00:13 The topic today is "The Next President
00:18 and the Last President of United States of the World."
00:26 Before we talk about this today,
00:29 there are some big questions that you and I need to ask
00:32 and we need to answer.
00:36 If you're gonna be happy, who am I?
00:41 Who am I?
00:42 Am I the product of time plus matter plus chance?
00:52 Can life as Professor Dawkins from Oxford University says,
00:56 "Can life come from non-life?
01:00 Can knowledge, information come from chaos?"
01:06 Did you know that in the human body there are literally
01:10 trillions of cells?
01:13 Did you know that in each cell, you have the information
01:19 that is found in a library of 100,000 volumes
01:24 each of a thousand pages?
01:27 And he discovered this recently,
01:29 so I'm sharing it with you.
01:31 But did all this information,
01:34 where did this information come from?
01:38 The Russians, I've been to Russia many times
01:41 and spoken to millions of atheists.
01:44 And the Russians for almost 70 years were taught
01:47 that they were machines or animals.
01:50 So what am I?
01:52 Am I an animal?
01:53 Am I a machine
01:56 or am I something infinitely of more value?
02:01 Richard Dawkins said and you've all heard
02:03 of the great Professor Richard Dawkins,
02:05 the world's most famous atheist.
02:06 He said "That the best thing a person can do
02:09 as he approaches the end of his life
02:11 is to stand on the deck of the ship and salute.
02:16 Go down with the ship
02:18 because he said there is nothing after that."
02:22 Today we are going to explore life's biggest questions
02:26 and I want to read this statement to you
02:29 and I want you to get it down into the molecules
02:32 of your mind because it's of great importance.
02:36 "If genuine prophecy exists,
02:40 the main issues of our age are met."
02:44 Want you to think about this.
02:45 It's a philosophical question.
02:48 "If genuine prophecy exists,
02:53 then the main issues of life and of our age are met."
02:59 Because if there is genuine prophecy,
03:02 it shows that we are not alone in the universe.
03:05 It shows that there is a super mind
03:10 that can see into the future.
03:13 "The genuine prophecy exists,
03:15 the main issues of life are met."
03:18 The Quran is not a book of prophecy,
03:22 neither are the writings of the Hebrews scholars,
03:25 there is only one book that claims to tell the future,
03:30 that is this book here which is called the Bible.
03:35 And today we are going to notice
03:37 that amazing prophecy.
03:39 In fact, we are going to notice at least two prophecies,
03:44 amazing prophecies that as far as I'm concerned
03:48 and I think as far as you are concerned
03:50 after we are through here today you will say,
03:54 "Genuine prophecy does exist."
03:57 I want you to come in the Bible now
03:58 to the Book of Isaiah 13:19 and onwards,
04:04 the Book of Isaiah.
04:06 This book takes us back about 2,600 years.
04:11 Remember that date, it goes back to about 600 or 700 BC.
04:17 Isaiah 13:19.
04:21 I want all of you folks just to notice it.
04:24 We're gonna put it up here on the screen
04:26 and we are going to notice it in the Bible.
04:28 The Bible says, this was written about 600, 700 BC.
04:33 "And Babylon, the glory of kingdoms,
04:35 the beauty of the Chaldeans' pride,
04:37 will be as when God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah.
04:41 It will never be inhabited,
04:43 nor will it be settled from generation to generation,
04:47 nor will the Arabian pitch tents there,
04:51 nor will the shepherds make their folds there."
04:56 "The greatest days of Babylon were still to come
04:58 when this verse was written.
05:00 But wild beasts of the desert will lie there,
05:04 and their houses will be full of owls,
05:09 ostriches will dwell there,
05:11 and wild goats will caper there.
05:14 And hyenas will howl in their citadels, and jackals..."
05:19 "Remember the word jackal.
05:21 Jackals in the palaces.
05:23 Her time is near to come,
05:25 and her days will not be prolonged."
05:32 I've been to Babylon on many occasions.
05:35 It's in the old land Mesopotamia
05:37 that we call today Iraq.
05:40 Babylon was once the United States of the world.
05:43 It was the great super power.
05:46 It was a magnificent place.
05:49 This is as you would notice, this is the famous Ishtar Gate
05:53 named after the Mother Goddess.
05:57 And from here we get the ceremony
05:59 of the tradition of Easter.
06:02 The Ishtar Gate, and this great city was founded upon
06:08 the great river Euphrates that we are going to talk about
06:11 as we go along today because
06:13 Babylon was finally overthrown because of the River Euphrates.
06:19 The walls, the palaces were made of glazed brick.
06:24 It was the dominant power in the world
06:27 about 2, 600 years ago.
06:29 The most famous ruler
06:31 was King Nebuchadnezzar.
06:36 I want you to see something here.
06:39 You want to see just a little bit of magic.
06:41 You ready for this, it's not really, folks.
06:43 Want to see a little bit of magic?
06:45 What I'm gonna do, I'm gonna--
06:50 was that magic or is it not?
06:53 I'll tell you it was magic, it actually happened.
06:57 This contains the building list.
06:59 I took this in the British Museum.
07:02 It contains the building list of Nebuchadnezzar.
07:08 It talks about his arrogance
07:11 when he walked around the city and he said
07:14 "Is not this great Babylon that I've build for my glory."
07:18 And it is written down here in the strange letters
07:21 that we call the Cuneiform.
07:27 Now the years rolled by and some of you folks
07:29 will be aware of this from studying history.
07:33 The years rolled by, he died and after other years,
07:38 one of his descendents was a young larrikin
07:43 as they would say in island
07:45 or a waster by the name of Belshazzar.
07:52 Now for many, many, many years skeptics said
07:55 that Belshazzar did not exist
07:59 because in the Cuneiform it said
08:01 that the last king of Babylon was Nabonidus,
08:08 but it's an interesting thing that the Bible said
08:11 that the last king of Babylon,
08:14 the last king on the throne was Belshazzar.
08:20 And skeptics said for many, many years,
08:23 it is another evidence that the Bible is phony.
08:29 But then scholars, archeologists discovered this.
08:36 There it goes.
08:38 It says here.
08:39 Look at it, "The foundation cylinder
08:41 marking the restoration of the Temple of the Moon God
08:45 at Ur by King Nabonidus.
08:48 It ends with a prayer for him
08:51 and his son, Belshazzar."
08:56 And what actually happened was this
08:58 that Nabonidus got sick of it all,
09:00 he got sick of fighting congress in the senate
09:03 and he retired to the hill country
09:06 and his son took over the throne.
09:10 Now I want you to notice a very interesting text here.
09:14 I want you to come to Isaiah 45:1, my friends.
09:19 Isaiah 45:1
09:23 "Thus says the Lord to His anointed, to Cyrus,
09:28 whose right hand I have held to subdue nations before him
09:32 and loose the armor of kings,
09:33 to open before him the double doors,
09:36 so that their gates will not be shut."
09:40 I want you to think of this.
09:42 The Bible says come a man after Nebuchadnezzar
09:45 and his name was Cyrus
09:49 and he would be the person
09:50 who would overthrow the city of Babylon.
09:53 It says the gates would not be shut,
09:56 I want you to remember that.
09:58 This is interesting because
10:01 Cyrus did not operate until 150 years
10:07 after that text was written down by the prophet.
10:12 Did you know that?
10:14 This description of Cyrus by name
10:19 is written down in the Hebrew writings
10:23 more than 100 years before he was born.
10:29 And it says when Cyrus got to the place,
10:33 the gates would not shut.
10:36 Let me tell you, I got to tell you so much today.
10:40 Babylon was surrounded by tremendous walls.
10:44 I've been there in many occasions.
10:47 Four walls, total thickness of the wall
10:50 is about 80, 90, 100 feet.
10:53 And when the Medo-Persian army surrounded the city of Babylon,
10:58 they could not break down the walls.
11:02 But flowing through the heart of Babylon was this.
11:07 I want you to see this.
11:08 I want you to see this.
11:10 Gonna show it to you, here it comes the River Euphrates.
11:15 Now the story is told
11:17 and confirmed by one great historian
11:20 that when the armies of Cyrus saw that they could
11:24 not break down the walls,
11:27 they diverted the River Euphrates.
11:30 Now I want you to come in your Bible over here
11:32 to Isaiah 50:38, 39,
11:40 the Book of Jeremiah,
11:43 we are not talking about Isaiah.
11:45 We are coming over here
11:46 to Jeremiah 50:38, 39,
11:54 have you got that.
11:55 Jeremiah 50:38, 39 the Bible said,
12:00 "A drought is against her waters,
12:03 and they will be dried up.
12:05 For it is the land of carved images,
12:07 and they are insane with their idols.
12:10 There the wild desert beasts shall dwell there
12:15 with the jackals,
12:17 and the ostriches will dwell in it.
12:20 It will be inhabited no more forever,
12:23 nor will it be dwelt in from generation to generation."
12:26 History tells me, soldiers, Cyrus the Great,
12:31 diverted the River Euphrates and they actually marched down
12:35 the muddy banks into the River Euphrates
12:39 and they waited along the bed of the River Euphrates.
12:45 And when they came to the double gates
12:48 for the first time in Babylon's history,
12:52 the gates had not been locked.
12:55 Now you say to me,
12:57 "You know, I couldn't believe the Bible
12:59 because it's all faith."
13:00 We are not talking faith here today.
13:03 You want to hear what I'm saying.
13:05 We are not talking faith.
13:06 We are talking facts.
13:08 We are talking evidence.
13:10 This is not just pie in the sky in the sweet by and by.
13:13 We are talking evidence and facts now
13:16 and at the very same time that this was going on,
13:20 there was Belshazzar whose name is written down
13:23 in Nabonidus' inscription.
13:25 And then he was having this drunken feast
13:28 and the Bible tells me a bloodless hand came
13:32 and wrote on the wall of the palace
13:35 "mene, mene, tekel, upharsin."
13:39 And that was the end of the Babylonian Empire,
13:43 the Neo-Babylonian Empire
13:46 and then Babylon went down and down and down.
13:53 I have visited there many times.
13:56 On one occasion this is the Lion of Babylon.
14:00 In Bible prophecy Babylon is called the lion.
14:03 This is the Lion of Babylon
14:05 that you can see today in the city of Babylon.
14:08 Very hard to go there today.
14:10 When I was there was a television crew,
14:13 I went to Nebuchadnezzar's summer palace.
14:18 This is buddy my cameraman from Texas
14:22 and we climbed up into Nebuchadnezzar's summer palace.
14:30 Don't have time to tell you the story
14:32 but we were surrounded to seem by the Iraqi Army
14:36 and helicopter gunships over our heads.
14:41 We were carrying what looked like a bazooka.
14:45 It was a tripod, tripod case
14:48 and the colonel came to me he said,
14:49 "What on earth you're doing?"
14:50 "We told him what he said,
14:52 Well, you see the car over there
14:54 that's Saddam Hussein our president
14:59 and the CIA couldn't get close to him.
15:03 No, I'm telling you, he was over there.
15:06 They said, "What are you doing?"
15:08 We said, "We are here because we believe the Bible."
15:11 And another amazing thing happened when I was there.
15:15 In Nebuchadnezzar's summer palace,
15:17 we disturbed a little creature,
15:19 a jackal came running out of the ruins.
15:23 I stood there and I said to myself
15:25 "There is a God in heaven and the Bible is true.
15:28 "And I believe in the Bible not because
15:30 I was brought up to believe the Bible."
15:32 Want you to hear this.
15:34 I believe the Bible not because of blind faith,
15:38 I believe the Bible because of overwhelming evidence.
15:41 You hear what I'm saying today? Amen.
15:43 Now here you got it, there you got Nebuchadnezzar's palace.
15:48 This is where we met the soldiers of Saddam.
15:53 Along here Saddam came with his soldiers
15:58 and it is in the same,
16:00 in the same place that I disturbed a little jackal.
16:04 I want to tell you something today,
16:05 I have seen divine predictions fulfilled.
16:08 I believe in the Bible not because
16:11 I was brought up to believe in it.
16:13 I do not believe because of blind faith,
16:15 I believe in it because of the overwhelming evidence.
16:19 Amen.
16:20 You get it?
16:23 Well, now, we're going to talk about
16:27 the king's amazing dream.
16:30 The vision of the superman, okay.
16:37 Now I want you to come to the Book of Daniel.
16:41 This book was written we believe around 600 BC.
16:47 It's a very ancient book.
16:50 A portion of it was discovered in the Dead Sea Scrolls
16:55 and therefore we believe it goes back
16:57 many, many years before Christ.
17:01 Daniel 2:1-3 have you got it.
17:04 "Now in the second year of Nebuchadnezzar's reign..."
17:08 You say, "Sure there's a Nebuchadnezzar?"
17:10 Absolutely.
17:11 I've seen his name in the Cuneiform.
17:13 "Nebuchadnezzar had dreams, his spirit was troubled,
17:16 "so troubled that his sleep left him.
17:19 Then the king gave the command to call the magicians,
17:22 the astrologers, the sorcerers, and the Chaldeans
17:25 to tell the king his dreams.
17:26 So they came and they stood before the king.
17:29 And the king said to them, 'I have had a dream,
17:31 and my spirit is anxious to know the dream.'"
17:33 It is self explanatory.
17:35 The king has a dream, it's like a nightmare.
17:38 It scares the daylight out of him
17:41 and he asks for the magicians,
17:44 the spiritualists and the philosophers,
17:47 the smart guys to come and tell him all about it.
17:50 Now look at Daniel 2:4-11.
17:54 "Then the Chaldeans spoke to the king in Aramaic,
17:56 'O king, live forever!
17:58 Tell your servants the dream,
17:59 and we will give the interpretation.'
18:00 But the king answered and said to the Chaldeans,
18:02 'My decision is firm,
18:04 if you do not make known me to the dream
18:06 and its interpretation, you shall be cut in pieces,
18:10 and your houses shall be made an ash heap.
18:12 However, if you tell the dream and its interpretation,
18:15 you shall receive from me gifts,
18:17 rewards, and great honor.
18:18 Therefore tell me the dream and its interpretation.'
18:22 They answered again and said,
18:23 'Let the king tell his servants the dream,
18:26 and we will give its interpretation.'
18:28 The king answered and said,
18:30 'I know for certain that you would gain time,
18:32 because you see that my decision is firm,
18:36 if you do not make known the dream to me,
18:38 there is only one decree for you!
18:40 For you have agreed to speak lying
18:42 and corrupt words before me till the time has changed.
18:45 Therefore tell me the dream,
18:48 and I shall know that you can tell me the interpretation.'
18:51 The Chaldeans answered the king, and said,
18:54 'There is not a man on earth who can tell the king's matter,
18:57 therefore no king, lord, or ruler
18:59 has ever asked any such thing
19:02 of any magician, astrologer, or Chaldean.
19:05 It is a difficult thing that the king requests,
19:08 and there is none other who can tell it to the king
19:11 except the gods, whose dwelling is not with flesh."
19:17 Now let me tell you the story.
19:20 These men are shown to be what they are that they are phonies.
19:26 And so the king not being
19:28 a model of Christian charity says,
19:31 "We're gonna put them all to death."
19:35 Now listen to this.
19:38 In the wise man's union all these phonies,
19:44 they had placed a young man from Jerusalem
19:49 who had been brought to Babylon by Nebuchadnezzar
19:52 when he overthrew Jerusalem in 605 BC.
19:56 His name was Daniel
20:00 and he is the star of this presentation.
20:06 They come to kill Daniel, the soldiers do.
20:10 Daniel says, "Why is the decree so hasty from the king,
20:15 give me time."
20:18 So the king says, "Okay, give you time."
20:21 Daniel goes, the Bible says and he prays
20:25 and Almighty God tells him what the king dreamed.
20:30 Not only does the Almighty God tell him what the king dreamed.
20:36 Who can know another man's dreams?
20:40 But he tells the king,
20:42 tells Daniel exactly what it means.
20:49 Now listen,
20:52 as you've never listened before.
20:56 Want to tell you folk something.
20:58 You say to me, "You got a lot of confidence?"
20:59 Yeah, I sure have because I have seen things.
21:06 I have seen the leaders of atheism
21:11 in Russia and Ukraine say
21:16 "We have no answer."
21:22 Would you be the judge, please,
21:26 and would you notice chapter 2 verse 24 to 28
21:32 in this book that is 2,600 years old
21:37 Daniel 2:24 onwards,
21:41 "Then Daniel went to Arioch,
21:44 whom the king had appointed
21:45 to destroy the wise men of Babylon.
21:48 He went and said thus to him,
21:49 'Do not destroy the wise men of Babylon,
21:52 take me before the king,
21:54 and I will tell the king the interpretation.'"
21:57 Then Arioch quickly brought Daniel before the king,
22:00 and said to him, 'I have found a man of the captives of Judah,
22:04 who will make known to the king the interpretation.'
22:07 The king answered and said to Daniel,
22:08 whose name was Belteshazzar,
22:12 'Are you able to make known to me the dream
22:15 which I have seen, and its interpretation?'
22:17 Daniel answered in the presence of the king, and said,
22:20 'The secret which the king has demanded, the wise men,
22:24 the astrologers, the magicians, and the soothsayers
22:27 cannot declare to the king.
22:30 But there is a God in heaven who reveals secrets,
22:37 and He has made known to King Nebuchadnezzar
22:41 what will be in the latter days.
22:45 Your dream,
22:47 and the visions of your head upon your bed, were these."
22:53 Now listen carefully, look at me.
23:01 I believe the Bible not because of blind faith.
23:06 I was not brought up in a cloister or in a church.
23:13 I've met people who say, "Why do you believe the Bible?"
23:17 They say, "Well, I just believe."
23:20 That is a nonsense statement,
23:23 unworthy of anybody with any brain at all.
23:27 No wonder the skeptics and the atheist laugh
23:32 but I believe my, friend, because not of blind faith
23:38 but because of the evidence.
23:41 Now today, I've proven to you
23:46 that there is such a place as Babylon.
23:48 Once upon a time skeptics derived
23:50 that there was even a Babylon.
23:52 We know that there isn't was a Babylon.
23:56 We know today, it is in the very state
23:58 that the prophet said it would be in,
24:01 it is a hailing wilderness and a desolation.
24:05 I know that, I have seen that.
24:07 I have seen divine predictions fulfilled.
24:10 We know that there was a Nebuchadnezzar.
24:14 We know that. This is not faith.
24:16 Don't talk to me and say it is all airy-fairy.
24:20 No, no, no. It is the truth.
24:22 His name is written down in the inscriptions.
24:25 We know that there was a Belshazzar.
24:29 We know this.
24:30 We know that he was the son of Nabonidus.
24:33 We know this.
24:37 And we know that there was a Cyrus.
24:40 In the British Museum, I had the privilege
24:43 of going and inspecting.
24:45 We had it on the screen before, I'm not gonna put it up now.
24:51 It went past so fast because I forgot.
24:54 But in the British Museum, there is this beautiful,
24:58 beautiful, beautiful cylinder.
25:02 It talks about Cyrus
25:04 and how Cyrus defeated his enemies
25:08 and the Babylonians and how he let the people go free.
25:12 It's all written down.
25:14 You see...
25:18 It is written in the Bible
25:20 and it is written in the inscriptions
25:24 and mine eyes have seen the glory.
25:29 Now, what we are gonna do is this.
25:33 This is the Cyrus cylinder.
25:37 There it is, the Cyrus cylinder that actually talks about
25:43 his mighty exploits as in the Bible now.
25:49 Next time the story of the superman
25:55 and the history of the world
25:59 and the next president of the United States of the world.
26:12 I have just come from Russia via Switzerland
26:16 and I'm now in Kiev, the capital of Ukraine.
26:20 This place has got huge memories for me
26:24 because back in '95 we ran a campaign in the city
26:28 and in spite of terrific opposition,
26:31 by the grace of God we baptized
26:33 3,530 precious souls
26:38 in the Dneiper River.
26:40 I'm back here today because I believe that
26:43 we need to take care of the people we baptized.
26:47 I don't believe it's right to baptize people
26:50 and then to walk away
26:52 and to leave them literally in the cold.
26:56 When I read my Bible,
26:58 I find where the Apostle Paul went back
27:01 time after time
27:02 to visit the people that he had baptized.
27:06 And so I'm back here today for the 43rd time
27:11 in Russia and Ukraine together to visit the people.
