00:43 Right now we're gonna be making
00:44 something called a broccoli and corn salad.
00:47 And we gotta a little special ingredients
00:49 that we gonna adding to it as well.
00:50 So what's going on, Chef Law?
00:51 How are you doing, Chef? I'm wonderful, man.
00:53 How are you guys doing out there?
00:54 So we gotta get going.
00:56 Let's go and get started today if we can?
00:57 All right, well, we get going on.
00:58 Why don't you go and read the recipe for us?
01:00 All right, let's read it.
01:01 Today we're gonna use:
01:18 Ooh, now we're talking about something good, huh?
01:20 We have lot of ingredients in here.
01:21 So we have, we kind of,
01:22 I like to say we have like a hybrid here,
01:24 we're gonna saute some items,
01:25 then we got some fresh items.
01:27 Some fresh items.
01:28 Okay, so we're gonna mix it together
01:29 and layer our salads, it's gonna be so delicious.
01:31 So we're gonna get started.
01:32 Go and chop the onions up for me if you can, please.
01:33 All right. Chop the onions up.
01:35 I'll chop the onion. All right.
01:36 Chop those onions up.
01:37 So we're gonna saute these up just like that.
01:39 All right, so I'm gonna go ahead
01:40 right here on one side of my pan
01:42 I'm gonna put my corn, get the corn started,
01:43 just like that.
01:45 And that's gonna go ahead and start sizzling,
01:47 just like that.
01:49 All right, that's what I'm just talking about.
01:50 All right, so that's it.
01:51 That's all what I need actually,
01:53 that's all what I want, we gonna with that, yes, sir.
01:54 So I'm gonna go and take that, I don't want my hands
01:56 and I don't want my hands chopped off.
01:58 So I'm gonna go ahead now, put that onion just like that,
02:00 all right.
02:02 Let the onions saute. Okay.
02:04 Now what we have, we're gonna go ahead now
02:05 and chop our hotdogs up as well.
02:07 The hotdogs are gonna give that nice meat,
02:10 that nice meat flavor.
02:11 Flavor. You cant' make that meat flavor, man.
02:13 And hotdogs, it is very delicious.
02:15 Vegan hotdogs very healthy...
02:16 We want them chopped?
02:17 Chopped up nice slices, these nice slices on hotdogs...
02:19 Okay, slice that.
02:21 Exactly, nice slice, nice slice hotdogs so.
02:25 Come on now.
02:26 Okay.
02:27 What you're gonna do on that, man?
02:29 You know, what you're doing over this, Chef Law?
02:30 Little bit. Come on man.
02:31 Me and Nyse go way bit, a little bit.
02:33 Go ahead now, come on now.
02:34 And so again, on your salad,
02:36 lot of times you want some good proteins,
02:37 friends, and we have some good protein,
02:38 we put them right into our salad here with the meat so.
02:40 You're gonna actually chop them like this.
02:42 So you want them chopped up?
02:43 I'm sorry, I wasn't clear. It's all right.
02:44 So we're gonna chop just like that, friends,
02:46 very easy to do.
02:47 We're gonna throw these right inside of this pan right here.
02:49 All right.
02:50 So put the hotdogs on there, right.
02:51 And what I like to do is
02:53 I like to turn it up just a little bit, right.
02:54 Okay.
02:55 All right, and what we're gonna do, right?
02:57 We're gonna now put our,
02:58 and let the onions cook a little bit longer.
02:59 So they can nicely saute and we're gonna put the spinach
03:01 right on top of this, right?
03:03 Right on top, okay.
03:04 And what's gonna happen is that, from the heat of the,
03:07 you know, the heat that's coming out,
03:09 it's gonna kind of steam the vegetables then,
03:11 does that make sense?
03:12 Okay. All right. Just make it work in steam.
03:13 Exactly, work in steam exactly.
03:15 So I'm gonna move it out of the way.
03:16 All right.
03:18 We will now go ahead and start cutting our,
03:19 we can cut our lettuce up, if you don't mind.
03:21 Our lettuce and our broccoli, all right.
03:25 Cut our lettuce and broccoli up, if you can.
03:28 Just like that.
03:30 All right, y'all, this is looking so delicious,
03:32 we got our hotdogs in here,
03:34 we're mixing it all together now
03:35 that our hotdogs get lucent, caramelized and brown.
03:38 We got our onions mixed all in here.
03:40 This is gonna be good.
03:42 Oh, man, you know, man Chef Law,
03:43 you know, I don't know,
03:44 but you got more over here, brother.
03:46 Come on now.
03:47 Got to be a nice salad. Come on now, brother.
03:49 So go ahead and get me some broccoli stems going
03:50 if you can.
03:51 The broccoli florets I should say properly.
03:53 Some broccoli florets, if you don't mind.
03:54 All right. Get some broccoli going on over here.
03:56 All right.
03:57 And now what I'm gonna do, I'm gonna turn this down,
03:59 and this is looking just right, just right.
04:02 I'm gonna get the plate.
04:03 Okay.
04:05 And now what we're gonna do,
04:06 so go ahead and get those nice bite-sized chunks.
04:08 I'm gonna start layering this, friends.
04:09 This is gonna be, I'm telling you,
04:10 this is gonna be good.
04:12 I'm actually forgetting one last thing,
04:13 let me go and add my garlic inside of here.
04:14 Come on now, don't forget the seasoning.
04:16 I forget the seasoning, I got to have them right now.
04:17 Come on now.
04:19 Little bit of the Italian spice here.
04:20 Yes. We got the salt right there.
04:21 All right. All right. That's the real salt.
04:23 That's the real salt, that's it.
04:24 Not the fake salt. That's right, brother.
04:25 All right, we're gonna mix all that together.
04:27 All those flavors coming together just like that,
04:28 all right.
04:30 So what we're gonna do...
04:31 Okay.
04:33 Go ahead and add little lettuce in that plate for me,
04:34 if you don't mind, Chef Law.
04:35 All right, little bit of lettuce.
04:37 Just like that, brother.
04:38 Oh, y'all, you all know
04:39 we got going on over here, y'all.
04:41 Come on now.
04:43 That's it. Come on.
04:45 All right. Come on.
04:46 All right, now watch this, now watch this,
04:48 y'all, watch this, watch this.
04:49 Come on now, let me turn this off.
04:51 Yeah, okay. Just like that.
04:53 Come on, look at that.
04:55 Smell's hitting me from here.
04:57 Come on.
04:58 Delicious, that's good. That's what I'm talking about.
05:00 Yeah, that's good.
05:01 The meat on the top like that, come on now.
05:03 Man, it was so good.
05:05 The stove started to talk back.
05:07 Come on, y'all.
05:08 What about this broccoli here? Little broccoli right on there.
05:10 Okay.
05:11 Little bite-sized pieces not too big,
05:13 little bite-sized pieces.
05:14 Little small pieces.
05:15 Just little small pieces like that.
05:17 Friends, this is what I'm talking about.
05:18 This tasty delicious, good, that's what I'm talking about.
05:23 Now right here we got something and I'll you, friends,
05:24 that may be we got to taste a bite at that,
05:26 Chef Law, come on now.
05:28 Got a fork now here if I might get.
05:29 You have that.
05:30 There we go, let me get a fork right there, okay,
05:32 let's try this out.
05:33 Come on, y'all.
05:34 That's it, that's it.
05:36 The meat...
05:37 So, so delicious.
05:45 Well, friends, we're moving right along.
05:47 We just had a fun time in the kitchen
05:49 but we've come to the "F".
05:50 And you know what the "F" stands for.
05:52 The "F" stands for Faith.
05:54 And remember this, the Bible says what?
05:56 It says what?
05:57 "Faith cometh by hearing
05:59 and hearing by the Word of God."
06:02 So we're gonna go right to the Bible.
06:03 Today we're talking about commit our works unto the Lord.
06:07 Committing our works unto Lord,
06:09 and as we have been learning about eating healthy,
06:11 it is a work that we are doing.
06:14 But we have to realize again Jesus isn't the sinner,
06:17 He is the answer.
06:18 And we're gonna learn more about this today.
06:20 And again I have my good friend, again,
06:21 Chef Law, what's going on, Chef Law?
06:23 What's going on, Chef?
06:24 How you guys doing out there?
06:26 So we're talking today about committing our works unto Lord.
06:27 Committing our works unto the Lord.
06:29 Come on now, and so go ahead
06:30 and give us the scripture for today if you can.
06:32 Let's read the scripture, and let's see exactly
06:33 what this means, Proverbs 16:3 says,
06:35 "Commit thy works unto the Lord,
06:38 and thy thoughts shall be established."
06:42 That thoughts probably is kind of that extra blessing.
06:45 Come on now, you got to break this down for us.
06:47 "Thoughts shall be established."
06:48 Come on now, what we're talking about, Chef Law.
06:50 Well, that word commit
06:52 actually means to roll together,
06:54 and so, you have plans for your life
06:57 but you have to realize one thing,
06:59 God has plans for your life too.
07:01 And what God wants you to do is commit
07:03 or roll together the plans
07:05 He has so the plans that you and Him have
07:08 will be the same plans.
07:10 So you won't be working against God,
07:11 but that you'll be working with God
07:13 and His plans for you, because He is loving Father.
07:16 And like all parents
07:17 we want them what's best for our children.
07:19 Come on now.
07:20 So He wants what's best for you
07:22 and so He's mapped out the safest,
07:24 most peaceful and best path for you to follow
07:28 on your way to goal.
07:29 Come on, I like that rolling together
07:31 'cause you know, we like making those,
07:32 those good wraps, Chef Law,
07:33 you know what I'm talking about so.
07:35 And Chef Law was saying is that,
07:36 sometimes we have our plans
07:37 but we always know that God always has "The Plan"
07:40 but we want to, God doesn't say,
07:42 do this and do that.
07:43 God wants to hear from us, He wants us to talk with Him,
07:46 to treat Him as our best friend.
07:49 And understanding that we can, we can say, Lord,
07:52 I want my health to get better.
07:55 We know that's God's desire,
07:56 so obviously it's a part of His plan,
07:57 but God is gonna give us at time specific instructions
08:01 on how to accomplish that.
08:02 So we're talking about committing our works unto God.
08:05 What else can we learn form this, Chef Law?
08:06 We can learn exactly what we learned
08:08 from when we did the meal planning system...
08:09 Okay. That you have to have a plan.
08:11 That's right.
08:12 And so when you look at your life,
08:13 God wants you to make a plan,
08:15 that He wants you to take that plan to Him
08:17 and say, Lord, I need you to edit it as you want.
08:20 Come on now, edit it, I like that.
08:21 Here on Dare to Dream, we do a lot of filming here
08:23 at Dare to Dream.
08:25 And sometimes you got to edit some things up.
08:26 So that's control V, is that what you gonna say?
08:29 Sometimes some things got to get cut out...
08:30 Come on now.
08:32 And God is, and God is the heavenly editor.
08:33 Sometimes He's gonna cut some things out but He never,
08:35 He never takes anything away without putting something back.
08:38 Come on now, I like that.
08:40 So He always, He takes away to give us again what we need,
08:44 and that's an important point to remember that
08:46 everything that we, that we desire,
08:47 everything that we might want isn't always best for us.
08:51 And so God, He's seeking to get our thoughts.
08:54 Remember that He says,
08:55 "Our thoughts shall be established."
08:57 He's seeking to get our thoughts
08:58 to have His thoughts.
09:00 So it says, the Bible says,
09:01 that our thoughts might be His thoughts
09:03 and our ways are sometimes not His ways,
09:04 so He has to teach us how to have His way of thinking
09:08 if you understand where I'm coming from.
09:09 Any other points, Chef Law, before we close out today.
09:12 Well, we're on a 28 day challenge.
09:14 That's right.
09:16 And so we've made a plan as it were.
09:17 Exactly.
09:18 And so even on your 28 day challenge,
09:20 even though you're moving towards the right goal,
09:23 God wants to get so personal
09:25 which is that He still wants to you to put it before Him,
09:27 He still wants you to come to Him
09:28 and say, Lord, I'm on this 28 day challenge,
09:31 Lord, I'm trying to eat healthy,
09:32 Lord, I'm trying to change my life
09:34 and, Lord, I recognize that
09:35 there is also a spiritual component
09:37 mixed in with this
09:38 and God wants you to commit this plan to Him
09:40 because God is such a gentleman.
09:42 I like that, I like that, I like that.
09:43 He's only gonna stand at the door.
09:45 Guys, if you don't ask Him to come in,
09:46 He's not gonna come in. Come on now.
09:48 He's gonna wait and like the Bible says,
09:49 He's gonna stand at the door knock.
09:51 So not only does He want you to commit your life,
09:53 but He wants your health
09:55 and this 28 day challenge committed to Him as well.
09:58 And I like, I like how you put that, Chef Law.
10:00 Chef Law was breaking down that again.
10:02 We have to ask God to come in.
10:04 Again it's, it's, this is 28 day challenge.
10:07 Again we may have created that,
10:09 we're here on Dare to Dream
10:11 and we're doing this for you guys,
10:12 but again most importantly is that,
10:14 we believe that it is a part of God's plan
10:17 but you have to say, Lord, take this 28 day challenge,
10:20 I put it on, on the altar if you can say
10:22 and you have to say, Lord,
10:24 each day you wake up in the morning,
10:25 help me, Lord, to be faithful,
10:27 help me to do this according to Your will,
10:31 and I guarantee you,
10:32 you're gonna experience a blessing.
10:34 So, friends, as we always like to say this,
10:37 God is in control and the key is this,
10:40 are we gonna work with Him?
10:42 Are we gonna walk with Him?
10:43 And now as we're saying, are we gonna commit our ways
10:46 or our works with Him?
10:54 Well, friends, we've come down to the "O" in the FORK system.
10:57 And you know what the FORK system is?
10:58 The "F" stands for Faith,
11:00 the "O" stands for Organization,
11:02 the "R" stands for Recipes
11:03 and the "K" stands for Knowledge,
11:05 but we've come to the "O"
11:07 and the "O" again stands for Organization.
11:10 Organization. What's going on, Chef Law?
11:11 How are you doing, Chef?
11:13 How are you guys doing out there?
11:14 Now I'll tell you, Chef Law, it's exciting
11:16 because today's subject is practical.
11:17 I think it's something, we don't have anything here
11:19 to talk about in front of us,
11:20 we're gonna be talking about some, some, simple techniques
11:23 or simple methods that you can follow
11:25 when it comes to eating out.
11:27 That's right, eating out.
11:29 All right now, this is important.
11:30 Come on now, Chef Law,
11:31 sometimes we have to travel, don't we?
11:33 Yeah, you have to travel.
11:34 And so when I...
11:35 back in my younger years when I first became a vegan,
11:37 I used to say, you know, if it wasn't healthy,
11:41 if it wasn't like at the top, top, highest quality,
11:44 I just wouldn't even eat, friend.
11:46 You know, I would just go out and wouldn't do,
11:47 would eat nothing but you know, what will happen?
11:49 What happened? I get pretty hungry, man.
11:50 I'm sure, you did.
11:53 So that ain't kind of work, you know what I'm saying
11:55 so you find that at times,
11:57 sometimes you can't always get the best quality,
12:00 it might not be organic
12:01 or it might not be this special ingredient
12:03 but sometimes you got to work with what's available, right?
12:05 Right, we got to work what you got,
12:06 unless you're in a vegan friendly place,
12:07 I'm from California...
12:09 Exactly.
12:10 There is a lot of places I stepped at and then stop at
12:12 and they're like vegan friendly but some places,
12:14 especially when I'm traveling,
12:16 trying to find something to eat
12:17 is like trying to find a needle in the haystack.
12:18 Exactly, exactly.
12:20 So what we've found is that some techniques
12:21 that you can do, most places,
12:23 again, we go to sub shops sometimes, don't we?
12:24 Right.
12:26 And we're gonna actually make a sub sandwich for you
12:28 and we're gonna show you how to veganize it.
12:29 And you'll be amazed
12:31 that you can take ingredients such as olive oil,
12:33 a little bit of salt and put that on your bread
12:35 and it actually flavors the bread.
12:37 Yeah. It moist it. Yeah, that's sounds good.
12:38 Moist it, it make it taste good.
12:39 So we're gonna show you guys
12:41 how to make a delicious vegan sub sandwich.
12:42 But most places if you ask them you say please, sir,
12:46 please cook, can you please make me something
12:49 that doesn't have dairy inside of it?
12:50 That's a lot of pleases there.
12:51 And you gotta act sometimes,
12:53 because sometimes they don't know what to do.
12:54 And you know, and I've had a restaurant
12:56 and so some of my customers had allergies,
12:58 they may have been gluten intolerant,
13:00 they may have had special diet
13:01 that they have to eat because of their...
13:03 Peanut allergies.
13:04 Peanut allergies and they would just come and say,
13:05 can you make this without this?
13:07 And you know what I would do?
13:08 You'll make it. I'll make it for them.
13:09 Customer is always right.
13:11 Again customer service,
13:12 most restaurants if you ask them,
13:14 if you say please help me.
13:15 Do you know what happens? They'll help you.
13:17 Sometimes you don't know if they settled for what
13:19 but maybe on the menu.
13:20 Right. You can always ask what?
13:22 Ask questions.
13:23 And a good way also is to just simplify
13:25 what you're going to eat.
13:26 You know, eat fruits, nuts and grains.
13:28 Or sometimes you might not be able to get
13:30 what you want but you still can eat a healthy meal,
13:33 lot of fruit, lot of salad, every place I'm sure has that.
13:36 Exactly.
13:37 So some places you can go to that's out there,
13:39 Italian places are really good.
13:40 Italian places are good.
13:42 All those get pastas and you can always get...
13:43 Sandwich places are good.
13:44 Yeah, sandwich places are always good.
13:46 Also you can go to pizza places,
13:47 you believe it or not,
13:49 a pizza doesn't taste that bad without cheese.
13:50 That's right.
13:51 I mean, it may sound kind of funny out there
13:53 but you don't, you got to try,
13:54 if you go out there they don't have
13:55 many type of non-dairy cheese,
13:57 you can still get a good piece without the cheese.
13:58 And also, as we're talking about meal planning,
14:01 you can plan and pack your meals
14:03 if you know you're gonna travel
14:04 so you can have the things that you want.
14:05 Exactly. So there you go, you can pack fruits.
14:07 You can pack again a fresh salad to go with you.
14:09 You can also pack some simple sandwiches.
14:12 And another simple thing you can always doing a roll
14:14 something called PBJ, brother.
14:15 Okay. Come on now. PBJ, brother.
14:17 Are you just talking about layers now?
14:19 It ain't not unlike getting a PBJ sandwich.
14:21 I don't know who invented the PBJ,
14:23 but I wish I could shake his hand.
14:24 Come on, we're gonna get PBJ, man, Nobel Peace Prize.
14:26 That's right.
14:27 I tell you when you pull...
14:29 The best sandwich on earth. Come on now.
14:30 You don't have, you don't have no money.
14:31 A little bit of natural peanut butter.
14:33 Put some bananas on that.
14:34 Put a little bit of bananas on that,
14:36 a little bit of fresh jelly on it,
14:37 I tell you, you won't go hungry, my friends.
14:40 So again just ask a few questions to your Chef,
14:43 just be creative
14:44 but plan ahead and I guarantee you,
14:46 you won't go hungry when it comes to eating out.
14:54 Well, we've come to the "R" in the FORK system.
14:56 And you know what the "R" stands for?
14:58 The R stands for recipe.
15:00 And today's recipe, friends,
15:02 is going to be something some kind of chewy.
15:04 I already call it meaty meatballs.
15:06 That's right, meaty meatballs and I got my good friend,
15:09 Chef Law, again.
15:10 What's happening, Chef Law? How are you doing, Chef?
15:12 How are you guys doing out there?
15:13 Man, listen we're making stuff that's gonna be so good.
15:15 I'm just talking about, man, if you have,
15:17 you had a real meatball before like a meat, meat meatball.
15:20 Yeah, I had a meat meatball.
15:21 Well, today we're gonna have a meaty meatball.
15:23 A meaty meatball. Come on now, a meaty meatball.
15:25 And we're gonna make it, we're gonna,
15:26 we're gonna make a vegan version of a meaty meatball
15:29 and that's gonna be very, very tasty.
15:30 So let's go ahead, let's go ahead
15:32 and read the recipe if you can, Chef Law.
15:33 All right. Let's read our recipe for today.
15:36 We're going to use:
15:52 All right, so we got a lot of stuff working here, right?
15:54 Now we make, we make a meat substitute,
15:56 we have to understand that each ingredient
15:58 has a special purpose.
15:59 Okay. Come on, y'all.
16:01 Each ingredient has a special purpose.
16:03 Now I won't start preaching,
16:04 we've been preaching in that Faith section, brother.
16:06 We might start preaching right now,
16:08 but each ingredient has a special purpose.
16:10 So right here we have our rice, all right.
16:12 What we're gonna have to do is,
16:13 you're gonna have to cook some rice at home.
16:15 And we're gonna do, we're gonna blend this up with some water
16:17 and turn it into like a simple paste, is that okay?
16:19 And what we're gonna find is that,
16:20 this is gonna give us a like a binder effects,
16:24 it's gonna be the egg and that is in the recipe,
16:25 is that okay.
16:27 So the rice is going to make sure
16:28 everything holds together.
16:29 Exactly so...
16:31 Hold it together. Hold it together, brother.
16:32 Turn it just like that. All right.
16:34 All I'm doing is gonna make into a paste,
16:35 not a lot of water, okay.
16:36 Stop.
16:38 All right, just like that.
16:40 Okay.
16:42 That's all we need. That's all we need.
16:43 All right, I'm gonna do a little bit more before we go,
16:44 but go ahead now and now chop the onions up if you can.
16:46 I'm gonna go ahead and get this on.
16:50 All right, we're gonna turn that on right there.
16:51 Now what I'm gonna do,
16:53 add a little oil right here in our pot.
16:56 What we're gonna do, friends,
16:57 we're gonna go ahead and saute up our onions.
17:00 And we also gonna saute up some squash.
17:03 And squash it's actually another ingredient
17:05 inside of this recipe
17:07 which is going to act as a binder as well.
17:09 When you find, when you actually cook squash,
17:12 the squash actually turns,
17:14 it kind of has like a meat kind of sliminess to it,
17:16 believe it or not.
17:18 You know, kind of like the egg has a nice slimy,
17:19 the yellow part of the egg, the yolk.
17:21 Right, right.
17:22 It kind of going to have that yolk effect
17:23 inside the squash as well.
17:25 So we're gonna go ahead and throw these onions in here.
17:26 All right, just like this.
17:28 Come on, I love the sizzle, I love the sizzle.
17:31 Let's get them all over here. Come on, I love the sizzle.
17:32 Let's do it up.
17:34 Let's do it up. There you go. Come on, come on, Chef Law.
17:36 Now go ahead, Chef Law, give me some of that,
17:38 some of that zucchini squash if you can, please.
17:39 Okay, I got it.
17:41 Some of zucchini squash, if you can.
17:42 Chop them real fine, all right.
17:44 And the thing about this
17:45 you want to chop up everything really fine, okay.
17:47 Because again it's going inside of the meatball,
17:48 you don't want too big pieces,
17:50 you don't want the pieces too big
17:52 'cause we're gonna put it inside of again,
17:53 inside of our meatball, okay.
17:54 Inside of our meatball. Exactly, exactly.
17:56 We want nice and small. Nice and small, there you go.
17:57 You all see his skills there y'all, come on now.
17:59 Praise the Lord, amen.
18:01 That's it. Come on now. I want to chop it up.
18:03 That's all we need right there
18:04 so we're gonna toss this right into our,
18:07 to our onions, okay?
18:08 Then again we want to get the onions
18:10 so they get nice and lucid, they start getting that clear,
18:12 that clear look to it, okay?
18:14 We're gonna throw these,
18:15 throw the zucchini squash inside of here, okay?
18:17 You can use yellow squash, zucchini squash
18:19 whatever you like, okay?
18:20 So we're gonna go ahead now
18:22 and add little seasoning in this.
18:23 Okay.
18:25 Get these flavors marinate inside of this,
18:26 little seasoning.
18:27 All right.
18:29 Now go ahead and get the tofu over here.
18:30 And start crumbling that if you don't mind, please.
18:31 Start crumbling that. Crumble tofu.
18:33 That's it, crumbling it up.
18:34 All right, just like a meatball.
18:36 Now lot of times you can imagine the meatball,
18:37 imagine that being your,
18:39 your ground beef that's being crumbled, okay?
18:40 That's right, okay.
18:42 Exactly, so... This is the ground beef.
18:43 That's a ground beef right there, bro.
18:45 Tofu ground beef.
18:46 Tofu ground beef, that's right, come on now.
18:47 So ground it up, okay. Okay.
18:49 And a great thing about this, friends, is that listen,
18:50 you don't have to actually,
18:52 you don't have to buy a actual substitute.
18:54 Lot of times you might go the store
18:55 and they got vegan ground beef crumbled
18:57 or they have these different things
18:59 already pre-made.
19:00 We're showing you the secrets
19:01 of how to make it from scratch right at home.
19:03 You know, what's so special about this recipe, Chef Law?
19:05 Let me know, what's so special? It's actually is gluten free.
19:07 It's gluten free.
19:08 There is no ingredient here that has gluten inside of it.
19:10 That's good.
19:11 So some of y'all out here
19:12 who are looking for a gluten free,
19:14 a vegan alternative for meat substitute,
19:16 this is actually a good solution, okay.
19:18 Okay. That's what I'm talking about.
19:19 So this is, this, oh, man, come on fry.
19:22 We're sautéing, we ain't frying,
19:24 I mean, fry it, it'd different but we're sautéing.
19:27 That's right, looking really good, that's right.
19:28 Looking good, looking good.
19:30 Now what we're gonna do we got one more special ingredient,
19:31 now we're making meatball so we wanted to kind of have,
19:33 we don't want this one kind of look like a chicken meatball,
19:35 okay.
19:36 So what we're gonna do,
19:37 we're gonna go ahead now and chop up this,
19:39 I'm gonna ahead and get this chopped up, okay.
19:40 Okay.
19:41 So this is gonna go right inside of it here.
19:43 This is gonna kind of give it that darker color, okay.
19:45 So we're gonna go ahead now, go ahead and start this.
19:47 Go ahead, get it, get it, get it ready for action.
19:51 Getting ready for action. That's right, that's right.
19:52 So we're gonna go ahead and get these chopped up as well.
19:54 Chopping up those olives.
19:55 It's kind of hard to cut this,
19:57 they kind of move all over the place,
19:58 you got to kind of hold it together.
19:59 That's all right, just take, take you in Chew's challenge,
20:01 so this is a challenge, so take the challenge.
20:02 That's right, that's right, that's right.
20:03 Chop them up a little more, nice and steady here.
20:05 Nice and steady.
20:06 So go ahead and get those up.
20:08 Go ahead and put them inside of this mixture
20:09 if you can over here, okay.
20:10 Okay. Hot pan behind. Hot pan, hot pan.
20:12 That's what we say in the restaurant,
20:13 hot pan, you know, hot pan.
20:14 That's right.
20:16 So this is coming up, we're gonna go ahead
20:17 and finish this all right here, last two pieces.
20:20 Now go ahead now and get that rice
20:21 if you can for me, Chef Law,
20:23 go ahead and get that rice for me.
20:24 We're gonna go ahead and put that right inside it
20:25 and now we got the binding power
20:27 coming inside of that.
20:28 Okay. All right.
20:29 This is almost done, y'all.
20:31 It's supposed to be good.
20:32 That's right.
20:34 I'm gonna put that right inside of that.
20:35 So go ahead and put that inside of it, Chef Law.
20:36 Oh, man, looking good, smelling good, looking good,
20:38 all that good stuff.
20:39 That's what I'm talking about.
20:41 It's got a nice smell to it...
20:42 That's what I'm talking about, man. Nice flavor.
20:43 Go ahead and mix that up for us, Chef Law,
20:45 if you can please.
20:46 You'll mix it up for us, Chef Law.
20:48 That's what I'm talking about.
20:50 All right, bro, that's it.
20:51 Okay.
20:53 Come on now, you got to get it going now, Chef Law.
20:54 Okay. Come on now. Get that seasoning.
20:56 Little seasoning in there just like that.
20:58 All right, little seasoning,
20:59 little, little olive oil or oil inside of that.
21:02 All right, that's it, that's it,
21:04 looking really good, y'all, looking really good.
21:06 Now this is going to be, as I like to say
21:08 some kind of good, that's what I'm talking about.
21:10 Come on now. Come on now.
21:11 Smell is really delicious.
21:13 That's really what it looks like.
21:14 Now sometimes again if you want more bonding power,
21:15 you let it sit for little while and so what happens now,
21:17 you're just gonna form this, you can take this right here
21:20 and form that into a nice meatball just like that,
21:23 put it just like that on your pan just like that,
21:24 nice meatballs, okay.
21:25 Now we have our finished product underneath, Chef Law,
21:27 can you grab that for us?
21:28 Let me grab that.
21:30 Just like that, it's forming up really simply, friends,
21:31 nice meatballs.
21:32 And look at them right there, come on now.
21:34 How long do we bake them?
21:35 Thirty minutes on an oven. Thirty minutes.
21:36 Thirty minutes, I'm gonna go ahead and get one, friends,
21:38 because I tell you this is so, so kind of good.
21:41 Man, come on, go ahead and get one of those, Chef Law.
21:42 Let us just take a bite.
21:43 Let's see what we got going in there.
21:45 Oh, yes. All right, it's meatballs.
21:53 Well, sadly, friends,
21:55 we've come to the end of day number 18.
21:58 Challenge day number 18
21:59 and I tell you it's kind of like,
22:01 feeling like we're not even on a challenge anymore,
22:03 it's kind of seeming that,
22:04 we're learning these principles,
22:06 we're enjoying these principles
22:07 and we're going to find that it's gonna become a part of us
22:09 and that's what we're looking for.
22:11 We want it to become a part of us,
22:12 but we've come down to the "K".
22:14 You know, what the "K" stands for.
22:16 The "K" stands for knowledge.
22:19 And this is a fun time, I love it
22:20 because we get to go and learn and recap
22:23 on what we've done in our show.
22:24 So we got three questions, we're gonna go ahead,
22:26 and go ahead and get right into it,
22:28 and I have my friend here, Chef Law.
22:29 What's going on, Chef Law? How are you doing, Chef?
22:30 You know, how we're doing, Chef Law?
22:32 How are you guys doing out there? That's right.
22:33 So go ahead and get it started, what we're talking about today?
22:35 Well, just jump into our questions. All right.
22:36 Just challenge ourselves a little bit
22:38 on this 28 day challenge.
22:39 The first question is:
22:41 Should we bind our plans together with God's plans?
22:46 True, oh, well. True or false?
22:48 Okay, it's a true or false.
22:49 So you talked about earlier about that rolling,
22:52 that rolling of our plans, what is that all about,
22:55 that rolling of our plans, what we're talking about there?
22:57 That was about that, that was about we have plans.
23:00 We have plans for our lives, we think there is a way
23:01 that we should to go but God as our Heavenly Father,
23:04 He has plans too.
23:06 And what He wants to do is roll these plans together.
23:08 Or as we say here bind.
23:10 Or bind together. That's right.
23:11 Now sometimes God's plans are so big,
23:13 they're gonna knock ours right out of the picture.
23:14 Come on now.
23:15 But whatever plans God has are the best plans for.
23:17 Exactly, so I guess the answer would be, what?
23:19 True. True. Okay, okay, okay.
23:21 So what's question number two, Chef Law? All right.
23:23 Is when eating out we should do the following,
23:26 three suggestions:
23:28 Eat whenever I can regardless of how healthy it is,
23:31 seek to find the healthiest food
23:34 possible or C,
23:36 fast and don't eat anything.
23:40 That's very funny, man.
23:41 You know, I don't know about you all,
23:43 sometimes you might have eaten out
23:44 or you might be on the road or going on a long road trip.
23:46 And it seems that especially when you're eating healthy,
23:48 it's like there are no places to go.
23:50 There aren't any.
23:51 And I tell you sometimes I guess it will be say, hey,
23:53 I can't do is fast and not eat, what?
23:55 Anything.
23:56 Anything, and I tell you, that wouldn't be a lot of fun
23:58 I tell you, when that belly starts running,
24:00 I call it belly o'clock.
24:01 So for many of us to fast,
24:03 not eat nothing probably wouldn't be a best idea
24:05 and sometimes you know, you kind of just give up,
24:07 you say, man, there's really no place that I can go.
24:10 And so what happens we find ourselves this, what?
24:12 They're saying, "I'm eating whatever I feel like eating",
24:14 and then you know, I'm on the road so guess what?
24:16 You know, who cares it's only this one time.
24:19 And so, Chef Law, we find ourselves on, what?
24:22 Compromise. Compromising a little bit.
24:23 So we want you all to understand that ideally
24:26 if you can by the power of God seek to eat the best things
24:30 that are possible, and we gave you guys some suggestions,
24:32 there is different restaurants
24:33 that are out there that you can go to.
24:35 And you can again, a salad goes a long ways.
24:37 You know, again you can even try it
24:38 if you can most importantly bring some things with you,
24:41 if you can, that you can supplement with everything.
24:43 So we have one more question, Chef Law,
24:44 what's the last question that we have?
24:46 All right, question number three is:
24:47 What binds the meatballs together?
24:51 Three suggestions, is it A, tofu,
24:53 B, olives or C, cooked rice.
24:56 Come on now, so we a delicious recipe today
24:58 that those meaty meatballs.
25:00 Come on now, brother, those meaty meatballs.
25:02 It's not meat, it looks like it, taste like it,
25:05 but guess what?
25:06 It's not meat, but guess what?
25:08 We gotta have ingredient
25:09 that's gonna bring it all together.
25:10 You understand where I'm coming from
25:12 and so we found normally when you make meatballs,
25:15 you normally use that ingredient
25:17 that's called an egg.
25:18 And again, if you're vegetarian you might still use the egg
25:21 but we had another solution that we,
25:23 that we educated us or educated you all on
25:26 and that ingredient was what?
25:27 Was it a tofu, Chef Law?
25:28 Well, it wasn't the tofu that binds it together...
25:31 Are you sure it wasn't tofu? I think it wasn't tofu.
25:33 Come on now, what does a tofu do for?
25:34 It made a little meaty, right?
25:36 Made a little meatier gave it, the tofu gave it texture.
25:38 Okay, I like it, I like it.
25:39 So what we found that the, that the cooked rice,
25:42 when you cook that rice and you can kind of again we,
25:44 we found you gotta blend it up and you can use that to,
25:46 what to?
25:47 Bind it together. Bind it together.
25:49 So, friends, again, it's amazing
25:51 about how we can use fruits, grains,
25:54 nuts and those vegetables
25:56 and we can make healthy delicious.
25:59 When I say delicious,
26:00 I'm talking about mouth watering recipes
26:02 that you can do at home.
26:03 And guess what?
26:04 You start saving money,
26:06 believe it or not too, Chef Law.
26:07 Start saving money.
26:09 And so, friends, again this is God's plan,
26:10 we can't improve on it.
26:11 He said it from the beginning, He says that what,
26:13 He gave us the what?
26:14 The herb bearing seed,
26:16 friends, the herb bearing seed that will be for our food.
26:19 And so when we go back to Genesis,
26:20 we see that God gave us the plan,
26:22 "And our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit."
26:25 And I tell you, friends,
26:27 God wants us to treat that body,
26:28 to treat His body to treat it in a way that is like a king.
26:33 You know, if you've got to serve a king, Chef Law,
26:35 how would you treat him?
26:36 Oh, like a royal, like a king.
26:38 Come on now, you would treat him good, huh?
26:39 Topping up.
26:41 That's right, that's right, exactly. Bring him the best.
26:42 So, friends, you got to understand
26:43 that God wants the best for us.
26:45 But hey, my name is Chef Chew.
26:47 My name is Chef Law.
26:48 And as we always say,
26:50 "Gonna give you something to chew on."
