00:26 Welcome to the Search for Certainty.
00:28 It's good to see you all here again 00:30 as we continue on this journey through God's word 00:34 and discovering how we can be prepared 00:37 for the soon return of Jesus. 00:39 As we are all aware, 00:40 we live in times of great uncertainty 00:43 but I thank God for His word 00:45 that in His word we can have certainty. 00:48 We can discover real hope for the future in His word 00:50 and today's the third presentation in this series 00:54 as we take a look at the most important signs 00:58 that Jesus gave us 00:59 that will indeed usher in His second coming. 01:02 I've entitled this message 01:04 the grand climax of human history. 01:09 I want to begin by asking the question 01:11 that many people are asking, 01:12 and that is "how will this world end?" 01:16 There are a number of suggestions 01:18 that have been put forward, 01:19 the first one being global nuclear war. 01:23 And as we discovered in our previous presentation 01:25 for the first time in human history 01:27 we have the capability to actually destroy our world 01:31 many times over through nuclear means. 01:34 A doomsday asteroid, 01:36 as we know there is many of them 01:38 floating around not far from planet earth, 01:41 will one of them usher in the end as we know it, 01:44 a fatal disease. 01:46 Jesus spoke of fatal diseases, He spoke of pestilences. 01:49 Will it be a fatal disease 01:51 that wipes out humans on planet earth 01:55 or will it global warming as many are predicting? 01:59 How will this world end? 02:01 If you speak to Hollywood, 02:03 Hollywood has many ideas 02:05 and they've put out many movies in recent times, 02:09 end of days movies including the latest one 2012 02:15 which based on the Mayan Calendar 02:18 supposedly predicted the end of the world 02:21 on December 21, 2012. 02:24 How will this world end? 02:27 Today we're not gonna go to Hollywood, 02:29 today instead as always 02:31 we're going go to God's Holy Word. 02:34 We're gonna discover in God's Holy Word, 02:37 how this world will indeed reach its grand climax. 02:41 But as always before we open up God's word, 02:43 what do we need to do? 02:45 We need to pray. 02:46 We need to pray that the same Holy Spirit 02:48 that inspired the pages of this book 02:51 will inspire us through the words of Jesus today. 02:55 So let's just do that right now and pray and ask God to lead. 02:58 Father in Heaven, 03:00 we humbly ask and pray 03:02 that the same Holy Spirit that inspired 03:05 the writers of the Bible with Your word, 03:07 Father that that same Holy Spirit will inspire us. 03:12 Impress upon us the words of Jesus. 03:15 These beautiful words that are designed to prepare us 03:19 to be ready for the soon return 03:22 of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. 03:24 So as we open Your word, 03:26 open our hearts and our minds 03:27 for we pray this in Jesus name, amen, amen. 03:31 Once again, I'd like to take us all to the city of Jerusalem. 03:36 The City of Jerusalem, 03:38 that beautiful ancient city that... 03:39 I've had the privilege of going to 03:41 and it was a wonderful experience. 03:44 The city of Jerusalem 03:45 where Jesus spent His final hours 03:49 before the crucifixion. 03:51 On one occasion, Matthew records the words 03:54 that Jesus shared with His disciples 03:57 and what took place. 03:58 We've been to these words before 04:00 and let's go there again today as we begin this journey. 04:04 Matthew records, 04:07 "Then Jesus went out and departed from the temple, 04:10 and His disciples came up to show Him 04:13 the buildings of the temple." 04:15 Now the temple was a magnificent building. 04:19 It was the pride of the nation. 04:22 And so the disciples wanted to cheer Jesus up, 04:26 because if you're reading the preceding verses 04:29 in Matthew 23, 04:30 Jesus leaves the temple for the last time 04:33 and He says your house is left to you desolate. 04:36 He weeps over Jerusalem 04:38 and the people of Jerusalem 04:40 that have rejected their Messiah 04:42 and the destruction that will come upon Jerusalem. 04:45 And so the disciples are trying to cheer up Jesus 04:47 and they're saying look at this temple, 04:49 this magnificent temple. 04:51 Notice in the Book of Mark, 04:54 what Mark records the disciples sharing with Jesus, 04:57 Teacher, see what manner of stones 05:00 and what buildings are here!" 05:02 I mean, the temple was built with stones 05:06 that were up to 60 tons, 05:09 some 90 feet long or I should say 60 feet long, 05:15 9 feet wide, 9 feet high, 05:18 this was an incredible building that King Herod have lavished 05:21 with much gold and just the best resources available 05:26 in the then known world. 05:28 It really was a beautiful building. 05:30 But notice here what Jesus says to the disciples. 05:33 In Matthew 24:2-3 and Jesus said to them, 05:37 "Do you not see all these things? 05:38 That is this temple, these incredible stones? 05:42 Assuredly, I say to you, 05:43 not one stone shall be left here upon another, 05:46 that shall not be thrown down." 05:48 Now, as far as the disciples were concerned 05:51 they equated the destruction of the temple, 05:54 the pride of the nation of Israel, 05:57 they associated the destruction of the temple 06:00 with the second coming of Jesus. 06:02 And so they thought it would be the one 06:04 and the same event. 06:06 Jesus then in our previous presentation 06:09 we discovered gave the disciples signs 06:13 that would bring about the destruction of Jerusalem, 06:16 or signs that would precede the destruction of Jerusalem. 06:19 Those same signs 06:21 would not only precede the destruction of Jerusalem 06:23 but as we've discovered thus far, 06:25 those same signs would also precede 06:27 the second coming of Jesus. 06:31 Signs in the religious world, 06:33 signs in the world of politics 06:37 where there would be wars and rumors of wars, 06:38 earthquakes, famines, pestilences, 06:40 all these things preceded 06:43 the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 AD, 06:46 some 40 years after Jesus shared this prophecy. 06:50 Now, what happened in 70 AD? 06:53 The Roman General Titus, 06:55 he surrounded and besieged the city of Jerusalem 07:00 and in 70 AD, 07:03 he ultimately was able to overthrow the city 07:06 and the temple was destroyed. 07:09 Even though Titus gave clear commands 07:12 that the temple was not to be touched, 07:16 one of the soldiers threw in a flame 07:20 and the temple just went up in smoke. 07:24 Now, it's interesting that the words of Jesus 07:26 that He shared concerning 07:28 not one stone being left upon another were fulfilled. 07:32 Because once the fires died down, 07:35 the soldiers realized that 07:36 there was an enormous amount of gold 07:39 that had become imbedded in between the stones 07:42 and in order to get to that gold, 07:45 what did they do? 07:46 They pulled every stone apart, and so the words of Jesus, 07:51 not one stone shall be left upon another 07:53 were fulfilled to the very letter. 07:57 Now, Jesus gave them warnings. 08:00 Jesus gave an opportunity 08:01 for those that would heed His word to escape. 08:04 Notice what we find in Matthew 24:15, 16. 08:09 "Therefore when you see the 'abomination of desolation' 08:12 spoken of by Daniel the prophet, 08:14 standing in the holy place, 08:16 whoever reads let him understand, 08:18 Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains." 08:21 Now, what was Jesus here speaking of 08:23 when He was speaking of these prophecy 08:26 given in the book of Daniel concerning 08:28 the abomination of desolation. 08:30 Well, in Daniel 9, 08:31 there is a prophecy concerning the destruction of Jerusalem. 08:36 We don't have time to get into that today, but they, 08:39 the Prophet Daniel described 08:40 what would happen at the end of the nation of Israel 08:46 as far as God's chosen ambassadors to the world, 08:50 and what would bring an end to that? 08:52 Now, Jesus here says, 08:54 whoever reads let him understand, 08:58 let him understand. 09:00 Those who read the words of Jesus 09:03 understood that this was a clear sign 09:05 that the destruction of Jerusalem was imminent. 09:08 In fact, in Luke 21:20, 09:13 notice what Jesus here said, 09:15 "But when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, 09:18 then know that its desolation is near." 09:22 Before 70 AD, 09:24 the Roman sent their General Cestius Gallus in 67 AD 09:29 and he surrounded Jerusalem for the first time. 09:32 However mysteriously his stories are not quite sure 09:35 what happen but mysteriously he just drew back. 09:39 As Cestius was on the verge of overtaking Jerusalem, 09:42 he drew back and the Jewish army chased him 09:46 and killed many soldiers of the Romans. 09:50 Now, the Christians saw that as the sign, 09:54 they saw that as the sign, 09:55 its desolation is near 09:57 and every single Christian that heeded the words of Jesus, 10:01 they immediately left Jerusalem 10:03 and they went away to a city called Pella. 10:07 There in modern day Jordan today 10:09 where they escaped 10:10 and where they were able to live on. 10:12 In 70 AD three years later, 10:15 Titus came and there was no second chance. 10:18 Did Jesus give the warning? 10:19 He absolutely gave the warning. 10:21 I love this promise in the Book of Amos 3:7, 10:25 "Surely the Lord God does" what? 10:28 "Nothing, unless He reveals 10:29 His secret to His servants the prophets." 10:31 This is a wonderful promise that God gives us in His word. 10:34 God doesn't do anything of eternal significance 10:38 that affects you and affects me, 10:40 affects this world, 10:41 without Him for sharing that message 10:43 through His servants the prophets 10:45 who write it in this book, the Bible. 10:49 Every single person in Jerusalem 10:53 who heeded the words of Jesus 10:55 that He gave some 40 years before its destruction 10:58 saved their lives. 11:00 Sadly more than a million Jews lost their lives 11:04 when Jerusalem was overthrown 11:05 but not one Christian died during that siege. 11:09 Like Jerusalem of old, 11:11 Jesus predicted that our world before His coming 11:15 would also face a stupendous crisis. 11:19 Notice these words that we find in Matthew 24:21-22, 11:25 "for then there will be great" what? 11:28 " Tribulation, such as has not been 11:30 since the beginning of the world until this time, 11:33 no, nor ever shall be. 11:34 And unless those days were shortened, 11:37 no flesh would be saved, 11:38 but for the elect's sake those days will be shortened." 11:42 Now, this is a prophecy concerning the end of time 11:46 as well as a period in history known as the dark ages. 11:50 Two periods of time, 11:52 one that lasted more than a thousand years. 11:55 It was the longest period of persecution and tribulation. 11:58 The other at the end of time is a short period of time 12:02 but the intensity of that persecution will be 12:05 like at no other time in human history. 12:08 So Jesus said there would be 12:10 this great tribulation at the end of time. 12:13 Now the Book of Daniel gives us some more insights. 12:17 In Daniel 12:1, 12:21 Daniel wrote these words, 12:22 "At that time Michael, 12:24 and Michael here is another name for Christ, 12:27 Michael simply means one who is like God. 12:31 Michael 'O Christ shall stand up 12:34 the great prince who stands watch 12:35 over the sons of your people, 12:37 and there shall be a time of trouble 12:39 such as never was since there was a nation, 12:41 even to that time. 12:42 And at that time your people shall be delivered, 12:45 every one who is found written in the book." 12:47 Wow! 12:49 So the Book of Daniel is describing a time of trouble 12:53 at the end of time 12:54 such as this world has never experienced. 12:57 Now has this world seen some time of trouble? 13:00 Absolutely, we have seen some turbulent times, 13:03 especially in the past century, World War I, World War II, 13:07 terrible times but that will not compare 13:10 according to the Book of Daniel to what is coming. 13:13 Now, here Daniel speaks of each person 13:17 who is written in the book is delivered 13:22 at that time of trouble. 13:23 Now what is that book? 13:25 Notice the words that we find in the Book of Revelation 3:5, 13:32 "He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, 13:35 and I will not blot out his name 13:36 from the book of" what? 13:38 "The book life, but I will confess his name 13:40 before My father and before His angels." 13:42 So this book that Daniel speaks of is the book of life. 13:47 A wonderful book of life. 13:49 You know, the Bible gives us another name 13:51 for this book of life. 13:53 Notice these words 13:54 that we find in the Book of Malachi 3:16. 13:59 "Then those who feared the Lord spoke to one another, 14:01 and the Lord listened and heard them, 14:03 So a book of" what?" 14:05 "Of remembrance was written before Him 14:07 for those who fear the Lord and who meditate on His name." 14:10 So the book of life is also referred to 14:12 as the book of remembrance. 14:14 Now what's so significant about the book of remembrance? 14:18 If we go together to the words of Jesus 14:21 in Matthew 24:37, 14:23 notice what Jesus said, 14:25 "But as the days of Noah were, 14:27 so also will the coming of the Son of Man be." 14:30 Now, we've already looked at the days of Noah 14:33 as far as the social world is concerned 14:35 but now let's take a look at something 14:37 that we haven't looked at thus far. 14:40 I want to share with you 14:41 something that is absolutely fascinating 14:44 and incredible that I discovered 14:45 only a short time ago. 14:47 Before I do, I want to ask you to think about archery. 14:52 How many are you familiar with archery? 14:54 Okay, you all familiar with darts? 14:57 Where is the greatest score in archery to be found? 15:01 In the very center, okay. 15:04 In the very center there you have 15:06 what we call a bull's eye, 15:07 isn't that right? 15:09 We have the bull's eye. 15:10 Now the way the Hebrews wrote 15:12 and the way the story of Noah is written 15:15 is that the most important part of the story is guess where, 15:20 in the center, in the middle, the bull's eye. 15:23 Now I have placed for you here the story of Noah. 15:29 Okay, the first part, 15:31 the seven days of waiting for the rain 15:33 corresponds with the last part of the story, 15:35 seven days of waiting to send the second bird. 15:39 The second part, 15:40 seven days of waiting for the flood 15:42 corresponds with the second last 15:43 seven days of waiting to send the first bird. 15:46 And so on and so forth 15:47 you can see that up there on the screen. 15:49 Notice what is in the very centre of the story of Noah. 15:53 Notice the bull's eye of the story, 15:54 the most important part of the story is this. 15:58 God remembered Noah. 16:01 Isn't that wonderful? 16:04 We read earlier on that there is a book of remembrance, 16:08 and the Bible says that God remembered Noah. 16:10 What did Jesus say, as it was in the days of Noah, 16:14 so what will be just before I come, 16:17 so those individuals who are in my book of life, 16:20 in my book of remembrance, 16:22 they will be safe and secure just like Noah 16:25 and His family was safe and secured. 16:26 Isn't that good news? 16:27 That is great news. 16:29 The days of Noah are not all about 16:32 doom and gloom, 16:33 and lawlessness, and corruption, and violence, 16:36 and population explosions. 16:38 Yes, that is all part of the days of Noah. 16:41 But the best thing about the days of Noah is that 16:43 God remembered Noah, 16:45 and God will remember you and God will remember me, 16:48 I love what Genesis 6:8 says, 16:52 "But Noah found" what? 16:54 "Grace in the eyes of the Lord." 16:57 Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord, 17:00 so how can you, how can I, 17:02 how can we find grace in the eyes of the Lord? 17:05 How can we just like Noah be ready for the coming of Jesus? 17:10 Noah and his family, they were ready for the flood, 17:12 weren't they? 17:13 How can we be ready for the coming of Jesus? 17:16 Today, we want to take a look 17:17 at the most important sign of all, 17:20 the one that has everything to do 17:22 with your preparation and mine. 17:24 The one that will prepare us to also find grace 17:28 in the eyes of the Lord. 17:29 The one that will prepare us 17:31 then it doesn't matter the time of trouble 17:33 that we are living in 17:34 that our names will be firmly found written 17:37 in the Lamb's Book of Life 17:39 as the Book of Revelation puts it. 17:41 So today we want to take a look at the most important sign, 17:45 the sign in the religious world. 17:48 We take a look at, 17:50 we've taken a look at signs in the political world 17:51 and the world of nature 17:53 and we've taken a look at signs in the social world 17:56 and we have looked at signs in the economic world. 17:58 But today the most important sign, 18:00 signs in the religious world. 18:04 Let's go the words of Jesus. 18:05 Once again we've been there before briefly 18:07 but now we want to unpack this all important sign, 18:10 a little more carefully. 18:12 Matthew 24:4, 5 18:14 Jesus went on and after he was asked the question, 18:17 will this bring the end of the world? 18:20 The destruction of Jerusalem, notice what Jesus said, 18:23 in Matthew 24:4, 5 and Jesus answered 18:27 and said to them that is to his disciples. 18:29 "Take heed that no one" what? 18:31 "Deceives you. 18:33 For many will come in My name, saying, 18:34 "I am the Christ, 'and will deceive many." 18:36 The very first thing that Jesus says is watch out, 18:40 there will be great deception. 18:42 Not only prior to the destruction of Jerusalem 18:45 but more importantly as far as we are concerned 18:48 some 2000 years on before the coming of Jesus, 18:52 watch out deception will be something 18:56 that will be everywhere 18:58 and that especially in the religious world. 18:59 In fact, they were deceived as we'll discover up here, 19:01 it's not once, not twice 19:03 but some four times in this chapter. 19:06 "For many will come in my name saying, 19:07 'I am the Christ, ' and will deceive many." 19:10 Many have claimed to be Christ. 19:11 David Koresh, some of you are familiar 19:14 with David Koresh in 1993, 19:17 sadly him and his follower 19:20 died in that terrible tragedy there in Waco. 19:24 Here in Australia, 19:26 we have our own version of Jesus Christ, 19:29 an individual by the name of Alan Miller, 19:31 he lives in Queensland there in 19:33 what's considered to the Bible Belt, 19:35 and his followers believe that he is Jesus Christ. 19:39 His wife who is Mary Luck says that she is Mary Magdalene. 19:45 And so there are men and women that are part of this commune. 19:49 In fact he was on Current Affair not so, 19:52 well a number of years of ago, 19:54 he was on one of our news programs 19:57 on television on Current Affair, 19:58 he has his own website entitled Divine Truth, 20:03 and he has on there welcome by Jesus and Mary. 20:08 Welcome by Jesus and Mary. 20:11 Now you may be thinking, 20:12 I'm not gonna get caught up in following a David Koresh 20:16 or in following an Alan Miller, 20:18 and that's true. 20:19 That's true, 20:21 the majority of us will not get caught up 20:23 in something like that. 20:25 However the significance of Jesus' words is 20:27 that there will be many false christs 20:30 at the end of time. 20:32 Now Jesus Himself said in John 14:6, 20:34 "I am the way and the" what? 20:36 "The truth and the life." 20:38 Anyone, anyone no matter who they are, 20:41 who is teaching a different way of salvation, 20:44 is teaching a different way to heaven is a false christ. 20:50 They are sharing something 20:52 that takes people away from Christ, 20:55 takes people away from the plans 20:57 that He has for them in His word. 21:00 Jesus also went on in Matthew 24:11, 21:03 He said that many false prophets will rise up 21:05 and deceive many. 21:07 There have been many false prophets 21:09 down through the centuries. 21:11 One recent false prophet that predicted the coming of Jesus, 21:15 I mean, 2011 was a gentleman by the name of Harold Camping. 21:19 How many of you remember hearing about Harold Camping? 21:21 He's passed away now but he predicted that 21:24 Jesus would come secretly on May 21, 2011 21:29 and in five months later, 21:30 he would come gloriously. 21:33 Now, a false prophet, 21:36 who is a false prophet ultimately? 21:39 A prophet is someone who speaks on behalf of God. 21:42 Someone who claims that they have truth from God. 21:46 So a false prophet is someone 21:48 who is sharing something with others 21:51 that is not based on the word of God. 21:53 For Jesus in John 17:17 He told us, 21:57 sanctify them by thy word, 21:59 thy word is what? Truth, 22:01 God's word is truth. 22:04 And so anyone that shares with you anything 22:08 that is not based on God's word, 22:11 they are ultimately a false prophet. 22:13 Not in the sense of Harold Camping 22:16 but in the sense that 22:17 they are not sharing a message from God. 22:20 The margin between truth and error is minimal. 22:25 That's why deception is so powerful 22:27 because it's almost like the real deal but not quite. 22:31 It is so close, yet so far away. 22:35 Let me illustrate. 22:37 Notice this word up on the screen. 22:40 You probably haven't come across this word, have you? 22:43 No, it's not a word that we have in our dictionary. 22:48 Let me break this word up into three words 22:50 and that might help or forward I should say. 22:54 God is no where. 22:57 That's how you can spell this one word, 22:59 God is no where, 23:00 or you can spell this word like this, 23:03 God is now here. 23:05 Is there a difference between these two sentences? 23:09 Absolutely, there is a world of difference. 23:11 What have we done? 23:12 We have just simply moved one letter. 23:14 We've moved the W 23:17 at the end of N-O 23:19 instead of at the beginning of here 23:21 and we have a world of difference. 23:24 That's how deception works. 23:25 Deception is so close to the original 23:29 but it is deadly dangerous. 23:31 And that's why the enemy is a deceiver, 23:33 and that's why Jesus said, 23:35 the very first thing that Jesus said 23:36 when He gave signs of His coming 23:38 and signs of the destruction of Jerusalem, 23:39 He said, watch out. 23:41 There will be great deception just before our return. 23:45 Now you may be thinking, 23:47 will it be some serious signs out there 23:49 warning me of false prophets and false christs? 23:52 Do I really have to be concerned? 23:55 Notice what Jesus said in Matthew 24:24 and onwards, 23:59 "For false christs and false prophets will rise 24:02 and show great" what? 24:03 "Great signs or great miracles and wonders to deceive, 24:07 if possible, even who, the very elect." 24:10 Who are the elect? 24:11 The elect are those they claim to be Christians. 24:13 Those who claim to be followers of Christ. 24:15 Those who claim to read the Bible, 24:19 Jesus says watch out. 24:21 He says look, "I have told beforehand. 24:24 Therefore if they say to you, 'Look, He is in the desert!' 24:28 do not go away out, or "Look, 24:30 He is in the inner rooms!' do not believe it." 24:32 Now this statement of Jesus is astounding, 24:35 why is that? 24:37 You might not have picked this up before. 24:38 It's astounding because Jesus moves from false christs, 24:43 plural, to false Christ, 24:45 he, is in the singular. 24:47 What Jesus here is warning us about is that 24:51 before He comes there will be someone 24:53 that will seek to deceive the world 24:57 into believing that he is the Christ 25:00 who is long awaited and he has arrived. 25:03 Now who do you think that might be 25:05 that will want to steal the attention of God's people 25:10 for himself and claim that he is the Christ? 25:14 It's Satan, absolutely. 25:16 He is the one, 25:18 he is the one that wants to deceive the world 25:21 when it matters most. 25:22 Do we have anywhere in scripture 25:24 where we can see more evidence 25:27 for this possibly taking place. 25:29 Notice what the Apostle Paul writes 25:32 in 2 Corinthians 11:14, 25:34 he writes, "And no wonder! 25:37 For Satan himself transforms himself 25:39 into an angel of light." 25:41 Satan has the power to transform himself 25:45 into an angel of light, 25:46 so unless we know God's word, 25:49 unless we are grounded in God's word, 25:52 even the elect can be deceived. 25:56 Even the elect can be deceived. 25:58 Jesus goes on and He shares what His coming will look like. 26:01 Notice these words, Matthew 24:27, 26:04 "For as the lightning comes from the east 26:06 and flashes to the west, 26:08 so also will the coming of the Son of Man be." 26:12 This Satan will not be able to duplicate. 26:15 Satan will not be able to counterfeit 26:18 this all important sign. 26:19 When Jesus comes, He will not appear here, 26:23 He will not appear there to a group available. 26:25 You will not have to turn on your TV 26:27 to realize that Jesus has come. 26:29 You won't see Him on the news. 26:31 Every eye will see Him, the Book of Revelation says. 26:34 As lightning comes from the east 26:36 and shines through the west, 26:38 every single person will be able to see 26:41 the coming of Jesus. 26:43 Extremely important that we read God's word, 26:46 we study it, we follow it. 26:48 God's word is absolutely fundamental. 26:51 We must know God's word. 26:53 This is the most important sign of all. 26:57 It's elementary as they say. 27:00 It's of no use to you 27:02 and to me to know all these signs 27:04 that we have looked at thus far 27:06 and not know God's word. 27:08 For knowing God's word is what matters most 27:11 at the end of the day, and that's why 27:13 this is the most important sign of all. 27:16 Let me illustrate how important it is to know God's word. 27:21 Several years ago, two or three not quite sure, 27:25 my mother and I were discussing and chatting, 27:28 she lives down near, 27:31 down in Victoria in a place called Pyalong. 27:34 Has anyone heard of Pyalong? 27:36 No, you haven't, 27:37 no one here heard of Pyalong. 27:39 It's a place near a town called Kilmore. 27:42 Anyone heard of Kilmore? 27:43 Got a couple of you. 27:45 The rest of you, have you heard of Melbourne? 27:46 Anyone here heard of Melbourne? 27:47 Okay, it's about an hour and half away from Melbourne. 27:51 I live on this beautiful four acre hobby farm. 27:52 But anyway I'm chatting to my mom, 27:54 we kind of try and talk as often as we can. 27:58 And she says to me, Danny, guess what? 28:00 I'm like, what!? 28:01 She goes "You wouldn't believe 28:03 what's taking place in a little town 28:05 there in Kilmore. 28:06 There is a circulation of fake $50 bills, 28:10 and I think I have some counterfeit $50 bills 28:14 and I'm like really, 28:15 I mean nothing ever happens in Pyalong. 28:17 Okay, nothing ever happened, 28:20 and all of a sudden there is news, 28:22 and she says this is the story 28:26 and she begin sharing with me, 28:28 she says why don't you check your $50 bills 28:30 to see you may have a counterfeit $50 bill as well. 28:33 I'm like, okay, so I scramble around the house, 28:35 I don't gave any money like that, 28:37 flooding around in my wallet, so guess where I have to go? 28:40 I've to go and talk to my wife 28:41 and ask her to give me money from her wallet, 28:43 isn't that how it goes? 28:45 Well, it goes like that in my family, 28:46 and anyway she kindly gave me two $50 notes, 28:50 or several $50 notes, 28:52 and as I'm talking with my mom, 28:54 she says this is a counterfeit $50 bill if you have this, 28:59 and I'm like what? 29:00 And you can see it up there on the screen. 29:03 My mom was trying to share with me that 29:05 that top picture that you see there of the $50 is counterfeit 29:09 because it doesn't have the name of the person. 29:13 See that they, can you all see that? 29:16 Can you see something there? 29:17 Edith Cowan, that supposedly the original, 29:21 the top one is the fake. 29:23 And I'm like really, 29:25 and she says there is more Danny. 29:26 And I'm like, okay, turn to the back, 29:29 so I turn to the back and she says the original, 29:33 the original one not only has the name 29:35 at the bottom of the individual 29:38 whose picture is in the $50 Bill, 29:40 but at the top there in this corner over here 29:44 you have the governor of the Reserve Bank of Australia, 29:50 ahead of the secretary to the treasurer. 29:55 If it has it the other way around, 29:57 it's a fake, it's a fraud, 29:58 it's a counterfeit and I'm like really? 30:01 And she says to me really. 30:03 Well, while I'm chatting to her on the phone, 30:05 I decide that I'm going to check this out, 30:08 so I decide to go 30:09 to the Reserve Bank of Australia website 30:13 to check this out, 30:14 to see if this is really a genuine deal, 30:18 and because she had read about this in the newspaper 30:20 that there were this $50 30:23 counterfeit notes circulating, 30:25 and there I discovered some common myths about banknotes. 30:30 Notice these words. 30:31 Banknotes without the printed name below 30:34 the portrait are counterfeit. 30:36 That is a myth. 30:38 Notice, the fact: A banknote without the name of the person 30:41 below the portrait is not necessarily counterfeit. 30:44 Printed names were added 30:46 to Australian banknotes from 2002. 30:48 This was done to help the public identify the people 30:51 that our banknotes feature, and so on and so far. 30:54 Myth: The governor's signature is always above 30:58 the Secretary to the Treasury's. 31:00 Fact: The order of the signatures 31:02 on Australian banknotes was changed in 2002. 31:06 Wow, I said to my mom, 31:08 you don't need to go to the police 31:09 with your $50 notes. 31:11 You won't end up in jail, you'll be okay. 31:15 You have the original note. 31:18 Now what made the difference? 31:19 What made the difference was me checking out 31:22 whether this was true or not 31:25 with the Australian Reserve Bank. 31:27 And there on the website you have a number of ways 31:32 that you can spot a counterfeit banknote. 31:35 And so, today, 31:36 we live in a world where there is a lot of counterfeit. 31:39 There is a lot of deception. 31:40 How on earth that 31:42 we're gonna know the genuine from the false. 31:44 There is only one way my friends, 31:45 only one way and that is through what? 31:47 The word of God, 31:49 the only way you'll know the truth 31:50 from the error is from the word of God. 31:53 There is no other way. 31:55 Notice these words from Jesus 31:56 in John 8:31-32, 32:00 "Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed in Him, 32:02 "If you abide in My" what? 32:05 "In My word, you are My disciples indeed. 32:07 And you shall know the truth, 32:09 and the truth shall make you" what? 32:10 "Free." 32:12 The only way to know the truth is to abide in God's word. 32:16 And if you and I abide in God's word, 32:19 I can guarantee you based on what Jesus has said 32:22 that you will never ever be deceived. 32:26 Isn't that good news? 32:27 That's wonderful news. 32:29 The elect will not be deceived 32:30 as long as they abide in the word of Jesus Christ. 32:37 Notice what the Apostle Paul wrote in 2 Timothy 4:3-4 32:43 concerning the times 32:44 that we would be living in particular. 32:47 "For the time will come 32:49 when they will not endure sound doctrine, 32:51 but according to their own desires, 32:53 because they have itching ears, 32:55 they will heap up for themselves teachers, 32:57 and they will turn their ears away from the truth 33:00 and be turned aside to" what? 33:02 The Apostle Paul says the day is coming, 33:05 the day is coming and it began in his day 33:08 but as those labor pains intensified 33:11 as we have discovered over and over again, 33:14 deception will grow 33:16 and there will be more and more of God's professed people 33:21 who will turn their ears away from the truth 33:25 and instead they will focus on following fables. 33:30 We live in a Christian world today, 33:33 and I don't want to share this with you 33:34 but this is the reality. 33:36 We live in a Christian world today 33:38 where people are picking and choosing 33:40 what they will believe 33:42 and what they will follow from God's word. 33:44 Isn't that right? 33:45 That's absolutely right. 33:47 We live in a Christian world 33:49 that has a smorgasbord attitude towards God's truth. 33:54 You know what it's like in a smorgasbord, don't you? 33:56 You've been to a smorgasbord before. 33:58 You can pick and choose what you want to eat, 33:59 isn't that right? 34:01 You don't want to eat asparagus, 34:03 you don't need to eat a asparagus. 34:04 You can pick and choose, 34:05 there is an abundance 34:07 to pick and choose, 34:09 that's not how God wants us to treat His word. 34:12 God wants us to follow every word 34:16 that proceeds from the mouth of God. 34:19 That is the only way we will remain true to God. 34:22 I love this poem that I come across, 34:24 I'm not quite sure who the author is 34:28 but it's a beautiful poem that sums up what my attitude is, 34:32 and I pray that what your attitude will be to God's word. 34:35 What says the Bible, The blessed Bible to me, 34:38 The teachings of men so Often mislead me, 34:41 What says the Bible, The blessed Bible to me. 34:44 This my only question be, What says the Bible, 34:47 The blessed Bible to me. 34:48 Amen. 34:50 Isn't that a wonderful statement? 34:52 Who cares what I think and with all due respect, 34:55 who cares what you think, amen. 34:58 What God says that's all that matters, 35:01 for God's word alone holds water. 35:05 Nothing else in this world but God's word alone. 35:10 God is inviting us to spend time in his word. 35:14 God is inviting us to get to know 35:16 Jesus through His word. 35:18 We discovered the last time 35:19 we were together that Jesus said 35:22 this is eternal life that they may know Him, 35:26 the only true God and Jesus Christ 35:28 whom You have sent. 35:29 John 17:3, 35:31 "Eternal life is found in knowing Jesus Christ. 35:35 It is found in a relationship with Jesus Christ. 35:38 It is found in spending time with Jesus Christ. 35:42 We need to get our faces into God's book 35:45 rather than on Facebook, 35:47 if you know what I mean. 35:49 Nothing wrong with Facebook, 35:50 but if Facebook's taking your eyes away from God's book, 35:53 well, then there is a problem. 35:55 It's time for us to spend time in God's word. 35:58 And I want to encourage you, 36:00 just wherever you are to spend more time in this book 36:05 and learn of the wonderful messages that God has for us. 36:09 Well, we want to go to our... 36:12 to our final, 36:14 and our greatest sign that will usher 36:17 in the grand climax of human history. 36:21 This is the most important sign of all, 36:23 that's part of the whole religious world signs. 36:27 And notice here 36:28 what Jesus said in Matthew 24:3, 36:32 we read these words. 36:34 "Tell us, when will these things be?" 36:37 This is the disciple's question. 36:39 "And what will be the sign of Your coming, 36:41 and of the end of the age?" 36:44 Notice, they ask 36:45 when will Jerusalem be destroyed. 36:47 And as we have discovered the disciples believe 36:50 that when Jerusalem or I should say the temple 36:53 would be destroyed that's when Jesus would come. 36:56 Notice what Jesus said 36:58 or before we notice what Jesus said, 37:02 these words are extremely important for us to remember, 37:05 especially in the times that we are living in. 37:07 Matthew 24:6, 37:09 "And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. 37:12 See that you are not troubled, 37:14 for all these things must come to pass, 37:16 but the end is" what? 37:17 "Not yet." 37:19 Jesus said, there would be wars and rumors of wars 37:21 but the end is not yet, don't be troubled. 37:24 That's not going to be the end, that won't be the end. 37:28 We have the potential to destroy this world 37:30 the number of times over, 37:32 but that is not the final and most important sign 37:34 that we have that capability. 37:36 No, Jesus said there will be something far greater, 37:40 something far more important, the greatest 37:42 and the most positive sign of all follows next. 37:45 Notice what Jesus said in Matthew 24:14, 37:48 "And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached 37:50 in all the world as a witness to all nations, and what? 37:54 Then the end will come." 37:56 Jesus said, you will hear of wars and rumors of wars, 37:59 there will be pestilences, there will be earthquakes, 38:01 there will be false christs, 38:03 but the end is not yet. 38:05 But when the gospel 38:07 and that word the gospel means good news. 38:09 Good news about what? 38:11 Good news that Jesus is coming back soon. 38:13 Good news that God is longsuffering, 38:16 not willing that any should perish 38:18 but that all should come to repentance. 38:19 Good news that God wants to save 38:22 as many as are willing to be saved. 38:24 That is the good news of the gospel, 38:26 and this message of good news must go to all the world 38:31 as a witness to all the nations 38:33 and then Jesus says the end will come. 38:36 In the Book of Revelation, the final book of the Bible, 38:39 John adds to these words of Christ. 38:42 Notice these words in Revelation 14:6, 38:46 "Then I saw another angel flying in the midst of heaven, 38:49 having the everlasting gospel to preach to those 38:52 who dwell on the earth-to every nation, 38:54 tribe, tongue and people." 38:57 Here God through his word in the final book of the Bible 39:00 reveals God's final message of love to the world 39:04 and it is couched in these three angels' messages 39:07 that we find there in the very heart 39:09 of the Book of Revelation. 39:10 Revelation 14, 39:12 it's God final message of love to the world. 39:16 Now, notice the gospel. 39:17 I want to give you some interesting facts. 39:20 The Gospel to All the World, 39:22 the full Bible or part of the Bible 39:24 in the year 1800 was available in some 70 languages. 39:30 In the year 2016, 3000 or more languages. 39:36 There are some 6 or 7000 languages in the world. 39:41 There're almost 1000 languages in Papua New Guinea alone 39:45 and God's word, 39:47 the good news of the gospel 39:49 is going throughout the whole world. 39:51 It's is going through the world, 39:53 through the various forms of media that we have today. 39:57 People today are discovering the good news of salvation 40:00 through the written word, 40:02 those who are able to read 40:03 and those who have access to the Bible are able to have 40:07 the Bible in their own language or parts of the Bible. 40:11 Today through the internet, thousands, 40:14 millions upon millions are discovering 40:16 the good news of the gospel, 40:17 they are hearing the everlasting gospel, 40:20 they are hearing those three angels' messages 40:23 there in revelation 14. 40:25 And maybe one day 40:26 we can explore those messages together. 40:29 God's message of love is going to all the world. 40:33 Whilst there are wars and rumors of wars, 40:36 whilst there is conflict, whilst there are earthquakes, 40:39 whilst there are famines, 40:41 whilst there is economic and social uncertainty, 40:43 whilst all these things are going on, 40:45 God's word, the gospel is going to all the world. 40:50 You see there are parts of the world 40:52 where I cannot go and you cannot go 40:55 and share the gospel openly, 40:57 but God has devised in these last days 41:00 I believe the internet, 41:02 and the internet goes where humans cannot go, 41:05 it goes everywhere. 41:06 And today, people have got these little phones, 41:08 haven't they? 41:09 And they've got the world literally in their hand 41:13 and through those phones, through laptops, 41:16 through many other means 41:18 they are able to hear the good news of the gospel, 41:19 through radio. 41:21 All these media have come on to the scene of history 41:26 just at the right time in human history. 41:29 In fact, as I was thinking about this sometime ago, 41:34 the Lord impressed me with this incredible fact 41:38 that you may not have considered. 41:40 The reformation when God began 41:43 the final work of sharing the gospel to all the world 41:47 through Martin Luther and those that preceded him. 41:50 The reformation was preceded by the greatest invention 41:54 in human history up until that point 41:56 when it comes to media and communication 41:58 and what was that. 42:00 It was the invention of the Gutenberg press 42:03 or the printing press, isn't that right? 42:06 So in order to springboard the reformation, 42:09 God enabled the printing press to be invented. 42:14 We're now at the other end 42:16 of the fulfillment of the reformation 42:18 when God's final message of love 42:20 is to go to all the world. 42:22 When God's final message of truth is to go all the world 42:24 and what has God in His wisdom 42:27 allowed humans to invent the internet, the internet. 42:32 From the printing press to the internet 42:35 could it be that this will usher 42:37 in the coming of Jesus. 42:39 This mode of information, 42:43 availability to the masses 42:46 as the Holy Spirit uses this medium 42:49 for the glory of God. 42:52 I had the opportunity of going to Papua New Guinea, 42:54 a couple of years ago there 42:56 and had the privilege of being involved 42:58 in this building program where we built our clinic, 43:02 a medical clinic for a group of people 43:05 that are as isolated as you could imagine. 43:09 I mean, I have never ever been 43:11 to such an isolated place in my life. 43:15 The particular village was called Tumobil 43:18 and it's on the border 43:19 of Indonesia and Papua New Guinea. 43:22 And there is only one way you can really get to... 43:25 While there is two ways that you can get to this village. 43:27 One is by plane, 43:29 and the other one is by walking. 43:32 This village had no electricity, 43:36 had certainly no internet, 43:37 had no phones and you were really isolated. 43:41 It was like going back in time hundreds, 43:44 if not thousands of years. 43:45 People lived in a very primitive way, 43:47 beautiful people, lovely people 43:50 but they are living out there down. 43:51 While I was there I conducted a program such as this, 43:55 and at the end of the program we gave individuals 43:59 who wanted to share the good news of the gospel 44:01 with people in their villages. 44:03 We gave them what is called the Godpod. 44:06 Have you heard of an iPod? 44:07 Yeah, we've all heard of an iPod 44:09 but this is a Godpod. 44:10 Now, what's a Godpod? 44:12 A Godpod as you can see up there on the screen, 44:15 Godpod is this solar powered ODI device 44:20 just like an iPod, powered by the sun. 44:22 They've got plenty of the sun there in Papua New Guinea 44:24 in all the villages and on this Godpod 44:29 is the word of God in its entirety 44:32 in the pigeon English language. 44:34 Now why is that so important? 44:36 Because at least 50 percent of the population 44:39 of Papua New Guinea cannot read or write. 44:41 They are illiterate, 44:42 so there is no point in giving them a Bible, 44:45 because the majority of them 44:46 just cannot read the Bible, they don't understand. 44:49 It was kind of really fascinating for me. 44:51 I went to the school there in the village 44:54 and amongst... 44:56 You go to the... 44:57 You see, you see with grade threes 44:59 and the grade fours, 45:01 and in grade three there are children that are 10 45:04 and there are children that are 18. 45:06 And they're all in grade three 45:08 because they kind of get to school at different times 45:10 just when you can make it, when you have the opportunity. 45:13 And so we gave these individuals 45:16 the Bible in their own language. 45:18 Well not quite. 45:20 Pigeon English is kind of a standard language 45:22 for Papua New Guinea, as I pointed out, 45:24 they have up to a thousand different languages 45:27 throughout Papua New Guinea, 45:30 and we gave them this Godpod. 45:32 And as I was giving this Godpod to these individuals, 45:36 I was realizing that we are literally 45:38 fulfilling the words of Jesus and this gospel of the kingdom 45:42 where we preached in head out to the world, 45:44 in all the world. 45:46 Does that include the people of Papua New Guinea? 45:48 The people who cannot read and write, 45:50 the people who don't have the internet, 45:51 the people who don't have radio access, 45:53 the people that don't have televisions 45:56 and they are all heap happier than we are, 45:58 let me tell you that. 46:01 God wants the message of the gospel to go to them. 46:05 And so through the Godpods, 46:08 God has made an opportunity 46:10 for them to hear the good news of the gospel. 46:15 What will be the sign that 46:17 the gospel has been preached in all the world 46:20 and Jesus is on His way? 46:22 You remember the question of the disciples, 46:27 what will be the sign of Your what? 46:30 Of Your coming and of the end of the age. 46:33 The preaching of the gospel will be followed by the sign. 46:38 Notice what the Bible says, Matthew 24:30-31, 46:41 these are Jesus words, 46:43 "Then the sign of the Son of Man 46:45 will appear in heaven, 46:46 and then all the tribes of the earth will do what? 46:49 They will mourn, 46:50 and they will see the Son of Man 46:51 coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 46:55 And He will send His angels 46:57 with a great sound of a trumpet, 46:59 and they will gather together His what? 47:01 His elect from the four winds, 47:03 from one end of heaven to the other." 47:07 As we go to our next scripture, 47:10 we discover in Revelation what takes place. 47:14 In Revelation here we have the words, 47:18 very sad words of one group of people who will mourn. 47:23 These are not the elect, these are the ones that mourn. 47:27 Notice what the Bible says, 47:28 "Then the sky receded as a scroll 47:31 when it is rolled up, 47:32 and every mountain and island was moved out of its place." 47:36 This is the final great earthquake 47:39 that will come completely destroy this world 47:42 as we know it. 47:44 An earthquake such as the world has never witnessed 47:46 before the Bible says. 47:48 "And the kings of the earth, the great men, 47:50 the rich men, the commanders, 47:51 the mighty men, 47:52 every slave and every free man hid themselves in the caves 47:56 and in the rocks of the mountains, 47:58 and said to the mountains and the rocks, 48:00 'Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him 48:03 who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! 48:05 For the great day of His wrath has come, 48:07 and who is able to stand?" 48:11 They see Jesus coming in the clouds of glory. 48:14 They see the sign of the Son of Man 48:16 appearing with all the angels of heaven. 48:20 And instead of welcoming Jesus, 48:23 this greatest event in human history, 48:26 instead they cried to the rocks 48:28 and to the mountains to fall on them 48:31 and to hide them from the Son of Man. 48:33 What sad words, what words of tragedy, 48:37 and they cried it out, 48:39 who is able to stand. 48:41 Will God have a people 48:43 who are able to stand at the end of time? 48:45 Will God have a people 48:47 who have their names written in the Lamb's Book of Life? 48:51 Absolutely. 48:52 Notice what the Bible goes on and says, 48:55 it describes the second group of people, 48:57 the elect as Jesus referred to them in Isaiah 25:9, 49:04 notice these words, 49:05 "And it will be said in that day: 49:07 speaking of the second of Jesus. 49:09 Behold, this is our God, we have waited for Him, 49:12 and He will save us. 49:14 This is the Lord, We have waited for Him, 49:16 and we will be glad and rejoice in His salvation." 49:20 Isn't that a wonderful promise? 49:23 There will be one group who mourn 49:25 and who ask for the rocks to fall on them 49:28 when they see Jesus coming, 49:29 and yet there will be another group altogether 49:32 who will cry out, behold this is our God. 49:35 We have waited for Him, it's been a long wait, 49:40 but He has promised, 49:41 He will come back again and now we will receive Him. 49:47 Oh, what a day that will be. 49:50 Oh, what a day of rejoicing that will be. 49:53 We will be glad and rejoice in His salvation. 49:59 What a day that will be. 50:01 I say long for that day, how about you? 50:04 I say long for that day, I've had enough of the sin, 50:09 and the suffering, and the sorrow of this world. 50:11 I've had enough of the death, and the destruction, 50:14 and the disease of this world. 50:16 Enough, so how much longer, 50:19 how much longer before God's people cry out, 50:24 behold this is our God, 50:26 we have waited for Him and He will now save us. 50:29 How long before we rejoice and are glad. 50:35 I want to finish off about sharing with you 50:38 the question that my two precious daughters 50:40 would ask me every time, 50:43 every time without fail. 50:46 As we would leave on one of our long trips 50:49 they would ask a question, 50:51 three minutes into the journey, 50:53 does anyone want to guess what that question might be? 50:56 Are we there yet? 50:58 Are we there yet? 51:01 They're my two precious girls Gamily and Genevieve 51:04 when they were young. 51:06 Now they 17 and 20 almost. 51:10 And as I think about their question, 51:13 are we there yet? 51:15 I can just hear God 51:18 hearing the question of His precious children, 51:21 riding in the back of this car called planet earth 51:26 that is falling apart that it seems, 51:29 and God is hearing the cry of His children. 51:33 He is hearing your cry 51:34 when you're going through suffering and pain. 51:37 When you have a terminal illness, 51:41 when your family is falling apart, 51:43 when you are wondering 51:45 how you're gonna put bread on the table, 51:47 Jesus says, I hear your cry, 51:49 Jesus says I hear your cry. 51:51 Are we there yet Jesus, how much longer? 51:55 He says, I'm coming back soon. 51:57 I'm coming back soon, real soon. 52:00 I want to finish off with this beautiful promise. 52:03 His beautiful promise 52:04 from the Book 52:07 where God says, 52:09 "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, 52:11 says the Lord, 52:13 thoughts of peace and not of evil, 52:15 to give you a future and" what? 52:17 "And a hope." 52:19 That's God's plan for you my friend. 52:21 That's God's plan for me, 52:22 that's God's plan for all of us. 52:25 God's plans for you and for me 52:28 and to give us a future and a hope, 52:31 that's why the second coming is called the blessed hope. 52:35 The blessed hope of the appearing 52:38 of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. 52:41 What other hope does this world offer? 52:44 There is no other hope, is there? 52:47 The search for certainty, 52:49 it begins and ends 52:51 with the blessed hope of Jesus Christ. 52:54 There is no other hope. 52:56 I pray for my government leaders 52:59 and I pray that you too will pray 53:00 for our government leaders 53:02 that God will give them wisdom 53:04 in these turbulent and difficult times 53:08 that we live in. 53:10 Time such as we have never lived in before 53:13 where there are more and more challenges 53:16 that our political leaders are facing. 53:18 Yes, we need to pray for them. 53:20 Absolutely pray for them, pray for them. 53:22 Everyday pray for them. 53:23 The Bible encourages us to pray for our political leaders, 53:27 that God will give them wisdom and understanding, 53:29 but the reality of the situation is that 53:32 try as they might, there is no human solution, 53:37 there is no human solution. 53:39 The only true solution is Jesus Christ 53:45 and His second coming. 53:48 I want to be ready for that day, 53:49 how about you? 53:51 Today Jesus is inviting you, 53:53 today Jesus is inviting me. 53:55 He has open hands, He has open hands. 54:00 Those nail scarred open hands are inviting you, 54:03 are inviting me to come to Him. 54:06 He said in Matthew 11, 54:10 He says, come unto me, 54:13 all you who labor and are heavy-laden 54:15 and I will give you rest. 54:17 Come says Jesus, come. 54:20 The good news of salvation, it's free, it's free. 54:25 As Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord, 54:28 so to you and I can find grace in the eyes of the Lord. 54:33 As God remembered Noah, 54:35 God will remember you too my friend. 54:38 God will remember you too. 54:40 It's time for us to come into those arms 54:45 that are stretched out wide. 54:47 It's time for us to come. 54:49 If you want to join me today 54:52 in coming into the arms of Jesus, 54:54 in responding to this invitation to come. 54:58 Why don't you just raise your hand 54:59 and I want to pray with you. 55:01 Father in heaven, 55:02 we thank You for the beautiful message of the gospel. 55:05 Oh Father, we have looked at all the turmoil 55:09 and all the trouble that Jesus promised 55:13 would be part and parcel of living on the sin, 55:16 sick planet immediately prior to the coming of Jesus. 55:20 Oh, these days of uncertainty, we have looked that all up, 55:23 but how Father, 55:25 we have looked at the most beautiful, 55:28 the most encouraging, 55:30 the most hope filled sign of all, 55:33 that of the preaching of the gospel to all the world 55:36 that would usher in the coming of Jesus. 55:38 Our Lord, it's my prayer 55:39 that each and every person here 55:41 and many besides those who are watching, 55:44 wherever they maybe, 55:45 oh Lord that each one respond 55:48 to the invitation of Jesus to come, 55:51 come, come. 55:53 Oh, bless us Lord, I pray. 55:55 Keep us close to Jesus. 55:56 Keep us looking up 55:57 for our redemption is indeed drawing nigh, 56:00 and we pray this in Jesus' name, amen. |
