It's been a wonderful Sabbath. Oh, yeah. 01:04 Did you have a good lunch? Amen! 01:07 Should we ask the audience at home how was their lunch? 01:09 How was your lunch? Not as good as ours 01:11 'cause we had Melody cook for us. That's right. 01:13 Had to eat kind of in a hurry but it was still a great lunch. 01:17 Should we give them a test? A test right after lunch. 01:19 How does that sound? Yeah? OK, Lemuel. 01:23 Should we ask them how many networks? How many networks 01:25 does 3ABN have? 01:26 Ooh. Seven? Now that brings us to an 02:46 important point. We have a lot of kids on the stage 02:48 with us today. And I know Aunt Francine is going to 02:52 tell us about that, but first this is Francine Bergmann 02:55 who we call Aunt Francine. 02:58 She is the general manager 03:01 of our 3ABN Kids Network. 03:03 And you're doing an incredible job, Francine. 03:05 Talk to us just a little bit about Kids Network. 03:07 Let me tell you: there's a lot happening. 03:10 And I am so grateful for your commitment to helping 03:13 these people - young people - learn about Jesus 03:16 and to grow in their faith with Jesus. 03:18 So thank you so much for your support. We did have 03:20 a wonderful summer in which we began with Kids Camp. 03:24 And that has launched. I don't know how many of you 03:26 may have already watched it, but we have already had 03:29 at least a few weeks of Kids Camp. 03:32 And so we're excited about that. 03:35 And it's wonderful to have these young people here. 03:38 They are just so always smiling. And again, thank you for 03:41 bringing them here. Those of you that have not 03:43 come before I hope someday that you'll be invited 03:47 to come and you are always welcome. 03:50 So I have some young people here. I'd like to go over 03:52 with Alex who is in what division? Do you remember 03:56 what division? Kindergarten? Kindergarten! 04:01 Kindergarten. And can you tell me, Alex: what have you 04:04 been learning in Kindergarten? I've learned about 04:08 Joshua and Caleb. 04:12 And they went to spy out the land. 04:15 And they... 04:22 They were helping... they were good for Jesus, right? 04:26 They were good for Jesus. Yes. Thank you so much Alex. 04:30 And then I have Makena. Makena, I see that you are 04:33 wearing a special shirt. Can you tell me about your shirt today? 04:36 We made these, and it says Stand Out. 04:39 So when someone's doing something wrong 04:42 you stand out for Jesus. 04:44 And the white spot on it is Jesus holding the cross. 04:49 All right. So over here we also have 04:54 in Primary we have our Gabriel. 04:57 And Gabriel, what have you been learning in your classes? 05:00 I've been learning about Daniel and when he stood up for what 05:03 was right and that he would not eat the bad food. 05:06 Amen. So you can see what is happening with 05:10 these young people. And again, it's your commitment. 05:13 And we want to praise God for all that He's been doing. 05:18 So thank you so much. So Gavin, can you tell us 05:20 what you've been learning? We've also been learning 05:23 about Daniel. How even though he could have been killed 05:27 he still prayed with his window open. 05:29 That's good! Amen. 05:31 And so over here I have Hovis. Calvin... I'm sorry. 05:36 And what have you been learning, Calvin? 05:39 Well yesterday we went to the Veterans Hospital 05:42 and what we did there is we helped them with their garden. 05:46 We helped them with their garden; we also sang songs 05:50 to them and passing out cookies to appreciate what they have 05:53 done for us. Yeah, so hope- fully we can have some of the 05:56 pictures here a little bit later but they did wonderful things. 06:01 They did bake these wonderful cookies 06:04 and we had a lot of help. And then each group 06:07 made cards for these veterans. 06:10 Oh, I can see them here. And so that was a delight. 06:13 Let me tell you it was quite a ministry. 06:15 And I believe all of us have been touched, 06:18 those that were there. So I want to say thank you 06:21 because there was a lot happening. 06:23 There was time to be able to pray, 06:25 to sing with them, and to even help weed. Are those cookies? 06:29 Those are the cookies. Sugar- free cookies and sugar cookies 06:32 that the kids made. Boy, those look good! 06:34 So that was our ministry because just seeing... When we have 06:38 young people it's not just talking about serving God. 06:41 We actually need to put it into practice. 06:43 And this was the opportunity to be able to do that. Um-hmm. 06:46 So these young people have a way to be able to share with you. 06:51 They've learned a song, and they've only had since yesterday 06:54 to learn it. And some of them are trying to do sign language. 06:58 So we're going to have Tim help us out with the song. 09:11 Amen! 09:13 Before we leave the stage I want to have Gavin here 09:17 pray for us. So appreciate that. 09:36 And NAPS... we're going to talk to them in just a little bit 09:39 and talk about the leadership that they have with our children 09:41 here in the children's division. 09:43 Coming out next is Jason Bradley 09:47 who is the general manager of 3ABN's Dare to Dream Network. 09:52 That is our urban network that specifically focuses 09:56 on the needs in the urban community. 09:59 Jason came... Is it five years you've been here? 10:02 Is it five years, Jason? Yeah... almost six, almost six. 10:07 He's my neighbor because his office and my office 10:10 are kind of catty-corner to each other 10:11 so we call each other neighbor. 10:12 I can sit in my chair and kind of look through the doorways 10:14 and see Jason, and we'll wave at each other from time to time. 10:16 Now I'm living next to the "White House. " 10:21 So I'm loving that... I'm lovin that! 10:25 This brother's pretty fast... he's quick! 10:28 Thank you, Jason. But it's really neat to see 10:31 what God has done in his life. You've heard his testimony 10:33 and of course the prayers of his mother Dr. Yvonne Lewis-Shelton. 10:36 And Jason, it's neat to see how God is working in your life. 10:40 How you've chosen to dedicate your life to Him. 10:43 God is doing great things through you. 10:44 Thank you for your leadership. 10:46 Praise the Lord! You know one of the definitions 10:49 of a dream 10:52 is a cherished aspiration, ambition, or ideal. 10:57 A cherished aspiration, ambition, or ideal. 11:01 Oftentimes when people have dreams they dream of a better 11:05 place. They dream of a better situation; they dream of 11:08 a better set of circumstances. 11:12 I dream of a world where 11:15 people love their neighbors as themselves. 11:19 I dream of a world where people care about 11:24 each other. I dream of a world 11:26 where people aren't selfish. 11:31 I dream of a world where there's no suffering and sorrow. 11:37 And the beautiful thing about that dream is 11:39 that dream is going to, by God's grace, come to fruition 11:43 one day. And I'm so happy that the name of the network 11:48 is 3ABN's Dare to Dream Network. 11:52 So I dare to dream for these things, but 11:54 how can we be a part of making these things come to fruition? 12:00 Well, one way that Dare to Dream takes part in that 12:05 and all of you take part in that: 12:07 we try and create programs that help to equip and empower 12:12 the community. So what do I mean by that? 12:15 We have programs on financial literacy. 12:18 How to manage your money. 12:20 We look at Biblical principles. There's a lot of principles 12:24 that are found in the Bible as it pertains to finance 12:28 and I didn't even realize that. 12:30 But we have programs that really bring that out. 12:33 We also have sexual purity programs. 12:37 We've got health and wellness. 12:39 Cooking programs! How many of you know that I love food? 12:46 I love GOOD food... let me clarify that. 12:49 I love delicious food. 12:51 All right. Quite a few of you know that. 12:54 Well, we have cooking programs where the food is very good 12:58 and it's very good for you. 13:00 You know, a lot of times people tell you: "You need to eat 13:04 a healthier diet. You need to have a healthier diet. 13:07 You need to live and lead a healthier lifestyle. " 13:10 How do I do that 13:11 and it still tastes good? 13:14 'Cause I don't want to eat nasty stuff. I'm sorry. 13:17 So we have programs that will equip you with those tools. 13:23 A lot of times you look around and unfortunately 13:26 you see an absenteeism of fathers in the home. 13:30 We have a program called The Father's Heart 13:32 that deals with that. We have a group of guys 13:35 that come on and they share. They get real vulnerable... 13:38 sometimes they cry. They talk about their experiences 13:41 when they were children and their relationship 13:43 with their father or lack thereof. 13:47 And then they talk about their relationship with their children 13:51 and how they're raising their children to know about God and 13:54 they're loving their children and just all of those things. 13:59 Our communities need that. 14:01 We also have parenting programs. Not just a fatherhood program 14:05 but parenting programs: The Pumped Up Parent. 14:08 We also have a Bible prophecy program. 14:12 How many of you have seen Salvation in Symbols and Signs? 14:15 Wow! Quite a number of you; quite a number of you. 14:19 Well, we are actually scheduled to record 14:22 some episodes covering the book of Daniel coming up 14:25 pretty soon here in November 14:28 so we're looking forward to that. 14:29 We've already recorded 24 episodes 14:33 but we're trying to wait till we have them all together 14:36 so we can just release it at that time. 14:39 I recently received a letter from an inmate 14:43 who had actually been watching Salvation in Symbols and Signs 14:46 and he began to see the book of Revelation as a love story 14:51 and one that was Christ-centered 14:54 and focused on Christ. 14:55 And it totally just transformed his view on things. 15:00 The beautiful thing about media and television is that 15:05 it can reach... Just like you and I are sitting here 15:10 in this building, the signal goes around the world! 15:15 That means somebody turns on their TV or they're surfing 15:18 the Web or maybe they're on YouTube or maybe they download 15:22 the free 3ABN app 15:25 and they can find out about the gospel of Jesus Christ. 15:31 In the last 28 days, Dare to Dream's YouTube channel 15:34 stream plus all of its videos have had a combined 15:38 total of 479,649 minutes of video watched 15:44 with 27,752 views. 15:48 And Salvation in Symbols and Signs playlist has 15:51 a combined total of 159,698 views 15:56 since last October 17th. I'd like to think that number's 16:00 in the millions. And it's not because 16:03 we're on the program or anything like that. 16:06 It's because the program is teaching people about Christ 16:10 and is painting Revelation in a way that is Christ-centered 16:15 and a love story. 16:17 Christ is coming back for a purified bride 16:20 and that's what Salvation in Symbols and Signs is all about. 16:23 And that's what Dare to Dream is all about is pointing 16:26 people towards Jesus so that we can dare to dream 16:30 for that better society and that that can become a reality. 16:35 God bless. 16:42 I'm here with NAPS... and I'm not talking about sleeping. 16:46 Let's talk about that after lunch, right? 16:48 So don't go to sleep... and you won't during NAPS. 16:50 I'm here with Darla. And you've been with NAPS for how many 16:54 years, Darla? I have been with NAPS since the year 2000 16:58 so that's about... uh... 19, 20 years. 17:03 That's quite a while that's for sure. Yes. 17:04 3ABN and NAPS have been associated together, working 17:07 together for? Wow! Before I came to 3ABN. 17:10 Before I joined NAPS, so... That's been a while ago. 17:13 But we appreciate NAPS and what you all do. 17:15 In case you don't know, in case you're new 17:17 and don't know what NAPS stands for, Darla what does 17:19 N- A-P-S stand for? 17:21 NAPS stands for The National Association 17:23 for the Prevention of Starvation. 17:26 And some of you maybe have heard of NAPS before 17:30 but I know that one thing I've seen 17:34 is whenever God is involved in something 17:37 it will do nothing but grow. 17:39 And I have watched as I have grown 17:42 that NAPS has grown as well. 17:45 NAPS is now not just a group that has traveled to over 17:49 23 countries. It's not just a group 17:52 that has traveled to over 40 states. 17:55 But now NAPS has grown; it has its own medical clinic. 17:59 It has its own wellness center 18:02 where people have come from all over the country 18:04 and have received healing from Jesus Christ. Amen! 18:09 People with even stage 4 prostate and colon cancer. 18:12 Wow! People with diabetes... high blood pressure 18:15 and so much more. 18:16 But it doesn't stop there. 18:18 God has blessed NAPS to start up... one thing that is 18:23 really close to my heart and that is a school. 18:26 First it started with an elementary school. 18:29 We call it NALA. You notice that not all 18:31 the shirts up here are blue. 18:33 Well we have some NALA students. It goes all the way from nursery 18:37 all the way up to tenth grade right now. 18:41 And this is a school where young children are given 18:44 an opportunity to be missionaries for Christ. 18:47 And to show you the power of it many of our students 18:51 this past year, I think we had about ten of our students 18:54 decide to get baptized this past year! 18:58 Amen! And they're so excited. It's like as they share Christ 19:02 God is becoming a part of their hearts. 19:05 And so that's so powerful. 19:06 But with the children coming on 19:09 some of the older people got a little jealous. 19:12 They said: "Man, I wish I had had a school like this 19:15 when I was young" and thus began GEM. 19:19 And I'm going to let these two tell you a little bit 19:22 about what GEMS is. This is Madelene Gustave 19:26 and she is actually one of our GEM students. 19:30 And this is John Paul Carpenter and he is one of our 19:33 GEMS instructors. So they're going to tell you 19:36 just a little bit of what God is doing with GEMS. 19:40 So I'm actually one of the students at GEMS, 19:42 and GEMS is actually the NAPS Global Evangelism 19:46 Medical Missionary School. 19:47 And the reason I actually chose to be a part of GEMS 19:50 is because as a student I actually felt really impressed 19:54 that the Lord was calling me to do more. 19:56 And after hearing about NAPS starting up this school 19:59 I decided that that was the way I wanted to do more. 20:03 And so it's been a HUGE blessing. 20:05 There's been so many testimonies. 20:07 Even with the couple of months now we've been in school 20:10 God has been able to show me why He has me there. 20:13 And there's just so much that God is willing to do 20:18 in that community, and I'm so glad that He's chosen me 20:20 to be a part of that. And one testimony was actually 20:23 there was one woman we met and she was actually looking for 20:26 a carpenter. 20:29 Amen. My name is John Carpenter. 20:32 I am a carpenter. 20:34 But praise the Lord. It's won- derful how He works things out. 20:39 As soon as the school started a lady came 20:43 to the wellness center. And my wife was there 20:46 and she said: "I heard that y'all might have 20:49 a carpenter or some people that can help me 20:51 on my mama's house. " 20:53 Her mama... Where we are stationed at is a very low... 20:59 It's a poverty area. There's only like one Adventist church 21:02 in an area of 30 counties 21:05 so there's very little light there. 21:07 So there's a lot of diseases. We do a lot of health in the home 21:11 with what we teach with the medical missionaries 21:14 but we also are teaching them practical skills. 21:17 Things... we do plumbing, carpentry work, sheet rock. 21:21 Anything to do with a house we train them in as well. 21:27 But this lady... Her mama is an elderly lady, very sick. 21:32 But her house is leaking. It's got tarps all over the top 21:35 of it that her church had come and tried to fix 21:39 by doing tarps, but the water was still coming in - 21:42 hmm - right on top of her bed. 21:44 Wow! So we were able to go 21:46 and start working on her house 21:48 but it also opens the door for the medical missionaries 21:51 to come in as well. 21:53 And so it's been a great blessing. We're very excited 21:56 about GEMS and we want to invite you, 21:59 invite others to come: instructors, students... please. 22:04 It's a beautiful thing. It's divine, and we pray for 22:08 many to join us as well. 22:10 Now you mentioned something dealing with the health 22:13 in the home. Now one thing NAPS believes in 22:17 is being the hands and feet of Christ. Amen. 22:20 That means that really... when people ask "What does NAPS do? " 22:24 it's like asking: "What did Jesus do? " 22:26 God has called us to be His hands and His feet 22:30 so when people see us they see Him. 22:32 And Madelene, you have just a beautiful story 22:36 of how God has used the health in the home 22:40 to reach not just in the home but even how it has moved 22:44 into the wellness center. Yes. 22:47 So one of the outreach that we do in GEMS is actually 22:51 health in the home. And that is where we as students are able to 22:54 go into the community into the homes of the residents 22:57 and be able to pretty much educate them on different health 23:00 principles as well as conduct Bible studies. 23:03 And so we met one woman when we were out one Sabbath 23:06 doing a children's program. And the blessing in that is that 23:10 we went and there were a ton of children there 23:12 but they were pretty much doing anything they wanted. 23:15 And so we decided we wanted to use that opportunity 23:18 to encourage them in the Lord 23:19 and also hopefully be good role models for them. 23:22 And so we had a children's program. 23:24 And one of the mothers came up to and told us 23:26 her need... of her financial need... 23:28 and us as students... we didn't really know what we could do. 23:32 But we wanted to help as best as we could 23:34 and so we started visiting her in health in the home. 23:38 And we went to her home and she quickly came to the door 23:42 and closed the door behind her and we talked outside 23:44 of her home. And we were pretty much just trying to give her 23:48 any resources that we could find to try and help her 23:50 to pay off her bills. 23:52 And we prayed with her and encouraged her. 23:54 And afterwards we left and prayed and asked the Lord... 23:58 We saw that she was very hesitant to let us into her home 24:01 which shows you the kind of community that we are in 24:04 and how a lot of them are a bit shy as far as 24:08 letting people into their homes because some people have 24:11 not necessarily helped them in the way that they needed. 24:13 And so we were just praying: "Lord, please allow this 24:17 woman to develop a relationship with us 24:19 so that we can conduct Bible studies 24:22 and really share with her Your love. " 24:23 And so we went back the next day and she again was just telling 24:26 us the struggle that she was having 24:28 to the point where she didn't even have any more diapers 24:31 to be able to put on her child that day. And so 24:36 as students we don't have much money, but 24:38 diapers are just a couple of bucks. And so we put 24:41 our money together and went to the grocery store 24:44 down the street, grabbed some diapers, 24:46 and brought it to her hoping that that would also 24:49 help her to see that we really want to help her. 24:51 And so we brought it to her and she was so grateful 24:54 to the point where we came the next week and the door was 24:56 just a bit more open. 24:58 Amen! And we knew that God was working. 25:01 And then soon - later enough - a couple weeks after that 25:05 we kept encouraging her and praying with her 25:08 and just sharing with her God's love. 25:10 And one day we came and the door was wide open. 25:13 She invited us right into her home onto her couch 25:16 and we were able to conduct Bible studies with her 25:18 first time. This is just an interesting 26:04 little tidbit. When Jill and I first got married 26:07 seventeen years ago he and his wife 26:09 were the first family that invited us over to their house 26:12 as we were newlyweds to your house. 26:14 So we appreciate them and it was a wonderful meal. 26:17 But we appreciate the work that you and your wife have been 26:19 doing here at 3ABN. You've been here now 30 years 26:22 and you came as a single man. 26:24 Yes I did. I came as a single man. 26:26 We both got married... our wives are here. 26:28 But what happened? You still have your hair... I don't. 26:31 Still... So, just so you know 26:33 people tease me that I don't have gray hair. 26:34 Well I DO have some gray hair and just so you know: 26:36 Pastor John Lomacang was pulling some of it out. 26:41 Thank you Pastor Johnny. 26:43 Thank you. Well praise the Lord 3ABN was called to 26:47 bring the undiluted 3 angels' messages to the whole world 26:51 and 3ABN Latino is a continuation of that. 26:55 3ABN is a ministry of divine origin. 26:58 And I praise the Lord because He is using 3ABN Latino 27:01 to reach people for Jesus Christ. 27:04 And when 3ABN Latino was finally put on the air 27:07 on satellite... It's on satellite, now we have to get 27:10 on cable stations and TV stations. 27:12 And I remember being in my office... 27:14 I used to work in Pastoral at the same time... 27:16 and I took a deep breath: "Lord, how are we going to get 27:19 this on TV stations and cable stations? " 27:22 'Cause I knew a little bit about how that process is 27:26 here in the U.S. You have to talk to churches, 27:29 you have to talk to conference officials, etc. 27:31 And I imagined that it would take a long time. 27:34 But guess what? The Lord is in control. 27:37 He impressed upon members of the church 27:38 and pastors to help us get on cable, and 3ABN Latino grew 27:42 very very fast. 27:44 We are on over 1,300 cable stations! 27:48 And we just praise the Lord for the downlinks. 27:50 There are over 30 downlinks that broadcast 3ABN Latino. 27:54 And God has been taking this and reaching people. 27:57 I have met people that have been gang members 28:01 and one of them has now studied to be a pastor. 28:05 We have met drug addicts 28:07 that one of them is now studying to be a pastor. 28:10 Met a presidential candidate in Costa Rica 28:15 that watches 3ABN. 28:18 And when I met him I didn't know that. 28:21 He goes: "John! Good to see you. I watch 3ABN! " 28:24 "I watch Idalia! " And he told me all kinds of things 28:28 that he watched on 3ABN and he praised the Lord. 28:30 Even secular music singers watching 3ABN. 28:35 I talked to the husband of one of them. 28:37 I can't mention the name. 28:39 And he told me: "Yes, I'm recording programs here 28:42 for my wife. " So we pray that the Lord will 28:45 bring all these people to Him. 28:48 And you may have heard that recently 3ABN put back on 28:53 the air our channel in Puerto Rico. 28:55 It was knocked down by the hurricane 28:57 but it's back on the air. But 3ABN took a step of faith 29:00 and signed a contract. We are now on another four 29:05 television stations making 5 to cover the whole 29:08 island of Puerto Rico. And we are getting marvelous reports 29:11 of people watching and they are saying 29:14 "This is what I've been needing. " 29:18 So I need your prayers also for Nicaragua. 29:22 We have been asking prayer for Nicaragua several years ago. 29:27 Obstacles, obstacles, obstacles. 29:29 It's like the devil didn't want this channel to go on the air. 29:32 And we were able to get on the air on a tower that was 29:37 owned by the conference office in Managua, Nicaragua. 29:42 And in that tower... We were on the air for almost a year 29:48 and for some reason the devil doesn't want that channel 29:50 on the air so he knocked down the tower. 29:53 So we ask for your prayers because we have a new site 29:57 for us, and the tower is going up. 30:02 But there are obstacles there that the devil is 30:05 putting in place. We need your prayers 30:07 so that something similar to what happened in Puerto Rico 30:10 happens to Nicaragua 30:12 because that frequency allows us to go all over the nation 30:16 of Nicaragua. So we ask for your prayers. 30:20 We have seen so many things that the Lord has done, 30:24 and we just praise the Lord that 3ABN Latino's on the air. 30:27 In about two weeks Idalia and I 30:32 and some of our 3ABN Latino team members 30:34 are going to Santo Domingo. 30:38 Why are we going to Santo Domingo, the Dominican Republic? 30:41 Because we have been on the air for several years. 30:44 We have heard of people coming to the Lord 30:46 but now 187 simultaneous evangelistic campaigns 30:51 during the first week making appeals for baptism. 30:55 And we are praying that those people that have been watching 30:58 for several years will make decisions for Jesus Christ. 31:02 We need your prayers for that. 31:04 And we want to give literature to them, so if you would like to 31:07 support towards that, let us know by sending it. 31:12 And the second week, 3 evangelists from 3ABN Latino 31:17 that the viewers are accustomed to seeing 31:19 in their homes are going to be there in the second week 31:23 preaching the gospel. And we are going to be announcing this 31:27 so that these people that have been watching in their homes 31:30 will come. And what they will hear is the message of God. 31:36 And we ask for your prayers so that people will make decisions 31:39 for Jesus. 31:40 We praise the Lord for what God has done. 31:43 But I believe God has greater things He wants to do. 31:47 Why? Because "God is not will- ing that any should perish. " 31:52 And this is why 3ABN exists 31:54 and this is why we need to keep this going 31:57 until God says "Stop. I'm grateful for Danny. 32:50 As many of you know, this was kind of Danny's brain child. 32:53 He loves music, and he kind of pushed me out of the nest. 32:58 Because I came back in '16, 2016, to begin as general mgr. 33:04 of the Praise Him! Network, but I had a little failure 33:08 to launch syndrome. But he's good at just 33:12 kicking you out and saying" Fly, man! " 33:15 So... But I owe so many people deep gratitude 33:20 for helping me get this thing off the ground 33:22 and it's certainly not a one-man network by any means. 33:27 This is a huge undertaking, and we're working on 33:31 creating new content. We have some new programs 33:34 coming up on the Praise Him! Network. 33:37 Piano Praise... which is just going to be piano music. 33:41 3ABN's Praise Him Today which will be like 33:44 the 3ABN Today on 3ABN. 33:48 We'll have a Pause to Pray program which will be just 33:51 a 30-minute prayer program... a great time of prayer. 33:54 We have Camp Meeting Classics which will be going back through 33:57 the years and getting some of the music from the Camp Meetings 34:00 that we've enjoyed. Be fun to see how we've all 34:03 grown older through that. 34:05 And then World of Praise. You know, some of the other networks 34:08 that are international: Russia, French, and the international 34:12 Australia channel... they all show some wonderful music. 34:17 And so we're going to combine some of the talent from those 34:22 different networks to make a program, so it will be 34:25 kind of interesting because it will be in some languages 34:28 that not all of are familiar with. 34:30 So there'll be some "Google translate" I guess we could say 34:34 across the bottom that will explain the song. 34:37 But it'll be just great to see how we are all in this thing 34:40 together. This is an international ministry 34:43 and we are praising Him around the world. 34:47 So it's a good thing to be a part of God's family. 34:50 In January I want you to be sure and be watching 34:52 the Praise Him! Network for Ten Days of Prayer. 34:55 It'll be... We did that in January of this year; 34:59 we're going to be doing it again. Just get some wonderful 35:02 response from around the world. Belgium, Malaysia. 35:06 Just two hours ago I received a message that says they watch 35:11 the Your Favorites by Request program 35:14 on Home Base TV. I haven't even asked anybody 35:18 what that is necessarily 35:19 but it's in sunny South Africa. 35:23 So I received that e-mail just a couple hours ago 35:26 from a lady who watches the program 35:28 and says she enjoys it... so we'll keep on doing that. 35:31 In the past 28 days we have... on YouTube we have 35:36 had almost 6,000 views 35:40 and 177,000 minutes have been viewed on YouTube. 35:46 So thanks to Adam Dean for statistics. 35:49 Again, we've got a whole crew that are wonderful. 35:52 Ryan Day, my assistant, and then just this past month 35:56 we hired Rachel Younkin as my secretary. 36:01 And I have done more in the past month than I have done 36:04 in the past year thanks to Rachel... 36:07 or no thanks. Anyway, but seriously: she's good for me 36:11 'cause I'm creative but I'm not quite organized. 36:14 But I'm going to sing a song that basically sums up 36:18 everything that I just said. 36:21 And it's all to the glory of God. 36:32 Lately I've been looking back 36:35 along this winding road 36:38 to the old, familiar markers 36:41 all the mercies I have known. 36:46 I know it may sound simple 36:49 but it's more than a cliché 36:53 for there's no better way to tell you 36:57 than to say: 37:02 "God's been good 37:06 in my life" 37:10 and I feel blessed beyond my wildest dreams 37:15 when I go to sleep each night. 37:18 And though I've had my share of hard times 37:22 I wouldn't change them if I could 37:26 for through it all 37:29 God's been good... 37:34 through it all 37:38 God's been 37:42 so good. Thank you, Tim. 37:59 Praise Him! is very special to me. 38:01 I work with Praise Him! to push Tim 38:07 to this position and it has been a blessing. 38:11 So I thank Tim for taking this channel: 38:16 a 24-hour music channel at 3ABN. 38:20 So with the nine channels one of the channels that is 38:24 is dear to me also is 3ABN Francais. 38:30 It's a language that is not very 38:35 disseminated, but it is a language that 38:40 is well-spoken all over the world. 38:43 And I thought that there was a need 38:46 to give the three angels' message 38:49 in that language. So I was very thankful 38:54 that 3ABN allowed 38:58 in October of 2010 39:01 so it has been nine years that 3ABN Francais has 39:05 been preaching the three angels' messages. 39:09 We are on the Internet. 39:12 3abnfrançais.tv 39:15 You can check it out even if you don't speak French. 39:18 Tell your French-speaking people that we have 39:23 a ministry in the French language. 39:26 We've received several e-mails. I have several here 39:32 that are in French. But many of them 39:36 are encouragement to us 39:39 because 3ABN Francais has been a blessing to them 39:43 and they are thanking us. Some of them are asking for 39:47 prayer requests. Some of them are 39:50 asking for lessons. 39:53 And we are thankful that we have Amazing Facts 39:57 to help on that request. 40:01 And we are producing programs 40:05 here in our studios. 40:08 We have people that come - volunteers - 40:11 and I thank Rose Bolo from Martinique and her family 40:16 that comes once a year and we record several programs. 40:21 We just did a recording of a quartet from Martinique. 40:26 We did a series of recording of twenty-six programs 40:31 with Pastor Jose Elise. 40:36 He used to be with It Is Written in Canada. 40:40 He has retired and he speaks the French language, 40:45 so we are very blessed when he comes 40:48 and he just recorded 26 programs in the Revelation 40:53 subject but with a view of Jesus... 40:58 not as much as 40:59 the symbols and signs 41:04 of Revelation but in a more loving way 41:08 that we don't see Revelation spoken like that. 41:11 So we praise God for those programs. 41:13 We haven't started broadcasting yet, but it's going to be new 41:17 programs that we'll be broadcasting soon. 41:19 And also we recorded fourteen new programs with 41:22 Pastor Gracia. He's a pastor from Atlanta. 41:28 He is an expert in marriage seminars, 41:32 and he gave us many good programs that we are still going 41:37 to edit to broadcast soon. 41:40 So we praise God for the content that we have 41:43 in the French language 41:45 and for 3ABN allowing us to broadcast this 41:51 in the French language. Just switching hats a little bit 41:55 here, I also oversee development of 3ABN. 42:01 And I want to share with you a tremendous blessing 42:04 that I just received about a month ago. 42:07 You have heard that 3ABN had a 3ABN NGO 42:14 in Ghana, Africa. And we started last year 42:19 broadcasting in the capital city of Ghana: 42:22 in Accra in Ghana. 42:25 And just about a month ago 42:28 with the pressure and persis- tence of the local volunteers 42:35 there the government allowed to take that 42:38 digital from the capital city and distribute it 42:42 all over the country of Ghana. 42:44 And this is a tremendous new addition of 3ABN 42:50 in that country. We have several other things 42:54 happening in Engineering... so changing hats again 42:57 for the Engineering side. 42:59 We are happy that we have a new application 43:02 on Amazon Fire TV. If you have Amazon 43:06 or if you know a friend who has Amazon 43:09 do a quick search for 3ABN and you will find our app. 43:14 It's free and it's very good. 43:17 I like it. It's very modern. 43:21 We also re-did the app on Roku. 43:26 And if you have a Roku you can do a new search 43:32 and download the new app. It's very nice. 43:36 We have re-done that. 43:38 We also continue to work on maintaining 19 downlink stations 43:44 that we have. We have Dan Peek... I'm still traveling some. 43:48 Not as much as we did. We divested from some 43:52 of the stations that we couldn't keep up 43:55 but we kept 19 stations and they are still broadcasting. 43:59 The other stations that we divest, we still kept 44:04 one channel that is 3ABN. 44:07 So the Lord is blessing 3ABN in many different languages 44:11 as you see the reports here. 44:13 Many different countries, and we are so happy that 44:17 the message is being preached 24/7 in many different ways. 44:22 Now my time is gone, but I am very happy to introduce 44:26 Celestine. We take it seriously 50:35 and we're doing everything we can to help. 50:37 Got a couple of stories to tell you 50:40 about what happens with 3ABN Radio 50:43 when people listen to it. 50:45 Mike and Chris, some people here from the 50:48 Thompsonville area, listened for a while, probably mostly Chris. 50:54 She loved to listen to 3ABN Radio here 50:58 except when preaching about the Sabbath came on. 51:02 Now they went to church very regularly but on a different day 51:06 and so when the Sabbath preaching came on 51:11 she'd turn the radio off real fast. 51:14 But next time she got in her car she turned us back on again. 51:19 So she would listen except for a message about the Sabbath. 51:23 And finally one day she said: "You know, Lord, I'm gonna 51:26 either get this or I'm not. Help me out 51:29 and let me see whether it's true or not. " 51:33 And one day she was driving right in front of the church 51:36 here, and on our billboard was a sign that said 51:40 3ABN Camp Meeting: 51:43 main speaker Doug Batchelor. 51:49 That was her favorite speaker. 51:51 And she went home and told Mike: "We've gotta go! " 51:53 So they came... they came for the weekend. 51:56 They looked at each other and they said: "We cannot deny it. " 52:00 Amen! "We can't deny the Sabbath. " 52:03 When we hear things like this from listeners... 52:08 We also like to hear it from viewers, but we certainly like 52:12 to hear it from listeners. When we hear that 52:15 it's very encouraging for us because we know that this 52:19 happens around the world... it doesn't just happen here. 52:25 We have a young lady by the name of Ramona 52:28 that has just joined the church. She was just baptized 52:32 a few months ago. She had never thought about 52:36 Christianity much... wasn't raised in the church. 52:39 She started listening to 3ABN Radio 52:42 and now she's part of the family. 52:45 Praise God for that! 52:46 We have wonderful affiliates, 52:49 and I've got a quick story to tell you about one of them. 52:51 I just got an e-mail a couple of days ago 52:54 and he wrote and said... They already owned a couple 52:59 of stations. I'm not going to tell you who it is 'cause 53:01 I don't have his permission to use his name. 53:04 But they have a couple of stations 53:07 and they found a station in another part of the state 53:12 for sale 53:14 and the owner said he's really very happy to work with them. 53:19 And so he went back, 53:22 presented the information to the board, 53:26 and said: "This is a station we'd like to add. " 53:29 They said: "How much money do we have? " 53:36 "Zero! " Didn't have any money in the bank 53:40 for another radio station. 53:42 "Well, how much do we have promised in our fundraising? " 53:45 "Zero... " again. 53:48 And the board said: "Let's do it! " 53:51 Who does this sound like? 53:54 Did we hear a story similar to this 53:57 from Danny just a short while ago? 54:01 And so it's just tremendously exciting 54:05 when we hear these things. 54:07 And so we want to thank you.
