We're calling it our Interactive 00:52 Camp Meeting because it's not like usual. 00:55 There's not a lot of people out here. 00:57 We're looking. We see a crew... skeleton crew. 01:00 But we know from you all... You're writing us that 01:03 you're watching and listening literally around the world. 01:06 I think that's amazing. Don't you all? 01:07 Glad to have Sr. Yvonne here 01:09 and Bro. Kenny and Chris. 01:11 Glad you guys are here. 01:13 We're thankful to be here. 01:14 Isn't it amazing that we can in times like this 01:17 even though COVID is around and all of these 01:19 we still can reach people literally around the world 01:23 with the gospel: the saving power of the Lord Jesus Christ. 01:26 I mean, incredible. What do you think? 01:28 It is incredible, and I'm not that techno-savvy 01:31 but you don't have to be. You can just, you know, 01:33 you can just make sure that you do what you're supposed to do 01:36 and you can see! We can interact 01:39 and see and watch, and it's goin' around the world 01:42 which to me is just so amazing 01:44 because the gospel is getting around the world right now. 01:47 Even as we speak people are tun- ing in and they're going to hear 01:50 about Jesus. Absolutely! I wanted to talk to Bro. Kenny 01:53 and Chris. You guys give us a little bit of word. 01:55 But we were talking about last night: this COVID thing. 01:58 The whole world, has their attention. 02:00 Do you see this as a dis- advantage or an advantage 02:03 for those in ministry? 02:05 Oh, I see a positive... an advantage right now. 02:08 We have the opportunity and privilege as mentioned here 02:10 to go around the world with this beautiful message 02:13 that God has given us as a people to give to the world. 02:16 And a lot of people are maybe staying home. 02:18 I think they're watching more maybe than ever before. 02:21 They're not being distracted by the things that's going on 02:24 and they want to have some answers. 02:26 Um-hmm. The answer to the question of how long is this 02:29 going to go on? Maybe I might be affected by this. 02:33 Maybe it's going to change my whole life: 02:35 job, whatever it might be. 02:37 And so they're wanting to know: "Is this a sign 02:39 of the coming of Jesus? " 02:41 "Is this a plague? " You know: "Is this something? " 02:44 All kinds of questions and here's a golden opportunity 02:46 for 3ABN to get into these homes and answer the questions 02:50 that are pertinent to this hour that we are living in. 02:52 Because I think this: the mind is open like never before. 02:55 The hearts are open like never before. 02:57 It seems always that way when there's a crisis. 03:00 And really this IS a crisis. 03:02 This is a time that the world is changing - 03:05 um-hmm - and I'm going to say it may never change back. 03:07 But it's changing right now and God's people need to be... 03:10 We need not sit down; we need not shut up. 03:12 We need to move forward right now. Get up; 03:14 sound an alarm. Jesus is coming... be ready. 03:17 This is why 3ABN was raised, and so by God's grace 03:20 and with this Camp Meeting - Homecoming Camp Meeting - 03:22 is a time to really get out and preach the message 03:25 and step into that light. 03:26 Amen. That's right. You know, we as SDA's 03:29 we've read a lot about prophecy throughout the years. 03:32 But we knew that a lot of these things were going to happen. 03:35 Most everybody knows that there were going to be pestilence. 03:38 But even some of this dissention and the changes in our economy 03:42 we knew that, but we didn't know how it was going to come about. 03:46 But I think as those of us in ministry 03:49 we've possibly been more busy during this time. 03:52 You know, we've met with churches in other states. 03:54 We've done Zoom meetings and all kinds of different... 03:57 Even just phone meetings, and it's kept us very very busy. 04:01 I want to tell a story about... She was my 1st SS teacher. 04:05 And I was trying to think how old I might have been. 04:07 Maybe Primary age. 04:08 I'd come down and I'd live with my grandma. 04:10 You remember my Grandma Rita? 04:12 And I'd stay with them. 04:13 Her name is Lorene Wallace. She's about 84 04:16 Pastor's thinking. Mercy. I talked to her about an hour, 04:18 hour and a half the other night. 04:20 And she's not been able to get out because of COVID. 04:23 And she says: "I cannot tell you 04:26 how many times I thank God for 3ABN. " 04:31 Amen! She said: "If it weren't for 3ABN, 04:33 I would feel so alone. " 04:36 "And somehow" she says: "I want my son to come over 04:39 and just make my TV... set it so that it just stays on 3ABN. " 04:44 She said: "The people there: they're like family to me now. " 04:47 So I think around the world 04:50 we probably have more viewers and more people. 04:53 In fact, I can't even count how many people 04:56 that a lot of these messages that we've been airing 05:00 over the airwaves have changed their lives. 05:02 People are leaving the cities. Yes. 05:04 And they didn't wait till everything became really bad. 05:08 Many have just left. We had a lady come in the ministry 05:11 what? About two weeks ago. 05:12 And she just drove from Colorado. 05:15 And she came in and she said: "What do you guys do here? " 05:18 So I started telling her about 3ABN and about 05:20 outreach and book outreach. She said: "Well, 05:23 I watch 3ABN all the time. " 05:25 She said: "I'm here because the Lord impressed me 05:27 to get out of the city. " Amen! You know, 05:29 so people are listening. The Holy Spirit's working 05:33 and we praise God for 3ABN. 05:35 Praise God for Camp Meeting! 05:37 Amen! People rely on Camp Meetings; that's a high time! 05:41 That's a time when the Holy Spirit is so busy 05:44 and what a blessing that we are able to do it even this way. 05:48 And it gives us an opportunity to get the message... 05:51 the three angels' messages... into all the world. 05:53 Kenny said people are asking questions. 05:56 In fact, we wrote a little book called After COVID What Next? 05:59 We hope that book would have been out of style by now, 06:02 would have been no need for it... but here we are 06:05 this late in the fall of this year 06:08 and it's still spreading and still going around. 06:11 I mean, it's still a pandemic that's beyond what any of us 06:15 could have imagined even a year ago. 06:18 So we see how quickly things can change. 06:21 Um-hmm. But what an opportunity. So I want to take this time 06:23 to thank you, our viewing audience, for your love, 06:26 your prayers, your financial support of 3ABN. 06:29 Because literally, without it we could not be reaching the world. 06:32 So we're a team... we're all team members. That's right. 06:34 We're on the same team... that's the Lord's team! 06:36 And so thank you for your sacrifices, 06:39 for what you've been doing. 06:40 The book... we put out over 6 million 06:42 and well you saw. Literally on the kitchen table I had a pile 06:46 of letters - yes - we were sign ing of people reading the book 06:49 thanking us for the book. There are many of those 06:51 that's never been... weren't Christians. 06:53 They're people now looking at Christianity. 06:55 And it's a little book that basically you know we're able 06:58 to send out for almost nothing 07:00 and it's reaching millions of people. 07:01 So there's always ways. Don't be discouraged - 07:04 that's right - and say: "Well what's God got in store for me? 07:06 What can I do? I can't get out any more. 07:09 I can't do this or that. " Well, one way: 07:11 supporting 3ABN - that's right! because we can do that part. 07:15 We're on the front lines. But the other way, of course: 07:17 is you can pray. You've got your telephone. 07:19 Most of you've got Smartphones now. 07:21 You can go on social media... tell the world about Jesus 07:25 and what He's done for you. Amen! 07:26 Your personal testimony is your greatest asset 07:29 as a Christian because who can argue with it. 07:32 That's right! Right? People can't argue with what God 07:35 has done for you. So when you give your personal testimony 07:37 people listen and lives are changed because we're 07:40 uplifting Jesus. He says: "I, if I be lifted up 07:43 from this earth, will draw all men unto Me. " 07:46 Praise God! What do you think? Any closing thoughts 07:48 before we leave the stage and we have Bro. Tim Parton 07:52 back here... In fact, why don't we talk about him 07:54 for just a minute? Why don't we? Let's do! 07:56 Why don't we? I like to talk about a guy 07:58 in front of him rather than behind his back. That's right! 08:00 That's right. So... But you know what? I just want to say 08:03 Tim is an amazing blessing. Like, he just... 08:06 And I know he gets embarrassed when we compliment him 08:10 'cause he's such a humble person, but God has endowed him 08:13 with amazing gifts, and he gives credit to the Giver 08:17 of the gifts. And so we just praise the Lord for Tim 08:20 and his beautiful spirit and his AMAZING talent. 08:24 We just praise the Lord for you, Brother. 08:26 Absolutely we do! I hope it reaches a lot of people. 25:01 There are people out there that are hurting, 25:03 that think that they're not going down the right path 25:07 or they think that God's not paying attention to you. 25:12 But I want you to know that He still loves you. 25:15 That nothing's changed... except you. 25:20 And all you have to do is turn your life around 25:24 towards Him and He'll make the rest of the decisions for you. 25:35 I was lost. With loving hands 25:40 He reached for me. 25:44 So tenderly He sought to give 25:49 me victory. 25:54 Yet stubbornly 25:57 I would not heed 25:59 the Savior's plea. 26:05 But patiently 26:07 He kept lovin' me. 26:16 He kept right on loving 26:20 when there was no love in return. 26:26 He kept right on pleading 26:30 when His voice I would spurn. 26:36 And though I went my selfish way 26:41 and I failed Him miserably 26:47 patiently 26:49 He kept lovin' me. 27:02 Today I know that it was only grace 27:07 that set me free. 27:11 God could have just 27:14 as easily gave up on me. 27:20 But persistently 27:24 He dealt with me 27:27 until I let Him in. Oh... 27:33 I thank my God that He kept lovin' me. 27:41 He kept right on loving 27:46 when there was no love in return. 27:52 He kept right on pleading 27:56 when His voice I would spurn. 28:02 And though I went my selfish way 28:06 and I failed him miserably, oh 28:13 I thank my God 28:15 that He kept lovin' me... 28:22 oh praise the Lord 28:26 He kept lovin' 28:32 me. 28:45 Hey Gene! " 40:44 But God says: "I will be there with you. " 40:48 "When the winds blow I'll be there with you.
