00:30 Well, friends, we've come down
00:32 to day number 26 of the Chew's Challenge.
00:34 And my name is Chef Chew and as I always say,
00:37 "Gonna give you something to chew on."
00:40 Well, friends,
00:41 today we have a special, special treat
00:43 and you don't wanna miss it.
00:45 But I have to share with you my good friend Chef Law.
00:47 What's happening, Chef Law? How're you doing, Chef?
00:49 How're you guys doing out there?
00:50 Well, Chef Law, we have something
00:51 I would tell you it's gonna be some kind of good, my friend.
00:53 Okay. What we've got here?
00:55 We're gonna be making a delicious sausage egg
00:57 and cheese muffin.
00:58 And I'd tell you, it's gonna be delicious.
01:00 And it's not only a sausage egg and cheese muffin,
01:02 it's gonna be a triple-decker sausage egg and cheese.
01:05 So we're gonna stack it up.
01:06 We're gonna stack it up, my friend.
01:08 All right. Let's do it. So go ahead.
01:09 Let's go ahead read the ingredients if you can.
01:11 All right. Let's see what we're gonna use today.
01:27 All right. There you go vegan mayonnaise.
01:29 So right here we're gonna go ahead...
01:31 I'm gonna go ahead and turn my pans on if we can.
01:32 Go ahead and get our tofu into a bowl if you can, please?
01:35 Okay.
01:36 Let me get it nice and hot over here.
01:38 Get these on. All right.
01:42 So go ahead and mash them up if you can,
01:43 get your hands dirty if you don't mind?
01:45 All right. Get your hands dirty.
01:47 We gonna throw a little seasoning in there.
01:49 So right here we got a...
01:51 Get your hands dirty. All right.
01:55 So you got your hands inside of it.
01:56 Come on, you should act like
01:58 you have to play with the thing, man.
01:59 What's going on now? Come on, Chef Law.
02:01 The raise is not getting to the surface.
02:03 Come on, man. You got to get in there, man.
02:05 You got to get it in it. Come on now. All right.
02:07 So we stirred it up, looking already good.
02:10 Now what we're gonna do was
02:11 gonna throw this on to the skillet.
02:12 We're gonna make it look even better.
02:14 How about that?
02:15 So I'm gonna put some oil in here for you, Chef Law.
02:16 Some oil in there.
02:18 Go ahead and bring it over here, man.
02:19 Are you ready? Bring it over here.
02:21 We can bring it right over here, okay.
02:22 Got little spoon right here,
02:23 give me little spatula if you can?
02:25 Oh, yes, sir.
02:26 Yes, sir, that little sizzle. That's that sound.
02:27 That sizzling sound, that's what I'm talking about.
02:29 We got little spatula back here.
02:30 Delicious. Delicious.
02:31 Give me a little spatula if you can?
02:33 One right there. All right.
02:34 We're gonna stir that up. All right.
02:36 So now we got to get our sausage patties on.
02:37 And again, friends,
02:38 we're making a not so scrambled eggs
02:42 triple-decker egg muffin, right?
02:43 Okay. Triple-decker egg muffin. All right.
02:45 So I'm gonna turn this down just little bit here.
02:47 Let that go ahead and get on low.
02:49 Now what I'm gonna do...
02:51 What are you doing right now, Chef Law?
02:52 I'm just cutting this bread. All right.
02:54 He says that is bread.
02:55 This is not just bread, friends,
02:56 it's actually a delicious...
02:58 A muffin. English muffin right here.
02:59 Okay. A delicious English muffin.
03:01 Okay.
03:02 So we're gonna go ahead and throw these sausage patties
03:03 get these warmed up right here.
03:05 Oh, we're doing that.
03:06 And you can get again vegan sausage patties,
03:08 you can get it from your local health food stores,
03:11 mostly, even most grocery stores
03:12 carry the sausage patty,
03:14 so it's where you can get all this.
03:15 It's a very easy accessible for most of you all out there.
03:18 Okay? Okay.
03:19 So here we're cutting our four English muffins
03:21 and what we're gonna do,
03:22 we're gonna make a triple-decker sandwich.
03:24 Triple-decker. One layer.
03:25 Now follow me here, y'all.
03:26 One layer is gonna have some nice old fashioned
03:29 not so scrambled eggs
03:30 and the next layer is gonna have the...
03:32 And also in that same layer with some eggs,
03:33 we wanna add the cheese as well, my friend.
03:35 Oh, yes. Is that okay?
03:36 We can't forget about the cheese.
03:38 We can't forget about the cheese now.
03:39 So there we go. Come on, y'all. Come on.
03:40 Get your hand into that with that shoulder right there...
03:42 All right now. That's what I'm talking about.
03:43 Come on now. Come on now.
03:45 We got some sausages over there.
03:46 The sausage, just let them, let them just,
03:47 let them do what they do.
03:49 Let them marinate, all right. All right.
03:50 So what we're gonna do now, we got to put our mayo...
03:53 Okay. On to the bread.
03:55 Okay. Right.
03:56 So you go ahead and take those right there.
03:57 So we're gonna put these two to the side right here.
03:59 So go ahead, that's for you.
04:00 You can go and get some mayo on the bread if you can?
04:02 All right. So what he is gonna do?
04:04 He is gonna put our mayo. All right.
04:05 You can just put it on two sides.
04:06 Just put it on two sides of the bread.
04:08 So what we're gonna do right here,
04:09 we're gonna again put one layer down,
04:11 it's gonna have our eggs.
04:12 Okay, one layer down it's gonna also had...
04:14 The next layer is gonna have our sausage.
04:16 And then we're gonna do a little move on a stove
04:18 called grandma browns, is that okay?
04:19 Grandma browns' in town.
04:20 Go ahead and put little sauce as well if you can?
04:22 I don't wanna eat all by myself.
04:23 You know, what I'm saying,
04:24 I wanna share some with you if I can.
04:26 Temperate in all things, huh.
04:27 Well, you know, I just wanna share some with you, man.
04:29 I don't wanna you to be looking at me
04:30 and going hungry, you know.
04:31 Okay. I'm just trying to be nice.
04:33 Yes, it is. That's good. Is that okay?
04:34 I'm trying to be nice. This is looking really good.
04:35 The sausage patty is just about done,
04:37 the eggs just about done.
04:38 Okay. All right.
04:40 So we're gonna turn that off. That's good.
04:41 Everything is good to go.
04:42 So what I'm going to do now to bring some eggs over.
04:44 Bring some eggs over here.
04:46 Gonna put, it's gonna be little messy, it's okay.
04:47 Sometime we look at mess,
04:49 "Oh, it's not going to be good, waste of food."
04:51 We're good.
04:52 It's on a cutting board,
04:53 so that's how I want us to have like that.
04:55 Okay. All right.
04:56 Put some cheese on top of it. All right.
04:57 All right. On both sides.
05:01 All right. So what we wanna do now.
05:02 So now we have right here, just like that.
05:04 Okay. Just like that.
05:06 Now we're gonna put the sausage patty on it
05:08 just like this.
05:09 More mayo or leave it like that.
05:10 We're actually good, it's gonna be good.
05:12 Okay.
05:13 We got a lot of muffins in here.
05:15 Now what you're gonna do after this, friends.
05:16 Just go ahead and put two sausage patties on this.
05:18 This gonna be okay. First smash that down.
05:21 Make that... Smash it down just like that.
05:23 Now you wanna smash it, friends.
05:24 Now we got to do right here.
05:26 You're wanna go ahead now turn this up just slightly.
05:27 Okay. Okay.
05:32 All right bring those over, Chef Law, if you can?
05:34 Bring those over for me, just for me,
05:36 both of those are me, right?
05:37 Yeah, go for it. All right, go ahead now.
05:39 Come on y'all. Come on y'all.
05:42 That's what I'm talking about.
05:43 Now we're just dancing with the muffins, man,
05:45 that's what I'm talking about.
05:46 You wanna press them down.
05:47 Give them a slide, now get the place over here now.
05:49 Okay. Move all this out of the way.
05:51 All this out of the way. That's what I'm talking about.
05:54 Oh, this is gonna be so good. So good.
05:58 Kind of getting little messy right there but it's okay.
06:00 It's all right. It's okay.
06:01 Just get that little cheese right there on top of here,
06:04 on top of that.
06:06 That's right just like that.
06:08 Bring this over here just like that.
06:10 Oh, yeah. Come on now.
06:13 Now I tell you, this looks like
06:15 a good treat right here, friends.
06:17 We have some delicious triple-decker egg big muffin.
06:21 And I'd tell you this is...
06:22 Chef Law, go ahead and get some of that, brother.
06:24 This is delicious. This is delicious.
06:25 Look at that. Look at that, y'all.
06:26 It looks really good, doesn't it?
06:28 Looks so delicious. Go ahead and get one.
06:29 All right. Come on now.
06:31 I'm gonna get a bite.
06:32 You get a bite my friend. All right. Let's do it.
06:33 This gonna be, hmm, hmm, delicious.
06:45 Well, friends, we've come to the "F" again,
06:46 and the "F" stands for Faith.
06:49 That's right, Faith.
06:50 And we're talking about this faith today
06:52 that's gonna make us whole.
06:53 Today, we're talking about something
06:55 that is a beautiful promise that God has given us,
06:57 but the promise is based upon conditions.
07:01 Again the promise,
07:02 this faith promise is based upon the conditions.
07:05 God says that He says, "None of these diseases."
07:08 So what you're saying, Chef Chew?
07:10 None of these diseases.
07:12 That's right, God has promised that He will not give us
07:15 the diseases that are upon the world.
07:17 Man, that's a serious promise but God said it.
07:20 And we're gonna find today why He said it,
07:22 and how we can actually experience God's gift of this?
07:26 And I got Chef Law again.
07:27 What's going on, Chef Law? What's going on, Chef?
07:29 How're you guys doing out there?
07:30 So we're talking about a powerful conditional promise
07:33 that God has given us.
07:34 A powerful conditional promise God has given us.
07:36 He's concerned with health than most people know.
07:38 Exactly, exactly.
07:40 So what we're talking about, man?
07:41 None of these diseases. Let's read in the Bible.
07:43 Let's read the text
07:44 and then let's talk about it in great detail.
07:45 Amen, amen. Let's see what it says.
07:47 Exodus 15:26, "And said, if thou wilt diligently hearken
07:51 to the voice of the Lord thy God,
07:54 and wilt do that which is right in his sight,
07:56 and wilt give ear to his commandments,
07:59 and to keep all his statues,
08:00 I will put none of these diseases upon thee,
08:04 which I have brought upon the Egyptians:
08:06 for I am the Lord that healeth thee."
08:09 Come on. That's beautiful.
08:11 I am the Lord that healeth thee.
08:13 I am the Lord that healeth thee. Come on now.
08:14 So we got to unpack this, this is a heavy scripture here.
08:17 Now we're seeing from the scripture
08:18 that God wants to keep us healthy.
08:21 Amen.
08:23 And He wants to make us healthy.
08:24 Amen.
08:25 Now the children of Israel
08:27 God delivered them out of slavery.
08:28 Out of slavery. Delivered them out of bondage.
08:29 And the Bible says that sin is a type of bondage.
08:31 So it's almost like when the children of Israel
08:34 were delivered out of slavery was a type
08:36 or symbolism the way God rescues us from sin.
08:38 Exactly.
08:39 And we saw when He delivered them,
08:41 He had specific instructions and commandments
08:44 that though they would be delivered from the spirituals,
08:47 the spiritual aspect, the sin,
08:49 He would take away the physical ailments,
08:51 and the physical sickness as well.
08:53 So God attached them,
08:54 they were attached to one another.
08:56 Exactly, exactly.
08:57 And we have to realize, friends,
08:58 that again most of us when we come to Christ,
09:00 we already come with baggage.
09:01 We come with sins that have affected our lives.
09:03 Some of us may have had habits
09:05 obviously that we're not proud of,
09:06 habits that have wounded us even today.
09:09 But God is saying even though you might right now,
09:11 you might be experiencing diabetes,
09:13 you might be experiencing hypertension,
09:15 you might have other things
09:17 that again that are not the greatest,
09:19 but even still I am able to deliver you
09:22 or even teach you a better way.
09:24 Sometimes God doesn't always heal us completely
09:27 in a sense of healing our physical maladies.
09:30 But we always can rest assure
09:31 that Christ will always heal us spiritually.
09:34 But I guarantee you this, if you follow God's plan,
09:36 even though you might have a certain disease,
09:39 it's always gonna be a little better.
09:40 It's gonna not be a little better
09:42 but I say, Chef Law,
09:43 that's gonna be a whole lot better.
09:44 Amen. Something better.
09:46 Come on now, you know exactly where I was going.
09:47 That's it. That's it.
09:48 So what else can we learn from this, Chef Law?
09:50 Well, God wants us to understand, excuse me,
09:53 the nature of disease.
09:55 He wants us to know that disease is the body's way,
09:58 it's nature's way of saying something's not right.
10:00 Okay. Something's wrong.
10:01 I need you to assist me
10:02 in getting rid of what is wrong.
10:05 Different toxins or things we might have put in our body.
10:07 Exactly.
10:08 And so we can do this by following God's health plan,
10:11 the eight laws of health, because God says,
10:13 "If you follow My commandments and My statutes,
10:16 then none of these diseases will come upon you."
10:17 Exactly, exactly.
10:19 And those eight laws are held for nutrition,
10:21 exercise, water, sunshine, temperance,
10:25 air, rest in God, and...
10:29 Am I forgetting one? Come on now, the last one.
10:30 The last one is...
10:31 We talked about it yesterday, man.
10:33 Is trust in God. We talked about temperance.
10:34 And temperance.
10:36 We talked about temperance, man, in our last meeting.
10:37 I think I said temperance. Did you say temperance?
10:38 I think said temperance. Okay.
10:40 Well, we got temperance and we got trust in God.
10:41 That's right. So that's what those two Ts are.
10:42 So go ahead.
10:44 These natural remedies as you would say is
10:46 God's prescribed health plan.
10:47 That's it.
10:49 And so God has given us again these tips,
10:51 these principles.
10:52 And we talked about some of those
10:53 already in our organizational section of the FORK system.
10:56 But these concepts, friends, are promises,
10:59 if we follow them, there's always a blessing
11:01 that we can obtain.
11:03 So again we talked about drinking
11:04 those glasses of water.
11:06 We drink those glasses of water,
11:07 the blessing that we can get, we can lose some of that...
11:09 Loose some of that weight. Exactly.
11:11 And so if we drink some of that water,
11:13 we can have a clear mind because again,
11:15 we're getting the nutrition that we need to our brain
11:19 so that we can think even more clear.
11:20 Think better.
11:21 And so God has given us these principles,
11:23 these life giving principles.
11:25 Life giving principles.
11:26 And He says, "If you follow it, none of the disease
11:29 that came upon those Egyptians will I give unto you."
11:31 And God does not change, amen? God does not change.
11:34 And so God can do the same that He did back then,
11:36 He can do for us today.
11:38 But the key is we have to cooperate with Him.
11:40 Yes.
11:41 So the question that we want to ask you, friends, is this.
11:43 Are you willing to follow God?
11:45 And if you're willing to follow Him,
11:46 just remember this, here's a secret,
11:47 He will give you His spirit,
11:50 which is gonna give you power to do.
11:53 Praise the Lord.
12:00 Hey, friends, we've come to the "O"
12:01 in the FORK system.
12:03 You know the FORK system.
12:04 The "F" stands for Faith,
12:05 the "O" stands for Organization,
12:07 the "R" stands for Recipe,
12:08 and the "K" stands for Knowledge.
12:11 And right now we're talking about this week, friends.
12:13 We're talking about the "O" the organization,
12:15 talking about personal organization.
12:18 And my good buddy here Chef Law.
12:19 What's happening, Chef Law? How're you doing Chef?
12:20 And how y'all doing out there?
12:22 And listen, today we're talking about something I'd tell you,
12:24 you wanna understand because it's talking about,
12:26 "Being a witness."
12:28 That's right. Being a witness.
12:30 You have to understand, friends,
12:31 is that when you start eating this way,
12:33 you wanna start sharing with others the blessings
12:36 that you are receiving
12:38 as we always say to live, is to what?
12:40 Is to give. Is to give.
12:41 And right here in front of me...
12:43 Earlier we had a delicious triple egg and muffin sandwich.
12:46 It's the stacked up one. Come on, the triple-decker.
12:48 Triple-decker. That's right.
12:49 And we had the sausage and the egg
12:51 and all of that was just so delicious.
12:54 So imagine, friends,
12:55 you're eating this with your friends
12:57 and imagine as you're eating it your friends say, "Wow."
13:00 "What is that? How do you make it?
13:01 What's all in there?"
13:03 They're looking at it
13:04 and it's looking like you got eggs,
13:05 looking like you got real sausage.
13:07 And you're gonna say, "No, no, hold, hold, hold."
13:10 What is this right here? It's all so non-diary.
13:13 All non-dairy.
13:14 And so what happens when people see
13:16 what you're doing, they're gonna be interested.
13:18 As they see you're starting to trim it down
13:20 just a little bit if you follow where I'm coming from.
13:21 Yes, indeed. Yes.
13:23 They're gonna say, "Man, what're you doing?
13:24 What are you doing different?"
13:25 And you have an opportunity to guess what?
13:27 To share with your friends, with your children,
13:29 with your coworkers, with your family,
13:31 whoever you can.
13:33 And I guess, and guess what?
13:34 As you share, you're gonna actually receive,
13:36 guess what, Chef Law?
13:38 Well, as you start to give, God really starts to bless you.
13:40 The Bible says,
13:41 "He that watereth shall be watered also himself."
13:43 It will actually make you feel better, it will help you,
13:45 helping somebody else.
13:47 Come on now. And you think about it possibly even further.
13:49 I say all of us probably have a special,
13:52 a loved one out there, right?
13:53 And think about that opportunity
13:56 when birthdays might come around
13:57 or there's a special, maybe Mother's Day,
14:00 whatever it might be.
14:01 And you have the opportunity to go to the store.
14:03 You have the opportunity to pick out something that is
14:05 so, so what?
14:07 So special. Special.
14:08 And there's nothing like when you used to get that gift
14:11 and that person now opens it up.
14:13 And now you would say...
14:15 Who would you think
14:17 will we see the best blessing in that experience?
14:19 The person receiving the gift
14:20 or the person who actually gave the gift?
14:22 It's always the giver.
14:24 Once you see the smile on the person face...
14:25 Come on now, Chef Law.
14:26 How appreciative they are...
14:28 You feel good, you wanna give some more.
14:29 Exactly.
14:30 So that's the same thing
14:32 when it comes to sharing our health experience
14:34 that the blessings that God is doing for us.
14:36 You have to understand this that there's people out here
14:38 who are literally,
14:40 who are suffering with illness, who are suffering of disease.
14:43 Right now in this country
14:45 the leading cause of death is heart disease.
14:47 You know, what's so crazy about heart disease?
14:49 What's so really ironic about it?
14:51 What's that?
14:52 Is that, friends, it can be prevented.
14:54 Preventable disease.
14:55 Diabetes, it can be, friends, prevented.
14:58 These are lifestyle disease
15:00 that we don't have to, guess what?
15:02 We don't have to die about.
15:04 We might have genetics that might be a factor
15:06 towards causing us to get the disease.
15:08 There might be either health factors
15:11 that we've learned growing up.
15:12 You know, that we grew up in learning
15:14 how to eat a certain way.
15:15 But even still the only thing
15:17 we really can't change is our genetic makeup, right?
15:18 Right.
15:20 But those other factors are environment,
15:22 our habits that we've learned from our childhood.
15:25 All of those things
15:26 and it's purely our own choice...
15:27 Our own choice.
15:29 Which is the power that God gave to all of us.
15:31 We can make a decision today,
15:33 we can make a decision to say, you know, something,
15:35 I'm gonna go out here and share with whoever I can
15:38 about this lovely, lovely plan that, guess who created?
15:41 The Lord created. God created.
15:43 That's right. That's right.
15:44 God gave it to us.
15:45 He says in the beginning of time,
15:47 he gave us, what?
15:48 The diet that says fruits,
15:49 grains, nuts and vegetables, friends.
15:51 Talk about being a witness kitchen organization.
15:59 Well, friends,
16:00 we've come to the "R" in the FORK system,
16:02 and the "R" stands for Recipe.
16:05 And today's recipe, friends, you do not wanna miss it,
16:08 it's one of my all time favorites.
16:10 And I have my good friend Chef Law.
16:11 What's happening, Chef Law? How're you doing, Chef?
16:13 How're you guys doing out there?
16:14 What are we doing today, Chef Law?
16:15 Looks like we're making a sub. That's right.
16:17 This big thing right here. Come on now.
16:19 We're actually making a delicious vegan sub sandwich.
16:22 Vegan sub sandwich. All right. Vegan sub sandwich.
16:23 We're gonna show you guys,
16:25 how to actually understand the science of crafting
16:28 an actual vegan sub.
16:30 So we're gonna tell you all about that today.
16:31 So go ahead and read our ingredients, Chef Law,
16:33 if you can, please?
16:34 All right, let's see what we're gonna be using today
16:35 on our vegan sub sandwich.
16:53 All right, that's what we're talking about.
16:54 So again, we're talking about a sandwich architecture.
16:58 Now who would ever think
16:59 that a sandwich would have an architecture to it?
17:00 Oh, yeah.
17:02 A science of building something, you follow me.
17:03 All right.
17:05 So what we're talking about here, okay.
17:06 So we're gonna do, we're gonna go ahead
17:07 and cut our sandwich or cut our sub bread here.
17:09 All right. Cut in half, all right.
17:11 So obviously, friends, you can get these,
17:13 the baguettes they call them.
17:15 You can get these at most of your grocery stores,
17:17 you can get them from health food stores,
17:18 you have a local bakery.
17:19 You can also get them at your local bakeries.
17:21 And so again, they call them baguettes.
17:23 And again, they are really excellent
17:25 for making those delicious subs.
17:26 And I tell you, friends,
17:28 it's so, so gonna be so delicious.
17:30 And so again,
17:32 a lot of times we spend, almost what?
17:33 Eight, nine dollars for a sub, sometimes more than that.
17:36 And again, you can almost make these same sandwiches
17:38 for literally for three, four dollars or less
17:41 and it's really, really easy to make, friends.
17:43 So we're gonna do right here, right.
17:44 First thing we're gonna do for our sandwich architecture,
17:46 you got to put mayo on one slice,
17:48 and we're just gonna make one sandwich today,
17:50 so put this over here.
17:51 We're gonna make,
17:52 put our mayo on one slice, on one side of the bread.
17:54 Go ahead and do that for me if you can, Chef Law,
17:55 on the bottom slice,
17:57 on the bottom layer I should say.
17:58 We're putting our mayo,
17:59 vegan mayo on the bottom layer of the bread
18:02 and that's gonna actually act as
18:04 like a moisture barrier, okay.
18:06 Like a moisture bread, you mean it.
18:08 If I put this naked the vegan meat
18:11 or the vegetables on there, and what is it gonna do?
18:14 It's gonna actually cause it to get dry on the bottom.
18:16 Okay.
18:17 Okay, so and lot of times, you know,
18:19 you're putting inside the oven as well.
18:20 And sometimes if you don't have again a moisture barrier there,
18:22 it's gonna kind of get real crispy
18:24 and it's kind of gonna be kind of real hard to eat,
18:25 you follow, where I'm coming from.
18:27 Okay, so what we're gonna do next?
18:28 We're gonna add our meat,
18:30 so right here we have a vegan ham, that's right.
18:31 And when you put your slices on the bread,
18:32 you wanna make sure
18:34 you actually fold them in half, okay.
18:35 Have them fold it.
18:36 Have them fold just like that,
18:38 so go ahead and start bringing me some, if you don't mind.
18:39 So we're gonna go ahead and put the vegan sandwich like this
18:41 on top just like that.
18:43 And this is gonna kind of give a more stronger sandwich.
18:46 It's kind of like, you kind of have
18:47 those pillars of foundation inside the, inside the,
18:50 you follow, where I'm coming from.
18:52 So we're gonna make a stronger sandwich,
18:53 we're putting again the meat on here in slices.
18:55 Next we have our vegan Canadian bacon
18:57 and we're gonna go ahead and cut that,
18:59 just might not hold this easy,
19:00 so we're gonna have to probably kind of cut that one.
19:03 It's not gonna hold that easy
19:04 so we're gonna do work with that.
19:06 So we're gonna have to cut this one,
19:07 this is not gonna hold together,
19:08 so we're just gonna go ahead and cut these in half,
19:10 put them in the,
19:11 in the kind of catty corner like that, all right.
19:13 So what we have next,
19:14 we're gonna have to slice some vegetables up,
19:15 is that okay, Chef Law?
19:17 That's all right. All right.
19:18 So we have our meat down next.
19:19 After this, we're gonna do our cheese after this,
19:21 we're gonna go ahead and slice our vegetables there.
19:22 So we're talking about
19:24 the architecture of a good sandwich.
19:25 And again, friends, put the meat down first,
19:27 you got the moisture bread down with the mayo,
19:29 and next thing we're gonna do
19:30 is go and cut our some of our vegetables,
19:32 and we're gonna layer this bad boy.
19:33 So we want sliced tomatoes, that's what I'm talking about.
19:35 Nice, slice, healthy fresh tomatoes.
19:38 Some of y'all out there may have a garden.
19:40 And I tell you, friends, there's nothing like getting
19:41 fresh tomatoes out of a garden.
19:43 I don't know about you, Chef Law,
19:44 it is nothing like getting fresh neat tomatoes
19:47 out of your delicious garden, friends.
19:49 Nothing like it. Nothing like it.
19:50 That's it.
19:52 Little bit more, that's all we need.
19:53 All right, that's all we're gonna need.
19:55 So we're gonna put this to the side right here,
19:56 put it right to the side right there.
19:57 Go ahead and get the lettuce right here,
19:59 Chef Law, if you can?
20:01 Okay.
20:02 Just get a little bit of lettuce going,
20:03 get the red part, I like that red part,
20:05 if you can.
20:06 Go and get that red part, man.
20:07 You want the leaf you wanna cut.
20:09 If you can just cut, we want to cut them nice,
20:10 nice thin strips, if you can, okay.
20:12 Nice thin strips, slim strips if you can,
20:13 okay, just like that.
20:14 And we're gonna sprinkle
20:16 that right on our bread at the very end.
20:17 Okay, go ahead now
20:18 and give me some of the jalapeno.
20:20 And I tell you,
20:21 nothing like a little kick in the sandwich, right?
20:22 Oh, nothing like kickin'. Come on now, jalapeno again.
20:24 Now, you know, if you know if you ever had a jalapeno,
20:25 the seed is where you have the, the heat at, right?
20:27 The heat at.
20:28 So the more seed you eat, the more heat you're gonna get.
20:30 Is that right?
20:31 So how hot do you want it to get?
20:33 So how hot do you want it to get?
20:34 That's what we're talking about.
20:35 How hot do you want it to get, okay.
20:37 So we have some vegan sliced cheese right here.
20:38 We're gonna go ahead and slice the rest of that,
20:39 if you can, Chef Law?
20:41 That's vegan cheese, we're gonna go ahead
20:42 and layer it on either side of the bread.
20:44 So again we wanna do meat and then we wanna do cheese
20:46 and again we have the vegan slice cheese,
20:48 let's get it right there.
20:49 All right, give me little bit more.
20:51 Nice vegan sliced cheese. Careful now.
20:53 Don't cut my hand off now, brother.
20:55 I don't want you to get handicap, brother.
20:56 Come on now. I don't wanna cut my hand off.
20:58 So again, we're building a sandwich,
21:00 again we want that meat, you want that cheese next,
21:03 and then we're gonna start building with the vegetables,
21:04 so get a little bit of peppers
21:06 and we're gonna be pretty much done.
21:07 And we're gonna go ahead and knock this sandwich out.
21:09 And I tell you, it's gonna be so delicious,
21:10 you want nice little strips of the peppers here, okay.
21:13 Okay.
21:14 Put some peppers right here. All right, looking good, man.
21:18 So again, it can be made in minutes,
21:19 really easy to do, really simple to do,
21:22 just like that.
21:23 So I'm gonna go ahead now
21:25 to get the other mayonnaise on both sides of the bread.
21:26 Okay.
21:28 And on this side of the bread, you wanna, on that first slice,
21:30 I didn't mention it,
21:31 but it's better to do like a wash coat on the first slice.
21:33 On the top slice you want to put your
21:35 nice thick coat of mayonnaise.
21:37 Not too thick,
21:38 some of your mom might not like too thick of a coat,
21:39 but you have a lot, a lot of bread to go through.
21:42 So it's important that you have enough moisture
21:44 inside the sandwich.
21:46 So it doesn't get dry.
21:47 There's nothing like having a dry sandwich my, friends.
21:48 So go ahead and layer our lettuce right here,
21:50 Chef Law, if you can?
21:51 Lettuce right here, if you can?
21:54 Just like that, friend.
21:55 Tomatoes on top, the whole of that lettuce down,
21:58 just like that.
21:59 Oh, yes, sir. Looking really, really good.
22:02 And we got some jalapenos on here,
22:03 some just of this might fall apart
22:05 but it's okay, we can stack right in there.
22:07 Go and move this out of the way if you can?
22:09 Looking really good. Bell peppers.
22:10 Okay, go and put some bell peppers on there
22:11 if you can?
22:13 All right, that's what I'm talking about.
22:16 All right, so go ahead and put this right here for me
22:17 if you can?
22:18 Looking really good, man.
22:20 So we got one side just like that,
22:21 got the other side
22:22 we're gonna have to hold it like that,
22:24 put it on top, just press it down.
22:26 You got to press it down, friends,
22:27 it's important to press it down.
22:29 So go ahead and cut this, Chef Law, if you can?
22:31 Go ahead and just cut that in half.
22:32 We're looking really good, friends.
22:34 And I tell you, it's gonna be really...
22:35 Straight there, straight there, just like that.
22:36 There you go. Come on now.
22:38 I'm gonna go ahead and grab this.
22:39 Oh, man.
22:41 See that right there, friends,
22:43 looking so good, so delicious, so tasty,
22:45 I'm talking about a vegan sub sandwich.
22:47 It's gonna be so delicious.
22:56 Well, we're at end of another day
22:58 of Chew's Challenge, day number 26.
23:00 And I tell you we only have two days to go.
23:04 We've come a long way together, friends.
23:06 And it's been so exciting,
23:08 but right now we've come down to the "K".
23:09 You know, what the "K" stands for?
23:11 The "K" stands for Knowledge.
23:13 And remember this, God wants us to have knowledge,
23:15 that He wants us to seek after it,
23:17 ask for treasures, ask for gold and silver,
23:20 it is even not only is it, I should say,
23:22 it's better than the gold and silver of this world.
23:25 God's wisdom is above all things
23:27 and God wants us to get it even now.
23:28 So, friends, we're gonna go and ask some questions,
23:30 and I have my good friend here, Chef Law.
23:32 What's going on, Chef Law? What's going on, Chef?
23:34 How're you guys doing out there?
23:35 We've been having a good day together, haven't we?
23:37 Man, you know, I have a lovely day.
23:38 Come on now, come on.
23:40 We've been learning all these different recipes today, man.
23:41 Right. Yeah.
23:42 We learned about how to make that delicious sub sandwich.
23:44 Yeah. That was delicious, that's good.
23:45 Come on now sometimes when we're eating out,
23:47 we don't know what to eat, so we can,
23:48 we show them how to make a delicious
23:49 natural sub sandwich.
23:51 You have the sub at the house. That's all, that's it, brother.
23:52 That's what I'm talking about. Amen.
23:54 So what we got today, man?
23:55 We got a couple of questions, so let's roll right into it.
23:57 All right.
23:58 Question number one:
23:59 We will not receive the diseases of the world
24:01 if we listen to God and follow his plan?
24:04 Come on now. True or false?
24:06 True or false.
24:07 And we learned earlier, man, that God gave us a plan.
24:10 He gave us a health plan.
24:11 God gave us those natural remedies.
24:12 Those natural plans, that's right.
24:14 And He says, if we follow these plans
24:15 or these simple remedies...
24:16 Remedies. Guess what, friends?
24:18 You will not... None of these diseases.
24:19 None of these diseases.
24:21 Will come upon you. Come on.
24:22 So God said, the diseases
24:23 that were in the world, will not be on you.
24:25 Come on now. Answer is true.
24:26 Isn't that love? That's love.
24:27 Come on now.
24:29 So God wants us, friends, to be free,
24:30 free from these things.
24:32 And again, we share with y'all earlier,
24:33 that some of us come to God with these diseases,
24:34 some of us have these problems,
24:36 but know that God if we start today,
24:37 those things can become a lot better,
24:39 God can begin to heal.
24:41 He says, I am the God that healeth thee.
24:42 Healeth thee.
24:43 So we got number two, what we got?
24:45 Question number two:
24:46 When making a vegan sub sandwich,
24:48 you place oil directly on the bread?
24:51 Is this true or is this false?
24:52 Now and the reason why I shared this again,
24:55 sometimes we're out and about and we gotta go,
24:57 maybe go get a sub, and sometimes again,
24:59 if you're trying to go vegan, again,
25:00 you don't want to use the cheese.
25:02 And typically the mayonnaise also has dairy inside of it.
25:05 So we showed you a little tip
25:06 on how to make a delicious healthy vegan sub sandwich
25:10 without the cheese and without the mayo.
25:12 So we showed you guys, how you can drizzle,
25:14 just drizzle that oil right on that bread,
25:16 and you can put a little salt on that bread
25:18 and then they're going toast it for you.
25:20 And you can add that last little thing on there,
25:22 little oregano and you're gonna find that, friends,
25:24 you're going to have a sandwich
25:25 that's gonna be some kind of good
25:27 without the cheese and without mayo.
25:29 You know, so again it's just about choice,
25:31 you don't have to do if you don't want to
25:32 but we've shown you how to, how to veganize it,
25:34 if you understand where I'm coming from.
25:35 That's the Chew's Challenge.
25:37 So, is the oil something that we need, friends?
25:39 It looks like the oil is.
25:40 Oil goes in the bread, right? Oil goes on the bread.
25:42 That's how you do it, that's right.
25:43 Goes right into bread. Goes right into bread.
25:44 So what's question number three?
25:46 Question number three: To live is to what?
25:47 You have three choices, so to live is to eat,
25:50 to live is to have fun, or to live is to give?
25:54 Come on now.
25:55 Now, me and you, me and you away back, don't we, Chef Law?
25:56 We go back.
25:58 We go back to... Eighteen years old.
25:59 Eighteen years. From university, that's right.
26:01 And I'm gonna say, how old we are today, right?
26:03 You know what I'm saying. We're still...
26:04 Oh, I'm 32 years young... Come on.
26:06 No, I'm not 32, is what you're saying.
26:08 I haven't lost a step, yet, I'm still engrossing in there.
26:10 But we used to have a lot of fun back in those days.
26:11 Yeah, we used to have a lot of fun.
26:13 We have lot of fun.
26:14 Some things, obviously friends,
26:15 we don't want to talk about today.
26:17 Some things we ain't gonna talk about.
26:18 We ain't gonna talk about. Amen, that's right.
26:19 So we used to live
26:21 and we thought living sometimes,
26:22 and I remember we be college students,
26:23 we 12 o'clock, 1 o'clock at night,
26:25 what we'll be doing, Chef Law?
26:26 Eating and crowning...
26:28 We eat and having fun as we called it.
26:30 But we learned when we came to Christ.
26:31 Come on now. Come on, brother.
26:33 All things made new.
26:34 When we came to Christ,
26:36 God made it into what, "New creatures,
26:37 old things passed away, and all things became new."
26:41 And we found that to live means that guess what, friends?
26:44 We have to start giving. God wants us to do what?
26:47 Give. Come on now.
26:48 His plan of life is that you would reach outside of yourself
26:52 and give to others.
26:53 Because, if you water, then you shall be water.
26:55 You see, exactly, exactly so.
26:57 So God says, listen, it's not about your anymore,
26:59 it's not about you trying to get the,
27:01 to get this and get that
27:03 and striving for the things of this world.
27:06 It's time for you to remember that, guess what?
27:08 I am your creator,
27:09 I'm the one who gave you breath,
27:12 I am the one who took you and forms you with my hands.
27:15 And if I have formed you, and I gave you, guess what?
27:18 My son.
27:19 Jesus came as the Son of God,
27:22 He came and gave His life for us.
27:24 So the question becomes, if He gave so much for us,
27:27 what shall we give for Him?
27:28 It's not a...
27:30 It's not the exchange can never be equal, saints.
27:33 That exchange is a free gift
27:35 and all we have to do is this, is say Lord,
27:38 forgive me for my sins,
27:40 forgive me for my sins, Lord, and give me a new heart.
27:44 And God has promised to give us that new heart,
27:47 to give or I should say to live is to give.
27:51 So, friends, my name a Chef Chew.
27:53 And my name is Chef Law.
27:54 And as we always say,
27:56 "Gonna give you something to chew on."
