00:22 I like healthy food that tastes so good
00:27 I like to eat good food
00:29 What you say now?
00:30 I like to eat good food
00:34 I like to eat good food
00:38 Welcome to Creative Cooking.
00:41 My name is Kimberly.
00:44 I'm Taisha.
00:45 And I'm Jan, and we are The Holmes Sisters.
00:48 We are so happy to have you here with us today.
00:52 We have good food in our hands.
00:53 That's right, potato.
00:55 Potatoes, potatoes, potatoes.
00:58 We all love potatoes, everybody.
01:00 And I'm hungry.
01:02 Hey, Jason, how are you doing? How are you guys?
01:04 I'm doing well. Hi, hungry, nice to meet you.
01:06 It's a pleasure. What are we eating today?
01:09 We are eating potatoes.
01:11 Yes, we're having comfort food
01:13 and we're starting out
01:14 with Jan's delightful potato salad.
02:00 All right. Sounds tasty.
02:01 That sounds tasty.
02:02 All right, so what's up?
02:04 Where are you gonna begin?
02:05 Oh, well, we just mix everything together
02:07 in this bowl here,
02:09 so we start with the potatoes
02:11 and this recipe is really easy because everything just mix,
02:14 you just through everything in and start mixing things around.
02:16 So, Jan, we boiled the potatoes first
02:19 and then we cubed it.
02:20 Potatoes are boiled, they're cool down,
02:22 they were washed, peeled, boiled,
02:24 and then you just mix everything together,
02:26 you cut it up nicely.
02:27 Let them cool off
02:29 and just start throwing everything together.
02:32 You know, I've never made potato salad before...
02:34 No. I've consumed a lot of it.
02:37 A whole lot of it, I've never made it.
02:40 Okay, well here is your chance
02:41 for some little vegan salt potato salad.
02:45 I can't wait, my part is coming up soon.
02:49 You have the most important part.
02:51 You have the best part, the easiest one, right?
02:53 Tastiest part.
02:54 Finish it off and finish it off,
02:58 and I'm gonna finish it.
02:59 You just gonna finish it off.
03:01 So you just mix that together,
03:02 you know, it's so funny when I see this potato.
03:05 It just makes me think how good God is.
03:07 You know, Jason, I don't know if you know
03:09 but we were born in the Bronx, in the Boogie Down.
03:13 Bronx, New York. That's right.
03:14 And let me tell you my parents had a burden on their heart,
03:18 to move out into the country
03:20 and to just get us out of the city
03:22 because it's rough,
03:23 you know, you're talking about don't go to the store,
03:25 we wanted to make potato salad.
03:27 Ma, I want to go the store.
03:28 I can't go to the store by myself,
03:30 it's dangerous.
03:31 So, you know, they had a burden on their heart
03:33 to just get us out of the city.
03:35 And God, you know, few years later,
03:37 many years later the opportunity came up
03:40 and they were able to buy home in the country
03:42 and this potato that I'm holding
03:44 I can just go in my backyard and dig it up
03:47 and we make some potato salad.
03:48 That's right. Isn't God good?
03:50 A lot of this food that we're sharing in these recipes,
03:54 collard greens right outside.
03:56 Cabbage.
03:58 Green pepper, red pepper right in our backyard.
04:00 That's right.
04:01 I'll tell you, I'm so thankful
04:03 that we have country living now,
04:05 you know, it's just a beautiful thing
04:06 and we can just pick our foods and eat 'em
04:09 and make some good potato salad.
04:11 So, peppers and potatoes...
04:14 It looks amazing, you know, I think I have a burden too,
04:16 I think you guys you just moved your families,
04:19 you should come out here
04:21 and you guys should cook like this every single day.
04:22 And let me tell you,
04:23 this is country living
04:25 because when we come out here,
04:27 we're like, wow, this is country living,
04:29 we feel it home, so we may consider that.
04:32 So now we just plate it in a beautiful bowl
04:35 and we can put a dash of paprika.
04:38 Where is my part? Just pour.
04:40 All right, Jay.
04:42 Now see what you want to do for those that are watching,
04:45 so you want to get your little fingers there,
04:48 you know, you want to work it out,
04:49 this is an important part.
04:50 Very important.
04:52 And you want to get a nice little sprinkle on there.
04:55 That's right, with just right amount.
04:56 Finishing touches.
04:57 A little color.
04:59 Just right.
05:00 Keep it going. All right.
05:02 Then some times you just get, you know, eager.
05:04 You can try. You're ready to eat.
05:07 In your looks and it just has to,
05:09 you put it in a fridge
05:11 and you let it chill a little bit in a fridge,
05:12 and it gets cold and then you dig in.
05:15 So we have some here that...
05:18 Oh, yes.
05:19 We are ready to dig in.
05:21 Yeah. All right.
05:22 Let's dig right in. All right.
05:24 And now it's a potato salad. Yeah, so let's dig in.
05:29 Jason!
05:30 You meant, you meant with this little ones right there.
05:32 We're going just to taste.
05:34 All right, a little sample.
05:36 Even though it's hard, once you eat potato
05:39 and you start potato salad, you cannot stop,
05:41 that's very hard.
05:42 Okay, here we go, guys.
05:43 We're ready. We're ready, let's go.
05:51 What do you think, Jay?
05:52 First time bringing so...
05:54 I think, I think you guys got to move out of here.
05:55 Home season potato salad.
05:57 For what? That's your last job.
05:59 Move.
06:01 This is delicious.
06:02 It just reminds me of camp meetings.
06:03 Yes. That's extremely, oh, yes.
06:05 You bring your food... That's right.
06:07 Potato salad. Right in that cooler.
06:08 Shun up. With your scallops.
06:10 Yeah.
06:11 That's like an Adventist barbeque.
06:13 That's right.
06:14 You know what? It was right up in here.
06:16 Right up in the barbeque. You were so right.
06:17 That's coined.
06:18 You've had your potato salad and you know we also had,
06:20 we had some veggie chicken or veggie crispy tofu.
06:24 And so what we've had.
06:26 And so we have that here to show you today
06:28 some crispy herbed tofu.
06:31 Ooh.
06:32 I can't wait to try that. All right, let's get that.
06:34 To go with this potato salad.
06:36 All right, we're gonna read
06:37 the directions for you right now.
07:11 And that's it. That's all.
07:12 All right. Let's go.
07:14 Let's begin. I'll slide on down here.
07:16 All right, and I'll slide on here.
07:19 And I will put finishes touches on here.
07:21 Here we go.
07:23 Show me what we're gonna do here.
07:24 All right, Jan, so.
07:25 Okay, so we're gonna first start by cutting up the tofu.
07:29 Sure.
07:30 Let's put this right here in the middle
07:33 and we're gonna have Taisha come and do her,
07:35 Taisha has a very fancy way. Yes, excuse me.
07:37 That she likes to slice up this tofu,
07:39 so we're gonna say Tai, do your thing.
07:41 Do your thing, Tai.
07:43 Do your thing in kitchen. All right.
07:44 So you take your cubed tofu
07:46 and you just cut it right in half
07:48 right down the center,
07:51 lay it on down.
07:52 Okay, we get this.
07:54 To make it nice, we're making triangles, right?
07:56 That's right.
07:57 All right, I feel I'm in ageometry class right now.
08:00 All right, so how many triangles do we have?
08:02 Anyone how many?
08:03 That's two, three, four, five, six, seven up...
08:07 All right. So here we go again.
08:08 How many triangles do we have here now?
08:10 Well, how do you do that?
08:12 Come on, guys, you guys are not answering the question.
08:13 Two, three, four.
08:15 Sixteen!
08:17 Times two, so don't forget that I believe.
08:19 All right, there we go.
08:21 We have the isoscele, okay.
08:23 There you go. All right.
08:25 So we have 16 triangles.
08:26 Okay, let me put that right on into the bowl just like that.
08:29 Tofu, and we're sliding on into the bowl.
08:31 And this is such a very simple easy recipe,
08:34 we love simple easy, right?
08:35 We love simple and easy.
08:37 Now what was that that was in? Was that water?
08:39 That's just the water that it comes
08:40 and the tofu comes and sits in water.
08:43 So we're just gonna take the recipes,
08:46 the ingredients to the recipe
08:47 and we're just gonna throw it in.
08:49 Oh, this is my part.
08:50 This is where... this is where I come in.
08:51 Do your thing, Jason, that's why you're here.
08:53 There you go.
08:54 All right, let's just...
08:56 Well, we got a little bit more.
08:57 That's right. Get it all in.
08:58 Sometimes you just got to smack a little like that.
09:00 All right. We get a little seasoning.
09:02 That's right.
09:03 That nutritional yeast with the big vitamin, the B12.
09:07 Here we go. Rosemary.
09:09 That's wonderful.
09:11 Onion power, okay. We might need...
09:13 Onion is being little stubborn.
09:14 Yeah, that's where spatula comes in handy for.
09:16 All right, and then we have paprika
09:18 which gives it the nice color.
09:20 Smoked paprika if you please.
09:23 Then our olive oil.
09:25 It's quite all around, there you got.
09:26 Then who wants to just mix it around.
09:28 Mix it around.
09:30 Now you can use your hands, or you can use the spatula.
09:32 We're gonna use the spatula today.
09:34 Now, Taisha, I'm noticing
09:35 that the tofu is not falling apart.
09:37 No.
09:38 It's extra firm tofu,
09:40 you want to make sure don't try this with the silken.
09:42 I mean, you might get a couple of little pieces
09:44 that fly often, they're disobedient.
09:46 But for the most part you've coated nice and evenly
09:50 all 16 triangles.
09:52 Extra firm tofu. Yeah, that looks good.
09:54 Isn't that fabulous? It's fabulous.
09:56 Let's eat in. And deep smelling.
09:59 You're jumping ahead. Okay.
10:00 Okay, what's the other one? This is the best that we have.
10:02 So we take away.
10:04 I don't think you want to try this raw.
10:06 That's right.
10:07 But, you know, you can eat tofu raw
10:09 if you put other seasons,
10:11 I don't think you'd want to try it,
10:12 if you mix it up and probably that...
10:13 We're gonna spray the pan.
10:15 We spray the pan. It's a little pan right there.
10:16 Let me get a little spray here, we're gonna spray.
10:18 All right.
10:20 This is very important so it doesn't stick
10:22 and we're gonna preheat our oven to a 450 or 475
10:26 depending on the oven that you have,
10:28 and then we'll just pour
10:30 our triangles right on the tray.
10:33 And just spread it out.
10:34 Spread it out nice and even, give it a little shake.
10:36 Shake, shake, shake.
10:37 All right. Shake and bake.
10:38 There we go, shake and bake
10:40 because these are gonna be baked, okay.
10:41 And when they come out, they are nice and crispy,
10:44 nice and chewy,
10:46 and I mean, this is so versatile.
10:48 Kim, can you pop it in the oven please?
10:49 Of course. Yeah.
10:51 And you know what? You know what I love?
10:52 I love the fact that on TV
10:54 there's some that's already done for us to have some fun.
10:57 We love that.
10:59 They're ready to eat.
11:00 That's the best part. How did that happen so fast?
11:01 I can't...
11:03 We have...
11:04 All right.
11:05 So this is what it looks like when it comes out.
11:07 This is our herb crusted.
11:08 Herb crusted tofu. Yeah.
11:10 All right. Okay.
11:13 The wonderful thing about this is
11:14 you could pick it up with your fingers.
11:16 That's right. Finger food.
11:17 And you take it and you just...
11:20 Bite.
11:21 Just look at the herbs and you say...
11:24 Well, while you're looking, I'm tasting.
11:27 These herbs smells so wonderful.
11:29 I don't know, Jan. You guys are eating?
11:31 Look me up.
11:32 Hello, you can jump at any time on any day.
11:34 Some herb toasted tofu and some tato salad.
11:37 Oh, let me tell you.
11:38 I didn't say potato salad, I said tato salad.
11:41 That' how we say it down south.
11:43 But these are wonderful.
11:44 And what I like about this is,
11:46 if you can pass me that bowl of salad there,
11:49 this is so versatile.
11:51 Okay.
11:52 Some other ideas,
11:53 you know, we like to be creative with cooking, right.
11:56 It's creative cooking, right.
11:58 So we just take it and viola!
12:00 Right on the salad. That's right.
12:02 Look at that.
12:03 Whatever is your...
12:04 That's a complete meal. Doesn't that look delicious!
12:06 Complete meal.
12:07 I mean, whatever your desires
12:09 and regard to your dressing, you drizzle it on
12:11 or you might not even need dressing.
12:12 You could put this inside of a wrap,
12:15 you can put it on your skewers and you can barbeque it.
12:18 Actually, this makes a great barbeque, raw.
12:23 You don't even have to imagine.
12:24 You can put it on, you know, put your tomatoes,
12:27 your peppers, and your zucchinis.
12:29 And then you add these on before you...
12:31 instead of baking it, you grill it.
12:33 Just grill it.
12:35 That is delicious.
12:36 And you see how versatile it is.
12:37 I mean, it's absolutely delicious as you guys...
12:39 Okay, so, one, two, three.
12:40 And the consistency of it.
12:42 It's trying to jump out my mouth.
12:44 See, I could have had that piece.
12:45 Slow down.
12:47 And it's good, cold or hot out the oven.
12:50 That's right, that's right.
12:52 And it's not fried.
12:53 So it's guilt free.
12:56 Hey, more please.
12:59 So, family, do you see how exciting it is
13:03 to eat God's wonderful,
13:05 creative food, creative cooking.
13:09 This is great.
13:10 It's so diverse, you know.
13:11 Very.
13:13 We, you know, we used to always eat potato salad.
13:15 I'm sorry.
13:17 Talking with my mouthful.
13:18 That's all right.
13:20 Well, I tell you what,
13:21 I've got the notes
13:23 and I've got the recipe.
13:24 So the instructions, the recipe...
13:27 That's right. So you try it. And you let us know.
13:30 Let's know how it works.
13:32 But I remember growing up,
13:34 I had my cousin Roxie actually who taught me
13:38 how to make southern potato salad.
13:40 Potato salad, that's right.
13:41 Our grandmother, Grandma Labelle would make it
13:43 every Sunday where we go to big momma's houses
13:46 what it's known in the south.
13:47 You grandmother is called big momma.
13:48 That's where everyone came.
13:50 And everyone came in different times,
13:51 it wasn't all together.
13:53 Sometimes you'd run into, she had nine children.
13:54 And our dad is one of the young...
13:56 He was the youngest of her nine
13:58 or one of the youngest, Uncle George is younger.
14:00 But anyhow, we'd all meet up, cousins, aunties, uncles,
14:04 and she'd make this fabulous potato salads.
14:06 And we would always say...
14:08 And she passed away when we were in college.
14:11 So we have a lot of great cooks in our family
14:14 and our cousin Roxie is one.
14:17 And I remember when I was in college
14:19 and she came over to our house.
14:20 And she said, "I'm going to teach you
14:21 how to make potato salad."
14:23 So now we've done this and we put it little twist
14:26 because you know we add vinegar and all kind of things
14:28 but we've just put a little twist
14:30 and you know in place of vinegar,
14:31 you can use lemon, you know that, right?
14:34 So, I mean, there are so many wonderful things you can do
14:37 and we just love good food.
14:40 That is just they do.
14:42 Well, we all had that in common for sure.
14:45 So now that we've shown you how to eat it,
14:48 it's now time to juice it.
14:57 Now that we've shown you how to eat it,
14:59 it's now time to juice it.
15:02 All right.
15:03 So the juice we have today is a kale detox smoothie.
15:10 Can you read the ingredients please, Kim?
15:36 All right.
15:38 That sounds great.
15:39 Who's ready for detox?
15:40 Now wait, wait. Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.
15:43 Slow it down. Ready for detox?
15:44 No, I'm ready for a detox.
15:46 Why do we detox? Oh, come on.
15:47 Come on, Jay. Why do we need to detox?
15:48 Okay, why, all right.
15:50 Detox, it's just simply put.
15:52 It's very good just to cleanse the body.
15:56 Okay, we all need to cleanse.
15:58 We have a lot of toxins.
15:59 Internal, yes. Right.
16:01 It comes from the pesticides,
16:03 it comes from pollution or just different things
16:06 that we eat or the way things go
16:07 and sometimes we get a little slow, and things...
16:10 Before we know we're slowing along.
16:11 Packed up a little bit.
16:13 So it's great to give our body a rest.
16:14 God is so awesome that He's given us six days to work
16:17 and one day to rest, right.
16:19 So now we have the body who goes on...
16:23 It never stops, right? Just runs and runs and runs.
16:25 However, it's great sometimes for us
16:28 to get that rest, the bodies,
16:29 especially the digestive system to get that rest, okay?
16:32 How often do people detox?
16:34 Or how often should people detox, right,
16:35 would be my question?
16:37 Well, it depends.
16:38 It's just for well maintenance.
16:40 We'd say maybe once or twice a year.
16:42 I like to look at like this.
16:45 Every 3000 to 5000 miles,
16:47 you change the oil in your car, right?
16:49 So let's think about that long 30 foot colon in the body.
16:53 And our bodies are the temple of God.
16:56 So we need to like get the...
16:58 Care for our bodies. Sludge moving.
17:00 Better than we care for our car.
17:02 That's right.
17:03 So that's why it's so important for us
17:05 to really pay attention
17:06 to the things that we put in our bodies.
17:08 And it's great to give it a rest.
17:09 Sometimes a detox,
17:10 and when you detox, you feel energized.
17:13 Alive. Vitalized.
17:15 You feel renewed.
17:17 And you're just ready to take on the world.
17:18 You feel great.
17:20 You guys got me excited.
17:21 So you're going to stick around to...
17:23 No, I've got somewhere I need to be
17:27 but I'm going to let you guys
17:28 go ahead and get a detox on.
17:29 We didn't scare you off, did we?
17:31 No, no, no, no.
17:32 Well, thanks for joining us.
17:34 And we'll have your detox smoothie waiting.
17:36 I'm still trying to savor the flavor.
17:39 All right. So long day. Bye-bye.
17:41 Now this detox
17:43 is not for once a year or twice a year.
17:45 This is a light detox smoothie that you can take everyday.
17:48 You can drink it everyday on a regular basis
17:50 because it just...
17:52 What will detox you in this smoothie
17:54 is the flax seed.
17:55 And so this flax seed just helps to sweep the colon.
17:59 So you can do this, drink this everyday.
18:02 Right, and also another great things to remember is,
18:04 while we detox, we infuse great things
18:08 that are energizing to the cells in the body
18:11 which is what this kale will do for you.
18:13 This kale is full of vitamin K.
18:17 This kale is full of potassium.
18:20 Did you know that kale has more calcium than cow's milk?
18:24 Did you know that?
18:25 Like this is why they call it the super food.
18:27 So while we're using the broom sweeper,
18:30 we're infusing it
18:31 with some great delicious kale ingredients.
18:33 What is the broom sweeper?
18:34 The flax seed. The flax seed, all right.
18:36 The sweeper. Sweeper.
18:38 So let's get out smoothie going here,
18:41 our detox smoothie.
18:43 So we're gonna add...
18:44 So we're going to pour the flax seeds.
18:46 Then we'll add some water in this one.
18:48 We didn't put juice in this one.
18:50 We just put plain water
18:51 because we're going to just use
18:53 this sweetener of the dates or optional honey.
18:56 And we have dates today.
18:57 We have an apple, that's also sweet.
18:59 We have a nice sweet, green Granny Smith organic apple.
19:03 I'm just going to take out the seeds
19:06 and throw it in there.
19:08 That's right.
19:09 And we have our dates
19:10 which is also high in magnesium, dates.
19:15 All right.
19:16 And let's put the almonds,
19:18 put our power pack protein almonds in there.
19:23 Put some ice, three, four cups of ice.
19:31 Then our super food, kale.
19:33 Our super kale.
19:35 So while we detoxing,
19:38 we're fusing and feeding the cells.
19:40 All right, Jan, set it up on that Vitamix
19:42 and let's whiz away.
19:44 One up.
19:45 Okay.
20:06 Okay. Now we want it...
20:08 Let this run maybe just a little longer
20:10 than the average smoothie.
20:11 I mean, if you'd like to eat
20:13 chopped up kales in your smoothie,
20:14 but it is a smoothie, it should be nice and smooth.
20:16 So we want to make sure
20:18 that we get all the kale nice and smooth,
20:21 all the dates nice and smooth and the almonds,
20:24 otherwise we kind of drinking and chomping.
20:26 But I mean, if that's to your liking,
20:28 you know, then that's fine
20:29 'cause you know it's better on nice and smooth.
20:31 So let's try one more time, let give it another whiz.
20:44 Okay. All right.
20:46 That should be nice and smooth. Right.
20:47 So we just pour it on.
20:50 Okay, so let's...
20:53 All right. Fill those cups up.
20:56 Let me get some straws.
20:57 As we prepare detox,
21:02 cleanse our bodies.
21:04 All right. All right.
21:06 Here we go.
21:07 Here is the detox, ladies.
21:09 Cheers. Sorry, Jan.
21:11 You left me hanging, you left me hanging.
21:12 Okay.
21:19 It's really thick,
21:20 so you see we need some power.
21:23 So get that...
21:26 So slurp it up but it's tasty.
21:28 Very tasty. Very tasty.
21:30 Like I said, you want to make sure
21:32 you keep the almonds going,
21:34 so you let it go a little longer
21:36 because you have almonds in there.
21:37 But it's still good, it's smooth...
21:39 Very good.
21:40 And it's edible, it's drinkable,
21:43 and it's great for the body.
21:45 It's great for the body.
21:47 And I like the ice,
21:48 it gives it like a cool, refreshing taste.
21:52 Refreshing feeling just in the body as you drink.
21:54 Very good, I like that.
21:55 Very good.
21:57 So now that we've had a wonderful day
22:00 and we've shown you how to eat
22:03 divine southern style sweet potato salad,
22:08 delicious herb incrusted, infuse crispy tofu.
22:14 Tofu.
22:16 We've shown you how to eat it now.
22:17 That's right. Yes.
22:18 We've shown you how to drink... How to drink it.
22:20 This wonderful detox smoothie.
22:22 As you drink it and you take in
22:24 and ingest all the wonderful things
22:26 that it has for your body.
22:29 We are now going to show you how to wear it.
22:38 Eat it. All right.
22:39 Juice it.
22:40 Wear it.
22:42 Whose turn to wear?
22:43 All right. It's my turn.
22:44 It's your turn, Jan. You're in the hot seat.
22:46 Okay. You're in the hot seat.
22:47 So what's our masque today, Kim?
22:49 Well, today we're not having
22:50 exactly what we would call a masque.
22:52 We are doing something a little different.
22:55 The potato under eye remedy,
22:58 consists of one small raw potato
23:01 thinly sliced and placed under your eye.
23:05 Okay. That simple?
23:07 That simple. That simple.
23:08 Do you mean to tell me that this little potato...
23:11 That's right.
23:12 Can do something to my eye. It sure can.
23:14 But what is it going to do to my eye?
23:15 Well...
23:18 'Cause you're the one wearing that on, right?
23:19 That's right.
23:21 So please let me know.
23:22 You have beautiful brown eyes Janeth has.
23:23 It just happened to me very big.
23:25 Open them up so they can see.
23:26 That's right.
23:27 Sometimes because of life we get very stressed,
23:31 we stay up late, we don't get enough sleep
23:35 and what happens?
23:36 We get the dark circles.
23:40 Raccoon eyes.
23:42 Who likes raccoon eyes?
23:43 Not me. No, nobody.
23:46 So we're going to do this quick remedy
23:48 and show you how to get rid of the raccoon eyes.
23:52 Okay. It's a very simple method.
23:55 We're going to thinly slice the potato.
23:59 Can you see this?
24:00 It's thinly sliced. Yeah, we see that.
24:02 And, Taisha, just to show another way we can do this.
24:06 I like you to grate this potato.
24:08 This is another way.
24:09 So you want grate the skin or the potato, does it matter?
24:10 No, just grate the inside to me.
24:12 Okay.
24:13 Okay, you can also grate it.
24:16 And you can... Oops.
24:17 You can also... There goes potato.
24:19 That potato did not want to be used.
24:20 You can also mix when you grate it,
24:22 the potato with things like cucumber
24:25 which is very moisturizing with the potato
24:28 and it helps to lighten the area
24:32 so that it can look normal again.
24:34 It moisturizes and lighten the area of the eyes.
24:36 So do you mean to tell me that it will reduce like,
24:39 swelling and puffiness as well as raccoon eyes?
24:41 That's right.
24:42 So the potato reduces the swelling and puffiness
24:45 in on our eyes, okay?
24:47 That's because of the enzymes, the catecholase.
24:50 That's right, Taisha.
24:52 There it is. That's right.
24:53 Can you imagine how great and awesome our creator is.
24:56 Yes, the God is amazing.
24:58 I mean, our food can be our medicine
25:00 and our medicine can be...
25:01 And it can even be our make-up like, you know...
25:03 That's right. Help us look a lot better.
25:04 Potato, puffy, you know, or cream.
25:06 Hook me up because I have bags under my eyes.
25:07 Oh, okay, back to the model.
25:09 So we're going to place this gently
25:12 under Jan's eye,
25:17 covering the dark circle.
25:18 Taisha, would you place this on her?
25:19 Do I have a dark circle?
25:21 What are you trying to say? Oh, boy.
25:22 I guess I need some sleep at night.
25:24 Did you stay up late last night?
25:25 I think I did.
25:26 I'm gonna call you raccoon eyes from now on.
25:28 I guess, I see it.
25:29 I'm busted, I stayed up late.
25:31 If you want to you can also...
25:32 we're not doing this on Jan, but I'll place it on my hand.
25:34 No, let's do it on Jan.
25:35 No.
25:37 They will probably dry, but you can see the effect,
25:40 if we can get a close up on that on my hand.
25:44 And you basically place this little...
25:47 Poultice mix.
25:48 Poultice mix right under the eye.
25:50 Can you see that? Oh, I can see it.
25:52 So how long do we leave it on our face, Kim?
25:54 So we would leave it on the eye for 20 minutes the minimum.
25:59 You could sleep with it as well.
26:01 Wow.
26:02 If you live alone.
26:04 Potatoes are high in potassium. Yes.
26:07 Potato is such a wonderful food
26:10 and it's so diverse,
26:11 I mean, you go from slamming...
26:15 Put your toe in it, a clean toe potato salad.
26:18 I mean, that's some good potato salad.
26:21 And then I mean, you take it and you can just bake it
26:24 and add whatever toppings,
26:26 you know, and then you can use it for your eye.
26:30 You know, I mean, that's, I mean we search...
26:32 Multi searches.
26:33 The potatoes are also a very natural bleaching agent.
26:37 It's over a period of time.
26:39 So if you have blotches all over your skin, acne.
26:43 Even tone skin.
26:44 On even complexion, you can use this poultice,
26:47 or you can juice it, or you can just place it,
26:50 the thinly slice potatoes
26:52 on the different areas of your skin
26:53 where you would like to, you know...
26:56 See the areas...
26:57 See the areas lighten gradually and it will happen so...
27:01 So much filled in this little ball of a potato.
27:04 What an awesome and mighty God we serve.
27:07 Whatsoever you eat
27:09 and whatsoever you drink to all to the glory God
27:12 'cause He is so wonderful and amazing.
27:13 Amen, amen.
27:15 So we had such a wonderful time with you today
27:17 showing you how to eat it,
27:19 how to juice it
27:21 and now wear it.
27:22 It's time for us to say good-bye.
27:24 Until next time...
27:27 I like healthy food
27:30 That tastes so good
27:32 I like to eat good food
27:34 What to say now?
27:36 I like to eat good food
27:39 I like to eat
27:41 Good food
27:46 Bye until next time. Bye until next time.
