00:13 Topic today is
00:15 Dark Deeds of Antichrist Revealed, 00:17 this is part 2. 00:19 We're going to tell you now 00:20 how the great antichrist church 00:23 actually changed the law of God 00:27 and deceived a whole wide world. 00:29 Please take your Bible and turn with me to Daniel 7:25. 00:35 Dear hearts and gentle people, 00:36 Daniel 7:25, it says, 00:40 "He shall speak, this is the great church, 00:43 he shall speak pompous words against the Most High, 00:47 Shall persecute the saints of the Most High, 00:50 And shall intend to change times and law. 00:56 Then the saints shall be given into his hand 00:57 for a time and times and half a time." 01:01 Now look at me. 01:03 When the Bible says that this pseudo Christian power 01:08 will change the times and the law, 01:12 it means the times of God. 01:17 It means the law of God. 01:19 Never, never forget it. 01:21 The antichrist will change the times of God 01:25 and the law of God. 01:29 I want you to take your Bible 01:30 and come over here to Exodus 31:18, 01:34 and we're gonna talk a little bit 01:36 about the law of God, the Ten Commandments 01:40 written by the finger of God, spoken with a mouth of God. 01:43 Exodus 31:18, 01:46 "And when He had made an end of speaking with him 01:48 Moses on Mount Sinai, 01:50 He gave Moses the two tablets of the Testimony, 01:54 tablets of stone, written how? 01:57 Written with the finger of God." 02:01 Must be pretty important. 02:03 So Almighty God comes down in fire and flame, and majesty, 02:09 and He talks to His servant Moses 02:12 and He gives him 02:14 the Ten Commandments, the testimony. 02:17 The Bible says, 02:19 He wrote them with His own finger 02:21 and He spoke them with His own mouth. 02:24 I wouldn't want to try 02:26 to change the commandments of God. 02:28 Would you? 02:29 Now come over here to the New Testament, 02:31 Romans 7:7. 02:35 Romans 7, come fast, 02:38 I got a lot of stuff to share with you, 02:40 Romans 7:7, 02:43 dear hearts and gentle people. 02:44 Roman 7:7, 02:46 "What shall we say then? 02:48 Is the law a sin? 02:49 Certainly not! 02:51 On the contrary, 02:52 I would not have known sin 02:54 except through the law. 02:56 For I would not have known covetousness 02:59 unless the law had said, 'You shall not covet." 03:04 ' Listen to this. 03:06 You want to be saved? 03:08 Well, you can't be saved unless you know what sin is, 03:11 because unless you know what sin is, 03:13 you won't want a savior, you see. 03:16 And the Bible says, you wouldn't know what sin was 03:19 except for the law of God. 03:23 And it's talking here about the Ten Commandments 03:27 because it quotes the tenth commandment 03:30 to make it very, very plain to us. 03:32 I want you to know this. 03:35 The Ten Commandments 03:37 are the foundation of civilization. 03:41 If you don't have the commandments, 03:44 you got nothing but chaos. 03:47 I was brought up 03:48 in the great old Church of England. 03:51 And when we go along to church, 03:54 the priest will stand up the front 03:56 and he'd say to the Anglicans, 03:59 a great church that gave us this Bible. 04:03 He'd read all the commandments, every one of the commandment. 04:06 "You shall have no other gods before me." 04:08 And the congregation says, "Lord have mercy upon us 04:11 and incline our hearts to keep this law." 04:14 Then he come down to the fourth commandment, 04:16 "Remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy." 04:19 And the congregation would cry out to the priest, 04:22 Lord have mercy upon us 04:24 and incline our hearts to keep this law. 04:27 Don't let anybody tell you that it is a strange idea 04:32 that we should keep the commandments of God. 04:35 The commandments of God 04:37 have been the foundation stone of civilization. 04:41 Let me ask you a question. 04:43 Has any church the authority 04:47 to change the law of God? 04:50 Say it loud. No. 04:52 No, well, come over here, that's good answer. 04:54 Deuteronomy 4 04:55 and then everybody would say that answer. 04:57 Deuteronomy 4:2, 05:01 the Bible says, God says, 05:03 "You shall not add to the word 05:04 which I command you, nor take from it, 05:07 that you may keep the commandments 05:08 of the Lord your God which I command you." 05:10 God says, 05:13 don't take from My Word, don't add to My Word, 05:18 so that you'll keep all the commandments of God. 05:21 It is high blasphemy and rebellion against God 05:25 to take away His commandments, remember this. 05:29 Now I'm going to tell you something, 05:31 you may not know this. 05:35 In Exodus 20 we have the Ten Commandments 05:38 given by Almighty God. 05:43 Now that church on the whole doesn't teach from the Bible, 05:48 but teaches from the catechism. 05:53 More than a billion people on the world 05:55 are not taught the commandments as found in the Bible, 05:58 but the commandments as found in the catechism. 06:02 Did you know that? 06:03 So what we're going to do today is 06:06 we're going to put up the words of the catechism on one side, 06:10 and on the other side 06:12 we're going to put up the words of the Ten Commandments. 06:18 Would you like to see this? 06:19 Come to Exodus 20:3, come fast. 06:24 Exodus 20:3, the words of God, 06:27 "You shall have no other gods before Me." 06:30 And the Roman Catholic catechism says, 06:32 "You shall not have strange gods before Me." 06:35 Basically the same. 06:36 The second commandment, Exodus 20:4-5, 06:42 "You shall not make for yourself a carved image, 06:44 any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, 06:47 or that is in the earth beneath, 06:49 or that is in the water under the earth, 06:51 you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. 06:54 For I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God." 06:57 So the second commandment as found in the Holy Bible 07:01 given by the hand of Almighty God says, 07:03 "You shall not make for yourself a carved image, 07:06 you shall not bow to them nor serve them." 07:10 But when we turn to the catechism, 07:12 it is a fact which cannot be disputed 07:15 that commandment that forbids 07:17 the making of images is omitted. 07:21 This is a fact. 07:23 The commandment that forbids idolatry is missing. 07:26 Now come to Exodus 20:7. 07:31 Third commandment, 07:32 "You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain." 07:35 But look at the catechism, commandment 2 in the catechism. 07:40 You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain. 07:43 And people say this indeed is very confusing. 07:46 Now there's a reason for this, 07:49 because the Church of Rome is taken out of the catechism, 07:52 the second commandment 07:53 that forbids the making of images. 07:57 I read on and I will prove the point to you 07:59 as we go along. 08:01 The fourth commandment Exodus 20:8-11, 08:05 "Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. 08:06 Six days you shall labor and do all your work, 08:09 but the seventh day 08:10 is the Sabbath of the Lord your God." 08:12 Come to verse 11, 08:13 "For in six days 08:14 the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, 08:16 and all that is in them." 08:17 That commandment number four in the Bible is 08:20 remember the Sabbath day, 08:22 but in the catechism 08:23 that is not commandment number four, 08:25 it is commandment number three 08:27 because number two was taken out, 08:29 and it says nothing about the Sabbath, 08:31 it says remember to keep holy the Lord's Day, 08:34 but it is true 08:35 because the Sabbath is a Lord's day. 08:37 And notice the fifth commandment please. 08:41 Exodus 20:12, 08:44 "Honor your father and your mother." 08:47 There it is commandment number five, 08:49 and in the catechism it says, 08:50 Honor your father and your mother, 08:52 it is commandment number four. 08:53 Because the Church of Rome 08:55 basically has now only nine commandments, 08:58 but I'll show you how they made ten. 09:01 Now look at the sixth one, 09:03 Exodus 20:13, 09:05 "You shall not murder." 09:06 There it is, commandment number six. 09:08 In the catechism it is said, commandment number five, 09:11 you shall not murder. 09:13 Basically the same. 09:14 It's plain as anything. 09:16 Now we come to commandment number seven. 09:19 Notice this commandment number seven 09:22 and it is verse 14, 09:24 "You shall not commit adultery." 09:26 That is the seventh commandment, 09:28 there it is, number seven, 09:29 but in the catechism it says, 09:31 you shall not commit adultery, 09:32 it's number six. 09:33 Now you come to the next commandment 09:36 which is number eight. 09:39 Verse 15, "You shall not steal." 09:41 And in the Bible that is the eighth commandment, 09:44 in the catechism it is number seven. 09:47 And then you come down to the next verse 16, 09:51 "You shall not bear false witness 09:53 against your neighbor." 09:55 You see that, that's verse 16. 09:57 What commandment is this? 09:58 This is commandment number nine, 10:00 but in the catechism it is commandment number eight. 10:03 Now you come to the tenth commandment 10:05 in the Bible. 10:07 Exodus 20:17, 10:10 "You shall not covet your neighbor's house, 10:12 you shall not covet your neighbor's wife, 10:15 nor his male servant, nor his female servant, 10:17 nor his ox, nor his donkey, 10:19 nor anything that is your neighbor's." 10:21 And so in the holy Bible 10:24 you have one commandment number 10 10:26 and it talks about coveting. 10:28 But the Church of Rome, it's got a problem. 10:30 They left out the second commandment, 10:31 therefore they have nine commandments 10:33 and this is how they make up to ten. 10:36 Number nine you shall not covet your neighbor's wife. 10:38 Number ten, you shall not covet your neighbor's goods. 10:42 And so there is no question at all to the unbiased mind 10:46 that the great Church of Rome 10:48 did change the commandments of God. 10:53 I want to talk about the foundation stone 10:55 of all happiness security in meaning. 10:57 It is a truth 10:59 that we are the children of a loving creator God. 11:03 We were made by God, we're distinct and glorious. 11:06 But if you forget God 11:08 all is chaos as happened in Russia. 11:11 I've been there 45 times, 11:14 and I can never forget 11:16 one the great characters of Russia 11:17 whose name was Alexander Solzhenitsyn, 11:20 one of the greatest Christians of the 20th century. 11:25 The communist and the atheist 11:27 put to death about 50 or 60 million people, 11:31 torture them to death. 11:32 And on one occasion Alexander Solzhenitsyn 11:35 was being tortured. 11:37 And he said to the women communist 11:38 who was torturing him, stop, the pain is so intense. 11:42 She said, 11:45 "When you're making an omelet, you've got to break eggs." 11:49 She said, "We're building a great state 11:51 and therefore the individual doesn't matter 11:53 a great deal at all." 11:55 The same philosophy today 11:57 is being taught in American universities 12:00 that the individual doesn't really matter, 12:02 it's the state that counts. 12:05 But there is a commandment that tells me, 12:07 remember the Sabbath day because God made you. 12:11 And if God made me, I know where I came from, 12:14 I know why I'm here and I know where I'm going. 12:18 Now come back to Daniel 7:25 please. 12:21 Back to Daniel 7:25 in the word of God. 12:27 Daniel 7:25 says, 12:30 "He shall speak pompous words against the Most High, 12:33 Shall persecute the saints of the Most High, 12:35 And shall intend to change times and the law. 12:40 Now look at, look here at the screen. 12:43 The Bible says that the antichrist church, 12:47 this pseudo Christian power 12:50 that looks in the garb of religion. 12:54 This power would think himself so powerful 12:57 that he could actually change the commandment 12:59 that spoke about the times. 13:04 Now one thing is very, very plain. 13:09 When the Bible says 13:11 that this power would change the times and the law, 13:14 it is very plain 13:17 that something has been changed. 13:20 The Bible tells us to keep the Sabbath, 13:24 but the vast majority the times of human kind, 13:26 the vast majority of people at every church 13:29 no longer keep the Sabbath of the Bible. 13:32 It has been changed, 13:34 and people will say to me with some sense of sincerity, 13:37 but this may be so 13:39 and we don't know how it changed it, 13:42 but we do it in honor of the resurrection. 13:46 And of course, there is no text in the Bible 13:48 that tells us to keep Sunday in honor of the resurrection, 13:51 no text at all. 13:53 But the question that we must resolve right now is this, 13:56 here it is. 13:58 Which day is the Sabbath of the Lord our God? 14:03 Which day is the Sabbath of the Bible? 14:05 Which day is the Sabbath of Christ? 14:08 Which day is the Sabbath of the fourth commandment? 14:11 Now come with me to the text. 14:12 Come with me here to Luke 23:52 and onwards, 14:17 dear hearts and gentle people. 14:18 Luke 23:52 14:24 and onwards, the Bible says, 14:28 "This man went to Pilate..." 14:30 What day was this? 14:31 This was the day when Jesus died. 14:34 "This man went to Pilate 14:35 and asked for the body of Jesus. 14:37 Then he took it down, wrapped it in linen, 14:40 and laid it in a tomb that was hewn out of the rock, 14:42 where no one had ever lain before." 14:45 The Bible says that day was the preparation. 14:48 Jesus died on the preparation day. 14:52 That's what the Bible says. 14:53 And it says, "The Sabbath drew near. 14:56 And the women who had come with him 14:58 from Galilee followed after, 14:59 and they observed the tomb and how His body was laid. 15:02 Then they returned and prepared spices and fragrant oils. 15:06 And they rested on the Sabbath according to the commandment." 15:09 Those people believed in keeping the Sabbath. 15:12 They believed in keeping the commandment. 15:13 You know why? Jesus taught them. 15:16 Now the next verse says, Chapter 24:1, 15:20 "Now on the first day of the week, 15:21 very early in the morning, 15:22 they, and certain other women with them, 15:24 came to the tomb 15:25 bringing the spices which they had prepared." 15:27 But hallelujah, 15:29 Christ had been raised from the death, 15:31 you see. 15:32 But you've got here three days 15:37 and we're going to put them up 15:38 so that you can see the three days. 15:42 This is so plain. 15:44 A blind man could see it. 15:46 I mean, how plain can you get. 15:48 Number one, 15:49 Jesus died 15:51 on what Christians called a Easter Friday, Good Friday. 15:56 Yeah, the Bible calls it the preparation day. 15:58 It was a day when people 16:00 actually you see prepared for the Sabbath. 16:02 So Jesus died on Friday, 16:05 Good Friday 16:06 and the Bible says that our blessed Lord 16:08 rose from the death on the first day of the week. 16:10 There is no doubt about that, 16:12 Jesus rose from the dead on the first day of the week. 16:16 And the Bible says 16:18 that the day between the Friday and the Sunday 16:22 is a certain day. 16:24 And the Bible tells me exactly what this day is, 16:27 it is the Sabbath day... 16:30 the seventh day. 16:31 Now people say time has been lost. 16:33 No, no, no, can't, you can't say that. 16:35 People say no, but nobody can tell. 16:37 Oh, yes, you can. 16:38 Yes, you can. 16:40 Go and read any encyclopedia. 16:41 The day between Friday and Sunday 16:44 is the Sabbath of Almighty God, 16:47 and it is the day that Jesus Christ kept, 16:53 and the holy disciples. 16:55 And the Bible says, they kept the Sabbath 16:58 according to the commandment of Almighty God. 17:04 Now listen, 17:05 I'm gonna give you a great truth 17:06 obscured for centuries but not lost. 17:09 Come over here to Genesis 2:1-3, come on. 17:13 Genesis 2, back to the book of beginnings, 17:17 Genesis 2:1-3 in the scripture, 17:24 and the Bible here talks 17:25 about the first Sabbath, Genesis 2:1-3, 17:31 "Thus the heavens and the earth, 17:32 and all the host of them, were finished. 17:34 And on the seventh day 17:35 God ended His work which He had done, 17:37 and he rested on the seventh day 17:39 from all the work which He had done. 17:41 Then God blessed the seventh day 17:43 and sanctified it, 17:44 because in it He rested from all His work 17:46 which God created and made." 17:50 So this text, here it is. 17:51 Number one, the Bible tells me, 17:53 God gave us the Sabbath 17:55 and God put a blessing on the Sabbath. 17:57 God blessed the seventh day. 18:00 I want you to know this. This is what the Bible teaches. 18:02 And because of the fact that God made me, I'm special. 18:06 I know where I came from, 18:08 I know why I'm here and I know where I'm going. 18:10 Now come over now to Mark 2:27 and 28, 18:15 Mark 2:27 and 28, 18:17 "And He said to them, 18:19 "The Sabbath was made for man," 18:20 man doesn't spell Jew, 18:22 "The Sabbath was made for man, 18:24 and not man for the Sabbath. 18:25 Therefore the Son of Man is Lord of the Sabbath." 18:30 The Bible tells me, 18:31 that the seventh day Sabbath 18:32 was made for the whole of the human race, 18:35 not just for the Jews. 18:38 Now I want you to look at Revelation 1:10, 18:41 the last book in the Bible, 18:43 and it tells us that God has a day. 18:47 Revelation 1:10, 18:51 the Bible says, 18:52 "I was in the Spirit on the Lord's Day, 18:56 and I heard behind me a loud voice, 18:58 as of a trumpet." 18:59 People say well, any day counts. 19:02 No, no, no, no, no. 19:04 The Bible says there is a day 19:06 that is dedicated to Almighty God. 19:10 It talks about the Lord's Day. 19:12 If you come now to the Book of Isaiah 58:13, 19:17 it tells us my friend what day is the Lord's Day. 19:22 Isaiah 58:13, 19:24 "If you turn away your foot from the Sabbath, 19:27 From doing your pleasure..." 19:29 What does it say? "My holy day." 19:32 That means it's the Lord's Day. 19:34 "And call the Sabbath a delight, 19:36 The holy day of the Lord honorable, 19:38 And shall honor Him, not doing your own ways." 19:42 And it goes on, talks about other things too, 19:44 but it actually calls the Sabbath, 19:47 My holy day. 19:50 Jesus Christ, our blessed Lord 19:54 risked his life and His mission 19:57 to show the importance of the Sabbath. 20:01 Jesus did all sorts of special miracles 20:03 on the Sabbath day. 20:06 He did away with ceremonies, 20:07 couldn't care less about ceremonies, 20:09 but Jesus risked his life and his mission 20:12 to show us the importance of the Sabbath. 20:14 Because the Sabbath tells me 20:16 I have a Father who made me, you see. 20:19 I'm made in the image of God. 20:23 But the antichrist never liked the Sabbath. 20:27 The question is, who changed the day? 20:29 Some people say God? Don't think so. 20:32 Jesus? Don't think so. 20:35 The apostles? 20:36 No, I don't think so. 20:37 The antichrist. 20:40 The Bible says, 20:41 he shall think himself able 20:43 to change the times and the law. 20:45 Look at me. 20:47 There is only one commandment in the law 20:49 that talks about times. 20:52 Not the one about adultery or any of those things. 20:55 It's the one about the Sabbath. 20:58 When it says the times and the law, 21:01 it means the antichrist 21:02 will actually attack the Sabbath. 21:05 Now I want to take you some quotations, 21:08 some quotations 21:09 that have been made by some great theologians 21:13 in the Protestant Church 21:15 and also in the Roman Catholic Church. 21:17 The first one is from a great Baptist preacher. 21:21 "There was and is a commandment to keep holy the Sabbath day, 21:25 but that Sabbath day was not Sunday... 21:27 Where can the record of such a transaction be found? 21:30 Not in the New Testament, absolutely not... 21:33 I quite well know that Sunday did come into use 21:37 in early Christian history as a religious day... 21:40 But what a pity that it comes branded 21:42 with the mark of paganism, 21:44 and christened with the name of the sun God, 21:46 when adopted by the papal apostasy, 21:49 and bequeathed as a sacred legacy 21:51 to Protestantism!" 21:52 That's the statement from the Baptist. 21:55 Now we're gonna give you some statements 21:57 from the leaders 22:01 of the great Roman Catholic Church. 22:05 "I have repeatedly offered $1,000 to anyone 22:08 who can prove to me from the Bible alone 22:10 that I'm bound to keep Sunday holy. 22:12 There is no such law in the Bible. 22:14 It is a law of the holy Catholic Church alone. 22:17 The Bible says, 22:18 Remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy,' 22:21 The Catholic Church says, 'No. 22:23 By my divine power I abolish the Sabbath day 22:26 and command you to keep holy the first day of the week. 22:28 'And lo! 22:29 The entire civilized world bows down 22:31 in a reverent obedience 22:33 to the command of the holy Catholic Church." 22:37 Father Enright. 22:40 Here's another statement, there're so many of them. 22:42 "The Catholic Church 22:44 for over one thousand years 22:46 before the existence of a Protestant, 22:49 by virtue of her divine mission, 22:52 changed the day from Saturday to Sunday." 22:54 The Catholic Mirror. 22:58 Why does she say this? 22:59 Because she's being honest. 23:02 Look at this, here's another one. 23:03 Question: What Bible authority is there 23:06 for changing the Sabbath 23:07 from the seventh to the first day of the week? 23:10 Who gave the pope the authority to change a command of God? 23:16 Answer: 23:17 If the Bible is the only guide for the Christian, 23:20 then the Seventh-day Adventist 23:21 is right in observing the Saturday 23:23 with the Jew. 23:25 But Catholics learn 23:26 what to believe and do from the divine, 23:29 infallible authority established by Jesus Christ, 23:33 the Catholic Church." 23:35 They say yeah, 23:36 we don't just even follow the Bible. 23:38 We have a greater authority, it is the church. 23:42 Here's another statement. 23:44 Question: Which is the Sabbath day? 23:47 Answer: Saturday is the Sabbath day. 23:49 Question: Why do we observe Sunday instead of Saturday? 23:52 Answer: We observe Sunday instead of Saturday 23:56 because the Catholic Church, in the Council of Laodicea, 23:58 transferred the solemnity from Saturday to Sunday." 24:03 He shall think himself able 24:06 to change the sacred times and the law of God. 24:11 Here's another statement. 24:12 They're so amazing, so honest, so frank. 24:16 Question: Have you any other way of proving 24:18 that the Church has power 24:20 to institute festivals of precept?
