22:24 [Mike] That's wonderful! 22:24 And so you take your book, you 22:26 give it to someone, you can 22:27 have a conversation and tell 22:28 them all about your life and 22:30 you're not even there. 22:31 >> Mm-hmm, exactly. 22:31 >> So you're sharing your 22:32 story with so many other 22:34 people, I know you shared it 22:35 with your neighbours as well. 22:37 Are you thinking about writing 22:39 another book? 22:39 (laughs) 22:41 >> So some of my friends, our 22:43 friends that have read the 22:44 book, they said, 22:46 "Where's part 2?" 22:48 And so they asked because the 22:49 first book finished when we 22:51 moved here in Oshawa and we've 22:53 lived here 15 years, so... 22:55 Yeah, so I've taken the 22:57 opportunity of the Christmas 22:59 break and the lockdown and 23:01 I've started writing and so I 23:03 have a draft, by God's grace, 23:05 if He opens an opportunity to 23:07 publish that as well. 23:09 So it's a story about the life 23:10 that we had here in Oshawa, 23:12 the joys, the failures, the 23:14 successes, the victories, the 23:16 lessons learned, so hopefully 23:18 we'll see something like that 23:20 in the future. 23:21 >> You know what's so amazing 23:23 about writing your story or 23:25 talking about your story, is 23:27 that it's your story and how 23:30 God has blessed you and led 23:32 you so no one can argue with 23:35 that, right, when you write 23:37 something about your story. 23:38 >> So if you're trying to 23:39 share your faith with someone 23:41 and you do it in the form of a 23:42 book about your life then of 23:44 course you have permission to 23:46 do that and people will accept 23:48 that more easily. 23:49 >> For sure, yeah, it's 23:51 interesting because one of the 23:52 neighbours that we gave a copy 23:54 of the book to, Arlene has 23:56 been sharing books to her in 23:58 the past, religious books, and 23:59 she kept saying, "Yeah, that" 24:01 "will be the next book that" 24:02 "I would read." 24:03 But when we gave this to her, 24:04 we ran into her about a couple 24:06 of weeks after and she said, 24:07 "I've been wanting to run" 24:09 "into you because," she says, 24:11 "I read the book today," 24:12 "actually I finished it." 24:13 And she was really glad that 24:15 she received a copy from us. 24:17 [René] That's so wonderful. 24:18 [Mike] God really blessed and 24:20 made you a part of a community 24:22 here in Canada and you were 24:24 able to share within your 24:26 community. 24:27 That's so important, yeah. 24:29 >> So, Finnie, I wonder if I 24:31 can ask you to please pray for 24:33 us before we finish today, 24:35 so... 24:36 >> For sure, let's pray. 24:39 Our gracious loving Father, 24:41 Lord, we thank You for Your 24:42 faithfulness. 24:44 I've seen it in our lives and 24:46 I thank You, Lord, that You've 24:48 given us this opportunity 24:49 to talk. 24:51 Father, I pray that You will 24:53 continue to bless the ministry 24:54 of It Is Written, I pray for 24:56 Pastor Mike and René and the 24:58 rest of the team, Lord, as 25:00 they continue to endeavour to 25:03 reach the world through 25:05 messages of hope and to 25:08 deliver the message of Your 25:10 goodness and Your 25:11 faithfulness. 25:11 Father, I pray for some of the 25:14 people that may have just 25:15 recently migrated to Canada. 25:17 I know how it was like. 25:19 They may be facing some 25:21 challenges, Lord, but I wanna 25:22 assure them that our God is 25:24 faithful, that He will never 25:25 leave them nor forsake them, 25:28 so I thank You, Father, for 25:29 this opportunity, 25:31 in Jesus' name, amen. 25:33 [Mike & René] Amen!
