00:06 Hey buddy. Hey, hey.
00:08 Proverbs 18:24 states 00:11 "A man that has friends must show himself friendly 00:15 and there is a Friend that sticks closer than a brother. " 00:19 Hello and welcome to From Sickness to Health. 00:22 I'm Rico Hill. your host, and this is Sickness my... 00:26 What are we exactly? We're friends. 00:29 Really? I mean you're all about the whole sick thing 00:32 and I'm more about health and we don't agree on anything so... 00:34 Well, that's because you're... how do I say this gently? 00:38 EXTREME! 00:40 Really? Give me one example. OK. 00:44 I'll give you one example. All right. 00:45 Let's take your definition of health. OK. 00:48 You think people should be healthy every single day. 00:51 That they should never get sick. 00:53 You know, people like some sympathy when they're sick. 00:55 For instance: "Oh baby, how're you doing? 00:59 Do you feel OK? " People love that stuff! 01:02 Then let's talk about sick days. People love sick days. 01:06 All right. Fine, fine, fine... but... 01:08 but here's the thing: You're my friend, right? 01:10 That's right. OK, so as my friend it wouldn't bother you if 01:14 I had aching joints? Having sleepless nights 01:19 because of migraines? What if I had to fork out 01:23 thousands of dollars for expensive rehabilitation 01:27 and all this. Or heart attack? It wouldn't bother you 01:30 if I? Oh, how about deforming crippling arthritis? 01:34 I'm totally fine with it. 01:36 Wow! In today's program we're going to identify 01:41 real friends versus those that just hang around like 01:46 friends but they're really not. Hey! I can hear you. 01:49 Right over here. I can hear you talking about me. 01:51 Come on... Roll it! 01:54 Rico. Oh Rico, come back here. 01:56 Hey... get back over here. Hey! 01:59 We're friends and you should identify that. 02:35 Have you ever had a pain in your neck 02:39 or somewhere else on your body that just wouldn't go away? 02:42 Or better yet, have you ever had 02:45 something that hung around and you embraced it like a friend 02:49 or family member? You know, we're talking about 02:54 arthritis today. And you know sometimes people embrace 02:57 their pain like it's a friend or a family member. 03:01 Now we wouldn't do that if someone robbed our house. 03:03 We wouldn't say, you know: "My robber. " 03:06 So today we want to separate what's a friend and what's an 03:11 enemy and who we should be embracing. 03:13 Today we have joining us our good friend, and he IS a friend, 03:17 Dr. Jim Said who is a board-certified chiropractor 03:21 and a naturopathic doctor. 03:23 And as I always say, he is on the forefront of 03:27 educating people about good health. 03:29 Welcome to the program. 03:31 Thank you so much for having me. It's a pleasure to be here. 03:34 Well we're really happy to have you with us 03:35 because we're talking about a subject that people need 03:38 to understand today. Now, we find that millions 03:43 of Americans, doc, millions of them 03:46 are affected by this lifestyle disease. 03:50 Certainly in the African- American community. Sadly. 03:53 But what really sort of strikes me is that this particular 03:57 lifestyle disease has become affectionately known 04:01 as "Arthur" or "Uncle Arthur. " Um-hmm. 04:07 So in other words, it's being embraced as if it 04:09 were a family member. But we want to really show 04:12 that this is no friend and it's no family member, right? 04:15 Absolutely. But before we do that, let's allow 04:18 our, well so-called friend Sickness 04:22 on this program to get his point in 04:25 before we get into the discussion. Let's see what he 04:27 has to say. 04:30 Hey Rico, since we're talking about friendship 04:33 one of my good friends is in town today. 04:37 You may know him: Arthur. You know, a lot of people 04:39 call him Arthur-ritis. Arthur-ritis... get it? 04:44 Sixty million Americans suffer from this doctor diagnosed 04:48 disease. That's nearly 1 in 5... do the math. 04:52 I just did. Anyway... 2/3 of those are under the age 04:57 of 65 so it's not just an old folk disease. 05:00 You know what I mean? Let's take this lady over here for example. 05:04 As you can see, she's got a lot of blue areas. 05:08 That's my friend Arthur at work. 05:11 Let's just see. Lady... does that hurt? AAAH! 05:15 Well, you can see what a real friendship looks like. 05:19 We may not have it but Arthur and I do. 05:22 Back to you, Rico. 05:24 Whoa! Poor lady, right? 05:27 Absolutely. Well doc, what do you have to say about 05:31 this issue of "Uncle Arthur? " 05:35 I feel badly for the family member, that's for sure - 05:38 yeah, yeah - because it's a huge issue. 05:40 It affects so many and we see that there are over 100 types 05:46 of arthritis. How about this? There are some common ones... 05:50 over 100... but there are some common ones, right? 05:52 Osteoarthritis; rheumatoid arthritis. 05:55 You've got infectious arthritis and there's a fourth one. 05:58 What's that fourth one? Rheumatoid? 06:00 Juvenile rheumatoid? You mean this is affecting children? 06:02 Um-hmm. Talk to us about these common ones. 06:05 The biggest issue about arth- ritis is very straightforward. 06:09 It means inflammation of a joint. 06:11 Whether it's acute. In other words, it's hurting 06:15 from some kind of an injury that's an arthritis. 06:18 From an infection can be an arthritis. 06:21 Or in the case of rheumatoid or juvenile-onset it can be 06:25 a connective tissue disease... that is, the body is attacking 06:28 the joint itself. The immune system has gone awry. 06:31 It's gone haywire and it's seeing its own tissues 06:34 as foreign and it wants to get rid of them. 06:37 All these lead to inflammation of the joint. 06:40 The biggest issue most people suffer with 06:42 is chronic arthritis. Chronic arthritis. 06:45 Osteoarthritis it's also called. 06:48 And this is a condition that really has two drivers. 06:52 One is by the mechanics of the body: 06:55 posture and how we use the body. 06:57 And the other has to do with what we eat - 07:00 our style of living - and also how we exercise 07:04 and stretch and keep movement and flexibility of the body. 07:08 I'll give you an example. 07:10 This is something I see literally every day in practice. 07:12 OK. Bad posture. People... Sit up! 07:18 Go ahead. People who chronically slouch. 07:20 Yeah. The classic couch potato 07:23 or someone sitting over a computer desk 07:26 or over a counter all day 07:29 where the back is forward and the back is "slunched" 07:32 and that's how they spend hours and hours a day. 07:35 The problem with that is the effect is has on the body. 07:39 Give an example: in a slouched position 07:43 the low back goes in reverse. 07:46 It's designed to go forward; slouching has it come backwards. 07:50 Then what it does is it causes the mid back to round 07:54 and then the shoulders start wrenching forward. 07:57 Then the neck has to come up to be able to keep the eyes 07:59 level to the horizon. Um-hmm. That's how we're designed. 08:02 At the same time, the back of the thighs - the hamstrings - 08:06 tighten. So do the calves. So people can't touch their toes 08:11 easily for example. Um-hmm. What that does 08:15 is it causes the whole spine to come forward 08:17 and now the muscles have to splint or tighten 08:20 so you don't collapse forward. 08:22 At the same time the feet literally start to duck. 08:27 They splay outwards. They start duck walking. 08:30 Yeah. And then the hips start to tighten behind the hips. 08:35 Called the external rotators: the hip muscles that turn 08:39 the hips out. And it perpetuates itself. 08:42 Then what happens is it causes the brain to compress. 08:47 The net effect. Now let me try to understand that. 08:50 So the brain is compressing? Yes. How so? 08:54 How is the brain compressing? The brain has a covering 08:57 around it called meninges. It just means covering in Latin. 09:01 And those coverings anchor to the skull 09:05 and the beginning and end of the spinal cord 09:09 in the neck and in the sacrum... the tail bone. 09:13 As it compresses, the brain is like a water balloon 09:18 if you will. You're pulling on it - 09:20 um-hmm - and so it starts to compress. 09:22 Then what happens is the vertebrae in the spine 09:26 start to reshape 09:29 and become arthritic literally. 09:32 Now I like something you said there. 09:35 I like all that you said, but you used the word designed. 09:38 So we specifically were designed by God 09:42 to walk a certain way, to sit a certain way. 09:45 To have good posture and all these things. When we don't 09:49 do that it affects our skeletal structure. 09:53 Now I want to show a video real quick here 09:56 that's going to give us some insight because 09:59 they were talking about arthritis on the news. 10:01 So let's take a look at this video. 10:04 Dr. Holly Phillips is with us. Good morning. 10:07 Good morning. OK, we all did it when we were younger: 10:09 cracking our knuckles. Fact or fiction? Does that cause 10:11 arthritis? Well, cracking your knuckles... 10:14 that's absolutely fiction. It does not cause arthritis. 10:16 But you know, if your mom told you not to do it 10:18 she was on to something. 10:20 Even though it doesn't cause arthritis it damages 10:23 the joints in other ways. It stretches out the tendons 10:25 and the ligaments and in really bad cases can 10:28 decrease your grip strength. So mom was on to something 10:31 when she said "Don't do it. " How about wearing high heels? 10:33 High heels, regretfully for many of us, 10:36 that is a fact. It does lead to arthritis. 10:40 And what's interesting is two inches seems to be the 10:43 critical break point. Heels higher than two inches 10:45 cause something called medial loading... where you put more 10:48 pressure on the inside of your knees. 10:50 That degenerates the joint and leads to arthritis. 10:53 This is a little bit more than two inches. 10:55 Just a tad... just a tad... maybe three times as much. 10:57 I may have arthritis tomorrow after wearing these. 11:00 All right. The higher the heel the longer you wear it, too, 11:02 that raises your risk. So you can wear those for five minutes. 11:05 You're good. OK... good. What about weather? 11:07 It certainly can exacerbate I think arthritis, but does it 11:10 cause it? That's absolutely right. 11:12 It's fiction that it causes arthritis. 11:14 The weather cannot trigger arthritis in somebody who 11:16 doesn't already have it. But cold and damp conditions 11:20 can really worsen arthritis pain for sufferers. 11:23 It causes swelling of the tissues around the joint 11:25 and then causes pain. And weight? 11:28 Does it affect arthritis? Weight is very much a fact. 11:31 It very much affects arthritis. 11:33 Now overweight and obesity are a top cause of osteoarthritis 11:37 of the hips, of the spine, and of the knees. 11:39 And just keep in mind every pound that you gain 11:42 feels like four pounds on your knees. 11:45 So it can add up very very quickly 11:47 and really degenerate the joints. 11:48 All right. Dr. Holly Phillips. Some good information. 11:51 Wow! You know, doc, it's interesting. When you... 11:53 When you watch the news they give you information 11:56 but there's not a lot of understanding there. 12:00 You know, they talk about the high-heeled shoes 12:03 and they talk about the weather 12:05 and how that affects. And Lord knows I've heard 12:08 many of my relatives say: "Oh, it's going to rain. " 12:12 "I feel it's about to rain because Arthur is acting up. " 12:16 That's what they say. So... But there's no understanding. 12:19 Why does that happen? And then they also mention obesity. 12:23 Let's take those three areas. 12:25 And then I want to make sure that we cover before... Maybe 12:27 before we go and check what people are saying on the street 12:31 we want to hear what we have to say here. 12:32 We want to check what they have to say on the street 12:34 but I want to make sure that we... What about the high heels? 12:37 What about the weather? What about the obesity? 12:42 And then what about diet? Um-hmm. 12:45 So let's start with high heels. 12:47 OK... here's the problem: when high heels are worn 12:51 it causes the calves to tighten and the back of the thighs - 12:55 the hamstrings - to tighten causing the low back to round 12:58 and the upper body to go forward. 13:00 Also it forces the tail bone to go at a higher angle 13:04 than we're designed. Um-hmm. So the body is trying to compensate 13:08 for two things in opposite directions. 13:10 Pulling against each other. Pulling against each other. 13:13 So the muscles force shortening... tighten... 13:15 and as a result it causes compression 13:18 on all the joints that are involved... 13:20 especially in the spine. 13:22 So I see this with many women that have worn high heels 13:24 for a long time. Not only does it cause bunions 13:27 because it's forcing the feet down - 13:30 yeah - and the foot shortens and the toes start to cross 13:34 and hammer toes start to form commonly but it also 13:38 starts creating problems in the neck and low back 13:40 and the joints start to inflame 13:42 because they're used in a way that they're not designed. 13:45 Not designed that way. How long would it take 13:48 for a woman who's wearing high heels to end up 13:51 in the place where arthritis may set in? 13:54 Is it 10 years? 15 years? 20 years? 13:56 Well it depends. It depends on the person's age, 13:59 what they're eating, how high the heels are. OK. 14:02 For example, a two-inch heel is what the body can usually 14:05 accommodate at the upper limit. Um-hmm. 14:07 3, 4, 5 inches puts a greater stress on the body. 14:11 If a person's younger, they're more resilient. 14:14 They're more flexible; they're more of an athletic 14:16 constitution that can accommodate it more easily 14:19 than someone who doesn't exercise, who doesn't stretch. 14:22 Someone who's older, someone who's overweight: 14:24 these are the things that start becoming progressive issues. 14:26 I see, so... All right, so that's high heels. 14:29 So this is something that can lead obviously to arthritis. 14:32 Yes. Now in that little news clip we saw we saw also 14:36 weather. Now I have certainly heard, and I mentioned that, 14:38 that people say you know: "It's about to rain 14:41 because Arthur's acting up. " What is it about weather? 14:44 Yeah, I have many patients who are more accurate than 14:46 the weather people. And here's what happens: 14:49 when a weather front comes in the barometric pressure drops. 14:53 That's what brings that weather front in. 14:54 When it drops - like at night- time the same kind of thing 14:58 happens - anything that's inflamed inflames even more. 15:01 So the joint that's inflamed will express greater pain 15:05 because it's swelling more than it was when the barometric 15:08 pressure was higher. OK. That's the issue with weather. 15:11 For those who may not know what barometric pressure is 15:14 what is that exactly? It's the pressure 15:16 that we have around us in the atmosphere. OK. 15:19 And it's going up and down depending on many different 15:22 factors. And when it's about to rain, the pressure is? 15:25 Pushing down. It drops. It drops. 15:27 Right. That's what brings the weather front in. 15:31 So as that happens, joints will inflame more than they were 15:35 even prior to that. Well doc, who wants to be 15:37 a... you know... telling the weather with pain? 15:40 That's the hard way. That's the hard way! 15:42 I'd rather just watch the news, right? No question. 15:45 Now in that news clip - speaking of news - 15:47 they also mention obesity. Ahh... yes. 15:51 That's kind of an easy one, right? It's an easy one. 15:53 We're designed for height and weight within optimal range. 15:58 OK. When we exceed that range 16:01 our joints take the brunt of that 'cause they have to 16:03 carry more weight than they're supposed to. 16:05 OK... this is heavy... this is heavy: 16:06 so you're telling me that genetically our DNA is 16:10 designed - there's that word again - designed to bear 16:14 a certain load. When we exceed it 16:17 we are putting too much stress? Yes. Oh boy. 16:22 Oh boy. We are carrying a load more than our body is designed 16:25 to carry. Now no matter what type of clothing they make 16:29 to fit and all that you are bearing too much weight 16:33 and you could have an arthritic condition. 16:35 Example: put a backpack on and stuff it with 20 pounds 16:39 of rocks and see what that feels like on your hips and knees 16:43 at the end of the day. If a person puts on 20 pounds 16:46 of weight, that's also being carried by the body. 16:50 This is kind of like what it's like for me when I'm going 16:53 through the airport with all my bags. Exactly. 16:55 OK. OK. Now what we're seeing as it relates to 16:59 obesity and weight, this is a lifestyle/diet issue. 17:03 This is sitting in front of the television... Yes. 17:05 This is eating certain foods and not to mention the foods. 17:09 In a previous broadcast in a previous program we talked 17:12 about how milk is not doing a body good but actually 17:16 affecting the bones. Yes? Yes. Talk about diet for just 17:21 a few moments before we switch to another segment. 17:23 Very simple: when we eat foods 17:27 that are not designed for our physiology, the way our body 17:30 is made... OK. We're designed to live in a garden. 17:35 That's according to Genesis, right? The Bible. 17:37 Genesis the first chapter. That's right. We're designed 17:39 to live in a garden. That's how our body is made. 17:41 Our physiology accommodates food from the garden. 17:45 If we take things out of its original state 17:49 and we alter them and then take them in, 17:52 we pay the consequences. As an example, 17:54 the garden does not have white sugar. 17:58 It does not have white flour, biscuits, and white bread 18:02 or white rice or white flour pasta. 18:04 These are all refined, right? They're refined 18:06 so they cause the body to become acid and therefore 18:09 they are pro inflammatory. They actually trigger inflammation. 18:14 Other foods - the flesh foods especially - 18:17 meats, fish, fowl... OK, hold on a second. 18:20 I really want to talk about that, but before we do that 18:23 I want us to see, because we're speaking about this but 18:27 I know someone at home is saying: "Wait a minute. 18:29 you know you guys have an unfair advantage. 18:32 What about what I have to say? " 18:34 So we're going to go with Sickness. We're going to see 18:36 what he's saying or what people are saying on the streets 18:39 about "Uncle Arthur. " Let's see what they have to say 18:42 then we'll come back and we'll see maybe what the 18:44 Word of God says and what God, who designed us, 18:47 what He says that we should eat from the garden. Yes. 18:50 Let's take a look. 18:53 Now there's somebody who I like to call a dear friend. 18:58 OK. His name is Arthur. Do you know Arthur? 19:01 No! Arthur-ritis. 19:04 Arthur? Oh, arthritis! 19:08 Pains in your hands and your joints. 19:10 You know anybody with arthritis? 19:12 Your mom... does she enjoy it? No! 19:14 She hates it. She's actually grouchy. 19:16 Grouchy. Gets on my nerves when it happens. 19:18 You need to give her a pep talk. Tell her: "Mama, 19:21 Arthur is your friend. " Is he really? 19:24 He is your friend. You should say: "Mama, 19:26 how do I get me some arthritis? " 19:30 No... I don't want that. 19:32 Yes you do! There's confusion on the streets... 19:34 we're trying to clear it up. 19:36 You got a little arthritis? A little something there. 19:39 How does that feel? It does not feel good. 19:41 Not good at all. Oh man, you're insulting Arthur. 19:44 He's in town. He might hear you! 19:46 He can leave town, man. I don't want no bump with that. 19:48 Yeah, arthritis. You call him Arthur or arthritis? 19:51 Either or. Either or? So you know Arthur? 19:54 This guy knows Arthur. 19:55 Crampin' up. What do you mean by that? 19:56 It's all the time in your hands. You move your hands 19:59 it's all stiff. Oh no, that's just Arthur 20:01 getting some exercise. You know, Arthur's in town this week. 20:04 Oh he is? I can send him to your place. 20:06 Free samples? Free samples. You know, he can hook up your 20:09 joints and make you feel just great. You know, some people 20:11 don't like Arthur-ritis but he is my friend. 20:14 Sure guy. I'll introduce him to you Mark. 20:16 Here we go. Back to you. 20:18 Well as we can see people do love their sugar 20:21 and all the different things that are causing these 20:23 inflammatory arthritic situations. Yes. 20:27 And you know, but here's my question: 20:29 what can we tell people that will help them to 20:33 to realize that chronic pain and lifestyle diseases 20:38 it's not a normal way of life. It's not something 20:40 that you just say: "Oh that's MY... " claiming it 20:44 as MY diabetes or MY arthritis in this case. 20:48 You know, I'm thinking of a scripture, doc, 20:50 that is in Proverbs chapter 16 and verse 24. 20:54 Speaks of bones. It says: "Pleasant words are 20:57 as a honeycomb... sweet to the soul 21:00 and health to the bones. " Amen. 21:03 So God wants us to have healthy bones. 21:07 And you were going to tell us about some of the things that 21:10 were in the Garden of Eden and the diet that God had 21:12 for this design that He fashioned and formed 21:16 that is best. And when we don't use that 21:18 we have inflammation. Exactly. Talk to us about that. 21:22 As I mentioned earlier, we're designed to live in a garden 21:25 and our bodies are designed to partake of the garden. 21:28 We put a seed in the ground and it comes up as something 21:30 edible. Have you ever tried planting a chicken? 21:33 It does not come up. OK. Or a cow. OK. 21:38 So hamburgers... Well somebody would say that doesn't mean 21:41 you're not supposed to eat it. It's not from the garden. 21:43 So when we try to eat something apart from the garden 21:46 or processed from the garden like for example 21:50 white flour products. Pasta, white flour pasta as an example, 21:54 or white rice. White sugar? White sugar. 21:57 Pastries, cakes, pies. 22:00 All of these kinds of things. So if I'm someone who has 22:03 arthritis - um-hmm - and I'm calling it my "Uncle Arthur" 22:07 and I've got knee pain and joint pain in my elbow 22:10 and back and all this you're telling? What we're telling them 22:13 is that if you're eating white refined sugar... 22:16 Now there are some sweeteners that they can use, 22:17 but white refined sugar, white flour - um-hmm - 22:20 different meats... Yes! Yes? 22:23 Then I'm going to have an inflamed painful life. 22:26 Yes. Coffee! I call coffee nothing more than 22:31 liquid sandpaper to the joints. 22:35 Liquid sandpaper? Yes! 22:37 Same thing with bad fats. 22:40 Any fat that's been fried is now carcinogenic and inflammatory. 22:45 Fried foods carcinogenic? That means they can lead to cancer - 22:49 yes - and it is going to cause the bones, the joints to hurt. 22:54 Yes. Same with animal fats. 22:56 Like what kinds of animals are we talking about? 22:59 Anything that breathes. 23:01 Anything that had a mama or a face. You've got it! 23:03 If it's got 4 legs and fur, let it keep on walking 23:07 'cause it has an acid in it called arachidonic acid. 23:10 Arachidonic acid? It's a fatty acid 23:13 in the lean muscle mass, not the marble you cut away - 23:16 um-hmm - that causes inflammation. 23:18 So even if I get... You know a lot of times people say: 23:21 "Well get a leaner cut. Cut away that like white meat. " 23:25 Right. "Get the... " What is it? "the breast of the chicken. " 23:29 Right? White meat? So this is less fat 23:33 but you're saying that it's even in the muscle of the chicken. 23:38 Yes. Even in eggs. It's in eggs? Yes. 23:40 Even in dairy like cheeses and milk and yogurt and ice cream. 23:45 It's found in all of that also that triggers inflammation. 23:49 Another issue is all the artificial foods. 23:53 Artificial sweeteners; artificial flavors and colors and dyes. 23:58 They not only cause inflammation of joints 24:01 they cause inflammation of the brain. 24:03 MSG... another one of what are called free glutamates. 24:07 Yeah. It's a class of chemicals that causes brain inflammation 24:12 like nutritional yeast for example. 24:14 So these are things that are in peoples' diets... 24:17 All your oils - heavy oils - especially what are called 24:21 the industrial oils: corn, cotton seeds, 24:24 soy, canola... And especially when you're frying them. 24:28 I tell you: we could go on and on and on, but - yes - 24:32 I tell you we have... We have to do another program and 24:35 deal with some more of these issues because 24:37 this isn't enough time to really share all the things that people 24:41 are having to deal with with these lifestyle issues. 24:44 OK... so we have to wrap it up. You know, here's the point: 24:49 you want to make sure that as our good doctor has shared 24:54 with us, you need to be eating foods that come close 24:57 to the hand of God or have come from the hand of God 25:02 as we like to say. We're talking about your fresh fruits and 25:06 vegetables. We don't eat enough of those. 25:07 We need to do more of that. And how about water? 25:10 Drinking more water. You need fluid in the joints 25:13 to actually make sure that you are not having an inflamed 25:17 situation. So a lot of us are preferring to drink 25:19 sodas instead of drinking water. 25:23 So the things that God has provided: these are the things 25:26 that are going to actually keep us healthy. 25:29 Now until next time we'll see you again here on 25:32 From Sickness to Health. 25:34 Now, here is my admonition to you: 25:37 stay healthy! 25:43 It's good to know that we don't have to embrace illness 25:47 as some close companion. 25:49 Once we make healthier lifestyle changes 25:52 then we can truly embrace that Friend who sticks closer 25:57 than a brother... namely Jesus Christ, our Friend 26:00 and Savior. You know, Rico, this program has taught me 26:03 a lot about true friendship. 26:05 Whoa! That is excellent. Are you serious? 26:08 Yeah! That I have many friends like Arthur 26:10 and frenemies like you. You know, let's be honest: 26:12 people aren't going to make the necessary lifestyle changes 26:15 to get rid of Arthur. They treat Arthur like a friend. 26:18 They give him what he wants; they feed him what he wants. 26:21 Well I have to say that's kind of deep. 26:25 And think about if Arthur was a real person. 26:27 He'd have 60 million friends in America alone! 26:31 If he was on Facebook and Twitter and Foursquare 26:34 he'd be a popular guy. All right, OK, OK, I get your point. 26:37 But listen: Arthur-ritis is a lifestyle disease 26:42 that can be controlled and even reversed. 26:45 You know, as seekers of truth and people desiring to be 26:49 healthier we can do much better. 26:51 We don't have to have these lifestyle diseases. 26:53 Let's do what is practical and simple. 26:56 Let's heed the Word. That's our program for today. 26:59 I'm Rico Hill... and I'm your friend, the blue guy. 27:02 Friend? Fine... whatever. Frenemy. 27:06 And as always I like to end with III John 2: 27:09 "Beloved, I wish above all things 27:12 that thou mayest prosper and be in health. " 27:16 Maranatha! |
