00:24 Welcome to Heavens Declare. I'm Jim Burr sharing the heavens 00:28 the universe. In the previous two programs we were talking 00:32 about science in the classroom and showing how they say we want 00:36 testable science, we want something we can test, something 00:41 we can falsify. We don't want intelligence, we don't want 00:45 creation, that's faith. And actually it turns out that it 00:48 takes an awful lot of faith, more than faith than I have, to 00:53 believe in the Big Bang theory, to believe in evolution, that we 00:58 can come from little micro organisms to man, could evolve 01:03 through mutations. Their only hope is this copying process of 01:08 the DNA, that it makes mistakes and some of these mistakes once 01:12 in a while gets a beneficial mistake and then natural 01:16 selection, survival of the fittest takes over and here we 01:20 are after billions of years. I've done quite a bit of home 01:25 school seminars and I often bring in a frog and ask some of 01:28 the girls to volunteer to come up and kiss the frog and see if 01:32 we can turn him into a prince. If you turn him into a prince, 01:37 of course, that becomes a fairy tale unless you add millions and 01:41 millions and millions of years. You see they used to believe in 01:44 spontaneous generation of life and Louis Pasteur demolished 01:48 spontaneous generation of life. Back then the recipe, you had a 01:52 recipe for making mice. You simply put grain and rags in a 01:57 corner and in a few weeks you had baby mice, spontaneous 02:01 generation. So that has been demolished actually. But I want 02:05 to pick up a little bit from that program. We're going to get 02:08 into the little bang theory which is a totally new concept, 02:11 I think, for many people. But I wanted to finish a little bit 02:15 from the previous program. Because when we look around the 02:21 universe we see all these constants. The Bible says, the 02:26 Lord says, I am the Lord, I change not. And we see hundreds 02:30 of constants, they would call them constants, things that are 02:35 constant, that the universe depends on to survive. I have a 02:40 special issue from Scientific American on cosmology and the 02:44 origin of the universe and in there they talk about the 02:50 problems. How could everything come from nothing? The very 02:54 existence of the Big Bang, how could everything appear from 02:58 nothing. When you look around the universe, the uniformity is 03:01 a problem. It doesn't seem to match an exploding star. The 03:05 expansion of the universe, the fact that we see the universe 03:08 expanding. That's a problem. Dark matter is something they 03:11 create to explain what's happening in the galaxies. 03:15 Vacuum energy is maybe what's sucking these galaxies apart 03:19 faster and faster. Why does everything go around and around? 03:22 We're going to get into the Hadron collider and you'll see 03:26 when they smash these protons together what happens? They go 03:30 off in lines, straight old lines out and yet we'll see all the 03:34 galaxies spinning. We see all the solar systems, all the 03:38 planets spinning around our sun. Why does everything go around and 03:42 around It does not seem to match up with the Big Bang explosion. 03:46 Density is the big problem, the density of the universe. It must 03:49 be one part in 10 quintillion which is very critical. The 03:56 vacuum energy density. Here was an article in Sky and Telescope 04:01 magazine, p. 22, June 2010, talking about the vacuum energy 04:06 density of the universe. It says, Theoretical attempts to 04:10 calculate the expected value of the vacuum energy density 04:15 produces results that are at least 50 orders of magnitude 04:20 higher than what they observe. That's like 50 zeroes. The Bible 04:25 tells us 17 times, God stretches out the heavens. That's what we 04:30 seem to see happening in the universe. It seems to be 04:34 expanding and the Lord didn't need dark matter or vacuum 04:40 energy. So our class today, our subject, is conservation of 04:45 angular momentum. If the sun formed from a rotating cloud 04:49 then everything should be rotating in the same way. If the 04:53 big bang happened then nothing should be rotating and so we 04:58 look at the Hadron collider. Some of the constants in the 05:02 universe: Many features in the law of nature appear to be so 05:06 finely tuned, a small change in any one of the constants that 05:11 appear in physics' equations typically lead to a disaster. 05:16 That was from Scientific American, January, 2010. Some of 05:20 the constants that we have would be the strong nuclear 05:24 force, the weak nuclear force. We actually know more about the 05:28 strong nuclear force and the weak nuclear force than we do 05:31 about the gravitational force. They are testing the 05:34 gravitational force. You know gravitons, gravity waves, travel 05:37 at the speed of light. One of the constants is the mass of the 05:41 proton, the density of the universe, the electromagnetic 05:45 force constant, the ratio of the electromagnetic force constant 05:49 with the gravitational force constant and the ratio of the 05:53 electron to the proton. God says I am the Lord, I change not. 05:57 Some more of these constants would be the ratio of the 06:00 electron to the proton mass, the ratio of the number of protons 06:04 to the number of electrons, the mass density of the universe, 06:08 the density of the galaxy clusters, the cosmological 06:11 constants, the mass of the neutrino, the fine structure 06:15 constant, the decay rate of the proton. Those are some of the 06:19 constants. They tell us that if they shift even just slightly, 06:24 there's no life on earth. You know, getting back to mutations 06:30 and where did we come from; they cannot tell you how life started 06:35 They cannot tell you. The best example they have is Miller and 06:42 Urey with their ammonia and their hydrogen and their methane 06:48 boiling in this little container that evaporated and condensed 06:53 at 400 below zero and what they made was tar, stuff we make 06:58 roads out of and it had left- handed and right-handed amino 07:02 acids and all of life is made every karyotic cell is made 07:07 by left-handed amino acids. Even one right-handed would 07:12 destroy what they're trying to do, create life. And that is 07:16 in the textbooks. This is the best example we have of how life 07:19 could have started in a warm little pond. Evolution takes 07:24 over once you get a microbe who makes mistakes in his copying of 07:28 his gene pool and occasionally some mutations will be 07:35 beneficial and here we are; everything came from this warm 07:39 little pond. To go from a microbe to man you must invent 07:43 about three billion nucleotides, that's letters. Please tell me 07:47 how stupid atoms can write their own software. Bill Gates 07:55 said the DNA is more complex than any computer code ever 08:00 devised. Now he goes even further. He didn't just say more 08:06 he said it is very, very much more complex than any computer 08:12 code ever devised. How many software people has Bill Gates 08:18 hired over the last 30 years. He says DNA is more complex. 08:23 Even Francis Crick who discovered it, he knows that 08:29 life could never have evolved when he sees the complexity of 08:34 the DNA. So Francis Crick says must have been aliens that 08:38 brought life here. Sent it maybe on a comet. Well where did they 08:43 come from. It was another advanced civilization of aliens 08:47 that started life and where did they come from? Another advanced 08:51 civilization of alien life. Folks, they just can't admit that there 08:56 is a God that created it. It's absolutely impossible to have 09:01 upward mutations. In your genetic code you have six 09:05 billion letters in that code that makes you, the recipe for 09:09 you. It's a message of God written in the universe, a 09:14 picture of you that's never been seen before. That's six billion 09:19 letter codes. Evolution says mistakes in copying is how we 09:24 came from that warm little pond. But folks there are 50, if you 09:30 get a series, you'll find that there are 50 genes that are 09:34 designed to fix the errors, proof read, that correct for 09:38 errors. Even though you may make up to a million mistakes every 09:41 cell, every time it's copied, your letter code, your genetic 09:45 code every time it's copied, you could have 100,000 to a million 09:48 mistakes. When the proof readers get done you only get one in a 09:52 billion mistakes that get through. That's why you could 09:55 not evolve from this pond because every time you try to 09:58 get a mutation 50 genes say no you don't. OK. So I wanted to 10:03 move along because we've been talking about science in the 10:07 classroom, testing the Bible, testing evolution and there's 10:11 one graphic I wanted to share with you and it has to do with 10:17 a fossil fish. In fact, I have the fossil here and you'll see 10:24 a fish that's as flat as a sheet of paper. How do you get a flat 10:30 fish? Throw a fish on the beach; what happens? Well the birds eat 10:37 it and you end up with just bones in a day or two. You 10:40 cannot create a fossil. Fossils are not being created today. 10:44 But if you have a flood like the Bible says there was a flood 10:48 and all of a sudden we have layer after layer after layer 10:52 of fossils in here. If you were to look at the edge of this you 10:55 would say I can see a fish there and a creature there and a 10:58 creature there and a creature there as flat as a sheet of 11:01 paper. If the fountains of the deep opened up and they bury 11:04 all these creature, that's how you get fossil fish, a whole 11:07 fish flattened out to as fine as a piece of tissue paper. So the 11:11 Bible says if we want to test evolution, test the Bible. We 11:15 can test the Bible. It says that there was a global flood and we 11:18 can test that. Some people say well there was not enough water 11:23 on earth to have a flood. OK. Yet scientists say that Mars was 11:27 flooded. How much water is on Mars today? Well they think 11:30 there may be a little bit under the soil they've found there. 11:33 They're having a really hard time finding water on Mars but 11:36 science says Mars was flooded. But it doesn't have any oceans 11:39 today and on earth we're 70 percent ocean. They say there 11:43 wasn't enough water to flood the earth. There is much evidence 11:47 for a global flood including evidence from geology, 11:50 archeology, ancient legends and catastrophism. Dr. Aaron Smith 11:55 of the University of Greensboro collected a complete history of 12:00 the literature on Noah's ark. He found 80,000 works in 72 12:05 languages about a flood. So that's one area we can test. We 12:09 can see evidence that there was a flood. We've talked about the 12:13 fact that the animals reproduce after their kind. Evolution says 12:18 no, we have cross species. Evolution 10 million species, 12:21 OK, all came from a little microorganism. The Bible says 12:24 after their kind they reproduced The Bible says there was a 12:27 global flood. The Bible says you can't count the stars; we have 12:30 proven that, the stars are innumerable. That was 3000 years 12:34 ago. Scientists today agree with that. The Bible says 17 times 12:38 he stretched out the heavens and science agrees with that. The 12:41 Bible says the earth hangs on nothing; we can test that. The 12:45 Bible says the earth is a circle and it's not flat; we can test 12:48 that and we have tested that. The Bible says the earth is 12:50 getting old like a garment and the Bible says there was a flood 12:54 OK we've seen all that. The Bible says one star differs from 12:57 another star. All of these things, if you want something 13:01 you can test we can test them. What we've shown in these two 13:04 programs is the fact that science is constantly changing. 13:08 We're making new discoveries, books are becoming obsolete and 13:11 if you want something you can test, you could actually test 13:15 that. I want to go to the graphic that we have of the back 13:19 side of the moon. The front side of the moon is quite smooth. The 13:23 back side of the moon is just beat up like crazy. If you 13:28 believe in creation and God, how do you explain that. Evolution 13:32 says well of course, it's been here for billions of years; 13:35 that's what we expect. So how do we as creationists... Folks 13:39 there's a really good explanation for that. 13:40 The next graphic you will see the front side of the moon. 13:44 The side that we see actually is quite smooth compared to the 13:48 one we just saw. You see how smooth that is. So the back side 13:52 of the moon has gotten really beat up. The explanation is for 13:56 that is something has happened since the flood. At creation 14:00 every day was good, every day was good, every day was very 14:05 good. An asteroid hitting the earth is not good. Already in 14:11 2016 a man was killed in India when an asteroid hit. You 14:17 probably remember seeing the one from Russia in February, I think 14:22 it was about 2014; we had this tremendous asteroid that came in 14:27 and it like blew out windows and destroyed some buildings and 14:33 people died and it made a great big hole in the ice. That would 14:39 not be good, yet every day of creation was very good. What 14:43 happened. What has happened since creation. Something has 14:48 happened. Well we have another graphic coming up and it shows 14:52 that we are living in a... our earth is going through a 14:55 shooting gallery. Here you see the sun in the center, Mercury, 15:00 Venus, Earth, Mars and you see the asteroids that are crossing 15:04 our orbit and the orbits of Mercury, Venus, Earth and Mars. 15:09 I would suggest that this was not true at creation. This was 15:13 not there at creation. Every day was very good. An asteroid 15:16 hitting is not good. We get hit every month. Every two weeks our 15:22 earth gets hit with an asteroid. The impact of which would be 15:26 like a thousand tons of TNT. Every two weeks, our earth gets 15:33 hit. I have the pictures from NASA nuclear testing and every 15:38 two weeks we get hit. Now the planet is 70 percent ocean and 15:43 another 30-40 percent of it is, well a very high percentage 15:49 would be desolate land and deserts and forests and so 15:53 forth where man is not inhabiting. So many of these 15:58 impacts we don't see and they burn up. You see the come in at 16:02 the earth, the earth is traveling 66,000 miles an hour 16:05 and these impacts burn up. But on the moon they don't burn up; 16:10 there's no atmosphere to slow them down or burn them up so 16:15 they impact. There is evidence now, I've known about this for 16:21 30 years. A gentleman wrote a book on the little bang theory 16:26 and what he said was since about the time of the flood there was 16:31 a planet destroyed at the asteroid belt where the asteroid 16:35 belt is. We should have a planet according to Bode's law, we 16:38 should have a planet where the asteroid belt is. Now all we 16:42 have is this rock, the asteroids are just chunks of rock in that 16:46 orbit where that planet should be. As I said, I've known about 16:50 this for 30 years but I've kept my mouth shut until just 16:53 recently and now there's so much evidence that something happened 16:57 at the time of the flood. It appears a planet was destroyed 17:02 at the time of the flood. There was a planet where the asteroid 17:05 belt is. Astronomers will talk about this. You can look up the 17:09 Late Heavy Bombardment of the inner solar system. There's a 17:13 thousand papers written on how the inner solar system is beat 17:17 up from the asteroid belt. Late Heavy Bombardment. Look that up. 17:21 Google that. So some of the evidence is... Every day of 17:28 creation was very good. Asteroid hitting would not be good. If we 17:34 look at Mars, Mars being right next to the asteroid belt. 17:38 The meteor impacts on Mars are in one hemisphere. Ninety 17:42 percent of the impacts on Mars are on one hemisphere. Ninety 17:45 percent of the impacts on Mars happened in four hours. We know 17:49 the rotation speed of Mars and the impacts happened from the 17:54 asteroid belt in four hours on Mars in one hemisphere. The back 17:59 side of the moon is beat up, the side that we don't see, because 18:03 now we have debris coming in. If a planet was destroyed, if the 18:07 Lord crashed something in there at the time of the flood, we 18:11 have debris for the windows of heaven. The Bible tells us there 18:14 was a water canopy over the earth and it never had rained 18:18 prior to that time, they didn't have rain. It needs dust 18:22 particles to rain, it needs particles to form the water 18:25 droplets. Now we have this exploding planet, all this 18:29 debris spread throughout the solar system, the inner solar 18:33 system particularly, we have a source to cause the windows of 18:38 heaven to open up and cause the flood. I was reading an article 18:42 that said that the moon is all beat up on the back side and we 18:45 see the same side of the moon all the time. The moon shows 18:49 it's same face to us all the time and we don't see the back 18:52 side and we couldn't believe when the Russians went up and 18:55 took the first pictures of the back side of the moon, we 18:57 couldn't believe how beat up it was. So here's an article that 19:01 says well obviously the wind shield on your car gets all the 19:05 rocks and pits so they said obviously the moon... this used 19:08 to be the front of the moon, the leading edge of the moon as it 19:11 went around, but now it's shifted and we don't see that 19:14 side. On the moon when we have impacts on the moon they don't 19:20 burn up. On earth we have the atmosphere that burns up meteor 19:24 impacts. We have vegetation that covers them up. We have water 19:29 erosion, we have wind erosion, many of them never hit the 19:32 ground and so we don't see the impacts because of the 19:35 atmosphere and all of these things. We do know some big ones 19:39 We had a big one in Russia, we had a big one in Arizona, 19:43 Berringer Crater. There's one in Crater Lake in Oregon and so we 19:48 know many of these big, big impacts out there. There's whole 19:53 strings of these things out there. But the reason the moon 19:56 looks so much worse than the earth is because we do have an 20:00 atmosphere, we have wind erosion water erosion and vegetation 20:04 grows up to cover up the impacts where the moon doesn't have that 20:09 Now some of the clinching evidence was that really started me 20:15 talking about this, there is a mathematician in Australia by 20:22 the name of Dodwell. He started looking at Stonehenge which is 20:27 made around the solstice and made around the planets and so 20:33 forth and there's another one in Egypt, a monolith like this, and 20:38 it's called Ahmad Rah. It's in Karnak and on this one the sun 20:42 comes down. That's a third of a mile long, that corridor is a 20:45 third of a mile long. On the longest day of the year the sun 20:48 comes down there for that one day, comes down that corridor. 20:52 The Pharaoh would stand there and be identified as the sun god 20:55 OK. Well the sun doesn't come down there anymore and as 20:58 Dodwell, this mathematician from Australia, starting looking at 21:02 Stonehenge and started looking at Ahmad Rah, Karnak there, the 21:07 temple and the sun doesn't come down there anymore and things 21:12 aren't working. In fact, the historians and astronomers can't 21:17 even agree on Stonehenge. I think the historians were saying 21:22 it was made by the Druids 300 B.C. and the astronomers say it 21:28 was like 1000 B.C. because of the conflict in the orbits 21:31 there and so forth of the solstice and the planets. 21:36 So Dodwell went to work mathematically and came to the 21:40 conclusion something hit our earth at the time of the flood. 21:45 Dodwell calculated that there was an impact on the earth at 21:49 2348 B.C. You can go on the internet and read about Dodwell. 21:53 He said something hit the earth at 2348 and began the flood, 21:57 shifted it on its axis. The earth is like a free gyro 22:01 A gyro spins but then when you bump it sets up another 22:05 wobble. Over time it tends to correct itself. It wasn't till I 22:12 read about Dodwell and Arch Bishop Usher that I started 22:15 talking about that. Now a Christian can explain. When you 22:18 see that moon so beat up. Evolution says of course, it's 22:22 been here for billions of years, that's what we expect. But when 22:25 you read about the late heavy bombardment. Now of course, late 22:29 heavy bombardment, they would talk about millions of years ago 22:33 the inner solar system was beat up. But they admit the inner 22:37 solar system was beat up from the asteroid belt in the late 22:43 heavy bombardment. So Dodwell says something hit the earth. He 22:48 calculated mathematically that something hit the earth at 22:54 2348 B.C. Arch Bishop Usher calculated the flood was 2345 22:59 B.C. and that was the clincher. That's when I started talking 23:04 about this. I think there's something there folks. When Arch 23:08 Bishop Usher calculates the flood like three years different 23:12 from a mathematician working backwards from Ahmad Rah 23:21 the temple in Egypt in Karnak. So to me we now have an 23:30 explanation of how the moon got so beat up. When evolution says 23:37 they expect that because the earth and moon are billions of 23:46 years old. Well that is part of that program. But folks, the 23:52 more I get into astronomy, the more I get under the microscope 23:58 the more I read and learn, I see an incredible God. The Bible 24:03 says, What is man that thou art mindful of him? The Bible says, 24:08 My thoughts are not your thoughts, My ways are not your 24:10 ways. As high as the heavens are above the earth are My ways 24:13 above your ways. How high are the heavens above the earth? 24:16 Well the Hubble has shown us that. You know the Hubble looked 24:20 through a little tiny speck of the sky and saw 20,000 galaxies 24:23 and now we have a picture of what they say is the last galaxy 24:27 the farthest galaxy we have ever seen and they believe that 24:32 it's about 13.7 billion light years away, taking 13.7 billion 24:37 years for that light to get here from that farthest galaxy. I 24:40 should probably say, and I've said this before in this series, 24:44 I think the earth is young and there 100 things about the earth 24:49 that show us it was young. We can look at the nickel in the 24:54 ocean, we can look at the erosions. If the earth was 24:55 billions and billions of years old we'd be eroded into the sea. 24:59 We could look at the depletion of the magnetic field, we could 25:04 look at the moon moving away. If you run that back a couple 25:08 million years the earth is overcome by tides and we would 25:13 have 3000-foot tides at the rate the moon is now moving away. 25:19 There is too much evidence that God placed life on it here in 25:24 recent times. Well getting back to that farthest galaxy out 25:29 there, 13... we cannot comprehend a billion, we can't 25:35 comprehend a light year, six trillion miles. We can't 25:41 comprehend that and yet the Bible in Psalm 103, starting at 25:45 verse 10 is one of my favorite ones. The Bible says that God 25:50 hasn't dealt with us after our sin. Are you thankful? We're 25:55 thankful for that, aren't we? We're all sinful people. We're 25:59 all sinners in need of his grace and so the Bible says God 26:03 doesn't deal with us after our sin nor reward us according to 26:07 our iniquity for as high as the heavens are above the earth 26:12 that's how great God's mercy is. Can you comprehend that 13.7. 26:17 We can't comprehend that, can we How great his mercy is and his 26:21 love for us. What's the next verse say? As far as the east is 26:26 from the west... Can you comprehend how far the east is 26:29 from the west? We can't comprehend that can we? 26:33 Psalm 103 verses 10, 11 and 12 says that's how far he's 26:38 removed our transgressions from us. Praise the Lord. 26:42 As high as the heavens are above the earth that's how great his 26:45 mercy is. As far as the east is from the west that's how far he 26:49 has removed our transgressions from us. I know there are many 26:52 Christians in America that's all they want to hear, this 26:55 unbelievable grace. They don't want to hear about following the 27:01 Lord. I was lecturing in Pinehurst, North Carolina at a 27:04 Presbyterian church and a teacher came up to me and he 27:08 said we live in the Bible belt, we're in the Bible belt down 27:10 here. He says down here everybody loves Jesus. Nobody 27:15 knows what he said. So we need to follow the Lord but we need a 27:20 balance. The Bible does say straight is the gate and narrow 27:24 is the way. So once again folks thank you for watching Heavens 27:29 Declare. |
