Satan has his church and a plan.
08:59 That's very, very important
09:00 that we understand the plan that the enemy has
09:03 and how he's going to use that plan try to against us
09:06 so that heaven cannot be our home.
09:08 So, again, we're glad you joined us.
09:10 Let's study the Word of God together, shall we?
09:13 You have your Bible?
09:14 You have your pencil, pen, so you jot these things down.
09:17 I want you turn to me, I love the Book of Revelation,
09:19 how about you?
09:20 Book of Revelation is just the revelation of Jesus Christ.
09:23 It's revealing of Jesus
09:24 and how desperately we need
09:26 a fresh revelation of Jesus Christ.
09:29 Too many of us are living on day old
09:31 20-year-old experience.
09:33 And our experience has to be new and fresh
09:35 every day of our life.
09:37 And so as we turn to the Book of Revelation,
09:39 I want you to turn to Revelation Chapter 3.
09:42 Revelation Chapter 3 is very familiar
09:45 it's talking about the churches, you know?
09:48 And it's interesting the title as
09:49 "Satan has his church and he has a plan"
09:52 but notice, along with God says,
09:54 "I have a church," the devil says,
09:56 "I have a church, " ain't that interesting?
09:59 The enemy has a church.
10:01 Now you can either belong to God's church
10:04 or you can belong to the enemy church.
10:06 So we're going to be revealing as we study this plan,
10:09 the plan that the enemy has, how he's going to use it
10:11 against God's people to confuse our minds
10:14 so that we become a part of his church
10:18 rather than a part of God's church,
10:20 and then we don't even know the difference.
10:23 So in studying the God's Word,
10:24 it certainly reveals there is a big difference,
10:27 but the enemy is, remember,
10:29 he is working, how is he working?
10:30 So that he deceives the mind so that he makes us think
10:33 that we're on the right track
10:34 or it doesn't really make any difference
10:36 which it really does.
10:38 Revelation 3:7, 8, and 9.
10:42 Revelation, what? Good, Chapter 3.
10:44 You're jotting it down, you're going to go back,
10:45 and you're going to study it again.
10:47 I know that you are.
10:48 Revelation Chapter 3:7, 8, and 9.
10:50 Notice, again, we're going to indentify,
10:53 Jesus talking and telling us about this church,
10:56 Philadelphia is the seventh church in it.
10:58 In seven churches that's the last church,
11:01 that's the brotherly love, and so on,
11:03 you know, we talk about here the next the last.
11:05 A church of love...
11:07 Should the church have love in it?
11:10 Absolutely, the message that Jesus gives,
11:12 it's a love message, isn't it?
11:14 But notice what he says,
11:15 "And to the angel of Philadelphia write,
11:17 These things saith he is holy, he that is true,
11:20 he that hath the key of David, he that openeth,
11:24 and no man, " what?
11:25 "Shutteth and shutteth, and no man open."
11:29 But notice this.
11:31 "I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee, "
11:33 what kind of a door?
11:35 "An open door, no man can shut it.
11:39 For thou hast a little strength,
11:41 and has kept my word, and hast not denied," what?
11:45 "My name."
11:46 Notice verse 9 is very important here.
11:49 "Behold, I make them of the synagogue of Satan..."
11:54 Some people don't even know that's in the Bible of what?
11:56 That there is synagogue of Satan,
11:58 it stands to reason that Jesus says,
12:00 "I have," the what? "A church, I have a people."
12:02 The devil says, "I have a church,
12:04 and I have a people."
12:05 You're going to belong to one or the other.
12:06 So, "behold, I make them of the synagogue," of what?
12:10 "Of Satan, which say they are Jews, which are not,
12:13 but do lie, behold, I will make them to come
12:16 and worship before thy feet,
12:18 and to know that I have loved thee."
12:21 Very interesting
12:22 'cause it's talking about a door that is open here.
12:25 Satan has a church.
12:27 He has a plan.
12:30 I'm thankful for these promises,
12:31 and I know that you are.
12:33 As you look at these,
12:34 you'll notice there are promises in there.
12:35 There is promises of the door that is opened.
12:38 Now you remember in 1844,
12:40 we understand what happened, right?
12:42 There is a door that was open, right,
12:44 1844 that we might by faith go into the most holy place,
12:49 the most holy place, God has opened that door,
12:51 He invites us to come in where He's at.
12:53 He's promised that He's going to do what?
12:55 Answer prayer, do it in a very, very special way.
12:59 So here's a door that we can thank God,
13:01 we can praise Him,
13:02 we can bring our petitions to Him boldly.
13:05 Telling us, we can come freely to that throne
13:08 because in the most holy place represents, what?
13:10 God's throne room, we come boldly,
13:12 there's not a curtain,
13:14 there's not a bale in between us anymore.
13:16 The Church of Philadelphia
13:18 realized might well as, is the sixth church,
13:20 I believe they're able to see it
13:22 as a seventh church.
13:23 But here God's talking about
13:24 there's a door that was open during this time
13:26 that we can send our petitions to Him and also, what?
13:29 That He can fight our battles for us.
13:32 Remember, if you had Jesus to fight a battle for you,
13:35 He's going to win that battle
13:36 if you really turn it over to Him.
13:38 There's no excuse for us today to say,
13:40 "I've turned this situation over to Him,
13:42 but I cannot seem to gain the battle,
13:45 I can't win the battle."
13:46 If you turn the battle if you turn the temptation,
13:49 if you to turn the issue really, really over to Him,
13:51 you let go of it, He wins every battle,
13:54 does He not?
13:55 Most of us, we'll never question that.
13:57 He always wins
13:59 if we really let go and let Him do the work
14:02 and quit holding on,
14:03 you know, to the situation whatever might be.
14:07 No power on earth can close this door
14:10 in Revelation that is opened up.
14:13 No one can close and cut off the communication
14:15 that you have with God, ain't that wonderful?
14:17 Man might pass a law, man might do this and that,
14:20 but no one can shut that door.
14:22 The only way that door can be shut the communication
14:25 between God and men is if we as Christians
14:28 choose to close that door.
14:30 Satan can't close the door, he love for us to,
14:32 the door to be closed
14:34 so that we would not spend time in prayer,
14:36 not spend time in study of the Word of God,
14:38 but this enemy cannot do that.
14:41 Well, you know how, what can close that door?
14:44 Is if we decide that we had rather live like the world,
14:47 we would rather be involved
14:48 in a sinful things of the world,
14:50 that's very interesting,
14:51 and we can do that even by rejecting
14:54 the light that God has shed upon us.
14:57 If you reject light that God gives you
15:00 and the God gives me,
15:01 that closes the door of our communication
15:04 between us and Him.
15:06 Think about or maybe it's by turning a deaf ear
15:09 to what we know is the truth.
15:12 Satan has his church, and I guarantee you
15:15 it's not based upon what is truth,
15:18 it'd be what is a lie, isn't it?
15:20 But the enemy is smarter than that as you well know.
15:23 He's not going to be just be outward about and say,
15:25 "Okay, this is here, my church is based upon a lie."
15:28 He's going to be deceiving because he deceives what?
15:30 The whole world.
15:32 So he does in such a way that you think
15:34 that it doesn't matter anymore.
15:37 Who might be some members of the enemy's church?
15:40 Now remember, we're setting up a plan,
15:42 we've got a platform here which we're building on
15:44 because we're going to see the plan
15:46 and the way the enemy things that he would choose to use
15:49 in the very last days that there in operation
15:52 and they've been in operation for a long time, a long time.
15:56 In fact, I don't know 20 years, 25 years ago,
15:59 I wrote a little booklet, it called "Celebration."
16:03 This is a very interesting thing.
16:05 We will get into that as we go along,
16:07 and we see many people going in that direction.
16:10 And we will see it is a direction
16:11 that the enemy has set in movement.
16:14 Be very careful with this, this will be proven
16:17 as we go along in our study.
16:18 We have to be very, very careful.
16:20 How about the members of the enemy's church?
16:22 We can say, "Well, we define the members of God's church
16:25 because they keep the commandments of God
16:27 and have the testimony of Jesus,
16:29 you know, identifying marks."
16:31 The enemy has, in his ranks, those who are half-converted.
16:36 Did you get that?
16:38 Those that are what?
16:39 They're half-converted.
16:41 The ones that are lukewarm that we're reading about.
16:45 You can read that in Revelation 3,
16:47 where in verse 16 talks about those who are lukewarm.
16:52 Interesting inspiration gives us this.
16:54 And I think the principle is very, very obvious here
16:58 that a lukewarm, half-converted Christian
17:01 is worse than an infidel.
17:03 "Oh, how could a half-converted
17:08 or a lukewarm Christian be worse than an infidel?"
17:12 What is in an infidel?
17:15 Well, an infidel according to, you know, you look in the...
17:18 Look up that words, you know, in encyclopedia
17:20 or you'd look at dictionaries
17:22 or, you know, you can go a lot of different ways
17:23 and you can find out about an infidel.
17:26 It's just not believing in any religion.
17:29 So you have a person who doesn't believe
17:30 in any kind of religion,
17:33 he's not interested in things of God,
17:37 a person who lacks faith, a person who lacks trust,
17:41 loyalty, unfaithful,
17:44 this is the one here you think about is an infidel.
17:47 Now let me read something from inspiration
17:49 from Letter 44 in 1903 because it addresses this.
17:54 The Bible will address the lukewarm
17:56 because we know what's going to happen
17:57 to a lukewarm Christian.
17:59 In Bible, Jesus said, "I'm gonna do," what?
18:01 "Spew you out," which means, I'm going to vomit you out,
18:04 it makes him sick.
18:06 And you know and I know it's very difficult for us
18:08 to drink lukewarm water sometime, isn't it, you know.
18:12 "The half-converted..."
18:14 Notice this,
18:15 "The half-converted Christians are worse than infidels,
18:18 for their deceptive words," notice this,
18:22 "and noncommittal position lead many astray."
18:26 So when you are half converted, notice this,
18:29 you might be identifying yourself today.
18:31 I'll be careful, I don't want to identify myself
18:33 with this group.
18:34 If you are, notice this, if you are non-committed
18:37 to the cause of Christ.
18:40 If you hear us, told in our story today,
18:41 the switch is on sometime, the switch is off,
18:45 we're non-committal here, we're worse than an infidel.
18:49 If our words are that different from what lines up
18:52 with the Word of God,
18:54 notice this here, even in this article,
18:56 it says the infidel shows his colors.
18:59 So an infidel,
19:01 you don't put a lot of stock in one who says,
19:03 "I don't believe in God, I don't believe in the Word."
19:05 Well, you're not going to listen
19:06 to what he has to say about the Word, are you?
19:07 Because you know he doesn't even know God,
19:10 so therefore he's not very dangerous
19:12 as it were in that sense to you in your spiritual walk
19:15 because you know,
19:16 you're hot or cold what Jesus said.
19:19 He shows his colors, notice this,
19:21 "The infidel..."
19:22 Interesting, "The infidel shows,"
19:24 you know, "his colors.
19:26 The lukewarm Christian deceives both parties.
19:30 He is neither a good worldling nor a good Christian.
19:34 Satan uses him to do a work that no one else can do."
19:38 Satan uses what?
19:40 The half-hearted, half-converted Christian
19:43 to do a work that no one else can do, why?
19:47 Because this deception that seems like a person,
19:50 it seemed like a good Christian.
19:51 We go to church, we do all these other things
19:53 so therefore, we're being fooled.
19:56 Now you may want to know and maybe you don't,
19:59 and I'm sure you have a good idea
20:00 of what happens to the half-converted person.
20:04 You know, will heaven be their home,
20:05 is that enough to make it through?
20:08 What happens to the fate of the half-hearted,
20:11 half-converted ones?
20:13 In that same article Letter 44, written in 1903, it says this,
20:17 "There are those who, though professedly serving God,
20:22 are witnessing against Him."
20:24 Those who what?
20:26 Act like they're serving God,
20:27 they're really witnessing against him.
20:31 Christ cannot say of them, "Touch them not."
20:35 See, the good news is
20:36 when you are part of the family of God,
20:38 the enemy comes against you, Christ can say, what?
20:40 "Touch them not.
20:42 They're the apple of my eye.
20:43 You can't get to them because they belong to me."
20:46 But when we're half converted,
20:48 half, you know, Christian, if you want to call it,
20:51 if there's such a thing,
20:53 then the God can't stand up, Jesus can't stand up and say,
20:56 "Don't touch them."
20:59 Notice this, "He can't say it to them,
21:00 'Touch them not.
21:01 I have...' "
21:03 "He can't say, 'I have graven them
21:04 upon the palms of My hands.'
21:06 No, of these halfhearted ones."
21:09 Notice this who says.
21:11 What does, "He say,
21:12 'I will spew you out of My mouth.
21:16 They are offensive to me.' "
21:19 Revelation 3:16.
21:21 He's going to spew them out.
21:22 That's the fate of the half-converted.
21:25 That's the ones who are non-committed.
21:29 Moreover, we're studying as a Word,
21:30 we never come into a full knowledge of Scripture,
21:33 we're always going to make a decision,
21:34 but we don't make that, you know, that commitment.
21:38 We are saying things and words
21:40 and sometime our words give us a way
21:42 that we're not a Christian,
21:43 our deeds give away that we're not a Christian.
21:49 And so we had to be very careful with this
21:51 as we go along,
21:52 Jesus would say and I don't want to say,
21:54 you know, I have engrained them on the palms of my hand.
21:58 As a child of God, your name is on the palm of His hand
22:01 with this nail prints.
22:02 That's the good news, isn't it,
22:04 that we have to certainly be living for Him.
22:06 1 Timothy, the Bible says in 1 Timothy 3:15.
22:09 It tells us about God's church.
22:12 Notice, there's a way that we are to behave
22:15 in the house of God.
22:16 Do you remember that passage of scripture there
22:18 in 1 Timothy 3:15.
22:19 There's a way that we are to be...
22:21 You don't come and just behave anyway you want to.
22:23 We behave or conduct ourselves the way
22:26 that God says to conduct ourselves.
22:30 Notice what the Bible says,
22:31 "But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know
22:34 how thou oughtest to behave thyself, "
22:37 in the house of what?
22:39 "In the house of God,"
22:40 which the house of God now is the what?
22:43 Yeah, "which is the church of the living God
22:46 is the pillar and the ground of the truth."
22:49 So God's church here, the house of God,
22:52 the house of the living God, this church should a pillar,
22:56 did you notice that?
22:58 It should be something that's strong,
22:59 something that you can build upon which is Jesus Christ,
23:02 absolutely.
23:03 It's the ground of what?
23:05 Truth, so it's important that we understand truth.
23:09 What was Paul saying here?
23:11 He would start talking to Timothy,
23:12 he was talking to Timothy about the local church,
23:16 and he's saying to Timothy, "There's going to be things
23:18 that's going to be happening in the church,
23:20 you have to be very careful.
23:21 It's going to take you out,
23:23 it's going to take the church members out,
23:24 you're going to have test,
23:25 and you're going to have trials,
23:27 you're going to have things that's going to come your way
23:28 that you need to be strong in the Lord."
23:31 "Our job," Paul is telling to Timothy,
23:33 "is that we need to be engaged to restore in the image of man,
23:37 the image of man."
23:38 How?
23:40 It should be like Christ, not the image of man
23:43 but the image of Christ.
23:45 That's what we should be as we look at this.
23:47 That's our job.
23:49 The image of our maker.
23:51 God must be reflected in our lives.
23:55 So to me it's, you know,
23:58 you need to think
23:59 there's more than just saying, "I know."
24:00 How many people have you ever talked to that says,
24:02 "I know"?
24:03 I've talked to many people that say,
24:05 "Oh, well, I know that.
24:06 Well, I understand that."
24:08 But that's as far as it goes that's not far enough,
24:11 it's more than that.
24:14 How do we know how to behave
24:16 in the house of God?
24:17 So how do we really know how?
24:21 Christ Object Lesson, page 54, says this,
24:24 "Even the church, which should be the pillar
24:28 and the ground of the truth,
24:30 is found encouraging the selfish love pleasure..."
24:35 These are things that sometimes you don't want to talk about.
24:38 These are things that you'd rather
24:39 just kind of leave out.
24:41 The Christ Object Lesson tells us here the church
24:44 is the pillar should be, should be the ground of truth.
24:48 But sometimes the church
24:49 is found encouraging selfish love of what?
24:53 Of pleasure
24:55 and then an illustration is given in this article,
24:57 and I think it would be good that we run over this
24:59 as we set the foundation.
25:02 Things that we will probably be talking about
25:04 in the next lesson.
25:06 It says, "When money is to be raised
25:08 for religious purposes..."
25:10 Notice this, "When money is to be raised
25:13 for religious purposes,
25:14 to what means do many churches resort?"
25:18 Interesting thought.
25:19 They resort "To bazaars, suppers, fancy fairs,
25:25 even to lotteries, and like devices.
25:29 Often the place set apart for God's worship
25:32 is desecrated by feasting and by drinking,
25:36 by buying and by selling, and merrymaking."
25:41 The church is to be what?
25:43 The pillar and the ground of truth.
25:45 It should be the part of the Holy Spirit
25:46 it's welcomed to come in.
25:49 But sometime, we make it a place of social activity
25:52 to the point that we go beyond that, which we should.
25:55 We do those things which are not pleasing
25:57 in the sight of God.
25:58 This is what the enemy wants.
26:00 This is the kind of people
26:01 he will use to make up his church,
26:03 they're members in good standing
26:04 of the enemy's church.
26:06 Interesting thought.
26:08 Christ Object Lesson 54 also says, 55.
26:12 Simply says, "Cares, riches, and pleasures, "
26:15 you remember reading that in Scripture,
26:17 "all are used by Satan in playing the game of life
26:20 for the human soul."
26:22 It's a game for Satan.
26:25 He wants you to be his palm that he might move you around
26:27 where he wants to, why?
26:29 Because maybe we've not made a commitment to Christ.
26:31 Maybe we've said that we made a commitment to Christ,
26:33 but he knows by our actions, our words,
26:35 and our deeds that we really do not belong to Christ.
26:38 So he wants to use us however he wants to use us
26:41 in this game for the soul.
26:43 And he uses what?
26:45 Cares of this life. How many have cares?
26:48 We don't have to worry too much about riches maybe,
26:52 but lot of people dwell on that.
26:54 It's all they have on their mind,
26:55 it's how they might gain things of this world and pleasure.
27:01 The world spends billions of dollars
27:02 every year on pleasure, pleasure seeking.
27:06 It's nice to have time off, it's nice to have a vacation,
27:08 it's nice to, you know, get away from certain things,
27:10 but we have to be very careful that it's not overdone.
27:12 Do to all these things outweigh the time that we spend
27:15 in the cause of Christ.
27:17 The devil has his church, the enemy has his plan.
27:23 And he's out to deceive each of us here today.
27:26 Notice that, and he can do it by cares,
27:28 we're still wrapped up in the world
27:29 of what's going on in the world by riches and pleasure.
27:33 A beautiful little article, I thought very interesting
27:35 and informative in Review and Herald's,
27:38 article in 04/00, it's 1900.
27:43 It said, "Christ speaks of the church
27:44 over which Satan presides as the synagogue of Satan."
27:48 Did you get this?
27:49 What does it?
27:51 "Christ speaks of the church over which Satan
27:55 presides as the synagogue of Satan."
27:59 Interesting words, isn't it?
28:01 It should make us think a little bit,
28:02 do we belong to God's church
28:04 or is it the synagogue of Satan?
28:07 He has his members,
28:09 doesn't matter whether you profess or not,
28:11 are you in word and action and deed,
28:13 are you really a child of God,
28:15 have you really committed to Christ,
28:17 are you following the light that you have,
28:19 are you doing everything that you know
28:21 in the word of God by the grace and power of the Holy Spirit
28:24 to live that Christian life.
28:25 If not, we're fooling ourselves.
28:28 And we may belong to,
28:29 you know, the big member of another church,
28:30 we don't want to be a member off.
28:33 The article goes on, it says,
28:35 "Its members are children of disobedience."
28:39 The devil has members in his church
28:41 and, what are they?
28:42 They are disobedient.
28:44 As the disobedient will never inherit eternal life.
28:47 If I'm disobedient to the Word of God,
28:50 if I know what it means and yet I refuse to do it,
28:53 I'm disobedient to God.
28:55 The disobedient will never inherit eternal life.
28:58 I don't want to be disobedient,
29:00 I want to be obedient to God's Word.
29:02 Don't you see in it scripture? Do you see that in scripture?
29:05 From the very beginning in Genesis all way
29:07 to the end of Revelation, it has to do with being, what?
29:11 Obedient to God's Word.
29:14 God said over and over, remember children of Israel,
29:16 "If you listen,
29:19 if you'll listen, if you would do,
29:21 if you'll hark into the voice of the Lord, "
29:23 this is what I'll call,
29:24 this is what will happen in your life,
29:26 it's life that we choose to curse rather than a blessing
29:29 because we know we'll have blesses
29:30 if we do the right thing the best of our knowledge
29:33 and what the Holy Spirit can give us.
29:36 But what do we do sometimes?
29:38 I think we ask for that curse,
29:40 we ask for other problems in life.
29:41 Notice this,
29:44 "Children of disobedience.
29:45 They are those who choose to sin."
29:49 Children of disobedience, do what?
29:51 They choose because it's what?
29:53 Is it a choice?
29:55 It is a choice. Everything is a choice.
29:58 "Oh, he made me do it, she made me do it,
30:00 they made me do it, situation forced me,
30:03 circumstances forced me to go out
30:04 and do this stuff on Sabbath."
30:06 No, there are no exceptions in the Word of God,
30:10 this proves whether we are obedient to God
30:12 and belong to His church or obedient to the enemy.
30:15 Remember, he's going to work in close, right,
30:17 real close connection
30:19 with God's church how it's going,
30:20 and he's going alongside and then he keeps going
30:22 farther and farther away from what is true.
30:25 And it starts out maybe almost harmless.
30:28 It doesn't matter
30:29 whether we keep the Sabbath or not,
30:31 don't kid yourself.
30:32 The Bible's clear,
30:34 it's one the commandments of God,
30:36 be obedient to His Word.
30:38 Is it going to be a challenge?
30:39 You better believe we're challenged with it.
30:41 Can the Holy Spirit give us that strength and power
30:43 to be obedient?
30:44 Absolutely, Bible says we can be more than what?
30:47 More than conquers through Jesus Christ,
30:49 our Lord, and our Savior,
30:50 not just half conquerors,
30:52 not just, you know, sometime we win, sometime we lose,
30:54 we can be more,
30:56 we can be constantly on guard of the enemy,
30:58 we can know his plan, this is part
31:00 of what we're talking about here.
31:02 And we start talking about the movement
31:03 that we will hear in a moment.
31:05 Notice, it was, "Satan's work to mingle evil with good."
31:08 What's Satan's goal?
31:10 He's going to mingle what?
31:13 Yeah,
31:14 you know, when you're making loaf of bread,
31:15 you've got that dough and you're going ahead,
31:17 it's easy to put little something in there
31:18 mingle it, isn't it?
31:20 And then you can wrap it all up and...
31:21 Oh, it looks like a beautiful loaf of bread,
31:23 but there's poison in there.
31:25 We have to be very, very careful.
31:26 "Satan's work to mingle evil with good, and to remove, "
31:29 notice this,
31:30 "remove the distinction between good and evil."
31:33 Are we seeing it today?
31:35 This is prophecy being fulfilled
31:36 before our very eyes because we don't hardly know
31:38 the difference between good and evil anymore.
31:42 We don't know the difference evidently
31:44 because something that's so obvious
31:46 to maybe you as a Christian to say man,
31:48 this is not good, this is against God's Word,
31:50 somebody else standing next to you say,
31:52 "Well, I don't see anything wrong with that."
31:54 Better question would always be,
31:56 you know, or may a response would be
31:58 is what good is there in this.
32:00 Does this lead me to eternal life?
32:03 Is this changing my heart and my life
32:04 to be drawn closer to Jesus Christ?
32:07 So he's mingling err, right, evil and good.
32:12 He wants to remove the distinction
32:13 because there's a big distinction
32:15 between good and evil, isn't there?
32:17 It should be well aware,
32:18 but he's brought it into the world
32:20 where it's hard to understand anymore,
32:22 we need to have spiritual eyesight, don't we?
32:25 "Christ would have a church that labors,"
32:28 notice, "to separate evil from the good,
32:31 those members will not willing to tolerate wrong-doing,
32:36 but will expel it from the heart and the life."
32:39 If I am a child of God,
32:41 I have to be willing as the Holy Spirit
32:43 works upon my heart and in my life
32:45 to expel those things that are not good.
32:48 Holy Spirit can expel those things,
32:49 can he not?
32:51 How sad it is that we might sit there
32:53 and think today that the Holy Spirit
32:55 is not powerful enough
32:56 to give me complete victory over any issue.
32:59 How sad that is.
33:01 We must not know Jesus,
33:03 we must not know the power of the Holy Spirit.
33:06 We must not realize what heaven is capable of doing
33:09 in and through us if we allow Him to do it.
33:13 What are all those promises about that
33:14 we read from time to time
33:17 and the encourages and strength us
33:18 but yet when it comes to us personally,
33:20 well, I just can't seem to get past this.
33:23 We have to be willing to expel those evil things
33:26 from our heart and from our lives.
33:30 If I say to you, I don't believe that
33:32 the enemy is playing games, would you agree?
33:35 The enemy is not playing games, is he?
33:38 No. It's life and death issue.
33:40 He knows what his fate is.
33:42 He knows his time is running short,
33:45 he's not playing games.
33:46 Please listen to this warning.
33:49 If you don't really listen to anything else,
33:50 please listen to this warning
33:52 because this is what's building up
33:53 to what we're going to talk about more and more here
33:55 as we go along because I see it in operation...
34:00 I see it in operation,
34:02 and it's been in operation for a long time,
34:04 it's infiltrated in
34:06 and I'm afraid it's in among us.
34:09 And now it's almost so accepted
34:11 that it's counted as this okay thing
34:13 and it's not.
34:15 Sin is sin,
34:16 and it does not change, does it?
34:19 No matter how long it's been around.
34:20 Notice this, 8 Testimonies, page 294.
34:24 How dirty the devil's going to get.
34:26 He's wanting his church to be built.
34:29 Wouldn't it be sad maybe today
34:30 to realize how many members he has in his church,
34:35 and then look at God's church and see how many members?
34:39 Just an interesting thought.
34:43 How many?
34:45 8 Testimonies, 294 says this,
34:48 "The hypnotic influence of Satan will rest upon those
34:54 who turn from the plain,
34:56 notice this, plain Word of God to pleasing fable.
35:01 "The hypnotic influence of Satan," will what,
35:05 did I say not, will rest,
35:08 "it will rest upon those
35:09 who turn from the plain Word of God
35:12 to pleasing fables."
35:13 What is that word that stood out there?
35:16 Hypnotic.
35:18 Do you believe that the enemy
35:20 has the capabilities of hypnotizing?
35:23 Yes, he did.
35:25 Did he or did he not had that ability
35:27 and did it not work even in the Garden of Eden?
35:30 Absolutely.
35:31 So how many of us think, "Oh, I'm beyond that.
35:34 I don't have to worry about that.
35:35 He can't hypnotize me."
35:37 You're a likely candidate when you say that.
35:40 So, you know, by the grace of God,
35:42 see, by the grace of God.
35:44 No.
35:45 But what is the enemy going to use in last days?
35:48 Hypnotic influences as it were so deceive the soul
35:52 that you're in a trance
35:53 that you no longer know good from evil.
35:57 Ain't that the way it began even in the garden?
35:59 Yeah.
36:03 Tree of knowledge of good and evil.
36:09 Hypnotic influence of Satan.
36:13 Now who does it rest upon?
36:14 Somebody help me.
36:16 Who does it rest upon?
36:18 His hypnotic influence rest upon those
36:21 who turn from a plain Word of God
36:25 to pleasing fables.
36:28 Those who what? Reject truth.
36:32 If you're rejecting the truth,
36:33 the enemy then is going to be able to work you over.
36:37 It's only by knowing Christ, only by knowing
36:39 what truth is that we're not going to be deceived.
36:42 See, that you say, well, the Spirit of Prophecy say,
36:45 take the scriptures,
36:46 testify exactly what I'm saying here,
36:48 2 Timothy 4:3 and 4.
36:52 2 Timothy 4:3 and 4.
36:55 You've read this many times,
36:57 but notice, how it's starting to build
36:59 and how it's going to come together here.
37:01 Bible says, "For the time will come
37:03 when they will not endure," what?
37:05 Sound doctrine.
37:06 "Sound doctrine." Good.
37:08 "But after their own lusts
37:09 shall they heap to themselves teachers,
37:12 having itching," what?
37:14 "Ears." Verse 4,
37:15 "And they shall turn away their ears from," what?
37:18 "The truth, and shall be turned into fables."
37:22 That's what the Bible say, isn't it?
37:26 I read in the Spirit of Prophecy,
37:27 you says, where what?
37:29 People is going to be more happy
37:30 with pleasing fables here in these last days
37:33 because the enemy knows how to do it
37:35 if we are not careful and stay close to Jesus Christ.
37:40 It's come to the point about one of these days,
37:42 it's right here, right now
37:44 that people do not want sound doctrine,
37:48 they want pleasing fables, they want it sugar coated,
37:52 they want it easy,
37:54 they don't want to make any changes.
37:59 Somebody needs to listen.
38:01 We need to really let it soak in what's being said here
38:04 what this warning is given to us.
38:06 They have turned their ears from the truth.
38:10 People don't want to hear, right?
38:11 So they're going to turn and lot of times
38:13 when things gets too heavy, they just don't come back,
38:15 they don't want to listen to it anymore,
38:17 they're happy where they're at
38:18 rather than what is God saying to me.
38:21 Is it the truth of God's Word?
38:22 Then I want to serve Him and Him only.
38:26 That same article,
38:28 8 Testimonies on page to 293 says this.
38:31 Notice it careful now,
38:32 "The experience of the past will be repeated."
38:38 Now this is where it's advantage for us.
38:42 It is advantage for God's people
38:44 because the experiences of the what?
38:47 Of the past will be repeated.
38:50 Good.
38:53 If we know and study what's happened in the past,
38:55 we can realize that is happening today.
38:58 And again, we had to deal with Catholicism here,
39:01 we have to deal with celebration here.
39:05 We have to deal with the ecumenical movement here,
39:07 and we will because it's imperative
39:10 because the Roman Church has a plan
39:12 to deceive the whole world.
39:16 Did you get it? Yes.
39:17 To do what?
39:19 To deceive the whole world.
39:20 And, evidently, the man of sin
39:23 pulls it off for a short period of time.
39:27 I'll read that passage in just a moment,
39:28 you don't think that's true, we need to rethink it.
39:32 Evidently, he pulls it off,
39:34 and you're made to look strange.
39:37 Can you really put up with that?
39:38 Can you put up somebody laughing as you are,
39:39 "You don't go to that old church,
39:41 that you don't belong to that or whatever."
39:42 Most, generally they don't know what they're talking about.
39:47 How many of them take the Word of God
39:48 and go from line upon line and precept upon precept,
39:50 here a little, there a little to explain what is truth?
39:54 No, they take one passage of the scripture and then,
39:57 what, blow it all out of proportion
39:59 and make it say what they wanted to say.
40:03 We want the Bible to as we read it to say,
40:05 "This is what God has said,
40:06 this is what we will do by the grace of God."
40:09 "The experiences of the," what?
40:11 "Past will be repeated."
40:13 Notice this.
40:14 In the future, we're there in the future,
40:18 and it's going to continue to get worse.
40:19 We're here right now in the future.
40:21 "Satan's superstitions will assume new forms."
40:26 He's going to, what?
40:28 Satan in control, past ages look what Satan did
40:31 to the Roman Church,
40:32 just all of the things that took place.
40:34 Well, he knows that's not popular in nowadays.
40:37 So he's going to whitewash,
40:40 try to transform the Roman Church.
40:43 Are you still with me?
40:45 To give it a new form, we're different now.
40:48 Somebody needs to listen because that's not true.
40:51 It's only outside surely for those who sitting in,
40:53 those who understand it well.
40:55 Notice this, "Errors will be presented in a pleasing,
41:00 flattering manner.
41:02 False theories,
41:05 clothed with garments of light, will be presented
41:08 to God's people."
41:09 Notice this, what?
41:10 False theories are going to be presented to God's people
41:13 in garments of light.
41:16 Get it? How did Satan come to Jesus?
41:18 A garment of light as it were as an angel of light.
41:20 He's not going to come say, "I'm the dirty old devil,
41:22 and I'm about to get,
41:24 I'll make sure you don't go to heaven."
41:25 He's not that stupid.
41:26 Is that all right if I say that,
41:29 because maybe he's
41:30 because he didn't make the right choice, did he?
41:34 How could he be so intelligent and yet still do what he did.
41:40 Some time we think we're intelligent,
41:42 but you know what decisions are we making.
41:46 So these pleasing fables
41:47 then, these things that tickle the ear, the things
41:50 that we don't have to worry about
41:51 getting our toes stepped on, we're going to go to church
41:53 and have a good time,
41:54 we'll hear a bunch of jokes up front,
41:55 we'll, you know, have a good time
41:57 and everything will be good, and we're leaving,
41:58 there will no conviction.
42:00 That's not what church is about.
42:01 I wouldn't give $0.02 for a pastor
42:02 who wouldn't sign and cry for the abominations
42:04 that would be done in the church.
42:07 As a dumb dog, the Bible talks about that doesn't bark.
42:11 What good is a leader, what good is a Christian
42:13 that we won't bark?
42:14 What good is a watch dog if he doesn't bark?
42:18 I get tired of barking sometime...
42:25 But they let you know that there's danger,
42:27 there's something there that's not usually there.
42:31 Now pastor needs to and the leaders
42:32 and Sabbath school teachers need to let the church
42:34 and the people know,
42:36 so you're not fooled that the enemy is there
42:38 and knocking at the door,
42:39 he's pretending to be Christ, "Open the door. Let me in."
42:43 You have to say no.
42:48 Experiences of the past.
42:51 And so this is where Satan will come to the point to where
42:54 he will deceive, if what?
42:56 If possible the very elect.
42:59 These are things that we study.
43:01 I don't feel like and I said, I don't feel like the elect.
43:06 But if it were possible,
43:08 it's not possible to deceive the elect of God.
43:12 Somebody say with me.
43:16 Those who have their minds stayed upon Christ,
43:18 those who stay in the word and learn what truth is
43:21 and know what truth is,
43:22 keep their hand in the hand of God, right,
43:24 Hand of Jesus Christ, empowered by the Holy Spirit,
43:27 you will not fall,
43:28 you will not be deceived
43:30 because you know what truth is,
43:31 and you come to love that truth.
43:35 There's a difference.
43:37 "I know what it is, and I go to church."
43:39 And I say, "No, those are my commitments."
43:42 So many times over and over and over
43:43 how happy we should be on Sabbath,
43:45 they will come in the presence of God
43:48 to worship like all of heaven is worshiping today.
43:53 Not on any other day.
43:55 Deceive if possible the very elect.
43:59 Listen, listen these last words of this paragraph.
44:02 "The most seducing influence will be exerted,
44:07 minds will be hypnotized."
44:13 Minds will be what?
44:15 Will be hypnotized.
44:17 See the problem is that when we're hypnotized
44:19 and we don't think that we are.
44:24 The enemy is seeking to fill up his church.
44:30 He's seeking to make sure
44:32 every seat is full in his church.
44:35 And, you know what?
44:36 He's working toward that, but God help us
44:38 that we're not seeking to fill up the empty seats.
44:42 I'm not saying anybody's not blaming anyone necessarily,
44:44 I'm just saying.
44:46 Are we working as hard as he's working?
44:51 Is he not working hard?
44:53 Yes, that's why you went through
44:55 what you went through this week.
44:57 That's why you got the little knocks
44:59 and veins on your head.
45:00 That's why things are happening,
45:01 people say things going on, we don't want to understand,
45:03 to discourage to dishearten us to say, "What's the use?"
45:10 He's seeking to fill up his church
45:13 with his people just like Him.
45:16 Remember, we know when the image of God, right,
45:20 is fully reproduced in man, He will what?
45:22 He will come back.
45:24 The devil says, "My people will have my image in me."
45:27 See he's just copy cat, everything for every truth.
45:29 I would say he always put it together that way,
45:31 and you can't go wrong.
45:33 So he says when their character,
45:35 when my character,
45:36 the enemy says it's fully reproduced in him
45:37 and say, "They're going to be mine.
45:40 They're going to do the bidding I want them to do.
45:42 I can't maybe go out and do all these things here,
45:44 but I can use, I can use Kenny to do this.
45:49 I can use John to do this. I can use Pete to do this."
45:52 You see?
45:53 "And I don't even want them to know that I'm using them."
45:59 But if we know what truth is, we'll understand it.
46:02 Same time when he's working,
46:03 God is working to the power of the Holy Spirit
46:06 to fill His church with people just like Him.
46:11 We have that choice to make.
46:13 How many of you heard of the celebration movement?
46:18 Anybody heard of the celebration movement?
46:20 See I've through that many, many years ago,
46:23 and I hope to find that little booklet
46:25 so we can offer that some time
46:26 and I don't want to get ahead of self here.
46:28 But this is a movement
46:30 that we're going to be looking at very closely.
46:34 How many of you have heard of Romans or Rome's Vatican II?
46:39 Anybody heard Rome's Vatican II?
46:43 Friends, because we don't understand celebration
46:45 because we don't understand what took place
46:47 at Rome's Vatican II,
46:49 we've missed out the plan
46:51 that the papacy has to ensnare you and me
46:55 in their form of worship.
46:58 Our form in Adventism of worship
47:00 has changed tremendously,
47:03 maybe not in the place that you're at
47:05 or at right here but around the world.
47:09 Because there was, the enemy had a plan,
47:12 we make sure we don't fall into that.
47:16 So if no one's really heard about Rome's Vatican II
47:20 what it is simply this and we'll talk more about it.
47:23 It's a strategy, notice this, it's a strategy of Rome,
47:28 I'll call it the papacy so we get squared away,
47:30 to bring all churches into her fold.
47:35 That makes sense?
47:37 Rome has what?
47:39 A plan, Satan has his church, he has a plan.
47:44 The plan under the Vatican II and documented
47:48 and written now is to bring all churches
47:51 back to the mother church.
47:55 We're talking about Protestants too.
47:58 And you think that's impossibility.
48:00 No, it's not, no it's not,
48:03 not if what we've read in the Word of God
48:05 that the enemy is going to change in Spirit of Prophecy
48:08 the way that he conducts himself,
48:11 and the way that people look at the church.
48:16 He's changing his method so it's more acceptable.
48:20 We've time to read a few of those things.
48:23 Now you say he can't bring all churches into her fold.
48:27 I'm going to read some of this quick as I can,
48:28 Revelation 17, jot it down,
48:30 and you can have the opportunity
48:33 to read it little bit later.
48:35 Revelation 17,
48:37 I'm going to read verses 12 and 13.
48:40 Here's how the enemy does his work.
48:42 Notice that, versus, what, 12 and 13,
48:44 Revelation 17.
48:45 Notice this, "And the 10 horns which thou sawest are 10 kings,
48:50 which have received no kingdom as yet,"
48:53 notice, "but receive power
48:55 as kings one hour with the beast."
48:59 Did you get it?
49:00 Short period of time.
49:02 Notice this, verse 13, "These have one mind,
49:07 and shall give their power and strength unto the beast."
49:12 Of course, you went 14 on down.
49:13 "This power makes war," with what?
49:15 Notice the verse 14, "with the Lamb,
49:17 and the Lamb shall overcome them."
49:20 Notice it.
49:22 All the world as the war comes together,
49:23 we need to find out how in this world,
49:26 how in this world can the enemy do that
49:28 from Rome's power under,
49:30 you know, the strategy plan that they have
49:32 to bring all of us under
49:34 to the one little roof as it were,
49:35 and they can claim that we are all one with them.
49:38 Evidently, it says they all have one mind.
49:41 A short period of time,
49:42 it seems that they've come together.
49:45 Interesting.
49:47 So Vatican's plan
49:50 is put into action.
49:53 And when that plans put into action,
49:55 it has been for a long time,
49:57 it's going to remove all distinctions
49:59 between worship services of all churches
50:03 and established one universal service.
50:07 Very interesting.
50:08 You think that can't be done.
50:10 I'll show you how it can be done.
50:12 Don't have time but I'll show you.
50:14 What does Rome's plan on using to accomplish...
50:17 What is Rome's plan on using to accomplish this?
50:21 Two things quickly,
50:22 they're going to use the ecumenical movement
50:25 and number two celebration type services.
50:30 So the process things we come up with all the stuff.
50:32 No, it came from the papacy from Rome Church.
50:37 Popes are living up to their names
50:41 Pontifex Maximus, what is that simply mean?
50:45 It means supreme bridge builder,
50:50 they're living up to their names,
50:51 they want to build like what?
50:53 A bridge to the Protestant world
50:55 have us come over and be accepted by them.
50:58 Please notice that very interesting.
51:00 Rome's goal to make sure
51:02 that know, when they implement these things
51:04 and are and have been implementing them
51:06 that there's no one
51:07 that's going to protest her authority.
51:10 We're going to accept it.
51:12 Have you ever seen thing like that
51:13 in the last several years how Protestants
51:14 just grasping hands with the papacy
51:16 and shaking hands
51:18 with the big leaders of the Protestant movement
51:20 and everybody saying they're different now,
51:21 everything's going to work out real good.
51:23 We're going to accept their style of worship.
51:26 Absolutely.
51:28 So Rome's purpose, once again, is what?
51:30 To bring all mankind into the, notice this, the church's fold.
51:36 This is their goal, this is their...
51:37 They write it down themselves, surely to beat,
51:41 somebody help me.
51:43 That we need to know
51:45 this is been going on for years in little book on celebration,
51:47 so it had to be 25 years or more ago
51:50 wrote this little booklet about this.
51:53 It's going on, heavy duty at the time.
51:59 Anybody know Malachi Martin?
52:02 Yeah.
52:03 He's a Vatican expert in his book about The Jesuits.
52:08 Yes.
52:09 Notice what it says here, page 318, notice what he says,
52:13 he tells us this.
52:14 On January 25th, 1959, Pope John the 23rd
52:19 call for ecumenical council.
52:21 So what's he got, now three months after
52:23 the other pope died, he called and said,
52:24 "I want a council meeting, I want things changed up here,
52:27 things are not going the way we think they need to go."
52:29 His purpose was to present
52:30 the beliefs of the Roman Catholicism
52:34 as updated form
52:36 so that they would be more intelligible
52:38 than ever to modern man.
52:41 Did you get it?
52:42 All stuff the way were before
52:44 was, kind of, confusing thereabout,
52:45 said to modern man,
52:46 we're going to give this to the whole world,
52:48 they need to understand what we're saying here.
52:49 He also hope that we're such
52:52 and updating the contemporary world of men
52:54 would feel attracted to the Catholic faith,
52:58 especially, now that the Roman Catholic Church
53:01 was adopting a conciliatory stand.
53:05 The Catholic Church says,
53:07 "If we're not going to get along with the process,
53:08 they're not going to come back to us
53:10 unless we have a conciliatory stand,
53:11 which means a reconciling, which means, we need..."
53:15 Okay listen, "We need to make friends with,
53:20 we need to gain friends by being kind
53:24 instead of having the name that we used have."
53:28 All of a plan by examining the doctrines,
53:31 the teachings of Vatican II
53:33 which, you know, in imprint a change was coming,
53:37 the church worship format and ecumenical involvement.
53:42 Rome's plan according to the document,
53:45 quickly couple of minutes left, of Vatican II Volume I,
53:49 December 1963 says this.
53:52 This is their plan.
53:53 It was, "To foster whatever can promote union
53:56 among all who believe in Christ,"
53:59 what?
54:00 Bridge the gap between all who believe in Jesus Christ.
54:04 "To strengthen whatever can help
54:05 to call all mankind into the churches full."
54:12 Catholic folk.
54:13 Did you get that?
54:17 And they said, particularly, according to...
54:20 It says particularly here.
54:21 We need...
54:22 There's reasons for undertaking this reform
54:24 and promotion for liturgy.
54:26 Think about that that's prescribed form of what?
54:29 Of ritual or public worship
54:30 in any of various Christian churches.
54:33 They want to change the form of what?
54:35 Of the way that we worship.
54:37 They want to do it in the way that they believe
54:39 that they can gain
54:41 and that we will all accept that.
54:42 This will be the main point,
54:44 main instrument for reclamation
54:47 as it we're bringing back to reclaiming of the churches.
54:51 We have the opportunity, friends, you must have known,
54:53 we have opportunity to know this plan
54:56 and to lay this plan out.
54:58 And in this plan, we will find that
55:00 it's incorporating spiritualism,
55:04 apostate Protestantism, and of course, Rome.
55:09 Rome has a plan.
55:13 The enemy has his church, and he has a plan.
55:19 It's been laid out
55:21 we can read exactly what their plans are.
55:24 They think Protestantism, I guess,
55:25 is so off the rocker that we don't understand
55:28 and can read what they put in print,
55:30 we what, 'cause many of us not reading
55:31 and because we don't know,
55:33 but we need to understand this plan
55:35 and then as we understand it, we're going to do what?
55:38 We're going to make sure we don't follow that plan.
55:41 We're going to talk much more about that in the second part.
55:43 Right now I have a quick word of prayer.
55:44 I've only got 20 seconds left,
55:46 I'm going to pray for you right now
55:47 for making decisions for Christ.
55:48 Father in heaven,
55:50 we thank You for Your precious word.
55:51 Lest we pray those who are making decisions
55:53 given us information now
55:54 that we're going to follow through,
55:55 we're going to understand, and we thank You,
55:57 and we love You in Jesus' name.
55:58 Amen.
56:00 I appreciate you joined us,
56:01 and we look forward to spend some time with you.
56:03 You know, stay in the Word of God,
56:04 stay close to Him.
56:06 God bless you.
56:07 Hello, and welcome back, friends.
56:09 God given knowledge, truly, is power
56:12 in the spiritual warfare that we find ourselves in.
56:15 In closing, allow me to read from one of my favorite books
56:18 that is entitled The Great Controversy,
56:20 page 518.
56:22 "When there is no special effort made
56:25 to resist his power,
56:27 when indifference prevails in the church and the world,
56:30 Satan is not concerned for he is in no danger
56:34 of losing those whom
56:35 he is leading captive at his will.
56:37 But when the attention is called to eternal things,
56:41 and the souls are inquiring, 'What must I do to be saved?'
56:46 He is on the ground, seeking to match his power
56:49 against the power of Christ
56:50 and to counteract the influence of the Holy Spirit."
56:54 Dear, friends, our very existence
56:57 depends upon our humble earnest desire
57:00 to learn what truth is,
57:01 accept Christ as our Lord and Savior and worship Him
57:06 in a church that is teaching as He teaches in Scripture.
57:10 And as always,
57:12 we're making this two-part series,
