00:32 If you will join us in singing our theme song, 00:35 "This Witness I Will Bear. " 00:37 Piano... 00:54 Song... 03:53 Amen. 03:55 Pause... 03:57 Buenas nochas GYC, 03:59 Buenas noches... 04:00 Louder: Buenas noches. 04:02 Audience: Buenas noches. 04:04 This is... this is the Spanish part of GYC. 04:07 We came here to tell you what is happening in Latin America. 04:11 There are great things happening all over the world 04:15 because the Holy Spirit speaks all the languages, amen. 04:18 Amen... 04:19 Amen, so I have with me here, Michelle. 04:22 Michelle is part of the Leadership Team 04:24 of our Latin America affiliates 04:26 and she's going to tell us a little bit more about 04:29 what's happening in Colombia. 04:30 This year, we have the first GYC in Colombia, amen. 04:33 Amen, can you tell us a little bit more about it? 04:36 Yes David, so there were 70 young people 04:38 who came from all over Colombia, 04:40 they were studying about their purpose 04:42 within the three angels' message 04:45 and how can we finish this work in our generation. 04:47 So, they went door to door 04:49 and they were seeking out people who want to study the Word 04:54 and also health needs 04:57 but out... as a result of that survey, 05:00 they found 300 people that would like to study the Bible. 05:04 David: Amen. Michelle: Amen. 05:06 David: We are so happy to see the... the... the... the... 05:09 the impact that that the GYC is taking place in Colombia 05:12 but that's not it, right? 05:13 Michelle: No... no. 05:14 David: Because what happened at the end of the... 05:16 of the Conference? 05:17 Michelle: Yeah, so at the end of that Conference, 05:19 there was an appeal made 05:21 for those that would be willing to dedicate three months 05:24 to go revive a dying church 05:28 in an area where there was hardly any young people present. 05:31 David: So, you said that five people decided to go there. 05:34 Michelle: Five, yeah. 05:36 David: But they needed five or... they needed...? 05:37 Michelle: No, they needed six. David: They needed six... 05:39 Michelle: Yeah. David: So what happened? 05:40 Michelle: They were searching up and down for that sixth person, 05:43 could not find it... 05:44 they decided, "We're going to go forward, 05:46 they went to this place... 05:47 they called the project: MisiĆ³n Theo 05:49 and they go there and they find this young person 05:52 who had just recently given his life to Jesus... 05:55 he saw what they were doing and then he said, 05:59 "I need to join this full time" 06:01 and so, he joined their team 06:03 as the sixth team player that they needed. 06:05 David: Amen, so basically, a local young person 06:09 saw what these five people there did 06:11 and... and he joined them. 06:12 Michelle: Hmmm... hmmm... 06:14 David: So, he was the sixth... Michelle: Yes. 06:15 David: So, what was the result of... 06:17 of... of the whole three months 06:18 because they just finished, right? 06:19 Michelle: Yeah, yeah, so, you know, results have just... 06:22 service is obviously revival 06:25 and so, revival happened in that church... 06:28 there were many people 06:29 who decided to give their lives to Jesus, 06:32 and now the Union is asking these young people 06:35 to continue another three months in that area 06:38 to continue the work that God has started... 06:41 So, the Union saw the work and they said... 06:42 "Three months is not enough, 06:44 you need to stay another three months... " amen. 06:45 Amen. 06:47 This is what young people are doing in Latin America 06:49 and also, I have someone here with me, 06:51 can you tell us your name and which GYC are you representing? 06:54 My name is Heligalon Salas 06:56 and I'm representing GYC Guatemala in Central America. 07:00 Amen, so, GYC has a... 07:03 this is their third year of GYC in Guatemala, 07:06 so can you tell us, did GYC just pop up in Guatemala 07:10 or how... how did it get started? 07:11 Well, actually no, GYC Guatemala started here in the States 07:16 three years ago in a hotel room in Louisville, Kentucky 07:20 after me and two other friends attended to the GYC 07:25 back in Louisville, Kentucky, 07:27 and we just prayed in that room 07:29 and asked for the guidance of God 07:31 to start our GYC in Guatemala. 07:33 Amen, so, you... you never know that 07:35 right now, in a hotel room, can be starting a new GYC, 07:38 amen. 07:40 So, can you tell us what... 07:41 what has been happening in Guatemala? 07:43 Yes, well, as you mentioned, this was our third Conference, 07:47 and last year, we had at the outreach 07:51 for this Evangelistic Campaign that was going to... 07:56 to be set after the Congress as a Post Conference, 08:00 and after that post Conference, over 20 people in that area 08:05 decided to be baptized after this. 08:09 So, you guys did the... the post Conference 08:12 which was in an Evangelistic Series 08:13 and after that, young people stayed and they preached 08:16 and more than 20 people got baptized after that. 08:19 That's right. 08:20 Amen, so, many of you, you have heard probably 08:23 in the news that a volcano erupted in Guatemala. 08:29 How many of you saw that? 08:30 Can you tell us, did GYC respond to that 08:33 or what happened? 08:35 Yes, we did, actually we partnered with ADRA this year 08:39 we gathered some food and some supplies 08:44 to get to these families that basically have lost everything, 08:47 their homes... their families and all... 08:49 but there was this man that was in one of the shelters, 08:54 he lost his family... he lost his home... 08:57 and he was like a little bit apart from the rest of the group 09:01 So, wait a second, he lost his home... 09:03 but his whole family passed away... 09:05 that they died during that situation? Wow! 09:08 Yes, that's right, 09:09 and three of our GYC volunteers approached this man... 09:13 they prayed for him 09:15 and after that, he was more receptive 09:18 about hearing more about the Bible 09:20 and he also tells us like... 09:23 for those weeks that we were visiting the Shelter, 09:26 we became his new family. 09:28 So, he said, "I lost a family but now you became my family. 09:33 Amen, this is what GYC is doing in Latin America... 09:37 touching people's lives... young people doing that work... 09:40 we also have now about Panama... 09:44 can you tell us what's happening in Panama? 09:45 Yes, so, David, there's going to be 100s of 1,000s 09:49 of young people coming to Panama. 09:51 David: Amen. 09:52 So, that's going to be the largest GYC ever, right? 09:55 Not really, so it's the World's Youth Conference 09:59 for the Catholics. 10:00 Okay, so, 100s of 1,000s of young people 10:03 are coming to Panama for a Youth Conference. 10:05 From all over the world. 10:07 David: Wow! and they're Catholics. 10:08 Yes, so they're going to be coming to Panama 10:12 as well as the Pope 10:13 and we're going to be having GYC Leaders 10:16 come from all over Latin America, 10:18 we're going to be training them, "How to share literature" 10:20 and we're going to be doing a one-million-Glow Challenge 10:23 where they're going to be passing out Glow 10:25 to all of these young people that are coming... 10:27 just seeking to plant gospel seeds as they are there. 10:30 And... and guess what? 10:31 We have developed a new Glow Tract for that 10:34 and in Spanish it's called, 10:36 "Bendita entre todas las mujeres" 10:38 Blessed among all women. 10:40 It's about Mary... and it teaches you that... 10:43 that the authority is not in Mary... it's in the Bible 10:46 because Mary herself said, "Do... " 10:50 you know, "May Your will be according to Your Word" 10:53 so that's what it's about right? 10:55 Yes, amen, so we're excited 10:58 because this is a purpose of GYC 11:01 to train and to galvanize young people to finish the work 11:04 in whose generation? 11:06 In our generation. 11:07 David: In our generation, and these are lot of Leaders 11:09 are going to come to Panama, 11:11 they're going to be trained how to do this mission trips, 11:13 and they are going to do it 11:15 and they're going to go back to their countries 11:17 and do the same thing 11:19 and I want to finish with a... with another country 11:22 which is GYC in Venezuela. 11:25 The situation has been really hard that 11:28 us from the US... we're not able to enter to the country 11:32 because of political situations 11:34 but I will tell you this that there are young people 11:37 that are committed to the work over there 11:39 and I will tell you a couple of stories 11:41 and one will show you the commitment 11:44 of these young people. 11:45 We went to the border between Colombia and Venezuela 11:50 to meet this group of young people 11:51 to give them some training and their goal... 11:56 we only asked them... 11:57 just come to the border, that's all that we want. 12:01 so, people have to come and they came to the border 12:05 and they needed some money to make the transportation 12:08 from the border side 12:10 to the place where we were meeting inside Columbia, 12:12 one of the girls... she's a medical student, 12:16 she had money only to go to the border, 12:20 but she didn't have money... 12:23 and her money's worth nothing in Colombia... 12:26 she didn't have money to move within Colombia 12:29 to go to the place where we were meeting 12:31 and she told us her story that nothing will stop her 12:35 to get some training about GYC 12:37 and the message of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. 12:40 What she did is... she made in her home 12:44 before traveling, she made rice desserts 12:47 and crossing the border, 12:49 she started selling those desserts on the streets, 12:52 so she can have some money 12:54 and this is the very same girl that she saw the need 13:00 because in Venezuela, right now there's so much starvation 13:04 that the kids... the children are passing out in the streets 13:08 because they're not eating at home... 13:09 they're not eating anywhere 13:11 so, she saw the need 13:12 and she opened a little school called: Benjamin School, 13:16 where they're hosting young children 13:19 and they're feeding them and also giving them education 13:22 and more than 90% of those children are not Adventists 13:26 and all their parents are receiving Bible Studies 13:28 through that 13:29 and this year they were able to... to... 13:32 to open the third school in Venezuela 13:35 so, we will... we will ask you for prayers 13:38 in Latin America 13:39 and I hope that many young people realize 13:42 that you can do a lot of things for God if you are willing, 13:46 thank you very much. 13:47 Pause... 13:49 Greetings, it's my pleasure to tell you about 13:53 our upcoming ASI Convention. 13:55 I'm Pastor Philip Baptiste, I'm the Departmental Director 13:58 and ASI Secretary-Treasurer for the North American Division. 14:02 ASI is a Department of the North American Division 14:05 and ASI stands for Adventist Laymen Services and Industries 14:09 and ASI exists to mobilize and empower lay business people, 14:14 lay ministry people... 14:15 lay professionals to engage in our mission 14:18 of sharing Christ in the Marketplace 14:21 and this year, we have an exciting... 14:24 next year actually, we have an exciting ASI Convention 14:28 happening July 31 to August 3rd in Louisville, Kentucky. 14:32 Our theme is Business Unusual and during that Convention, 14:35 we have, on the Friday, 14:37 a very special Young Professionals Event. 14:40 That Young Professional Event is all day Friday, meals included 14:44 and if you register for that 14:46 one-day Young Professionals' Event, 14:47 it's only $99 and we give you a complimentary registration 14:52 to the entire four days of the rest of the ASI Convention. 14:56 Now, I have with me 14:57 some exciting, dynamic Young Professionals 14:59 Mark Paden, tell us what's the first reason why... 15:02 we're going to share with you three reasons why 15:05 you should register to come to that Young Professionals' Event 15:09 what's the first reason why? 15:10 Yeah, so the first thing that we do here is networking. 15:13 You know, I'm a Young Professional... 15:14 all of us are Young Professionals. 15:16 I'm a freelance filmmaker and I live on networking, you know, 15:19 being able to work with other people in my... 15:22 in my category of work 15:23 and other people with complementary skill sets 15:25 is super helpful for me, 15:27 so like, being able to network with other people 15:29 who do well at finances or marketing... 15:31 that is so helpful... 15:33 so, that's the first thing that you'll I get... networking... 15:35 now, the other cool thing that I should mention though 15:37 about this event is that we are some of the Organizers for this 15:40 and we're young people, you know, 15:42 and we saw a need for young people to be able to network 15:45 with other young people about professional work, 15:48 you know, we're young and we want help from others 15:50 so, that's another cool thing about this event. 15:52 Thank you... Chris, what's the next reason why? 15:55 The second reason why you're not going to want to miss 15:57 the Young Professionals' ASI Event this year 16:00 is because of Mentorship, 16:02 so, I personally own a Digital Marketing Company, 16:05 and I know that mentorship is critical 16:07 to becoming successful in any business 16:09 there are people who carve the way 16:11 and find success before us that we can learn from 16:14 and there are people in the Adventist Church 16:16 who have found success in business... in ministry 16:20 that are offering this mentorship to us as young people 16:23 so, some of the people that we've had in the past 16:25 are Gary Rayner. 16:26 Gary Rayner has invented a special phone case 16:29 it's called the Lifeproof Cases... 16:30 a waterproof case for your iPhone 16:32 and so, he's a Seventh-day Adventist Christian, 16:34 he has a really big business 16:35 and so, we've had people like him, 16:37 we've also had people like Justin Coo 16:40 who is a famous vlogger on YouTube 16:42 and so, we've had people like that, 16:44 we've also had people like Chef Choo 16:46 who is a world famous Chef 16:48 who has started restaurants to reach the inner city 16:50 and who has a whole line of vegetarian meats. 16:53 Pause... 16:55 Awesome, so, networking... mentoring... 16:59 what's the third thing, Michelle? 17:00 All right, the third reason is training... 17:03 so, this event is meant to be practical... 17:06 we're going to learn things like, 17:07 "How do we become better leaders?" 17:09 Maybe you're wanting to grow in your profession... 17:10 in your career... 17:11 and you're figuring out how to do that 17:13 but not just for the sake of climbing a ladder 17:15 but for the sake of how to spread the gospel... 17:18 how do we become leaders 17:19 in sharing Christ in our professions. 17:21 We're going to talk about financial empowerment... 17:24 a lot of people ask me as a Business Professor... 17:26 as a young person... 17:27 "How do I really deal with my finances?" 17:29 That was feedback we got, 17:31 we're going to cover that this year, 17:32 we're going to talk about dealing with conflict. 17:35 How to deal with conflict in the workplace? 17:37 We're going to talk about how to be culturally relevant 17:40 in the workplace without compromise. 17:42 How do we share Christ? 17:44 How do we be relevant in the world 17:46 yet be true to what we believe 17:48 and we're also going to talk about entrepreneurship, 17:51 I know that there are some here that God has given you a burden 17:54 for a business or a ministry you want to start 17:56 and you're wondering how 17:58 and we're going to talk about that 18:00 and give real skills at this event. 18:02 Wow! Michelle, I can't wait to come 18:05 to the ASI Young Professionals' Event next year, 18:08 July 31 to August 3rd 18:10 and that one-day event is specifically August 2nd. 18:14 So, as people leave tonight, 18:16 we're going to give them something very special 18:18 in their hands, 18:19 Michelle, what are we going to give them 18:21 and what do they want to do with it? 18:22 All right, so you're going to get a card 18:24 as you go out the door 18:25 and on this card is a phone number... 18:27 please text: Go ASI to the phone number on this card 18:31 you'll be the first to know about early-bird registration 18:35 when it starts... and get 50% off regular registration 18:38 so, don't miss this... 18:40 make sure you get a card 18:41 and text: Go ASI to that number today. 18:44 All right, look at your neighbor and say, "Go ASI... " 18:47 Audience: Go ASI. 18:48 God bless you everyone. 18:50 Music... 20:07 How many of you have the Ellen White App on your phone 20:13 or your tablet? 20:14 Okay, how many of you use it at least once a week, 20:19 if not more? 20:21 A lot of you... 20:22 so imagine if you did not have access 20:27 to the writings of Ellen White 20:28 because it was written in a language 20:30 you could not understand? 20:31 This is a reality for so many of our brothers and sisters. 20:34 Of the official 440 publications of Ellen White, 20:39 only about a quarter of them 20:40 have been translated into Spanish 20:43 for the Ellen White Library. 20:45 German and French have been translated 20:48 into about 15% and 12% respectively 20:51 and many languages have been translated in less than 1%. 20:56 As Adventists, we believe that Ellen White's writings speak 21:01 with prophetic authority 21:03 and provide guidance, instruction 21:06 and correction for our church 21:08 but there are so many who do not have the writings of Ellen White 21:12 available to them. 21:13 They're left in the dark. 21:16 But translating is no easy task. 21:18 If we go about it by traditional means, 21:21 just for one of the major languages, 21:23 it would be millions of dollars invested and countless hours. 21:27 More than a 100 years have passed 21:29 and the job hasn't been completed 21:31 which is why we need a new approach... 21:34 something faster, something less expensive. 21:37 What if all bilingual or multilingual 21:42 Seventh-day Adventists from every country in the world 21:45 came together to translate the writings of Ellen White 21:49 into their native language? 21:51 Well, the General Conference and the White Estate 21:54 likes this idea and have decided to fund it 21:57 and that is how "ellen4all" began. 22:00 But how can we change these statistics? 22:03 How can we find more of Ellen White's writings 22:06 in other languages? 22:07 Well, think Wikipedia... 22:09 the world's youngest, largest 22:12 and most quoted encyclopedia in the world. 22:14 This innovative, open-source approach 22:17 is growing exponentially in content and reach 22:20 at a fraction of the cost 22:22 and "ellen4all" provides 22:24 a similarly collaborative platform. 22:27 Any given church member who speaks another language 22:31 can translate a text while more experienced translators 22:35 can edit that text 22:36 and once a final version has been produced, 22:39 there are a few trusted proofreaders 22:41 who will check that over in that language. 22:43 Once it's been approved by a White Estate Representative, 22:46 it's published 22:48 on the Ellen G. White Apps and websites. 22:50 In other words, it's a global community 22:53 of Adventist volunteers who are translating, editing 22:56 and regulating the translations of Ellen White's writings 23:00 which means we have an improved translation 23:03 in less time and less cost 23:06 providing Ellen White's writings for free digitally. 23:09 GYC, we are this global community. 23:13 We saw on Outreach how many people 23:17 speak different languages. 23:18 Well, currently "ellen4all" is Beta testing... 23:21 is in the Beta-testing phase for German and Swahili 23:24 but soon the translation of 12 main books 23:27 will be opening in 55 languages 23:30 which is part of the General Conference Initiative. 23:32 256 translators are on the platform now 23:37 and they have spent over 750 hours translating 23:42 so, with the help of GYC and other Organizations, 23:45 our hope is to grow that to 1,000s of translators 23:49 from around the world 23:50 and to have these books translated 23:52 by GC Session in 2020. 23:54 We invite everyone who loves the Spirit of Prophecy 23:59 and who wants to help translate it into their native language, 24:02 to join this Movement 24:03 and if you don't speak another language, 24:06 you probably know somebody who does 24:08 so we encourage you to share this. 24:10 Be a part of something bigger, something of eternal value, 24:15 if you have any questions, 24:17 you're welcome to stop by the 24:18 Outpost Centers International Booth, Number 404 24:21 and we also encourage you to check out: ellen4all. org 24:24 and start translating, thank you. 24:28 Pause... 24:32 more pause... 24:38 On Friday and Sabbath Jonathan and I stood here 24:42 and talked to you about our vision for GYC 24:45 and for you as GYC... 24:47 for GYC beyond... going beyond just a Conference, 24:50 for going to the world... 24:52 for sharing the gospel with others. 24:54 We talked to you about our idea for Iceland... 24:57 to go to this place 24:59 where we have such a small Christian presence 25:03 and to share with them just one simple thing. 25:08 We decided that we are going to go there 25:11 and we're going to pray for every single person we can find, 25:14 we're going to walk around the cities... 25:16 we're going to walk around that island 25:17 and we're going to pray and we're going to wait 25:19 and we're going to see what God is going to do. 25:21 Pause... 25:22 Jonathan will tell you a little bit more about that 25:25 in just a moment but before we do that, 25:27 while we wait for him to get here, 25:28 take a look at the short video. 25:30 All right, everybody, 25:32 are you ready to go to the end? 25:33 Music... 26:17 To the end... 26:24 Music... Iceland 2019. 26:30 Jonathan, can you hear me? 26:32 Pause... 26:34 I can hear you all right Eric, loud and clear, can you hear me? 26:38 Where are you right now? 26:39 Pause... 26:41 Greetings GYC from Iceland... 26:45 I'm freezing out here in the middle of Reykjavik 26:48 behind me is the Polar night and it's dark 26:53 and it keeps Iceland dark throughout the winter 26:57 and it reminds me about 26:59 how sin keeps this world in the darkness. 27:03 God has called us to light up this world. 27:06 As you can probably hear behind me, 27:09 there's still fireworks going on welcoming the New Year 27:11 but we are looking for more than temporary life, 27:14 we're looking for God's light... 27:16 for Jesus to come back... 27:17 we want to welcome Him 27:18 and we want His glory to be seen in this world. 27:21 Jesus told us to go into all the world 27:24 and to share the gospel. 27:26 He gave us the Holy Spirit 27:28 and He will empower us to go to the end 27:30 because He promised to be with us to the end. 27:34 In 2019... and I'm already in 2019 over here, 27:38 we will go to Iceland as Eric has shared 27:41 I'm here... and so, we're going to start right now 27:44 as I go to the first door... join me. 27:47 Pause... 27:50 Jonathan is walking to the door of a house... 27:55 climbing the stairs... 28:03 knocking on the door. 28:12 Audience: Amen. 28:13 GYC... may today mark the beginning 28:16 of a movement of people who are sold-outs to Christ, 28:20 ready to go to the end for Christ in this generation 28:23 to see him come soon. 28:25 If you are interested in signing up for this 28:29 and for going to the end as well, 28:31 we challenge you to commit to at least sign up 28:34 for more information as it comes out, 28:36 you can go to gycweb. org/Iceland 28:39 you can open the "attendify" App and click on the Iceland link 28:42 or you can text it at the number 610 text gyc 28:49 you see it on the screen right there 28:50 and you can say... if you're committing to go... 28:52 if you've made up your mind and you're ready to go, 28:54 you can say, "I will go" 28:56 and then we'll get that 28:57 but even if you aren't able to go, 29:00 even if you can't join us in Iceland... 29:03 fly all that far distance just to pray for people 29:06 and to do something radical for Christ, 29:07 your mission starts here... your mission starts now 29:11 to go to the end for Christ right now. 29:14 Go beyond GYC. 29:18 more pause... 29:22 Good evening GYC... 29:23 so, we'll be having our second and last offering 29:28 for the Convention, 29:29 and to put on a Convention like GYC, it costs quite a bit 29:33 and actually, we are... 29:35 I was asked to let you guys know 29:37 that we're actually $12,000 short of our budget 29:41 and, for example, to put this into perspective, 29:44 to go on Outreach... when we rent the buses... 29:47 it costs about $50 per row 29:50 so about $50 per two people that go on Outreach. 29:53 So, I'm... I'm sharing this with you 29:55 so you're all aware of what it takes 29:58 and what our need is 29:59 and how much we depend on your donations 30:01 to make this possible. 30:03 I mean, I get a blessing when I come to GYC, 30:05 and if we want to be able to rent a space like this 30:08 where 1,000s of us can be under one roof, 30:10 encouraging one another... inspiring one another... 30:12 being able to go back to... making connections with people 30:15 and going home and knowing that we have friends 30:17 that have the same mission, 30:19 we are... we need your support 30:21 so that's the Assistant Treasurer's side of things, 30:24 but the more personal "Madison side of things" 30:27 I'd like to share with you is about a lesson that I learned 30:31 a few years ago 30:32 so, I'd like to say that Jesus has my heart 30:34 but I know that sometimes there are pieces of it 30:37 that I take back and they aren't His... 30:40 so, few years ago, coming back from a summer mission trip, 30:43 me and my two friends... all our luggage was stolen, 30:46 our big suitcases... our little suitcases... 30:49 backpacks... our clothing... our Bibles... 30:52 personal notes from friends and my brand-new laptop. 30:56 So, right when it happened, it was kind of a shock 31:00 and, if you've ever had anything stolen before, it... 31:04 it feels surreal... 31:06 it was interesting going to the airport 31:09 and only having your wallet 31:10 it's was kind of fun to not have to be responsible 31:13 for your luggage, 31:14 but that evening when I boarded my plane 31:16 for a five-hour trip home by myself, 31:17 I was tired... exhausted... little bit cranky 31:20 and I started to think about every single thing 31:23 that I had lost... that was stolen 31:25 how much it cost... how much I liked it... 31:28 and how I would be starting college in a couple of weeks 31:30 and I needed a laptop... "I needed a laptop" 31:33 so, I got home... 31:36 the next weekend my family and I... 31:37 we went to a camp meeting 31:39 and they had an appeal 31:41 and I sat there with $50 in my back pocket 31:44 and I thought, "I really need this... 31:49 I have to get a new laptop, 31:51 I need to replace some of my items, 31:54 I need... I need... I need. " 31:56 and it was a little bit of a war in my heart with me and God 31:59 and then I realized that... 32:01 I learned that lesson right there in my life 32:03 that money comes and money goes... 32:05 possessions come and possessions go... 32:07 but God... God is always there for me forever 32:11 and I want to invest in God. 32:13 So, I'm sharing this with you 32:15 because I want to make an appeal to you today, 32:18 I was going to say that after the Convention, 32:21 but... to spend some time but 32:23 I would like you to spend time this evening, 32:25 to ask God what parts of your heart are not His yet... 32:30 to actually make God the center of your life. 32:34 This is an appeal to me as well. 32:37 I'm not trying to twist your arm 32:39 but we will be picking an offering up tonight 32:43 and if you decide to donate, you won't be disappointed 32:47 but I will be much more happier 32:50 knowing that a few 1,000 young people spent time 32:52 looking at their heart 32:54 and giving what they are still holding on to 32:56 back to the Lord so He can have all of it. 32:58 So, that's my short sermon. 33:00 Now, if you'd like to donate this evening, 33:03 I have seven ways you can donate 33:07 so you can pick the one that you think is the most fun for you. 33:11 So, one, you can drop money into the buckets 33:13 that will be passed around, 33:15 two, you could put money into the envelop 33:18 that was left on your seats, 33:19 three, you can fill out your Credit Card information 33:22 on this envelop, 33:23 number four, you can use the QR Code... 33:26 number five, you can go to our website: gycweb. org 33:31 to donate 33:33 also, you guys have the new App... the Tend-to-buy App 33:35 you can go on there and press "To Donate" as well 33:37 and the seventh way is, you can text: go give to 313131. 33:44 Before the Ushers come to collect the offering, 33:47 please bow your heads as I pray. 33:48 Pause... 33:51 "Dear heavenly Father, thank you for GYC, 33:53 thank you for the young people that are here. 33:55 Lord, please help... please show us what is in our hearts 33:59 that we haven't given over to you yet 34:01 that you can be the center of our lives. 34:04 Please help us to make investments in you, 34:07 because you are always there for us 34:09 and we would like to serve you in return. 34:12 In Jesus' name I pray, amen.
