00:31 I am happy to partner with Child Impact International 00:34 to provide this special program for you. 00:38 This is a time of need. 00:40 This is a tragic time. 00:42 And so, we hope that the music and the words will encourage 00:45 and bless you. 00:47 Child Impact as a ministry, 00:50 along with its supporters 00:51 that have been making a difference 00:52 in the lives of thousands of children 00:55 in six countries. 00:57 Personally, I have traveled with the CEO of Child Impact, 01:01 Jim Rennie 01:02 to places like India and Myanmar. 01:05 I have seen with my own eyes, the lives being changed, 01:10 the work that is being done with these precious children 01:13 to give them hope, a future in Jesus Christ. 01:18 So welcome to our special program. 01:21 I hope you are blessed. 01:23 Throughout our program, 01:25 we are going to be dedicating the songs to the children 01:29 in some of these schools and places 01:31 that I've had the opportunity to visit. 01:34 One of them is the deaf school. 01:36 Thanks to its supporters, 01:38 Child Impact is able to fund 01:41 and support an Adventist Mission School 01:43 for the Deaf in India. 01:46 These young people would never have 01:48 an education otherwise, 01:50 but now they are thriving, 01:52 they are learning sign language and they can have a career, 01:56 a hope and a future. 01:58 His eye is on the sparrow. 06:36 Turn your eyes upon Jesus 06:38 is dedicated to the children in Bangladesh. 06:41 Bangladesh is actually one of the poorest 06:44 and most densely populated countries 06:46 in the world. 06:48 The Adventist Mission schools 06:50 serve mainly those poor and rural communities. 06:55 Sending a child to a boarding school 06:58 means that not only will they receive an education 07:01 but they will be fed. 10:08 Oh, magnify the Lord 10:10 is dedicated to the more than 2000 children 10:14 that are sponsored in India. 10:17 Child Impact sponsors these children 10:20 in Adventist Mission schools. 10:23 They are very, very poor. 10:25 And they have an opportunity through these sponsorships 10:27 to receive a wonderful Christian education. 10:30 The parents are especially grateful 10:32 for this opportunity. 10:34 And many of these children meet Jesus during this time. 12:48 Thank you so much for joining us. 12:50 I hope you enjoyed 12:52 these mini concerts for the kids. 12:55 The first time I went to India, 12:57 at the end of our trip we visited a village, 12:59 it was a very poor village. 13:02 And a gentleman came up to me and he said, 13:03 "Sir, would you please help us? 13:06 Would you help the people of India?" 13:09 I'll never forget those words. 13:11 And as we left to go to the airport 13:13 and I would catch my flight to come home, 13:16 I decided, I do want to help, 13:19 I can help. 13:21 In fact, you can help too, 13:22 all of us can make a difference 13:25 in the lives of others for the glory of God. 13:28 Child Impact is reaching more than 3000 young people. 13:33 The sponsorship is the key element 13:35 and work that Child Impact does, 13:37 but there is so much more that can be done. 13:40 I want to invite you to go to childimpact.org, 13:45 see the website, look at the pictures, 13:47 read the stories 13:48 and see how so many lives are being changed. 13:52 Obviously, you can sponsor a child 13:55 and a little goes a long way. 13:57 But there's also the Where Needed Most Fund, 14:01 opportunities come to support certain projects. 14:05 And we would love for you to know that your funds, 14:09 your support is making a huge impact in the lives 14:12 of these precious young people there. 14:14 May God bless you, 14:16 may He keep you safe, and may we be together again. 14:21 In Jesus' name, amen. |
