00:38 Hello, and welcome to Behold the Lamb presents
00:41 I'm Chris Shelton, your host, and I'd like to welcome you 00:44 to another wonderful Bible study 00:46 with Pastor Kenny Shelton. 00:48 Today, we're going to look at something called 00:50 "The Investigative Judgment." 00:52 The Investigative Judgment, you know, 00:54 many people live as though they don't have to own up 00:57 to anything or anybody. 01:00 They don't want to be judged by anyone, 01:03 but as we become students of the Word, 01:05 we find that there are really 01:06 just two classes of people living on this earth, 01:10 the righteous and the unrighteous. 01:13 And how are we going to know who is in which class. 01:16 God said, we are going to know 01:17 because there is an investigative judgment. 01:21 In fact, 01:22 the investigative judgment has already begun. 01:27 So today, we're going to find out 01:28 just a little bit more about it and who's going to be in it, 01:32 but first let's go to the 3ABN Worship Center 01:35 and listen to a song that is entitled, 01:38 "Remember Me," by Sandra Enterman. 01:55 Remember Me 02:00 In a Bible cracked and faded 02:03 By the years 02:09 Remember Me 02:13 In a sanctuary filled 02:15 With silent prayer 02:22 And age to age 02:25 And heart to heart 02:29 Bound by grace and peace 02:36 Child of wonder 02:39 Child of God 02:42 I've remembered you 02:48 Remember Me 03:02 Remember Me 03:07 When the color of the sunset 03:10 Fills the sky 03:16 Remember Me 03:20 When you pray and tears of joy 03:22 Fall from your eyes 03:29 And age to age 03:32 And heart to heart 03:36 Bound by grace and peace 03:42 Child of wonder 03:45 Child of God 03:49 I've remembered you 03:55 Remember Me 04:09 Remember Me 04:13 When the children leave their Sabbath school 04:18 With smiles 04:22 Remember Me 04:26 When they're old enough to teach 04:29 Old enough to preach 04:32 Old enough to leave 04:37 And age to age 04:40 And heart to heart 04:44 Bound by grace and peace 04:50 Child of wonder 04:53 Child of God 04:56 I've remembered you 05:02 Remember Me 05:05 Age to age and heart to heart 05:08 Child of wonder 05:10 Child of God 05:15 Remember Me 05:17 Age to age and heart to heart 05:20 Child of wonder 05:22 Child of God 05:27 Remember Me 05:51 Thank you for joining us here 05:52 once again in Behold the Lamb Ministries, 05:54 we really appreciate each and every one of you. 05:57 Thank you for your prayers, your support of this ministry 05:59 and all the ministries around the world 06:01 that's endeavoring to get the truth 06:03 into every home. 06:04 God bless you, and we thank you for it. 06:06 Today, we're going to be talking about something 06:07 very, very interesting, The Investigative Judgment. 06:11 Once again it's a subject that's misunderstood by many, 06:14 and that's why we need to go over it 06:16 based on the Word of God to find out these truths. 06:19 And we'll find this a life and death issues 06:21 many people do not realize that life and death issue 06:25 that we understand investigative phase 06:27 of this judgment. 06:29 Before we get into that, naturally we want to pray, 06:31 we always do. 06:32 So we ask that you would kneel with us, 06:34 where you can, 06:35 and let's pray together, shall we? 06:39 Loving Father in Heaven, 06:40 again we thank You for the privilege of prayer, 06:42 we thank You that we can call You our Father. 06:44 Thankful that we can call upon Your name, 06:46 You said that You would answer and You would hear. 06:47 Lord, we need Your Holy Spirit, send Your Holy Spirit, 06:50 may You illuminate these beautiful words 06:52 that go into our hearts and our minds 06:54 to become a part of us. 06:55 We may understand it, 06:57 become more richly spiritually in Your name. 06:59 Thank You for hearing, thank You for answering prayer, 07:01 thank You for every person now in the sound of my voice 07:04 in Jesus' name we pray, amen. 07:09 Again as we study The Investigative Judgment, 07:12 we look at three phases of the judgment, 07:14 and a lot of people think, 07:15 oh, there's just one phase of the judgment, 07:17 but there's three phases, number one, we just mentioned, 07:19 The Investigative Phase of the Judgment, 07:21 investigative phase of the judgment 07:23 is the judge we're talking, 07:24 takes place before Christ comes. 07:27 It makes sense that you're going to have... 07:29 if something happens you send out an investigator, 07:31 you see what happened and who did what, where, 07:34 and so on and so forth and then sentence is past. 07:37 So the Investigative Phase is the first part. 07:39 Second is the Judgment of the Lost, 07:42 and that is during the 1000 year, 07:45 millennium period, in 1000 years, you know, 07:47 Christ comes, you have the 1000 years, 07:49 and then you had the end of the 1000 years. 07:52 The Executive Department, 07:53 that's judgment is the third part here 07:56 that we want to look at or simply, 07:57 I could say the punishment is what is at the end 08:00 and the close of the 1000 years. 08:02 So three phases of it quickly, 08:04 you can see how it's divided down. 08:06 The Investigative Judgment, keep this in mind as we study, 08:09 is announced by the first angel's message. 08:13 So we can know there is a time, 08:14 we're not gonna spend time on all of that, 08:15 on this lesson, but we can know 08:18 when the investigative part of the judgment has begun 08:22 as by looking at Revelation 14:6, 7, 08:27 is for the judgment hour has, what? 08:29 Is come. The judgment is come. 08:32 We have been living in the judgment hour 08:34 for a long time. 08:36 If people recognize that, 08:37 our lives may be a little bit different, 08:39 our priorities may be a little bit different. 08:43 If we really realize that we are in the judgment, 08:46 many, many millions, millions of names 08:50 have already come up in the judgment. 08:54 Did you get that? 08:56 Ye billions have already come up in the judgment, 09:00 and that we're talking about 09:01 those who have passed off of the scene, 09:04 the next will come with those of the living. 09:07 And that means, your name and my name will come up, 09:11 and when our name comes up in the judgment, 09:13 sins will be passed, then you will not know it, 09:17 I will not know it here, but it will be passed before. 09:20 We'll discuss that little more, 09:22 I'll then give an illustration as we go along. 09:24 What is the condition... 09:26 This might help us. 09:27 What is the condition of the world 09:29 during this time of the judgment? 09:31 When the judgment hour commences 09:32 which it already has a long time ago, 1844. 09:36 What is the condition of the world? 09:39 Well, I looked up just a little paragraph 09:41 in the Great Controversy in 491. 09:43 The Bible is very clear about the condition, 09:45 it's going to be worse and worse isn't it, 09:48 before the coming of Jesus. 09:49 People are going to be out doing their own things, 09:52 and so we need to look closely. 09:53 Great Controversy just says this, 09:55 "The righteous and the wicked 09:58 will be still be living upon the earth 10:01 in their mortal state..." 10:03 So what about those, 10:04 the righteous one and the wicked are still what? 10:07 Going around just doing what we're doing every day. 10:10 Notice, "Men will be planting and they will be building, 10:14 they're going to be eating and drinking..." 10:16 just like what, in the days of what? 10:18 Of Noah. 10:20 Notice this "All are unconscious 10:23 that the final irrevocable decision 10:26 has been pronounced in the sanctuary above." 10:30 That's where Jesus win, won it. 10:31 Went back He says and now then in the heavenly sanctuary 10:34 and what's He doing? 10:36 He's working in our behalf. 10:37 He's pleading our cases, why? 10:39 Because we're in the hour of God's judgment. 10:42 Very, very important that we get that in our mind 10:45 and we can say, well, 10:47 what do you mean there's sins past 10:48 and we don't even know it. 10:50 You remember at the flood, what happened? 10:52 The door of the ark closed seven days before what? 10:56 Before it rained. 10:57 What did that mean when that door closed? 11:01 That means probation closed, 11:03 not another person would come in, 11:04 so that means what? 11:05 The decision had already been made in heaven. 11:09 The world knew it not. 11:11 They just laughed and mocked and continued on. 11:14 They did not realize that their doom was fixed. 11:18 God put a separation and He sealed 11:19 when He closed that door 11:21 between the righteous and the wicked. 11:25 Think about probation had closed, 11:27 there would be no changing of it. 11:29 And this is what we're talking about here today. 11:31 In fact Matthew 24:39, God says, 11:36 "So shall also the coming of the Son of man be." 11:40 Does that make sense? 11:42 So shall also the coming of the Son of man be 11:46 as it what? 11:48 As it was in the days of Noah, investigative judgment. 11:50 Notice this passage of scripture with me, 11:53 found in Mark 13:35 and 36. 11:57 Mark 13:35 and 36, 12:00 here we would just do a couple of words here 12:02 that will help us because of our time 12:04 but you read it all 12:06 because it is imperative that we read scripture 12:08 and have it in the context of scripture. 12:11 Mark 13:35 and 36, simply notice the words, 12:15 I underline this here, "Watch ye therefore, 12:18 'Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping.'" 12:22 These are words we need to be careful 12:24 especially in Seventh-day Adventism 12:25 because you hear these messages 12:27 over and over and we get sleepy. 12:30 We think we know, what we think we've got it all 12:32 because you know it doesn't mean 12:34 you're going to be saved, 12:35 because you have a head knowledge doesn't mean 12:37 you're going to be saved 12:38 because you heard a million times 12:40 doesn't mean you're going to be saved in God's kingdom. 12:42 God said, there's something here, 12:43 there's a warning here that you need to be watching. 12:47 You need to be watching why? 12:49 He's going to come suddenly and when He comes, what? 12:52 He might find you sleeping, 12:54 will be a little lull time in our Christian experience 12:56 that we're little bit dull, 12:58 we're not spiritual like we should be 13:00 and that's the time the enemy wants 13:01 to catch us off guard. 13:03 I say certainly today 13:05 we are living in perilous times, 13:07 would we say that? 13:09 We're living because I use the word dangerous times, 13:12 could I use maybe the word we're in, risky times, 13:15 we're living in this world. 13:16 You're running a risk 13:18 every time you go out of the house. 13:20 Night time you're running a risk, 13:21 there's a thief, there's a robber. 13:23 You're running a risk of hitting somebody 13:25 head on in a car 13:26 that's been maybe taking things they shouldn't be taking. 13:29 It's risky business just living, going to work, 13:32 just existing today. 13:33 It's a dangerous time in which we are living. 13:38 And maybe the growing danger of this passage, 13:40 the growing danger of this here for the Christian 13:44 is that it's possible that we may become weary 13:47 in well doing. 13:49 We may get a little tired of it because you know people's 13:52 sometime don't do you right. 13:54 You know as a Christian you try to do the right thing 13:56 and sometimes it backfires in your face 13:58 and makes you get discouraged, why do anything for anybody. 14:02 Why try to do something good or try to do something good, 14:05 it blows up in your face. 14:06 But there's risky times, remember, 14:09 we may get weary in well doing. 14:11 We may get weary of watching and waiting. 14:15 Jesus said to us, you need to pray, 14:18 you need to watch, right? 14:20 You need to be praying, you need to be ready, 14:22 so that means on guard all the time. 14:25 If not, what might happen? 14:27 If I'm not watching, and praying, and studying, 14:29 I'm telling you right now, 14:30 my mind is going to turn toward the world. 14:33 That's what happens. 14:35 And a lot of the attractions of the world, 14:38 earth, just dislearn you. 14:39 I want to call them, attractions are here 14:41 and distractions over here 14:43 and a whole lot of action over here. 14:47 That's what the enemy is using to get our eyes off of Christ 14:50 in this time. 14:52 What I probably think at least what very few people 14:55 considering, I'm saying very few people considering 14:57 the world's population, 15:00 know that we are now living in the great day of what? 15:03 Atonement. 15:05 We're living in the great Day of Atonement. 15:07 Christ is making atonement for sins. 15:09 Remember, if He doesn't make 15:11 an atonement for your sin or mine, 15:12 if we're not sending them up, 15:13 if we're not confessing and forsaking them right now, 15:16 and your name comes up, 15:17 and can very well be 15:18 at the time of the judgment of the living. 15:23 There's going to be sins pronounced at that time 15:26 and it's irrevocable, it will never be changed, 15:29 and that's before He comes back. 15:34 The great Day of Atoning, you say, 15:35 I'm not sure of the atonement, 15:37 meaning this, simply of the judgment, 15:40 the judgment of all nations right now. 15:44 Nations are going through judgments. 15:47 You know some of the judgments, 15:48 we'll say right now the warnings 15:50 are falling out all over the world in storms, 15:54 it could be anything, by land, by sea, by air. 15:58 God is warning us that we better get ready. 16:01 Destruction is at hand, 16:03 the enemy is working to destroy, 16:06 and he's wanting to take you and me 16:08 when we're not close to Jesus. 16:11 You get it? 16:12 He wants to put an end to our life. 16:14 Well, maybe you know there's something going on, 16:16 you need to be careful, right? 16:19 Now we're thinking of the judgment of all nations 16:21 and every individual is passing in the sanctuary above. 16:26 Do you realize the sanctuary in heaven 16:28 Christ is working in our behalf? 16:32 Think about what's going on in heaven right now. 16:34 If we really thought about, we might change our ways. 16:37 See our lives right now, even though we're down here, 16:40 we're walking around here. 16:41 Our lives right now 16:43 are in the very presence of God. 16:46 Did you get that? 16:48 Our life right now is in the very presence of God. 16:52 He is reviewing Kenney Shelton. 16:58 That's pretty heavy duty when you think that 16:59 God of this universe is reviewing me 17:02 as though there is none other on the face of this earth. 17:04 And that's the way He does 17:05 'cause there will be no mistake. 17:08 Our lives in the very presence of God. 17:11 Revealed, what does that mean? 17:12 I mean just in a dictionary, just the dictionary, 17:15 Webster said, when it comes to this viewing, 17:18 God viewing us, it simply mean, 17:20 it's a viewing, it's a study, think about that. 17:24 It's a reexamination of us. 17:27 It's a formal inspection of our lives. 17:33 It's to review our books. 17:37 Interesting, a review of books. 17:41 An act of going over. 17:45 Think about an act of going over your name, 17:49 all of heaven is interested. 17:51 How interested are you? 17:54 How certain are we today 17:55 that there is even is a judgment? 17:57 Are we even certain there is one? 17:59 Some people say, "I don't care if there is a judgment or not. 18:01 I'm not going to be involved." 18:02 Yes, you are, you're going to be involved 18:04 whether you like it or not. 18:07 We don't have a choice in that. 18:09 We are born on this earth, right, 18:11 we'll be involved in the judgment 18:13 one or the other. 18:14 Remember the names that we're talking about today 18:17 so we don't forget are the names of every person 18:20 who has professed Jesus Christ. 18:22 We're not even talking about the wicked. 18:24 That's different, those will be lost. 18:26 That's different, separate timeframe than this. 18:29 We're talking about every one that says, "Lord, Lord, 18:32 you know, well, we accept You as Lord. 18:33 Well, we've been baptized. 18:35 Well, I gave my heart to Jesus." 18:37 Well, what can you really say about that? 18:39 Millions, billions do that. 18:40 But how many really love Him with their whole heart. 18:42 How many are being obedient to Him 18:44 and the investigation goes on. 18:46 Other words, I give my life to Christ. 18:48 Okay, well, the angel said, they gave their life to Christ, 18:50 their name written in the book, we'll see that more as we go. 18:54 I know there's a judgment because the Bible tells me 18:56 there is a judgment in Hebrews 9:27. 19:01 Hebrews 9:27. 19:04 Notice this very... 19:05 This passage is used many times. 19:07 Hebrews chapter what? 19:09 9:27. 19:11 The Bible said it is what? 19:13 "It is appointed unto men once to die, 19:16 but after this," what? 19:18 "The judgment." 19:19 It's appointed unto man once to die. 19:21 We live here long enough we're going to die. 19:23 Is that pretty simple if Jesus doesn't come? 19:26 But after that what? The judgment. 19:29 Man, that's clear as it can be. 19:31 Question, how many will appear in the judgment? 19:35 Well, some say, "I don't want to, 19:36 or is not necessary, or I didn't believe it, 19:39 the pastor didn't teach it, 19:40 the church I went to didn't teach it, 19:41 I don't know anything about it, so I'm not going to appear." 19:44 The Bible says once again in 2 Corinthians 5:10. 19:48 2 Corinthians 5:10. 19:52 The Bible says, how many? All. 19:54 "For we must all appear 19:57 before the judgment seat of Christ." 19:59 No exceptions. How awesome that is. 20:02 What a thought that is that you will have to appear 20:05 before the judgment seat of Christ. 20:07 I will too. 20:09 Everything known about you and about me. 20:12 Well, we may ask why? 20:14 Why would I want to be in the judgment? 20:17 Why am I in the judgment? 20:18 What does this all mean? 20:20 Well, the verse continues on when it says, 20:22 "That every one may receive the things done in," what? 20:27 "In his body, according to that which he hath done, 20:30 whether it be good or bad." 20:33 So we're going to have to give account of our what? 20:36 Of our actions, of our deeds, our words, the motives, 20:40 the things of our heart, things that we are thinking, 20:43 people don't know about. 20:45 We all must appear because we're going to give 20:47 an account to God. 20:49 Man, that's it. 20:50 Think about other things in your life 20:52 you don't really want revealed. 20:54 You don't want people to know. 20:56 But I'm telling you right now, heaven knows. 21:00 Billions and trillions of whatever, 21:01 their angels, they all know. 21:03 Other worlds know. 21:05 There's no end to it. 21:07 They know what's going down here in this little theater 21:09 as it were that's going on 21:11 in your life and in my life. 21:15 Can we really figure out when we talk about 21:18 all this stuff when the judgment will start? 21:21 Well, yes, we can, again that's not going to be 21:23 something we're going to go on and on about. 21:25 But the Bible said, Acts Chapter 17. 21:29 Acts 17:30 and 31 tells us about we can know, 21:35 we can figure out 21:36 the judgment when it will start. 21:37 Why? 21:39 Because the Bible said, Acts 17:30 and 31, it says, 21:42 "God hath appointed a" what? 21:45 "A day, in which he will judge the world." 21:49 "God hath appointed a day 21:52 in which he will judge the world." 21:55 In another study we'll do some time 21:57 we'll reveal that timeframe, the Bible reveals it clearly. 22:01 So God thinks it's important, 22:03 we need to understand that it's very, very important 22:06 because your life is at stake right now. 22:09 My life is at stake. 22:11 If our books you close, our life books you close today, 22:15 what would be pronounced? 22:17 Now probation closes today for you and for me, 22:20 how do we stand before God? 22:24 I mean that's, it's an issue 22:25 that we need to really closely examine 22:27 and get serious about because you think 22:30 you're going to live forever in this world, 22:31 you are not and I'm not. 22:34 You think that God will overlook it 22:35 because you're special. 22:37 Well, you're not special. 22:38 God is no respecter of persons what the Bible said, 22:41 He loves us all the same. 22:43 He's appointed a day. 22:46 God has appointed then a certain time 22:49 the scriptures reveal us when it starts. 22:52 So why? 22:53 So that we're not without warning. 22:55 Over and over God warns us that the judgment is beginning. 22:59 This is what takes place in the judgment. 23:01 This is what's going to be brought up in the judgment. 23:04 We're going to have to give account of ourselves. 23:06 Again we may say, we don't want to give an account, 23:08 we're going to have to give an account. 23:10 You might get out of it in this life, you might say, 23:12 I'm not going to answer. 23:14 You might say, I'm going to take the Fifth. 23:16 Somebody with me? 23:18 You might say, "I'm going to take the Fifth. 23:19 I don't have to, bear you will have to give an answer. 23:23 Your life is there. Your life is recorded. 23:26 Again simple, may let's just do a reason for the judgment. 23:30 I need to know a reason for the judgment. 23:33 In very simple he told. 23:34 Ecclesiastics 12:14. 23:37 Ecclesiastes 12:14 makes it so clear. 23:42 Notice the purpose of the judgment is to say why? 23:45 Because we have professed. 23:47 When the person says, "I'm a professed Christian," 23:49 that doesn't mean that you are, is that right? 23:51 That means I just make a profession. 23:54 You ask some people, "Well, I don't believe there's a God, 23:56 but I believe there is like a higher power. 23:57 I think that's going to be enough." 23:59 That's not enough. 24:01 It's got to be more than a profession 24:03 and it has to be a lifestyle, it has to be some changes made. 24:07 And notice what Ecclesiastes 12:14 says, 24:09 "For God shall bring every work into judgment, 24:14 with every secret thing, whether it be good, 24:16 or whether it be evil." 24:19 Many passages, you can read from this. 24:22 We don't have time to do that. 24:23 But God during the judgment is going to bring what? 24:26 Every work, everything we've ever said done, 24:30 thought, is going to be brought up 24:32 in the judgment to see whether we're worthy 24:35 to keep our name in the Lamb's Book of Life. 24:38 Remember we said while ago, 24:39 well, I give my life to Jesus and the angels record that. 24:42 We profess to be a what? 24:44 A Christian, but profession doesn't mean anything. 24:47 It's how is your life? 24:51 How is your life? 24:52 Is in accordance with Scripture? 24:54 Are we doing what the Bible asked us to do 24:56 to show that we are a Christian? 24:58 That's very interesting to me. 25:01 So, you know, what comes out of this judgment then? 25:04 Everything is going to be brought in 25:06 what's going to come out of the judgment. 25:08 Simply we just mentioned. 25:09 It's going to determine out of this judgment 25:13 whether we're going to be saved 25:14 or whether we're going to be lost. 25:16 Think about it 25:17 whether we're going to be saved or lost. 25:20 In fact the wonderful Book of Ecclesiastes, 25:22 there is a lot of wisdom in that book. 25:25 Ecclesiastes 3:17 said. 25:28 Here's what we know for sure. 25:31 It says that "God will judge" what? 25:33 "Shall judge the righteous and the wicked." 25:38 Out of these things, right, the secret things, 25:41 whether we think is good, 25:42 or whether they're going to be bad 25:43 whatever it is, everything about us 25:46 God is going to judge. 25:48 And He judges the righteous and He judges the wicked. 25:52 You know what an awesome thought. 25:54 See, an awesome thought to me is every day, 25:58 one day passing after the other. 26:00 They seem to go rather quickly, don't they? 26:02 Anybody with me? 26:05 The day just seemed to go by so quick. 26:08 You know, Monday and Tuesday and all sudden a Sabbath again. 26:10 And it's like where did the week go? 26:13 But every day, every day is passing. 26:15 That day is gone. 26:16 You can never get it back, you can't change what you said, 26:18 what you did, what you've done. 26:20 Some things you can certainly make restitution, 26:22 things you can ask forgiveness for, 26:23 but there are some things 26:24 that you can never approach again. 26:26 Situations change, somebody has died, 26:28 something happened, you know. 26:30 So every day we look. 26:32 You know, one day passing after the other, 26:34 every word spoken, 26:37 every deed that's done. 26:40 All the secret motives, 26:43 angels are recording 26:46 both the good and the evil. 26:50 Think about recording just right there, 26:52 just right there with you recording. 26:55 It's deciding our destiny. 26:58 You may, "Well, I decide my destiny." 27:00 Yes, you really are by the things that you do 27:03 in this life, things that I do. 27:05 I know we have to accept Jesus Christ. 27:07 But we realize the good things or the what? 27:11 Bad things what the Bible says. 27:14 What if...? 27:16 What if today that God would pull back the curtain? 27:19 What if He would? 27:21 In your life right now that a curtain would just pull back 27:23 and you could see what was really going on. 27:27 We could see those angels, 27:29 they're just recording everything. 27:33 Everything that's being recorded 27:35 we have to meet in the judgment. 27:42 I just wonder how many things 27:46 would be left undone 27:50 or were unspoken. 27:53 How many tempered tantrums would be? 27:57 Maybe we decide we don't want to go that route. 28:03 Think about it, every gesture, 28:06 even in gestures there's a reason 28:08 why you make certain gestures. 28:11 It tells of us what's may be going on the mind 28:13 that may not come out in the lip, 28:14 we have to be so very careful. 28:15 But the angels are recording it. 28:17 They make no mistakes. 28:19 Let's look a little closer at this investigative judgment. 28:24 I believe this, we as a people must understand this. 28:29 We must understand it. 28:33 Could there even be a more important subject 28:36 that we could be looking at? 28:38 What's more important in your salvation? 28:41 What's more important in your relationship with God? 28:44 What's more important than heaven? 28:45 Are you seeing my point? 28:51 Because this affects all of us, 28:55 every one of us, life and death. 28:57 Daniel the Prophet records this judgment. 29:00 What a saint? 29:01 Turn with me to Daniel Chapter 7. 29:03 We'll read it quickly. Daniel Chapter 7. 29:04 Time is going on quickly. 29:06 Most of us are familiar, I'm sure with this. 29:08 But notice when you think about a judgment, 29:10 you think about a courtroom setting. 29:12 If you read these verses, 29:14 you will see a courtroom setting, 29:16 a court coming to order. 29:18 If you've ever been to court, 29:20 you'll understand what I'm talking about. 29:23 Daniel 7:9 and 10. 29:29 Daniel said, 29:30 "I beheld till the thrones were cast down," 29:32 notice this, 29:34 "and the Ancient of days did sit, 29:37 whose garment was white as snow, 29:39 hair of his head like the pure wool: 29:43 his throne was like a fiery flame, 29:46 and his wheels as a burning fire." 29:49 Verse 10, "A fiery stream issued and came forth 29:53 from before him:" notice this, "thousands and thousands 29:57 ministered unto him, ten thousand times, 30:00 ten thousand stood before him:" notice, the what? 30:04 "The judgment was set, and the books were opened." 30:10 It's just not a courtroom setting. 30:13 The king, the judge, God comes in. 30:17 Notice this and notice this, you say, 30:19 "Well, it's ten thousands and thousands times 30:21 ten thousands of angels, why? 30:22 Well, these angels are witnesses. 30:26 In the court system you see you have like the lawyers, 30:29 you have the judge, praise God, right, 30:31 accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior. 30:33 He's going to be your lawyer, He's going to be your mediator, 30:36 and He's going to stand in your behalf, 30:37 He's going to plead your case. 30:39 If you don't have Him, you don't have a case. 30:42 I don't have a case without Christ. 30:44 There's no way we can have a case without Christ. 30:47 We can't win that case. 30:50 But then we have all these, you know, 30:51 in a jury you have a jury what 12 jurors 30:53 or whatever it is here. 30:54 But here's, it's thousands, 30:56 ten thousand time thousands of thousands 30:57 because of the people. 31:01 Angels have been writing in the book 31:03 to make sure it's right. 31:06 Now before we go on with that, keep that thought in mind, 31:10 they all stood before God 31:14 judgment was set. 31:18 In Manuscript 17, 1906, this was written. 31:22 Listen carefully. 31:26 "There is an unerring register, 31:30 kept of all sins committed. 31:33 The figures of guilt rapidly accumulate 31:36 yet the judgment of God is tempered with mercy." 31:40 See we think sometime we get into something, we just go, 31:42 and go, and go, and go, and is never, or is not, 31:45 nothing is going to happen to us. 31:46 God let you go, and go, and go, and go, 31:49 at the same time He's pleading and pleading for you 31:51 to come out of that thing before the judgment fall, 31:53 before that time period ends. 31:55 He only gives you a certain period of time 31:58 just like He did all the nations of the world. 32:00 Babylon, Medo-Persia, Greece, Rome, pagan Rome, papal Rome, 32:04 He had a certain period of time 32:05 because He said after he will rise what? 32:07 Will rise another. 32:09 Nations are the same way, 32:10 United States of America is the same way. 32:12 He's given us only a specific time, 32:15 a certain amount of time to get it right Sister Mary, 32:18 Brother Kenny, certain amount of time to get it right. 32:22 And once you reach that time, 32:23 there's no turning back, it's too late. 32:25 So why are we dillydallying around with it. 32:28 Notice what it says here, 32:29 "The figures of guilt rapidly accumulate, 32:32 yet the judgments of God are tempered with mercy. 32:37 Until the figures have been reached, 32:40 their appointed limit. 32:42 God continues through his appointed agencies 32:45 to present the gospel message." 32:47 Did you notice that? 32:48 Even though we're living opposite 32:50 of what we should be living, 32:51 God still sending you a message after message. 32:53 He's letting you hear the gospel. 32:55 He's trying to woo you back into relationship 32:57 to put Him first in your life. 32:59 That's the way heaven can be our home. 33:02 But notice, "Until this time has come, 33:06 God bears long with divine patience 33:09 and with the perversity of the wicked." 33:14 But, He notices, "But He will at last permit 33:18 the destructive agencies of Satan 33:21 to bear sway to destroy." 33:24 After a way, a while, after so many long, 33:27 so many years destruction of Jerusalem AD 70, 33:30 God gave a lot of years, you remember in prophecy. 33:32 Get it right, Jerusalem. Get it right. 33:34 If you don't want not one stone left upon another. 33:37 They didn't get it right and when that day came 33:39 there wasn't a stone left upon the other, 33:41 millions perished. 33:44 God's saying the same thing today. 33:47 I gave you so much time, every opportunity, 33:49 but there will come a time when the heart is hardened, 33:52 and we no longer make the right decision anymore. 33:54 There be no way you'll ever turn back, 33:56 the one rose from the dead, you wouldn't believe it anyway. 33:58 So God says, I just have to let you go. 34:02 He doesn't want to, but I have to let you go. 34:03 And when He says that, 34:05 the enemy comes in to destroy you, 34:07 for all you've built up, 34:08 all that you think you might be, 34:10 the rug is pulled. 34:11 The enemy is going to take you down 34:12 as quickly as he can. 34:15 Daniel 7:13 and 14. 34:17 Read, oh, our time is going by, 13 to 14. 34:20 Notice what Daniel said. 34:22 Man, I'm telling you this really gets down to it. 34:24 Daniel 7:13. 34:27 He said, "I saw in the night vision," 34:29 what was Daniel having? 34:30 He was having a vision, "Behold," he said, 34:32 "one like the Son of man came into the clouds of heaven, 34:36 and came to the Ancient of days." 34:38 Here comes Jesus, right? 34:40 In the judgment, here comes Jesus 34:42 and He comes up to the Father. 34:45 Isn't that wonderful He's coming up to the Father 34:47 because we're in the judgment and He knows, Kenny needs help. 34:51 He knows I am a lost cause, there's nothing I can do, 34:53 I have sinned, I've come short of the glory of God, 34:55 I'm under the death sentence, and I need Jesus. 35:00 And Jesus shows up in the judgment to represent 35:03 those who will lead Him represent Him. 35:05 Think about it. 35:08 "Clouds of heaven came to the Ancient of days, 35:12 and they brought him near before him." 35:14 Oh boy, 14. 35:17 "And there was given him dominion, and glory, 35:20 and a kingdom, and all the people, nations, 35:22 language and so on to serve him." 35:24 Think about this right here just with me. 35:25 This is important. 35:27 The coming of Christ here that we're just now talking 35:31 about the coming of Christ here in this verse 35:34 is not the second coming of Christ to the earth. 35:38 Did you get that? 35:39 The coming of Christ here to the Father 35:41 is not the second coming of Jesus Christ. 35:44 We're still in the investigative phase, 35:46 did you see that? 35:48 Notice, Jesus came to the Ancient of days. 35:51 Who is the Ancient of days? 35:52 The Ancient of days which is God the Father, 35:54 isn't that right? 35:55 How do we know that God the Father is always... 35:57 Let me read just one passage there in Psalms. 35:59 Turn with me quickly to the Book of Psalms 90. 36:03 Psalms 90:2. 36:06 Psalms 90:2. 36:08 Notice what says here, "The Ancient of days," 36:11 the Bible says it like this, 36:13 "Before the mountains were brought forth, 36:15 or ever thou hadst form the earth and the world, 36:19 even from everlasting to everlasting thou art God." 36:25 Jesus was brought before the Ancient of days. 36:27 Did you notice that, 36:28 before the mountains were brought, 36:30 before anything was said, God were, 36:31 He's been from everlasting to everlasting. 36:33 There's no beginning and there is no end. 36:37 Christ coming to the Father 36:40 as Daniel 7:14 tells us. 36:43 And notice this, 36:44 there was given to Him dominion. 36:46 Ah, you read in verse 14, Daniel 7:14. 36:49 What was given to Jesus? 36:51 Dominion, good, and glory, right, 36:54 and a kingdom which will be giving Him 36:56 at the close of His work as our mediator. 37:01 So He had a work to do. 37:03 So at the close then 37:05 of the 2,300 days longest prophecy, 37:08 2,300 years of Daniel 8:14. 37:11 Notice this, and that ended in what? 37:14 1844. 37:16 1844, this longest 2,300 days. 37:19 Daniel 8:14. 37:21 And then again it identifies Christ 37:23 when He was baptized, 37:25 it identifies right His death on Calvary, 37:27 it identifies that gospel going to the Gentiles through Paul, 37:29 we understand that message 1810 years left, 37:33 we look 'cause He's crucified in 34 AD. 37:35 1810 years is 1844. 37:39 That hour of His judgment has come. 37:43 A warning that was given. 37:44 Man, if we just look back and we see the warnings 37:46 that God gave about the judgment hour, 37:48 it would knock our socks off. 37:50 If we just study 37:52 about the great Lisbon earthquake, 37:54 was it 1755, it was to wake what? 37:57 1755 was close, right? 37:59 1844. 38:00 God begin to warm the world, "Wake them up, I'm coming." 38:06 You look at the falling of the stars 38:08 and so on and so forth. 38:11 That's what 1833 falling of star. 38:13 That was close to 1844, 10, 11 years 38:16 before the judgment hour began. 38:18 Here comes this hour, 38:20 to get the attention of the world 38:21 that we're now entering in the judgment hour, 38:23 we need to get our lives right. 38:25 Study the earthly sanctuary where you can see 38:27 exactly where all this is leading, 38:29 where all this comes from, 38:30 how you can put it together, can make no mistake about it. 38:34 1844. What is it? 38:35 Jesus when He first went back to heaven, where did He go? 38:38 He went into the what? 38:39 There's two apartments, holy and most holy. 38:41 He went where? He went into the holy place. 38:45 For a lot of years, He stayed in the holy place. 38:47 1844 is when He stepped out of the holy 38:51 into the most holy place. 38:53 And the most holy place 38:54 there was one article of furniture What is it? 38:56 The Ark of the Covenant. 38:57 What's in the Ark of the Covenant? 38:59 The Ten Commandment law is in the Ark of Covenant. 39:01 Jesus standing over the Ark, 39:03 over the Ark of the Ten Commandments is a mercy seat, 39:06 and two angels that are over because we need mercy, 39:09 because we've broken the law of God. 39:12 It says, throw the law of God out some people say, 39:14 "We don't worry about the law of God anymore." 39:16 Come on somebody, we need to wake up. 39:18 This is what it's all about 'cause we've broken the law. 39:21 Only one place, 39:23 only one definition of what sin is. 39:24 1 John 3:4, isn't it? What is it? 39:26 Sin is the transgression of God's law. 39:30 Think about it. 39:31 Sin is the transgression of God. 39:33 This is what this whole mess is all about. 39:34 This is why there is a judgment because some what? 39:37 Have broken the law. We've all broken it. 39:39 Some have confessed, and repented, and forsaken, 39:42 they'll stand righteous before God. 39:44 Others are trying to cover, is not going to work. 39:48 So remember only those who confess and repent of sins 39:53 through the blood are now entitled. 39:56 Notice this, Christ is looking for those 39:59 who are entitled to heaven. 40:02 The only people that's going to be 40:04 considered for heaven are those who have repented of their sin 40:07 and turn from bad. 40:10 And again only ones consider is those 40:12 who profess to be a Christian. Notice that. 40:15 The judgment of the wicked, I said, 40:16 "Pour takes place at a whole different time." 40:19 How do you know the judgment begins with those 40:21 who profess to be a Christian? 40:22 How do we know it begins with the professed Christians? 40:25 Because the Bible says that. 40:27 1 Peter 4:17. 40:29 1 Peter 4:17. 40:32 The Bible is very, very clear about that. 40:35 It talks about a judgment. 40:37 The Old Testament talks about a judgment. 40:39 The New Testament talks about a judgment. 40:40 The Bible writers talk about a judgment. 40:44 1 Peter 4:17 says, "Judgment must begin," where? 40:47 "At the house of God." 40:49 What does that mean? 40:50 It begins with those who profess to be a Christian, 40:53 that's where judgment begins. 40:54 Notice. 40:55 And it says now, listen this, "If it first began at us, 40:58 what shall be the end of them that obey not the gospel." 41:02 Wow. 41:05 What's going to happen to those who obey not the gospel? 41:07 Oh, it's not good news at all, is it? 41:10 Maybe we can consider this one. 41:12 Some may want to throw this out, 41:13 that's going to be up to you. 41:14 I'm not going to throw it out because I think 41:16 this begins to be it in depth. 41:17 I believe this begins to get into the real meat of the word 41:21 when we consider Ezekiel 9:6. 41:25 You member you have the angel there, 41:27 ink cone, you know, the rider, he's going to 41:29 and he's marking the ones who will be saved, 41:32 the righteous covered by the blood. 41:36 Notice what Ezekiel 9:6. 41:38 It says here because all 41:39 that was going on as it were in the church, 41:42 the way people turn their back on God 41:44 professing to be one thing doing another. 41:48 So the time was going to come, notice this. 41:50 And this has direct application 41:52 to the destruction of Jerusalem first of all. 41:55 But it has a direct application to us who are living 41:58 just before Jesus comes. 42:00 This is what makes it very, very important to me. 42:02 Maybe we'll discuss a little more about that. 42:04 Here's what it says 42:05 as the angel or the rider with the ink cone 42:08 on his sides stamping, putting a seal on the people, 42:10 "Slay utterly old and young," 42:13 Ezekiel 9:6, 42:14 "both maids, and little children, 42:17 and women: but come not near any man 42:20 upon whom is the mark, and begin," where? 42:25 Here it is again. 42:26 "And begin at my sanctuary." 42:29 Begin with those who profess Me, 42:31 those who are living for Me." 42:33 Notice this, "Then they began 42:34 at the ancient men which were before the house." 42:40 Do you realize how many, again, millions and billions, 42:44 they already have the destinies, 42:45 it's already there. 42:47 It's just not brought forth yet because Jesus hasn't come. 42:52 Their sins has been pronounced. 42:55 Every day names are coming up. 42:58 Begin, it says, "At my sanctuary." 43:01 I said before in the primary application, 43:04 this vision marks the close of probation for Jerusalem. 43:10 But in the last days, we're talking about a judgment here, 43:13 begins at the house of what? 43:16 Of God. 43:18 May I get a little more personal with it. 43:20 I believe it begins with those who have had great light, 43:25 those who have been given great light here 43:27 in these last days, 43:28 the preachers, and the teachers, 43:29 and all these educators, and people who think 43:31 they maybe know so much about it. 43:34 They have been guardians of spiritual interest 43:37 of the people, they have failed miserably. 43:40 God said, I sent people in positions 43:42 'cause they are to guard 43:44 the spiritual interest of My church, 43:46 to get up here, and get people laughing, 43:48 and carrying on every day, 43:49 and fooling around with all kind of stuff 43:51 that doesn't amount to the end of time. 43:53 I can't get into that. 43:54 I'm just telling you why? 43:56 Because of this right now. 43:57 God said, "The time will come when probation close. 43:59 Go out, that it's destroying angels, 44:01 and destroy men, women, children, maidens. 44:05 Why? Because they'll never accept Him. 44:07 Because He's fair. 44:08 Because He said, "You will be judged by good and evil. 44:11 The good things you've done..." 44:13 Put them out in a book, every thought, every intent, 44:15 every motive of the heart. 44:17 Can't make a mistake right here. 44:18 If you accept Me, then I can help you. 44:20 You confess it. 44:21 During this time here, 44:22 sins that are not confessed and forsaken, 44:24 you see, they stay with you. 44:27 And in the judgment they come back to bite you, 44:30 and heaven will never be your home. 44:32 That's why it's so simple now 44:33 to ask God to forgive us and really mean it. 44:36 Forsaking of sin. Why? 44:38 So that God can blot out here. Our time is running quickly. 44:41 Our sins need to be blotted out. 44:44 This is what I always think about that. 44:46 We have over the years, confess many, many sins. 44:50 I have. 44:51 And I believe that they've been covered 44:53 by the blood of the Lamb. 44:55 I have to have faith that His blood is powerful enough 44:58 to cleanse me from all unrighteousness. 45:01 But they're just covered now, Sister Mary, Brother Mark, 45:04 they're just covered. 45:06 But there comes a time of refreshing 45:08 in this judgment where they're blotted out. 45:10 There's a difference in blotting out of sins 45:12 and being covered by the blood. 45:14 Being covered by blood means 45:15 you can be saved in God's Kingdom, yes. 45:17 But at time when God blots them out 45:19 and He says, He remembers them no more. 45:22 We are in that time when your name comes up, 45:25 either the blood is covering 45:26 and you're living a righteous life, what? 45:28 According to the law of God, and the grace of God and what? 45:33 If you're living that way right there, 45:35 sins is past, heaven's going to be your home. 45:37 But if not, 45:39 you don't have the mark of God, 45:41 you have the mark of the enemy. 45:42 And He says, "Depart from Me, you workers of iniquity. 45:45 I don't know you." 45:49 But those who have 45:50 the spiritual interest of the church 45:53 needs to keep it alive, and well, 45:54 and quit worrying about, 45:55 you know, Halloween, and all these holidays, 45:58 and all this junk that's going on 46:00 in the world today. 46:01 You know, all the stuff that's going, 46:02 all the murders, killing, abortions, 46:04 things that are happening along in the church 46:05 and out of the church, 46:08 we need to get it right. 46:11 We've got to get it right. 46:14 If you're a guardian of this truth 46:16 and everybody learns this truth, 46:17 you are a guardian. 46:22 You are a guardian. 46:23 That means you guard it 46:25 because you know that it's right, 46:27 you're a protector of it. 46:32 But many today, who supposed to be guardians, 46:35 they fail miserably, they betrayed God, 46:38 they betrayed us as a people. 46:40 They're unfaithful shepherds, and they're going to perish, 46:44 no doubt about it. 46:45 See, heaven makes a decision 46:48 for or against every individual. 46:50 I think we're sure of that, we know that. 46:52 Daniel 7:10. 46:55 He said, remember the judgment was set 46:56 and the books were what? 46:58 Quickly. 46:59 We have only less than 10 minutes. 47:01 The books were open. 47:02 Notice the books. 47:03 John the Revelator says this, Revelation 20:12. 47:05 I'll move quickly. 47:07 You better move with me, write it down, read it later. 47:09 "And I saw the dead, small, great, stand before God, 47:12 and the books were opened." 47:16 reading on it says, 47:17 "And another book was opened, which is called the," what? 47:20 "The Book of Life. 47:22 The dead were judged out of those things 47:24 which were written in the books, 47:26 according to their works." 47:27 Does that make sense? 47:30 Let's add Revelation 20:15 right now. 47:33 Why? Because it says, "Whosoever was not..." 47:36 Revelation what? 47:37 20:15. 47:39 "And whosoever was not found written in the book of," what? 47:42 "Book of life was cast into the lake of fire." 47:45 If your name is not written in the Lamb's Book of Life, 47:48 will be cast into the lake of fire, notice that. 47:51 What does the Book of Life contain? 47:53 What is it all about? 47:55 It simply contains any person's name 47:57 who ever accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior. 48:00 But again there has to be proof. 48:02 The proof is in the pudding, the proof is in your life, 48:05 the proof as it change, is truth changing you. 48:08 Are you still same old, same old that you used to be 48:11 or has it really changed you, are you a different person. 48:14 Your neighbors look at, and your family looks and says, 48:15 oh, my lambs of love, I don't even recognize. 48:18 I mean they've changed so much. 48:20 That's what the word does inside. 48:22 Luke 10:20 says, 48:24 "Rejoice, rejoice because your names are written," what? 48:27 "Are written in heaven." 48:29 You know your name is written by faith in heaven, 48:31 we need to rejoice. 48:32 Daniel 12:1, the Bible tells us, 48:34 "That God's people will be delivered." 48:37 Notice, who's going to be delivered? 48:39 He's talking about time of trouble 48:40 that the world has never seen before. 48:42 He said, "God's people will be delivered." 48:44 But notice who's going to be delivered? 48:46 Daniel 12:1. 48:47 "Everyone that shall be found written in the book." 48:51 Yet to be written in the book. 48:52 Paul says in Philippians 4:3, 48:55 tells that the faithful, notice it, 48:56 the faithful ones whose names are in the Book of Life. 49:00 Paul is talking about it, John's talking about it here. 49:02 Revelation comes up. 49:04 Again Revelation 21:27 says, 49:06 "Only those who enter the City of God 49:08 are those who are written in the Lamb's Book of Life." 49:12 Only ones what? 49:14 Go to heaven. 49:15 The ones written in the Lamb's Book of Life. 49:17 Remember there is a Book of Remembrance. 49:19 I'll go as quickly as I can, there's a Book of Remembrance, 49:22 it's recorded the good deeds, Malachi 3:16. 49:26 "Then that feared the Lord and thought upon His name." 49:29 Do you fear God, you have reverence and respect for Him? 49:33 Do you think about it? 49:34 And you think upon His name? 49:35 You'd love to come to church. 49:37 You love to study the Word of God. 49:38 Nehemiah 13:14 says this. 49:40 And notice this when you say, 49:42 "Well, I've got a lot of good works. 49:43 Look at all my good works." 49:45 If we don't match up to what Christ had said, 49:47 all those good works are even erased. 49:50 Look what Nehemiah 13:14 says, he's crying out, he said, 49:53 "Wipe not out my good deeds 49:56 that I have done for the house of God." 49:59 Don't wipe them out. 50:02 There's also a record kept of sins of men. 50:04 Isaiah 65:6 and 7 says, 50:08 "Behold, it is written before me." 50:10 God is talking, He said, 50:11 "Behold, it's written before Me, 50:13 'Your iniquities, 50:15 and the iniquities of Your fathers together, 50:17 saith the Lord.'" 50:18 But notice how he's talking about, 50:20 it is written. 50:21 It's written in a book. 50:22 Your iniquities, everything is there. 50:24 There is proof. 50:25 There is a court going on. 50:27 There is a judgment going on. 50:28 And what is the standard? 50:30 The standard is going to be used 50:31 in testing our characters and our lives in the judgment 50:35 is the law of God. 50:38 Did you get it? 50:40 The standard that will be used in testing 50:44 you, me, every one of us, it will be the law of God. 50:48 Why? 50:50 It's simple, Apostle James says in James 2:12. 50:54 James 2:12. 50:55 Notice what apostle says, "So speak ye, and so do, 50:59 as they that shall be judged by the," what? 51:02 "By the law of liberty." 51:04 The Ten Commandment law. 51:05 Are we going to be what? 51:07 You speak according to law of God. 51:08 You do according to the law of God. 51:10 You're going to be judged by the law of God. 51:13 This is so clear, we can see it. 51:14 And then Ecclesiastes comes up. 51:16 Ecclesiastes 12:13 and 14. 51:20 Notice what it says here, 51:21 "Fear God, and keep His commandments:" 51:24 You know this what? 51:25 "For this is the whole duty of man. 51:29 For God shall bring every work into judgment." 51:31 What's the whole duty of man? 51:32 Somebody help me out. 51:34 What's the whole duty of God? 51:35 Fear God and keep His command. 51:37 This is the whole duty. 51:39 Don't, well, we can break them in God's grace. 51:40 Praise God for His grace. 51:42 I'm sure He doesn't cover sin, does it? 51:45 The judgment will produce whether you're worthy, 51:50 righteous or not, and whether you're going 51:53 to rise in that first resurrection. 51:57 We had time, would read John 5:29. 52:00 It's important we come up in that first resurrection, 52:02 if we have died in Jesus Christ 52:03 and all the millions and billions. 52:05 I want to come up in the first resurrection. 52:08 You come up in the second resurrection, 52:09 you're doomed to hell. 52:11 Did you get it? 52:12 There's no other chance, there's no other way. 52:14 There's nothing else because you have chosen it. 52:17 God doesn't want that, 52:19 He wants us all to be saved in the kingdom. 52:23 Righteous, dead is going to be raised after the judgment. 52:27 Let's just prove right quick. 52:29 Something to think about. 52:30 Righteous, dead will be raised, 52:32 but not be raised until after the judgment, 52:35 for the judgment proves they are worthy 52:38 of the resurrection of life. 52:40 Did you get it? Didn't. 52:42 The righteous don't come up until after 52:44 the investigate faith and the judgment, 52:46 showing that they will be not be presence, 52:50 present face to face with God. 52:53 It's going to be that which is written in what? 52:55 The records. 52:56 The examination of the records of our life. 52:59 This is very important. It has to be decided. 53:02 You're going to have to decide. 53:05 If our sins have not been repented and forgiven, 53:09 they will remain on the books. 53:12 And their names will be blotted out 53:15 if we haven't asked God to forgive us. 53:19 Ezekiel 18:24 says, 53:21 "The righteous turneth away from his righteousness, 53:23 committeth iniquity. 53:25 All his righteousness that he hath done 53:28 shall not be mentioned." 53:29 You got it. 53:31 Not mentioned. 53:33 Lord said to Moses in Exodus 32:33 53:36 "Whosoever has sinned against me, 53:38 him will I blot out of my book." 53:42 We need to put on Christ. 53:44 We need to put on His character. 53:48 We need to claim. 53:49 We need to claim His righteousness. 53:52 We need to be found in harmony with the law of God. 53:57 And if we do, our sins will be blotted out. 54:00 God said, "I, even I, am he blotteth out 54:03 by transgressions," Isaiah 43:25. 54:08 Blotting out sins is very, very important. 54:11 Being right with God, realizing we're 54:12 in the judgment hour. 54:14 I want you to pray with me as we close right now. 54:16 Time is running out. 54:17 But there'd be somebody who make a decision for Christ 54:19 right now to realize, this is so, so important, 54:21 the time is so right, right now 54:25 to get ready for Jesus to come. 54:27 Make sure our sins are sent right by faith into heaven, 54:30 so they can be forgiven. Let's pray. 54:32 Merciful Father in heaven, we thank You for Your Word. 54:34 We thank You that's so clear, we ask now forgiveness of sin, 54:38 anything in our hard life that needs not be there. 54:40 Give us victory we pray, total victory 54:42 that we may be like thee, 54:43 we may be ready when our name comes up 54:45 that You can say, well done 54:46 thou good and faithful servant, enter into the city. 54:48 And I thank You for Your blood in Jesus' name, amen. 54:53 Hello and welcome back, friends. 54:55 As you can tell from this message 54:57 with Pastor Kenny Shelton that this is a solemn message. 55:01 Anyone, all of the billions of people that have ever 55:04 been born on this planet, 55:06 we're all involved in this investigative judgment. 55:09 You may still be wondering why? 55:11 Why is there an investigative judgment? 55:14 Why are we involved in this great controversy? 55:17 We have to find out. 55:19 Let's see what the Bible has to say 55:21 about this great controversy and where it all began. 55:23 We're going to look in the Book of Revelation 12: 7 55:29 and it reads, 55:30 "And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels 55:34 fought against the dragon, and the dragon fought 55:37 and his angels, and prevailed not, 55:40 neither was their place found anymore in heaven. 55:42 And the great dragon 55:45 was cast out, the old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, 55:47 which deceiveth the whole world." 55:50 You see, now he that he's here, he's deceiving all of us, 55:54 so many people, even Christians believe that 55:57 we can have the world, do the things of the world, 56:00 and still be found righteous in the judgment. 56:03 Let's read on. 56:05 "He was cast out into the earth, 56:07 and his angels were cast out with him. 56:09 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven," now listen, 56:13 this is good news, 56:14 "Now is come salvation, and strength, 56:17 and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ, 56:21 for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, 56:24 which accused them before God day and night." 56:28 You see, brothers and sisters, he is still at work. 56:31 He realizes even better than we do that his time is short. 56:36 He's still accusing us. 56:38 He's still claiming that we are his and not Christ. 56:41 All you have to do is repent and earnestly tell God 56:46 that you are sorry. 56:48 God is faithful. 56:50 He is just to forgive you to forgive all of your sins. 56:54 And in those heavenly records where that was one sin recorded 56:58 next to your name that become as white as snow. 57:02 That will be covered by the blood of the lamb. 57:05 You know, I hope that this is your prayer. 57:06 I hope that this is your desire. 57:09 We're in this great controversy whether we like it or not, 57:13 won't you just take a moment, 57:16 and get this copy, get this message, 57:18 make it your very own to read time and time again. 57:21 All you need to do is contact us here 57:23 at Behold the Lamb ministries, we're in the United States. 57:26 You can call us at (618) 942-5044 Central Time. 57:32 Or write to Behold the Lamb Ministries, 57:34 PO Box 2030, Herrin, Illinois 62948. 57:39 You may email me 57:41 at BeholdTheLambMinistries @yahoo.com., 57:44 or visit us on our website at BeholdtheLambMinistries.com. 57:49 Friends, we look forward to hearing from you. 57:51 We look forward if you have any questions about this, 57:54 we'll do our very best to try to answer 57:56 those questions for you. 57:57 May our precious Lord continue to richly bless you and yours. |
