00:41 I'm Chris Shelton, your host. 00:42 I want to thank you so much for joining us. 00:45 Today's message is part two 00:47 of "At Midnight There Was A Cry." 00:49 Matthew 25 tells us that the kingdom of heaven 00:52 is likened unto ten virgins 00:54 of which five are wise and five are foolish. 00:57 When the bridegroom arrived, only five wise virgins, 01:01 who had taken the necessary steps 01:03 to fill their lamps with oil 01:05 were allowed into the marriage with the bridegroom 01:08 and the door was shut behind them. 01:11 After the foolish virgins returned from buying their oil 01:15 at the last minute, they went and they knocked. 01:18 And they asked if they could be allowed 01:20 into the marriage, but it was too late. 01:23 Their probation had ended, 01:24 the bridegroom said that he did not even know them. 01:28 Consequently, Matthew 25 01:30 ends with these solemn words of warning, 01:33 it's for all of us in verse 13. 01:35 It reads, 01:37 "Watch therefore for ye know neither the day nor the hour, 01:41 wherein the Son of man cometh." 01:44 And may I also add, 01:46 we do not know the day nor the hour 01:48 that our probationary time may end in this world, 01:53 and our door of salvation will close either for us 01:57 in a saving relationship with our Lord and Savior 02:00 or we may be shut out of heaven forever. 02:03 Our probationary time, friends, is right now. 02:07 Christ is pleading with each of us to get ready. 02:11 Get ready. 02:12 So my question for you today, 02:14 before we join Pastor Kenny Shelton 02:16 for part two of this important series 02:18 entitled At Midnight There Was A Cry 02:21 is, is your lamp filled? 08:04 We need to be raising our voice 08:06 unction by the power of the Holy Spirit 08:08 to get the word of truth out to the lost and dying world. 08:11 So we appreciate this opportunity 08:13 to be able to come into your home, 08:14 you know, and we love those cards, 08:16 we love those letters, 08:17 and sometime we're slow getting back 08:19 and have to have help around here 08:20 to get an answer to them. 08:22 There's a lot that's going on. 08:23 But there needs to be a lot more 08:25 as far as I'm concerned here 08:26 even at Behold the Lamb Ministries 08:27 and that's why we thank you for helping us do that. 08:30 Thank you for your prayers, 08:31 spend some time every day praying. 08:33 Thank you for, you know, 08:34 each of you who are spending time 08:35 praying for Behold the Lamb, 08:37 we hear from you personally about it. 08:38 We thank you. 08:40 We also thank you for your support that you send. 08:42 We cannot get biased. 08:43 You know, the blessings of the Lord, absolutely. 08:45 He's impressing, 08:47 the Holy Spirit's impressing your heart 08:48 and your mind to send gifts 08:50 so that we can continue to get this message 08:51 to the world and He can come. 08:53 Let's pray together, 08:54 shall we before we get in the message today? 08:59 Our loving Father, in heaven, we thank You again 09:01 for the privilege of prayer. 09:02 We thank You and we call upon the name of Jesus 09:04 calling the power of the Holy Spirit. 09:06 O Lord, we need Thy Holy Spirit come near to every heart, 09:09 every mind, every life 09:10 for those who maybe as quickly as they see the program 09:13 come on want to turn it off, 09:14 I pray that Your Holy Spirit 09:15 will impress and need to wait just a few seconds. 09:17 Let Your Spirit 09:18 speak to their heart and their life, 09:20 time's running out. 09:21 Thank you Lord for hearing, thank You for answering, 09:22 thank You for opening our mind, 09:24 thank You for opening our hearts, 09:25 thank You for giving words to speak in due season. 09:28 Now prepare us Lord, 09:29 for we hear what You have to say to us, 09:31 in Jesus' name 09:32 as we thank You for every listener, 09:34 every watcher in Jesus' name, amen. 09:38 At Midnight There Was A Cry, 09:40 quickly let's go over it shall we 09:41 in case you forgotten or maybe you didn't even. 09:44 you didn't have an opportunity to see the first part. 09:46 I don't know about you but I always like to kind of, 09:48 that's why it says this is part two or part three. 09:50 I wonder what happened if I missed the other ones. 09:52 And if I can do it quickly as I can 09:54 because already short on time right now, 09:56 but At Midnight There Was A Cry, 09:57 what we covered Matthew Chapter 25, 09:59 jot them down, 10:01 verses 5 and 6 we read, I'll just go over. 10:03 While the bridegroom tarry, 10:04 you notice, they all slumbered and slept. 10:07 We learned this last time, at midnight there was a cry, 10:11 behold, the bridegroom does what? 10:14 He cometh, go you out to meet him. 10:17 That again, verse 5 and 6. 10:20 That was the cry, focus. 10:23 Last time was on preparation 10:25 and being ready for the coming of Jesus. 10:28 Remember, 10:30 preparation is to me is little different 10:32 than even being ready. 10:33 There's two things we need to be working on those 10:36 and we've discussed that last time. 10:37 Some thought that Jesus was going to come. 10:40 Why this verse, why these chapters? 10:42 People thought when Jesus was talking to them 10:44 and disciples and some of the followers. 10:46 Oh, He's going to come immediately. 10:48 Oh, He's going to be right here 10:49 and Jesus did not want to discourage and say, 10:51 oh, no, no, it's going to be way. 10:52 He just gave them the parable about this 10:55 that there was a little tarrying time 10:56 and since we're going to have to wait 10:58 for just a little bit 11:00 that we need to make sure we're preparing along the way. 11:03 There would be a little delay. 11:05 We talked a little bit about that delay and it came. 11:07 But what happened when the delay came? 11:10 God's people were not ready. 11:11 We're in a delayed period, 11:13 as far as I'm concerned right now. 11:15 There's a delay period. 11:17 And remember, it's never God's fault. 11:21 He's ready to come back. 11:22 He wants to come back, but we are not ready. 11:26 And you'll say don't be judgmental. 11:27 Bless your heart. 11:28 I'm not trying to judge you at all. 11:30 Some people are listening, I don't know you. 11:31 I'm not trying to judge. 11:33 I'm simply saying 11:34 when we are ready, this makes sense. 11:36 He will come. 11:38 Why would He want to if we were ready 11:40 not to come back and take up His children? 11:42 This is what 11:43 the whole plan of salvation is all about. 11:46 So this is the exciting news, when the church is ready, 11:49 remember, people will come. 11:51 When the church is ready, when we as a people are ready, 11:54 Jesus will come back to get us. 11:56 Midnight, He came at midnight, what midnight? 11:58 It represents a dark period in earth's history, doesn't it? 12:01 Darkest and he said that's when he said, 12:04 that when Jesus came to this earth 12:05 and He walked this earth, 12:06 it was one of the darkest period 12:08 at that point to that point in time 12:09 that there ever 12:11 was in the history of the world. 12:12 But think about 12:13 almost Jesus had the truth of Jesus 12:15 and all this beautiful message, almost all been darkened, 12:18 and no one even knew about it. 12:19 And so Jesus had to come and bring light 12:21 and life to the world. 12:23 And what happens when there's a delay, 12:25 the superficial Christians will run out of oil. 12:29 Did you get it, they'll run out of what? 12:31 They'll run out, as we say, the Holy Spirit, 12:33 they're not preparing. 12:35 And part of this preparation was certainly to stand, 12:39 you know, in the time that we're entering in now 12:41 which part is we're getting in today 12:42 is a little time of trouble 12:44 leading to the big time of trouble. 12:46 If you can't see that what's happening on the news 12:48 and everything is going on in the world today. 12:51 Cry out to God to help, 12:52 cry, go, God help me to see these things. 12:55 Remember, 12:56 power of the Holy Spirit's poured out 12:58 and we're talking about the midnight cry. 12:59 Why? 13:00 Right now it's being poured out on us 13:02 so we can stand in the great time of trouble. 13:05 We need the experience of the Holy Spirit 13:08 or we will not make it through that time. 13:11 That's why the devil comes with a false teaching 13:13 that you'll be raptured away 13:15 and we won't go through that time of trouble. 13:17 Tell me one time where God took people out of, 13:19 you know, when they went 13:20 through a time of test and trial. 13:22 How about the children of Israel? 13:23 We'll talk about that and let see. 13:25 Did he take them out of the edge of whisk 13:26 and wouldn't, no, oh, mountains on the side, 13:29 you know, deep water in front of them 13:31 and army behind them? 13:33 No, they had to go through it, 13:34 they had to exercise faith and step in to the water 13:36 and then things happen. 13:39 That we find out that this group 13:41 that was not prepared 13:42 had no, they had no reserve, reserve oil. 13:46 Now again, we're talking 13:47 about perfection of character here. 13:49 This is what it's all about, 13:50 when the Holy Spirit comes upon us, 13:52 then there's a perfection of character. 13:53 The character is changed to be that like Jesus, 13:56 because Jesus said He that in what? 13:58 Endureth until the end, the same shall be saved. 14:01 Read that in Matthew Chapter 24. 14:04 And read it again in Matthew Chapter 10. 14:06 He that endureth to the end, and shall be saved. 14:09 And certainly in the Book of Revelation, 14:11 probation is soon closing, we understand that. 14:14 And remember, once that character, 14:16 once their characters are fixed, 14:18 the door of probation is going to close 14:19 and Jesus is going to come. 14:22 If the door closes, 14:23 your character is not what it needs to be, 14:25 your mind's not. 14:26 It's forever fixed. 14:27 It's that's there's not going to be 14:29 another chance. 14:30 At midnight, there certainly was a cry, 14:33 go out to meet him, 14:35 much others that we covered on part one, 14:37 we will not do that. 14:38 But I wonder today, 14:40 how important is it that we warn others? 14:42 In other words, if we believe this is truth, 14:44 if we believe we're in a tarrying time, 14:46 if we believe that God wants to pour 14:48 His Spirit out, 14:50 He's given message after message. 14:52 He's showing things in this world 14:54 that we've never seen in my lifetime. 14:57 That tells me that He's coming, things are happening. 15:01 We can follow this steady stream of events 15:03 that are going in prophecy 15:05 that can lead us to know 15:06 that we need to be wide awake right now, 15:08 not nodding off and not in a sleepy state. 15:12 You know, at the close, 15:15 I want to start more again part number two, 15:17 At Midnight There Was A Cry, 15:18 and I want to think about this. 15:20 At the close of the great papal persecution, 15:24 Jesus said something. 15:26 This will help us to understand, 15:27 at the close of the papal persecution. 15:30 Now, what we need to do is go back and say, 15:32 "Well, I don't understand when they close." 15:33 We realized, 15:34 and they're getting off the subject. 15:36 But when we talk about the time 15:38 when you hear Adventists talk about the time of the end, 15:41 we refer to and there's a lot to go 15:43 but you can go back way to 1798, 15:47 at 1798 began the time of the end. 15:49 Why? 15:51 Because the 1,260 day year prophecy ended 15:54 of papal persecution, the Dark Ages 15:56 or reign of the papacy 538-1798. 16:01 1798 was when the pope what? 16:05 Was taken into captivity 16:07 and he died the next year in captivity 16:08 by French general Berthier. 16:09 So these are all studies in there. 16:11 But remember after that, well what happened? 16:13 Before that time, Jesus said, 16:15 "Oh, there'd be signs in the sun and in the moon 16:18 and in the stars. 16:20 Remember, the persecution 16:21 did not go all the way up to 1798. 16:24 Several years prior to that, it began to ease off 16:28 because there were reformation and changes taking place. 16:31 We know that with the reformers, don't we? 16:33 Still was persecution a lot, 16:34 but not like it was during the dark, 16:36 dark part of the ages, 16:37 if you know what I'm talking about. 16:39 Hopefully, that gives you 16:40 just a little bit of background. 16:41 Jesus said, the Bible talk about so plainly, 16:43 he said there'd be not only that, 16:45 he said, that'd be, what was that, 16:46 Revelation Chapter 6 16:48 even talks about that there would be, 16:50 there'd be a great earthquake. 16:52 You remember the great earthquake 16:54 that would be the Lisbon earthquake, 16:56 you remember that? 16:57 Sure, 1755. 16:58 Now remember, we're going to what? 17:00 We're looking at 1798. 17:01 Jesus said, the end of time, 17:04 we can say down the end things are going to happen. 17:06 Well, Jesus wants us to be prepared. 17:07 Listen, when we talk about 1755, 17:10 we talk about the great Lisbon earthquake, 17:12 that shook 4 million square miles. 17:16 I mean, it went down in history one of the greatest, 17:18 you know, and people begin to quake 17:20 and shiver themselves and say, 17:22 surely the Lord God is coming. 17:24 Prior to that, 17:25 people were beginning to preach 17:26 and teach about the coming of Jesus. 17:28 Jesus said, 17:30 "I'm going to help you along here. 17:31 I'm going to give some signs that you can't miss." 17:34 How wonderful is this, 1755 we see that. 17:37 And just a few short years later 17:40 like 25, or was it 25 years later, 17:44 we find that the Bible said that the sun would not, 17:47 remember, not shine 17:48 and the moon would not give her light. 17:51 That was in 1780. 17:53 We see we're leaving at 1780, 1798, you see, all of that, 17:57 and then this says after that, 17:58 it said the stars would fall from heaven. 18:00 Gives three things, 18:02 may the moon would turn to blood, 18:03 these are all documented, they've all taken place. 18:06 And we need to, 18:07 we have our eyes and ears open to say, 18:09 this tells me that Jesus is coming 18:11 on November 13, 1833, 18:15 there was a shower, 18:16 a meteor shower of all stars falling, 18:18 that is dark 18:19 and yet it was so light outside in many places, 18:22 especially in North America, United States, 18:24 you could read a newspaper. 18:26 Things were happening, it went down here, 18:28 you can read about those things. 18:30 Jesus said, let me tell you, why? 18:32 1833 because all of this 18:34 was leading right up to 1844 18:37 and the judgment hour 18:39 and giving of the three angels' message. 18:40 God shook the world in 1755, you get it? 18:44 And then he said, 18:45 "Now I'm going to show you that the sun will not, 18:46 you know, will not give its light. 18:49 Moon's going to be a blood." 18:51 And the very next night that happened too. 18:55 And then the stars would fall. 18:58 And then just a few short years later, what, 19:02 1844 the judgment hour began, 19:04 Christ move from the Holy to the Most Holy place, 19:07 the judgment began. 19:08 God want us to be aware 19:10 that the judgment is falling in this land, 19:12 there is a cry because you know what? 19:14 At midnight, there's a cry. 19:15 We are in the midnight now of earth's history. 19:19 There's no doubt about it. 19:20 I know I spent time on that, 19:21 but, boy, just seemed like we need to go 19:23 over some of these things. 19:27 Read about those things, 19:29 there's a little bit more in Revelation 6:12 19:30 gives you those three. 19:34 And that was that would be under the sixth seal 19:37 by the way too in the Book of Revelation. 19:41 Now, you know that Jesus said something like this, 19:43 He said, there's, 19:44 I want you to learn the parable of the fig tree. 19:46 You remember that one? 19:48 Matthew 24 parable, 19:49 said when the branches are what? 19:51 When they are tender, Matthew 24:32 and 33. 19:55 When those leaves, you know, the parable of the fig tree, 19:58 "When the branch is yet tender, and putteth forth, " what? 20:02 "the leaves, you know that summer is nigh." 20:05 Good, nigh, verse 33, 20:07 "So likewise, when you see all of these things, 20:10 know that it is near, even at the door." 20:12 Jesus was talking about this because he said, 20:15 when you see what's happening in the government today, 20:18 when you see what's taking place 20:19 with the nations of the world today, 20:21 when there's wars and rumors of wars 20:23 and people are talking about all kinds of things, 20:25 that's an impossibility to fulfill, 20:28 when they're lying through their teeth. 20:31 Why? 20:32 It's because this comes so obvious. 20:34 Before years ago, Oh, Kenny, be careful. 20:36 When the politicians lied through their teeth, 20:38 they did in such a way it was hard to detect 20:40 where they were like, 20:41 okay, now it's easy, 20:44 because they're making predictions 20:45 that they cannot fulfill. 20:48 You can't run a world on everything being free. 20:52 You get it. 20:53 You can't change the world 20:56 from the engines that we have 20:57 and the cars that we have 20:59 and the way we use electricity and the environment, 21:02 everything that's going on right now 21:03 and just change it overnight. 21:05 When they're talking about these things, 21:07 people don't listen to part of it. 21:09 A lot of stuff they're thinking about now they're saying, 21:11 well, we'd like to do is make all these changes 21:13 and transfer these deals over, 21:15 so it doesn't pollute our environment so and so. 21:17 They're talking about in the next 30 years. 21:23 The laws and stuff they're looking at is by 2050. 21:27 Well, that's the heart, some of us are here thinking, 21:29 were hoping that none of us are here 21:31 that you know that Jesus is going to come, 21:33 we're going to make it out of here, that's way, is it. 21:35 But they're starting to plan, or making plans right now. 21:38 We need to be aware of that. 21:39 Jesus said, you're going to know 21:41 that it's near. 21:42 It's even at the door. 21:44 Jesus promises this, 21:45 be sure you can cling to this one. 21:47 Luke 21:33. 21:50 He said, "Heaven and earth shall," do what? 21:53 "Shall pass away, but my words shall not, 21:58 in that, pass away." 21:59 See, that's good. 22:00 Jesus said it, His words will not pass away, 22:04 and people are trying to say, 22:06 well, some parts have pass away and some not, 22:07 but Jesus words will not pass away. 22:09 That's what the Word of God says here. 22:11 They need not pass away 22:12 because what he said was truth. 22:14 You see, and truth endureth, 22:15 we know that. 22:17 But I say that it's the crisis is upon us. 22:18 There's no doubt about it. 22:20 Every case is soon to be decided 22:23 your case, my case, 22:24 everyone's ever lived on this earth for eternity. 22:27 But I believe this that seems to me, 22:29 see what you think about it. 22:30 It seems to me that this world is in some kind of a trance. 22:37 You're telling about coming of Jesus 22:40 and they're gone. 22:45 Might maybe they've never heard it 22:46 or oh, not now, things are going well for me. 22:50 You follow my thinking. 22:53 Or they yawn. 22:56 They yawn in your face. 22:59 We're talking about for eternity. 23:06 Hit me like you're serious. 23:10 Thinking about it yesterday evening 23:12 I was studying and this morning I was thinking about it. 23:14 He say, "No, that's fine. 23:16 Kenny you'll never pass this way again." 23:20 Put your name in there. 23:22 You're passing through right now 23:23 because you're alive. 23:25 But the Lord tells me you won't pass this way again. 23:31 Wow. 23:32 Yeah, we're here and He go, never return to this mess. 23:39 We die, we rest till Jesus come. 23:41 You won't pass this way again. 23:43 Wow. 23:45 That's for everybody, that's how serious this is. 23:50 And this is why we need to hear 23:51 over and over and over and over, 23:53 not well they've done three or four days 23:54 or through a few Sabbaths I've talked about, 23:57 every week we need to be reminded, 24:00 you pass through life one time, 24:02 we've got to make it right with Jesus. 24:05 Truth is so important. You know, 3 John 4. 24:11 He said, "I have no greater joy..." 24:12 Now this must be some happiness. 24:15 If you said I have no greater joy 24:16 than this, you know what? 24:17 I'm going to say, "What is it? 24:19 What do you mean you have no greater joy? 24:21 What is it brings you joy?" 24:24 He went on to say, 24:25 when my children walk in the truth. 24:28 "I have no greater joy 24:29 than when my children walk in the truth." 24:31 Important, present truth we're talking about. 24:35 Present truth shows us listen, present duty. 24:41 This is all we're talking about we're talking midnight cry. 24:43 We're talking about Jesus coming, 24:45 probation closing, 24:46 everything's coming to an end. 24:47 Everything shows us everything's coming to an end. 24:49 People are talking about the end. 24:51 They're doing it maybe in a different way. 24:52 They're still talking about this earth 24:54 is coming to an end. 24:57 We're talking certainly spiritual here. 25:01 But present duty is where we should stand, 25:05 where we should be 25:06 in our relationship with Christ, 25:08 because there's a time of trouble 25:10 coming on this world that the world has never seen. 25:13 You've heard it 5,000 times, 25:15 I pray you hear another 5,000 times 25:16 if you're around 25:18 because a time of trouble that this world has never seen. 25:23 We're at midnight, the cry is coming. 25:26 Before the great big cry, there is the little cry, 25:30 if I might say that, the little time of trouble. 25:34 God is gracious to us not to pour all on us at once. 25:38 He's given us time to get ready and to prepare. 25:42 Now listen, 25:44 any of you read any books by James White, 25:48 I like Brother James White. 25:50 That was Ellen White's husband. 25:52 Here's what James White had to say about present truth 25:54 because I believe in present truth 25:55 because present truth shows me my duty right now. 26:00 Not yesterday, not 10 years ago 26:02 and oh, oh, it's right now what my duty is. 26:04 James White said this. 26:06 He said present truth must be often repeated. 26:11 That makes sense? 26:12 I need everything off repeated so that I can remember it. 26:17 People will say, "Well, 26:18 how so and so remember all these things," 26:20 because every time you talk to them, 26:21 they tell you the same. 26:22 Okay. 26:25 I can remember it too if I repeat it over and over, 26:26 you see what I'm saying? 26:28 It's all right. 26:29 But notice it, present truth must be often repeated, 26:32 even to those who are established in it. 26:36 Well, I've been in it for 50 years, doesn't matter, 26:38 even those who are established in present truth, 26:41 it has to be often repeated, 26:42 and you will hardly ever hear it 26:44 in any of our churches. 26:46 You just won't hear it. 26:48 You can count on what you want as a warning, 26:50 or I love you that's why I'm saying it 26:52 or I'm criticizing or condemning. 26:54 Hopefully you won't go that far. 26:56 If you love people, 26:58 you're willing to risk losing them 26:59 by telling them the truth. 27:02 Boy, established. 27:06 Present truth has always been needful. 27:09 Right? 27:10 In every generation, we know that, 27:12 we've heard over and over, there's been precedent, 27:13 it's always been needful. 27:15 If it God wouldn't have sinned, if it wasn't needful. 27:19 And certainly, I believe this 27:20 to those of us who are living 27:22 in these last moments of earth's history. 27:24 Remember, you have to believe that, 27:26 you've got to come to that point 27:27 where you really believe 27:29 these are last moments of earth's history 27:30 and you will not pass this way again. 27:35 That's heavy duty. 27:39 I think about those four angels. 27:43 Revelation Chapter 7, 27:45 those four angels that are holding them out, 27:46 what's these four angels represent? 27:48 North, south, east and west, right, the whole world. 27:51 They're holding back the strife, 27:52 they're holding back war. 27:54 They're holding back, why? 27:55 Because men, believe it or not 27:57 in other countries are plotting 27:58 and if we don't know that by now 28:00 even, can I say this, 28:01 even these little dinky nations, 28:06 countries who would not, 28:09 in my opinion, stand a chance 28:11 against some of the larger ones as Russia or United States. 28:14 They're talking big, 28:16 they're threatening, or challenging. 28:19 The Bible said that there be war, 28:21 Jesus said wars and rumors of wars, 28:23 but remember He say we have but we've got, 28:25 you know, nuclear pack 28:26 and we're only going to have some day, that's all a lie. 28:29 Anybody should know that. 28:31 Secretly, they're planning for war. 28:35 And as long as God's told those angels hold, 28:39 they will hold. 28:40 But when God's people are sealed, 28:42 and that's what God, 28:44 when the sealing time, 28:45 when your name comes up in the judgment, 28:47 you either going to pass the test or you're not. 28:51 Once God's people are sealed, 28:52 hopefully we'll be able to talk more about 28:54 as time's running quickly by 28:55 but it's, when after they're sealed, 28:57 then God's going to tell those four angels, 28:59 remember Revelation Chapter 7, loose. 29:03 And then each nation will begin to devour each other. 29:07 Are you still there? 29:10 Because there'll be no real as a way called Holy Spirit 29:14 holding back the winds of strife, 29:16 commotion, that's what wins in Bible prophecy. 29:19 They'll not be that going on 29:20 and the devil will start having his hay day 29:23 and that's turning on one another 29:25 and killing one another. 29:26 You have to realize, brothers and sisters, 29:28 I have to realize every day in my life, I owe to God, 29:32 whether you believe in Him 29:33 or whether you do not believe in Him 29:35 and you're still walking around, 29:36 the devil wants you dead. 29:38 He would kill you in a moment. 29:39 I'm just going to be honest, he could kill you in a moment. 29:42 He'll get rid of you just like that if he could, 29:44 but God stays the hand of the enemy 29:46 and says not now. 29:48 Isn't that wonderful to know? 29:51 Why don't we give Him praise for that, 29:52 thank You, Lord. 29:56 But one of these days it's going to be too late 29:58 to spread present truth. 30:01 And what are we doing about it? 30:03 When it becomes too late, 30:05 that means souls are going to be lost. 30:07 Is it going to be because we didn't do our job, 30:10 somebody else didn't do the job. 30:11 Here's where I believe we're at, 30:13 this where I believe, 30:15 you might have a different thought. 30:17 And I've talked to quite a few people, 30:19 I'm sure you have, but it's almost impossible. 30:23 It's almost impossible to make someone see 30:27 and recognize present truth. 30:31 Would you say 30:32 the three angels' message would be present truth? 30:35 Okay, see, that sound easy, 30:37 but most people haven't even heard of it. 30:39 And I'm trying to say why haven't they heard of it? 30:43 Man, we got radio out there. 30:45 We got TV going 30:46 and people are talking about it, but you what? 30:48 Most so called religious, 30:52 they're not talking about no three angels' message. 30:53 They don't even know what exist. 30:56 They're not warning anybody. 30:58 They're saying, you're not going to be here. 31:00 God's going to rapture you out, 31:01 we've talked about but keep talking about 31:03 because the devil has a lie. 31:05 God's saying, I want you to prepare 31:06 because at midnight 31:09 you've got to have more oil, Holy Spirit, 31:11 you got to have character change. 31:16 But you just can't already make somebody understand 31:19 what present truth is. 31:22 What is it? 31:24 You can hardly make them understand 31:25 what is present truth. 31:27 But then you start to look at it here 31:29 and most of them will say, 31:30 well, that's past truth or maybe it's a future 31:35 that's going to be if you were, 31:36 you heard somebody believes in Revelation, 31:37 oh, I'm in future or it's all happened already. 31:42 Rather than to follow it 31:44 just like God has put it in His Word 31:46 and let it build one upon the other, 31:47 we get confused, the devil confuses us. 31:51 You remember what the Bible said? 31:52 You know this in Psalms is one. 31:54 What is it? 119:165. 31:56 The Bible said my word is a lamp, lamp what? 32:01 Yeah. Lamp into my feet. 32:02 It's a light into my path. 32:04 Where does that light do the most good? 32:06 Way in the future, way behind us. 32:10 Present, does that fit? 32:14 Join the life, it fits right now. 32:18 It's not bright at a distance 32:20 but it's bright at our feet where we needed. 32:23 I'm not hurrying I say, well, I can't see over here. 32:27 Shine me a light. 32:29 And you take the flashlight and you point it back here. 32:33 Oh, first thing you do is go right down here 32:35 because you don't want to stumble 32:37 and you don't want to fall and that's where it's bright 32:39 and you can see the walk. 32:42 Present truth, this is what we need. 32:46 We should be sad. 32:48 We should be a little bit upset 32:50 that we as a people are so lukewarm, 32:53 so sleepy eyed, nodding our heads, 32:56 focusing on anything 32:57 and everything inside the church. 32:59 Well, sometime more of a political nature 33:02 than we do the spiritual nature. 33:07 We're focused on what other churches are doing. 33:10 What is going on with the neighbors or the other 33:12 whatever they're doing, 33:15 rather than 33:16 on what God has commissioned us to do. 33:19 He has commanded us to preach a certain message, 33:22 teach a certain message. 33:26 What do we have today to be so happy 33:29 and bold about and to brag about? 33:33 When you look at the lukewarm church, 33:35 we realize that you're, if you look at the book, 33:37 a church, in Revelation there're seven churches, 33:39 is that right? 33:40 Did I get it, are seven? 33:42 All right, I think I had this made well. 33:45 If someone would ask you what church are we in? 33:48 So you can follow the churches. 33:50 Seven churches right, first, second, third, fourth, 33:54 represented by the white horse, you remember that, 33:56 it's talking about this another, 33:57 so God went over and over 33:59 and repeated only different symbols. 34:01 And the seals first form that look at him. 34:05 So what, if I said what church are we in? 34:07 There's only seven 34:09 and then the answer is going to be here. 34:10 What would you say, what church? 34:13 The seventh church. 34:14 There is no more churches, this is it. 34:16 And it's called the Laodicea Church, 34:19 the lukewarm or the time of the judgment. 34:24 Ellen White says the Laodicea Church, 34:28 the seventh church 34:29 has special application to Seventh-day Adventist. 34:35 Now that's what people tell me, 34:37 you're not supposed to air dirty laundry. 34:39 Well, you know what? 34:40 If you got dirty laundry, you need to get it washed. 34:43 Is that all right? 34:46 What do you do with dirty laundry? 34:49 You wash it. That's right. 34:52 Put a little some special oil in it. 34:56 Now remember, dirt, telling what the truth is, 34:59 and the situation as it is, it's not airing dirty laundry. 35:03 That's calling sin by its right name. 35:06 Airing dirty laundry would be, 35:08 I saw brother so and so doing something 35:11 he shouldn't be doing, I call his name out, 35:12 you know what I'm saying. 35:14 Don't even know it's true or not, 35:15 that's kind of like 35:17 we shouldn't be doing that kind of stuff. 35:18 But what God has said in His Word, 35:20 we have every authority 35:21 and through His prophet exactly to repeat that 35:24 even though we don't want to hear it. 35:26 The seventh church is so interesting 35:29 because we're in this time, 35:30 we're talking about the midnight cry. 35:35 Remember, the Laodicea Church basically takes up the point 35:39 from 1844, the judgment hour. 35:46 There can't be much time left. 35:51 Read about those, Revelation 3:15-17. 35:55 Read about these churches, you'll see. 35:57 But here's my point, 35:58 who is going to, if we are in this. 36:00 I'm spending all this time just to convince you, 36:03 convince myself by the grace of God 36:06 that we are in this time. 36:09 That we don't need to be wasting any more time, 36:11 we need to get with the program. 36:14 I'm going to say it before I run out of time, 36:15 if we have anything that we're going to be giving, 36:17 and I want to talk more about that 36:19 in the cause of Christ, 36:20 Lord, have mercy. Give it now. 36:23 Do it now because 36:25 take care of things now. 36:28 Don't sit on what God has given you. 36:30 He'll hold you accountable for that. 36:31 You're not a good steward, I'm not a good steward. 36:34 The cause of God is languishing 36:36 for means to get more done. 36:38 We look around here 36:40 and people might be counting 36:41 hundreds of thousands of dollars. 36:42 We're counting pennies. 36:45 Here at Behold the Lamb we count pennies. 36:47 Maybe that's what God has in mind. 36:49 But I'm telling, we see, oh God, if you'll provide more, 36:53 so much more that can be done, so much more help that can be, 36:56 free you up to do more things for the cause of Christ. 36:59 What you know you should be doing 37:01 and the devil's choking and fighting at every step, 37:05 making this more selfish 37:06 and more want to keep what we gotten. 37:10 If you're not in ministry, 37:11 you don't know what I'm talking about. 37:13 So close your ear, do whatever you want, 37:14 you don't, you're not going to get it, 37:17 or those who are associated with 37:18 or hear about that, you understand. 37:21 This is the time, Ezekiel Chapter 9, 37:26 the Bible talks about a sighing and crying 37:29 for the abominations that be done. 37:31 Think about what? 37:33 That's taking place inside and outside the church. 37:36 You've heard that said so many times. 37:38 We're in this time of the end, the world tells us that we are. 37:42 Should we not be sighing and crying 37:44 for the abominations that be done inside 37:46 and outside the church? 37:48 Let me ask you a question. 37:50 Is it important to cry against abominations? 37:55 Somebody get loud. 37:57 Man, all through Scripture, 38:00 you notice that God said that's an abomination. 38:03 He told in His prophecy, let me say, 38:05 "Tell them it's an abomination. 38:07 There's not a change take place. 38:08 I'm going to make some changes." 38:10 That's what God's telling us right now. 38:12 It's an abomination. 38:13 But who's, okay you see abomination taking place? 38:15 Are you silent? 38:16 Are you going to stand for what you know is right? 38:20 Let me ask you another question. 38:22 How many of us really are sighing and crying, 38:24 notice this for, 38:26 think about sighing, crying for salvation? 38:29 We talked about the abominations. 38:31 Oh, yes, but how many of us are really sighing and crying, 38:33 I want to be saved in thy kingdom God? 38:36 And we might come back and say, "Lord, did you hear me? 38:38 Not trying to be smart with Him. 38:40 I want to make sure you hear me, 38:41 I don't want to be left out. 38:43 Lord, what do I need to be doing?" 38:44 And it's not a work type thing. 38:46 It's just the thing I need to get right with me. 38:47 Lord, what is it 38:49 maybe it's taking place in my life 38:50 and thought and word action, hearing, seeing, whatever, 38:53 that may not be pleasing in the sight of heaven? 38:55 How many sighing and crying I want to be saved? 38:58 How many? 39:01 How many are sighing and crying, 39:03 I want to be delivered from sin? 39:06 Lord, help me, give me victory in every area of my life. 39:09 I have to have delivery from you and deliver from sin. 39:13 How many are sighing and crying for the mercy of God? 39:17 Let me take, 39:18 if we need to be sighing and crying for something, 39:20 surely it's the mercy of God. 39:22 Because we're filthy, 39:23 there's none good, there's not one, 39:25 there's not one thing that we can do 39:26 that's not filthy and rotten and unacceptable with heaven. 39:31 Think about it. 39:32 We might well, we do this good or we sing good. 39:34 Maybe somebody preaches or somebody... 39:37 When heaven looks down, it's filthy. 39:40 Every aspect's filthy because of human beings. 39:43 We have no idea. Oh, that's so wonderful. 39:45 That's so good in our humaneness. 39:48 Heaven is not holy. 39:49 It's just and good. 39:51 And it looks down and weighs all the motives of the heart 39:53 and compare with heavenly things, 39:54 there's nothing good that can be acceptable 39:56 unless Jesus is in it. 40:00 And has accepted my little talk or whatever be accepted, 40:04 acceptable in heaven 40:06 because of the Spirit of the living God 40:08 not because of me. 40:09 You're singing, you're playing or whatever you're doing 40:12 will only be acceptable as Jesus is in it. 40:14 I hope that makes sense. 40:16 I'm not trying to be judgmental and condemning. 40:18 That's not it, but think about it. 40:19 That shows me where I'm at. 40:21 I'm crying and sighing for mercy. 40:22 Oh, God, have mercy. 40:26 Not to look around and say, 40:27 "Well, if old Joe is going to make it over there, 40:29 I guarantee I'm going to make it." 40:31 You've heard people say that. Now come on. 40:34 God knows about Joe, but He also knows about you, 40:36 He knows about me. 40:38 Don't worry about Joe. 40:40 Every man's going to have to get it 40:41 for himself. 40:42 Bible is very clear on that, 40:44 work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. 40:47 Don't let anyone hold you back. 40:50 We're living in an hour 40:51 that I believe fulfill Bible prophecy 40:54 and also a Spirit of Prophecy, 40:55 where right now we're going to have to let go 40:58 of all those things that's holding us back. 41:02 We've got to let go of those things. 41:04 People sometimes try to hold us back. 41:06 We are commencing in my opinion, 41:09 the time of trouble, 41:10 the commencement of the time of trouble, 41:12 a little time of trouble. 41:14 Not the big time of trouble, we mentioned of Daniel 12:1. 41:17 May read something quickly from Early Writings 41:19 as our time is really going away. 41:20 Early Writings 33 and 34. 41:23 This is quite a page here, but half a page at most, 41:26 "I saw that God had children 41:27 who do not see and keep the Sabbath," 41:29 understandable. 41:31 "They have not rejected the light upon it. 41:34 And at the commencement of the time of trouble, 41:37 we were filled with the Holy Ghost," 41:38 I like this, 41:40 "as we went forth 41:41 and proclaimed the Sabbath more fully." 41:44 See, as the Holy Ghost fills us the way we need to be 41:48 because the third angel's message 41:49 must be given, you know, 41:51 specifically it says the third angel's message. 41:53 What is that? 41:55 That's the warning against what? 41:57 The mark of what? 41:58 The mark of the beast, 41:59 or at one day that it will be, will be what? 42:02 A substitute day of worship 42:04 in the place of the real Seventh-day Sabbath. 42:06 Does that make sense? 42:07 No one has the mark of the beast right now 42:09 until the Sunday law is passed. 42:11 But the warning is going out before it ever takes place, 42:14 for when it does take place, 42:15 then you're going to say somebody said this. 42:18 How did they know, let's ask some more questions. 42:21 Just put yourself out there, 42:23 you know, I'm not, 42:24 God didn't put Himself out there. 42:26 He put His truth and I believe is truth 42:27 and I stand on it. 42:30 Notice, it goes on, it says, "I saw the," listen, 42:33 "little time of trouble. 42:34 I saw the sword, I saw a famine, 42:36 I saw pestilence. 42:37 I saw great confusion in the land. 42:39 The wicked thought that we had 42:40 brought the judgments upon them. 42:43 They rose up and took counsel to get rid of the earth, " 42:46 kill us. 42:47 Did you get it? 42:48 They counseled together, 42:50 thinking that the evil would be stayed. 42:51 See this is where 42:53 we're starting to enter into right now. 42:54 You say, well, that's impossibility. 42:55 What do they do with Jesus? 42:57 You remember about Jesus? What they say? 42:59 They wrote He was doing great things on there 43:01 and they said, "Man, we got to get rid of this guy. 43:03 We're going to kill him." 43:05 They counseled, 43:06 the Bible said they counseled to kill him, 43:08 and I think it was, 43:09 wasn't high priest at that time. 43:11 He said, No, I'll tell you what? 43:12 It's a lot better for one man to perish 43:14 than the whole nation. 43:15 It's coming to that point right now, 43:16 they're looking at people 43:18 who are causing problems and confusion. 43:19 They say, we need to get rid of them. 43:21 They're doing it in every possible area 43:22 you can think of from freedom of speech 43:23 and press and everything you go to do. 43:26 They're trying to get rid of things 43:27 that cause trouble 43:29 or people that ask questions, 43:30 I'm telling you, we're living in a mess. 43:32 And it's always going to be 43:34 as people are re-implementing 43:35 the certainly the death penalty. 43:39 Bible is very, very clear. 43:43 Early Writings, 85:6 says this, 43:45 I'm moving fast because there's a lot to do. 43:48 Let's make a little bit closer here. 43:50 It said, "At the commencement of the time of trouble, " 43:52 remember we're talking about, you have 43:54 the little time of trouble first 43:55 is still trouble. 43:56 Man, it's still heavy. 43:58 Majority of people 43:59 are not going to put up with it, 44:00 they're going to leave, they're going to sign 44:02 whatever they have to sign, 44:03 they're going to give away whatever they have to give away 44:04 because they want to eat 44:06 and they want maybe shelter and man 44:07 that's something 44:09 we'd all like to have, wouldn't we? 44:10 But there comes a time that God says, 44:14 "I'm going to be your rock. I'm going to be your shield. 44:16 I'm going to be your buckler. I'm going to take care of you. 44:18 You're better water is going to be sure." 44:22 Early Writings 85:6 says, 44:24 "A commencement at the time of trouble," 44:25 notice, "here mentioned does not refer to the time 44:28 when the plague shall be poured out." 44:30 The big time of trouble 44:32 refers to the time that probation closes, 44:34 Revelation 15:8, 44:36 "And smoke filled the temple of God." 44:38 Jesus rose up, right? 44:40 Took off as, you know, 44:41 as He's mediating in our behalf, 44:43 put those garments and He gonna visit this world. 44:46 After Jesus says it's finished, 44:49 that means after every name has come up and pronounced, 44:51 they're pronounced good, going to make it or lost. 44:55 Then the plagues are poured out. 44:58 Then the people of God 44:59 will go through a time of trouble 45:00 that they'd never been on the face of this earth. 45:03 Then we'll come out of that time of trouble, 45:05 the 144,000 that's like Jesus. 45:09 They're going to go through the time of Jacob's trouble 45:11 that you and I have never seen, we've never experienced, 45:13 we can't take somebody saying something to us. 45:16 We can't take somebody different, you know, 45:17 I may have a different opinion than we have. 45:20 We can't take somebody looking different 45:21 or different color than we are. 45:23 We can't stand it without some kind of argument, 45:24 something going on. 45:27 We haven't seen anything yet. 45:34 Time that we just talked about 45:35 was not that great time of trouble. 45:37 But notice, it's right at the end. 45:39 The Early Writings talks about here 45:41 and very clear in Scripture. 45:42 It's the time just before Jesus stands up 45:45 and says it's finished again. 45:48 All this breaks loose, you see on the world. 45:52 And then, of course, 45:54 once He stand then we know the seven last plagues 45:56 fall after probation closes. 45:59 But remember, 46:00 the angels are holding it in check right now 46:03 because God is going to what? 46:06 You have to hold in check right now 46:07 because the third angel's message 46:09 must be given with great power. 46:12 And how can we give a third angel's message warning 46:15 against the mark of the beast and the papacy 46:17 that changes Sabbath to the Sunday issue? 46:19 How can we give that 46:20 when most churches never talk about the mark of the beast? 46:24 They don't talk about the third angel's message. 46:26 They'll talk a little bit about the judgment hour. 46:28 It's not going to offend anybody I think, 46:29 because somebody understand. 46:31 They'll talk a little bit about come out of her, 46:32 My people. 46:33 But when you go in and say right now that God said, 46:36 He is the author right, 46:37 He's the one that wrote the Seventh-day Sabbath, 46:40 the devil has come using the papacy 46:42 that changed that day of the week. 46:45 And then you see all of these things happening 46:48 with climate change, all the stuff that's happening, 46:50 but there's a midnight cry going out right now. 46:53 They're saying what? 46:55 We need to pass a law, a Sunday law, 46:58 we need to take at least one day off a week, 47:01 close shop down for everything and the environment will last. 47:05 Everything will get along real good 47:07 if we just shut down. 47:08 The Pope has said that already. 47:10 He presented that to the Congress in 2015. 47:14 They let him in there in front of the Congress, 47:15 you realize that 50, 60 years ago, 47:17 would never had a chance. 47:20 Things are changing is what I'm saying. 47:22 Your presidential candidates and different ones 47:24 now are saying plus our president, 47:26 we stand with the Pope. 47:30 They may not realize what they're saying, 47:32 but you should know and I should know 47:34 based on prophecy 47:38 that this beast that come out of the earth, 47:41 this lamb with two horns 47:42 is United States in Bible prophecy 47:44 and it begins to speak 47:45 as just exactly like the dragon. 47:48 Revelation 13:1-10. 47:50 That's the papal power, change of the Sabbath. 47:56 Boy, I'm telling you, time is closing up. 47:59 God wants us to present that third angel's message. 48:02 We realize just before that presenting third angel's, 48:05 the latter rainfalls, 48:07 we're skipping, right, remember, 48:08 the loud crowd, things are going haywire, 48:10 right now we need extra power, ain't that right? 48:12 Revelation 18 angel, 48:14 that fourth angel needs to come down, 48:15 things are going to happen 48:17 and then the third angel 48:18 can be presented with real power. 48:20 It will be convincing and people will make changes. 48:23 We need that latter rain experience 48:24 with presence from the Lord. 48:27 We need His presence. 48:28 We need His power. 48:30 We need that loud voice of that third angel's message 48:33 to prepare the saints 48:35 to stand in the great time of trouble, 48:38 the seven last plagues. 48:39 Man, you talk about it, 48:41 read in Acts Chapter 2 if you have time. 48:43 Read it in Joel Chapter 2. 48:45 Read it Hosea 6:3. 48:47 Read it in the Book of Revelation 18:1. 48:50 Read it the Book of Zachariah 10:1, 48:53 God is warning His people by His Bible writers 48:55 over and over and over and over. 48:58 But my Bible says we're going to have to endure. 49:01 God says during this time, there's going to be, 49:03 I'm going to give you a peace. 49:04 Remember? 49:06 He said, "I'll give you perfect peace. 49:08 I'll keep them in perfect peace whose mind is stayed." 49:12 Somebody say stayed on thee. 49:14 Think about stayed on Him, stayed on Him. 49:16 But what does that mean? 49:17 That means you're going to have perfect peace during this time 49:20 when your mind stayed on Him when you take hold of Him, 49:22 did you get it? 49:24 When you take hold of Jesus, you're going to have a peace. 49:26 When you rest in Jesus, you're going to have peace. 49:28 When you stand for Jesus, you're going to have peace. 49:31 If you're not going to stand for Him, 49:33 you're not going to, 49:34 you're going to stand for the one 49:36 you're going to be sustained during this time 49:37 if you take a hold of Jesus. 49:38 That's wonderful, isn't it? 49:41 Bible says trust in the Lord. 49:43 Stay, notice this, stay with God, 49:47 stay upon the Lord, trust in Him. 49:51 Our minds need to be occupied with this present truth, 49:54 with these messages should be going far and wide. 49:57 We need to understand quickly, 49:58 we need to understand more and more, 50:00 I said over and over, 50:01 we need to understand the state of the dead 50:02 like we've never understood it before. 50:05 We're in that dark time. 50:07 There's a loud cry going out 50:09 and the enemy is going to be crying out. 50:12 Going to be impersonating our loved ones 50:14 and our friends and our relatives, 50:16 he's going to declare 50:18 that the Sabbath has been changed. 50:20 You think that won't be a tough time 50:21 for you and for me, 50:23 when this stuff is all laid out, 50:24 when it's on satellite TV. 50:26 Everybody has heard it. 50:27 Everybody has seen it. 50:28 They've never seen 50:30 or heard anything like this before 50:31 in their entire lives. 50:33 It's mind boggling. 50:34 It's like magic. 50:35 They're just overwhelmed by it. 50:37 You're going to look pretty strange. 50:38 You have to have the Word of God, 50:39 my brothers and sisters. 50:41 We have to come to the very point of 50:42 you don't know anything else. 50:44 We have to realize Ecclesiastes 9:5, 50:46 "The dead know not anything." 50:47 That settles it. Somebody with me here? 50:50 That settled, the dead know not what? 50:52 Anything, nothing, nada, zero. 50:55 They don't know anything. They can't come back. 50:58 Midnight we're hearing a cry, God's telling His people, 51:01 we need to get rid of those heavy weights. 51:03 I'll go quick as I can, four minutes or so left. 51:05 He said, Kenny, 51:07 you got to lay aside those weights and sins, 51:09 that means the weights are burdens here, 51:12 the weights is a load. 51:14 Every weight means 51:15 in the original language hindrances. 51:18 Weight is so heavy on God's people sometime 51:22 because we won't shift it to Jesus. 51:24 It causes our legs to buckle. 51:27 You see, but a weight sometime behind a wall, 51:29 supporting wall, 51:30 some time it makes the wall buckle 51:32 getting ready to fall apart. 51:35 God says, "You got to get rid of those things. 51:37 We don't need those things." 51:38 But let me tell you 51:40 why some of these things are going to come like this. 51:41 And I'm going to encourage you with this. 51:43 Those who, Early Writings 56:7 says, 51:45 "Houses and lands will be of no, 51:48 no use to the saints in the time of trouble." 51:50 We're entering what? 51:52 A little time of trouble, but notice what? 51:54 Houses and land, 51:55 money will be of no value to the saints 51:57 at a time of trouble. 51:59 "For they will have to flee before the infuriated mobs, 52:02 and at their time their possessions 52:04 cannot be disposed of 52:05 to advance the cause of present truth." 52:08 See, here it is, we have to advance right now 52:10 the cause of present truth. 52:12 Many are languishing because they can't hear it 52:14 because they can't get the message out 52:15 because we're holding on to things. 52:17 "I was shown that is the will of God, 52:19 notice, that the saints should cut loose off 52:22 every encumbrance 52:23 before the time of trouble comes." 52:26 That takes faith to do that. 52:28 Well, I've got this in the bank, I've got house, 52:29 I got land, yeah, what am I going to do? 52:31 Who's going to take care of me? I understand that. 52:34 I didn't say it's going to be easy. 52:36 But we've got to cut loose and make preparation now. 52:39 I've often thought wondered on, 52:40 a lot of ministries we talked to you all the time, 52:42 well so and so in their wills or whatever they're leaving us 52:44 houses and property and all this doesn't look up, 52:47 it's been I don't know how many years 52:48 has anybody left Behold the Lamb anything, 52:50 how's that? 52:52 Is it okay if I say that? 52:55 Sure. It is. 52:57 Could it be that the others, well, you know, 52:58 could have been, not all of that way, 53:00 maybe they're not giving anything 53:01 and the devil says fine, 53:03 we'll make sure that funds are directed over here 53:05 because they're not, they're not doing anything 53:07 that's going to hurt me anyway. 53:08 But maybe when you're preaching the truth, 53:10 maybe when you're living the truth by the grace of God, 53:12 maybe when you want people to hear this message, 53:14 give it the way God said to give it, 53:16 that the enemy is going to fight you 53:17 tooth and nail. 53:18 He's going to press everybody as it were 53:20 to make sure that nothing comes your way. 53:22 Man, we've been through that dry place. 53:25 We rely upon God 53:26 to be able to take care of this 53:28 but not now, we have to right now. 53:29 Before the time of trouble hits, 53:31 we've got to get rid of these things 53:32 that's holding us down. 53:34 We can't do it. 53:35 We have a good, article goes on say, 53:37 we do it through sacrifice and duty. 53:39 It says, if we lay them on the altar, 53:40 duty will teach us 53:42 when we are to get rid of these things. 53:43 What do we do if we don't get rid of them? 53:45 Whoa, I tell you right now, 53:46 notice it, what it said, Early Writings 57, 53:49 he will be allowed to keep it, 53:50 if you want to keep him, he said, you keep it, 53:52 but, time of trouble, 53:53 it will come up before them like a mountain and crush them. 53:56 They would try to dispose of it, 53:58 they would not be able. 54:00 I heard some more in like this. 54:02 The cause was languishing. 54:04 If the call if ever was languishing 54:06 any more than it is right now, 54:07 at least here Behold the Lamb I want to know about it. 54:10 It's languishing right now, notice this, 54:12 "God's people were starving for the truth 54:15 and we made no effort to supply the lack, 54:19 now our property is useless. 54:21 Oh that we had let go and put treasures in heaven." 54:25 Did you get it? 54:27 See that you give alms Jesus said, Luke 12:33. 54:31 On this passage quickly, 54:33 a little over a minute left right here. 54:34 Ellen White says this on it. 54:36 Notice this passage I just read give alms. 54:39 She says, it means this, 54:40 "It has not been given by some in the clear light, 54:43 the object or the words of the Savior 54:44 has not been clearly presented. 54:46 The object, notice this, of selling is not, notice it, 54:49 is not to give those who are able to labor 54:52 and support themselves but to spread the truth." 54:55 What is it giving all about? 54:57 It's to spread the truth. 54:59 If we do not support it, we don't believe in it. 55:02 People sit around the table 55:04 and they're not giving to the cause of Christ 55:05 and you don't believe, you talk all you want, 55:07 it's that time, it's languishing. 55:11 Jesus is in the Most Holy Place. 55:13 He's pleading our cases right now, 55:15 the ceiling time is very short, 55:16 it's soon coming to an end. 55:20 We need to be sealed, we need to be stamped. 55:23 And He'll seal and stamp 55:24 certainly as the seventh day Sabbath 55:26 as we well know it's a settling into the truth of God's Word. 55:28 I'm going to pray for you, 15-16 seconds left. 55:30 Let's pray right now, you've made that decision. 55:32 You made that choice, 55:33 you're going to give to the cause of Christ. 55:35 You're going to put it on the altar 55:36 and see what God's going to do with what you have. 55:37 Father in heaven, thank You for Your precious Word, 55:40 impress hearts and minds everywhere 55:41 what we need to be doing, 55:43 all of us laying everything on the altar 55:44 because You're coming soon. 55:45 I thank You and this decision in Jesus' name, amen. 55:49 Hello and welcome back, friends. 55:51 Again, we pray that this message 55:52 has drawn your heart heavenward in prayer 55:55 and in seeking a closer connection 55:57 with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. 56:00 Christ is our only hope. 56:02 He alone may open or close the door of salvation 56:05 for each and every one of us. 56:07 He is the bridegroom 56:08 and His messages are giving a loud cry 56:12 to get ready, get ready, 56:14 get ready for His soon to return. 56:17 It is our prayer that you will heed His call 56:20 and that you will prayerfully act in joining us here 56:23 at Behold the Lamb Ministries 56:25 in preparing others to do the very same thing. 56:28 We need your help. 56:29 We need your help as never before. 56:32 Expense costs continue to rise.
