00:41 I'm Chris Shelton, your host. 00:43 I want to thank you for tuning in. 00:45 Today's message is entitled Solemn Events: 00:48 Blow the Trumpet in Zion. 00:50 Soon after the end of 00:52 what we referred to in history as the Dark Ages, 00:55 there began a religious awakening throughout 00:57 Europe and America. 00:59 The Lord told us that 01:00 there would be signs in the sun, moon, and stars, 01:03 along with distress of nations with perplexity 01:06 and the sea and the waves warring. 01:09 And that men's hearts will fail them for fear 01:12 as they see all of these solemn events 01:15 coming upon the earth, for the powers 01:17 of heaven shall be shaken. 01:20 You can read more about 01:21 this in the Book of Luke in Chapter 21. 01:24 These signs were foretold by our Lord and Savior, 01:27 to show that the end would then be 01:29 very near even at the door. 01:32 "Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, 01:34 and sound the alarm in my holy mountain: 01:37 let all the inhabitants of the land tremble, 01:40 for the day of the Lord cometh, for it is nigh at hand." 01:44 Look that up in Joel 2:1. 01:48 We must work together to make a loud noise 01:51 to wake up the sleeping saints. 01:54 The judgment hour is soon to close, 01:57 whose side will you be found on? 06:56 Because those who are sleeping, 06:57 awake them up too or maybe startle them, 06:59 and we need to be startled. 07:01 So anyway, we're glad that you join us here. 07:04 There'll be many who will listen to the message 07:06 on the CD and DVDs 07:08 and we're thankful that we can get into the homes 07:10 and we get this message around the world. 07:14 Right now, people, before we have prayer, 07:16 we realize there's a lot of people 07:18 that are asking questions about what's happening, 07:21 what time are we living in, in earth's history. 07:24 Because of the things that are happening, 07:26 they're asking questions like, where is this world headed? 07:30 What can we expect next? 07:33 You know, this COVID thing, 07:36 is it going to play a part in the end times? 07:39 How can I really tell that we are in the end times? 07:44 These are legitimate questions that people ask, 07:46 and they're talking about, 07:48 and many are calling the ministry, 07:49 should we be vaccinated or should we not be vaccinated? 07:53 And if I get my shot... 07:55 I'm told if I don't get my shot 07:57 in certain places, 07:58 I'm going to lose my job. 08:00 They're concerned and rightly so. 08:03 And will it come to the point? 08:06 Will it come to the point that if we don't get our vaccine, 08:11 we would be able to continue to go into the stores? 08:14 You know, can we get groceries, 08:15 can we go, you know? 08:17 Will there come a time that 08:18 we'll not be able to buy or sell, say, 08:20 we have the vaccine. 08:22 Now, if you're thinking that 08:23 is the mark of the beast, it is not. 08:26 But it could be things that will be used 08:28 here in the last days of earth's history 08:30 we're going to be challenged. 08:32 Jesus told the disciples, 08:34 He said, there are some things 08:36 I want to tell you just before I come 08:38 that's going to take place. 08:41 If we pay attention to these things, 08:43 it will not be long, and then follow them, 08:46 won't be long until Jesus will come. 08:48 I'm under the vast impression 08:51 that the Lord could have come air this time, 08:55 but somehow we've fallen little short. 08:59 And where we have we need to go back 09:01 and cover that ground again to say, 09:02 "Come, Lord Jesus." 09:04 Solemn Events: Blow the Trumpet in Zion. 09:09 Remember, we are offering a free book 09:13 called The Mark of the Beast. 09:15 If you don't know what it is, 09:17 and the majority of the world, 09:19 be careful now, does not know what it is. 09:23 They do not know what it is, they're true. 09:24 Everything that's going on in the world 09:27 except the biblical insight to Scripture 09:32 because it has to do with who you worship. 09:36 Remember, who you worship. 09:37 And so you need this book. 09:39 It'll answer all kinds of dozens 09:40 and hundreds of questions, 09:42 and if it helped to 09:44 get on my knees and beg, I would. 09:46 This is a free book, 09:47 you just need to call and get it. 09:48 This may be life eternal for you. 09:50 So I pray that you will do that even right now because again, 09:53 it's answered many questions for me in my life, 09:56 and I'm sure it's going to answer many for you, 09:58 Solemn Events: Blow the Trumpet in Zion. 10:00 Let's pray together. 10:02 I'm going to kneel up here, 10:03 kneel where you can if you will. 10:05 Loving Father in heaven, 10:07 as we come to You, we ask, 10:09 first of all, for forgiveness of sin, 10:11 anything in our hearts and life that need not be there at all. 10:13 Lord, we need the power of Thy Holy Spirit right now. 10:17 Lord, come into in our midst right now, 10:20 sweep out as it were, sweep away those things 10:24 that need not be there, 10:25 but we need have our full attention upon you today. 10:29 These are signs and we pray that 10:32 we will heed those signs and that we will be ready 10:35 when you shall come and be prepared 10:37 to be able to do the work that 10:39 You've commissioned all of us to do. 10:41 Bless us, we pray to this 10:42 and may the Spirit of the Living God 10:44 now just illuminate these beautiful things 10:48 in our hearts and our minds in our life, 10:49 that not only will we hear them, 10:51 but we're willing to obey in Jesus' name. 10:53 Amen. 10:55 Our scripture reading 10:57 as we look in the Word of God quickly today, 11:00 we'll go over because of our time, 11:01 it goes so quickly when you get up here. 11:03 Now, when you're sitting, 11:05 some time it doesn't go quite so fast but for me, 11:07 I think sometimes it's like 10 minutes 11:09 or so and then I look and it's all over 11:11 and I haven't covered anything 11:12 that I really wanted to cover it seems like, 11:15 you know, by the grace of God. 11:16 Joel 2:15-17. 11:20 For the sake of time, 11:21 I want you to take homework if you want. 11:23 Joel 2:15-17, will notice what the Bible said. 11:28 It says, blow the trumpet, where? 11:30 In Zion, notice, sanctify fast, call a solemn assembly. 11:34 If there ever was a time that 11:35 somebody needs to blow the trumpet it is now 11:39 but you know, there are many people 11:40 who made decisions today, 11:41 they didn't feel like they needed to come to church. 11:44 Now let's just lay it out on the line. 11:45 Many people today, well, we not been feeling 11:47 but they go other places and do other things, 11:49 but somehow they can't find their way to church. 11:52 Not trying to scold them, 11:53 I'm probably saying, where's our priorities. 11:55 If we really believe that Jesus is coming, 11:57 we're not going to forsake 11:59 the assembling of ourselves together. 12:00 That's going to be our first priority 12:02 that we study the Word of God together 12:04 and you know, 12:05 gather up this relationship with Christ 12:07 that we so desperately need 12:09 because it says we need to gather the people. 12:13 Gather them, think about it, 12:15 gather them, sanctify the congregation, 12:17 just call the elders and call the children, 12:19 it means everybody together and say, 12:22 this is a solemn time and we need to be 12:25 working toward that right now. 12:27 How long has that been since you've seen, 12:29 we call it the ministers or the priests 12:31 as it were the pastors weep 12:33 between the porch and the altar. 12:35 Many times they're too busy cracking jokes in the pulpit, 12:39 rather than weeping 12:40 between the porch and the altar, 12:42 because of the things that are happening in the world 12:44 and the things that are shortly going to happen. 12:48 We're seeing things happen and take place right now. 12:51 That's scary. 12:53 We need the Spirit of the Living God 12:56 to come near to each and every one of us. 12:59 These verses have been read so many times. 13:02 You have read them maybe dozens of time, 13:04 maybe a lot more than that, 13:06 but they're being ignored today 13:08 and we need not ignore these warnings. 13:12 Jesus is speaking to you, 13:14 Jesus is speaking to me because there in the last days, 13:19 which we realize that we're in the days of unrest. 13:24 I mean, talk about unrest, 13:26 people are just almost like running to and fro. 13:28 They're nervous about things with all the disbelief 13:32 that's going on in that scripture 13:34 and the uncertainty of the things 13:37 that are happening. 13:38 And may I say the insanity of the world, 13:41 it so the world has lost its mind. 13:45 Really what's happening 13:46 in the world today, in the case, 13:47 the enemy is taking over minds. 13:50 Think about what's taking place, 13:52 think about all the shootings of drive-bys 13:53 and killing of kids 13:54 and everything that's going on in Afghanistan. 13:56 Everything that's going on 13:57 right now tells me that the enemy is alive and well, 14:01 and somebody needs to blow the trumpet in Zion. 14:04 If you study the Book of Joel, you know what a prophetic book, 14:07 what a book we need to be studying 14:09 and reading today. 14:11 We can see the message, 14:12 how it fit so perfectly in his day 14:15 and as I look at that, fitting perfectly in his day, 14:18 I can also see 14:19 how it fits perfectly in our day. 14:22 So I'm not trying to give you something that doesn't fit. 14:24 This fits exactly in the day that we are living in, 14:28 but you know what? 14:29 Not too many preachers are preaching about it. 14:31 Not too many pulpits are busy 14:32 with this kind of message today. 14:35 They want the people to go out say, 14:36 boy, I feel good. 14:38 Well, I'd like for you to go out 14:39 and feeling good that God's in charge, 14:41 but I want conviction to come upon you 14:42 and upon me that 14:43 there's victories we need to gain in our life 14:46 if heaven is going to be our home. 14:48 It's okay because we serve a victorious God, right? 14:51 We serve one who's on the throne, 14:52 praise God for that. 14:54 But as we study the Book of Joel, 14:56 let me just maybe go over just the whole Book of Joel 14:59 but just do it in just a few lines here. 15:03 Joel talks about and then you look and you say, 15:05 "Is this happening in the world that we're living in?" 15:07 Joel talked about the judgments that were falling in his day, 15:10 judgments of God. 15:12 He said, "They're falling in the land." 15:13 Are the judgments of God falling in the land today? 15:15 You better believe it. 15:16 See, if we don't understand this, 15:18 or we've never heard, it's time that we did. 15:21 These things that's going on in the world, 15:23 God's trying to get what? 15:25 Your attention, my attention. 15:28 God is merciful and kind to continue to keep, 15:31 you know, reminding us of His soon coming. 15:34 The Book of Joel calls for sinners to repent. 15:38 Do we need that today? Absolutely. 15:41 It talks about the coming of Jesus Christ. 15:43 Should we be talking about that? 15:45 Our blessed hope 15:46 is the coming of Jesus, is it not? 15:49 You know, if it isn't, it needs to be. 15:52 It needs to be because He is coming, 15:54 whether you're ready or not. 15:56 And how wonderful to be able to say, 15:58 you know, by the grace of God, I'm going to be ready. 16:02 The spirit is being withdrawn. 16:04 Joel talks about spirit's being withdrawn. 16:06 We look at today, the Spirit of God's 16:08 being withdrawn from the earth. 16:09 That's why all this, the messes are taking place in the world. 16:14 The effects are falling upon man, 16:16 and they're falling upon nature, 16:18 they're falling upon the beast. 16:20 That's effects of sin. 16:23 The Book of Joel calls for reform. 16:26 And this church, like all other churches 16:29 need a reform in my opinion. 16:31 There's nothing wrong with a reformation, 16:33 there's nothing wrong with reform, 16:35 we need it to be formed more into the what? 16:38 Image of Jesus Christ, to be more like Him. 16:41 Listen, the reason I believe that Christ hasn't come already 16:44 is because He's looking for people 16:45 that their character is 16:47 perfectly fully reproduced in Him, right? 16:50 Reproduced in us, He will come again. 16:53 He's looking for people that are ready. 16:55 Evidently, we're not quite ready yet. 16:59 It makes sense 17:00 or He would already have come, is that right? 17:02 When His character is what? 17:04 Fully perfect and reproduced, then He will come. 17:09 And so there are some changes or things 17:11 that maybe need to take place. 17:12 And so Joel talks about this reformation, 17:15 it talks about reform. 17:16 They're talking about seasons of prayer, 17:18 talking about time of repentance. 17:21 And then I like it because he really goes 17:23 into this thing 17:24 called the promise of the Holy Spirit. 17:26 See, these are things we can relate to today. 17:28 And he mentions, I love it. 17:30 He mentions the early rain and the latter rain. 17:33 How desperately we need that early rain, 17:35 how desperately we need that latter rain, 17:38 the importance of it. 17:40 And you realize today, you talked to a lot of people, 17:42 they never really heard of the early rain 17:43 or the latter rain? 17:45 How desperately we need that power of the Holy Spirit. 17:49 Let's put it in a nutshell quickly, 17:51 even though we're talking about Solemn Events: 17:54 Blow the Trumpet in Zion. 17:55 This is a solemn event, 17:57 the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, 17:58 of the latter rain experience that 17:59 we so desperately need. 18:02 The early rain, 18:03 just getting in a nutshell here, 18:05 when applying it to the Christian Church. 18:08 You say, "Well, we won't apply it 18:09 to the Christian Church." 18:11 The early rain then represents 18:12 the outpouring of the Holy Spirit 18:14 on the day of what? 18:15 Of Pentecost. Do you remember? 18:17 I still get goose bumps 18:19 when I read the Book of Acts, 18:21 of things that so happened in the church, 18:23 and the people were so on fire for God. 18:28 Changes were taking place. 18:30 There was no like sleeping, 18:32 and oh, we got all kind of time. 18:35 There was an urgency about it like there is today. 18:39 And we realize this work will end 18:42 with a greater outpouring of the Spirit. 18:44 So what we see and we loved right was, 18:46 read Acts Chapter 2, 18:48 oh, everything is going on the whole Book of Acts. 18:50 We can realize that God says 18:52 it's going to be greater and we can be a part of that. 18:54 How wonderful. 18:56 And then the latter rain comes to do what? 18:58 It's to ripen, I like that. 19:00 It ripens the people of God for heaven. 19:03 Early rain was simply 19:05 just accepting Jesus as Lord and Savior, 19:06 giving our life to Him. 19:07 Isn't that right? 19:09 And living the life of sanctification. 19:10 God said, "I'm gonna send the latter rain, 19:12 I'm going to equip the people 19:14 because there's so much ahead." 19:15 Unless the Holy Spirit's really living in the heart 19:18 and them mind they're not going to make it. 19:20 It ripens the grain, you know that 19:21 we may be ready, you know, and completed. 19:25 This is the work of grace 19:26 in the heart in the lives of us. 19:29 I'm thankful for grace, aren't you? 19:31 I'm thankful for the grace of God. 19:32 The reason we're here today 19:34 is because of the grace of Jesus Christ. 19:37 Remember, it's essential that we receive the what? 19:40 The early rain, right, in order to receive what? 19:45 Did the latter rain. 19:46 Now remember the latter rain 19:48 will only be received by those 19:49 who have gained victory over every besetment. 19:53 That's why in our church, we have messages 19:55 and the Bible presents victory over sin. 19:58 Instead to go do the best you can, 20:00 and it'll be all right that 20:01 the Bible never talks like that. 20:05 We serve a God who's big enough 20:07 to give us that victory. 20:08 Holy Spirit will lead us into all truth, 20:11 will empower us, you see, 20:14 that changes can take place in our life. 20:17 Hebrews 12:1, it talks about 20:19 those sins which does so easily beset us. 20:23 I wanna come to a point in my life 20:25 where sin doesn't so easily beset me. 20:27 Come on, church, do you see what I'm talking about? 20:29 And sometimes it's so easily, right? 20:31 Mama bought burnt the toast and so the day is ruined. 20:36 You follow me. 20:37 Can be these little simple things sometimes, 20:39 but it just ruins the whole day 20:41 and the kids are all upset and they go school up, 20:43 you know what I'm talking about. 20:44 But everything that besets us, victory over sin. 20:47 So latter rain then simply gives power. 20:49 We're not gonna spend much time power 20:51 to proclaim the third angel's message. 20:54 Isn't it sad nowadays that many people 20:56 have never heard the first, 20:57 second third angels' message, 20:59 the three angels' message of Revelation 14. 21:03 Remember, that's the last warning message 21:05 that goes to this world before Jesus comes. 21:08 It's a warning against 21:09 receiving the mark of the beast, isn't it? 21:12 It's a warning to go back to the one 21:13 who made heaven, earth, and the sea 21:15 and all that in the midst. 21:16 And if you do that, you will go back to creation, 21:18 you will go back to the Sabbath, 21:20 you know that. 21:21 The judgment hour to really realize that 21:23 you're living in the judgment hour, 21:25 and you have for many, many years now, 21:27 and one of these days, God's gonna say that's it. 21:30 That's all she wrote. 21:32 No one will ever come to him again. 21:34 That's proven in Scripture. 21:35 How about the time of the flood? 21:37 There came a time that the door was shut, nobody else came in. 21:41 And that time is right now, we need to be so careful. 21:46 And we need that latter rain experience 21:47 to be praying for it because it gives us power. 21:50 And it gives power to the ones that God is calling out. 21:54 God has the people in every church, 21:57 every denomination, God has those 21:59 who are living up to the light that they know. 22:02 And He said I'm calling them what? 22:04 Second angel's message to come out of Babylon, 22:07 come out of her, My people, 22:08 and be not partakers of her sins. 22:12 And so the Lord is going to equip 22:13 these individuals who are coming out, 22:15 the honest hearts who accept the truth, 22:18 so they may continue on. 22:22 The latter rain experience 22:23 is going to equip the saints to stand 22:26 when the seven last plagues are poured out. 22:29 A lot of people say, "We don't worry about that." 22:31 The biggest lie. 22:32 The devil is a liar today. 22:35 Do you believe it? 22:36 He's a liar and the truths not in him. 22:38 That give a counterfeit to say, 22:39 well, when things get tough we won't be here. 22:41 That is a lie from the devil. 22:44 All you have to do is go to the Word of God 22:45 and find out when everytime 22:47 something difficult happened to His people, you know, 22:50 just took them out of the way just, 22:52 they didn't have to go through it. 22:53 No, that every time they had to go through it 22:55 but He said, "I'll be there with you." 22:57 Oh, how wonderful, a lot of illustration 22:59 we can go into, we had time today. 23:01 That means the time is coming 23:03 when we must live in the sight of a holy God 23:05 without a mediator, it means probation will close. 23:10 What if it closed today? 23:12 How do you stand with God? 23:14 How do I stand? 23:16 Joel brings out some things here 23:18 that we must look at as time that we have. 23:22 He brings out, I like it, some physical signs, 23:25 some physical signs that we can, 23:27 you know be looking at today 23:29 that accompanies the day of the Lord. 23:33 I like it when it says the day of the Lord. 23:36 Joel's not the only book, so I find some truth here. 23:39 You may say, well, only Joel's talking about. 23:41 No, Joel talks about it, Amos talks about it, 23:44 Ezekiel talks about the day of the Lord, 23:46 Zephaniah talks about the day of the Lord, 23:48 Zachariah talks about the day of the Lord, 23:51 Jeremiah talks about the day of the Lord, 23:52 Isaiah talks about the day of the Lord, right? 23:55 Peter talks about, right, the day of the Lord. 23:58 Man, I'm talking about, 23:59 that's just the beginning of it. 24:02 How wonderful that is. 24:04 There's some consistency here and the Word of God saying 24:07 we need to be aware 24:08 and careful about the day of the Lord. 24:10 It's coming. It's coming. 24:14 Listen, all of this stuff you say is kind of bad news. 24:16 I'm gonna bring you good news. 24:18 There's bad things out there, 24:20 but there's a bright future for God's people. 24:22 There's a bright future 24:24 for the people of God that are ahead. 24:26 Now how do I know this? 24:27 Because I read something in Joel 2:28, there's just, 24:31 there was one word there 24:32 and I got excited about that one word. 24:36 I don't need two or three chapters. 24:39 I don't need 100 words. 24:40 You know what I'm talking about. 24:41 One word kind of got me excited 24:43 because I looked into it and the word was 24:46 Joel 2:28 said afterward, 24:51 afterwards, 24:54 that means all this stuff's gonna be taken away. 24:55 We're going to be going through 24:56 some things but he said afterwards 24:59 and you look at that word, it just is talking about it. 25:01 It's an indefinite time period but afterward only God knows. 25:07 You remember, God's plan was always to bless Israel, 25:12 isn't that right? 25:13 And He made so many promises to them. 25:15 They made a covenant together, 25:16 God said, "I'm going to bless you, 25:18 I'm gonna cause you to ride 25:19 on the high places of the earth." 25:20 You know, isn't that wonderful? 25:22 Today, He says that as His people, 25:24 and you want to ride on low places, forget it. 25:28 You know, we talk about the head and the tail. 25:31 God never intended you to be the tail. 25:33 He said to be the head, are we still with it? 25:36 Because you ride on the high places 25:38 what He says, 25:39 and you can do that if you choose the blessings, 25:42 but then there's so people 25:43 who still can't quite get it the head. 25:45 I encourage you to study on these issues 25:48 because you look at the promises 25:49 that God made to Israel in the Old Testament, 25:52 they failed miserably. 25:53 They did not keep the covenant with God, 25:55 and God could not keep the promises. 25:57 You see, they broke 25:59 the covenant promises, didn't they? 26:00 So now the promises that He made to ancient Israel, 26:03 He makes to the New Testament Church now. 26:06 Are you part of the New Testament Church? 26:07 You should be. 26:09 Think of all those beautiful promises 26:11 He's talking about? 26:12 Remember, they've been transferred over 26:14 from the ancient Israel of Old Testament 26:16 into the New Testament Church. 26:19 Man, it's a bright future 26:20 there if we just follow God and do the right thing. 26:24 Acts Chapter 2, we'll read that in just a moment here. 26:28 I mean, it's just, Peter was talking here 26:33 and he's talking about Joel's prophecy. 26:35 So somebody said, well, you're in the Old Testament now. 26:37 You know, some of us need to get with the program. 26:41 We need to get with the program, 26:42 because they'll say, oh, that's Old Testament stuff. 26:46 My Bible said all scripture is given by inspiration of God. 26:51 Well, you know, who took God off the throne, 26:53 and you're gonna sit in the place of God. 26:55 Now, I want to challenge you with that. 26:56 You see that's what happens. 26:58 We say, well, that's Old Testament. 26:59 Well, all scripture is given by inspiration of God. 27:02 What I do, tear this out 27:03 because I don't like it and leave this and do that. 27:05 You see, we can't do that, so all scripture is good. 27:08 So Joel talks about signs of the times, 27:11 things, solemn events that's going to take place, 27:14 things that have already taken place, 27:16 historically that tell us that 27:19 Jesus is soon to come if you've ever doubt it, 27:21 you won't the time we in today. 27:27 Acts 2:16-21, I said, we read just a moment. 27:32 Remember, Acts Chapter 2 27:33 was a partial fulfillment 27:37 of the day of Pentecost. 27:40 And instead of using the word afterward, 27:43 like Joel did, Peter uses the phrase in Acts 2:17. 27:48 Here's what he says. 27:49 Instead of afterwards, he says, in the last days. 27:52 In the what? 27:54 In the last days. 27:56 We have to believe as children of God, 28:00 that we're in the last days. 28:01 All that can be proven so easily for scripture. 28:04 You know many churches in the world 28:05 have billions of people 28:06 that never heard of 1798, 28:08 we believe, you know, 28:10 at the end of 1260 years, right? 28:14 Of the Dark Age, we'll talk a little more 28:16 about a little bit later on, 28:17 that began the last days of earth's history. 28:21 And then there are so many things 28:22 that pointed up to that. 28:26 It's going to reach its fulfillment, 28:29 we realize here 28:30 in the closing work of the gospel 28:32 as the Holy Spirit is pouring. 28:34 I just need to read Acts Chapter... 28:35 I'm just going to get excited about it. 28:37 Acts Chapter 2, because you'll say, 28:39 well, you're reading Old Testament, 28:40 or I'll just read New Testament 28:42 there if you want it, you want to see, 28:43 and see how closely it resembles 28:45 what we kind of read a while ago. 28:47 Acts 2:16-21 if you allow me to do, 28:51 I'll do the best I can. 28:52 Acts Chapter 2 what? 28:54 Sixteen now through 21. 28:56 Notice what it says, 28:58 "But this is that which was spoken 29:00 by the prophet," who? 29:02 "Joel." 29:03 We just been reading from Joel, right? 29:04 People question, they say, well, that's Old Testament. 29:06 Peter's going back in and he said, 29:08 man, here's what Joel said. 29:10 And you know what you can bank on what Joel said. 29:12 There's the Holy Spirit 29:14 that impressed Joel to write it down. 29:16 And now Peter is saying 29:17 that's what the Holy Spirit's impressed me, 29:19 and I'm going to write it down the New Testament. 29:20 He said, "It shall come to pass in the last days, saith God." 29:23 It's going to come pass when? 29:25 Good. 29:26 "In the last days, 29:28 I'm going to pour out my Spirit upon," what? 29:29 "All flesh." 29:31 He's going to pour out His Spirit 29:32 on those who want His Spirit. 29:34 Isn't that right? 29:35 He's not going to force it on you. 29:36 If we're just lazy and we don't want the spirit, 29:38 you're not going to get it. 29:39 If you're not seeking for it, you won't get it. 29:41 If you're not praying for it, you won't get it. 29:43 If you're not studying, 29:44 you're not gonna, is that clear enough? 29:46 Okay, then I'll move on. 29:47 Notice what it says, I want to clear. 29:49 It's got to be clear because whenever you go this place, 29:51 say, well, I'm all confused. 29:53 You wanna be confused right here. 29:54 I pour my Spirit on the flesh, your sons and your daughters 29:57 will prophesy, your young men shall see what? 29:59 Visions and your old men shall dream dreams, notice, 30:02 and all my servant and on my handmaidens, 30:05 I'll pour out, what? 30:06 In those days my Spirit, and they shall what? 30:08 Prophesy. 30:10 Notice this, this is one of the keys 30:11 we'll be talking about more as we go. 30:12 And he said, now I will show wonders 30:15 in the heavens above, 30:17 signs in the earth beneath, blood, fire, vapor of smoke, 30:23 notice, and the sun shall be what? 30:25 Turned into darkness and the moon into blood, 30:29 notice before what? 30:31 The great and notable day of the Lord. 30:33 What does it say? 30:34 There's going to be some signs 30:36 that people can see that take note off. 30:39 And we must look at these things and to see, 30:41 wow, if those things have happened. 30:45 That tells us how close we are to the coming of Jesus. 30:49 Peter said exactly what Joel said, 30:51 there's going to be signs in the sun, 30:53 and in the moon, and in the stars. 30:57 To me, that's just exciting to realize that God loves us 30:59 so much that He's pinpointing it. 31:01 He's putting it here so we can clearly see 31:04 and put a little time frame 31:05 with it too if you'd like to do that. 31:08 So the warning comes to us, blow the trumpet in Zion. 31:13 Joel 2:1 says that means is signal, 31:18 somebody signal that the day of the Lord is at hand. 31:22 Who's going to give a signal? 31:23 You know what signal could be, 31:25 you don't have to get up and preach a sermon. 31:26 You don't have to run around the block 10 times. 31:28 You know, it's just simply live the life 31:30 by the grace of God. 31:32 Let somebody see that Jesus lives in your heart. 31:35 Now that's a witness right there. 31:37 That's a signal that the Holy Spirit 31:39 is working in your heart and in your life. 31:42 He said, "Blow that trumpet in Zion." 31:45 Zion, I want to think about a term 31:46 that can remind me of the people of God. 31:49 Place where Jerusalem is located on the mount there. 31:54 The message is simple. 31:55 Listen, it never changes. 31:57 I don't want, ever want to change 31:58 from this pulpit here. 32:00 It's simply the message 32:01 which says blow the trumpet in Zion 32:02 is saying wake up church. 32:04 See we think that we are awake most of the time. 32:07 Almost everybody you ask a Christian, well, we're awake. 32:09 We're ready for Jesus to come. 32:10 Really, are we? 32:12 Do you have the mind of Christ? 32:13 Do I have the mind of Christ? 32:15 Have I gained victory 32:16 over all these things in my life 32:17 or do I still have weaknesses? 32:19 Does the devil take the mind sometimes? 32:20 Does he take the eyes sometimes? 32:21 Does he take this sometimes? 32:23 Thoughts and so on so forth? 32:24 Are we really like Christ 32:26 who never sinned even in thought? 32:28 Come on church, you don't. 32:31 Let's not try to criticize 32:32 or horsewhip anybody, is simply look at it. 32:35 Are we really ready for the coming of Jesus? 32:38 Why? 32:40 Because you know, 32:41 and John in Revelation talk about it. 32:43 He said, there's a people 32:44 in the last days that feel rich, 32:46 increased with good and they have need of nothing. 32:50 Yes, most church members, I'm ready for Jesus to come. 32:56 I'm ready for Jesus to come. That'd be nice. 32:59 We need to be careful, take heed lest we fall. 33:02 By the grace of God, 33:03 I want to be ready when Jesus shall come. 33:06 We need to have that assurance, 33:08 we need to know we have that relationship. 33:12 That's why we're careful as Adventists 33:13 that we don't say, we're saved. 33:15 We say we want to be 33:17 in a saving relationship with Christ 33:19 because it's ongoing. 33:20 While they're still alive, isn't that right? 33:22 That means while they're still alive, 33:24 that means we might turn our back on God sometime, 33:26 millions have done it. 33:30 Wow. 33:32 Are we rich and increased with good, 33:33 we have need of nothing? 33:35 Others, I've heard people say this, 33:37 they'll say you know what? 33:38 I do feel a need. 33:42 I feel a need but you know what? 33:45 They're too sleepy to be bothered. 33:47 They're grouchy. 33:49 Just like a person 33:50 who's trying to get a little cat nap 33:52 and you wake them up, they get a little grouchy. 33:55 They might say a little something 33:56 that's sharp if you wake them up. 34:00 I like to think in terms I'm gonna use this word. 34:01 I think it's in the dictionary, 34:03 if it's not, it's too bad, stupefied. 34:09 There's people today who are stupefied. 34:12 All that simply means is that they're unable to think. 34:17 They're unable to think things. 34:18 There's too many other things 34:19 in their mind that's blocking out 34:21 what should be important, 34:22 and they just can't think anymore. 34:24 They're groggy. 34:27 I'll try to say this nicely. 34:29 If you ever tried to reason with a person who's drunk? 34:32 Not trying to criticize anybody what to do you do. 34:34 I'm just saying. 34:36 You can't. 34:37 The mind is groggy. 34:39 The mind just cannot separate that 34:42 which is good and bad. 34:45 That's what happened when we're stupefied. 34:49 And they'll say, well, 34:50 when the latter rain falls, my needs will be supplied. 34:54 Don't you fool yourself? 34:55 That's never going to happen 34:56 when you sit back on your laurels and do nothing. 35:01 You didn't get that 35:02 when you sat back on your backside. 35:04 If that's not clear enough, I could use some other. 35:09 See sometimes, I'm thinking, Brother Will, 35:12 sometime we need a little clearer, 35:13 sharper words so that 35:15 we can really relate to what's going on here 35:18 because this is not a game. 35:20 This is not wasting time. 35:22 This is wasting time, you get up 35:23 and waste your time on Sabbath, 35:25 you're not preparing for the coming of God. 35:26 You can't see in your mind that Jesus said, 35:28 I'm coming quickly. 35:29 And there are so many changes that need to take place 35:31 and I need to stay close to Him, 35:32 I need to be studying, I need to be witnessing, 35:34 I need to be praying more than ever before. 35:38 There are conditions to receiving the latter rain. 35:41 And I say today, praise God, grace is still offered. 35:44 Probation door is still open, 35:45 you can still get in before it's too late. 35:49 Don't push it, right? 35:50 Don't push it. 35:51 That door's gonna shut 35:53 one of these days and it's all over. 35:54 The work of repentance, the work of reformation, 35:57 to cleanse the soul from every defilement of sin. 36:02 That's why Joel said 36:04 he's calling for the priest 36:05 and the ministers of the Lord 36:08 to weep between the porch and the altar. 36:11 Do you realize weep 36:12 between the porch what it really means? 36:14 When you're talking about the earthly sanctuary 36:17 weep between the porch and the altar 36:18 is where the sacrifice was brought in. 36:22 He said we need to go out there with a sacrifice. 36:25 We know a sacrifice 36:27 who is Jesus Christ, isn't that right? 36:28 We accept that sacrifice and then what? 36:30 Then things begin to change. 36:32 It says the porch and the altar. 36:34 That means the altar was where altar sacrifice 36:37 is where forgiveness took place. 36:39 That's the plan of salvation 36:40 there was just clearly rolled out 36:43 for us to understand. 36:45 When that sacrifice, 36:46 that lamb came in, they had to kill it. 36:48 Without the shedding of blood there's no remission. 36:51 There's no remission of sin. 36:53 Jesus is the Lamb. 36:54 Praise God for that. 36:56 You know, we need to be crying, Lord, spare thy people. 36:59 I wonder how many of them, pastors are praying right now, 37:01 oh, God spared the flock that You have loaned to me. 37:06 I feel a responsibility 37:07 for everybody that comes across that threshold, 37:09 may not be able to do anything about, 37:10 there's a responsibility, 37:12 I guess, remember back 20 and 30 years 37:14 that people come across the threshold. 37:16 Many of them went on to say 37:17 by the grace of God and began to work for God, 37:19 and many of them went back to the world, 37:21 but you don't forget them. 37:24 You studied with them. 37:25 You've labored with them. You've cried with them. 37:26 You've laughed with them, you baptized them. 37:29 And then they, 37:30 some reason they take their eyes off of Jesus. 37:32 Spare the people Lord. 37:34 The little book Six Testimonies 408 says it, 37:37 see if it doesn't relate for today. 37:40 I know I'm gonna try to 37:41 get to three very important things that happened, 37:43 we'll do them quickly but stay with me. 37:45 Six Testimonies 408 says this. 37:49 "The restraining Spirit of God 37:51 is even now being withdrawn from the world." 37:54 Now, you'll say well, how is that? 37:56 How do I know what tells me that it's happening? 37:59 The article goes on and says, "Hurricanes, and storms, 38:03 and tempests, and fire and flood, 38:06 disasters by sea and land, 38:09 follow each other in what? 38:11 Quick succession, 38:13 notice what this says right here. 38:15 Now, just stay with me for a moment. 38:17 The article goes on and says, science, come on church, 38:21 "Science seeks to explain all of these signs." 38:26 Science does what? 38:28 Are you getting it? 38:30 I jotted a little something I thought was very interesting. 38:32 Now, praise God for science, 38:33 we look at it try to balance it all up. 38:35 I'm not, all the science there. 38:38 Sometimes I want to see about 38:39 because I hear today things are going on. 38:41 And, well, the science involved 38:42 tells you have to do this and that. 38:44 Well, somebody has lied through their teeth. 38:47 There's not some science behind 38:49 some of the stuff that they're advocating out there 38:50 that there is science. 38:52 And so when it says science is behind this, 38:55 I want to look some things up. 38:56 So I said, I'm going to look at one example. 38:58 You know why I questioned science 39:01 and it didn't go very deep 39:02 but a couple of lines here, it says right here. 39:04 And I found something on NASA. 39:06 I look up at NASA and some of the weather 39:08 and different thing nasa.gov comes up with this. 39:11 Notice this, it says, 39:12 talking about earth's climate has changed. 39:16 Okay, where's the science behind that? 39:19 Because I've heard about the science behind the mask. 39:21 I've heard about science behind the vaccine. 39:23 I've heard about the science. 39:24 Are you still with me? 39:25 This article here written 150, 160 years ago, 39:28 you see what I'm talking about here? 39:30 Science seeks to explain the hurricanes, 39:32 and the storms, and the tempests, and floods, 39:34 and all the disaster by land and sea and air, 39:37 but they're giving us something else. 39:39 So I'm saying what does the science say here? 39:43 It started out this way I read. 39:44 I didn't count the words but I don't know 39:46 I'll do 10 or 15 words and I'll just stop. 39:49 And I'll tell you 39:50 why because it starts out this way here. 39:52 Science says about the climate so and so. 39:55 It says earth's climate has changed. 39:58 I'm gonna read on. 39:59 Okay, now here's what it says. 40:01 Throughout history, 40:04 just in the last 650,000 years, 40:11 I stopped reading. 40:13 Well, why should I read on? 40:15 The science behind 40:17 what they were all talking about here 40:19 and kind of change. 40:20 It said they go back 40:22 and they're covering 650,000 years. 40:26 And really you study a little bit about 40:28 common sense based on the Word of God. 40:31 The earth is about 6000 years old. 40:33 Is that true? Absolutely it is. 40:36 Absolutely, it is. 40:37 Now, there may be all kinds of stuff 40:38 that is here before the foundation of the world. 40:40 I'm not talking about that 40:42 when God made it for man to live. 40:44 So when I read 650,000 years ago, time, 40:48 I said, that's the science 40:50 and I'm forced to base all of this stuff on. 40:54 Okay, maybe that's enough, I'm just gonna put that up. 40:58 You see what I'm talking about? 40:59 I don't care if it says science says what, 41:01 I'm going to check it out by the Word of God. 41:04 "Science seeks to explain 41:07 all of the signs thickening around us, 41:09 telling us the near approach of the Son of God." 41:11 Notice what's there, 41:13 "They attributed them 41:14 to anything other than the true cause." 41:17 They attributed anything 41:18 but what the real cause of it is. 41:20 The cause is because God is allowing it to happen, 41:23 to try to get your attention and mine. 41:25 Notice this, men cannot discern 41:27 the similar angels restraining the four winds, 41:30 remember in Revelation 7, isn't it? 41:32 The four winds, that they should not blow 41:35 until the servants of God are sealed in there what? 41:38 Do you realize how many people 41:40 by the millions have never ever read that? 41:42 They don't know about the sealing of God's people? 41:44 They don't know about 41:45 the mark of the beast or the mark of the enemy. 41:47 Remember if God has a seal for His people, 41:49 the devil has a seal for his people 41:51 because he has a counterfeit for every truth. 41:53 Does that make sense? 41:54 If God has it, oh, God has a day 41:56 He wants you to worship on, 41:58 the devil has a day he wants you to worship on. 42:02 It either is or it isn't. 42:03 The enemy said, God says my people 42:05 they'll be, you know, they're gonna be like me. 42:09 And the enemy says, my people are gonna be like me. 42:13 You have a choice. 42:14 And that's it, you can be. 42:16 But when God shall bid His angels loose the winds, 42:20 there will be such a scene of strife. 42:23 No pen can picture. 42:26 You can't even write it out how bad it's going to be. 42:29 God have mercy 42:30 on a lazy sleepy church if that be. 42:34 Here's another warning, Six Testimonies 408 said this. 42:38 Could the curtains be rolled back? 42:40 I don't know if you can stand it. 42:41 I don't know if I could stand it. 42:44 If the curtain has rolled back, and we just saw tomorrow, 42:47 let alone what's going to happen. 42:48 So it'd be too much for some of us 42:50 because there'd be maybe death 42:51 and disease and disaster 42:53 that we're just trying to make it through today. 42:55 And that's all God says to do, isn't that right? 42:57 Just take today, don't worry about tomorrow. 42:59 Tomorrow takes thought of itself, 43:02 sufficient unto today is the evil thereof, 43:04 what the Bible says. 43:06 Could that curtain be rolled back? 43:09 You would discern the purposes of God. 43:13 The judgments that are about to fall upon the doomed world. 43:17 It's going to get more already. 43:18 We're already having them right now. 43:20 Notice, could you see your own attitude, 43:25 you would fear and tremble before your own souls? 43:29 If we could just really 43:30 see our own attitude and how we're... 43:32 We think we're just going to humble bumble jumble around 43:35 until Jesus come and fumble around and stumble into heaven. 43:38 We need to think again. Is that okay? 43:42 I mean, there needs to be 43:43 some humbling before God, there needs to be 43:45 some weeping and crying between the porch 43:46 and the altar to get ourselves right. 43:49 And most of the time in Adventism, 43:50 we don't even have an altar we come to. 43:52 We never have an altar call people 43:54 come up and pray. 43:55 Man, you know, we need some more 43:57 of this stuff to get down and say, you know, God help me. 44:02 He's wanting to roll it back just a little bit 44:03 so you can see and I can see, 44:05 if we did, we'd see ourself and I'd fear and I tremble 44:11 because I can't see that 44:12 He sees anything good in me, but He does. 44:16 He sees something good in you. 44:18 He sees the finished product. Praise God. 44:21 Earnest prayers of heart-rendering anguish 44:25 would go up to heaven. 44:28 You would weep 44:29 between the porch and the altar, 44:31 confessing your spiritual blindness 44:33 and backsliding. 44:36 Once we learn some of these truths 44:38 that we have learned and we studied the Bible about 44:40 with Sabbath keeping and whatever back. 44:42 We think we're going to 44:43 get into heaven as Sabbath breakers, 44:45 I almost say it this way, you're out of your mind. 44:47 Can I say that? 44:49 I say those things because I love everybody. 44:52 I want to get people stirred up a little bit 44:55 because they actually think that we can just, you know, 44:57 well to kind of how we feel about it. 44:59 Well, God specifically lays down what He says. 45:03 He said don't do your own pleasure 45:04 on My holy day. 45:06 You call the Sabbath a delight. 45:07 Don't say oh my, and speaking your own words 45:10 and doing your own things on My holy day. 45:14 So you think He's just gonna look 45:16 the other way and say, 45:17 well, you went and did all these things. 45:18 Well, come on up anyway. 45:20 No, no, it's a matter of being obedient. 45:22 We found that all through scriptures, you read it, 45:24 Adam and Eve, right? 45:26 One point, what happened? Out of the garden. 45:29 Right, Lucifer as it were, right, wanted to be like God, 45:32 out of heaven. 45:33 I mean, just look at the things. 45:38 Moses, what a man of God to put up 45:41 with all the whoo stuff he put up with, right? 45:45 One instance when he hit the rock one instead 45:48 and God said speak to it. 45:49 He hit the rock, rock represents Jesus Christ. 45:51 And he said, you can't go 45:53 into the land of milk and honey, 45:55 you're going to die right here. 45:57 You think after all he had done 45:58 for all the 40 years of backsliding, 46:01 mumbling, griping people. 46:05 God expects us because he has send 46:08 the Holy Spirit give you power and give you strength, 46:10 that we can be more than conquerors. 46:12 You know, right now in ministry. 46:16 I see eight minutes. 46:20 Oh, I'll hear about it later, she'll tell me. 46:22 You didn't even get to the three solemn warning. 46:31 Well, if you really look at those solemn warnings, 46:33 the thing right there 46:35 is you'll find that the Bible says very, 46:37 very clearly that there's going to be 46:39 an earthquake, you remember that? 46:41 And you look at the Lisbon earthquake, 46:42 and so on and so forth right there. 46:44 And then, you know, that's in 1755. 46:46 So you can find and then it says, you know, 46:48 the sun becomes dark. 46:50 Do you remember those? 46:53 What happened we realized during the Reformation, right, 46:56 like many beautiful truths came out, 46:58 but then all of a sudden people begin to lose their vision. 47:02 The Protestant begin to lose their faith. 47:05 And God said something's going to have to take place 47:06 because there's going to be religious revival 47:08 is going to break loose. 47:09 That His coming. 47:11 We have 1843, 1844 message, papal persecution, 47:16 the Dark Ages of 538 to 1798. 47:20 And despite this reformation, what happened? 47:24 The light went out. 47:26 And God said, I'm going to call My people back 47:28 because there's going to be 47:29 something that's going to take place. 47:30 The judgment hour is coming. 47:33 But doctrines of the Bible been put down 47:36 and tradition began to take over. 47:38 And how do we know that these things? 47:40 Because Matthew 24:29 says this, 47:43 "Immediately after the tribulation of those days 47:48 shall the sun be darkened." 47:49 What? 47:51 Immediately after tribulation of what? 47:53 The Dark Ages 538 to 1798, immediately after that, 47:57 and about 25 years 47:59 before that persecution pretty much stopped. 48:01 So God was sending signs to say, 48:04 things are going to be shaken up a little bit here, 48:06 this great earthquake. 48:08 And then he goes on said, 48:09 the moon shall not give her light 48:11 and stars shall fall from heaven. 48:13 The power of the heaven shall be shaken. 48:16 What are the powers of heaven? 48:17 The sun, the moon, and the stars. 48:20 When he says earth, he means earth, 48:21 when he means the heavens, he means the heavens. 48:24 But he says he's going to shake the earth first. 48:26 When he shake the earth that's going to be war 48:28 and rumors of war and sword 48:30 and famine and pestilence. 48:33 We're seeing that, and I tell you, 48:35 we're going to see more of it. 48:37 Prophecy tells us why Jesus come, 48:42 why He came in real signs and tokens. 48:45 Jesus said in Luke 21:25 quickly note what he said, 48:49 "There shall be signs in," what? 48:51 "In the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars." 48:54 Mark 13:24, I'm reading them quickly. 48:56 26, "The sun shall be darkened 48:59 and the moon shall not give her," what? 49:01 Her light, the stars of heaven shall fall, 49:02 the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken. 49:05 And then shall you see the Son of Man 49:07 coming in the clouds of glory." 49:09 John in Revelation 6:12 described 49:11 the very first sign. 49:13 He said, signs will come before Jesus return. 49:15 There will be a great earthquake. 49:17 The sun will become black as sackcloth of hair, 49:19 the moon shall become as blood. 49:21 Jesus talked about it. 49:23 Mark talked about it. Matthew talked about it. 49:24 John talked about it. Joel talked about it. 49:26 Peter talked about it 49:28 and talking to the Old Testament. 49:29 So it's got to be truth right here. 49:31 Solemn events, signs. 49:33 1755 was that first sign caught in the wide world web. 49:37 You look it up the britannica.com 49:40 states this, a magnitude, 49:42 talking about the Lisbon earthquake. 49:44 It shook a greater part of Europe, Africa, America, 49:47 Sweden, and Norway, so in Great Britain and so on. 49:51 It was an 8.59 was the most destructive earthquake 49:56 in European history. 49:57 It cut and it covered 49:59 approximately 4 million square miles. 50:02 Then encyclopedia Americana, that's the 1831 edition, 50:07 makes a statement and talking about Lisbon 50:09 is that a shock of the earthquake 50:11 was so instantly followed 50:12 by the fall of 50:18 every church, and convent, yeah. 50:21 It happened on a holy day, 50:24 the church and convent were full, 50:26 and very few escaped. 50:28 Almost all were killed. 50:30 Solemn event number two. 50:32 Now remember, it said immediately 50:33 after the days of persecution, we realized 1798. 50:35 So we realized 1755, about 25 years beforehand, 50:38 you know, it's pretty calm down. 50:41 And all of sudden God sent the sign why? 50:42 Because the judgment hour is commencing, 50:44 the three angels' message is getting ready to come out. 50:47 1844 you know, in the 2300 days, 50:50 a lot of things were beginning to happen in this country 50:52 and religious people 50:53 were awakening to studying prophecy. 50:55 Solemn event number two happened 50:57 25 years later, 50:58 it was the darkening of the sun and the moon, remember? 51:01 Mark 13:24 said, "In those days after that tribulation, 51:05 the sun shall be darkened, 51:07 and the moon shall not give her light." 51:08 Did that really happen? 51:10 Sure, after 1260 years of persecution, 51:13 May 19, 1780, this is leading us 51:16 up to you can start relating to 1780, 51:18 isn't that right, 1755, 1780 prophecy 51:21 was fulfilled, called the dark day in history. 51:24 Joel 2:31. 51:27 Joel prophesied this thing happening 51:30 2500 years before it happened. 51:32 Interesting. 51:34 This took place when he said, 51:35 "The sun shall be turned into darkness, 51:36 the moon into blood, before the great 51:38 and terrible day of the Lord." 51:41 You can read more and more and more and more on that. 51:43 The third solemn event and sign that 51:45 we need to realize that 51:46 puts us where we're at is it happened, 51:48 it said the stars... 51:50 Matthew 24:29, "The stars shall fall from heaven." 51:54 The stars shall fall from heaven. 51:55 Revelation 6:13. 51:56 John said in Revelation, 51:58 He saw it and said scenes that tell of the day of the Lord. 52:02 He said the stars of heaven fell into the earth 52:04 even as a fig casteth her untimely figs. 52:07 These are things that 52:08 we need prophecy filled, November 13, 52:10 1833, you realize how close, why? 52:13 Because 1844 was just around the corner, isn't that right? 52:17 Think about it, the end of the 2300 days. 52:21 Remember, the giving of the three angels' message, 52:24 the judgment hour. 52:25 Man, all kinds of things were going. 52:27 This was just a short 10, 52:28 maybe11 years before this took place. 52:30 Jesus is sending signs and said this is it. 52:33 The third one that Jesus, 52:34 Jesus just mentioned three, 52:35 we're already there 1833, right? 52:39 Those times that we can start relating to 52:41 and here's what they said, 52:42 there's the people who wrote them down, 52:44 we got just a minute I'll read it as fast as I can. 52:45 This is called from a book Great Events 52:47 of the Greatest Century. 52:49 It said, "It was the most extensive 52:50 and wonderful display of falling stars, 52:52 which has ever been recorded." 52:54 Things I'm talking about here 52:55 you can find in worldly newspapers 52:57 and encyclopedias and all this kind of stuff 52:58 so it's nothing well, 53:00 you folks gonna dug all this up. 53:01 It had such an impact on the world that people 53:04 were reading about it. 53:06 And talking about in December 13, 1833, 53:08 an article here from the Christian Advocate 53:10 in Journal says, speaking of the stars, 53:12 he said they were shooting forth, notice this, 53:14 with a velocity of lightning, 53:17 every part of the horizon 53:19 and yet where they were not exhausted, 53:21 thousands swiftly followed in the tracks of thousands, 53:24 as if created for the occasion. 53:27 Interesting that's the last, 53:29 the third sign that Jesus gave to disciples. 53:31 Here's what He says 53:32 most important in Matthew 24:33. 53:35 He said, when you see these things, 53:37 when you see these signs, know that is near what? 53:41 Even at the door. 53:44 The time is here. 53:45 Jesus is soon to come. 53:47 He's not playing games 53:49 with any of us, as you will know. 53:51 He's wanting to come back. 53:52 There's work that we need to be doing. 53:54 We know that as God's people, 53:56 commitments that we need to make to be more like Him. 53:59 And God has all the preparation to say, 54:01 I'll give you all kinds of signs. 54:03 They're solemn, blow the trumpet, 54:04 warn the world that I'm coming. 54:06 Don't you see what's happening in the world today 54:08 is telling you that I'm coming soon. 54:10 He is our hope, He is our encouragement. 54:12 He's going to be our strength. 54:14 Let Him be that for you today. 54:15 I encourage you those who are at home, be sure. 54:18 Right now say, oh, Lord, I want to be among that number. 54:21 I don't want to miss heaven. 54:22 I want heaven to be my home. 54:24 Do you feel like that today by the grace of God?
