00:27 Welcome to "Issues and Answers."
00:29 So glad you could join us. 00:30 Today, were gonna be talking about the power of a seed. 00:33 And according to Webster, 00:35 a seed is a flowering plants unit of reproduction. 00:38 It is capable of developing into another such plant. 00:41 Today we are going to be talking about 00:43 again the power of a seed with Dr. Andrea King. 00:46 She is a graduate of Oakwood University, 00:49 holds a Masters of Divinity from Andrews University 00:52 and a Doctor of Ministry from Fuller Theological Seminary 00:56 in California in Youth, Family and Culture. 00:59 Welcome to the program, Dr. King. 01:01 So glad you could come all the way from California. 01:05 Right, thank you. It's good to be here. 01:06 So you've given us the subject the power of a seed, 01:09 tell us about that. 01:11 Why are seeds so important 01:13 and are they mentioned in the Bible? 01:15 Well, seeds are mentioned everywhere in the Bible. 01:18 You talked about it being something with flowers 01:21 but they are all kinds of seeds. 01:23 We find it in Genesis when God says that 01:26 the woman would have a seed. 01:28 We find it when Jesus talks about the word being seed. 01:31 So there's seeds all over the Bible. 01:35 I think seeds are powerful because a lot of times 01:38 when we see seeds or get seeds, 01:40 they don't look like much, 01:42 they are actually pretty disappointing. 01:43 Yes. 01:45 And you can never tell by looking at a seed 01:48 what is gonna turn out. 01:50 And I think many times God gives us seeds. 01:54 I mean, Adam and Eve got the big Garden of Eden 01:57 but the rest of us we usually get a seed or so. 02:00 Right. 02:02 As sometimes when we get those seeds 02:05 and it could be, 02:07 it could be seeds that you have to plant 02:08 which I'm not really good at. 02:10 It could be things that are small 02:14 and then we get it we feel little disappointed 02:16 like God, is this all you have not realizing the potential 02:20 that's hidden in a seed. 02:23 Wow. So seeds... 02:25 I wonder why do seeds come... 02:27 Why did God make them in different shapes and sizes? 02:30 You think that has something to do with us today? 02:34 I bet it could be. 02:38 Seeds absolutely come in different shapes and sizes 02:40 but you can't tell by looking at a seed 02:42 what the end product is gonna be. 02:44 Like, a watermelon seed is black 02:47 but watermelons are green and pink. 02:51 I think of all kinds... 02:53 Banana seed is little brown seed 02:55 but bananas are... 02:56 We hardly see a banana seed. 02:57 Right. We just eat it. 02:59 And but, bananas are bright and yellow 03:02 and God place seeds within each of us. 03:04 There is the seeds of gifts, talents, there is hope, 03:08 there is all kinds of things 03:10 and sometimes it doesn't look like much 03:12 and sometimes people are seeds. 03:13 God places them in our lives 03:15 and we don't see the potential in them 03:17 but in every seed it is bursting with potential. 03:21 The DNA is there, the promises are there, 03:23 the power is there and you give a little time 03:26 and a little nurture is gonna blow your mind. 03:29 Wow. 03:30 Well, so, you've done some study 03:32 into this whole seed thing. 03:34 What can you share with us about each of... 03:37 How can it imply to us? 03:39 Well, I think, you know, 03:40 the Bible talks about the word being seed 03:44 and a lot of times as we hear various messages 03:48 and what not those are seeds too. 03:51 When we read promises, 03:53 those are seeds that God is giving us. 03:56 And the Bible says that there are different soils 04:01 in Mark Chapter 4, there is the good soil, 04:06 there is the stony soil and what not. 04:08 So when that seed goes out, 04:10 the Bible says that the birds come 04:12 and when Jesus talks about the parable He says, 04:15 actually the enemy comes and tries to steal the seed. 04:20 Sometimes the enemy knows 04:22 how important seeds are more than we do. 04:25 And so as soon as that seed goes out, 04:27 the Bible says that the enemy tries to snatch it away 04:30 and in this side we are in charge 04:31 and we are sitting and we are like 04:33 oh, that's a good message 04:34 but we have no idea that that seed 04:36 could change our lives but the enemy does. 04:39 And so immediately, he comes and tries to snatch it from us. 04:43 And so it could be snatched by unbelief or distractions 04:47 or not really believing it 04:48 but if you allow that seed to get in your life 04:51 and you hold on to it, you know, sometimes, 04:55 I can think of several times where God gave me a seed. 04:58 I remember when I was at Oakwood College 05:02 and I was in a choir, and we were going on tour, 05:06 and we will be leaving the country, 05:08 and we had to come up with a lot of money. 05:09 What choir was that? That was Dynamic Praise. 05:11 Oh, yeah, yeah. Dynamic Praise, they were good. 05:13 And so we were going, we are going out on tour 05:16 and we had to come up with this money 05:18 and I was praying and fasting 05:19 because I knew I didn't have the money. 05:21 And I'm praying and fasting. 05:22 I'm like, Lord, please, I really want to go. 05:25 And so after my fast is over, I checked my mailbox 05:28 and there is $30 in the mail. 05:31 And I said, well, praise the Lord God, 05:35 $30 is a nice little thing but I said, 05:39 but Jesus You're gonna have to give me $30 every day 05:43 until the trip to make up. 05:46 And the next day I went to my mailbox 05:50 and there was $30 there. 05:53 Wow. 05:54 Another $30? Another $30. 05:57 So now I hadn't had money in little while 06:00 so I took $15 of that $30 and I went to Wal-Mart 06:04 and bought, you know, Tide and things 06:06 to wash my clothes and I said, okay, Jesus, 06:09 tomorrow I may need 45. 06:11 The $30 plus the 15. 06:15 I promise you when I went to my mailbox 06:18 there was $45 in. 06:21 And so from the beginning when God sent that seed, 06:25 God often sends little seeds and then you think, 06:28 oh, this is too little, we can't do anything with it. 06:31 And, you know, but sometimes 06:34 when you see even something small 06:35 you could say, okay, God, thank You. 06:37 You heard me, you sent it 06:39 because the people sent the money 06:41 before I even prayed. 06:43 He knew I was gonna pray. 06:44 "Before you call, I will answer, 06:47 and while you yet speaking, I will hear." 06:49 And so God did that 06:50 and He continued every single day 06:53 until I got my money, $30 day after day after day. 06:57 Are you serious? I'm serious as a heart attack. 06:59 You did ask Him for $30 every day 07:02 and He did that for you everyday? 07:05 Yeah, when I got the seed of $30 and I was hoping for, 07:08 I would have taken a million dollars 07:09 from the gig go but He gave something little. 07:13 And in Zechariah it talks about 07:14 do not despise small beginnings. 07:17 And so God gave me that little seed 07:19 and instead of being upset about it, 07:21 I said, fine, keep this up, I'll take it every day 07:24 until You get me to where I need to go and I praise God 07:27 and I have never ever forgotten that. 07:29 And so there are other times when I've gotten a chance 07:31 to interact with seeds. 07:33 So when I see seeds they excite me. 07:35 When I see people who don't look like much 07:38 and maybe people want to throw them away 07:40 or I see young people who are not getting good grades 07:44 or making bad decisions but I see the potential. 07:47 I know there is a seed in there and I know everything. 07:50 The wonderful thing about a seed, 07:51 everything the seed needs to become that mighty tree, 07:55 everything the seed needs to become fruitful, 07:58 to become strong and juicy or whatever 08:01 everything is already in that little dry looking nut. 08:06 It doesn't look like much, 08:07 everything it needs is already there 08:09 written in there. 08:10 When I look at people... 08:12 There are people who are watching now, 08:13 who people have told them oh, you are nobody, 08:16 you never gonna make it. 08:17 They are seeds 08:19 and God has deposited something in them. 08:22 And everything they need 08:23 God has already written in and on them 08:25 and He just wants to pull it out. 08:27 That's what excites me first in Philippians 1:6, it says, 08:32 "He who begun a good work in you 08:34 will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ." 08:36 He began it when He did the seed. 08:38 He says I'm gonna perform that work, 08:40 I'm gonna pull it out of you if you just stick with Me 08:44 and go with Me. 08:45 That is amazing that you are saying that 08:48 in every seed there is the... 08:51 God has placed that everything that the seed needs to grow. 08:55 Yes. And do all seeds grow the same? 09:00 Do they grow at the same rate? 09:02 No. 09:03 That they do not do. You know, I... 09:07 In California lots of people have fruit trees 09:09 and I really want fruit trees 09:12 but I'm intimidated by the time it takes fruit to grow. 09:18 You can plant a seed and you will get fruit 09:20 for like seven years or something 09:21 and I'm like that's doing too much. 09:24 And so there's many times where 09:26 and I've been fussing about this for 11 years, 09:29 I could have planted a seed and have fruit by that. 09:31 They have grown and harvested that. 09:33 Absolutely. 09:34 And so a lot of times and, you know, in the Bible it says, 09:37 "By their fruit they will know them." 09:39 A lot of times we plant seeds. 09:40 You know, little beans they sprout up in two weeks. 09:43 And so we want those quick, fast and hurry seeds 09:45 but sometimes got things that take longer are better. 09:51 I love fruit more than beans 09:52 all day long and I think that that's something 09:55 that we need to remember that some things take time, 09:58 fruit takes time. 10:00 In California we have the sequoias, 10:02 we have the redwoods. 10:03 These are thousands of years growing, 10:07 they have trees that are like 2,000 years old 10:09 and they are huge and it didn't happen overnight, 10:13 it did not happen overnight. 10:14 And so it absolutely takes, 10:18 it absolutely takes a lot more time 10:20 for certain things. 10:22 But most of the time it's worth the wait. 10:23 Wow! 10:25 So, how is that then we know it now, 10:27 we got this gift, you shared with us 10:29 that God gives us each a seed. 10:31 Is there anything that we can do 10:34 to help the seed grow? 10:36 Is there anything that we could do 10:39 to stop the seed from growing? 10:41 Is there any part that we have to play in? 10:44 Absolutely, I absolutely believe so. 10:47 When Jesus talks about the Parable of the Sower, 10:52 one immediately the enemy is gonna come 10:54 and try to take that word. 10:56 And so there could be somebody who decides to accept Jesus 10:59 as their Lord and Savior. 11:01 And the Bible says that "If anyone is in Christ 11:03 are new creature, old things are passed away 11:05 and behold, all things are new." 11:07 That is a wonderful promise that is the seed of the word. 11:11 Now the enemy is gonna come minutes later and say, 11:16 don't believe that. 11:17 That was written for church people, 11:19 it wasn't written for somebody like you. 11:21 Don't believe that word because you are pretty bad 11:24 and it's not gonna count for you. 11:25 You are gonna stay broke down and messed up. 11:30 And so that's the enemy coming in 11:31 to try to take that word. 11:33 And so when that happens, 11:35 you have to resist, the Bible says, 11:37 "Resist the devil, he will flee from you." 11:39 Lot of times we run from the devil 11:40 because we don't know the power we have. 11:43 And so resist the devil, say no. 11:45 The Word of God says that I'm a new creature 11:47 that old things are passed away. 11:50 So when the old things come back to your mind like 11:53 well, you used to do this and you used to do that, 11:55 you have e to resist that and begin to believe 11:57 the truth of God's word 11:59 as opposed to the facts of your existence 12:01 'cause a lot of times people get the truth 12:03 and the facts mixed up. 12:06 We look at the facts, 12:07 we go to the doctor and they say, 12:09 well, fact is your, your blood pressure is this 12:14 or your T-cell count is this or whatever, 12:16 these are the facts but the truth, 12:19 the Bible says that 12:20 by Christ stripes we are healed. 12:22 And so we have to decide what we are gonna believe. 12:26 Are we gonna believe that God is a healer 12:28 and that he came with the prayer of faith 12:30 will save the sick 12:31 or are we gonna believe the doctor said, 12:33 you are gonna die nothing can help you. 12:36 They have studies on prayer, they say they don't help, 12:39 they don't do anything. 12:41 So and its research so it's "truth" 12:44 I mean, it's "facts." 12:45 And so you have to decide what you are gonna believe. 12:47 And so, as seeds come in your life, 12:50 you can resist the lies of the enemy and then... 12:55 So you get through and you say, you know what, devil, 12:58 I'm not listening to you. 12:59 The Bible says that I am a new creature 13:03 that Christ has made me new and so then you go, right. 13:07 The next part the Bible talks about 13:10 is then there is all kinds of tribulation that comes. 13:16 And the Bible literally says because of the word, 13:18 because of the seed, 13:20 Jesus says that the word and seed are the same. 13:22 So tribulation arises because of the word. 13:26 Okay, let me understand that. 13:27 You are saying that the Bible says 13:29 that the word and the seed are exactly the same, 13:34 it's not like talents. 13:36 It's the Word of God put into you that's the seed? 13:40 Yes. 13:41 So when Jesus tells the story 13:43 and He explains it to His disciples 13:46 and they wanted to know about it 13:48 He tells them in Mark 4:14, 13:53 it says, "The sower sows the word." 13:56 So He told the story already, He said the sower sows seed. 13:59 And then with His disciples in their life 14:01 what's going on tell us about that again, 14:03 we didn't understand it. 14:05 Then He says, "The sower sows the word." 14:07 So that seed that the sower was sowing is actually word. 14:10 And so this word is going out. So as the sower... 14:16 And what I love about that is often times as preachers, 14:20 as missionaries, as teachers when the word goes forward, 14:25 sometimes it doesn't produce the harvest 14:27 that we were hoping and we thought well, 14:30 maybe I didn't do something, right. 14:31 Maybe I didn't do it right or something 14:34 but it's still the same 14:36 no matter where the seed fell, the word was good, 14:39 the seed was good. 14:41 It wasn't about the seed, it was about where it fell, 14:45 and what the soils allowed to take place when it fell. 14:50 And so the very next verse it talks about 14:54 when Satan comes immediately he tries to take the word 14:57 that was sown in their heart. 15:00 And then verse 17 it says, so the Satan comes 15:04 and then the next one it falls on stony ground. 15:07 When they hear the word, they receive it with gladness 15:09 but then they have no root in themselves 15:12 because tribulation or persecution arises 15:15 for the word sake. 15:17 Right. Because of the word. 15:19 So that word is so good 15:21 but now tribulation is gonna come. 15:23 So trials are gonna come. 15:24 You say, I'm gonna follow Christ 15:26 but now your old friends are persecuting you, 15:31 or now you have problems on your job 15:33 because you are trying to follow what God has said. 15:36 And so now that persecution is arising because of the word. 15:41 And you are gonna think, I should give this up. 15:44 It's not worth it. 15:45 I came, I'm trying to do things right 15:48 and everything is turning out wrong. 15:51 And that is another way 15:53 that you can let go of that thing 15:55 but if you hold on to that seed, I mean, 15:58 if you get through it and you keep reading, 16:03 you will see wonderful things will take place. 16:06 If you get through the trials and the tribulation, 16:09 then the Bible talks about riches and all kinds of so. 16:13 So if the enemy can't get you with scarcity and drama, 16:17 then he may give you abundance. 16:19 And you're like, you know what, 16:21 I don't need the word 16:22 because I just got a million dollar contract 16:23 or whatever. 16:25 I really don't need Jesus to make my livelihood 16:27 because something else can do it 16:30 and that is just another distraction 16:33 and cares of the world 16:34 are trying to choke out the seed. 16:36 But if you hold on and say come, 16:39 no matter what comes or the tribulation 16:42 or the abundance, scarcity whatever, 16:44 I'm holding on to the Word of God. 16:47 The Bible says that it will bear fruit 16:50 30, 60 or 100 fold. 16:53 So if you just hold on, it will explode 16:56 and bring the wonderful promise that God has. 16:59 So you may not feel new at the beginning, you may not, 17:01 it may not seem new at the beginning 17:04 but if you just hold on 17:05 that thing is going to explode so much 17:07 so that people won't even remember. 17:10 You will be talking to people and they'll be like, really, 17:12 that happened to you? 17:13 You used to be that? You used to do that? 17:16 Honey, you don't even look like what you've been through, 17:19 God will do that and it's through His power, 17:22 His spirit and His word. 17:24 So I'm wondering now, you know, 17:25 you hear people say about a word of knowledge, 17:28 maybe something that's coming from a wise counselor 17:31 or a pastor or a teacher or from an evangelist 17:37 or just the person who has lived their life 17:39 is it his death also potentially a seed if it's... 17:43 Could that be a seed in a person's life? 17:45 Absolutely. 17:47 I believe, I absolutely believe that it could be 17:51 but of course, you want to know 17:54 where you are getting your seeds from. 17:56 Okay, so that is a match up 17:57 to the Word of God is what you are saying. 17:59 Absolutely. Absolutely. 18:01 You know, my kids often times when we have fruit, 18:04 they often want to take the seeds from the fruit 18:08 that we bought from the store and go plant them outside 18:11 and what they don't know is that those won't grow. 18:14 A lot of the, a lot of the seeds, 18:16 and you don't understand that they are bearing 18:19 and so it looks good for a second 18:21 but it won't really grow. 18:23 You have to get other seeds that will plant. 18:26 Some will but a lot of them are... 18:28 Right. 18:29 They have been refrigerated, they have been treated 18:31 and it brings up a whole another issue there. 18:33 And they are hybrids... Right, exactly. 18:35 And so absolutely 18:37 but you have to know who you're talking to. 18:40 So just anybody can walk up to me 18:42 and say that they have a word from the Lord, 18:45 but if there is somebody who... 18:48 that you know, you can see their fruits, 18:50 that you know, it's connected to the spirit of God. 18:54 Absolutely God gives us... 18:57 God speaks through people 18:58 and He grants us wisdom through them. 19:02 So would God ever have somebody say something 19:06 that's different than what that counter 19:09 or that would be against what's in the Bible? 19:11 Oh, no. 19:13 That would be considered a seed, a true seed. 19:15 Well, man should not live by bread alone 19:19 but every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God. 19:21 So we know that the seed is the word 19:23 and so if somebody... 19:25 So I could be speaking seed 19:27 but I better be speaking the word 19:29 and when you hear the word, then you know, 19:31 oh, okay, that's right, 19:33 that is based on the Word of God. 19:37 So if somebody is not speaking 19:38 and they desire to have a new knowledge 19:40 that you've never heard of before, 19:43 it's never been in the word of God 19:44 because even Jesus the Christ, 19:47 He said I'm not telling you anything new. 19:49 The prophets, the law, 19:51 they all testified about me even what He said 19:55 jived with the Word of God. 19:57 And so that's so important. 20:00 So now I want to ask you another question. 20:01 You hear people about sowing seeds, 20:03 sowing seeds into a ministry, sowing seeds for prosperity, 20:07 sowing seeds is that, is there anyway... 20:11 Is that spoken of in the Bible? 20:13 Is that the same seed we are speaking up here? 20:16 Well, I mentioned that there are several seeds 20:19 so it actually is spoken of it in the Bible. 20:25 In 2 Corinthians 9 20:29 the Bible talks about being a cheerful giver 20:31 and the Bible says that God gives bread, 20:34 He gives His bread and He give seed to the sower. 20:37 And so there are verses 20:40 that do talk about being generous and giving. 20:44 I think there are sometimes 20:46 some of the things that we've heard 20:48 have been a gross building of scripture. 20:54 And so I think once again 20:56 you have to look at where it's coming from. 20:59 God always, He allows us to give 21:02 and there are promises related. 21:04 He said, test Me, try Me and this and see if I... 21:07 you know, giving your tithe and offerings. 21:09 Right. 21:10 But now somebody is saying, 21:12 you know, send me $5 and I will pray for you or say, 21:16 you know, usually it's not $5 21:18 it's like a thousand or something like that. 21:21 You know, the Bible even talks about that 21:23 there was Simon the sorcerer 21:26 who wanted to buy the Holy Spirit 21:28 and Paul said, you are gonna perish with, 21:31 you and your money will perish 21:33 because you don't know what you are talking about. 21:35 The Spirit of God is not bought or sold 21:39 so given freely, and so a lot of times 21:42 people may try to pint the gospel 21:46 and I don't think that that is at all 21:48 what God is talking about 21:49 and that's not what I'm talking about. 21:50 However you can sow seeds and you can sow, 21:55 you know, Paul did talk about it 21:57 in 2 Corinthians 9. 22:00 So we've covered the sowing of seeds 22:04 coming from the Holy Spirit 22:06 and every seed has every single thing 22:09 that it needs to be able to grow. 22:12 We've talked about how the enemy takes 22:15 could, can if we allow him 22:17 to where he attempts to take our seeds 22:20 that God has given us 22:21 and try to scatter them at some place or to steal them, 22:24 actually steal them, he is a robber. 22:27 Then we've talked about good seeds 22:29 that could be sown in from other people 22:32 that match up to the Word of God. 22:34 And then our own seeds in a positive way 22:37 that could actually go for good things. 22:42 I want to talk about the 100 fold now. 22:44 We all want to be able to be blessed. 22:46 We all want to be able to have 22:48 our little, tiny little bit of seed grow, 22:51 how can we do that? 22:53 You know, I actually think it's up to God. 22:56 I actually think that 22:59 because it says some were 30, some were 60, 23:02 some were 100 fold. 23:04 Right, so everybody is trying to get to 100 fold. 23:06 Isn't that why people play the lottery? 23:08 Some people say, well, that's gonna be my little seed, 23:10 I'm gonna go ahead there 23:12 and hopefully I'll get a 100 fold, 23:13 is that what we... 23:15 We are not really talking about that... 23:16 No, that's not we are talking about. 23:17 Not that they will fill it out 23:19 because so many people say that, 23:20 they're throwing their little seed out there 23:21 to the lottery. 23:23 Oh, yeah. 23:24 So clearly we are not talking about that at all. 23:26 Right. 23:27 We are talking about the ones that God can bless 23:28 and you are saying that it's up to God 23:30 whether it's 30, 60 or 100. 23:33 Okay, well, that's your more than double, 23:35 is that right? 23:36 Thirty is auto max, 23:38 so you mean to tell me that every seed 23:39 that God sows into my life is gonna be more than double? 23:42 It's gonna be like 30 times, 23:45 it's gonna be a whole lot more than what I've got. 23:47 I mean, we see that in nature when you take one apple seed, 23:52 you get an apple tree 23:54 which may give you more than 30 apples, 23:57 300 apples 23:58 and in that those 300 apples are 30 seeds. 24:04 Well, maybe 10 seeds and in each of those, 24:07 and so you can just take one seed 24:08 and it will continue to multiply 24:11 and expand and expand. 24:13 And so that's the God that we serve. 24:16 He is super abundant, super generous 24:19 and He blesses us with that. 24:21 However we are in a society, I don't know about you. 24:24 I mean, you can barely buy grapes 24:26 with seeds in them. 24:28 You know, we are a seedless society. 24:30 We despise seeds, we don't like seeds. 24:33 We want seedless oranges, seedless grapes, 24:36 seedless watermelons 24:37 but the potential, the growth is in the seed. 24:40 And so just because that seed is there, 24:42 it does not mean it's going to do anything in your life. 24:45 You do have to work the seed, 24:47 you have to plant it and grow it. 24:49 You have to protect it. 24:51 If you spit it out, if you throw it away, 24:53 then you are missing out. 24:56 There was a mother, she had two boys 25:00 and there was a option they had, 25:03 one could have one of her wonderful apple pies 25:07 and one could just have a plain old apple. 25:10 And so of course, she let the oldest pick first 25:12 and he pick the beautiful, delicious apple pie 25:16 and the other one, the baby got the apple. 25:19 And you know, he felt some kind of way 25:20 about that at first. 25:22 But while his brother was getting all those calories 25:25 in eating that apple pie, 25:27 he took the seeds in that apple and began to plant them. 25:30 And eventually he had an apple orchid 25:33 and what he was angry about at first 25:37 because he thought he got jilted 25:39 with just the plain old apple. 25:41 Because he was able to recognize 25:43 the power in those seeds 25:44 and to put the hard work behind it 25:47 and begin to do it, 25:48 his life changed. 25:50 Wow. Wow, that's amazing. 25:52 So there is with the seed 25:54 growing up that makes more seeds, 25:57 countless seeds. 25:59 Absolutely. 26:00 Oh, wow, what those seeds. 26:02 Dr. King, I wonder if you can pray with us 26:04 for those, just for all of us 26:06 who wanted really be able to have those seeds 26:09 planted by the Holy Spirit in us 26:11 to be able to just grow and multiply. 26:14 Now before I pray, can I just say one thing? 26:16 Yes, yes. 26:18 Because the seed is word 26:19 so we have to make sure we get some word. 26:22 You know, we may want things in our lives to multiply 26:26 but this prayer will be specific 26:27 that the word of God multiples all of them. 26:30 And he has wonderful promises and so, 26:32 and so I would love for even our listeners 26:35 and our viewers 26:36 to take some time and get in the word 26:38 and see what God has said, 26:40 so that it could began to expand in their lives. 26:42 Amen. Okay. 26:44 Our gracious heavenly, Father, God, 26:45 we thank You that you are great God 26:47 that You are generous God 26:49 and we thank you oh God, for the seeds 26:51 that You've placed in our lives. 26:53 Father, we thank You that you said that 26:54 if anyone is in Christ they're new creature, 26:57 old things are passed away 26:58 and behold all things become new. 27:01 There are some people watching right now 27:03 wondering if they could have a new start, 27:05 if they could have a new life 27:06 and through Jesus Christ they can. 27:09 Father, in the name of Jesus 27:10 I pray that You would touch them, 27:11 that you would bless them. 27:13 That you would allow them to experience Your hope, 27:15 Your joy, Your peace, oh God. 27:17 I pray that the seeds that You have planted 27:20 that You will cause them to explode, oh, God. 27:22 You who began this good work in each of us 27:24 perform it until the day of Jesus Christ, 27:27 so that when Jesus Christ comes again, 27:30 we will be able to say 27:31 this is our God we waited for Him, 27:33 He will save us 27:34 and we will be ready 27:36 for that great getting up in morning. 27:37 In the name of Jesus we pray, amen. 27:40 Amen. Amen. Thank you so much for coming. 27:43 Thank you. We appreciate it. 27:44 It's such a blessing. Thank you so very much. 27:48 Well, for those of you 27:49 we just really want to thank you 27:51 so much for joining. 27:52 Wasn't this a powerful program? 27:53 It was for me 27:55 just to know that God plants in each one of us a seed, 27:59 a powerful personal opportunity to grow, 28:05 to flourish, to become more 28:08 than what that little tiny seed looks like on the outside. 28:12 May that be a prayer for each one of us 28:14 that we will be that seed today in the name of Jesus. |
