00:18 I'm Kelly Mowrer and today we'll be reading together 00:21 in the Book of Ezekiel. 00:22 But first let's pray before we start. 00:26 Dear Heavenly Father, 00:27 thank you so much for a time to come apart 00:31 and to hear Your words. 00:33 Please be with us now, 00:35 as we read and show us the ways 00:38 that these messages applied to the situations 00:40 that we're each going through right now, 00:43 Thank you for loving us 00:44 and we love You so much, amen. 00:47 We're reading in the Book of Ezekiel 00:49 and in Chapter 44 starting with verse 11 00:53 and this is the King James Version. 00:57 "Yet they shall be ministers in my sanctuary, 01:00 having charge at the gates of the house, 01:03 and ministering to the house, 01:05 they shall slay the burnt offering 01:07 and the sacrifice for the people, 01:08 and they shall stand before them 01:11 to minister unto them. 01:12 Because they ministered unto them 01:14 before their idols, 01:16 and caused the house of Israel 01:17 to fall into iniquity, therefore have I lifted up 01:20 mine hand against them, saith the Lord God, 01:22 and they shall bear their iniquity. 01:25 And they shall not come near unto me, 01:26 to do the office of a priest unto me, 01:29 nor to come near to any of my holy things, 01:31 in the most holy place, 01:33 but they shall bear their shame, 01:34 and their abominations which they have committed. 01:38 But I will make them keepers of the charge of the house, 01:42 for all the service thereof, 01:43 and for all that shall be done therein. 01:46 But the priests the Levites, the sons of Zadok, 01:50 that kept the charge of my sanctuary 01:51 when the children of Israel went astray from me, 01:55 they shall come near to me to minister unto me, 01:58 and they shall stand before me to offer unto me 02:00 the fat and the blood, saith the Lord God, 02:03 They shall enter into my sanctuary, 02:05 and they shall come near to my table, 02:07 to minister unto me, 02:09 and they shall keep my charge. 02:11 And it shall come to pass, 02:13 that when they enter in 02:15 at the gates of the inner court, 02:17 they shall be clothed with linen garments, 02:20 and no wool shall come upon them, 02:22 whiles they minister in the gates 02:23 of the inner court within. 02:25 They shall have linen bonnets upon their heads, 02:27 and shall have linen breeches upon their loins, 02:30 they shall not gird themselves 02:32 with any thing that causeth sweat. 02:35 And when they go forth into the utter court, 02:37 even into the utter court to the people, 02:40 they shall put off their garments 02:41 wherein they ministered, and lay them 02:43 in the holy chambers, 02:44 and they shall put on other garments, 02:47 and they shall not sanctify 02:48 the people with their garments. 02:50 Neither shall they shave their heads, 02:52 nor suffer their locks to grow long, 02:55 they shall only poll their heads. 02:58 Neither shall any priest drink wine, 02:59 when they enter into the inner court. 03:01 Neither shall they take for their wives a widow, 03:04 nor her that is put away, 03:06 but they shall take maidens 03:08 of the seed of the house of Israel, 03:10 or a widow that had a priest before. 03:14 And they shall teach my people 03:16 the difference between the holy and profane, 03:20 and cause them to discern 03:22 between the unclean and the clean. 03:24 And in controversy they shall stand in judgment, 03:27 and they shall judge it according to my judgments, 03:30 and they shall keep my laws and my statutes 03:33 in all mine assemblies, 03:35 and they shall hallow my sabbaths. 03:38 And they shall come at no dead person 03:41 to defile themselves, but for father, 03:44 or for mother, or for son, 03:46 or for daughter, for brother, 03:48 or for sister that hath had no husband, 03:51 they may defile themselves. 03:53 And after he is cleansed, 03:55 they shall reckon unto him seven days. 03:58 And in the day that he goeth into the sanctuary, 04:00 unto the inner court, to minister in the sanctuary, 04:04 he shall offer his sin offering, 04:05 saith the Lord God. 04:07 And it shall be unto them for an inheritance, 04:10 I am their inheritance, 04:13 and ye shall give them no possession in Israel, 04:16 I am their possession. 04:18 They shall eat the meat offering, 04:20 and the sin offering, and the trespass offering, 04:24 and every dedicated thing in Israel shall be theirs. 04:28 And the first of all the firstfruits of all things, 04:32 and every oblation of all, 04:33 of every sort of your oblations, 04:35 shall be the priest's, 04:37 ye shall also give unto the priest 04:39 the first of your dough, 04:41 that he may cause the blessing to rest in thine house. 04:45 The priests shall not eat of any thing 04:47 that is dead of itself, or torn, 04:50 whether it be fowl or beast." 04:54 Continuing in Ezekiel Chapter 45 04:57 and this is the King James Version. 05:00 "Moreover, when ye shall divide by lot 05:03 the land for inheritance, 05:05 ye shall offer an oblation unto the Lord, 05:07 an holy portion of the land, the length 05:09 shall be the length of five and twenty thousand reeds, 05:13 and the breadth shall be ten thousand. 05:15 This shall be holy in all the borders 05:17 thereof round about. 05:19 Of this there shall be for the sanctuary 05:22 five hundred in length, with five hundred in breadth, 05:25 square round about, and fifty cubits round about 05:28 for the suburbs thereof. 05:30 And of this measure shalt thou measure 05:32 the length of five and twenty thousand, 05:34 and the breadth of ten thousand, 05:36 and in it shall be the sanctuary 05:38 and the most holy place. 05:41 The holy portion of the land shall be for the priests 05:43 the ministers of the sanctuary, 05:45 which shall come near to minister unto the Lord, 05:48 and it shall be a place for their houses, 05:50 and an holy place for the sanctuary. 05:53 And the five and twenty thousand of length, 05:55 and the ten thousand of breadth 05:57 shall also the Levites, the ministers of the house, 06:01 have for themselves, 06:02 for a possession for twenty chambers. 06:05 And ye shall appoint the possession of the city 06:07 five thousand broad, 06:09 and five and twenty thousand long, 06:11 over against the oblation of the holy portion, 06:15 it shall be for the whole house of Israel. 06:18 And a portion shall be for the prince on the one side 06:21 and on the other side of the oblation 06:22 of the holy portion, 06:24 and of the possession of the city, 06:25 before the oblation of the holy portion, 06:27 and before the possession of the city, 06:29 from the west side westward, 06:31 and from the east side eastward, 06:32 and the length shall be over against one of the portions, 06:35 from the west border unto the east border. 06:39 In the land shall be his possession in Israel, 06:42 and my princes shall no more oppress my people, 06:46 and the rest of the land 06:47 shall they give to the house of Israel 06:48 according to their tribes. 06:51 Thus saith the Lord God, 06:53 Let it suffice you, O princes of Israel, 06:57 remove violence and spoil, 06:59 and execute judgment and justice, 07:02 take away your exactions from my people, 07:05 saith the Lord God. 07:08 Ye shall have just balances, 07:10 and a just ephah, and a just bath. 07:14 The ephah and the bath shall be of one measure, 07:17 that the bath may contain the tenth part of an homer, 07:20 and the ephah the tenth part of an homer, 07:23 the measure thereof shall be after the homer. 07:26 And the shekel shall be twenty gerahs, 07:29 twenty shekels, five and twenty shekels, 07:32 fifteen shekels, shall be your maneh. 07:35 This is the oblation that ye shall offer, 07:38 the sixth part of an ephah of an homer of wheat, 07:42 and ye shall give the sixth part of an ephah 07:44 of an homer of barley, 07:46 Concerning the ordinance of oil, 07:48 the bath of oil, 07:49 ye shall offer the tenth part of a bath out of the cor, 07:53 which is an homer of ten baths, 07:55 for ten baths are an homer, 07:58 And one lamb out of the flock, 08:00 out of two hundred, 08:01 out of the fat pastures of Israel, 08:03 for a meat offering, and for a burnt offering, 08:05 and for peace offerings, 08:07 to make reconciliation for them, 08:09 saith the Lord God. 08:11 All the people of the land 08:12 shall give this oblation for the prince in Israel. 08:17 And it shall be the prince's part 08:19 to give burnt offerings, and meat offerings, 08:22 and drink offerings, in the feasts, 08:24 and in the new moons, and in the sabbaths, 08:27 in all solemnities of the house of Israel, 08:30 he shall prepare the sin offering, 08:31 and the meat offering, and the burnt offering, 08:33 and the peace offerings, 08:34 to make reconciliation for the house of Israel. 08:38 Thus saith the Lord God, In the first month, 08:41 in the first day of the month, 08:43 thou shalt take a young bullock 08:44 without blemish, and cleanse the sanctuary, 08:48 And the priest shall take of the blood 08:50 of the sin offering, 08:52 and put it upon the posts of the house, 08:55 and upon the four corners of the settle of the altar, 08:58 and upon the posts of the gate of the inner court. 09:01 And so thou shalt do the seventh day of the month 09:03 for every one that erreth, and for him that is simple, 09:07 so shall ye reconcile the house. 09:10 In the first month, 09:11 in the fourteenth day of the month, 09:13 ye shall have the passover, a feast of seven days, 09:17 unleavened bread shall be eaten. 09:20 And upon that day shall the prince prepare for himself 09:23 and for all the people of the land a bullock 09:25 for a sin offering. 09:26 And seven days of the feast 09:27 he shall prepare a burnt offering to the Lord, 09:29 seven bullocks and seven rams 09:31 without blemish daily the seven days, 09:34 and a kid of the goats daily for a sin offering. 09:37 And he shall prepare a meat offering 09:39 of an ephah for a bullock, and an ephah for a ram, 09:42 and an hin of oil for an ephah. 09:46 In the seventh month, 09:47 in the fifteenth day of the month, 09:48 shall he do the like in the feast of the seven days, 09:50 according to the sin offering, 09:52 according to the burnt offering, 09:53 and according to the meat offering, 09:55 and according to the oil." 09:58 Continuing in the book of Ezekiel Chapter 46, 10:01 this is the King James Version. 10:04 "Thus saith the Lord God, 10:06 The gate of the inner court that looketh toward the east 10:09 shall be shut the six working days, 10:12 but on the sabbath it shall be opened, 10:14 and in the day of the new moon it shall be opened. 10:16 And the prince shall enter by the way of the porch 10:18 of that gate without, 10:19 and shall stand by the post of the gate, 10:21 and the priests shall prepare his burnt offering 10:23 and his peace offerings, 10:25 and he shall worship at the threshold of the gate, 10:28 then he shall go forth, 10:30 but the gate shall not be shut until the evening. 10:33 Likewise the people of the land 10:35 shall worship at the door of this gate 10:37 before the Lord in the sabbaths 10:39 and in the new moons. 10:41 And the burnt offering that the prince shall offer 10:44 unto the Lord in the sabbath day 10:46 shall be six lambs without blemish, 10:48 and a ram without blemish. 10:51 And the meat offering shall be an ephah for a ram, 10:54 and the meat offering for the lambs 10:55 as he shall be able to give, and an hin of oil to an ephah. 11:00 And in the day of the new moon 11:01 it shall be a young bullock without blemish, 11:04 and six lambs, and a ram, 11:07 they shall be without blemish. 11:09 And he shall prepare a meat offering, 11:10 an ephah for a bullock, and an ephah for a ram, 11:13 and for the lambs according as his hand shall attain unto, 11:17 and an hin of oil to an ephah. 11:20 And when the prince shall enter, 11:22 he shall go in by the way of the porch of that gate, 11:25 and he shall go forth by the way thereof. 11:28 But when the people of the land 11:29 shall come before the Lord in the solemn feasts, 11:33 he that entereth in by the way of the north gate 11:35 to worship shall go out 11:37 by the way of the south gate, 11:40 and he that entereth by the way of the south gate 11:42 shall go forth by the way of the north gate, 11:45 he shall not return by the way of the gate 11:48 whereby he came in, 11:50 but shall go forth over against it. 11:53 And the prince in the midst of them, 11:55 when they go in, shall go in, 11:57 and when they go forth, shall go forth. 12:00 And in the feasts and in the solemnities 12:02 the meat offering shall be an ephah to a bullock, 12:05 and an ephah to a ram, 12:07 and to the lambs as he is able to give, 12:09 and an hin of oil to an ephah. 12:13 Now when the prince shall prepare a voluntary 12:16 burnt offering or peace offerings 12:18 voluntarily unto the Lord, 12:20 one shall then open him the gate 12:22 that looketh toward the east, 12:24 and he shall prepare his burnt offering 12:27 and his peace offerings, as he did on the sabbath day, 12:31 then he shall go forth, 12:32 and after his going forth one shall shut the gate. 12:36 Thou shalt daily prepare a burnt offering 12:39 unto the Lord of a lamb 12:41 of the first year without blemish, 12:44 thou shalt prepare it every morning. 12:47 And thou shalt prepare a meat offering 12:49 for it every morning, the sixth part of an ephah, 12:51 and the third part of an hin of oil, 12:54 to temper with the fine flour, 12:56 a meat offering continually 12:58 by a perpetual ordinance unto the Lord. 13:02 Thus shall they prepare the lamb, 13:03 and the meat offering, and the oil, 13:05 every morning for a continual burnt offering. 13:09 Thus saith the Lord God, 13:11 If the prince give a gift unto any of his sons, 13:15 the inheritance thereof shall be his sons', 13:18 it shall be their possession by inheritance. 13:22 But if he give a gift of his inheritance 13:24 to one of his servants, 13:26 then it shall be his to the year of liberty, 13:30 after it shall return to the prince, 13:32 but his inheritance shall be his sons' for them. 13:36 Moreover the prince shall not take 13:38 of the people's inheritance by oppression, 13:41 to thrust them out of their possession, 13:43 but he shall give his sons inheritance 13:45 out of his own possession, 13:47 that my people be not scattered 13:50 every man from his possession. 13:53 After he brought me through the entry, 13:55 which was at the side of the gate, 13:57 into the holy chambers of the priests, 13:59 which looked toward the north, 14:00 and, behold, there was a place on the two sides westward. 14:04 Then said he unto me, This is the place 14:06 where the priests shall boil the trespass offering 14:08 and the sin offering, 14:09 where they shall bake the meat offering, 14:11 that they bear them not out into the utter court, 14:14 to sanctify the people. 14:16 Then he brought me forth into the utter court, 14:18 and caused me to pass by the four corners of the court, 14:21 and, behold, in every corner of the court 14:24 there was a court. 14:26 In the four corners of the court 14:27 there were courts joined of forty cubits long 14:30 and thirty broad, 14:32 these four corners were of one measure. 14:35 Please join me again next time 14:37 to read the
