00:22 - Hello, and welcome to Jesus for Asia Now. 00:24 I'm Natalie Wood. 00:26 Today I have Kasey Norton, 00:28 and we're going to be talking about 00:29 how God is leading her family 00:31 into full-time service in Thailand. 00:34 Hi Kasey, welcome to the show. 00:36 - Hi! 00:37 - It's such a privilege to have you here, 00:38 - Thank you. 00:40 - and talk about how God is leading. 00:41 I know it's been quite a process already for you all. 00:45 (laughs) 00:47 - That's for sure. (laughter) 00:48 - So we wanna start with how did you become interested 00:51 in going to Thailand, or I dunno, 00:54 maybe in your personal experience, 00:55 you wanna start even before that 00:57 where God started preparing your heart 00:59 for mission service at all. 01:02 - Yeah, I was not interested at all in mission service. 01:05 My husband comes from a missionary family, 01:08 and he has been interested for years. 01:12 And I had, you know, I just said no. 01:17 Back in July, I started, 01:21 we had a series of meetings at our church, 01:24 and I started to walk around the perimeter of our house, 01:28 praying every morning for about an hour. 01:31 And I was basically dedicating our family 01:37 and our house, our property, our cars, everything to God. 01:44 We have been seeing, 01:45 especially as our kids have gotten older, 01:47 how, sort of, the world is pulling at them. 01:50 And so I pretty much just promised God 01:54 that I would do whatever he asked, 01:59 if it would bring healing, 02:00 and I was claiming the promise in 2 Chronicles 7:14, 02:05 and then your ministry came to our church in September, 02:10 and I was pretty appalled 02:13 that I could sit and listen to the stories 02:15 and I felt nothing. 02:16 Like, I didn't have any kind of emotional response 02:21 to what you were saying. 02:25 I was praying about that. 02:27 You know, why? 02:28 What is missing in my experience 02:30 that I can listen to other people who are dying 02:33 who know nothing about Jesus? 02:37 So the last meeting, we went to, 02:41 I think it was the Sabbath afternoon meeting. 02:46 I don't even remember, 02:48 honestly I don't remember what it was about, 02:49 but I felt this, 02:54 I dunno, I sensed that God was asking us to do something. 02:58 And so, I said something to Hannah, my daughter, 03:01 in the car on the way home. 03:02 We were driving separate cars. 03:03 And when we got home, Robby and I passed in the living room, 03:07 and I said, I feel like we're supposed to go, 03:09 and he was like, yeah, me too. 03:12 And that was all it was. 03:15 And we ended up, you know, deciding to pray about it, 03:17 sort of put out a prayer fleece, 03:19 which was very, very clearly answered. 03:24 I didn't, the desire didn't come from me. (laughs) 03:28 - Wow. 03:29 So how has this affected your life 03:33 and the lives of your children? 03:35 I mean, as a mom. 03:37 How many children do you have? 03:38 - We have eight. 03:39 - Okay. - Yeah. 03:40 - So how has this affected your lives? 03:43 - I feel like in every aspect, 03:48 it's affected everybody differently. 03:51 So obviously, the preparation to go is, you know, 03:57 total upheaval to our lives as we know it. 04:00 But also realizing that in order to be able to be used 04:05 that we need to truly be entering 04:08 into personal experiences with Christ now, 04:11 not waiting until we get there. 04:16 And I think redefining what missionary actually means. 04:23 And then helping each of the kids sort of navigate that 04:27 on a personal level. 04:28 - Right. 04:29 'Cause you have children from what age? 04:32 - 21, our oldest is 21. 04:34 We have a 21 year-old, a 20 year-old, and an 18 year-old, 04:37 all boys, 04:39 and then a 15 year-old and a 14 year-old girl, two girls, 04:42 and then three younger boys, twin seven year-olds 04:45 and a four year-old. 04:47 So yeah, all of the ages. 04:49 - That's a broad range of ages. 04:51 - Yes. (laughs) 04:52 - And I'm sure with each of them it's very different. 04:54 - Yeah, and it's different from day to day. 04:56 'Cause the girls were very excited initially, 05:00 and then as they've gone through it, 05:05 what that looks like, 05:06 walking them through it has changed dramatically. 05:08 - And the realization of what's changing 05:11 is becoming more real. 05:12 - Yeah, more what they're leaving. 05:14 They're excited about what they're going to, 05:16 and they're very hesitant about what they're leaving behind. 05:20 - Yeah, friends and family. 05:22 That's the hardest thing, I think. 05:23 - Yeah, very hard. 05:26 - So are all the children going with you to Thailand? 05:28 - Not initially. 05:30 When we first go, it'll be the younger six, 05:33 so from 18 years old down. 05:37 And the 18 year-old has committed to six months, 05:40 so we'll see what that looks like after six months time. 05:44 - Right, wow. 05:46 So it's very different for every child. 05:48 So you're constantly praying, I'm sure, for wisdom. 05:51 - Yes, because it's difficult for the ones who aren't going. 05:53 Their lives are changing dramatically too 05:55 because we won't be right there. 05:56 And you know, I think there's some grieving for them 05:59 because they feel like they're losing their family. 06:04 - Yeah, when my husband goes, especially for a long time, 06:07 I'm always so thankful for Skype and for FaceTime now, 06:10 and stuff like that, where we can see each other, 06:13 you know, and talk. 06:14 It's such a blessing, it's a privilege. 06:17 I mean, we've been reading about Hudson Taylor, 06:20 and they didn't have any of that. 06:21 They had to write a letter and then wait, you know, 06:24 sometimes three months was the cycle 06:25 for the letter to get home and a reply to be written 06:28 and get back to them. 06:29 We're so privileged. 06:31 It's hard. - Definitely a good time 06:32 - It's definitely hard. - to be going. 06:34 - But it's definitely 06:35 a blessing. - Hard in a different way. 06:36 - Right, it's definitely a blessing that it's now 06:39 when there's more technology to help with those things. 06:42 So it's really made a lot of changes now, 06:46 as a mother, and seeing what your kids are going through, 06:49 I'm sure that's... (laughs) 06:51 - It's changed everything. 06:53 It's changed what we're doing in our home school, 06:56 what we talk about at worship every, I dunno, 07:01 it's seeping into everything, 07:03 which is sad, that it took making this decision to go 07:05 for that to happen. 07:07 But I think we're going as much to save ourselves 07:11 as to help anybody else. 07:14 - Okay. 07:15 Now, I was gonna ask you, 07:16 have you had challenges along the way? 07:18 I mean, aside from the experiences within the family, 07:21 figuring out what is being gained and lost, 07:25 what about challenges, you know? 07:27 Is it easy road or hardships, or... 07:30 - The obstacles that we had in the way, God has cleared, 07:34 just one after the other, 07:36 in such a way that we couldn't choose 07:39 to do anything different. 07:40 We would, he's proven himself so clearly 07:44 that it would be absolute disobedience 07:47 for us to change our minds now. 07:49 - Wow, so you know that he has arranged 07:53 each of these answers. 07:54 Wow. 07:55 - We had, most of our obstacles have been financial. 07:57 We, right now, make less than probably we ever have, 08:03 and with more monthly expenses because of kids in college, 08:11 and just, the kids are older and they cost more. 08:15 And we've been able to pay off all of our medical debt, 08:21 which we had considerable debt 08:22 because of one of our seven year-olds. 08:25 And a vehicle that we wanted to give to one of our sons 08:31 who isn't going, 08:31 and we weren't sure, you know, 08:34 you can wanna give a gift sometimes 08:36 and it's not necessarily good for the person 08:37 you wanna give it to. 08:38 So we prayed and asked God 08:40 to help us find a way to pay it off 08:44 so we didn't have to sell it to get out from under it. 08:49 And we would use that-- 08:50 - To know that you were supposed to give it. 08:51 - Right. 08:53 And so, Robby dropped it off at the dealer, 08:58 an auto-body repair place for an estimate 09:00 because we were gonna fix just some, it wasn't wrecked, 09:03 but we were gonna some exterior body damage. 09:06 And they totaled it. 09:08 The insurance company totaled the vehicle, 09:10 which, it's not wrecked, it's not, you know, 09:13 terrible body damage. 09:14 There's no reason for it to be totaled, 09:16 but it got completely paid off. 09:18 And you know, that doesn't happen. 09:20 So it's just been-- 09:21 - So does it have a salvage title now? 09:23 - No, in fact, that's what they said, we could buy it back. 09:27 It was gonna be $500. 09:28 We had no money at that point. 09:32 And by the time we got off the phone, 09:34 I think it was $150 to buy the car back. 09:37 And they said, that particular make and model of vehicle, 09:40 they don't issue salvage titles for, 09:41 so it has just a normal title. (laughs) 09:46 - Well that's like, you never hear of that. 09:49 - No! 09:50 And that's what it's been the whole time. 09:51 So all of those obstacles, we haven't worked hard, 09:54 we haven't had to work hard to get to where we can go. 09:58 And I think the harder part has just been 10:00 fielding questions, 10:02 and people who, you know, who care about us 10:06 and our children have just questioned the wisdom 10:10 of what we're doing. 10:11 That's been harder. 10:12 - Mmm. 10:13 So this has done what for your faith walk? 10:18 - Um. (laughs) 10:19 I think it has introduced me to what it is 10:22 to even have faith 10:24 because if I were left to myself to make the decision 10:29 whether to keep going forward or to just be like, 10:34 never mind, this was a crazy idea, 10:37 I would totally abandon it. 10:38 But knowing that God is asking something of you 10:42 and that he, no matter what we're giving up, 10:47 he's got something better planned for us. 10:49 And that grows my faith, 10:52 really digging into scripture so that we can help our kids 10:57 has definitely, helping them has helped me. 11:00 And so, God is so creative how he uses the people 11:03 that he puts in our lives to grow us. 11:06 But yeah, so it totally, just totally different experience 11:11 right now. 11:12 - Wow. 11:13 Now, I know you have a blog that you've been, 11:15 you're a writer, and you enjoy that. 11:17 And so you've had this blog for a while. 11:20 Do you wanna share any of that journey with our viewers? 11:25 - It's funny to me, 11:28 when I see something that I wrote a long time ago 11:30 and I know where I was when I wrote it, 11:32 and I feel like a fraud, like, I wrote that? 11:37 Having that sort of, almost a journal 11:41 to look back on, - Yeah, kind of a record. 11:43 - Yeah. 11:44 It's almost embarrassing to me to see. 11:46 But I know that God accepts us in each phase that we're in, 11:50 and so, you know, he's not hiding his face, 11:54 like I just wanna, I don't, I don't wanna see that stuff. 11:56 - Yeah, he's not ashamed of you. 11:58 - Right, he's okay with the path that we take, 12:00 and the progress. 12:03 But the writing has been good because 12:07 I think sometimes things that I internalize, 12:10 writing about it helps me-- 12:13 - [Natalie] Process, maybe? 12:14 - Yeah, yeah. 12:15 That's a good word, yeah, process the things 12:17 that I don't even know are going on up there. 12:20 - Okay, 'cause they come out 12:21 - Yeah, in writing for me. - Through the fingers. 12:25 - I can't talk about it. 12:26 If I try to tell you something that I'm gonna write, 12:28 it won't come out. 12:29 - Wow, that's neat. 12:31 That's a talent too - (laughs) 12:32 - That God has given. 12:34 We'll look forward to hearing your stories then. 12:37 - Yeah! (laughs) 12:38 - From over there. 12:40 - I'm excited to share from over there. 12:44 - Now, when Robby went, 'cause he got to go 12:47 after you decided that this was the direction 12:50 that God was leading you, 12:51 he got to go and see everything. 12:53 How was that for you being at home, 12:55 knowing that he's scouting out the land 12:57 and you're just gonna have to do it vicariously. 13:00 How was that for you? 13:02 - I think it was good because I tend to want to try to, 13:07 I mean, if I'm just being honest, 13:09 I like to, I'm a female, I like to control my environment. 13:14 I'm the one raising the kids, so a lot of times, 13:17 I'm the one that's making a lot of the decisions. 13:19 So something as big as moving to another country 13:23 and not even being able to see it 13:25 and just trusting that God is leading Robby. 13:29 I think it was good for me. 13:30 I wanted to go. 13:33 But setting aside the need to control everything, 13:40 I think that's one part of this process (laughs) for me. 13:44 - A growth experience. 13:45 - Yeah. 13:46 And he came back with so many pictures 13:49 and detailed reports of what he saw and did over there. 13:53 So I'm very comfortable with, (laughs) 13:56 with where we're going. 13:57 - Wow, well praise the Lord. 13:59 So there was an experience, I know, 14:01 that was challenging for you on several different levels. 14:04 Do you wanna share that with us? 14:07 - Back at the beginning of the year, 14:10 I had agreed to meet one of my sons for dinner. 14:16 He'd been really struggling with some things, 14:19 and I felt strongly that I needed to go. 14:23 I was sick. 14:24 But I went. 14:25 I got in the car, and as soon as I got in the car, 14:28 I started praying, 14:29 number one, 'cause I felt so terrible, 14:31 but also because I felt like it was such an important... 14:37 - Time in his life, maybe? 14:38 - Yeah. 14:40 And I didn't want, you know, 14:43 you can be an overbearing mother. 14:44 He's 20, or at the time, he was still 19, 14:47 but I wanted to offer advice without being pushy. 14:52 So I was praying. 14:53 I got only a minute or so into the drive, 14:56 and my body just felt like lead, 15:00 everything, I couldn't move, 15:04 to try to move my leg to work the pedals 15:07 because I was driving a stick, was, it just felt impossible. 15:13 My thought was that maybe I was sicker that what I realized, 15:16 but you know, I didn't have this feeling at all before then. 15:20 And so, I kept driving, and I would tell, 15:23 like, as I was on the mountain, 15:24 we live on a mountain and as I was going down, 15:27 when you get to the bottom of the mountain, 15:29 you can pull over and sleep, which is such a bizarre thought 15:31 because I would never pull over and sleep. 15:35 I got to the bottom and I couldn't pull over. 15:38 I was physically unable to. 15:40 So I pulled onto the road 15:43 that leads into town, 15:45 and the feeling, 15:48 I dunno if it really intensified or it just didn't let up, 15:51 but just felt wooden. 15:55 So there's gas stations up ahead, 15:56 and I, again, I was like, I'll just get to the gas station 15:59 and you can pull over. 16:00 And I was having these weird thoughts 16:02 that if you pull over, 16:03 you're never gonna make it to meet your son. 16:07 They're gonna find you unconscious in your vehicle, 16:10 just really bizarre, 16:11 and I knew, like, I knew that what I was thinking 16:15 was weird, 16:16 but I couldn't do anything about it. 16:18 - You couldn't control your thoughts. 16:20 - So I took the last turn into town, 16:22 and there was this voice in my head. 16:25 It sounded like, at the time, 16:28 it sounded like it was my own voice talking. 16:32 And it just was saying, 16:34 throw yourself into the oncoming traffic. 16:38 I panicked at that point. 16:40 And I got my phone and I got a hold of Robby. 16:43 I don't know what he heard. 16:45 I wish that I could tell what my voice, 16:47 'cause to me it sounded like 16:49 the words were being dragged out. 16:51 Really slow and low, 16:52 and it didn't sound like my voice at all to me. 16:56 And he just said, I'll pray. 17:00 I had been trying to pray out loud, 17:03 and I couldn't string words together. 17:06 I don't even know how I conveyed to Robby 17:08 that this was even happening. 17:11 So not very long after that, I like, forced my voice somehow 17:20 and I prayed something very simple, like, 17:24 God, help me, what is this? 17:26 And there was this, it felt like a blanket, 17:30 like a heavy blanket. 17:32 And it pulled off of me. 17:34 Like, to the side. 17:36 And it was the weirdest sensation. 17:42 I'm in the car by myself, and I just screamed, 17:43 what was that! 17:48 Then I realized, like, my body was light, and I was so hot. 17:52 I didn't realize it until it came off and cool air hit me, 17:55 it felt like. 17:57 So I was bouncing in my seat. (laughs) 18:00 I felt normal again. 18:02 And I truly believe that, for whatever reason, 18:09 Satan didn't want me to meet with my son that night. 18:10 He didn't want that conversation to happen. 18:12 My son really opened up. 18:16 So yeah, that... 18:19 - Wow. 18:20 Yeah, he didn't want you to meet with your son, 18:22 but he also didn't want you to live. 18:24 He wanted you to throw yourself into oncoming traffic. 18:27 Wow. 18:28 He was trying to stop you. 18:30 Not just for that day, but permanently. 18:33 Wow. 18:34 - I've never experienced anything like that before or since. 18:36 And I don't ever want to feel that close 18:40 to that kind of darkness. 18:41 - No. - It's awful. 18:43 - That's a good encouragement to keep close to Christ, 18:46 to keep praying and keep-- 18:47 - Yeah, force it. 18:48 'cause sometimes, you know, he does. 18:50 He tries to make it so that we can't pray, 18:52 and just forcing, pushing through that and praying anyway. 18:56 - Yeah, what a powerful testimony. 18:59 And you know, it's neat to see, sometimes, 19:02 God lets us have a glimpse behind the curtain 19:05 that he keeps us, you know, the hedge of protection 19:08 that he keeps around us. 19:11 And I think you saw that so clearly. (laughs) 19:14 - Yes, for sure. 19:15 - The power of evil. 19:17 And you know, it's a spiritual battle 19:20 that we often don't see in America. 19:22 Had you ever had that kind of experience before? 19:24 - No, never. 19:27 But it does make very real the verse that says 19:32 that we battle not against flesh and blood 19:35 but against principalities and powers 19:37 and the rulers of the darkness of this world, 19:40 and spiritual wickedness in high places. 19:45 We read that or memorize it or whatever, 19:47 but it doesn't really, you don't really realize 19:51 what it is until you encounter something like that. 19:54 - Yeah. 19:55 And overseas, though, 19:57 where we've been in the Buddhist countries 19:59 and the Hindu countries, they see it so much more. 20:04 And so, I think maybe God allowed you 20:06 to have that glimpse behind, 20:07 knowing that you're going to Thailand 20:09 and you need to have an understanding that it is that real. 20:13 It is that real. 20:14 And it not only looks real, it sounds real, it feels real. 20:18 You know, your own voice was used against you. 20:21 And that weight, I mean, it was all real. 20:23 It was all real. 20:25 - I shared at church about what our plans were, 20:28 and a man that we had never seen before 20:32 was there with two ladies. 20:33 And he came up afterwards and he said, 20:36 I have a message for you. 20:39 He said, what I'm gonna tell you won't make much sense 20:42 until you're over there, 20:43 but when you need it, 20:45 God is gonna bring my words back to you. 20:48 And he said, you're going to encounter evil 20:52 that you can't imagine. 20:54 He said, you know, you obviously have a clue 20:57 of what goes on from, I guess from what I had shared, 21:00 but he said, you're going to encounter things 21:04 that you haven't, you can't imagine right now. 21:07 And he said, God wants you to know, 21:10 no matter what circumstance you're in, 21:12 that you're not to be afraid. 21:16 You know, that's a little bit freaky 21:18 to have somebody say (laughs) such a thing to you. 21:21 I'm like, what are we gonna encounter? 21:22 But then, that promise at the end, 21:25 God wants you to know, you are not to be afraid. 21:28 Like, commanding you, don't fear. 21:30 - Not to be afraid. 21:31 He's there, he's always there. 21:33 - He's more powerful than the evil. 21:36 - Wow, amazing experiences the Lord is giving you. 21:40 Wow. 21:42 And to have the reassurance that you're going to do 21:44 what he wants you to do. 21:46 - That's the only reason I'm going. (laughs) 21:48 - [Natalie] And he's there, yeah! (laughs) 21:48 - For sure. 21:50 - Wow. 21:51 Well, we wanna talk to your daughters, 21:52 and then we'll talk with you again. 21:55 Well now we have Hannah on the set with us. 21:57 Welcome to the show, Hannah. 21:59 - Thank you. 22:00 - [Natalie] It's nice to have you here. 22:01 - It's nice to be here. 22:02 - Just had a couple questions for you 22:03 as you're getting ready to go over to Thailand 22:05 with your family. 22:08 After seeing some of your dad's pictures 22:10 from when he went there, 22:12 are you excited to go 22:13 and see some of these places for yourself? 22:15 - Oh yeah, definitely. 22:17 I think it looks really, really beautiful over there, 22:19 and the people. 22:22 I dunno, I'm just excited to see the different culture. 22:26 - Okay. 22:27 Anything, any place in particular? 22:30 - Not that I've thought of. 22:32 No, not right now. (laughs) 22:33 - Okay. 22:35 And what about learning the new language? 22:37 Have you listened to Thai? 22:40 - Yeah, it sounds a little insane. (laughs) 22:42 - Oh, really? 22:44 Yeah, it's a tonal language, 22:46 and so it can be difficult to learn, 22:48 but I'm sure you can do it. (laughter) 22:50 - I hope so. 22:52 - Wow, so that'll be a good challenge for you then. 22:55 So where are you in school? 22:56 Are you homeschooled? 22:57 - Yes. 22:58 - Okay, so you're gonna be taking schoolwork with you. 23:00 - Mhm, yeah. 23:00 - Okay, all right. 23:02 Well that'll be fun. 23:03 - Yeah, I think so. (laughs) 23:05 - Well, I appreciate you being here 23:07 and sharing a little bit of what you're looking forward to 23:09 and maybe the language challenge. 23:12 - (laughs) 23:13 - But God is good, he'll help you. 23:14 I know he'll help you. 23:15 All right, thanks for joining us. 23:17 - Yeah, thank you. 23:18 - And now we have Abby with us. 23:20 Hi Abby, welcome to the show. 23:21 - Thank you. 23:23 - And we wanted to ask you a question 23:24 about going over to Thailand. 23:26 I asked your sister already, 23:28 but what is it that, having your dad go to Thailand already, 23:32 what is it that you've seen, like, 23:34 in his pictures or heard about in his stories 23:36 that you're, in particular, looking forward to. 23:38 - Well, I'm excited to see how the people live there, 23:41 and, I don't know, their culture, 23:47 taste the food, see what it's like. 23:51 - You've eaten Thai food in America? 23:52 - Yeah. 23:54 - So you kinda have an idea, but tasting it over there 23:56 is different, it is different. 23:58 So what about learning the language? 24:00 - I'm excited. 24:02 I've always wanted to learn a new language, 24:03 but I've never actually followed through with it. 24:05 So I'm excited. 24:06 - Okay. 24:07 And you've heard some Thai? 24:08 - Yes. 24:10 - So has it been a comfortable experience for you, 24:11 this growth of faith that you're seeing. 24:13 - Yeah. 24:14 - Yeah? 24:16 Is it hard to make the decision to go, sometimes? 24:18 - Sometimes. 24:21 - Is it the friends and family that you're gonna miss? 24:23 - Yeah. 24:24 - Do you sense that this is what God's asking you to do? 24:26 - Yeah. 24:27 - Well, thank you so much for sharing with us, 24:30 and we're excited to see what happens 24:32 and how the Lord works in your life 24:35 and in your family's lives over there. 24:37 Thank you. 24:38 Well, it was neat to talk to your daughters 24:40 and ask them some difficult questions. 24:42 They were cheerful. (laughter) 24:45 And they answered willingly, which was nice. 24:49 So as the mom, and as the wife, 24:54 watching how God is growing 24:56 your family's faith and everything, 24:58 I wanted to ask you, what kind of obstacles still remain 25:01 as far as what you have to get through, 25:04 or what you see that your family has to get through 25:07 to be able to go to Thailand? 25:09 - I think really the only thing 25:11 that's still standing in the way is the sale of our house. 25:16 It's been on the market for a couple of weeks, 25:18 and we're hoping to be able to leave 25:22 by mid-August or September, somewhere in around there. 25:29 We're just trusting that this is how God has led 25:33 and where he's led us to. 25:34 And so, we're trusting that the house will sell. (laughs) 25:37 - Right, at the right time. (laughs) 25:38 - Yeah, at the right time. 25:40 Hopefully not too soon, 25:41 but also in time for us to leave by then. 25:45 We really wanna be able to get in Chiang Mai 25:48 for the language study 25:49 and leave before that smoke that we keep being told about. 25:54 - Yeah, they burn the rice fields. 25:56 It was really bad this year, it was the highest ever. 25:59 - Levi doesn't show any signs of asthma, 26:02 suddenly, just in the last few months, it's completely gone. 26:05 But there's still this little part of me 26:07 that doesn't wanna have him there. 26:09 - Tempt it, right. 26:10 Right, yeah, no you don't wanna take chances. 26:13 Foolishly, anyway. 26:14 So as a mother, to a mother, I appreciate, you know, I know. 26:19 I took my kids to India and Thailand 26:22 when they were very small. 26:23 My daughter was four and my son was six. 26:25 And so, I know it's a challenge 26:27 to take the little ones over there. 26:29 And then, when they're teens, now they've traveled so much 26:32 that it's easier for them, but there's still challenges. 26:35 Well, we look forward to hearing more from your family 26:39 and seeing how God leads and what the next steps are, 26:43 and what happens, you know? 26:46 What the ministry looks like 26:47 that he's feeding to you. - We're looking forward 26:49 to hearing that too. (laughter) 26:51 - Because we know he has a plan. 26:52 It's very obvious that he is leading. 26:55 So if people would like to read your blog posts or stories, 26:59 whatever you end up sharing from over there, 27:02 how would they be able to do that? 27:04 Is there a place they can do that? 27:05 - Yeah, I share from walkingredeemed.com, the website. 27:12 But recently, I've mostly just been sharing on Facebook, 27:15 and that Facebook page is just called Walking Redeemed. 27:18 - Okay. 27:20 All right, well thank you again for sharing with us today. 27:22 - Sure. 27:23 - I would like to invite you to be a part 27:25 of the Norton's ministry, to pray for them. 27:28 Pray that they will know and see the steps 27:31 that God wants them to take, 27:33 to follow him into the ministry 27:35 that he has already prepared for them. 27:38 And if you would like to be a part of supporting them, 27:40 you can contact Jesus for Asia 27:42 at PO Box 1221, Collegedale, Tennessee, 37315. 27:48 Call us at 423-413-7321, 27:52 or visit our website at jesus4asia.org. 27:56 Please remember to pray for the missionaries out there. 27:59 The Nortons are going to an unreached city 28:01 called Sukhothai. 28:02 Pray for the people that live there, 28:05 and may God bless you richly. 28:06 Until we see you next time, on Jesus for Asia Now. 28:10 (inspiring orchestral music) |
